Jewel placed her hands on her hips and sighed as she watched quinjet after quinjet slowly making their landing back onto base. She smiled softly as she was happy that they were able to get a hold of the prisoners just in time. It appeared that the Jiyang only wanted to make a statement with the leaders of the new SHIELD before her launch. Jewel was sure that the woman would've killed the others after her mission was complete. Thankfully, they were able to stop it.

She scanned the dock until her eyes landed on Daisy who was holding herself as Coulson was talking to her. Her heart sank as she wondered what was going on through the young woman's mind. It was brought to her attention mid flight that Daisy was the one who had to kill her own mother. Someone who she had longingly sought out for her whole life.

Even from this distance, Jewel could see her eyes gleaming with tears as no doubt Coulson was trying to console her and say that she did the right thing. Jewel turned her head as she watched some Inhumans leaving the ramp, some in handcuffs, some not. The lady who can multiply herself walked past her, but the woman looked remorseful instead of angry like some of her friends.

Jewel glanced up to the sky and noticed that it was the last quinjet to land as the protector was finally closing to again remain unseen. She shifted and looked around, feeling surprisingly uncomfortable being around so many familiar faces and remembering how they all were avoiding her since she was affiliated with Grant Ward.

Running steps made her snap out of her thinking as Jemma came almost skipping up, beaming like a little kid out of school.

"Isn't it great?" Simmons asked, "We get to live another day again"

Jewel smiled and nodded, "Yeah, imagine that"

"Where's Ward?" Simmons asked but not in a suspicious way.

"He's calling Muna to give her the all clear" Jewel informed, "She insisted on coming back to see the wreckage"

"Does that mean I get to properly meet your daughter?" Simmons asked.

Jewel hesitated, "Yes, I guess so"

Simmons smiled and let out an uncontrollable squeal that reminded her of the old Simmons. Jewel couldn't help but smile as they both turned and went into the base. Jewel looked around as she noticed that Lincoln was talking to some of the Inhumans who came in peace as they were going to meet with Coulson any minute now to discuss their future. Lincoln doubletaked and nodded to Jewel as she gave a small wave in his direction as the pair continued, making their way over to the lounge. Jewel immediately saw Grant and Hunter sitting on the couch with a beer in hand as Mack played with Fitz some game.

"How's Minnie?" Jewel asked.

"I talked to her" Grant smiled, "She can't wait to see us and is really happy that they're taking the jet"

"Muna is going to fly out the jet with Jasmine in it?" Jewel asked, "We've never even done that"

Grant shrugged, "Maybe she's ready, who knows? Maybe she'll pick up after her mom as an agent?"

"Could you imagine?" Jewel groaned, "I'm not ready for such challenges"

"Good thing she's one years old then" Fitz called from the floor, "You guys got plenty of time"

Jewel turned and chuckled as Grant scoffed and took a sip out of his beer. He slowly brought it down as Jewel glanced up to see what he was looking at. Daisy was slowly making her way over to the group but her eyes were set on Grant. Mack noticed this as he pressed pause on their game to see the interaction.

"Coulson told me what you did and how you both stayed and helped the team" Daisy said slowly, "He, uh, also told me the deal he made with your guys. Kinda surprised that he would go through all of that trouble just to help me… but I'm glad he did. I'm also glad that you guys didn't give up on the mission. He asked me to wipe out everything on the web about your dealings with Hydra"

Jewel asked, "And did you?"

Daisy nodded, "I unfortunately can't wipe out everyone's memory but I hope what you did to help get SHIELD back will have a decent start. It's still hard for me to even think that I just erased everything but Coulson said that Jewel and your daughter changed you for the better and I believe that. I mean, if Fitz can sit with you in the same room then I guess I can forgive you as well"

Grant nodded, "Thanks Skye"

Jewel nudged him as Grant quickly corrected himself, "I mean, Daisy"

Daisy nodded before looking at Jewel, "Keep an eye on him, will you?"

Jewel smiled and nodded back as Daisy gave the tablet to Grant as he looked through it and noticed that everything was wiped clean. His breath was caught in his throat as he turned and looked up to Jewel who reached down and gripped onto his hand. Grant looked back at Daisy, got up and reached out to shake her hand to which Daisy hesitated slightly before taking it and shaking it firmly.

"Okay, well, I gotta go and talk to the Inhumans now" Daisy backed away, "Coulson wanted me to be in charge of debriefing them"

"What? No day off?" Mack asked, "That sucks"

"I was hoping there was going to be some punching between the two of you" Hunter told Grant as he pointed to Daisy walking away.

"Not today" Grant said, "I've already served as a punching bag today"

"What are you planning on doing now?" Fitz asked, "You're a free man, you can continue being an agent in SHIELD. We could really use you… again"

Grant looked to Jewel who swallowed as he said, "I think I'll have to talk with my family on that one"

Fitz turned back to the screen as Mack unpaused it, turning everything back to normal. Jewel was down and kissed Grant lightly on the head before petting the back of his hair.

"I don't know about you guys but I definitely would love to get a cooking lesson from Jewel while she still has time left" Simmons brought up, "I'm sure the Inhumans would really appreciate it, given all that they're been through"

Jewel agreed, "You're right about that. There are actually people here who have not had my cooking yet"

"I'll help" Grant got up.

"I'll eat" Hunter chimed in, "When it's ready"

Jewel looked at Hunter and smirked but we were happy to see that they all went into the kitchen to at least cook something to make the Inhumans feel welcomed.
