A/N: I want to point out I started this, story earlier in the Fall than I did with my other crossover: Arashi Uzumaki of the Blue Plague, but still no where in the beginning, so if you want to know what happened in Blue Plague series before the point I used, you got to read the actual books. Just don't let kids read it.

I'm also censoring curse words as it's too many used in more than just saying usual ways that I can't ignore them all. At least with censoring I'm not going against my usual way of avoiding curse wordsof the Blue Plague series Tomas W. Watson, whose wife is Tina Watson. I should also tell you Watson always based a character after himself in his books, and in the Blue Plague series that's Bruce.

Finally, I don't own the Blue Plague series or the Naruto series or it's characters. But I do know the wife of the writer of the Blue Plague series Tomas W. Watson, whose wife is Tina Watson. I should also tell you Watson always based a character after himself in his books, and in the Blue Plague series that's Bruce.

if you see letters with '-' that's me sensoring curse words in case none of you realized that.

Blue Plague's Nine-Tail Fox's Son: The Fall

Bruce Leads Convoy of Semis and Armored Vehicles

Naruto was calmed down by time of the trip, but Yamato still got Bruce and Angela to decide for Yamato to come with just to be safe. Naruto did not argue as he have Yamato with him in case, he lost control.

It was 1430 when the supply team left the fourth location on the run. They had already dropped off five loads at the farm. Bruce was in the lead, driving the Hummer with the MK-19, a fully automatic grenade launcher. Danny was in the passenger seat with Buffy sitting in the middle. Behind them were five pickups with trailers and a diesel forklift with a boom arm. This was the gathering group. Matt, Conner, and Jake were at the rear in a Stryker. They had left the Beast because Mike was mounting a machine gun on the roof.

The fire team was responsible for protection, but since no blues had been seen near the farm, they took turn helping load the trucks. They had finished gathering all the lumber at the construction sites within a twenty-mile radius. Then they hit every store thy came across even though half had already been ransacked. They had emptied four pharmacies. Three others they found were empty.

Sakura had made Naruto a list of medical supplies that by chance is found in both worlds with the help of Stephanie. They even found out a series of species of deer that can sub for Nara Clan Deer. But that require a different trip all together.

When the group hit a store, they took a trash bag and raked a shelf into it until it was full. Then the full garbage bag was taken to the trucks and trailers. The trucks looked like garbage carriers going down the road.

Bruce had emptied out two machine shops of all the stock metal they had. He now had enough metal to make more suppressors than they had military guns. Next, they emptied out two gyms of workout equipment. The gym at the farm was big, but they only had one of each workout station; that was all the family had needed. Before this last group got to the farm, you would have to stand in line for equipment. The new group had not even hit the gym yet. With the extra equipment, workout should move faster.

When the supply team had returned for the first offload, Bruce went to check on Debbie. He found her running one of the back hoes. She assured Bruce she was all right but wanted to go out with him on his run the next day. Bruce finally gave in and told her she could.

Bruce pulled his mind back to the here and now. They were getting ready to hit farms now, but there was one more store to the south. Bruce saw it on his right and he started slowing down. This store sat on the main highway and was also a truck stop. Bruce could see at least thirty big rigs. We so must check those out, Bruce thought as he keyed his radio.

"Same as last time: Fire team and scouter forward. We clear the area. Matt, you stay on thermal in the Stryker. Any contact, supply team you head home, we will follow."

He pulled into the parking area. The Stryker pulled in beside him, and Matt started scanning with the gun turret. The fire team got out along with Naruto. Seeing nothing, they headed to the door. The team flanked the door, putting their backs to the wall. Bruce keyed his radio to call out assignments.

"Naruto, you point. Buffy, you will be next guarding our right. Danny shotgun guarding our left, Jake at the back of the stack with Conner as guide and guard. I'll keep a watch on the outside and door," Bruce finished giving assignments.

They all smiled at each other. This was the first building Bruce was going to let them clear without him. Naruto holstered his pistol and moved to the door and pushed against it with his hand.

"Locked," Naruto said over the radio. "I'm going to try and pick it. Buffy, cover me!"

Bruce did not argue. Although Naruto was new at lock picking, thanks to his shadow clones he mastered it quickly and even able to beat Mike's record. In less than two minutes the lock was turned.

Naruto grabbed his pistol and eased the door open. Naruto sniffed the air before leading the team in.

Yamato watched with the supply team in amazement in the teamwork the fire team was showing. He was not too surprise Bruce had Naruto lead. Even before Bruce found them, Yamato been overhearing how animals do not seem to get infected the virus that been turning humans. So even without asking, he already figured Naruto was immune to the virus since he was a tailed beast. Yamato was here to make sure if something riles Naruto up, Naruto does not lose control, because then the group he was with was at risk. Not that Yamato does not trust Naruto, but demon instinct also acts as Naruto's fight-or-flight response, and even the best ninja cannot always predict what they would do in that reaction. The rage and power Naruto has that he loses control over in using that instincts is a side effect of the response due to him being a tailed beast.

What amazed Yamato more was how much trust not only Naruto has in this group, but the group has in Naruto. As they can hear the group clearing each room of the building, it was clear they were using teamwork and trust. It was also clear why Bruce want intent on using Naruto as scout. It was not just to scout out the building, it was to lead the fire team safely using hyper senses only the Inuzuka Clan and Kakashi from the leaf could provide. Something Sai could not do with his super beast scrolls.

Twenty minutes later, Naruto had let Buffy called all clear. Danny told the supply crew to bring the battery lights because it was dark inside. The supply team moved the vehicles closer.

Bruce headed into the store. It was big and he smelled rotten food from the diner. Danny walked over to him. "Dad, this one store is going to almost fill up all the trucks. The storeroom for the restaurant is slap full.

"We're taking the liquor also. We can use it to barter with, if we need to," Bruce told her as he glanced around. They usually left the alcohol, taking just a few bottles. In this store, there were cases stacked everywhere.

"Well, the trucks will be full then," Danny said.

"Danny, you Naruto and Conner keep cover here. Jake Buffy and I are goin' to check the rigs." Bruce told her and then radioed Jake and Buffy to meet him outside.

Naruto summoned shadow clones and Yamato summoned clones made from wood, also known as wood clones, to help gather supplies. Then they heard over the radio Bruce asking, "Supply team, can any of you drive a semi-truck?" There were only two yeses. Then Bruce radioed back the plan involving him, Danny, Jake, Matt, and the two that said yeses were to take the two trucks with the excavator and the front-end loader, a dump truck, then three of the trucks carrying lumber.

"Naruto, you're driving the hummer back." Bruce said as Naruto been practicing driving every vehicle at the land. "Danny, how long will it take to empty the store."

"Dad, this is a big a- store, with that supply room for the diner. Even with Naruto's shadow clones and Yamato's wood clones, it will take us a while," Danny said. "Maybe an hour."

"Then get to it!" Bruce responded. "I want all these trucks back at the farm today."

"Okay Dad, we'll do our best."

By the hour mark, Bruce called a stop and told everyone to load up. The store was close to being empty.

"Time to work," Naruto said grabbing his pistol.

No one question Naruto, even Conner called contact. "Blues south side, heading toward us, approximately fifteen," he reported as he started firing.

"Jake and Danny, head to Conner. Naruto, go to Matt and drive him south. Buffy and I are taking the north," Bruce instructed the team.

Naruto disappeared in a flash to Matt's location as everyone headed to the south entrance.

Reaching the front, Bruce could not see any blues. Bruce told the supply team to hold inside. It was not until Naruto drove up in Matt's Stryker Danny called. "Dad, they came out of a clearing to the southeast, not along the road. But that is not the sad news. They were using cover, trying to sneak up on us."

"Well, that's new," Naruto responded.

Bruce agreed as that was thinking on a whole new level. "Let us get the heck out of here. Naruto, you drive Matt. Conner, you take the hummer. Order of march: Stryker in the lead, three semis, supply trucks, three semis then the Hummer," Bruce told everyone, and they ran to the vehicles, except for Naruto who was already at his vehicle.

After the six trucks were started, Bruce called them move out. They were twenty miles from the farm as the crow flies, but it was forty by road. When the convoy was on the road, Bruce told Buffy to keep a look out as he turned on the CB then turned it to the base channel.

"Base, this is Big Daddy One," Bruce called.

"This is Base," Udon voice came back.

"I need Big Daddy Two on the horn now," Bruce said brusquely.

"Copy," Udon replied.

Bruce waited for a several minutes until Mike came over the radio.

"This is Big Daddy Two," Mike called over the radio; he sounded out of breath.

"Big Daddy Two, I need ten people that can drive semis. They need to be ready in fifteen. Get all of Naruto's friends up and ready too. We might need their help. Will lay out plan on arrival to Base, and Farmer Boy cannot be one of the drivers. Have area on east side clear," Bruce told Mike.

"Copy, see what I can do," Mike told him.

The convoy drove as fast as they could on the little roads, which for big trucks was not fast. It was 1630 when they arrived at the farm. Bruce called to have the gate open then told the truck drivers to take it easy and not hit the fence.

Bruce told Naruto to pull the stryker around to the back and stop in front of the barn. Naruto obeyed and soon Bruce pulled up beside him. Bruce got out followed by Buffy. Mike came running up to him as the other trucks pulled in slowly.

Mike looked at the trucks carrying the heavy equipment and lumber. Then he turned to Bruce, "Nice work, brother. I have twelve plus the family still here. That is sixteen drivers along with Naruto's remaining ninja friends," Mike told him as Nancy and Debbie walked up.

"Steve, go to the shop and grab a pair of bolt cutters and bring them," Bruce called over the radio. "Naruto, we need five shadow clones for protection."

"On it!" Naruto said.

"What's the hurry, Bruce?" Nancy asked.

"The truck stop on Highway One has over sixty semis that we're bringing here," Bruce said, then called the fire team and the two supply drivers to him.

"It's kind of late now, let's just get them tomorrow," Mike suggested.

"We had contact there. Those trucks need to be here today. There will be no supply run tomorrow, a patrol but no supply run. Get those drivers over here," Bruce told Mike then turned to Conner.

"Get six people that can drive the Strykers and the RG. Naruto can help with the strykers. That is what we will use to ferry us back and forth. You have eight minutes because we leave in ten," Bruce told him then turned to the group gathered around him.

"Look, I know some of you haven't been trained yet, but I need you. There is a truck stop twenty miles from here with over sixty trucks that I want here. I do not know what is in them and we are only taking the ones that are loaded. In quick glance, I saw nine tanker trucks and let us pray they hold fuel. Those from this world not trained will be guarded by a ninja and will stay in armored vehicles until your truck is ready. Once you and your guard is in your truck, you will lock the door and not open them until we are back here. If you do not want to go, I will understand. I wouldn't ask but we need those supplies and trucks." Bruce hoped all of them would go.

"Can I summon a shadow clone to help with protection?" Konohamaru asked.

"He can use the jutsu properly," Naruto told Bruce.

"That's fine," Bruce agreed. "Anything else?"

"When do we leave?" Sakura asked.

Bruce looked at his watch. "Six minutes."

"Let's go then," said one of the untrained people.

Mike spoke up. "We don't have room for that many trucks here, Bruce."

"I know that, Mike. We are going to park them past the house on the dead-end road. Turn them around at the dead end and park them on the side of the road," Bruce told Mike as Strykers and RG pulled up.

"Bruce, it's only a mile to the dead end," Mike said.

Bruce looked at Mike, wanting to strangle him, "Mike, you can fit over a hundred semis in a mile."

Mike just huffed at Bruce. Ignoring him, Bruce started pointing at people then to vehicles for them to get into. Those assigned with a Naruto shadow clone were traveling all together with Naruto. Bruce and Buffy were the last ones in as Bruce told the driver to go. On the way to the truck stop Bruce called out the plan.

"When we get there, I want the Strykers on the north and south. Debbie and David will take the east. Nancy and Mary will take the west. Mike, Jake, Steve, and Matt will start opening trucks and hotwiring them. Start on the tankers and the last truck with lumber. Danny, Buffy, and I will start checking the trailers. If the trailer has something in it, we take it. We can take twenty-two in a trip. Keep on your toes and call out contacts. Each shinobi will escort their assign driver to their truck. Any question?" Bruce asked, finishing his briefing. Nobody said anything. Afraid nobody had heard him, he asked if everyone understood and everyone said they did.

They pulled into the truck stop and everyone went to the task they were responsible for. The convoy was pulling out in less than thirty minutes heading home. Dropping off the trucks at the end of the road, they loaded up and did it again.

The third time they pulled into the truck stop they only had eighteen more trucks to get. The others were empty. As the perimeter team moved into position, the blues hit them hard.

The calls came out, "Contact east," "Contact south," "Contact north," "Contact west." Bruce divided up his hotwire team to each post. Then Bruce called on the radio to those in contact.

"I need numbers and direction," he yelled over the radio. He needed to know where to send back up, which right now were him, Buffy and any shadow clone Naruto can create.

"North clear now, seven down," reported Naruto.

"West clear, nine down," Nancy reported.

"South, too many to f- count," Conner yelled over the radio as he fired at the wave of blues coming at him.

"East is the same," Debbie called.

"Hot wire team, south east," Bruce yelled over the radio as he took off.

Reaching the southeast, Bruce saw blues coming out of the store and the tree line behind it. Bringing his rifle to his shoulder, Bruce started firing on full auto into their legs, trying to get some breathing room. When his bolt locked back, he launched a 40mm grenade toward the doors of the store where the blues were still pouring out. The grenade exploded, sending shrapnel into the blue's legs, those in the front falling causing those behind to trip over them.

As Bruce slammed another magazine in, Naruto came over the radio, "Bruce permission to relieve Temari of guard."

"This better be good, Naruto? We really need protection for those less train." Bruce said.

"It's an idea of mine, but only Temari has the ninja tool to do it." Naruto said. "Just give me a minute to send a clone to relieve her."

"Fine!" Bruce was not in a mood to argue. He just kept firing burst at the blues' heads. The fifty cal on top of the Stryker at the south did not have a suppressor. The noise it was making hurt his ears, but Bruce just kept aiming and firing. When Bruce ejected his fifth magazine and ready to slam in his sixth, a Naruto clone appeared on the Stryker with Temari, who had a huge hand fan that folds up in a clip.

"What the h- are you up to Naruto?" Bruce muttered.

Temari pulled out her fan and opened it, revealing three full purple circles.

"Take cover!" Naruto shouted as though they were about to release a huge explosion.

"Wind Style: Wind Scythe Jutsu!" Temari yelled.

With so much noise going on, Bruce did not care that Temari yelled, but what shock him was what happened next. Temari gave a single wave of that giant fan of hers and a twister quickly formed with slicing wind formed. The twister stayed between them and the blues, but it did not matter. Blues were attracted by the sound of the twister and ran toward it only to be sucked in and sliced up by Temari's jutsu and thrown somewhere else.

Fortunately, Naruto warned everyone to take cover under their vehicles when the twister started sucking up blues (even in Louisiana they know what tend to happen to whatever is sucked up by tornadoes) because they did as blues were send flying everywhere. By time the wind died down chopped up blue parts were everywhere, including decapitated heads that were still moving.

Naruto-clone that arrived with Temari came out of the stryker and whistled. "Well, that went better than I hoped."

"What the h- was that!" Bruce demanded.

"Temari's wind scythe jutsu," Naruto replied. "Temari's fan is specially design by her village where she can create twisters using wind style jutsus through her fan."

"And you didn't tell me this before now?" Bruce asked.

Naruto shrugged. "You were the one who wanted my friends to get use to the weapons of this world. I better disappear so the real me know this was a success."

Naruto disappeared in a puff of smoke.

"We got to find more ninjas," Bruce muttered. "If there are more like Naruto's friends, I want to find them."

Bruce keyed his radio. "Report off." North, east, west, and south reported clear. Bruce glanced at his watch. The attack had not even lasted four minutes. Keying his radio, he said, "My team, get those trucks started. I want to leave this store. The prices are ridiculous." Then the family started popping over the radio, making him smile.

Mike came back. "Yeah, the sodas are flat."

"The bathroom was filthy before Temari destroyed it." Danny radioed back.

"There were no candy bars," Mary whined.

"There weren't even any video games," Jake cried out.

"They don't even rent videos," Matt chimed in.

Debbie called out, "Well, the boy at the checkout was kinda cute."

"He was probably gay, Debbie, to be that cute," Nancy replied over the radio.

"What are you guys talking about?" Sakura asked.

"It's a thing this family does to ease the tension," Naruto said, "You'll get used to it."

Trucks started up behind Bruce. Jogging around the area, Bruce tried to get a count. It looked like at least sixty to seventy blues had come out of the store. The store had been cleared, so the blues had moved in between pickups. Bruce guessed the total number (by heads he can see from Temari's jutsu) was around 350 blues. Looking at the brass casings on the ground, Bruce knew the ammo they had used was still enormous for that number but could have been a lot worse if Temari had not used her jutsu. But that is not what bothered Bruce.

The blues had waited for them to stop and get out. Then they had launched a four-pointed attack. The only way they could do that was if they had had watched them take the other trucks. They had clearly planned the attack. Bruce was not sure if the south would have held without the fifty cal on the Stryker and Temari's jutsu. He did not even want to think about what would have happened if they had used similar numbers on all fronts when they do not have the ninja support.

Mike called out on the radio that all trucks were started. All drivers were escorted, and the convoy was soon on the road. Bruce called on the radio for an ammo-expended count. After the last person reported in, he lowered his head. It taken five thousand rounds to take out four hundred attackers before having to rely on jutsus. By military standards that was great, but they did not have the reserves for that kind of exchange ratio. In the past engagements, the ratio had been three rounds for one kill. Now it was over twenty for one kill.

As powerful as ninjutsu Naruto and his friends keep showing off with each new member he had to remind himself that their chakra is like bullets in a gun. No matter how powerful the gun or ammo is, eventually you will run out of what you have available.

The group pulled back into the farm after parking the semi-trucks. Bruce got out of the RG-33L, thinking hard as Mike walked up to him. "What was the hurry to get home? I didn't even grab a beer at the store," Mike grinned.

"All they had was cheap beer. Don't forget, it's movie night," Bruce informed him.

"It'd better be a good one. I want to at least see some boobies," Mike told him.

"We can't watch that kind of movie. Too many kids. Plus, if I see boobies it will give me false hope of gettin' some and that is hard with so many kids in that bed," Bruce said.

"Well, let's watch a cartoon and at least laugh," Mike offered.

"Deal, brother. Let us go," Bruce said, slinging his arm across Mike's shoulder and heading back to the house, Buffy beside him.

A/N: Heads up, the next chapter is mostly Williams/Collins family thing as it's among the most favorite chapters of The Survival of the Blue Plague series, plus it involves a special moment for Bruce and Debbie involving the twins they adopted that I'm sure many parents who have adopted children can relate.
