A man wearing a cream colored cloak underneath what appeared to be black battle armor that only covered his chest walked down the winding corridor as his emerald green eyes scanned the contents of a datapad. Looking at the orders upon the pad once more, a disgusted look crossed his visage as he turned a corner.

'Why must I be the one deployed on this desert rock on the same day all of these wretched monkeys are ordered to return?!' The man sneered as he swiped from the left side of the screen to the right. The sneer deepened when he saw what he was supposed to monitor the incubators.

'What's better is I have to watch the wretched monkey spawn on top of being stuck on this miserable rock!' His rage soared to new heights at this new information.

Coming to a stop at the door leading to his post, he took a deep breath before he walked toward the room, causing the door to open with a 'Fwoosh' allowing him to enter. The room itself was circular in nature, containing bulb-like pods filled with incubation liquid arranged in a semi-neat circle that converged on an elevated platform connected to the ground floor via four sets of stairs located facing a different entrance to the room. The second floor was organized in a similar fashion, but on a much smaller scale with it having four more sets of stairs leading to a much smaller platform with a singular empty pod atop.

Looking around, the man's sneer never left as he went about checking the various filled incubators to make sure that everything is how it's supposed to be.

'As much as I hate these wretched monkeys, tampering with them would only lead to my death when the king finds out.' The man simmered in his thoughts as he finished checking the first few incubators in the room's ground floor.

'It'd be even more pronounced with this room having only half of the incubators filled.' He thought as he arrived at his next assigned incubator.

"Huh?"

Only to find it empty...

"There should be a child here right!?" He muttered as he rapidly tapped on his datapad.

'Fwoosh'

"Who's there!?" He shouted, looking in the direction of the sound, only to see the door close with another 'Fwoosh'. The man stepped back in fright as he rapidly looked around for signs of life within the room other than himself and the children in the incubators. With every few seconds that passed with him not seeing anything, his fear increased..

"I-I'm warning you! I-if you don't show yourself soon, I'll have to use f-" He was cut off as a hand reached through the glass of the empty pod behind him and grabbed his jaw, keeping his mouth shut to avoid him from making any more noise. The man's datapad clattered against the ground as his eyes widened from the deceptive strength of the lithe hand wearing a white glove. The hand slowly wrenched him backwards causing his back to give a sickening crack. His pain-filled scream was silenced by the gloved hand before he heard light breathing next to his right ear.

"Now, now.. We don't need any fools causing a ruckus and alerting the entire building.." The voice was like syrup and the man's eyes widened as he saw the figure of what appeared to be a younger Saiyan, no older than 14 cycles, appeared from the shadows and drain the incubator directly across from him before taking the child, a girl with spiked black hair that went to the mid of her back, out before giving him a cheeky grin before she rushed to another incubator to repeat the process. After the girl had left, the man felt the hand holding his jaw tighten, almost cracking his jaw in the process.

"Oh.. Look at what you did, you've seen too much now..~" The voice spoke, a syrupy tone precedent in the words, her intent clear as day to him, as the man started to struggle in a vain attempt to escape with his li-

Crunch

The fresh corpse fell to the ground like a sack of potatoes, his head turned a full 180 degrees. Stepping over the corpse, the figure of a woman with black spiked hair that reached the base of her spine was revealed, showing her black armor with yellow shoulder pads over a red bodysuit. Looking around the room, the woman bit her bottom lip in frustration as she did the mental math. Turning her head, she addressed her accomplice.

"Paseri! Remember, we only have seven more pods available. " She ordered the now named Paseri, who was now holding two additional children leaving her tally to one in each arm and one held by her tail, who had looked towards her with doe-like eyes, having not realized that their time was almost up.

"That much? I managed to grab three so far!" Paseri exclaimed in a hushed whisper trying not to wake the three and cause them to cry, alerting the entire building in the process. The adult gave a nod as she went about draining multiple incubators at once to speed the process up.

"Good, this has to be our last run from all the commotion going on outside." She spoke in a solemn voice as she looked around the room, in preparation for any unwanted visitors as the draining of the incubators neared their completion.

As the seconds ticked by, the duo grew more and more nervous, the smaller of the two showing it while the elder kept it hidden better.

'Come on, come on! We don't have much time left! If the scouter is right, it will happen any minute now!' The elder of the two thought, a drop of sweat streaming down the side of her face as she waited for what has to be the final four incubators to finish their draining.

Giving a sigh of relief the elder Saiyaness and Paseri went about getting the children out in pairs to speed up the process without setting off any alarms. Grabbing one more, Paseri looked to her comrade in their escapade and addressed her.

"So where to now Hanasia? You never said where the pods are located." Paseri asked as she saw Hanasia pick up two children that looked almost identical, twins even.

"A cave in Lecut Wastes." Hanasia curtly answered as she grabbed the twins that had started to play fight by the tails so that they wouldn't cause any problems for them. Hanasia gave one last nod as she picked up a little girl who slept soundly as she was wrapped in her tail. Looking around, she quickly thought of the best way to escape without setting off any alarms if possible. Meanwhile, Paseri's eyes widened at the new information as she followed Hanasia out of the room and into the hallway.

"Lecut Wastes?! Isn't that on the other side of the planet?!" Paseri whisper-yelled in shock before Hanasia's hand clamped down on her face, keeping her mouth shut.

"It was the best location to put the pods without anyone finding them on any scans or through patrols." Hanasia harshly whispered as she held the twins by the tails in her other hand. Giving a sigh, Hanasia let go of Paseri before continuing her walk to an exit. Meekly nodding, Paseri followed behind Hanasia at a more sedate pace.

Leaving the incubation building was easy enough, most of the population was either sleeping or in bars at this time of day. Hanasia and Paseri quickly made their way through the back alleys of the capital before hopping quickly but stealthily through the terrain of Planet Vegeta as they approached the location of the pods.

"Do you think the others managed to get their targets?" Paseri asked as she held onto the children she had grabbed. Hanasia, meanwhile, wasn't sure as the others were assigned to the opposite side of the planet. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she tilted her head forward to keep the sand from the sudden gust of wind from getting in her eyes.

"I don't know. Their target incubation building's location was in a more secluded area than ours was." Hanasia responded as she looked over her shoulder towards Paseri.

They hopped over a ridge, the wind ruffling their hair as the location grew closer at a rapid pace.

"Hanasia, look up! We're running out of time!" Paseri called out as she saw a familiar circular ship enter orbit of their homeworld. Hanasia looked up and saw the same thing as the sky started to gradually become more and more covered with various ships of different makes and models. Cursing, Hanasia urged Paseri to speed up as she herself started to move faster and faster. The land became nothing more than a blur beneath them as their speed increased drastically.

Within a few minutes, they had covered what would've taken them hours to at their previous pace. Hanasia gave a sigh of relief as they crested over a hill and saw rows of space pods and adult Saiyans moving about, putting Saiyan infants into pods as they were prepared for launch.

"Whoa…" Paseri stood dumbstruck from the sight, her unusual navy blue eyes sparkling slightly from never having seen an operation this big so close! Ignoring her starstruck companion, Hanasia quickly walked forward into the heart of the operation, causing a thin man to rush to her side upon seeing her.

"Status report!" She commanded, handing the children she was holding to a Saiyan walking by. The thin man by her side scrolled through the datapad clutched in his hand before answering.

"Retrieval squads 10 and 11 returned not long before you had and Engineer squad 1 is currently programming the pods to various habitable planets where our race can thrive." He reported as Hanasia nodded in confirmation before turning and looking to the sky and the ship orbiting the planet in the distance.

"What's the ETA until the pods are ready for launch?" She said as the man next to her followed her eyes before his own widened.

"I'll.. speed up the process to be within the hour.." He said, sweat dripping down the side of his face.

"Please do, I fear we won't last the day." Her response caused him to swallow the fear before it consumed him.

The launch site was chaotic as Saiyans worked tirelessly to program all of the pods with their respective destinations' coordinates. Paseri, having reported that her section of pods had their assigned coordinates, looked at the last pod of her group with contemplation, a girl that looked remarkably like her sleeping in her arms as she did so.

"LAUNCHING IN 1 MINUTE! CLEAR THE DAMN LAUNCH PAD OR DIE FROM THE SHOCKWAVE!" Paseri yelped as Hanasia's normally calm voice barked out, a hint of urgency mixed in with the shout. Looking around, Paseri saw what was close to two dozen Saiyans quickly fly out of the way within seconds.

'It's now or never…' Paseri thought as she clenched her left hand into a fist and her normally navy blue eyes steeled in determination as she entered the last empty pod, the girl held protectively in her arms.

"Don't worry 'Ria, big sis' has ya." Paseri whispered as she watched the pod door close and hiss as it sealed shut.

Seeing all the Saiyans clear the launch pad Hanasia took a deep breath before addressing the Saiyan adults that were watching her.

"As you all already know, Frieza has called back the entire Saiyan race. Some thought that this was for a special mission or to deliver new equipment. I can assure you, this is not the case." She started as she reached up towards the cloak that was wrapped around her form.

"When he saw Frieza enter our atmosphere earlier today, our King had gone for a meeting with the lizard." She paused as her crowd grumbled at the reminder of their 'Lord'.

"Frieza hadn't known this but King Vegeta had left his scouter on, relaying their… encounter to me, and I've learned that Frieza has killed our King!" Some of the Saiyans had gasped at the information while most had looks that ranged from unnerved to angered upon their faces.

"Now, that the vast majority of our race is home, I fear that we're next on the list." The bitter truth brought on a deathly silence upon the group. Hanasia clenched her right fist around the clasp of her cloak.

"So tell me! Will we, the Mighty Saiyan Race, die with a whimper into the night? Or will we roar in triumph over the corpse of the Tyrant known as Frieza?!" She started, her voice turning into a shout as the demoralized Saiyans bristled at the implication of being cowards before a new fire sparked in their eyes as they roared in agreement with her.

"Then let's show this bastard the Might of the Saiyans before we erase him from the universe at large!" Hanasia finished as she floated to the sky as a dark blue, almost purple aura erupted around her before she blasted off flying towards the direction of Frieza's Ship.

"Yes, our Queen!" The voices of her followers reached her as they all blasted into the sky, following her to save their race from destruction.

?

A pale reptilian being sat in a hovering throne, his ebony horns blending almost perfectly with the void that encompassed the entirety of the outside of his ship, a purple biogem sat on his skull, reflecting the newly made asteroids that floated in the aforementioned void. An unusual elation colored his malice filled eyes as they gazed into the newly formed asteroid field. A grin formed on his face before it soon turned into a wicked cackle not unlike the one he gave off barely an hour prior.

'Even with that rebellion those Monkeys started, they died just as marvelously!' They thought before the cackle was interrupted by a small yellow alien with a oval shaped head attached to a thin neck and a small body covered by standard issue armor over a dark green dress.

"You better have a good reason to interrupt me enjoying the sight of Planet Vegeta turning into an asteroid belt. Kikono." The being almost snarled the last word causing said alien to yelp at that, it was something he's never done before to him.

"Er.. w-well.. L-lord Frieza.. One of our scanners detected multiple pods l-leaving the sector." The small alien known as Kikono said, hesitation evident in his form, fear consuming his very being as he reported what would most certainly cause his death.

A deafening silence consumed the room at the report. Minutes ticked by with no response from the Lord as Kikono's form shivered from fear.

"How many." The two words nearly caused Kikono to empty his bowels from both fear and shock from the suddenness of the words after the pure silence. After a few seconds Kikono realized that Frieza was looking over his shoulder, his crimson eye staring hole into him as he struggled to answer.

"W-well the sector scanners detected them when they were leaving, o-our techs theorize that the excess energy covered them until now. And since the excess energy covered the sector for well over an h-hour, we can't determine how many actually es-" Kikono stammered, trying to dodge the question before being interrupted by an explosion erupting behind him as a thin cut opened on the side of his face.

"How. Many. Kikono." The smoke accentuated the ferociousness in the eye that glared at Kikono, causing his hearts to pulse with fear that he would be next if he said the wrong thing.

"O-our techs guess that the n-number could be as high as somewhere in the h-hundreds." Kikono said, a whimper in his voice as he winced, closing his eyes as he awaited a certain death.

"..."

"..."

The silence was almost suffocating for Kikono, his fear of death reaching new heights with every passing second before his enraged Lord. The small ball of death that Kikono had seen kill dozens, if not hundreds of underlings that had so little as breathed too loud within proximity to the Emperor, now pointed directly at his torso.

"...So be it." The simple words caused Kikono to yelp in fright because of the sudden noise.

"AHH- H-huh?" The small ball of death pointed at Kikono dissipated into nothing as Frieza lazily lowered his arm before turning away from his advisor to stare through the window in contemplation. The wrath infamous amongst his empire had fizzled away in the wake of a marvelous new idea.

"Zarbon. Dodoria." The two in question stood ramrod straight at their lord calling them, dust and smoke covering them as their once pristine armor was now nothing but pieces thanks to the explosion they were not far from.

""Yes, Lord Frieza?"" They responded in unison as they awaited their orders. They didn't have to wait long for their lord to give them

"The highest power level for a standard Saiyan is 2,000, no?" He spoke, his crimson red lips curving into a smirk as he never took his eyes from the remains of what was once a planet not even two hours ago.

"Gather a battalion of soldiers, no more than 30. Send them to scout the planets in the direction that the pods went. Upon finding planets with Saiyans on them, give them strict orders to mark the worlds before moving on. Have command posts moved towards the sectors with a mid-level soldier stationed at each. Provide them a platoon of soldiers whose numbers are proportionate to the amount of monkeys there. Their orders are to observe the little monkeys until they reach adulthood. If they succeed beforehand, bring them into the fold." The Emperor spoke, his gaze tracing various patterns in the asteroids. "And if they don't clean the planet they are on, send them to join the rest of their filthy race." He finished as his sickening smirk widened into a full on malicious grin as Zarbon and Dodoria left to fulfill their orders.

On a ringed planet, the aquamarine sky darkened as three pods arced across the atmosphere before slamming into a nearby mountain.

On a planet that had a green sky of an eternal archipelago covered in blue grass and sparse trees, a singular pod smashed into the center of a small village.

Two pods arced across a white sky before slamming into a glacier not far from a small settlement.

On a planet with a multitude of different biomes, 5 pods arced across the blue sky, with one noticeably ahead of the rest, before landing in various locations across it.

Another planet had a singular pod slam into the center of a bustling city before opening, exposing the occupant to the full moon.

All across the northern quadrant of the Universe, on planets all around, scenes like these repeat over and over again as the Saiyan Race, which many would believe to have died out when the "meteor" collided with its home planet, breathed once more.
