Narrator POV
Two years have passed since Charlotte was taken by Ulmo, and Emma's parents have decided that they want to travel the world. They want Emma to just uproot her life and take off with them. Emma goes to the beach for a swim to blow off some steam. As she is heading in the direction of Mako Island she hears a familiar voice coming from the water saying.
Emma daughter of the sea I am here to offer you the opportunity to come to Arda, and live in my ocean instead of having to hide who you are in the confines of a boat.
Emma thinks this over, and says.
Can I bring my love with me?
Only sea children may come to Arda. If he is a sea child then all you must do is hold his hand while I am moving you to the sea on Arda.
I accept, but can you please wait until after the full moon sets tomorrow morning.
I can; The timing will be extremely close. You and your love must be swimming in the sea holding hands no later than one hour after the moon sets.
I understand Ulmo; Thank you for giving me a choice about how my life is to be uprooted.

Emma swims back the way she came, pulls herself up onto the beach, drys herself off, and goes in search of Ash.
When she gets to the Juice-net Cafe she finds Ash finishing up his shift. After punching out Ash sees her waiting patiently for him. He walks up to her, and says.
"Hey Emma." Ash
"Hey Ash. Can I chat to you in private?" Emma
"Sure thing." Ash
Emma and Ash begin walking in the direction of the dock where Lewis moors his boat. As they are walking Ash says.
"So Emma what did you want to talk to me about? If this is about your secret; I already told you that I am fine with it." Ash
"No it's not about that entirely. You see my parents are going to travel the world on an extended holiday, they want me to just drop everything, and go with them. Fortunately I have been offered an alternative which I have accepted, and I am wondering if you want to come with me." Emma
Ash doesn't respond right away instead he gets a pensive look on his face while he thinks over everything he has just been told. While Ash is thinking over his options Emma texts Lewis asking him to meet her at the dock where he moors his boat. By the time he has finished thinking over all of his options Lewis is walking over to them. Ash has come to the conclusion that he can't face the prospect of living in a world that doesn't have Emma in it. So he agrees to go with her, and they will build a new life together. Emma tells Lewis that the three of them are going to be camping at Mako island tonight. When he asks why Emma tells him what Ulmo said, and he agrees to help them.
Lewis goes and gets the camping gear he bought for the girls for the camping trip that full moon while Charlotte was still here. He also grabs an extra tent for himself while he is at it. When all of the stuff is loaded into the boat the three of them head to Mako for their camping trip. Lewis is sad that another one of his friends is about to be taken by Ulmo, but he knows that Emma has made the right decision in joining Charlotte on Arda. When they get to the island they make sure that the boat is thoroughly beached, and head out in search of a good camping spot. After finding one they set up camp, and go back to the beach to enjoy themselves before it is time to head over to the land entrance to the moonpool. After having a fun time at the beach the sun looks like it is getting ready to set, and everybody starts heading back to camp. When they get there supper is cooked, and eaten while they are waiting for sunset. After supper the sun begins to set, and Emma takes Ash's hand. She begins going in the direction of the land entrance. By the time they make it to the cavern containing the moonpool the moon is about to pass over. Ash looks at Emma, and gets into the pool. Within moments the moon is visible through the cone of the volcano. Ash looks up, and sees that the moon is directly overhead. By the time he looks away from the beautiful moon it has passed from sight, and the pool is completely still. Emma gets in the water with Ash, and the two swim out heading to the beach near their campsite. When they get out Emma steam dries them, and they return to camp.
The next morning the three of them head to the beach to see if it worked so that Ash can go with Emma to Arda. Ash wades out into the shallows. Ten seconds later he is lieing on his front facing the ocean with a blue tail. Emma and Lewis look at each other with smiles on their faces. Emma runs up to Ash, and says.
"Let's goes for a swim." Emma
"Sounds like fun." Ash
By this time Emma is transformed, and laying next to him. Emma and Ash wave goodbye to Lewis before taking off into the sea. Lewis knows that it is going to be a long time before he will see them again, but he is fine with it because he knows that they are happy. Now all he has to do is tell Cleo and Rikki about what has happened. Lewis packs up camp, and heads back to his boat. Once all of the stuff is packed away in the boat Lewis returns to the mainland. After making it to the dock where he moors his boat he sees his girlfriend and friend waiting for him. When he has secured his boat they walk up to him, and say.
"Hey Lewis have you seen Emma we've been texting her all morning." Cleo
Lewis sighs, and says.
"Guys can we go somewhere more private to discuss this please?" Lewis.
"Of coarse we can Lewis lead the way." Cleo
Cleo and Rikki follow Lewis as he heads in the direction of his favourite fishing spot.
Meanwhile Emma and Ash are swimming around, and exploring the reef waiting for Ulmo to take them. About an hour into their swim they hear a voice coming out of the sea that only Emma recognizes. The voice says.
Emma daughter of the sea it is time.
Emma immediately takes Ash's hand, and the pair continue to swim when a bright light surrounds them. The next thing they know they are in a completely unfamiliar ocean. They look around, and see Charlotte swimming with a content but sad look on her face. Emma and Ash swim up to her, and say.
Charlotte it is so good to see you again. - Emma
Emma you're here, and you brought your boyfriend with you. You have no idea how happy this makes me. - Charlotte
Emma smiles at Charlotte, and looks at Ash who says.
Charlotte do you know somewhere in the sea where we can build our lives back up to a sense of normalcy. - Ash
I do actually. Follow me I know just the place. - Charlotte
Ash and Emma follow Charlotte to their future home.
Back on Earth Cleo, Lewis, and Rikki arrive at Lewis's favourite fishing spot, and they all sit down waiting to hear the important news about Emma. Rikki crosses her arms, and says.
"Ok Lewis spill." Rikki
"Emma was taken by Ulmo." Lewis
"What!" Rikki
"Ash is going to be so heart broken that she is gone." Cleo
"No he won't, because Emma turned him and took him with her." Lewis
"Oh." Cleo
Rikki, Cleo, and Lewis take some time to contemplate the fact that their friend is gone, and she is never coming back. Just when everybody is getting really upset Cleo thinks of something, and says.
"What are we going to tell Emma and Ash's parents? They must be so worried that they are gone, and we know that they are gone forever." Cleo
"We can't tell them anything Cleo. It's just to dangerous all things considered." Rikki
"How can we tell them that they were taken to another dimension by a sea god without exposing you guys?" Lewis
"Your right. There is nothing that we can do." Cleo
The friends go back to morning the loss of their friend no matter how temporary or permanent the loss may be. Lewis goes fishing to get rid of the stress, but he knows that the heartache will not go away until he sees his friends again.
Back on Arda Emma and Ash are following Charlotte to the place where they will make a home, and raise a family. After hours of power swimming Charlotte comes to a stop, and says.
My friends welcome to Númenor. - Charlotte
Wow it's a sunken city. - Emma
It could use some fixing up, but this is the perfect place for us to call home. - Ash
Thanks Ash. So where do we start to make this place livable again. - Charlotte
Well first we need a full tally of all the damage that the city has sustained. Then we need to inventory all the supplies that we have available. - Ash
I've got the damage assessment Charlotte can handle taking inventory of the supplies. - Emma
No problem Em. - Charlotte
Now that that's taken care of I'll scout out the surrounding area. - Ash
With a nod everybody leaves to carry out their assigned tasks. Ash returns from scouting when he sees Emma and Charlotte waiting for him. After hearing their reports Ash thinks over everything that needs
to be done. Ash looks at his girlfriend, and his friend then says.
We need to remove the water from the buildings while leaving it outside to make the work easier. The rest of us will then begin making repairs. - Ash
I've been training with my powers; So I'll handle the water. - Charlotte
Ash nods, and watches as Charlotte swims up above the city. She begins moving the water with both of her hands, and the water removes itself from all of the buildings while remaining pressed up against the outside of the buildings.
Emma and Ash begin repairing the damaged buildings that were thankfully not damaged beyond recognition. It takes them a total of two years to completely restore the city. Emma notices how tired Charlotte is, and says.
Ulmo we need your help desperately.
What is it Emma daughter of the sea?
It's Charlotte! She's exhausting herself stopping the water from destroying our home. I am so worried for her health.
I will place a protective barrier around the buildings so that Charlotte may rest.
Thank you so much Ulmo.
You are welcome Emma daughter of the sea.
Emma watches as all of the buildings in the city begin to glow dark blue. Charlotte notices this, and immediately stops holding onto the water. The moment she does Charlotte loses consciousness from exhaustion. Emma power swims Charlotte to the surface so she can recover while breathing in the fresh sea air. It takes awhile but Charlotte begins to wake up. Emma notices this, and says.
"Charlotte are you okay? Please wake up Charlotte." Emma
Charlotte opens her eyes, and says.
"I'm up Emma. Everything is just fine." Charlotte
"I'm so glad you're okay Charlotte. I was really worried about your health." Emma
"I'm sorry for over doing it so badly that I passed out." Charlotte
"Don't ever do that again! You scared me and Ash when you fainted." Emma
Charlotte looks like she is about to cry when Emma pulls her into the warmest hug that Charlotte has ever had the pleasure of having. They smile, and dive back down to get back to work. It won't take to much longer to make the city fit for habitation once more. Charlotte plans to tell her friends about her life in Lothlorien, and her father as soon all of the work is finally finished. Charlotte leaves the city, and asks the Maiar of Ulmo if they can keep the buildings filled with breathable air. The Maiar agree, and are happy to see that there are people who will be living in their realm after so many long years spent alone.
After the agreement is made Charlotte returns to the city to help her friends with the rest of the restoration work. In the evening before bed Charlotte begins telling her friends all about her life, and the people that she has met. While her friends are happy that Charlotte has a home and family on land they know that this means she will have to leave them at some point, and they are not looking forward to when that happens. In the mean time Emma and Ash are going to spend as much time as they can enjoying Charlotte's company. Charlotte knows that she can't spend much more time in Númenor with her friends so Charlotte spends the next week making sure that all of the restoration work is done, and her friends are settled and happy before returning to Lothlorien the following day after some very tearful good byes.
Since she moved into the retirement village, and the girls stopped coming to see her Miss Chatham has found her life to be extremely lonely. Miss Chatham notices that the full moon is going to rise tonight so Louise decides to go to Mako island to see if she can get her tail back. Louise hopes that if she is a mermaid again then the sea will wash away her loneliness. Miss Chatham checks herself out of the retirement village, hires a boat, and then goes to Mako island on said boat. By the time she gets there it is night, and the moon will soon pass over the island. Louise gets to the moonpool, and jumps in by the time the moon is over the pool. Louise stays in the pool until the moon has passed over the cone of the volcano, and is completely out of sight. Louise gets out of the pool, and falls asleep on the sand. The next morning Louise gets in the pool, and is pleased to see that she has her tail back. Louise goes for a swim in the ocean hoping to enjoy all the sights that she got to see when she was young. An hour into her swim Louise hears a voice she has never heard before coming out of the sea saying.
Louise daughter of the sea I have come to offer you the chance to come live in my ocean so that you may look after the young ones as they are building new lives for themselves.

I am Ulmo the Vala of the sea from Arda. What is your answer Louise daughter of the sea?
I accept your generous offer Ulmo god of the sea.
Very well I shall move you to the sea on Arda just outside of the city where the young ones are living.

Ulmo moves Louise Chatham to the sea on Arda right outside of the city of Númenor.
Back on Earth Cleo had been swimming, and she witnessed the whole thing. Cleo swims back to shore, and calls Lewis and Rikki asking them to meet her at Lewis' favourite fishing spot. When Lewis and Rikki arrive Rikki crosses her arms, and says.
"Ok Cleo spill. What was so important that we had to have an emergency meeting." Rikki
"I went for an early morning swim when I saw Miss Chatham who had apparently turned herself back into a child of the sea." Cleo
"Ok then we just need to find her and make sure she is alright." Rikki
"No you don't understand. An hour into our swim Miss Chatham was taken by Ulmo." Cleo
"Ulmo took Miss Chatham the way he took Charlotte, and then Emma and Ash. It's almost as if he is taking anyone who has been touched by the moonpool." Lewis.
"I agree with Lewis this can't be a coincidence." Rikki
"What should we do?" Rikki
"There is nothing we can do, but hope that Miss Chatham is with Charlotte, Emma, and Ash." Lewis
"Lewis is right all we can do is hope that Miss Chatham is with everybody else that has been taken by Ulmo." Cleo
