My Little Pony: Equestrian Girls/Sodor On Vacation

Season 6: New Face of Villainy
Episode 4 (86): Steam Villain Alliance
In Canterlot, the girls were given privilege to show the Steam Team what makes Canterlot High the best school around. Since Sunset has shown Thomas the insides of the school before, there's not much to say.
Sunset Shimmer: I'm pretty sure you guys have been to the courtyard of the school, where the focal point of it is its iconic statue, along with housing the portal from here to Equestria. It once had a horse statue, though with the events of Midnight Sparkle destroyed the statue, leaving this pedestal right here, no offense Twilight.
Twilight Sparkle: None taken Sunset.
Nia: I would love to see what the horse looked at.
Pinkie Pie: Ooh, I got a picture of it.
She showed Nia a picture of the horse statue standing over the pedestal.
Rarity: It was good around its time, before its destruction, but the school is considering rebuilding it, just don't know when.
Toby: Well, whatever not there or there, I'll be looking forward to seeing it.
They head inside the school, they entered the main lobby which consisted of two trophy cases from the past students the school has, along with a hallway with lockers.
Sunset Shimmer: This is the main lobby, a few of the students usually hang around here before and after class, along with two trophy cases which some of the past students had won, whether in regards of sports, grades and so on.
Rainbow Dash: To which I can say that I've have a few trophies around these cases somewhere.
Applejack: Hmph, probably some of them were put away in the storage bins.
Gordon: Whatever the case may be, I adore it. If I was to attend this school, I would excel in all things, sports.
Rainbow Dash: Yeah, good luck trying to beat my personal record.
Gordon: I'll take the challenge.
Applejack: (Sighs) Don't those two ever try not to get competitive with each other.
Rainbow Dash: Hey, we may still be competitive, but we don't always have to be, it's just some friendly banter, no harm done.
Applejack rolled her eyes as the tour continues. They tour the hallways that have different classrooms lined across.
Sunset Shimmer: Here, these hallways contain all sorts of classes complete with different subjects for the students to learn, whether it's reading, math, science, history, etc. all to their hearts' desires.
Fluttershy: I sometimes sneak a few of my animals here, in case they need my attention. I remember one time where I had some birds help me with a complex worksheet.
Starlight Glimmer: You're kidding, did someone call you out for that.
Fluttershy: Well, Trixie did try to call me out for cheating, but even she didn't get to stop me from showing them how I answered the problem.
Emily: Wow, doesn't surprise on how Trixie can scheme her way to get you guys in trouble, although not always.
Sunset Shimmer: Yes, Trixie, may be scheming but she means well when she helps us, like the time she helped us take back the school from Diesel and his buddies.
Spike: And she has our respect throughout this time.
Henry: Wow, what a sight to see of Trixie's character. I'm just glad we didn't meet the sneaky part of Trixie.
Percy: Believe me, I hate to see her get mad.
Twilight Sparkle: You know what's weird, I've seen sightings of her hanging out with Oliver.
Percy: Umm…
Twilight Sparkle: The Oliver that Douglas saved from scrap.
Percy: Oh.
James: Wait, our Oliver, now there's something you don't hear every day, Trixie having the hots for Oliver.
Fluttershy: Now we have seen some of my friends crushing on your friends during our walks around town, like Derpy hanging out with Billy.
Rebecca: The buck-toothed guy, well, when you look at it, it makes some sense, I mean, Derpy's cross-eyed and Billy has buck teeth.
Applejack: Octavia hanging out with Derek.
Henry: Okay, now that's unexpected.
Twilight Sparkle: Even some of our Crystal Prep friends are hanging out with them, like we already confirmed that Sour Sweet likes Ryan, Pinkie mentioned to me on Charlie liking Lemon Zest, and now, Indigo Zap likes Stanley and Sunny Flare likes Arthur.
Sunset Shimmer: Wow, seems as though there are more couples popping up by the day.
Rainbow Dash: Not just that, I've seen your ex-boyfriend, Flash having the hots for the shy girl Molly.
Sunset Shimmer: Really, hmm, I'll have to congratulate him at some point. But that'll be for another day, let's continue the tour.
Sunset and the girls took the Steam Team to the cafeteria, the largest areas of the school, filled with a lot of tables, the walls were lined with flags bearing the Wondercolts logo, the schools' logo and the sports played by the school's teams.
Sunset Shimmer: This is the cafeteria, the largest place in the entire school, I'm pretty sure if all of us were to come here, we'll find a big enough table for all of us to sit in.
Percy: You got that right, just think of the amount of food this place brings out, just thinking about it makes me hungry.
Pinkie Pie: Here you go, I snagged a muffin from Derpy's muffin stand at the lobby.
Percy: Wow, thanks Pinkie, you're the best. (Kisses her cheek)
Pinkie Pie: No problem Percy.
Sunset Shimmer: (Chuckles) Well, I can see you two over there really like the cafeteria. So, onto the next spot, back to the lobby.
She took them to Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna's office, where for Celestia, features her desk, two bookcases, a calendar and a gallery featuring the princesses of the past Fall Formals, and maybe their dances. Outside the office, the door has a moon symbol and a reception area. In Luna's office, features her desk, a bookcase, a set of drawers, a chalk notice board and a painting of the night sky.
Sunset Shimmer: These two you're seeing right now, is Principal Celestia's and Vice Principal Luna's office, usually located around the center point of the school. Who knows what they may be planning there, special occasions, field trips, dances. Oh, I forgot about how I treated everyone so poorly at the last Fall Formal, but I'm sure you all support me, right Thomas. Thomas?
She looked to see Thomas not speaking, in her head, she could tell that he was thinking about something.
Edward: I'll answer for Thomas, I'm sure your past mistakes will bring you down, but we're your friends and we support you to the very end.
Sunset Shimmer: Thanks Edward, it really means a lot to me. So, let's move on with the tour. (Thoughts) What's going on Thomas?
They head towards another area of the school, the gymnasium, it features a stage with at least two double-door entrances, windows similar to the Canterlot Castle ballroom and a supply closet for storing equipment and cleaning supplies.
Sunset Shimmer: This is the gymnasium, it has all different sports being played here, like basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, etc. A supply closet is over there where it's used to store sporting equipment and a spot where the janitor stores its cleaning equipment.
Rainbow Dash: This is my domain right here, if you guys have the guts to take me on in any sport, then you got another thing coming.
Gordon: I might be the one to offer a challenge.
James: Oh brother, all you two care about is challenging one another, admit it that Rainbow is faster than you.
Gordon: I beg to differ, I was about an inch away from her, so technically I still am the best at speed.
Rainbow Dash: (Sing-Song voice) We shall see.
Gordon: O' the Indignity.
The group laughed as they continue the tour, all the while Sunset is looking at Thomas wondering on what's going on in his head. They head to another area of the school, the library, which is two stories, contains a glass roof ceiling, shelves arranged in circles along the walls and the center point of the library is a computer area for students to use.
Sunset Shimmer: Over here is the library, and if you're like Twilight, then you're in Geeksville, like Twilight. (Chuckles) To which I'm kidding. But if you wanna have more learning whether its work or for different projects, you can go through the books if it helps or use the computers around the center to help with your research as well.
Edward: This could help me out really good if I need to expand my knowledge.
James: Oh, with Edward here in this place, he'll be a total nerd just like Twilight.
Twilight Sparkle: (Smirking) Is that a problem James.
James: N-No?
Twilight Sparkle: That's what I thought.
Edward: Don't try to talk too much smack James.
James: I get it.
Sunset Shimmer: Now that the library is covered, let's head out to another part of the school.
They head outside to the soccer pitch, consisting of two goal posts and bleachers.
Sunset Shimmer: Outside is the soccer pitch, every time there's a soccer event, the Wondercolts and Shadowbolts usually play here.
Gordon: Ha, I bet if I was part of the Wondercolts soccer team, I would blaze right past them.
Rainbow Dash: Well, that would be effective even if its cheating, you know, with the super speed and everything.
Gordon: O' the Indignity, well, I'll make sure not to use my super speed if I'm playing with you guys.
James: Please Rainbow, if you have Gordon on your team, not only he'll be the next fastest out of all of us but two, he'll win for your team regardless and it'll be a clean sweep against the Shadowbolts.
Applejack: That is kinda true.
Rainbow Dash: Like I need to remind you guys, he nearly caught up to me, so I'm still the fastest.
Sunset Shimmer: (Chuckles) Anyways, let's move on, there's really not much to the parking lot since Luna limits it to only school faculty.
So they went back to the school and head to another hallway where it had 4 rooms labeled with these: Computer lab & Science lab, Art room and Yearbook classroom.
Sunset Shimmer: Now these rooms have an interesting place in the school, the computer & science labs have helped some students out with their projects, the art room has helped with their students love for paint, I remember the time I painted a sunflower and Pinkie, well a little bit extra on her part, did me. (Chuckles sheepishly)
Pinkie Pie: Oh yeah I remember that, even if the result was a little messy.
Emily: Sounds like the art room would be perfect for me, I can paint some really beautiful pictures of almost anything I can think of at the top of my head.
Rarity: Oh, I'm thinking if I could paint some lovely gemstones, I know it's candy to my ears.
Spike: Maybe you should paint a dog model, like myself, hmm.
Rarity: Oh Spikey-wikey, you're just too adorable.
Henry: Yearbooks?
Sunset Shimmer: It's almost like a book of memories of everyone you've cherished and proud that you're both friends with them but the moments you guys have done over the years.
Percy: So it's basically like a book that holds records of every moment you guys cherished, a record book.
Applejack: Something like that.
Sunset Shimmer: Our last room, is where our band, the Rainbooms are born. Follow me.
So they head to the last room of the school, the Band room. Inside, the walls were decorated with music symbols such as treble clefs and staffs with notes on them. It also contained shelves with sheet music on it, a drum kit in the center, an electric keyboard plugged into the wall, and shelves holding various instruments including a saxophone, percussion instruments such as a tambourine and a pair of maracas, as well as an acoustic guitar hanging from a wall hanger and a triangle from the ceiling, along with some instruments on the floor like the conga drum and xylophone.
Percy: Hey, there's drums.
Pinkie Pie: You know it, I always make sure I get the beat off of these bad boys, and now you're my second who's playing the drums.
Edward: I see the keyboard, and I play it. Probably need some tuning up.
Twilight Sparkle: Leave it to me Edward, I can help make your keyboard play better in a flash.
Emily: There's an extra saxophone, hmm, I might need a little bit of practice with these for some key notes.
Nia: I see a tambourine, you and me Fluttershy play the tambourine.
Fluttershy: You got that right Nia, I sometimes play it here if I need some quiet time.
James: I see a guitar, and I'm still rocking with the guitar I have here.
Rainbow Dash: If you want James, I can still teach you on how to master some more difficult notes for more rocking music we play.
James: Now that would be awesome Rainbow Dash.
Sunset Shimmer: I guess all of you like the band room, here, we girls usually practice and play our instruments, almost every time we don't have class, it's good for socializing, chatting and just all around fun. And if you guys are accepted into the school, you could join us in the band room and play your instruments along with ours.
Rainbow Dash: Now that would be awesome!
The others acknowledged of the fact that they'll play their instruments alongside the Rainbooms, and if lucky, they could play with them in their concerts. But that's when Sunset noticed Thomas still not saying a word, with his arms crossed, to which she could make out that he's thinking about something.
Sunset Shimmer: Hey guys, have you been seeing how Thomas is acting, it's not like him.
Gordon: We have, we tried talking to him, but he hasn't responded to us.
Percy: I try seeing if I can snap him out of it, but no dice. He's really thinking about something.
Sunset Shimmer: Let me try talking to him.
So she walked over to Thomas, and tapped his shoulder.
Sunset Shimmer: Thomas, are you okay?
Thomas: Huh, y-yeah, I'm okay.
Sunset Shimmer: You haven't spoken a word ever since the tour.
Thomas: Sorry if I'm being a little distant lately, but I've been thinking.
Sunset Shimmer: Thinking about what? (Thoughts) I hope it's not about our relationship.
Thomas: I've been thinking a lot about Equestria.
Sunset Shimmer: Oh. (Thoughts) Well, that's a relief. (Reality) Why are you thinking about Equestria Thomas.
The others were curious about why Thomas is thinking about Equestria.
Thomas: I feel like it might need us again.
Nia: Why do you say that Thomas?
James: Yeah, when we came to Equestria, we have to defeat an entire hive of changelings and Chrysalis herself, well a rogue hive that is. Though I still can't even believe I have to fight a bunch of ugly, bug-like ponies.
Emily: Yes, James is right, we beat the changelings, what else in Equestria that could make us want to return.
Thomas: You know the saying, if they cut off one head, two more shall take its place. I think that someone might become the next big bad we have to deal in Equestria, and something tells me that big bad, isn't going to be anywhere as easy as Chrysalis, even if we're outmatched by her power, what makes it say that the next one would be even more powerful.
Twilight Sparkle: He does have a point, there's a whole of supervillains who are crazy overpowered or even godly in some cases, you guys are really gonna have your hands full dealing with them, needless to say, you guys have a lot to watch out from.
Rainbow Dash: Not only that, but Thomas, Emily, Rebecca, Nia and Gordon all have their second powers, you guys need to have your own.
James: She's right, with me, Henry, Edward, Toby and Percy not having our second powers, we're gonna be beaten.
Toby: We just need to be cautious on our approach in case we do encounter them.
Thomas: I just hope I don't make a mistake and hurt you guys when we do get to Equestria
Percy, Toby, Edward and Sunset could see that Thomas is worried for his friends, so they walked over to him. Sunset placed her hand on his shoulder.
Sunset Shimmer: It's gonna be okay Thomas, you have all of us here to support you.
Percy: Yeah, don't worry about it broski, you have all of us here to support you all the way. No matter what the circumstances are.
Edward: Percy's right Thomas, all of us, we'll be right by your side Thomas.
Toby: We support you as our leader, and we won't let you down no matter if we're less powerful than the others.
Thomas: Thanks you guys, it really means a lot to me.
Sunset Shimmer: You're welcome Thomas, we just wanna make sure you're okay. (Kissed his cheek)
Thomas smiled knowing that is friends are with him all the way. Meanwhile, in Equestria, the Pony 6 were doing duties for the princesses while they're away. At the Crystal Mirror, a hoof appeared out of the mirror and emerged King Sombra.
King Sombra: Ahh, so much better to be back in my own hooves, of course I don't mind being a so-called "engine", but it's nothing to worry about right now, we must head to this Diesel 10, whoever he is.
Spencer: You're looking for Diesel 10, I sensed he's somewhere in this direction.
Stepping out of the portal was Hurricane, Frankie and Spencer in their pony forms.
- Hurricane' fur is reddish brown, with black around his hooves and tail. His mane is yellow that's spiked up. His cutie mark is a stream of sparks, he's an Earth pony.
- Frankie' fur is blue-green, with black around her hooves and tail. Her mane is pink with some covering one of her eyes. Her cutie mark is a grinding saw, she's a unicorn
- Spencer' fur is silver as well as his wings, with grey around his hooves. His mane is black that's slid back and the same for his tail. His cutie mark is a polish shine, he's a Pegasus.
Hurricane: Whoa, so not used to this form.
King Sombra: Your first time coming here?
Frankie: Yes, we've never been to this Equestria, so this is our first time.
King Sombra: Fair enough, now care to tell me who is this Diesel 10 you speak of.
Spencer: As far as I know, Diesel 10 was the most powerful diesel Sodor has ever known, capable of crushing his enemies with one snap of his claw which he dubbed Pinchy, don't ask me how he got that name. But after some time when Lady came in, the engine in charge of taking care of the most powerful known area around Sodor, the Magic Railroad. There, he grew more power hungry and wanted the Gold Dust which powers the railway. He tried to have the Gold Dust, but was stopped by her and Thomas, as well as the rest of the Steam Team, there he vanished without a trace.
King Sombra: Hmm, I see, well, wherever he is, I want to have a word with him.
Diesel: (Telepathically) If you're looking for Diesel 10, then you must come with me.
King Sombra: Who said that.
Diesel: (Telepathically) I did, if you're looking for Diesel 10, head to the Castle of the Two Sisters, and you'll find him.
King Sombra: Very well then, we'll go there this instant. Come along you all, we have someone important to meet.
So Sombra, Hurricane, Frankie and Spencer, with his wings flew with them, as they head to the Castle of the Two Sisters. It was a trek but they arrived at the castle.
King Sombra: Hmm, this used to be old and rundown when I first came here, they must've modified it.
They near the door as it opened, revealing Diesel.
Diesel: So you must be Sombra.
King Sombra: Indeed, I am, who are you, I didn't know they were more alicorns here, and you're not royal material.
Diesel: Yes, quite, well to tell you the truth, I'm not from Equestria.
King Sombra: Oh, and where are you from?
Diesel: Sodor, I was a diesel engine.
King Sombra: That island again, well, it never ceases to amaze me.
Diesel: Believe me, there's more to Sodor than meets the eye, come on, there's some guests you need to see.
Sombra walked through, until Diesel eyed Spencer, Hurricane and Frankie.
Diesel: Never thought I see the likes of you guys here.
Spencer: We see to it that we're on the winning side.
Diesel: A smart move Spencer, you and your Steelworks friends would be excellent additions to our army.
Spencer, Frankie and Hurricane walk through the entrance of the castle as they follow Sombra, there they enter the throne room where they see a large brownish pony with dragon wings look at them.
Diesel 10: Well now, what do we have here?
King Sombra: So, you must be the so-called "Diesel 10", I must say you're very powerful indeed.
Diesel 10: (Chuckles evilly) Why thank you, I must say, it's an honor to meet you, what brings you here my friend.
King Sombra: I am King Sombra, former ruler of the Crystal Empire, and I've come back from my icy prison, back with some powerful allies to come and reclaim what's rightfully mine.
Queen Chrysalis: King Sombra! How dare you return to us, when you bailed and try to take Equestria all to yourself!
Cozy Glow: Though still devious, but foolish nonetheless.
Diesel 10: Enough, I assume you two know him.
Queen Chrysalis: Yes, we do, he was once with us before he bailed and try to conquer Equestria.
King Sombra: Yes, I know my arrogant self wants all of Equestria to myself, but I've changed for the better, and now see that with allies at my side, there's nothing else I would've dreamed of seeing Equestria conquered under our hooves.
Diesel 10: Interesting, so you want to help our conquest in taking over all of the selected realms I want to take over.
King Sombra: Indeed, with your help, it will make it all easier.
Diesel 10: Very well then Sombra, welcome to my army, since you know Chrysalis and Cozy, allow me to introduce you to the rest of my fleet, I'm sure Diesel has greeted you to our establishment.
King Sombra: Yes, and I appreciate for an ally such as Diesel for welcoming us to your army.
Diesel 10: You're most welcome, now, for the rest of my diesel fleet, are the Ironworks twins, Arry & Bert.
King Sombra: Hmm, interesting. These two brutes could be valuable bodyguards if you get what I'm saying.
Diesel 10: (Chuckles) I get what you're saying.
Bert: You hear that Arry, we could be possible bodyguards, now that's rockin' mate.
Arry: Indeed, Bert, bodyguards, sign me up.
Diesel 10: These two used to be my henchmen, but now serves Diesel, these are Splatter & Dodge.
King Sombra: I see, but your so-called henchmen have so much potential, that they haven't gotten a grasp of that.
Splatter: Wow, thanks Sombra.
Dodge: He sure seems like a nice guy.
Diesel 10: The next one of my diesel fleet is Bowler, otherwise known as Class 40, whichever name you prefer, but he's the strongest of the fleet.
King Sombra: Interesting, any luck you'll become even more stronger with more practice and fights, with any luck, you may become another bodyguard on my fleet.
Class 40: (Chuckles) I'll be looking forward to that.
Diesel 10: We also have the Dazzlings, which are a trio of siren girls, but they're currently in the human world awaiting our orders.
King Sombra: Hmm, I see, I've heard of those Sirens before, they try to feed off the ponies' negative energy in an old village, they nearly succeeded until the Pillars of Equestria used their combined magic to send them to another dimension, can't believe they actually survived in the human world of all places.
Diesel 10: Believe me, they are a remarkable trio. Now, the last but our most dangerous ally in our arsenal, this is Timothy the Ghost Engine, I'm sure you feel his power.
King Sombra: I most certainly do, for someone like you, you have extraordinary power. And with the right amount of persuasion, you'll use it really well.
Timothy: (Chuckles) Why thank you Sombra, and I have a feeling we'll be powerful allies, taking down our enemies and sending them straight to the foul pits of hell.
King Sombra: You and me both Timothy.
Diesel 10: And you three, Spencer, Hurricane & Frankie, you'll provide me valuable service for my army, show me that you can take down the Steam Team and the Rainbooms and I'll reward you with a spot on my army.
Spencer: We won't let you down Diesel 10.
Diesel 10: Excellent, from now on, you're known as the Steam Villain Alliance.
Spencer smiled as the trio left to another area of the castle, as they were leaving, Hurricane was hesitant.
Hurricane: Spencer, Frankie, look I know we have our duties on taking down Thomas, his friends and these Rainbooms, whoever they are, but don't you think this is going a little far.
Spencer: Hmm, we might, but we have to find them and destroy them, there's no going back now.
Frankie: Yeah Hurricane, you should know this by now, we can finally take our revenge against our enemies for ruining our work life.
Spencer: I'm sorry Hurricane, but this is the way it is, and we'll make sure our enemies will be terminated.
Spencer and Frankie walk away leaving Hurricane a little conflicted, but reluctant to follow the two. Meanwhile, in a glowing green, branchy tunnel, Lady and the Experimentals were traveling down the line.
Merlin: Oh my days, so this is the Magic Railroad.
Lady: Yes, it's where I draw its power, as well as me being its guardian. Every time I travel through these lines, I replenish the tracks with my Gold Dust, and my magic is replenished. But it can be manipulated into dark, twisted ways, it happened once and I don't want it to happen again.
Merlin: Oh my, let's hope it doesn't come to that Lady.
Lady: I hope so too Merlin, follow me, there's somewhere I want to show you.
Theo: W-W-What is it Lady.
Lady showed the Experimental Trio a set of switched tracks, one leading to Muffle Mountain, Equestria and to Canterlot.
Lexi: Which way do we go now Lady.
Lady: These switched tracks go to different parts of the world, this one leads to Muffle Mountain, where I was in hiding.
Theo: Y-Y-You were in hiding, in a mountain?
Lady: Yes, back then, I was in a terrible crash brought up by my old nemesis, Diesel 10. He was bent on destroying me and wanting to take all that power for himself to take over Sodor and destroy every last steam engine that's around here. Even while comatose, I tried so hard to figure out a way to stop him, but no success.
Lexi: Oh dear, that must've been really hard for you, what happened after that.
Lady: Well, (Chuckles), thanks to Thomas' mishap with the trucks, he brought in a truck that was filled with special coal that Henry uses whenever he's ill to Muffle Mountain. It was all thanks to him that Patch, Lily and Burnett Stone, my caretaker at the time, work together to start me up with special coal and it worked, I was back up and running, giving my power to heal the Magic Railroad, and that's how you guys see me right now.
Theo: W-W-Wow, Thomas really did save you, that must've been one heck of an adventure.
Lady: (Blushes) It sure was, and I thank Thomas for all he's done for me, which after Diesel 10's defeat, I have him as my student, teaching him all about my powers, the Magic Railroad, Gold Dust. After time, he became Sodor's guardian and protector of the Magic Railroad.
Merlin: Now that Lady is a wondrous tale, your knight in shining armor saving you, a damsel in distress, from an evil tyrant bent on destroying the kingdom.
Lady: (Chuckles) Well, when you put it that way, it does make some sense. But daydreaming will have to wait, you guys must go down the third switch track, there you'll find Thomas.
She then went down the second switch track.
Lexi: Where are you going?
Lady: I'm heading to Equestria, because I'm helping the princesses that live there, prepare for another fight on their hooves, another force of evil is about to head its way over here, and that force of evil will transition to Canterlot, which is on the third switch track. Find Thomas, warn his friends and prepare yourselves, because they're gonna be in for the fight of their lives.
Merlin: We won't let you down Princess Lady, we'll rally our will and our might to find Thomas and help aid you in stopping this evil, you can count on us knights.
Theo: K-K-Knights?
Lady: Thank you my friends, and good luck on your daring quest.
She then continued her way until she disappeared, leaving Lexi, Merlin and Theo at the switch.
Lexi: Should we tell her that we saw Hurricane, Frankie and Spencer possessed by some black engine or has she figured it out.
