This is a story based on Hallmark Channel's series "Chesapeake Shores" and takes place a few months after "All or Nothing at All". I did change some of the characters and their storylines. Sorry if this is not what you prefer, but it is how I chose to write the story. Still a work in progress! I hope you enjoy it!

Abby got into bed, remembering the special moment when her fiance, Evan proposed to her at their new future home. He definitely challenged her ever since they first laid eyes on each other on FaceTime. They have come from disliking each other to in love with each other. Abby feels so relaxed and at peace when she is with Evan, a refreshing change from her previous boyfriend, Trace Riley. He was always in love with his music career more than her. With Evan it is different because he knows how important work is, but he also loves Abby's daughters, Carrie and Caitlyn so much. Abby thought back again to his proposal when he proclaimed, "I love your daughters, I love your dad, I love the whole O'Brien family. But most of all, I love you. Abby O'Brien, would you be my wife?" He worded it perfectly and wonderfully. She really did love him and always will. He wasn't the girls' dad and wasn't trying to replace him. Evan knows Carrie and Caitlyn love their dad, Wes, but now they love Evan too. Abby turned off the lights and began to worry and get excited about the wedding day quickly approaching. She told Evan that she almost didn't go through with her wedding to Wes, but she's glad she did because she got Carrie and Caitlyn out of it. Now that she's getting married again, it's overwhelming but mostly exhilarating! The soon to be married couple already decided on the major things: the cake, flowers, the bridesmaids dresses, groomsmens suits, guest list, flower girls or sister Bernese Mountain dogs (Rosemary, the family dog and Daisy, Jess and David's dog), the ring bearer will be baby Charlie O'Brien (named after Grandpa Charles), he is Sarah and Kevin's baby boy and since it is January, all parts of the wedding follow a wintery color scheme with blues, silvers, whites, and all sorts of January colors. The ceremony will be held at the Chesapeake Shores Church and the reception is going to be at the O'Brien family house. Rosemary was all snuggled on the other side of the bed with Abby. Abby stroked her fluffy fur lovingly as she slipped her silk eye mask over her eyes and began to drift off to sleep

Evan was in his bed at the new house he'd surprised Abby with. He'd had his eyes open for quite a while, as he was the night owl. He was having all sorts of thoughts and jitters about the wedding that whenever he began to fall asleep, another thought popped into his head, making it hard for one to actually go to sleep. "If it's hard to sleep now, I wonder what it will be like the night before the wedding," Evan thought to himself. He tried to read himself to sleep, but that did no good because he didn't really want to start a book at the moment. He turned off the lights and decided to try an old trick, counting sheep. Evan got comfortable and began to count. "One sheep," Evan said as he did his best to picture a wooly sheep jumping over a hill or a fence or something. By twenty-five sheep, Evan was still awake and stopped counting altogether. "It doesn't work!" He groaned. "Three days until the wedding," kept pounding through his mind. With another day of wedding prep tomorrow, Evan just closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths in and out until his nerves calmed a little. Then, he kept his eyes closed and fell into a deep sleep.

At Sarah and Kevin's home, Sarah tiptoed on her fluffy winter slippers into the bedroom and said to Kevin in a quiet voice, "I finally got Charlie to sleep. I had to sing a bunch of lullabies but, it worked." "It's about time the little buddy hit the hay because it's 11:30," Kevin said, glancing at the clock. "Can you believe that he is almost six months old now?" Sarah asked, climbing into the bed. "I know! He is growing so fast! He's only babbling little sounds now so, I wonder when he will say his first word." "Well I was reading things and he should say his first word around his first birthday," Sarah explained. "I have to wait until July," Kevin said. "Kevin, don't you want to enjoy these moments right now? You know, live in the present," Sarah asked her husband sweetly. "You're right. I don't want to rush life," Kevin said, agreeing with his wife. "I'm so happy that Abby and Evan are getting married in three days!" Sarah added joyfully. "Me too. Almost two days! It's crazy to think that my sister will be married again. But, it's good to see her so content," Kevin continued. "Well your parents got remarried and now Abby is, just to a different man," Sarah said, "That was a beautiful wedding and I'm sure Abby and Evan's will be just as wonderful." Kevin switched the lamp off and said, "Goodnight Sarah. Love you." Sarah gave Kevin an affectionate hug and replied, "I love you too. Goodnight." The married couple shared a kiss.

In the cozy Inn at Eagle Point, Jess and David Peck were all warm in bed when there was a crash coming from the kitchen. David heard the noise and woke up suddenly. "What the-," David said, confused. "Honey, what was that?" Jess asked. "I'm not sure, we don't have any guests because we've been helping Abby and Evan with the wedding. I'll go take a look around," David said. Jess groggily mumbled some things to David as he walked down the hall and into the kitchen to discover the culprit. It was Daisy, their Bernese Mountain Dog. Apparently she had knocked over the trash can inside the pantry! David found Daisy standing on all fours, sniffing the garbage. "Daisy! What happened here?" David asked, clearly frazzled and annoyed to have woken up for this. David cleaned up the mess and got back into the bed after remembering to shut the pantry door. "So Daisy got into the trash can and knocked it over!" David laughed. "Oh that silly girl! I wonder why she did that?" Jess giggled. "I'm glad that Abby was able to find a maternity bridesmaid dress for me that goes with the color scheme," Jess said. "Yes. That was lucky. I'm sure you will look very pretty in it," David complimented. "Thank you, David," Jess replied. "You know, a little over last year, we were the ones going through all of the wedding chaos," David sighed. "I know. It's crazy to grasp that we have been married for a little over a year now. Maybe fifteen months," Jess added. "Something like that," David sighed. Jess stopped talking and David assumed she fell asleep, but Jess was about to close her eyes when she felt the baby move again. "David," Jess whispered. "Hmm?" David asked, half asleep. "I can feel the baby moving again," Jess said quietly. "Oh really?" David turned over and smiled at Jess and their growing baby. Jess was moving her hand gently over her stomach and said, "I never get tired of that feeling. I feel like it knows that we're its parents." David spoke up, "Well of course it knows. I think all babies know who their parents are when they're forming." "Yeah. Goodnight, David" Jess said. "Goodnight, Jess. Love you," David kissed the top of Jess's head and she replied, "I love you too." With that, the happy couple went to sleep.

I hope you all like how this story is going. The next chapter will be posted soon!
