Based back in the Alveraz Empire arc
As she looked around, she spotted a familiar figure walking her way accompanied by another. She squinted to get a better look and gasped as she recognised the tall, lean man with charcoal hair. She stood up, still wobbly on her feet. She hated that she was still weak, but it was a tough battle, mentally and physically.
She smiled at the two people walking her way, but a wave of sadness hit her knowing what Gray had attempted to do. Her smile faltered and tears stung in the back of her eyes.
Gray approached her, with Lucy hanging back. As he strode closer, Juvia flung herself at him, tears streaming down her face and onto his bare chest. "How could you Gray-sama?!" Her harsh tone surprised him but he knew she was going to be upset once she heard.
"How could you leave us? How could you leave me?"
Gray sighed at her reaction. "Hey hey, look, Juvia I'm sorry. But you have to understand the reasons I did it."
Juvia tried to look at him, but the world seemed to swim around blurring the black and greys together.
She had her head pressed to his chest, arms wrapped tight around him, never letting go.
She couldn't bear to lose him, not again.
"Hey, Juvia, come on…"
She raised her gaze slowly, finally meeting the stone-coloured eyes framed by long eyelashes
"I gave my life to save you…" Her voice cracked as she whispered to him. "..and then you went and tried to throw it away."
