Chapter 9: Elemental Nightmare Part 1
Picking up an hour or 2, after the last chapter. In the Midoriya's apartment.
"Well, is anyone going to say it?" Asked Musa, from where she was sitting, with her hand to her cheek. Already knowing where this was going, as they watched the news of the event.
"Let's just go. Before we're stuck for hours waiting for Stella to finish getting ready to go." Said Aisha, from where she was sitting.
"Roxy. Can I trust you to hold down the fort. Since I have a feeling that we're going to need Lovix for this one. And since you do not have this transformation." Said Izumi, as she started putting on her shoes. "Though I do have an even bigger job for you. Could you protect my mom and Eri. If anyone comes to do anything against us. Eri summons the superchargers and take everyone to U.A. If anyone breaks in. And mom please try not to faint on them." As the rest of the Winx joined Izumi at the door.
Then Inko walked up to Izumi and gave her a hug. "Come back safely." Whispered Inko, in Izumi's ears. Fully knowing that Izumi will come back. But, after Izumi's disappearance and her return. It was still hard for her to head out like this. Eri felt the same way, but something was telling her that the 7 would make it back, as the Winx teleported out in front of them.
After the Winx had left. "Don't worry, Inko. They'll make it back. The only thing we can do now is watch the news to keep track of them and tabs on the situation." Said Roxy, reassuring Inko. That they'll be back. Just as the Winx teleported out, in their Believix with their Zoomix wings out.
Meanwhile back at U.A. The staff were just talking about some things in the administration office. When Toshi received a message, about a storm of fire and ice near them. After a number of Pro Heroes failed to get into the area.
Though the U.A. staff could only watch from U.A. in horror and wonder how they could help from here. Though Nezu effectively calmed them down. By telling to just watch and see how this plays out. Though they could clearly hear the concern in his voice.
As for Fat Gum and Ryukyu. Well, they're still at U.A. recovering from getting drunk the night before. Which Recovery Girl wanted them to spend the extra night recovering. Were watching the storm of fire and ice.
As for the students, they could only look on in wonder or horror at the situation that was happening right in front of them.
While in a dark room. We find a man in a suit and a doctor, watching the news
"Doctor, I'm going to step out for a bit and put your new invention for a field test." Said a man, with a sinister smile. "It's time I have a small meeting with these fairies. Then once I come back, I want you to continue modifying your invention." While the doctor could only hand the invention over to the man.
Before he asked Kurogiri to open a portal for him. So that he can meet with these fairies.
As for All Might, he had just arrived outside the area of fire and ice. And attempted to get in and help whoever was still stuck in there. Only to find out that the area of fire and ice was too much even for him.
So, now here he was just trying to hold his buff form. While being interviewed by news crews and the paparazzi. When there was a flash of light and the Winx appeared behind him, with them landing on top of a car with a thud.
"Young ladies. I think you should leave and let the pro heroes handle this…" Only to get the sound of Izumi cracking her knuckles, with a look on her face. That said, (If you don't be quiet and let us do this. I'm going to pull rank. Both vocally and physically.) Which caused All Might to gulp at the threat. "Continue right on ahead. I'll let you help." Said All Might, trying not to anger Izumi. Due to her threat.
Then All Might proceeded to tell the news crews and paparazzi. That they were here to help. Though on the inside, he was really panicking at the current situation all-around him.
So, now here he was standing beside the Winx looking at the area of fire and ice.
"So, do you girls have a plan? For the current situation, before us?" Said All Might, as he asked the Winx. While staring at the area before them. Which was currently very evenly split down the middle, with one side fire and the side ice.
"Well after staring at, it. I might need to use one of my original Quirk Creations and our Lovix form." Causing All Might to stare at her. "And that's from judging by the size of the area affected."
"Hey, Tecna. Can you get reading of what's going on inside?" Asked Bloom, from where she was standing with the rest of the Winx.
"I'm trying to Bloom. From what I can tell so far. It's a combination of both magic and a Quirk." Said Tecna, which caused All Might and Izumi breath to hitch a bit. As they realized, the source of where this problem came from. Since they knew of only one person, who had a fire and ice Quirk.
"Shoto Todoroki." Was the only thought that was going through the heads of both Izumi and All Might.
"Then I think that it's safe to assume. That something happened to the wristband he was wearing to keep his Quirk in check." Said Aisha, from where she was standing.
"Most likely." Said Tecna, trying to understand how it happened in the first place.
"Okay then. From what we can tell something happened to the wristband. Causing Shoto's Quirk to go out of control." Said Izumi, as she and All Might walked over to join the conversation. "Is that what we can understand so far?" Getting a nod, from Tecna. Which Izumi could only sigh and pinch the bridge of her nose. Knowing where this was going.
"So, does anyone have a plan to deal with the problem?" Asked All Might, as he stood there. Not liking where the conversation was going.
"We're most likely going to have to go in. To put a stop to it." Said Izumi, as she and the Winx began to get a clear picture. Of what they we're going to have to do. "And I may need to use 1 of my original Quirk Creations. If we need the extra power." Which All Might and the other pro heroes could gasp in horror, at what the Winx may have to do.
Which devolved into a conversation of All Might trying to talk them out of it. Only to get the long- and short-term consequences of what could happen. Which made him very quiet.
"Okay then. Now that is out of the way. Give me some space. I'm going to give us some back up, for when we go in." Said Izumi, as a doorway began opening in front of them. While the rest of the Winx and All Might took a few steps back. "Tahu Nuva, Kopaka Nuva, Erza, Korra, Naga! Come out and give me a hand." As 4 people began walking out, followed by an animal.
The first figure to appear was robotic. Wore a red mask and silver body and shoulder armor. With orange limbs and red body, hands and feet. Along with silver broadswords, which were on its back.
The second figure was like the first. But had a white mask, with telescopic lens built into it, with silver armor. Though this one hand has light gray limbs, black hands and white feet. Along with wielding a silver bladed spear and a white shield.
The third figure gave them a sigh of relief. Since it wasn't a robot. Had scarlet red hair and brown eyes. Wore what could be described as European knight armor, if judging by the design, and the sword she carried on her waist.
The fourth person could be described as someone who lived around the Arctic and Antarctic circles. From her clothes alone. Though the thing, that made them gasp. Was the animal that had appeared with the person. Which could literally be described as a cross between a polar bear and a dog. By the looks of things, it looked like a successful hybrid.
"All Might. Let me introduce you to one of Izumi's original Quirk Creations. Heroes Call." Said Musa, from where she was standing. "It works by either summoning a doorway or using spheres. Which allows us to gain allies. When we need it. Though how they appear depends on the current situation." As Izumi walked over to the 4 new people to start explaining the situation to them. "Though she can only summon those that she has become friends with. And to let you know a lot of these friendships came from her portal accidents." Said Musa, trying to laugh. Only to fail at it, due to the situation. While All Might, plus the people either there or watching had their jaws on the ground.
"So, that's the current situation." Said Izumi, as she explained to the 4. Then Kopaka turned around and used his Akaku Nuva on the areas of fire and ice to scope in on it.
Meanwhile, while we wait for every hero and civilian brains to reboot. From the surprise, that such a Quirk could exist. Let's quickly turn back to Izumi and her explaining the situation to the 4 people. That she had just summoned
"Well, that purposes a challenge." Said Kopaka, in a cool calm voice, as he looked at the storm of fire and ice. Before he noticed 3 people in the center of the whole thing. "Though judging from where the 3 are positioned at the center of the area. I think it's safe to say you most likely want us to split into 3 teams to get to them. Am I correct?" As he pondered on the situation. While Tahu could only give him a hmp, obviously not liking the feeling of working with Kopaka.
"And I think it's safe to assume. That the one causing the area to be covered in fire and ice? Is it causing me to sense magic?" Asked Erza, eyeing the area. That the group was going to go into. "Explain?" Asked Erza, in a very intimidating voice.
"Then let me explain the last few days." Said Izumi, the last few days. Which she started explaining, to the 4 of them, the week or so. To say dealing with the chaos of the past week. Was quite an understatement to them. "So yeah. That's how the past week went." Izumi said, with a sigh.
"Talk about being a known magnet for order and chaos?" Said Korra, trying to lighten up the mood. Which got facepalms from everyone. While Izumi could only roll her eyes.
"You're not helping the situation at the moment." Said Izumi, as she turned to the 4 of them. "So, are you in? Cause I can send you back. If you do not want to. I can send you back" Which made the 4 of them think about it. Eventually the 4 of them agreed to help. Though Izumi had to be stubborn with Tahu and Kopaka.
Eventually it took an hour to get everyone ready to go inside. Plans were made as well. First, they were going to split into teams. Team A, was Tahu partnered with Erza Scarlet in her Flame Empress Armor. Along with Bloom, Stella and Aisha. Who would take the fire side. Team B was Kopaka with Korra and Naga. With Flora, Tecna and Musa, who would be using their Lovix forms. Who would take the ice side. Team C, would be Izumi, with her bonded fairy animal Roast. Though Roast did, surprise everyone there or watching what was going on.
Each person going in was given 3 wristbands each. So, in case some were destroyed. They can have extra on them. Along with Izumi giving the Winx, Erza and Korra, an extreme version of a fire and ice resistance Quirk to protect them from the conditions of the areas. Which would disappear once the problem was over with.
"All Might. Wish us luck." Said Izumi, after the group of 12 had finished preparing. "Though, after this we may need some things.
"Certainly. I'll get the call out post haste." Said All Might, from where they were standing. As Izumi handed him a list of the most likely stuff that was needed. Which were ambulances, rescue teams, fire fighters, and body bags. The last thing requested surprised, All Might the most. When he asked Izumi, all she could say, that it was for the people that didn't make it. Which painted a clear enough picture for him to understand.
Then he placed his hand on Izumi's shoulder. "Make sure you come back. I do not need you dying on me. When you just got back." He said to her, since he didn't need her dying on his conscience. After she disappeared at the USJ. And it would haunt him, after his mentor Nana Shimura died in front of him.
"Don't worry, we'll make it back. We did save the Magical Dimension for 8 years straight." Said Izumi, as she stood there. "So, have faith in us and we'll get the job done. Oh, and this is for you to hide your true form, until we get back." Which All Might gained a confused look, as Izumi cast a Glamor on him, to prevent the public from finding out. "It's a Glamor aka an illusion. So, you're not wasting time in your buff form." Izumi whispered in his ear. Before running over to the group, that had been patiently waiting for her to finish her conversation with All Might
Before he grabbed her shoulder, causing her to look at him. Taking a deep breath. "I do not know how to put this." Said All Might, as he stood there. "But I want this incident to be your and the Winx debut on this world. Remember you're representing the Magical Dimension. And I want this incident to be your debut as this world's Guardian Fairy." While making Izumi nod in understanding. Before running off to. While, All Might went over to the police chief and the pro heroes and began explaining everything they needed from the list. Got some complaints though, from the police and pro heroes. Though they knew better than to question the number 1 pro hero though. Though some were still going to arrest the group, that had gone in. Due to the vigilante law
"So, is everyone ready to go?" Izumi asked, getting a nod from everyone. "Then let's get started. Because I have a feeling, that this will be our big debut here on this world." As everyone began making their way into their respective areas.
All around the nation. Everyone had their eyes glued to their tv sets or monitors. Watching with baited breath or praying silent prayers, that the incident be resolved as fast as possible. At the disaster, that was happening before them.
That surprise only grew when a group of fairies appeared. Followed by 4 more people appearing and what could be assumed is a polar bear dog. Finally, what could be assumed is a dragon phoenix appearing as well. Followed up by All Might and the green haired fairy having a conversation. Before they went their separate ways, with the fairy and her group heading into the area. While they saw All Might begin talking to people, about something.
Then once everyone was on their way. A person from the news ran over to All Might to ask him some questions about the green hair girl and the group that went in. With a sigh, All Might explained that the green haired fairy was their world's guardian fairy. That she and her friends were currently their best bet at solving their current problem. He even said, he can't interfere. Unless he wanted to lose his job as a pro hero. Which made people gasp at what he said.
Followed by him saying that the guardian fairy's job was to watch the world. That could also mean anyone who tries to arrest her or her friends for being a vigilantes. Could be labeled as a threat to the planet. Since it's her job to keep everything in check. This also meant that she wouldn't be taking sides. Unless the situation was bad enough. That she had to take a side. Which made a lot of people gulp, at the thoughts that were beginning to run through their heads.
While All Might continued his interview with the news crew. We currently find Tahu, Erza, Bloom, Stella, and Aisha. Carefully making their way through the fire side, via a cracked sidewalk,
"Ugh. What's that smell?" Said Stella, asking the question, to what some of them were smelling. As Erza and Aisha joined in covering their noses.
Before Bloom sniffed the air and covered her nose. Recognizing the smell, right away, from the version of earth, that she grew up on. "That would be the smell of fresh asphalt, Stella." Said Bloom, as she looked at them.
"Well, it's a very putrid smell." Said Stella, trying not to gag at the smell.
"Oh, trust me, Stella. I don't like the smell either." Said Bloom, trying her best to ignore it. "In fact, it's one of the smells that I still don't like either." Said Bloom, trying her best to ignore the smell. "Since I've seen and smelled, what fresh asphalt is like." Before Erza noticed something out of the corner of her eye and started walking over to it.
"You guys may want to put the conversation on hold for a bit." Said Erza, from where she was standing.
Causing them to run over to where Erza was standing. Only gasp in horror. Because in front of them, were the remains of a dead person trapped in asphalt and burned alive. While Tahu could only narrow his eyes at what was right in front of them. Because what was in front of him, was something that made him tighten his fist. Knowing that they failed to save someone. Though Erza had more self-control, she couldn't bare to look at the sight in front of her. And kept her down, trying to hide her face from everyone and tried to give the person a moment of silence. Though Bloom, Stella, and Aisha became a bit green around the gills.
"I think I'm going to puke." Said Stella, as her face turned green. As she looked at the sight in front of them.
"Me and Bloom, are in the same boat as you Stella." Said Aisha, as she tried to keep some self-control. At the sight, in front of them. While Bloom agreed, at the sight in front of them. Though she made a mental note, to tell All Might to make sure. That the people, who didn't make it out got a proper burial and had their respects paid as well.
"So, what now?" Asked Stella, from where they were standing.
"We keep moving forward." Said Tahu, from where he stood. "We shouldn't let this one failure stop us from moving forward." Acting like the leader, he was supposed to be.
"He's right. Our goal is to get to the center of the problem and put a stop to this mess." Said Erza, as she raised her head, with a face full of determination. "And we can only allow their sacrifice to act as a reminder of the current situation at hand." Receiving a nod, from the Winx. Which told Erza that the important thing now was to put a stop to this mess. And save any more survivors, along the way. While making sure to avoid the asphalt at all costs.
As for Kopaka, Korra, Naga, Flora, Musa and Tecna's side. The trip was going as well. Watching their step on ice and being careful, when they need to be. Though some of them were getting on each other's nerves. It was a mostly normal trip so far. Until they came upon a group of frozen bodies.
"What happened to them?" Asked Korra, surprised by the bodies frozen in ice.
"They're frozen in ice. That's the most logical conclusion of what has happened to them." Said Kopaka, from where he was standing zooming his telescopic lens on his mask. "Was that while trying to escape. They were hit by a wave of ice, freezing them in place." Before he activated his mask, allowing him to see through the ice. He made a discovery. Before he lowered his head, with a look, that said it wasn't good.
"Is it really that bad?" Asked Tecna, raising an eyebrow. Where she got a nod from him. Where Flora and Musa gasped in horror. While Korra narrowed her eyes in determination, not to fail again.
"Well, some of them are still alive." Said Kopaka, as he stood up. "But I'm not sure, for how much longer. That they'll be safe and alive in the ice." Giving them a reason to hurry up and put an end to the mess. Before more people either suffer or die from the situation. Though they made a note to tell the Pro Heroes, that there may be people in a delicate situation. And will need to get to the hospital as soon as possible.
As for Izumi and Roast. They were making their way very carefully. Through the area that they were going through. Since their area was split between fire and ice. Which meant melted asphalt and fire on one side. And snow, ice and slippery surfaces on the other side. Which also made traversing these areas even more dangerous to them. Since with one wrong move they could be in serious trouble.
It wasn't until Izumi and roast had rounded a corner. That they noticed a man standing there, some sort of helmet. In a way, that said he was expecting her to arrive.
Followed by her noticing that Roast had started growling in response to this man's presence. As if he could clearly tell that he was a threat.
"Hello, Izumi. I've been expecting you." Said the man, which caused Izumi to narrow her eyes in response. "Because all I want to do is talk." As he turned to her.

Man, what a chapter of reveals. Not only did Izumi reveal one of her OC Quirks, that had she created. During her time in the Magical Dimension But she also summoned Tahu Nuva and Kopaka Nuva from Bionicle. But she has also summoned Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail and Korra and Naga, from the Legend of Korra as well. But what does All for One want from her. I guess all you can do is tune in for the next chapter of My Winx Heroes.
