Season 6: New Face of Villainy
Episode 6 (88): Equestrian Magic vs. Sodor Magic
The day has been going smoothly ever since the Battle of the Bands, no not that Battle of the Bands, anyway, around the halfway mark of the afternoon, Sunset stepped out of the school as she heads to her motorcycle. She has a list of items that she needs to pick up for her friends, just as she hopped onto her bike, she heard a familiar voice.
Thomas: Going somewhere Sunny.
Sunset Shimmer: Oh Thomas, you startled me.
Thomas: (Chuckles) Sorry, can't help it.
Sunset Shimmer: Oh, just you wait, I'll get you back for it.
Thomas: Yeah, sure, anyway, what are you up to?
Sunset Shimmer: The girls asked me to get some supplies for them, I'm heading to town to see if they have them, do you want to come along, it could be fun.
Thomas: I've always wanted some excitement, so why not, at least it'll let me hang out with the most beautiful girl in the world.
Sunset Shimmer: (Blushes) Aww, stop, you're making me blush, but yeah, I am the most beautiful girl in your eyes. (Kissed his cheek)
Thomas smiled and followed Sunset to her motorcycle, he climbed on the bike and sat behind Sunset as he wrapped his arms around her waist, as well as putting his helmet that Sunset gave. She smiled from underneath her helmet as she drove off to town. After a while, they've gotten a couple of things for the girls
They got brushes, makeup and eyeshadow for Rarity.
They got confetti cannons, cake batter & party decorations for Pinkie.
They got running shoes for Rainbow.
They got shovels, fertilizer & buckets for Applejack.
Sunset Shimmer: You sure you can manage the fertilizer.
Thomas: Please, at least it's sealed so that way I won't have to smell it, I can imagine it being as bad as the garbage Whiff takes to the dump.
Sunset Shimmer: (Giggles) Consider yourself lucky, the fertilizer Applejack wants is the good stuff, and it stinks.
Thomas: I can believe it, by the way, what's the running shoes for?
Sunset Shimmer: Rainbow Dash needed a new pair of shoes after her old pair got burnt out from her speed.
Thomas: Totally understandable.
Sunset Shimmer: Rarity needed some more beauty products to expand her makeup line, in case she needs it for a big party or some other celebration, and speaking of parties, Pinkie needed some extra cake batter cause the bakery ran out of batter, along with a few extra party decorations.
Thomas: And I assume Fluttershy needs some pet food and Twilight need some gizmos and parts for her tech right.
Sunset Shimmer: Hey, you're pretty smart, nice job.
Thomas: (Blushes) Thanks.
Suddenly, they bump into a man wearing a wizard hat, luckily, they managed to hang onto their items.
Merlin: Oh, I'm so sorry you two, I didn't watch where I was going.
Thomas: Wait, I know that voice. Merlin?
Merlin: Thomas?
Thomas: Dude, what are you doing here?
Merlin: Oh Thomas, you have no idea of the journey me and my fellow knights have been through, we came here in search of you.
Thomas: Fellow knights? Wait, Lexi & Theo are here too.
Merlin: Indeed, they are.
Sunset Shimmer: Wait, Thomas, do you know this guy.
Thomas: Yes, Sunset, this is my friend from the mainland Merlin, he's part of a team known as the Experimentals, basically the oddball of the Sodor forces.
Sunset Shimmer: I can see that, so what brings you here Merlin?
Merlin: Oh, me and my knights are on a quest to find Thomas and his friends, and tell them some troubling news.
Thomas: What sort of troubling news?
Merlin: We need everyone to hear us out, where are they exactly.
Sunset Shimmer: They're at Canterlot High.
Merlin: I remember, that's the building the three of us saw, I think Lexi & Theo were left there.
Thomas: Then we have no time to loose, let's get to Canterlot High and find the others.
Sunset Shimmer: Wait, one moment.
She heads into the shops and picked out two bags filled with more items.
She got pet shampoo, dog food & treats for Fluttershy.
She got screwdrivers, computer chips and hard drives for Twilight.
Sunset Shimmer: Can't forget about these.
Thomas: Merlin, we'll meet you at the school. Could you carry a few of our bags and head over there, we'll meet you there.
Merlin: Certainly Thomas, I'll meet you at the great Canterlot High.
He took the bags carrying Fluttershy's & Applejack's items and walked off towards Canterlot High. Sunset & Thomas walked towards her motorcycle.
Sunset Shimmer: I honestly didn't expect you knowing someone like Merlin, and along with that, Lexi & Theo, where did you find these guys.
Thomas: Yes, I'll admit they're a weird bunch, but they've helped out on so many different ways, they helped save James from Hurricane & Frankie, those two worked at a Steelworks on the mainland, and they kept me from leaving and having me work in these hot conditions. Thanks to them, we managed to resolve their situation and have the Experimentals aid them with their deliveries.
Sunset Shimmer: That must've been really scary for you, being kept a prisoner at a hot and steamy building under the watchful eye of those two.
Thomas: Yeah, but I'm glad to be back home.
Sunset Shimmer: And I'm glad you're home, and in my life. (Kissed him)
They put on their helmets and raced off to the school. Meanwhile, in the courtyard, the rest of the Steam Team & Rainbooms along with Starlight were waiting for Sunset & Thomas to arrive from town. James could see that someone is coming, and he couldn't believe what he's seeing, Merlin.
James: Merlin!
Merlin: Oh, hello Sir James, and to all you Sodor folk, it's been a long time since we've seen each other.
Henry: James, who's he?
James: Oh boy, everyone, this is Merlin, he's one of the experimental engines that is from the mainland, along with two others Lexi & Theo. He "claims" that he can turn invisible, Theo has autism and Lexi has multilingual or something like that.
Edward: I see; they must be really interesting.
James: Yeah, interesting is one way of talking about them.
Merlin: Yes, interesting is all they think about us, but all of our disabilities and unique features make us all special. Oh, also, I got these bags for Ms. Fluttershy & Ms. Applejack, I could be wrong.
Fluttershy: Nope, you got the names right Merlin. I'm Fluttershy and this is my friend Applejack.
Merlin: Well, that's a relief. And it's a pleasure meeting you two.
Both Applejack & Fluttershy got their bags from Merlin, after a minute, Sunset & Thomas arrived.
Rainbow Dash: Hey Sunset, did you get me those running shoes.
Sunset Shimmer: Indeed, I did.
Rainbow sped forward and took the box right out of her hands which surprised her.
Rainbow Dash: Alright, these are exactly the kind of shoes I ordered.
Gordon: Are those the shoes you were telling me about that burnt up.
Rainbow Dash: No, that's my old pair, I was running a lap run when my shoes suddenly catch fire from running too fast.
Applejack: (Chuckles) Oh Rainbow, can't help herself to a good run.
Rainbow Dash: Hey, I keep telling that I have to keep myself in good shape, no matter the circumstance.
Henry: She's got a point you know.
James: Yeah, yeah, we get that, but all I want to know is how did you, Lexi & Theo get here.
Merlin: Well, from that there portal, though how does it work exactly.
Starlight Glimmer: Well, this portal has very powerful magic that some Equestrians don't have a grasp on what it's capable of just yet. But, what we can figure out, is the portal from Equestria, Canterlot and the Magic Buffers have some sort of magical & transformation properties. Whenever an engine or a pony goes through the portal, the magic transforms them into the humans we are right now. It's a little confusing at first, but once you have a grasp at this, you'll understand it.
Merlin: I understand, some bits of it.
Thomas: Trust me, for first timers, it's a lot to take in.
Merlin: I'll take your word for it.
Gordon: Okay, now that we got that out of the way, what we wanna know is how did you get here.
Merlin: Well Sir Gordon, I, along with my friends, came here to find you all.
Edward: Your friends Merlin, where are they?
Merlin: Oh right, they're in a storage closet inside the school.
Fluttershy: Why are they inside the closet?
Merlin: I told them to stay inside until I came back with you guys.
Toby: Well, we better make sure they're okay.
The group walked in the school as Merlin approached the closet and opened it as Lexi & Theo pour out.
Theo: Phew, thank goodness we're out of there, any longer it might've smelled bad. Oh hello everyone.
James: These two are your friends Merlin?
Merlin: Yes, everyone, these are my friends Lexi & Theo.
Emily: So you guys are Thomas' friends when he was at the mainland.
Lexi: Indeed, you must be Emily, Thomas has been telling us so much about you guys. I must say, it's a pleasure to meet you all.
Rebecca: It's nice to meet you guys too.
Thomas: So what brings you guys here.
Merlin: There's some troubling news going on at Sodor, and its danger could be brought here to your world.
Percy: What…
Pinkie Pie: Is it the diesel threat all over again, Timothy's ghost coming back to ravage Sodor, Diesel 10's come back, what is it?!
Rarity: Whoa calm yourself darling, I'm sure they'll tell us what's going on.
Spike: I think she might be too high on sugar, no offense Pinkie.
Pinkie Pie: None taken Spike.
Merlin: No it's not one of those options, though I did hear that they brought in Spamcan & Crovan to help out.
Gordon: Crovan! That rude mongrel, why is he here?
Lexi: From what we know, he's only bringing in Sodor's leaders around Sodor for any big meetings they have, but he's not all bad.
Henry: Lexi's right Gordon, I mean, he's not as worse as Alfred.
Gordon: Yeah, but I still can't tolerate Crovan, I do have respect for him seeing how twisted and cruel his former friend is, but still can't tolerate his rude remarks sometimes.
Thomas: I think we're going a little off topic Gordon.
Sunset Shimmer: So what happened at Sodor.
Theo: Well, while we were shunting at Knapford Yards, we saw a strange black engine that's trailing black steam, I don't know for sure, but we saw it with Spencer, Hurricane & Frankie following behind.
Thomas: Wait, Spencer, Hurricane & Frankie?
Gordon: What's my devious cousin with someone as mysterious as that black engine you're describing.
Lexi: We don't know, but when we looked at their eyes, it wasn't normal, they have purple mists coming out of their eyes.
Sunset Shimmer: (Gasps) Wait, did you say purple mist coming out of their eyes.
Lexi: Yes, why?
Sunset Shimmer: Oh no, Equestria is in grave danger.
Twilight Sparkle: Why do you say that Sunset?
Sunset Shimmer: Because this is the work of one of Equestria's vilest villains to date the history books.
Gordon: Well, who is it, don't leave us in suspense.
Thomas: Cool it Gordon, she's getting there.
Sunset Shimmer: King Sombra.
Starlight Glimmer: Sombra?! I thought he was still imprisoned in the ice after his attempt to take over the Crystal Empire and Canterlot!
Sunset Shimmer: That's what I thought too, how is he free?
Henry: So who's King Sombra.
Starlight Glimmer: Sombra was once a ruler of the Crystal Empire, way before Cadence and Shining became the rulers of the empire. Overtime, he grew more dangerous, powerful, and more tyrannical to the Crystal Ponies. He began enslaving them to do his bidding, before Celestia & Luna stripped him of his royal title, turned him to dust and sealed him away in an icy chasm. Now that he's free, he'll keep conquering the Crystal Empire and all of Equestria until it's rightfully his.
Rarity: Oh, that's bad. Thomas, you did say that they had a personal grudge against you right.
Thomas: They do have vendettas against me in the past, but after that, they changed, besides Spencer, he still has a rivalry with Gordon.
Gordon: A rivalry I deeply emphasized.
Sunset Shimmer: Now that Sombra is free, he's controlling Spencer, Hurricane & Frankie making them his pawns.
Edward: So, all we need to do is to take down Sombra, restore their minds and free them from Sombra's control.
Gordon: Do we really need to have Spencer join us, after everything he's done.
Thomas: We know that Spencer can be a bit of a jerk, and I mean a big time jerk, but Spencer still means well.
Applejack: So now we have to save those three before they do something they'll regret.
James: That's if they decided to come here, what then?
Thomas: We'll be ready for them, for right now, we need to be ready whenever they decide to come destroy the place.
Sunset Shimmer: We can do that in the dojo, we can master our abilities and our weapons more to get much stronger if we're going to fight them. Umm, Merlin, Lexi & Theo, do you think you can aid us in fighting them.
Theo: F-F-Fighting them, oh I don't know about this.
Fluttershy: Oh, it's okay Theo, sure it may seem scary, but we all do it to help save the world from evil.
Twilight Sparkle: Fluttershy's right, you guys could help us in fighting them.
Lexi: Us, no, I don't think we can possibly help in a fight, I mean, we may just be punching bags getting in the way.
Merlin: But we can try, we'll try our very hardest to help you stop these vile villains.
Percy: Alright, let's head to the dojo and master our abilities.
Rainbow Dash: I wonder what their geode powers would be.
Merlin: Geodes?
Sunset Shimmer: Here, these are geodes. Magical rocks that when someone touches them, they transfer their power to that person and bonds with them. No matter where you go, your geode is always with you.
Lexi: Now those look beautiful, and fitting for any jewelers.
Rarity: Well, they do transform into fabulous necklaces.
Thomas: So, let's head on over to the dojo and begin our training.
So the group took the Experimentals with them in the Rainbooms' tour bus, and start their drive to the dojo. When they get there, they see Hiro approach the parking lot.
Hiro: (Chuckles) Well, isn't this a surprise.
Thomas: Hiro, it's been some time.
Hiro: Some time indeed, my friend, my former students, it's been ages since I've seen you guys, I hope my training has taught you well.
Sunset Shimmer: It has Hiro; your trainings have really helped us throughout so many challenges.
Hiro: (Chuckles) Is that so, well, I'm glad you all succeeded, and I see that you brought new friends, who are they Thomas.
Thomas: Hiro, these are our new friends from the mainland, Lexi, Theo & Merlin.
Hiro: Oh yes, I remember you three, I hear you helped my friend Thomas save James.
Merlin: Why yes, it was a team effort.
Hiro: (Chuckles) Well, I'm glad you guys are here, you're gonna be in for a surprise.
Lexi: Count on it, Master of the Railway.
Hiro: So, why the visit?
Sunset Shimmer: We came here to further our training, another threat is about to strike, and what's worse, Spencer, Hurricane & Frankie are coming here.
Hiro: Spencer, oh the trauma he's put me through, I'll never forgive him for that. Even if I respect him, I still don't like him.
Thomas: We all don't like him as much as anyone, but he doesn't deserve to be someone's puppet.
Hiro: Wait, Spencer is being controlled by someone.
Sunset Shimmer: Yes, an evil, tyrant king bent on making his rule his own, by enslaving every single pony, engine & person in our worlds. He once tried it with his former grounds, until the rulers of Equestria destroyed him and sealed him away in an ice chasm. But now, he's back, and is using Spencer, Hurricane & Frankie to spread disharmony and chaos, just so he can conquer our realms.
Hiro: Oh my, that is bad, well my friends, I want you to free Spencer, Hurricane & Frankie from Sombra's control and make sure he doesn't spread his power to all the realms.
Thomas: Already on it Hiro.
Twilight Sparkle: Wait, don't you have a plan for how to defeat Sombra, Thomas?
Thomas: (Stammers, groans) I don't! I don't have a plan on how to defeat Sombra since I know little on what Sombra is capable of, it's just hurting my brain just trying to think!
Thomas is having a panic attack, so he rushed over to a nearby tree and started pounding his head against the trunk.
Sunset Shimmer: Hey, hey, hey, take it easy. You guys go inside; I'll meet you over there.
Twilight Sparkle: Okay Sunset, we'll see you there.
Everyone walked inside the dojo while Sunset walked towards Thomas who was standing against the very tree he was bashing his head against, he wasn't happy.
Sunset Shimmer: Hey sweetie, are you okay?
Thomas: (Sighs) No, I'm not okay. Sombra is new to me, and even trying to come up with a plan to beat him, along with the fact that Spencer, Hurricane & Frankie are in the mix, it just brings so much pressure.
Sunset Shimmer: I know how it feels, but you have all of us here to support you.
Thomas: I hope so.
Sunset approached him and hugged Thomas to help comfort him.
Thomas: (Blushes) Thank you Sunset.
Sunset Shimmer: You're welcome Thomas. (Kissed his cheek)
Thomas couldn't help but smile, he enjoyed Sunset's company.
Sunset Shimmer: Come on, let's go join the others.
Thomas: Yeah, let's.
Sunset took his hand and together, they walked inside the dojo, with the others waiting for them.
Rainbow Dash: Took you guys long enough.
Sunset Shimmer: Hey, I understand what Thomas is going through and I have to be here to support him, don't you understand what Gordon's going through and have to be there to support him too?
Rainbow Dash: (Blushes) Umm, sometimes?
Sunset Shimmer: Thought so? (Playfully punches Rainbow's arm)
Thomas: Okay you guys, now it's time to present you your new geodes.
Merlin: Oh, now this is exciting, I wonder what my geode would be.
Sunset went in her bag of geodes and brought out a silver geode with a magician hat emblem inside it.
Thomas: Merlin, do you promise to use this geode for good and to fight all that is evil.
Merlin: By thy royal decree, I accept my new life as Canterlot's royal knight!
Thomas: Very well then, here's your geode.
Sunset handed Merlin his new geode, then something magical happened, the geode's power transferred over to Merlin. When it's done that, it levitated, formed a necklace chain and clipped it around his neck.
Merlin: Well, that sure was something.
Suddenly, his hands glow and magical circle glyphs appear as they rotate in a circle motion.
Applejack: Well, I'll be. He might actually be a wizard.
Merlin: Now this is spectacular, I can perform all sorts of magic spells, so many incantations, illusions and so many more.
James: Maybe his title should be "Sorcerer Supreme".
Twilight Sparkle: You're not wrong there James.
Thomas: Theo, do you promise to use this geode for good and to fight all that is evil.
Theo: I-I-I don't know if I'll be any good at this hero stuff.
Sunset Shimmer: Hey, I understand what you're saying, it can be scary not knowing what you're doing and what abilities you have that could be useful, but with friends and some guidance, you can achieve great things without you even knowing it, and like Merlin said, you can at least try.
Theo: (Sighs) Alright, I promise Thomas.
Thomas: Very well then, here's your geode.
Sunset handed Theo his new geode, then something magical happened, the geode's power transferred over to Theo. When it's done that, it levitated, formed a necklace chain and clipped it around his neck.
Theo: Okay, that was a new experience.
Suddenly, his hands glowed in a brown aura and that aura surrounded a pile of bricks and were slowly levitated from the ground. A big stack of bricks could weigh approximately 2,430 pounds, a quarter of a ton of bricks.
Theo: A-Am I lifting these bricks?
Rainbow Dash: That seems like it.
Rebecca: So now that Merlin has magic and Theo has telekinesis, I wonder what Lexi's power would be?
Lexi: Oh, I can't wait.
Thomas: Well, Lexi, do you promise to use this geode for good and to fight all that is evil.
Lexi: I'll use it to the best of my abilities and fight every single villain there is.
Thomas: Very well, here's your geode.
Sunset handed Lexi her new geode, then something magical happened, the geode's power transferred over to Lexi. When it's done that, it levitated, formed a necklace chain and clipped it around her neck.
Lexi: Ooh, that sure felt a little tingly.
Rarity: Lexi darling, did you receive any new powers.
Lexi Clone #1: (British) I say, she did receive her new powers, and we're liking this change.
Pinkie Pie: W-What just happened?!
Lexi Clone #2: (Southern) Well sissy, it seems as though our new powers maybe the result of duplication.
Starlight Glimmer: Duplication? Now that can be really handy since our enemies won't know who's the real you.
Lexi Clone #1: (British) A splendid idea if I do say so myself, now what are we lot standing around here, we should be ready for those whippersnappers to come in swinging.
Edward: Easy there, we can't just rush in without thinking things through, we need you guys to train and master fighting and your abilities.
Boco: I believe we can help with that.
They turned to see Boco, Stephen and Skarloey approached the group.
Edward: Hello Boco, what brings you guys here?
Skarloey: We're here to help your new friends be martial artists and master their abilities.
Lexi: You mean you'll help us train and fight.
Stephen: Indeed, it'll be an experience to train you guys, but I know you guys we'll do just fine.
Thomas: They're right, they are the best teachers for all of us.
Sunset Shimmer: Although you never seen the dojo during that "incident".
Thomas: Yeah, don't want to be reminded.
Gordon: So, are you three in or are you out.
Merlin: What are you saying Sir Gordon, of course we're in, we will train to our hearts content.
Boco: Very well Merlin, let's get training.
So the Experimentals walked with Boco, Stephen & Skarloey to start their training. Skarloey helped Theo with learning some martial arts from Kenpo, Judo, Taekwondo, Karate, etc. and helped master his new telekinetic abilities. Boco helped Merlin with learning some fighting skills along with mastering his magical abilities, along with performing some nifty spells and giving him a magic wand. Stephen helped Lexi with learning martial arts and even her clones got in on the action, even teaching her some sword skills by giving her a ninja sword. After a while, the Steam Team is waiting for the Experimentals to finish their training, and they're in luck, they walked out of the training booths.
Rainbow Dash: About time.
Thomas: How's the training?
Boco: They all performed wonderfully, they were a little rusty at first, but they quickly gained the upper hand. And as a bonus, Lexi has got herself her very own ninja sword.
Lexi: Thank you so much for the training Stephen, you truly have become a master of the martial arts.
Skarloey: You're most welcome Lexi, now my friends, it's time for you to practice some fighting skills, and you'll do that, by sparing each other.
Percy: A spar with them, this'll be easy.
Rarity: Oh, I don't know Percy, we do make a fine fighting force on our own department.
Thomas: Okay, let's put this to the test, we draw a hat and inside, it has a small slip of paper that has the name of who we're sparring.
Merlin: Now that's a good idea, let us use my wizard hat and with a quick spell.
He grabbed his hat, and twirled his wand as he activates a magic spell, it then popped out the paper slips.
Boco: Alright everyone, take a slip and we'll see who you're sparring.
They each grab a slip of paper, opened it up and see who they're fighting.
Gordon: I'm fighting the wizard!
Merlin: Marvelous, I'll look forward to sparring with you my brazen knight.
Gordon: O' the indignity.
Applejack: Looks like I got Henry.
Henry: Try to go on easy, even though I know you'll be going all out.
Applejack: I'll try my best partner.
James: Oh, you've got to be kidding me, I got your girlfriend Gordon.
Rainbow Dash: (Laughs) Looks like I'll school you in our sparring match.
James: (Sarcastically) Oh joy.
Toby: Looks like I'll be fighting you Theo.
Theo: Oh, I do hope I do well.
Toby: Don't worry Theo, I have confidence in you.
Emily: Well, looks like I'll be fighting you Sunset.
Sunset Shimmer: Just so you know, I won't be holding back, that's a promise.
Emily: I'll do the same, may the best girl win.
Fluttershy: Looks like I'll be fighting you Lexi.
Lexi: Don't show fear my friend, give me your best shot.
Fluttershy: I'll do my best.
Rebecca: Amazing, I get to spar with you Rarity.
Rarity: Indeed, I look forward to fighting you, I wanna see you at your best.
Rebecca: I won't let you down.
Thomas: Well now, I get to fight the very scientist of the Rainbooms.
Twilight Sparkle: I'm sure my high intellect and brains can get this fight done lickety-split, faster than you can imagine Thomas.
Thomas: (Chuckles) Oh, we'll see about that Twilight.
Percy: Well, looks like I'm sparring you Nia.
Nia: You're gonna need it since I have a big arsenal.
Percy: I'll stay on my toes.
Edward: Pinkie Pie? This should be interesting.
Pinkie Pie: Interesting is right Edward, we're gonna have so much fun!
Edward: I'm sure of it.
Starlight Glimmer: (Giggles, whispers to Edward) Knowing Pinkie, it's going to be one heck of an experience for you.
Hiro: Excellent, now that you all have your sparring partners, it's time to begin. First up, who should be the first to spar.
Gordon: I'll go Hiro, I wanna show them that I still got my LNER pride and show them just how strong I really am.
Hiro: Very well, Gordon and Merlin, get yourselves ready, you have a fight to start.
So the rest of the group backed away from the arena and head to the viewing area as they watch Gordon and Merlin begin their spar.
Hiro: Fight!
Before Gordon could throw a punch at Merlin, he spawned glittery smoke all over the arena, making it hard for the group and Gordon to see.
Rainbow Dash: Sheesh, and I thought Trixie's smokescreen is bad.
Twilight Sparkle: He's like a true magician.
Sunset Shimmer: Just don't tell Trixie that.
Gordon: I can hardly see a thing in this fog, where are you wizard!
Merlin: Oh, I'm everywhere Gordon, you just got to find me. (Chuckles) I just love this ability, it's one of my favorites, the Mists of Munnopor.
Gordon had an idea, he used his speed to spin around the arena, creating a small twister sucking out all the smoke Merlin spread out. Surprised, Merlin looked over to Gordon as he stopped and looked at him.
Gordon: Now I gotcha!
He brought out his hammer and sped towards Merlin, but he's ready, after some hand incantations, he turned himself invisible. Gordon saw this and went right through him and crashed into the arena wall. Everyone saw this and winced.
Nia: Ouch, that's going to leave a mark.
Spike: No kidding, he just phased right through Merlin.
Sunset Shimmer: Being a wizard, Merlin is bound to have a lot more magical skills, so he's just scratching the surface with his capabilities.
Gordon pulled himself out of the wall, shaking from the impact, and turn to Merlin.
Gordon: You've gone and done it wizard!
Merlin: I've just scratch the surface Sir Gordon, taste the Bolts of Balthakk!
Suddenly, lightning was heard and a lightning bolt was sent towards Gordon, but with his speed, he dodged the bolt. A bolt of lightning travels around 270,000 mph., more lightning continue raining down in the arena as Gordon dodges them. That's when he had an idea, he stomped the ground, sending a shockwave towards Merlin.
Merlin: I summon the Seven Rings of Raggadorr!
He summoned mystical rings as they block and absorb the shockwave, and fired it right back at him with some energy blasts as they head to Gordon, he tried his best to dodge the blasts, but one blasted right near him and sent him flying across the ground, the others watched this happening.
Emily: Ooh, Gordon isn't doing so good.
Thomas: Merlin isn't letting up, giving Gordon a taste of his magical power. He needs one hit with his hammer before Merlin can unleash anymore of his magic and he's down.
Rainbow Dash: You really think that'll be the last option Gordon has.
Thomas: I believe so.
Gordon is getting a little scuffed up from the match, he got up and looked at Merlin.
Gordon: I won't lose to this wizard!
He used his speed again, but this time, Merlin has another trick up his sleeve.
Merlin: You're resilient Sir Gordon, but can you take this, taste the Winds of Watoomb!
With that command, he summoned huge gusts of wind as they blow towards Gordon, Rarity generated a shield to cover them all. Merlin's gusts of wind can reach speeds of 231 mph.
Twilight Sparkle: How powerful is his wind!
Sunset Shimmer: Probably the same as tornado force winds, maybe a little more!
Percy: How could Gordon survive that!
Gordon is using his arms to try to block the wind, but it blew him back until he crashed into the wall. Merlin stopped his wind attack and looked at Gordon.
Merlin: You put up a valiant fight my friend, but it is over, stay down.
Gordon: I won't give up that easily wizard, time for you to be put down.
He used his speed to run towards him with his hammer in his hands, Merlin knew he's reaching his final leg in this fight, so he summoned another lightning bolt as it channeled through his arms, preparing for the final strike.
Merlin: This ends now Gordon!
He saw Gordon about to strike him with his hammer, but Merlin fired the lightning toward him. Gordon blocked the attack with his hammer as it sparked with electricity and the energy traveled towards Gordon as he screamed in pain slightly from the electric attack.
Henry: Gordon!
Rainbow Dash: Don't sweat it, he can take it, I hope.
Thomas: I don't know; it could affectively drain him of his strength.
Unfortunately, that's exactly what Thomas feared, Merlin's electricity is sapping some of Gordon's strength, he could take it, but not for long periods of time.
Hiro: Enough, this sparring match is over.
Merlin stopped his attack and looked at Gordon who can barely stay standing, that's when he dropped to the ground, making Merlin the winner of this match.
Merlin: I won? I won! Excelsior!
Lexi: Way to go Merlin, you made us Experimentals proud.
Boco: You two head to the booth and rest up, it's my turn who should fight next.
Toby: Who's going to be fighting next?
Boco: Applejack & Henry.
Henry: What?!
Percy: Oh boy, this ain't gonna go well.
Applejack: Relax Henry, I'll try to go easy on you.
Henry: Easy for you to say.
Applejack & Henry walked into the arena ready to begin their spar. Merlin & Gordon sat with the others while Thomas heals Gordon.
Applejack: Well, looks like it's time for us to start fighting.
Henry: As much as I don't want to hit a lady, I must do what I must to help my friends stop evil, (Whips out his Nunchucks) whatever means necessary.
Applejack: (Smirks) Well now, I think this should be an interesting fight.
They both get into their fighting stances until…
Hiro: Fight!
They charged towards each other as they begin their fight, Henry started swinging his chucks at Applejack, but she punches them away with her gauntlets. They keep going for another few minutes while the others watched.
Rebecca: Wow, look at them, their punches are moving so fast, they're almost a blur.
Percy: I could barely keep up, but I know that the action is crazy good.
Gordon: (Sighs) Let's just hope Henry has what it takes to survive this long.
As they're fighting, Applejack grabbed one of his chucks and threw him over her as he landed on the ground.
Applejack: That's all you got!
Henry: No, I'm just getting warmed up!
He slammed his fist into the ground, and a large vine came up and wrapped around her legs.
Applejack: Hey, what gives!
Henry: Always expect the unexpected, what can you do against my vines.
Applejack: You underestimate my strength Henry.
Applejack reached over to the vines wrapped around her legs and pry them off, once she's free, she leapt forward and performed a leg sweep on Henry, knocking him to the ground. Henry rolled back and back on his feet.
Percy: Geez, Applejack is not pulling any punches.
James: No kidding, it's Applejack and Henry, two of the strongest members of our teams, you'll be sure that they'll do what it takes to finish this.
Pinkie Pie: It's a battle of the strongest, people!
Henry: Take this!
He placed his hands on the ground and it started shaking, under Applejack's feet, a giant pink bouncy flower rose underneath her and a second one appeared. One flower bounced Applejack into the second one and it constantly went back & forth bouncing Applejack into the two flowers.
Pinkie Pie: Okay, that's just wrong, she can't do anything! Though I will admit it's a little funny.
Twilight Sparkle: Applejack needs to get out of there if she's gonna do something.
Fluttershy: I just hope it's not gonna hurt Applejack.
Applejack was still bounced about when she sees a dangling flower petal, picking the right moment, she grabbed the petal, pried it off and use it as a surfboard surfing down the stalk of the flower.
Applejack: Now this is surfing with style.
Henry: Here, let me throw in some turbulence, with my Venus flytraps!
Suddenly, a bunch of giant flytraps sprouted and start attacking Applejack, she's gonna have to avoid their spiky mouths. She rides the petal down the stalk and avoid the flytraps' mouths. Everyone watched her surf and avoid the flytraps.
Fluttershy: Oh, I can't watch.
Rainbow Dash: Pff, please, Applejack is a natural, she's got this.
Nia: Come on Applejack, you can do this.
She continues surfing down the stalk and avoiding the flytraps. She then used the leaf as a ramp and jumped.
Applejack: Yee-haw!
Henry: Try this one on for size, it'll be a stinky situation. (Thoughts) I tried to work in a pun.
He used his hand to bring up a giant stinky flower and sprayed a stinky odor all over the arena. Applejack smelt it and gagged, causing her to fall to the ground holding her mouth, even the rest of the group smelt that disgusting odor, all gagging, coughing and waving their arms all over to disperse the smell. Percy smelt it, gagged and fainted.
Applejack: (Gags, coughs) Ugh, what is that stench!
James: (Coughs) Oh my gosh! (Retches) This is worse than Whiff's garbage!
Twilight Sparkle: (Pinched her nose) By my calculations, the smell is comparable to the Titum Arum, the smelliest flower in the world.
Gordon: (Pinched his nose) Well, would you tell Henry or somebody that we don't want all of us sitting in a large tomato soup bath smelling like some stinky flower.
Thomas: (Pinched his nose) Merlin, can you use your wind spell to disperse the smell.
Merlin: (Pinched his nose) Most certainly Sir Thomas, I summon the Winds of Watoomb!
Using his wind spell, a big gust of wind dispersed the stinky odor out of the arena, everyone breathes a sigh of relief and fresh air.
Emily: Phew, that takes care of that.
Applejack: (Inhales, exhales) Much better, you almost made me smelling like garbage Henry.
Henry: Sorry about that, this is my first time summoning a stinky flower, still working on the kinks.
Applejack: (Chuckles) Well, I'll forgive you for that, but now it's time to finish this!
She jumped up and punched the ground so hard, that a large stone pillar rose underneath Henry.
Henry: Whoa, okay, so wasn't expecting that.
Lexi: (Whistles) That's some stone pillar.
Starlight Glimmer: You're telling me; I didn't know the Applejack in this world is that strong.
Sunset Shimmer: Well, we have seen her lift large boulders and a wooden beam with no problems at all.
Rebecca: Wow, that's really impressive.
Applejack: Time for you to come down, cause I'm the winner of this match!
Applejack rushed towards the stone pillar and punched the pillar, causing it to crack. Henry is worried knowing he needs to get off of it, so he made a risky decision and jumped as the pillar crumbled. The pillar is composed of hardstone meaning Applejack punched it with enough to break the pillar at over 16,700 tons.
Fluttershy: Henry!
Henry: Okay, I'll admit that my little stunt is a little risky, but I hope I know what I'm doing.
He used his hands to try to summon a large vine slide, and it worked as he slides down and towards the ground, causing him to roll, but managed to get back to his feet as Applejack turned to him.
Applejack: Alright partner, this fight has gone on long enough, it's time we end this tussle.
Henry: I couldn't agree more, come on!
Applejack charged at Henry while he summoned a large tree, but Applejack punched through it, ripping the trunk off. An average tree trunk weighs about 1,000 pounds. But she's got an idea on how to use it.
Applejack: Time for a home run!
She rushed towards Henry and with the trunk, she uses it like a baseball bat and slammed it against Henry's side, which sends him crashing into the arena wall.
Toby: Ooh, that's gotta hurt.
Edward: No kidding, logs can do big damage to someone and this is no exception.
Fluttershy: Oh, I can't watch Henry in pain.
Sunset Shimmer: There, there Fluttershy, I'm sure Henry would be okay.
Henry is slowly getting up from the impact and he sees Applejack cracking her knuckles.
Applejack: Looks like this is the end my friend.
Henry: Not quite, I've got one more trick up my sleeve.
He brought his hand out and a giant tree encased Applejack in its trunk with her hands and face exposed.
Applejack: What the hay?! (Grunts) I can't get out.
Henry: There's no way you can get out of this one, I've summoned a giant sequoia, which has the thickest bark up to 2 ft. thick.
Gordon: Well, blow me down.
Thomas: Henry did it, he won!
Hiro: Well done Henry, you've won your sparring match.
Henry smiled, knowing he did his friends proud, even Applejack is proud of Henry for doing well in this fight. He then released Applejack from the trap.
Hiro: It's time for the next matchup.
Rebecca: Who's going next?
Hiro: James & Rainbow Dash.
James: Oh yeah, time to show you Rainbow what I'm made of.
Rainbow Dash: Pff, please, I'll win this thing by a longshot.
Gordon: This isn't gonna end well with James.
James & Rainbow entered the arena, ready to begin their sparring match.
James: Get ready to be beat by the world's most splendid engine, or make that person.
Rainbow Dash: Yeah, keep telling yourself that.
They get into their fighting stances until…
Hiro: Fight!
They charged towards each other and clashed weapons, axe vs. spear. They continue clashing weapons for a while until James disarmed her spear.
James: No weapon, what can you do now?
Rainbow smirked, just as James was about to strike her with his axe, Rainbow sped away and appeared behind him faking a yawn. James was surprised and struck again but she sped away from him checking her nails. James struck again but missed every time.
James: (Growls) Come on Rainbow, quit messing around and get your head in the game!
Rainbow Dash: Okay, buddy, let's see what you're made of.
She started doing a bunch of kicks and punches to James, but he's managed to block some of them, but not all as one punch sends him skidding across the arena.
Rarity: Oh, I do hope Rainbow doesn't hurt my poor Jamesy.
Applejack: Relax Rarity, she won't hurt him that much.
Gordon: Maybe it'll stop him boasting when he gets his butt whooped.
Rarity: (Gasps) Well I never.
Gordon: Hey, it's somewhat true, he's always carried away with his looks and always tries to make an entrance, which he should be focusing on is work back on Sodor.
Rarity: True, but that's what makes him so special in my eyes, and handsome while I'm at.
James knew he needs to be on equal footing with her, so he activated his skates and skated around her, Rainbow looked at James as he's skating above her.
Rainbow Dash: (Thoughts) James is up to something, I know it.
James raced towards her and brought his foot out to try to kick her, but Rainbow sped away from that kick, ran off and picked up her spear, as James start kicking her but she blocks them all with her spear. In one instance, Rainbow struck with her spear which nearly clipped his hair and his coat as he dodged it.
James: Hey, watch the coat Rainbow, especially the hair.
Rainbow Dash: Try to focus on the fight more, rather than your clothes and hair buddy!
Everyone watched their fight go on.
Percy: (Whistles) Look at them all, they're going at it.
Applejack: You said it sugarcube, your James is not so bad a fighter, despite you guys bringing out his issues.
Thomas: The same for your Rainbow, but yeah, while James isn't perfect, he's still a good team player regardless.
Unfortunately, James couldn't keep up with her speed until Rainbow did a big roundhouse kick underneath his jaw, everyone winced at the hit James sustained. He crashed into the ground as Rainbow looked on at the downed James.
Rainbow Dash: Ha, now that's how I rule.
Hiro: Well done Rainbow Dash, you've won your sparring match.
James: (Groans) That was a lucky shot Dash, it almost broke my jaw.
Rainbow Dash: You weren't too shabby either.
She helped him up as they head back to the stadium.
Stephen: Alright everyone, I'll be decided on what matchup we'll do next.
Pinkie Pie: Who's fighting who?
Stephen: Toby & Theo.
Theo: W-W-What?!
Lexi: (Whispers to Merlin) This won't go well for Theo, he's not so much a fighter.
Merlin: (Whispers to Lexi) I'm sure Theo could somewhat hold his own.
Toby: Come along Theo, it's time for our spar.
Theo: Oh, okay.
Theo & Toby walked into the arena and went into their fighting stances.
Theo: Oh, this won't go well.
Toby: Come now Theo, stop doubting yourself, I know you have potential, you just gotta let loose and show them what you're made of. Even if you lose, it'll just make this fight interesting.
Theo: O-Okay, I'll try.
Stephen: Fight!
Toby brought out his scythe and charged towards Theo, while startled, brought his hands and his telekinetic abilities activated. Toby stopped moving and see that his scythe is being held by Theo's powers until he threw him into the wall, disarming him.
Nia: Ooh, that had to hurt for Toby.
Lexi: Whoo, go Theo, you can do this.
Percy: Is Toby okay Thomas?
Thomas: I hope so Percy.
Toby got himself free from the wall, and was surprised to see Theo deal the first blow.
Toby: Well fizzling fireboxes, you dealt your first attack, I must say I'm impressed.
Theo: I-I-It just happened, whenever my emotions kicked in, that's when I know I have to defend myself, thus throwing you away with my powers.
Toby: (Chuckles) Well, you certainly showed me, but now let's see you handle these.
He used his hand and lifted a load of oak logs, and lined them up in a single line, a normal oak log would weigh about 76 pounds, but he's controlling about 60, a load of logs would be around 1,400 pounds.
Starlight Glimmer: Can Toby even carry this many logs back on Sodor?
Percy: Some logs, but not this much, he would blow a fuse carrying them.
Edward: Toby may be strong, but he's old and can't be as strong as he used to be. He has his limits, but here, with his powers, it doesn't matter.
Theo looked at the line of logs Toby is controlling.
Theo: Oh boy, I better do something fast.
Toby then fired the logs at Theo, he started dodging and weaving past the logs and using his telekinetic abilities to block some via an invisible force field.
Applejack: Well I'll be, Theo is becoming a natural, look at him holding back those logs hitting him, like it's not even touching him.
Fluttershy: He has some kind of invisible force field.
Thomas: Like he's ripping it off from comic books, he's like a real superhero.
Toby looked to see he ran out of logs.
Toby: Drat, I'm out of logs.
Theo: Good enough for me, he's some brick for you.
He used his telekinetic abilities to lift each brick from a nearby pile, he then fired it at Toby. He went wide-eyed and try to dodge them. He was able to dodge some of them, but some hit his shoulder, thigh and his side hurting him. The rest of them watch him endure the pain.
Thomas: Eesh, I can sympathize with the pain, Oliver was pelted by bricks before when Ned knocked an old chimney down onto an abandoned shed.
Twilight Sparkle: Ouch, did Oliver get checked out after that incident.
Percy: He did, Thomas told me that the Pack checked Oliver out and he sustained a couple dents on his roof, luckily they're easily fixed.
Applejack: Thank goodness Oliver had a tough exterior.
Toby went behind a barrel to hide from the barrage of bricks, he winced when his fingers touched his sides, he lifted his shirt and see big bruises when the bricks hit him. Then, he feels the barrel getting pelted by the bricks, so he brought out giant tree roots to protect him from the projectiles.
Toby: (Panting) Okay, think Toby think, what else could I do. I could, no that would offend a lot of people. (Looking at the screen) People, if you're offended by what I'm about to do, don't hate me, cause I'm out of finishing moves.
Toby leapt away from the barrel and used his hands to command a bunch of wooden planks towards Theo. He was already exhausted commanding the bricks to fire at Toby, suddenly he was surrounded by the planks. With swift efficiency, the planks pin him from his back, arms and legs and tie them down. He's now strapped to a wooden cross.
Theo: (Panting) Good job Toby, you won.
Toby: You're not so bad yourself, you did some really solid hits on me. (Winces) But I'm alright, though Thomas needs to check me out.
Thomas: You're right on that, come on over, so that I can check you out.
Toby smiled and used his powers to release Theo from the wooden cross and helped him back to the bleachers.
Skarloey: Well done Toby, you've successfully completed your challenge, now it's time for me to decide the matchup for today.
Nia: Who's fighting today.
Skarloey: Emily & Sunset Shimmer.
Emily: Well then Sunset, let's see who's the tougher girl shall we?
Sunset Shimmer: Oh, I'm so game. Watch me win okay sweetie.
Thomas: Okay Sunset.
Sunset smiled and gave him a quick kiss before heading to the arena, James & Percy smirked at Thomas' direction to which he caught on.
Thomas: What?
James: You and Sunset just can't ever be separated.
Thomas: Hey, we love each other so much, I know you and Rarity love each that much, the same for Percy & Pinkie.
Pinkie Pie: You're right on that Thomas, I just love my little Percy-wercy.
Percy: (Chuckles) And I love you too Pinkie.
They look to see Sunset and Emily approach each other, and pull out their swords.
Hiro: Fight!
They charged and clashed blades, staring at each other.
Emily: Let's see what you can do Sunset.
Sunset Shimmer: You're in for a surprise.
Sunset pushed Emily and charged again, as they battle with their swords, they're watching them fight, but Thomas is waiting for someone to make the first blow.
Thomas: (Thoughts) Come on Sunset, you can do this.
The two girls continue their fighting, until Emily was pushed back again by Sunset.
Sunset Shimmer: Got anymore tricks up your sleeve Emily.
Emily: Please, a lady always has a few tricks up her sleeve.
She revealed her emerald Shurikens and threw them at her, Sunset saw this and used her sword to deflect them. She continues doing this, unaware of a couple of them being the explosive variety.
Sunset Shimmer: That the best you can do.
Emily: Watch.
Then, Sunset heard some beeping and the Shurikens exploded behind her, launching her forward, which have Emily kick her in the stomach and land on the ground.
James: Ooh, that's gotta hurt. But I know Sunset is gonna be more resilient.
Twilight Sparkle: You're right on that, with all our magical adventures and stopping big villains, she's done a lot.
Thomas: Come on Sunset, I believe in you.
Sunset slowly got up and held her stomach from that kick Emily did.
Sunset Shimmer: That was a cheap move Emily.
Emily: Hey, I have to do something to ensure my victory, but now, I think it's time for me to finish this.
She used her hands to generate an emerald hoverboard, hopped onto it and rode it around Sunset as she looked at her.
Sunset Shimmer: (Thoughts) She's up to something, gotta keep my wits about it.
And she was right, Emily generated more Shurikens and threw them at her, Sunset dodged and used her sword to deflect them. Emily continues doing this attack until Sunset caught one of her Shurikens, sure it gave her a cut in her palm which hurts, and threw it back at her. What Emily didn't realize is that same shuriken was her explosive variant, which blew up behind her, destroying her hoverboard and sending her to the ground.
Fluttershy: Oh, I can't watch.
Percy: Thomas, did you see how Sunset caught her shuriken with just her hand, it left a cut on her palm.
Thomas: I saw Percy, but she can take it, she's gotta be.
Sunset looked at her palm seeing the cut as a faint stream of blood trickled out, she then sees Emily getting up with a few scuff marks and her hair a little frazzled.
Rarity: Oh no, her hair is such a mess, when she gets back here, I need to fix it.
Applejack: Worry about the hair Rarity, look what's happening down there.
Emily: (Panting) To be honest, I wasn't expecting that.
Sunset Shimmer: Like you said, you have plenty of tricks up your sleeve.
Emily: (Chuckles) You certainly been following my quotes.
Sunset Shimmer: Somewhat, but let's see you deal with my sword.
She charged towards her, but Emily activated her emerald shield, deflecting her sword and sending Sunset skidding back.
Rarity: (Gasps) She's copying me, I don't know what to say, I like this girl.
James: Is it for her looks or she's just a carbon copy of you.
Rarity: Hmm, maybe a little bit of both, but nothing comes close to the love I share with you.
Sunset Shimmer: Hey, that was a cheap move.
Emily: I'm just about this close to letting loose, and I'm not holding back. Prepare to face the deep freeze.
She brought her hand out and activated her ice powers, Sunset saw this and leapt back to avoid an ice spire jutting out of the ground. She continues producing ice as Sunset dodged every one of them, until at one moment, ice grabbed hold of her leg leaving her stuck.
Sunset Shimmer: What, hey!
Thomas: Sunset, be careful!
Emily: Take this!
She summoned a giant chunk of ice and threw it towards Sunset, she saw this and knew that she needs to act fast. She looked to her sword and gained determination in her eyes.
Sunset Shimmer: (Thoughts) I've gone through so many changes throughout my history in this world. From my rough and horrible behavior towards Celestia, to trying to rule the world and grasping at the Magic of Friendship. I'll show everyone that I've changed, no matter the cost. I'm not the power-hungry individual anymore, I'm the leader of the Rainbooms, I am Sunset Shimmer, the Element of Empathy!
She then sees a familiar black and teal flame, it was from her She-Demon form, it transferred from her body to her sword, given it even more striking power. Knowing this, she looked at the giant chunk of ice heading towards her and knows what she has to do. Using her sword to free her leg from the ice, she then swung her sword with enough force to slice the chunk in half and explode it into a million pieces, which surprised Emily and the crowd.
Percy: Flatten my funnel, did you see that, she's just gained a whole new level of confidence.
Twilight Sparkle: More like gained a new ability for her sword, it's something I understand.
Rarity: Is this about her former evil self, does that ring a bell?
Twilight Sparkle: Exactly, so it seems as though she conquered her evil self.
Emily: That's impossible, no amount of energy could destroy that much ice.
Sunset looked up and smirked at Emily before she charged towards her. Emily responded by dueling her, in a climatic swordfight. Everyone was holding their breath as to who will win this fight. After what seemed like an hour, Sunset's sword went towards her blade, but instead of clanging metal, it was shattering metal as Emily's sword broke from the battle, leaving some stunned by what they're seeing, even Emily was shocked to see her sword break.
Percy: Did-Did her sword broke?
James: I think it did Percy, Sunset declared herself as the winner.
Hiro: And rightfully so, well done Sunset Shimmer, you've displayed marvelous fighting skills, impressive swordplay, and all around good technique.
Sunset Shimmer: Thank you Master Hiro, I must say Emily is not too shabby herself, she almost snagged the victory herself.
Emily: And I nearly did, if you couldn't break out of that ice in time, I would've finished you, but what now, I'm weaponless, besides my Shurikens, I really liked my sword.
Hiro: Not to worry Emily, I've got a sturdier and more durable ninja sword for you to use on your adventures with your friends.
Emily: Thank you Hiro.
She looked over to see Boco bringing out Emily's new sword.
Emily's Ninjato-Katana sword has a dark gold handle laced with emerald green leather around the handle, the hilt is also made with dark gold and at the center of the hilt is an emerald circle with the #12 in the center, the blade is silver with an emerald fade job giving it an extra shine.
He handed her the sword.
Emily: Wow, it's beautiful, I'll use this with honor, Master Hiro.
Hiro: I know you will Emily.
Boco: I believe it's time I say what the next matchup will be.
Nia: Who's fighting next?
Boco: Fluttershy & Lexi.
Fluttershy: M-M-M-Me?!
Toby: Oh boy, this won't be so good for Fluttershy, she'll faint at any second during the match.
Rainbow Dash: From what I know of our Fluttershy, she does know how to get serious in times of desperation.
With everyone back in the bleachers, Fluttershy & Lexi walked in the arena.
Fluttershy: (Inhales & exhales) Okay Fluttershy, you can do this, don't let fear control you.
Lexi: You ready for this Fluttershy.
Fluttershy: Eep, I-I hope so.
Lexi twirled her ninja sword, while Fluttershy loaded her dart gun.
Fluttershy: (Thoughts) I have to make every shot count.
Hiro: Fight!
Fluttershy knew that she doesn't have much in offensive weaponry, but she does have her animal friends to help back her up.
Fluttershy: My animal friends, I need your help in this fight.
Her geode glowed and a couple of raccoons and foxes came in the arena to aid Fluttershy, Lexi responded by spawning in a couple of clones to stop the coons and foxes.
Lexi: Sic' 'em ladies.
The clones charged towards the animals, and they leapt up and start attacking the clones, while some rip the animals off their faces or any other body part, while some are still fighting the animals, Fluttershy took the time to aim her dart gun at the original Lexi.
Fluttershy: (Thoughts) Okay Fluttershy, make this shot count.
She shot the dart as it flew towards Lexi, she saw the dart and shrieked as she waved her sword wildly to deflect the dart, and she did just that.
Lexi: Phew, that could've gone worse.
Just then, a bear came in and roared out, responding, she produced more clones to try to overpower the bear, while Fluttershy whistled for a horse to come in and she leapt onto its back, riding it like a cowgirl.
Fluttershy: That's it boy, ride 'em like you mean it. I'll show Lexi that I can win this.
Applejack: (Whistles) Whoo, go Fluttershy, go-go go!
Emily: She might actually win this.
Henry: You kidding, she can do this thing, go Fluttershy!
She readied another dart in her dart gun ready to shoot at Lexi, she aimed her weapon and fired it, Lexi saw the dart and deflected it, but she didn't see the horse coming in and kicked her in the chest. Everyone winced at the kick as Lexi landed on the ground. Luckily, the kick that the horse landed wasn't at full power, so it didn't kill her, only it left a horseshoe print on Lexi's stomach. Theo & Merlin rushed over to Lexi.
Theo: Lexi! Are you okay!
Lexi: (Groans) I'm alright, I'll live, that was, a really good kick your horse did Fluttershy.
Fluttershy: (Blushes) Thanks Lexi.
Thomas walked up to her and placed his hand on her stomach as his healing power activated and healed her stomach. Lexi was astonished by what Thomas did.
Lexi: How did you?
Thomas: My geode granted me the power to heal others, another advantage if we're all in big fights.
Merlin: Simply marvelous.
Stephen: Well done Lexi, your fight with Fluttershy is really good, and you even took a hit when it could've killed you, but you were lucky Fluttershy's horse didn't kick you at its full power, other than that, you did well.
Lexi: Thank you Stephen.
Stephen: Alright, I'll be choosing the next matchup.
Thomas: Who's going to be fighting?
Stephen: Rebecca & Rarity.
Rebecca: No way, me fighting against Rarity, this is gonna be awesome.
Rainbow Dash: Again, what's with people stealing my taglines.
James: Don't you try to hurt my Rarity.
Rarity: Don't fret over me darling, I can handle myself and I'm more than capable of performing a good fight.
Rebecca: Prepare to be amazed.
James: (Sighs) This won't end well.
Gordon: Relax James, at least your "darling" won't be killed in this fight.
James: Oh stow it Gordon.
Everyone is on the bleachers watches as Rarity and Rebecca approach each other.
Rebecca: Prepare to be amazed girlfriend!
Rarity: I'll aim to please.
Hiro: Fight!
The girls charged at each other and clashed weapons, as they engage in weapons combat. Rarity's scythe tried to get the upper hand but Rebecca's spear blocks the attacks, and the same goes for them but the other way around. As this goes on for a while, Rebecca threw a kick at Rarity kicking her back.
James: Hey, what did I say about hurting my Rarity!
Gordon had enough and slapped him in the face to keep him shut, meanwhile, Rarity does a kick maneuver but Rebecca blocks it and throws her back. They looked at each other knowing they're about equal, they decide to take it up a notch.
Rebecca: You're good, but can you take this!
Rebecca activated her sun powers and fired sun beams at Rarity, while some dodged her and she even used her shields to block them. This keeps going as the group watched.
Nia: Man, they're not letting up.
Starlight Glimmer: No kidding, with Rebecca's powers and Rarity's abilities, they're practically unbeatable. Look out!
One of Rebecca's beams reflected off of Rarity's shields and heads to the others, while some duck & cover, Thomas activated his golden shield to block the beam from hitting anyone, they all look to him in surprise.
Thomas: Your welcome.
Gordon: Geez, if Thomas is next up, he practically one-shots everyone.
Twilight Sparkle: Not everyone Gordon, I think I have a way to counteract his abilities when I face him.
She activated her sun orbs and fired it at Rarity, but she used her shields to block them and send some back at her. While she dodged a couple of her orbs, she put up her shield, but the explosion of the orb impacting the shield broke it and sent Rebecca back as she crashed to the ground. Rarity was also getting exhausted from overexertion during the fight.
Rarity: (Panting) Darling, you're doing excellent, but this fight is over.
Rebecca: (Groans) Not yet, I'm just scratching the surface.
She unleashed her sonic scream ability, Thomas reacted and put up a force field to protect everyone's ears. Rarity saw this and put up her shield to try to block the scream, this keeps going for about a minute but Rarity noticed her shield is cracking, it can't keep this going. Unfortunately, Rarity's shield broke and sent her flying back and crashing into the wall. Rebecca stopped her scream ability and looked at Rarity, who was slowly getting up. Luckily, her scream wasn't one that will make you deaf, though it'll make your ears ring a little bit.
Rarity: (Groans) My stars, that was surely something.
James: Rarity!
Skarloey came over to help Rarity.
Skarloey: She'll be fine James; she just needs to rest.
James: Phew.
Gordon: Pff, I sometimes don't understand you James.
Skarloey: But nevertheless, you performed well Rebecca, you and Rarity were excellent fighters, displaying your tremendous abilities and your weapon skills.
Rebecca: Thank you Skarloey, it means a lot to me.
Skarloey: You're very welcome Rebecca. And I think it's time for another matchup.
Henry: Who'll be fighting Skarloey?
Skarloey: Thomas & Twilight Sparkle.
Gordon: Of course.
Twilight Sparkle: Not to worry Gordon, I have a strategy that could prove useful when I beat Thomas.
Thomas: Hmm, we shall see Twilight, may the best fighter win.
Twilight Sparkle: Deal.
Sunset Shimmer: Good luck Thomas, you got this. (Kissed his cheek)
Thomas smiled at Sunset as he and Twilight walked off towards the arena, everyone watched them approach each other.
Percy: I hope Thomas wins this.
Edward: Well, these fights always produce unexpected results.
Thomas: You ready Twilight.
Twilight Sparkle: I'm born ready.
Thomas pulled out his sword and Twilight pulled out her spear, ready to fight.
Boco: Fight!
Thomas & Twilight charged at each other and clashed weapons, spear vs. sword. They're dueling with their weapons as everyone watched.
Nia: Come on Thomas, you got this.
Pinkie Pie: Go Twilight, you go girl.
Rarity: Do be careful of that sword Twilight.
Emily: Don't let Twilight push you around.
They continue battling with their weapons, before Twilight used her spear to grip Thomas' sword and disarm Thomas as his sword skidded across the ground. Thomas looked to see Twilight swing her spear at him but dodged as he glared, before he revealed his arm blade.
Twilight Sparkle: (Thoughts) Oh crap, forgot he had an arm blade. But I can still do the attack, just without the disarming part.
Hiro: Now that's new, I've never seen Thomas have that.
Nia: Let's just say, he kept that when he turned evil again.
Boco: Did he now?
Edward: Yes, he did, at first, he had difficulty controlling it, and sometimes, that evil within him may pop up and his rage also complicates things. But overtime, he's managed to control his arm blade.
Hiro: I see, well, this should be interesting in this fight.
Twilight readied her spear as Thomas charged towards her as he swings his arm blade at her, while she used her spear to fight & defend her against his blade. They continue fighting for a while, until Twilight's spear grabbed ahold of Thomas' arm blade which surprised him.
Twilight Sparkle: Going up Thomas?
She lifted him and using that momentum to slam Thomas to the ground, which some of the group winced from it. Thomas shook his head and dodged again from Twilight's spear before he teleported back.
Twilight Sparkle: You know I'm schooling you right now Thomas.
Thomas: This isn't over yet.
He powered his hands and fired golden beams at Twilight, she saw them and dodged, she runs around the battlefield as Thomas continued firing the beams, before she used her telekinetic abilities to send steel beams at them, the beams weigh about 2,000 pounds, which exploded.
Thomas: You think that's enough?
Twilight Sparkle: No, I'm just buying myself time to do this!
She used her abilities again and wrapped around more steel beams and throw them at Thomas, he saw them and dodged a couple, before he generating a shield from his arm to block one of the beams, before another hit his shield and sent him back, he rolled across the ground before getting back up. She sent more beams at him before Thomas brought up a golden force field to protect himself from the beams. He exhaled a bit knowing Twilight isn't giving up, before deactivating the shield.
Thomas: (Exhales) I have to admit; you're being efficient in your abilities.
Twilight Sparkle: Thanks, and you're not too shabby yourself.
Thomas: But I still won't let you win, and I won't be holding back!
He surrounds himself in a golden aura as his eyes glowed gold, he slowly levitated in the air as he surged in power, everyone saw this.
Fluttershy: Oh, how can Twilight beat that?!
Rainbow Dash: Relax Fluttershy, our Twilight always has a plan.
Rarity: Let's just hope it's enough.
And Twilight does have a plan, and the action heats up, Thomas fired two golden beams from his eyes at Twilight, but she activated a force field to help protect her from the beams, once that was over, Thomas' hands start generating golden orbs and fired them at Twilight. She saw this and starts dodging them, but she has a plan. She stopped as two golden orbs fly towards her, she put her hands out as it glowed with her power and it stopped the orbs. She then sent them right back at Thomas unaware of another orb heading towards her, to which she couldn't defend herself in time. It exploded in the ground next to her, as the orbs explode at Thomas sending them both flying to the ground. Everyone saw this and are anxiously waiting for the turning point.
Sunset Shimmer: Come on Thomas, you can do this, you just gotta.
Emily: It's gonna be okay Sunset, he's got this.
Unfortunately, all that fighting has Thomas' energy spent and he could barely continue the fight. Twilight, while shaken up, still has enough energy for one more attack. She ran towards Thomas as he struggles to get back up.
Twilight Sparkle: This is the finisher Thomas!
She performed a roundhouse kick on Thomas' jaw which sent him back onto the ground but can't get up, making Twilight the victor in this fight.
Sunset Shimmer: Thomas!
Percy: I-I can't believe it, Thomas lost.
Rainbow Dash: Thomas does have power and brains, but Twilight is a technical genius, able to calculate any solutions to any problems.
Emily: This almost seems biased in my opinion.
Boco: This isn't biased Emily, Twilight's knowledge led to be the victor of this fight. Sure, Thomas may have an advantage when it comes to power, but Twilight's smarts also proved an edge in this bought.
Thomas: (Groans) That was a really good move Twilight, I must admit, you performed well.
Twilight Sparkle: Thank you Thomas, and you're not too bad yourself.
She helped Thomas up before Hiro starts speaking.
Hiro: Alright everyone, it's time for the next fight.
Henry: Who's going to be fighting?
Hiro: Percy & Nia.
Nia: Looks like we get the chance to show off our fighting skills after all Percy.
Percy: You betcha Nia, now let's put on a show.
Nia: Agreed Percy.
Percy and Nia head to the arena as they take their fighting stances, while everyone wait to see the action. Thomas, although scuffed, did put up a good fight against Twilight, and Sunset knows this too, so she isn't mad that he lost. She placed her hand on top of his to support him.
Hiro: Fight!
The fight starts with Percy firing his arm blasters at Nia, but she deployed her sword and started blocking each shot, while that was going on, some of Percy's shots actually came close to shooting Nia but those were close calls.
Nia: (Thoughts) These shots are getting too close for my liking; I need to finish this as quick as possible.
So Nia charges forward in hopes of striking Percy with her sword as close as possible, Percy saw this and immediately teleported, avoiding her sword strike.
Nia: What, where did he go?
Gordon: It's Percy for crying out loud, he couldn't have gotten far.
Pinkie Pie: Ooh, he might be in that direction, or over there, or over that way, ugh, so many directions, I can't keep track of them all.
Rarity: Easy now darling, don't get yourself worked up over nothing. I'm sure Percy will show up sooner than you expected.
And he did just that, Percy reappeared and fired more shots at Nia, but she deflected some of them with her sword. But some of the shots are heading towards the crowd, some of them ducked (James, Thomas, Sunset, Twilight, Rainbow & Edward) while Rarity brought up her shields to deflect the shots.
James: Hey, watch where you're shooting that thing!
Percy: Sorry!
She puts away her sword, and whips out her bow and arrows, she loads three of them and aimed at Percy which she fired. Percy saw this and teleported away and begins dodging each of her arrows. Once her quiver is out, she whips out her crossbows and starts firing at Percy.
Pinkie Pie: Oh come on Percy-wercy, you just gotta win this! Win like you never won before!
Lexi: It's like he's trying to avoid conflict, is that why?
Edward: No, he has teleportation, he's using that to evade Nia's attacks, giving him an advantage, but he might overdo it if he's pushing himself too far.
And Edward was right, luckily, Percy is able to catch this and tries not to overdo his teleportation too much. Nia looked at him as she puts her crossbows back and whips out her Bo staff. Now Percy tries another method of attack, using his martial arts. He runs towards as he begins using his martial art skills to the test, but Nia is blocking each strike with her Bo.
Thomas: Come on Percy, you can do this.
Applejack: You think Percy's got what it takes to beat her.
Thomas: Knowing my best friend, I know he won't falter, he'll do anything for me.
Their fight continues on until Nia shot out a hidden blade from her Bo staff, which surprised Percy.
Percy: Ahh, I didn't see that coming!
Percy is now dodging the blade as Nia continues striking with her Bo staff, everyone anxiously waits for the next attack.
Emily: Be careful Percy.
Gordon: I gotta be honest, the green caterpillar, not insulting him fyi., is really keeping himself on his toes, especially him dodging her staff.
Percy is still dodging the blade, until he teleported away and appeared again to kick the staff away from her hands. Nia only has one weapon left, her whip, she jumped back as she whipped it out. Her power increases its length before launching it towards Percy. But he's about to do something no one ever expected, just as the tip of the whip hit Percy, he caught it in his hand, only for it to start stinging his hand, and the hit made some of the group wince from hearing it crack.
Percy: Ouch!
Edward: Ooh, that's going to sting his hand for a while.
Rebecca: I hope Percy is okay.
Percy breathed in and out to power through the pain, before Nia could do anything, Percy pulled the whip towards him with Nia on the other hand.
Percy: I believe it's time for you to get wrapped up.
He twirled his hand around with the whip he's still holding, and with Nia on the other end, her whip is wrapping her up like a burrito, before she fell to the ground defeated, leaving Percy the victor as he smirked to the crowd.
Merlin: The winner, Sir Percy!
Thomas: Way to go Percy, I knew you can do it.
Percy: Thanks for that Thomas, also, could someone throw me an ice pack. Ouch, that stings!
Emily: (Chuckles) Don't worry, I'll take care of Percy, so Boco, we got one more matchup, it's our #2 against the pink bubblegum girl. (Winks) No offense Pinkie.
Pinkie Pie: None taken Emily, come along Eddie, it's time to fight!
Edward: (Thoughts) She's hyper like candy.
They head to the arena ready to begin the final duel.
Pinkie Pie: I hope this fight is gonna be smooth sailing Eddie.
Edward: I hope so too Pinkie.
Hiro: Fight!
Pinkie whipped out her balloon mace and started flinging it towards Edward, but he dodged its strikes as he fired his wrist blasters, but they bounce off the mace, until it went for another strike as it crashed to the ground barely hitting Edward.
Twilight Sparkle: I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact of how Pinkie's balloon mace could deflect those shots and be so strong and durable.
Toby: And the fact that she's swinging it around like a wrecking ball, but it still carries its destructive capabilities.
Gordon: Now how is she able to cook these confounded contraptions.
Sunset Shimmer: It's Pinkie Pie, being Pinkie Pie, she's completely unpredictable.
Pinkie Pie: Oh yeah, we're really kicking things into high gear now, time to pound my opponent into the ground!
He dodged the wrecking ball again, now he needs to come up with a plan and fast.
Edward: (Thoughts) Her wrecking ball will complicate things, so I just need to distract her long enough for me to come up with a plan to take her down.
Then, Pinkie came charging in and performed some wild karate kicks as Edward dodged and weaved from the kicks, along with countering her attacks with a few of his martial art skills.
Thomas: (Whistles) Come on Edward, show those years of experience that you got this!
Twilight Sparkle: He's gotta win, he's just gotta.
Henry: I just hope Edward's old age doesn't get the better of him.
Gordon: If it does, then we'll never hear the end of it.
James: Oh shut it Gordon.
They continue their martial arts fighting until Edward pushed Pinkie back, that's when she had an idea, she reached into her hair and pulled out a large mallet with red, black and white diamond patterns.
Edward: (Thoughts) Okay, now that's illogical.
Pinkie Pie: Oh, the memories of this beauty every Halloween, dressing up as one of my favorite villainous clowns of all time, even I get the crazies whenever I wear that costume, don't ya agree Mistah E?
Percy: Umm, how does she knows this.
Sunset Shimmer: (Chuckles) Let's just say Pinkie has been reading one, too many, superhero comics until she came across the very character that almost remind her of herself.
Thomas: Well, I can see why.
Pinkie is now swinging her mallet at Edward, while he's dodging it, he even tried firing his blasters at her, but she twirls her mallet around to deflect her shots, but she starts tired after each twirl, so she stopped to catch her breath. That gives Edward enough time to use leftover scrap metal and construct a shield for him to use. Pinkie has finally gained the energy she needs, via a cupcake, Edward came charging and bashed Pinkie with his shield, disarming her mallet as she landed on the ground.
Percy: Ooh, that's gotta hurt. Come on Pinkie, you can do this!
Twilight Sparkle: By my own calculations, followed by Edward's incredible intelligence, I deduced that he might win this fight.
Gordon: You really think Edward is going to win this?
Toby: Twilight's not wrong, Edward is one of the oldest in our fleet.
Pinkie got up from the attack, now with a determined look on her face, she then got out a canister full of sprinkles. Edward knew where this is going, so he readied his shield. Pinkie sprinkled a couple of sprinkles on her hand as it started sparkling.
Pinkie Pie: Time to get serious Eddie!
She threw the sprinkles at Edward, and it exploded as Edward already had his shield protecting him, which sent him skidding across the ground. This continued on as Edward continued having his shield up as Pinkie threw her explosive sprinkles at him.
Applejack: Come on Edward, show Pinkie Pie what you're made of!
James: If Edward wins this, I'm gonna be surprised.
This continues, until Pinkie reached into her canister, until she feels nothing in it.
Pinkie Pie: Oh no, I'm out of ammo.
Edward: That's good to hear.
Edward charged in and performed a roundhouse kick at Pinkie, causing her to crash to the ground defeated.
Pinkie Pie: O' the Indignity.
Gordon: THAT'S MY LINE, PINKIE!
Edward: You put up a good fight Pinkie, even if you're unpredictable and wacky, you fought valiantly.
Pinkie Pie: Thanks for the compliment Edward, I appreciate it.
Everyone cheered for Edward winning this fight, even James & Gordon were left in disbelief by this feat Edward pulled off.
Hiro: Well done Edward, you performed excellently in this fight.
Edward: Thank you Master Hiro.
Hiro: But all of you, performed well and showed all of your skills in these matchups. You're all ready to continue fighting evil, and saving the world from destruction. Now go, my students, find Spencer, Hurricane & Frankie and save them from Sombra's control, before more damage can be spilled.
James, Applejack, Rebecca,Henry, Percy, Thomas, Edward, Gordon, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Toby, Theo, Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, Emily, Lexi, Merlin, Rarity, Nia & Fluttershy: Yes, sensei! Everyone cheered and thought of celebrating, luckily Hiro and his friends have whipped a Japanese sushi dinner for everyone to enjoy, and they need it since they expelled some of their energy during their matchups. What they didn't know is that somewhere on Sodor, a dark force arrived out of the Magic Buffers, it's the Steam Villain Alliance (Hurricane, Spencer & Frankie)
Hurricane: I wish I could enjoy Sodor in all its glory, too bad it's gonna be another wasteland once Sombra unleashes his power.
Frankie: You're not wrong there, Sodor, Canterlot and Equestria will all be his.
Spencer: Don't you mean Diesel 10's, remember, he's leading the operations and he wants us to find this artifact which he claims could tip the balance against their fight with Thomas and his friends.
Frankie: Now what exactly is this artifact that Diesel 10 wants us to find?
Spencer: He never told me what, but he mentioned that it's something that fuels his powers, we find that, we bring it to him.
Hurricane: Sounds like that will really help Diesel 10, come on Frankie, let's find this artifact.
Frankie: Right behind you, Hurricane.
Spencer: Wait, I'm supposed to be leading us here.
Unfortunately, they ignored him which left him feeling jealous as he followed them in search of this artifact. They looked around the forest as they search.
Frankie: Now where would a powerful artifact be in a location like this?
Spencer: Who knows, but we gotta find it before someone finds us.
Hurricane: Lighten up will ya Spencer, it's just a simple mission to retrieve something for Diesel 10.
Spencer: This isn't a simple mission, it's an important mission that'll benefit all of us! Now quit dawdling and get searching.
Frankie: Geez, take a chill pill with you. I mean, it's not like this so-called artifact is gonna pop up automatically.
Then, they hear weird pulsating sounds from an overgrowth of bushes, they head over there to check it out. As they ventured through the foliage, they see a purple glow and see a large mound of Dark Gold Dust, this is the artifact they're after, as Spencer grinned and chuckled evilly as the screen fades to black.
