I own no one here, so the question is will demyx actually get sick.
Demyx took the papers, they were questionnaires with a yes or no box to check. A pen was attached, and they slowly worked their way through it.
"I very well know about your lack of clear handwriting." Vexen huffed.
"Come on it is not that bad." Demyx cringed.
"At least it is not chicken scratches, but is utterly devoid, of any clear, concise, descriptive, useful information."Vexen continued.
"All those big words are gonna make my brain hurt." Demyx quipped.
"As if you have one." Xigbar spoke up from across the room.
"I do have one." Demyx shouted back.
"Unless you have something important here, begone." Fumed Vexen.
"Calm down, you are gonna give yourself a heart attack." Xigbar laughed.
"Get better soon." Roxas spoke to Xion who was sleeping, as Axel ushered him out of the room.
Vexen stormed out of the room, as Xigbar watched him go.
"So mind letting me out?" Demyx pleaded.
"Not a chance, on the superiors orders." Xigbar mused.
"Aww man." Demyx pouted.
Xion was woken up by the commotion, and sat up looking around. They were feeling dizzy, as well as a little thirsty.
"Hi poppet" Xigbar spoke. "Need anything?"
"Just a drink.." She trailed off sitting upright.
"A bit young for that." Demyx quipped.
"They mean juice you dolt." Xigbar huffed, walking over to the mini fridge.
"Can you get me one?" Demyx asked.
"Unless I get orders to, not a chance." Xigbar retorted.
Demyx pouted this was getting boring just waiting, while Xaldin walked in carrying a tray of sorts. Xaldin walked over setting it down on a nearby table, then turned to Demyx. Xigbar gave some juice to Xion, who then started eating the soup that was brought in.
"You do look like a fish in a tank." Xaldin chuckled. "Need some decorations to cheer you up."
"Very funny guys." Demyx hissed.
"Actually any movies you like, as a move player was approved. " Xaldin spoke.
"Anything but horror." Demyx spoke.
Xigbar had left the room, and went to one of the nearby closet, Xaldin's remark had given him a few ideas. They found a few markers that could be used on glass. Now all they had to do was wait till Demyx was asleep.
Xaldin kept an eye on Xion, and them filled out a few papers, placing them neatly on Vexen's desk. Demyx seemed fine for now, but that did not mean they would not get sick. For all they knew it was just a waiting game. After two movies, Xion fell asleep, and Xaldin placed a few blankets over them, while Demyx watched.
"Thanks for the movies." Demyx spoke. "Wonder what Vexy is up to at this point."
"Most likely running tests and taking notes in the lab." Xaldin yawned, as Demyx let out a sneeze.
Xaldin paused, then grabbed a note quickly jotting down the time and that Demyx sneezed.
"Oh come on." Demyx pouted.
"Might be a cold setting in, might be nothing time will tell." Xaldin spoke, then left the room.
At that moment Vexen walked back in, and went straight to Xion. They checked her over, and checked her temperature, while jotting down some notes. They woke up unexpectedly, and Vexen backed up a little giving them space.
"You seem to just have a cold, and not the flu." Vexen spoke. "Just a few more days and you will be fine."
They turned to Demyx to notice a note on the desk, and took a glance at it.
"Well it looks like you might be sick after all." Vexen mused, getting a glint to his eyes.
"What are you going to do?" Demyx stammered a bit worried.
"For now nothing, just observing." Vexen mused. "Now why don't both of you get some sleep."
With that he left, and Demyx settled down, hoping the sneeze was just some dust. Xion decided to go back to sleep, they looked rather comfy. Xigbar was just outside watching as Vexen left quickly he walked in and scribbled on the walls of Demyx's cell then scurried off with a laugh. Luxord was not too far behind and had some green tissue paper and tape in his hands. He walked up taping it to the outside, then took off. The night was rather quiet, and Demyx woke up with a yawn, he was felling a little stuffed up and had a slight chill.
"Oh come on, me and my big mouth." He said with a pout.
The lights came on and he saw the doodles on the cell ,.
"Hey!" Demyx fumed. "Guys that is not funny."
Xion woke up and walked over, she saw the writing and decorations, then started taking them off. Vexen walked in and was about to scold them one.
"Hey it was not her." Demyx said in her defense.
"Xion you need to be resting."Vexen said taking her hand and guiding her back to bed.
He returned to see that the cell now looked like a fish tank, they almost let out a chuckle.
"So how are you feeling?" Vexen spoke grabbing a notepad and a pencil.
"Could you turn up the heat, and I am a little stuffed up." Demyx replied sneezing again.
"Well I can provide you an extra blanket, and move you to the recovery wing to be put in isolation." Vexen spoke opening the door.
At that moment Demyx almost made a run for it when Saix showed up.
"Going somewhere?" He glowered.
Vexen put a mask on,grabbing Demyx by the arm and led him to a much larger room that was far more pleasant than the holding cell he had been in.
"The superior would like a status report." Saix sighed a bit annoyed.
"Xion is doing better, and Demyx is now officially sick." Vexen reported.
Saix wrote that down then looked at the holding cell that was now decorated like a fish tank. That gave them a small smirk, and they left to let the superior know of the current development. Along the way they ran into Xigbar and Luxord who were sitting in the lounge.
"Demyx is sick." Saix informed them.
"No way!"Huffed Xigbar.
Zexion walked in overhearing them, they were not happy at the news.
"Thanks for jinxing us." Zexion spoke crossing his arms.
"At least they are in quarantine." Luxord spoke. "So we can rest easy."
"Well after we all got sick." Zexion remarked. "How is Xion?
"Doing better should be back on her feet in a few days." Saix spoke before moving on.
The superior was at his desk, glad things were finally getting back on track, and was not happy to see Demyx was sick. Though he kinda brought this on himself, and they were not about to let him off easy. He had caused quite the setback, but at least the damage was minimal. Although Demyx never got sick, and this might be a first for them. He told Saix to move Xion back to her room, for the time being as not to tie up Vexen with looking after her. Saix said nothing as he herded Xion to her room. Once there Axel and Roxas wer waiting, welcoming her warmly.
"Good to have you back." Axel spoke.
Saix said nothing but left, hoping this would be over with soon. Demyx on the other hand settled down for a nap, perhaps he should have not let that kid sneeze on him after all.
