Chapter 4: Winx Vs Students Part 1
Picking up, 45 minutes from where the last chapter ended. We currently find everyone sitting in the U.A. Teacher's Lounge talking. While Toshinori and Izumi teleported off using Izumi's Believix Zoomix wings to pick up Ryukyu and Fatgum. Also, there was a knocked-out Midnight, with a frying pan lying next to her on the floor. Which was quite the story and Aizawa was trying very hard not to crack a smile at the situation. Before he left to meet up with Vlad King and the students in Class 1-A's classroom.
And to sum up what happened to Midnight. Basically, Midnight saw Eri and attempted to hug her. Who was eating an apple at the time. Only to run into a frying pan, which was being held up by Zing and Jolly for her to crash into. Resulting in Midnight getting KO'd in the process. Of course, Eri went on undisturbed by the events and continued eating her apple as if the event never happened in the first place. While everyone from the magic dimension just watched with the look of surprise. Except those from U.A., who didn't even look surprised by the way Midnight reacted to certain situations.
Though they did ask about Eri's dragon egg. Which she had answered, that it was a gift from the Winx and Specialists. While she was recovering after being rescued from Overhaul. Though Eri sensed that there was a special connection between her and the unborn dragon and was curious about it.
Just then Izumi and Toshinori returned, with a stunned Ryukyu and Fat Gum. Who had a look that said they were struggling to comprehend the fact that magic actually exists. They started asking Nezu, why he didn't tell them about their ride to U.A. was going to be a fairy and All Might's secretary.
While they began asking Nezu questions about why he didn't tell them. Toshi sat down on the couch, with a look that said, (So that's what it feels like to have magic and be teleported by magic too.) Which caused Izumi to smile as she remembered the feeling of when she first got her Winx form. While many were curious about the way Toshi was acting. Though to those that have experienced magic or have had magic for most of their lives, could only smile at knowing the feeling.
Then Nezu noticed the time and mentioned it to everyone. So, they started heading outside where buses would transport them to training ground Beta.
Meanwhile, in a Class 1-A classroom. It was straight up, complete and utter chaos coming up with a battle strategy in a room filled to the brim with 42 students. Some chatting hoping to take the stress of the upcoming fight. While others were working on coming up with as many plans as possible for the match. Seeing this caused both Eraserhead and Vlad King to pinch the bridge of their noses and ask why they agreed to hold the planning for the match in Class 1-A classroom in the first place. Instead of someplace a bit more spacious. While the U.A. Big 3 stood at the back of the classroom and watched the chaos unfold, while either being asked the occasional question or adding their 2 cents to any plans. Which resulted in either plans having to be modified or being completely scrapped and being rewritten from scratch.
Of course, a few events happened over the planning process. Monoma found himself tied to a chair with his mouth taped shut and a sign saying "Do not remove tape." Because he said something that got everyone mad at him. Since he was part of the reason why they were in the mess to begin with, which led to his current situation. Mineta is tied upside down from the ceiling after doing something, which he shouldn't have done in the first place. Iida found himself in the corner, with a dunce cap on. After one of his ideas, along with his strict attitude. Lead to him being forced into said corner by his fellow students, and had the dunce cap placed on him for his plan. They didn't include Bakugou in any of the plans. Due to the fact that he would most likely go after Izumi for no reason and will refuse to work with everyone else.
Then Aizawa noticed the clock and walked up to the front of the classroom to let them know. That it was time to change into their hero costumes and meet the Winx outside. So that everyone can get on the bus to head to Training Ground Omega.
After the students finished changing into their hero costumes. They were greeted by everyone chatting and making small talk.
Then Aizawa noticed that the students had arrived. And coughed letting everyone know that the students have arrived.
Followed by Nezu walking up to the students and telling them that he'll explain what the match is about at the training ground. So, everyone started boarding the bus. That Nezu had gotten, so that they could get there with one bus.
While on the bus, Tsuyu finally asked the question, about Izumi's change in personality.
"Izumi. Can you explain the sudden change in personality?" Asked Tsuyu, curious about how much Izumi had changed.
"Well, if I had to be honest with you." Said Izumi, looking at Tsuyu. "You could say the change happened. Because I finally have friends who can support and help me. And not bully me, because I'm not the same as everyone else." Eyeing Bakugou, as if telling him to bring it. Which got Bakugou mad for some reason. Aizawa noticed the interaction between the 2 and made a mental note to tell Nezu. That there was a case of quirkless bullying, which made him suspicious about the middle school they went to. "In fact, I earned mine. When I stopped doubting myself and admitted that I did still had people who cared about me. By doing so I earned my Charmix." This got everyone's attention at the word, Charmix.
"So, what is Charmix? Is that some kind of accessory?" asked Mina, wondering if it was a piece of fashion.
"Charmix, Mina. Is more of a power up, than a transformation." Said Tecna, now having everyone's attention. "And is earned, by a fairy overcoming a great fear or personal difficulty. It will take the form of a broach and a purse." Now having everyone that was on the bus, attention. "Izumi already told you how she earned hers." Getting a nod from everyone. "I earned mine by admitting to my boyfriend Timmy. How I truly felt about him, along with showing emotion."
Then the rest of the Winx proceeded to tell everyone how they earned theirs. Then Momo asked if there were any other transformations. Which got everyone's attention again.
"Well, Momo. There is Enchantix. But, the opportunity to earn that transformation is a bit trickier to earn. Since it requires you to make a noble sacrifice to save someone else and must show a great sacrifice in the process." Said Izumi, once again having all eyes on her.
"Izumi, what was your sacrifice for Enchantix?" asked Inko, worried about her sacrifice.
"I sacrificed my early return home for my friends. Since I felt that it wasn't our time to part yet." Said Izumi, causing many people to feel touched by her sacrifice. Since she sacrificed a way to return home for her friends.
Followed by the rest of the Winx telling everyone about how they earned their Enchantix. Which caused many of the people on the bus to start thinking about what sacrifices that they'll be making when they become pro heroes or if they were already pro heroes.
"Then there's Believix. A transformation that is earned by making believe in magic and in fairies." Said Izumi, explaining to everyone. "The main requirement is that we need to have our Winx, Charmix and Enchantix. Which is needed along with making a person or a group of people believe in magic and fairies. In order to access the full power of the transformation. Which includes 3 extra sets of wings, each with a different power, and a Believix spell. That is different for each fairy. The spell is designed to make people believe in magic. But the secondary is where the Believix power really shows. Since it can induce a change in people's behavior in a more positive way." Everyone was looking at Izumi, with looks of surprise at the info that she is giving.
"Let's take my Dawn of Light as an example. It can make the rudest of people, like Bakugou here." Said Stella, showing an example.
Before she was interrupted by Bakugou yelling, "WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!"
Picking up where she left off, before she was interrupted. "Cooperative and accepting. About the plights of others. In other words, I can make the rudest of people into polite, upstanding and accepting people." Which made Bakugou even madder. While causing others to become curious.
"And there's my Gen of Mind. Which can make people think logically and understand how they got into the mess in the first place. Or I can make the smartest and most stubborn people. See the situation or problem from a logical standpoint." Said Tecna, explaining how her Believix spell worked. Which now had everyone's attention. "Our Believix spells can also make people believe in magic."
Causing the rest of the trip to be filled with questions about the things the Winx have seen and done. Then the Winx were asked, was it possible for them to be able to use magic. But, the answer, they gave the students. Was that they had to be born with magic. Which caused a few to become depressed at the fact that they couldn't become fairies or use magic.
Then Izumi pointed out that she had made a spell to give people the ability to use magic. But the spell plays at the hands of destiny. They could gain the ability to naturally use magic, like Eri. Who had the potential to use magic or they could wind up with barely enough magic to actually gain the ability to use magic. But given enough time that spark of magic could appear generations from now. Which made a lot of them wonder if they were destined to gain magic or not.
But little they would be getting their wish soon and that it would affect every student that was taking part in the match. Because Izumi had a feeling that the match was going to change everything.
They arrived at training ground Omega with some more questions answered. Some questions were about the pixies. And a question about why they were using Enchantix. Instead of their most basic transformation. Which was answered with another question. And that question was, "Do you want to see girls running around in outfits that worked for teenagers? On women, who were in their 20's?" Which caused those, who were curious about the same question, to just shiver and say, "No." to the question.
So, as they were getting off the bus, a portal opened up in front them. Followed by what sounded like 5 boys falling out of it. Which caused them to be greeted by the sight of the Specialists in a dog pile.
"I'm going to go on a hunch here and say that Saladin invited you here to watch the match." Said Izumi, as she grabbed Stella by the collar of her current outfit, just as she ran by. While the boys picked themselves off the floor.
Getting a thumbs up from a boy with light brown-orange hair and glasses. "You are correct. Saladin did invite us to watch the match." He said, as the boys started getting up from the pile.
"Okay, then." Said Izumi, as she turned to brown haired boy. "Hey, Brandon." Getting a hm, from the boy. "Here you go." As Izumi let go of Stella's shirt collar and ran over to him. Followed by both of them falling to the ground. "Now I'm going to go and let you guys catch up. While I explain to everyone. Who the boys are and why did they just fall out of a portal?" As the rest of the Winx went over to their boyfriends, minus Aisha and Roxy. While Izumi began explaining to everyone. Who were the Specialists and what exactly that they were trained to fight. Which caused the students to be even more inspired to be heroes. While others were scared about the monsters and creatures that they were trained to fight against.
Over hearing, what the Specialists can do. Started giving Nezu ideas for some new classes at U.A. in the future. If magic truly started appearing on the planet. While the Pro Heroes shivered at what the Specialists were trained to fight in the field.
So, 15 minutes passed with the winx catching up with their boyfriends, minus Izumi, Roxy and Aisha. When Eri had brought up the strange connection. She's been feeling with her dragon egg. Which had Izumi wondering, could the baby dragon inside the egg, be Eri's fairy animal.
Of course, someone had overheard Izumi and Eri's conversation. Which led to Izumi explaining what fairy animals were and how they maintained the balance of the magical dimension. Along with introducing her own fairy animals. That really got everyone's attention. Since she had 2 fairy animals, an alicorn named Celestia and a dragon phoenix named Roast. Aisha told them that hers and the Winx Fairy Pets are not with them anymore. Due to certain events that have happened. And Roxy said that she hasn't found hers yet. Some of the students that wanted to be fairies were wondering if they could find their own fairy animals one day.
Then Nezu called them all over. So that he can explain the rules and everything. "As you all know. Today's exhibition match between the Winx Club and the Students of U.A. But first I would like to go over some rules for this match." Nezu explained that the match would conclude. When everyone on 1 side has been caught using U.A. capture tape, knocked unconscious or are unable to move. In other words, the students of U.A. have to treat this like the battle trial they had at the beginning of the year or in U.A. big 3's case their freshman year. "Also, you'll be graded on how you perform. During the match today. And may I please remind you all, is that we have guests here today to watch the match. So please try to be on your best behavior." Which caused class 1-A to look at Bakugou as if they knew he was going to try something like that. As Nezu joined the others heading to the observation tower.
From the observation tower, after the students and Winx started making their way towards their respective gates. All Might asked, "So, who do you think is going to win?" As the Students walked through the gates training ground and the Winx walked to the gates on the other side of the training grounds.
"Izumi told me. That she has already seen the outcome." Said Roxy, as she stood beside everyone in the observation tower. Causing everyone to turn to Roxy with a look, that said (when did you get here?) "I was asked by Izumi to keep an eye on the pixies, pets and Eri. Well mainly keep an eye on the pets to make sure they do not wonder off or cause trouble."
"Well, whatever the outcome is." Said Nezu, getting everyone's attention. "I'm certain the match will certainly be interesting." Causing Inko and Roxy to gain a concerned expression and start worrying about the match. Since they had a feeling that the match wasn't going to end in a good way.
Winx side of the training ground.
"Ok, here's what I know about my former classmate's Quirks." Said Izumi, as she stood in front of them. So, Izumi began explaining the quirks of class 1A. "Unfortunately, I do not know the Quirks of the other 23 students." Getting a nod from the rest of the Winx.
"So, do we have a plan?" Asked Aisha, to see if anyone had a plan.
"Knowing Bakugou. He'll come after me. Since I'm the biggest threat to his ego." Said Izumi, pointing out Bakugou's ego. "So, here's the plan." So, Izumi began explaining her plan. They would fly to the students. Once they were close enough, they would shrink down and hide in the trees. Then she would get Bakugou to follow or she'll chase after him, if he had abandoned the group by the time they had arrived. While they took on the rest of the students and if they started getting pushed back. Then they can use their other transformations to even the odds a bit. Tecna was thinking over the plan and it didn't sound like a bad idea.
"Are there any problems with the plan?" Asked Izumi, as they thought over her plan. Everyone shook their heads or said that they didn't have a problem with the plan. Then Flora asked, if anyone besides her has noticed that someone has been letting off the feeling of magic.
"Come to think of it. I have been feeling it too." Said Musa, thinking that they might need to change their plan. If they might have fight someone with untrained magic.
Bloom looked at them. "I say, we continue with the original plan and make changes, if we do have to fight someone with magic." Getting a nod from them. "Okay then. Ready?"
Everyone smiled. "Magic Winx! Enchantix!" they said, as they transformed into their Enchantix and flew off towards where the students were.
After the students had entered the training ground. They began putting the beginning of their plan into action. While Shoji, Jiro and Nejire kept an eye out in case the Winx arrived at their location. Unknown to the students, none of them had bothered to do their research on the legends involving fairies or they would have realized that the Winx had shrunk themselves and were watching from the trees. While Bakugou began walking off in some random direction, wanting to fight Izumi for no apparent reason.
"Well, guys. While we wait for Izumi and her friends to show up." Said Sero, after 20 minutes of waiting. "So, what do we know about fairies?" As he tried to start up a conversation, while they waited for their opponent to show up.
"Well, Sero. According to the legends. Fairies can live in many environments as long as the environment is unpolluted." Said Momo. In the background you can swear that someone was laughing at this fact, even though it was true in some cases. "They can be as big as a normal person or be as small as a mouse. Some of them have been known to live in things like trees." Which caused some of them to start thinking that they were being eavesdropped on right this second by Izumi and her friends.
Meanwhile from where the teachers and the rest were watching. A few things were happening. Aizawa was currently thinking up ways to teach his students how to observe their surroundings. Since he figured out where the current conversation was going. While Miss Griffin snickered at what the students had begun to realize where the Winx were hiding. Saladin was wondering how the students were going to react now that they've lost the element of surprise. While small talk had started a betting ring, which ended with someone placing a (what are the chances of that happening) bet.
As some of the students and Sero started looking at the trees around them. Sero said "Y-y-y-y-you mean to tell me that they could be in the trees right now? Eavesdropping on us."
"Of course. They could be doing that right now. Why?" Said Momo. Before she realized what she had just said and started looking around the trees too. Tsuyu started eyeing a tree suspiciously since she had noticed that one of its branches would shake every once in a while. As if something was on the branch and began walking towards the branch.
Meanwhile on the branch. The girls were talking about what plan they should come up with, from when they had overheard the class 1-A, 1-B, and the Big 3 plans. And had seen some of the Quirks from the 23 students that they didn't know about.
"So, do we have a game plan now?" Asked Stella, starting to get annoyed from all of the planning.
"Stella. We only know the quirks for class 1-A." said Aisha, starting to get annoyed. "And we haven't seen some of the Quirks that we haven't seen in action yet. So, we have to plan carefully. While we scout out the rest of the students Quirks." Getting a nod from Izumi, before she noticed Tsuyu looking at them and gained a look that said they've been found out.
"Um, Izumi. Is something wrong?" asked Musa, as Izumi started pointing behind Aisha. Which caused them to turn around and see Tsuyu looking at them. Causing them to freak out a little.
Before Izumi ran in front of the Winx. "Girls, close your eyes!" Which caused the rest of the Winx to close their eyes. Along with causing Tsuyu to gain a curious look. "I'm sorry, Tsu." Whispered Izumi, as she unleashed a Flash Quirk. Which caused Tsuyu to fall out of the tree, covering her eyes after taking a pointblank flash of light to the eyes. Followed by the Winx scattered in different directions.
In the viewing center. Everyone could only gain a pained look, after seeing Tsuyu fall out of the tree, covering her eyes. Timmy told them that Izumi most likely used a Flash Quirk and that Tsuyu took the Quirk without having time to prepare for it. It was only bad enough to stun Tsuyu enough for her to fall out of the tree. While the Winx either separated and got ready to fight or to regroup.
Upon hearing that, Izumi uses a Flash Quirk. Since Izumi had labeled her Quirk as Superpower. Which raised questions on how Izumi had gained a Flash Quirk.
While Recovery Girl could only pinch the bridge of her nose as she watched. Getting a feeling that by the time this match was over her office was going to be packed. While Nezu started coming up with ideas for more classes for the hero course students to take.
Upon seeing Tsuyu fall to the ground covering her eyes. Temporary taking her out of the fight, while her vision recovered. Followed by the Winx scattering in different directions. In the process Monoma somehow had a flower pot and a frying pan dropped on his head, taking him out of the match, by knockout.
Which caused the students first plan to go up in smoke. As they began following the Winx in different directions. While Izumi began her plan to fight Bakugou one on one. Somewhere away from the other students and flew after him.
"So Mirio. What do we do?" asked Tamaki, concerned for their victory, as he faced a tree, While Nejire went to check up on Tsuyu. Since that flash of light had left her with temporarily blindness.
"I say, we take this opportunity to observe our opponents and help our fellow students escape. If the odds take a turn for the worst." Said Mirio, getting a nod from Nejire and a shaking Tamaki. "Since they could use this battle to study their opponents and learn how to defeat them. Also, Nejire. Do think you can stay behind and watch Tsuyu for us?" He asked, getting a nod from Nejire. Before he and Tamaki ran off to help their fellow students. While Nejire continued to be concerned about whether or not Tsuyu's eyesight would be returning or not.
The group that was chasing Stella had finally caught up with her.
"I got her. Dark Shadow!" Said Tokoyami, sending a shadow-like creature at Stella.
"As if that's going to work. Ocean of Light." Said Stella, smirking as she began glowing with light. Which caused Dark Shadow to flinch and weaken at the light that Stella was letting off. Before retreating back into Tokoyami's cloak to get away from the light. Before she had to start dodging lasers. When she turned around, the only thing she could do was have her eye twitch at what she saw.
"Allow my sparkle to brighten up your day madam." Said Aoyama, which caused Stella's eye to start twitching even more. Before he started firing his laser even more.
"Listen here, diamond prince. There's only enough room for one of us, who can out sparkle the other and that's me." Said Stella, as she weaved in and out of his laser blasts. "In fact, here's a mirror to get my point across." As she conjured up a mirror and deflected a laser blast. Where Toru was barely able to avoid the laser from where she was chasing Musa and Tecna.
Then Shihai appeared from a shadow and attempted to jump Stella. Only to get trapped in a cage made of light made by Stella. Preventing him from using a shadow to escape.
Before she saw Mirio's face sticking out of the ground. Causing her to freak out at seeing his face sticking out of the ground. Before she proceeded to start firing an energy blast at Mirio. Which turned into a game of Whack-a-Mole While this was going on, Tokoyami was able to coax Dark Shadow out and grab Aoyama and Shihai. Where they agreed to retreat to their teams still exposed base. When Mirio saw them escape, he phased back into the ground and escaped too. Leaving Stella to wonder where they went. Before deciding to fly off and the rest of the Winx.
While Mirio appeared beside Tokoyami, Aoyama, and Shihai, scaring them. Before he told them to regroup back at their compromised base. While he went off to help any more students, who needed it. Before he would send them off to regroup with the others as well. Which they all agreed on and went their separate ways.
While this was going on. Aisha was able to stun both Kirishima and Tetsutetsu, by using her Morphix and 2 trees to make a makeshift slingshot. After the 2 came charging at her in an attempt to punch her. Where the 2 stretched the Morphix to the point where it could only launch the 2. Which resulted in the 2 colliding with a bunch of trees. Trapping and knocking out both of them for a while.
She was currently in close combat with Kendo. When Yui and Nirengeki attempted a combined attack. By using Nirengeki's Twin Impact Quirk and Yui's size manipulation quirk. Which Aisha countered with using the same move she used on Kirishima and Tetsutetsu. Only to have said item used go flying into the blue sky.
Before Tamaki ate some octopus and before turning his fingers in tentacles. Which he began using to grab his fellow students and drag them into the bushes. Leaving Aisha wondering where they went. While Tamaki merely turned to the tree and told the still conscious to carry the unconscious students to their exposed base. While he continued to go and find the rest of the students, that they were going to regroup.
"Winter's End." Shouted Flora, as she turned Reiko and Hiryu's attack into birds. Before she turned her head and saw Jurota charging at her in his beast form. "Green Luxuriant Ivy." As vines started wrapping around Jurota, trapping him.
"Hang on, Jurota. I'll free you." Said Togaru, activating his quirk to make a blade appear out of his arm to cut the ivy. Only for a shadow to appear over him. "Huh?" He said, as he looked up. Only to panic as an acorn came from out of nowhere flattened him into the ground. Before it bounced a few more feet and came to a stop. "What are the odds of a giant nut falling out of the sky?" Togaru added, not realizing that the nut was from Nirengeki and Yui's attempted combo move which Aisha countered with her Morphix.
Just as Flora was about to fly off and regroup with the rest of the Winx. When she sensed something beneath her. Before she could move, vines began bursting from the ground and began wrapping around Flora, entrapping her.
She looked to her left and saw a girl with plant-like hair. "I'm sorry. But my lord has asked me to fight my fellow creature of light." Said the girl, looking at her.
"I should be the one saying, I'm impressed. Since very few with nature-based abilities can catch me off guard like this." Flora said, which caused the girl to gain a confused look. Before the girl realized what Flora was saying. Along with figuring out that her quirk was at a disadvantage against her. Flora had politely asked the vines to let go of her. Before she flew off to join back up with her friends.
"I think it's time. We fall back to regroup and plan our next move." Said Hiryu, getting a nod from those who had been fighting and ran off in some random direction to plan their next move.
As for Musa and Tecna. They were having mixed results avoiding the students that were trying to either attack them, or ambush and capture them. Mainly due to Tecna asking Musa to help her make an ecomap of training ground Omega. So that they would know where everyone is. They were eventually able to escape, by flying high above the students. Leaving the students chasing them to make their way back to their exposed base to regroup and come up with another plan.
After they escaped, Tecna was able to locate Bloom and noticed that she was surrounded and may need their help. With a nod, the 2 flew off to help Bloom.
"Dragon Shield!" said Bloom, as she threw up a shield to shield herself and brace herself from the ice that Todoroki sent her way.
"Hey, watch it! You nearly froze the rest of us." Said Kaminari, as he and the others barely got out of the crossfire. Which caused Todoroki to grit his teeth, as he nearly caught his own allies in the crossfire of his ice.
(Meanwhile from where everyone was watching.)
"He needs some training to control his ice better. Since he nearly froze his own allies. Other than that, I'm impressed so far." Said Saladin, getting a nod from Griffin and Faragonda. While Aizawa took note to have Todoroki work on his control. While they were at the summer camp this summer.
"Though I'm more concerned about how the Winx are doing." Said Miss Griffin, causing Inko to panic slightly. While Faragonda and Saladin gave her a confused look. "I know that they're stronger together and can take on the students easily, with all of them together. But, a few of them are struggling due to the fact, that some of them are not used to fighting solo against multiple enemies." Getting a look of surprise from everyone. "In fact, Izumi could take on all the students. Since she is the fairy of Magic and Quirks. Which is making me even more curious to see what this world is capable of." Making everyone who hadn't known or heard about this info. Became kind of scared of Izumi. Started looking for her on one the monitors.
(At this rate. I'm going to have to use one of my other transformations, in order to stand a chance against them.) Thought Bloom, as she lowered her shield. Just to dodge a sound attack from Jiro.
Then she was forced to dodge at the very last second. Actual words from Manga Quirk, along with the horns that Pony had fired at her. Before she had to avoid an electric attack from Kaminari.
"That does it. Magic Winx, SIRENIX!" Yelled Bloom, as she transformed into her Sirenix form. "Lava Jab." Which she fired at the ground, surprising them. Since they weren't expecting the attack. Then she said "Spreading Fire." Which she used to both stunned or forced them to look away.
She then flew high above the trees. Before she heard someone say her name. Causing her to turn in the direction of the voice. Only to see Tecna and Musa flying towards her.
"Let me guess. You needed to use one of your stronger forms to give you some breathing room?" Asked Musa, looking at the ground and the students.
"More like needed the extra power to stop the onslaught of attacks. That were coming my way." Said Bloom, as she flew up to them. Before switching back to her Enchantix.
