A/N: I want to point out I started this, story earlier in the Fall than I did with my other crossover: Arashi Uzumaki of the Blue Plague, but still no where in the beginning, so if you want to know what happened in Blue Plague series before the point I used, you got to read the actual books. Just don't let kids read it.
I'm also censoring curse words as it's too many used in more than just saying usual ways that I can't ignore them all. At least with censoring I'm not going against my usual way of avoiding curse wordsof the Blue Plague series Tomas W. Watson, whose wife is Tina Watson. I should also tell you Watson always based a character after himself in his books, and in the Blue Plague series that's Bruce.
Finally, I don't own the Blue Plague series or the Naruto series or it's characters. But I do know the wife of the writer of the Blue Plague series Tomas W. Watson, whose wife is Tina Watson. I should also tell you Watson always based a character after himself in his books, and in the Blue Plague series that's Bruce.
if you see letters with '-' that's me sensoring curse words in case none of you realized that.

Blue Plague's Nine-Tail Fox's Son: The Fall
The Beginning of Debbie's Preparations
It was 1700 the next afternoon when Bruce led his patrol home. They were all riding horses, which was the only reason the humans in the group were alive. Several times the blues had tried to ambush them or charge them when the patrol ambushed them. Only with the horses did they stand a chance to pull back and cut the blues down. It seemed since Paul cut down on the feed, they had been overfeeding the animals, the horses seem to be in better shape.
Bruce adjusted little SCAR across his chest. He was sitting on his solid black Frisian stallion that was seventeen hands high. It was a war horse of old, and when he rode it, he felt like a knight riding off into battle. Bruce called his horse Nightmare. Several blues had found out that Nightmare was not afraid of them as he rode them down. When a ton of horse steps on you it tend to hurt and if he keeps doing it, you tend to die. One blue had tried to sneak up behind Nightmare only to be kicked in the chest and sent sailing ten yards. Nightmare let out a neigh that Naruto confirmed was him laughing.
When they were a mile out from the farm Bruce called over the radio, "Base, Big Daddy One patrol returning, don't get trigger happy. Is the hunting team scoring yet?"
"This is base, we see you Big Daddy One and are waiting on you. Hunting team is out and starting to score," Pam replied.
That morning Mike had dropped off nine people at a two-story house fifteen miles to southwest. Then the group was put on the roof to see if they could thin the blues in that area.
Bruce's patrol had taken down two hundred since dawn when they left the farm. The groups were ranging in size from ten to fifty hit. When the patrol opened on them the blues would charge them, only to be cut down, until the last group. The last group they had to chase down to kill them. Naruto stopped the patrol when the blues started roaring, warning the group that the blues were calling backup. Sure, enough the pack they were chasing returned with more blues to help them. That ticked Bruce off as that require thought, planning and worst of all communication.
Leading his patrol into the farm toward the barn, Bruce stopped and watched his team get off their mounts. Buffy was riding a quarter horse the family had picked up for friends of the kids to ride when they came over. Naruto only rode his horse to save energy to keep up with them, but when needed, Naruto would jump off his horse and attacked the blues.
Bruce climbed off his horse and spoke to everyone. "I want everyone to put your gear up and tend to your horse. If you do not know how, watch others and do what they do." Everyone took care of their horse then walked them to the field to feed them.
The frame of the community building was already up since yesterday but there were still other work to do.
Naruto noticed Danny and Matt walking side by side now, talking to each other. They did not hold hands, but it was obvious they wanted to. Naruto was not surprise as he had a feeling Danny and Matt had a thing for each other.
They headed inside to eat during their shift of meals. With so many people, the clan had started eating in shifts in the game rooms. As the group sat down, Millie brought over plates for the family and sat them down in front of them.
Bruce looked up at Millie. "You don't have to serve us, Millie. I'm somewhat capable of getting my own food, as is Debbie," Bruce told her.
Millie just looked at him, hands on hips. "I know that, but in my kitchen, I does what I want. If I wants to sit down and feed ya I wills, do I make myself clear?" Millie asked with an iron tone.
Bruce pulled off his gloves and picked up his silverware replying, "Yes ma'am."
Mike, sitting in his chair the opposite end, leaned forward. "I told her the same thing and she threatened to spank me with a wooden spoon. I don't believe most people, but I think she would've done it," Mike told Bruce.
Millie yelled at Mike, hears you Michael, don't make me get my spoon."
"Yes ma'am," Mike replied to Millie.
"You should meet Carol Snead, Millie. I think you two would get along," Naruto said.
Bruce got a shivered down his back when Naruto say that. He will do anything Millie say if it means holding off Carol and Millie meeting each other if possible (he had no doubt those two will meet one day). He still remember the tongue lashing he got from Carol the night they stayed at the Snead Farm on the way home. Bruce had no doubt Millie can match Carol in doing the same, but he knew if those two teams up on him he would never stand a chance in arguing against them.
Millie brought the rest of the family plates of food and Danny was about to say something, but Bruce shook his head and Danny kept her mouth shut. When Millie brought Naruto his bowl of homemade ramen.
"Your friends told me you love Ramen, so I had that specially made," Millie said. "Anytime you want Ramen, just ask."
"Thanks, Millie," Naruto said.
"No, thank you Naruto. Whatever you did to them prisoners, it was a great dead. They been going to all of them people that were with me and Bill, begging forgiveness."
Millie walked over and filled Debbie's glass back up with tea and told her, "Girl, you needs to eat more if'n yous gonna hang with Bruce, going off to war."
Debbie just laughed. "I don't want to get fat, Bruce might not like me anymore."
"Girl, this boy thinks the sun rises just for you," Millie told her as she filled more glasses. "You can't weigh more than a hundred."
"I weigh a hundred and nineteen pounds," Debbie told Millie Debbie did not like being reminded how small she was. Debbie pointed at Angela. "I'm bigger than her." She sounded a lot like a teenager that had her feelings hurt.
"That's not saying much. Little Angela cannot tip the scale no mores than ninety soaking wet. I don't knows how her little frame coulda had a baby as big as Cade," Millie replied
Angela sat up, saying, "Well Debbie is a total b-. She can handle Bruce's big—" Angela stopped, looked at the kids around the table and just started eating.
Bruce blushing changed the subject. "Mike, how was the hunting team doing?"
"They're getting some good kills, but the blues don't advance until they turn on the radio. Mike answered. Jake had rigged up a radio to play recorded voices and screams that the hunt team had put in a car with the windows rolled down. The team could operate it with a remote control.
"That's nothing new. They practically did the same thing when we first started hunting them," Naruto said.
"They're still getting smarter though," Bruce argued.
Stephanie spoke up. "Bruce, they're following predictable animal behavior. I feel they will end up at the level of chimps. Chimps are some of the most aggressive hunters in the world."
"I know that, Stephanie, but chimps takes years to learn hunting tactics that these a- are learning in months." Bruce told her.
"Bruce, the higher areas of the brain are dead. They will learn to use bludgeoning weapons like chimps but the areas that make us human with complex thought are dead."
"No offense Stephanie, but I have to side with Bruce on this. I can understand what the Blues are roaring about out there, and it's not primitive levels of communication as you put it," Naruto said. "Their higher brains might be dead, but they're learning their place in the world too quickly."
Stephanie sighed. "So, but I still don't think they will learn to use bludgeoning weapons and that's it. But it could still thousands of years they might get the higher brain functions back."
"Well, now we know we have to exterminate them from the planet. Once they can fight like us, we are screwed," Bruce replied.
"Bruce, we have to exterminate them anyway. They see us as competition and will try to kill us. Infected might fear us but they will still try to kill us. I can see now that they hate us. When they attack us, you can see and feel the hate they have for us. Other scientist would laugh at me for saying that. But that is what I feel," Stephanie told him, expecting Bruce to laugh at her for saying something so stupid.
"Stephanie, I'm proud of you. You followed your gut feeling and you are right, they hate us. This is going to be a battle of the species. Not only do we have to worry about blues, but also other humans—I use that term loosely—that want to rule us," Bruce told her, and she smiled at the compliment.
The group made small talk and got updates on construction from Paul. Then Bruce and Mike went to sit in the theater room in their recliners. Debbie kissed Bruce and told him she was going to take a shower. Bruce and Mike joined in with Naruto with playing with the kids as Naruto was giving Cassandra and the twins rides and PJ and Joshua wanted to join in so Bruce and Mike helped the babies ride on Naruto's back until Buffy came down and told Bruce that Mama wanted him upstairs. Buffy said she was to watch the twins and PJ and bring them up in thirty minutes.
Bruce smiled as he took off to the kitchen to grab his weapon and run upstairs.
Naruto shook his head. He knew Debbie was up to something. He overheard her talking to Stephanie earlier about having Stephanie moved in with Bruce and Debbie in their room. Naruto kept it quiet since the women were talking in whispers, which told Naruto it was not something they wanted to share yet.
Thirty minutes later, Naruto helped bring the twins and PJ to the room. Not wanting to leave Naruto's back without screaming, Naruto had to give PJ a ride on his shoulders. They came in to see Stephanie already there in Bruce's t-shirt and boxers. Buffy obviously had no idea what was going on as she drew her eyebrows together. Debbie kneeled beside her.
"Buffy, Stephanie is going to sleep in here now so the girls and PJ will accept her into the family. If something happens to me, you, or Daddy, they must know someone is here for them," Debbie told her.
Relief flooded over Buffy's face. "That's good thinking, Mama," she said, then looked at Stephanie to give her some advice. "Don't get on Daddy's pillow or he might roll on top of you, and whatever you do, don't wear socks to bed. Daddy yells out 'caterpillars' and wakes up kicking the covers. He really freaks out."
Stephanie laughed. "Thank you, Buffy."
Buffy headed off to Danny's room. Naruto tried to put PJ down, but he started screaming in protest.
"Come on, PJ, I got to sleep in my own room," Naruto protested.
"Give him to me, Naruto," Debbie requested.
Naruto did as he was told, and PJ quieted down, but still looked grumpy.
"Sorry, Debbie. PJ and Joshua wanted horse rides with the twins and Cassandra, and he didn't want it to end," Naruto said.
"It's fine Naruto. At least they look up to you," Debbie responded.
"You have any advice, Naruto?" Stephanie asked out of curiosity.
"Don't expect me to come in and save you guys if Bruce gets you in one of his tickle tortures," Naruto said. "I'm willing to risk my life for this clan against blues, but you're on your own if he starts the tickle torture."
Debbie threw a pillow at Naruto with her free hand. "Go before I decide to leave PJ with you."
Naruto chuckled as he left the room.
Debbie got the twins and PJ ready for bed, silently praying her thanks for Naruto being in this world. She still had a lot of preparations to make and all must be done without making Bruce suspicious, but she had a feeling Naruto would be the one asset she had to worry about the least.
As far as Bruce knows right now, this was a plan of Debbie's to help encourage Jake and Mary to spend alone time together, and she was planning to continue with it, seeing Paul about finding room for Sakura Temari and Moegi tomorrow. But tonight, she was starting off her preparations.
"Stephanie, you're in the middle. You are going to have to lay claim to your spot. PJ likes playing with my hair during the night, so do not freak out if he does the same to you. The twins take turns who they snuggle up to during the night," Debbie told Stephanie as she pulled the covers back. PJ now was crawling from one side of the bed to the other and laughing at his game.
Bruce came out of the bathroom in his boxers as Stephanie and Debbie made room between the twins, giving PJ obstacles to crawl over. Bruce walked over to Stephanie, grabbing her legs, and pulling her socks off. "When I feel socks touch me in my sleep, it freaks me out," Bruce told her.
"Sorry Bruce," Stephanie said, but Bruce was not paying attention as he looked at PJ.
"Not as much as getting peed on. Let me tell you, buster, if you hit me with that d- bottle in the morning, I'll flush you down the toilet," Bruce told PJ. PJ just squealed and held out his hand, palm up, and closed his fingers like he was saying "I will crush you like a bug."
"That does it, you sleep in the dresser tonight," Bruce said, moving toward PJ.
Stephanie grabbed PJ and put him on the other side of her, taking Bruce seriously, "Bruce, you can't put the baby in the dresser," Stephanie told him as PJ blew raspberries at him, taunting him to try something now.
Bruce just got in the bed, turning his back to everyone. Stephanie rolled over with her back to Bruce, lying PJ down next to her as Debbie put a bottle in his mouth. Stephanie rubbed PJ's head as he drank his bottle. Looking up from PJ, Stephanie saw the twins and Debbie looking at her. Stephanie reached out and played with the twins' hair. The twins at first moved back but then moved closer and drifted off to sleep as PJ dropped his bottle, fast asleep. Bruce was already asleep and breathing softly.
Debbie and Stephanie were the only ones awake when Stephanie looked at Debbie and smiled. Then Stephanie felt the heat radiate from Bruce and could feel sweat on her back. Stephanie felt PJ start playing with her hair in his sleep and it made her smile.
Debbie whispered, "Not so bad, is it?"
"No, it's not but there is a fire over here. Bruce puts off heat like a furnace," Stephanie whispered back.
"Told ya," Debbie said referring to something she told Stephanie earlier when Stephanie came in wearing flannel pajamas. "Just kick the covers off or you're going to sweat to death. Later tonight everyone will be over there by the fire."
"I can't kick the covers off then Bruce won't have any on him," Stephanie pointed out.
"You're going to sweat to death then," Debbie whispered back, smiling.
Gritting her teeth, Stephanie took the blame for another few minutes before she kicked the blankets off. She felt the t-shirt sticking to her back and wished she had kicked the blankets off when Debbie told her to. Just then Bruce rolled over, throwing his arms over her. Stephanie's body became rigid as she looked at Debbie, who was laughing silently.
"Don't worry, Stephanie, he only bites once or twice during the night," Debbie said matter-of-factly as Stephanie's eyes widened. "I'm only kidding, Stephanie," Debbie admitted as Stephanie relaxed.
Bruce pulled Stephanie to his chest. Stephanie looked up at Debbie like a little schoolgirl, grinning and blushing. Debbie just smiled at Stephanie then became serious. "You will take care of them if something happens to me, won't you?"
"Nothing is going to happen to you, Debbie," Stephanie assured her.
"Please, will you help take care of them if something does happen?" Debbie asked her again.
"Yes, I will, Debbie. I will love them and protect them with my life," Stephanie replied, stroking the face of each child.
Debbie drifted off to sleep with a weight lifted off her shoulders. The beginning of her preparations was in place. Stephanie never caught on what was really being asked of her, thinking only of the small kids in front of her. Debbie got the feeling Naruto was still something she had to deal with, not as a threat to her, but as a savior that could be a problem. But for now, she too drifted to sleep.
