Prompt: Ice

…
"Mind your step, Watson, the street is icy."
"I am aware of that, Holmes, Mrs. Hudson warned us this morning."
"Still, I am concerned in case you fall, and aggravate your wounds further. Your limp, and stiffened shoulder suggests that the cold is already making your wounds ache, Watson. Perhaps it was a tad too ambitious to head to the tobacconist's today, considering how icy it is.
"You are right enough, my dear Holmes- HOLMES!"
"Oof!"
"Are you alright, my dear fellow?"
"Yes… just… just bruised, my dear doctor. And…"
"Embarrassed? These things happen to the best of us, Holmes. Come now, I'll help you to your feet and we can head for 221B. I'm sure Mrs. Hudson will have some tea and one of her delicious mince pies for us at home to warm us up. Right, up you get, old fellow."
"Much appreciated, old fellow."
"It was my pleasure to help, Holmes. Are you alright to walk?"
"Yes, I think so."
"If we're steady on our feet, we'll be fine. Come on, old chum, lets go home and I'll tend to your bruises before partaking in refreshment provided by our excellent landlady."
"Indeed, Watson, indeed, and with a roaring fire, too! All that, plus your fine company, will be all the remedy I need."
"You flatter me, Holmes. But I do look forward to your company by the fire, Holmes. Now come, let's return to 221B."
"Yes, Watson, let us do exactly that…"
