The only Perfection
Is the Balance of Good and Bad
Of hate and love
Of sadness and Joy
Of Imperfection
?
Well, that's sad.
I really thought that he'd live longer than that.
I admit the awakening of Azrael surprised me, Gamer 33's death is an unfortunate tragedy.
I could always revive him.
With a Blade.
No
Bringing one of your products to another world is forbidden by the rules of the Primogenitus
You forget I am one of the Primogentius, and you are not.
The Game is correct, had he been born or died in your world, then you would've been well within your rights to revive him. But he wasn't, he was in my world.
I'm sure you don't want the death of another Gamer on your hands.
I don't believe I will. Had you been paying attention, you would've noticed by now.
Gamer 33, still lives.
And to make sure it stays that way, Game, make sure he creates the robot from the blueprints.
He needs her now more than ever.
HUNTER
-nter
Darkness was all I saw…
Hunter
HUNTER!
My eyes snapped open, and immediately I regretted it, wincing I shut my eyes again as I shook off the flash of light that had blinded me.
'What happened?'
Then it all came rushing back.
The Torture
The Pain
The Terror
And the Titan, Azrael.
My eyes opened once again as I gasped, feeling my chest for the hole that was not there. Looking around at the forest around me, I saw no sign of the Grimm, nor any sign of injury on my body.
"How? How am I still alive? He ripped my heart out, Crushed it, threw me to the Grimm"
Unnatural Order
Huh? Unnatural order did this?
Combined with your darkness, Unnatural order is both a blessing and a curse.
You are nearly impossible to kill, you will survive any injury, and endure any wound no matter how grave or grand.
The only way to kill you is by removing or destroying both your heart and your brain, completely.
Woah, Unnatural orders a Deus Ex Machina isn't it?
Had it not been for the vastly superior regeneration powers of Darkness, you would've died.
So maybe not that much of a Deus Ex Machina.
Sitting up, I looked around the forest, my Gauntlets were gone, and my spear broken.
I then looked down at myself feeling a breeze and saw, or didn't see, my clothes.
Well, that's not good.
When I arrived in this world, I had a black shirt, and black shorts, nothing more nothing less.
Now I didn't even have that.
Would you like to learn the huntsman's skills of skinning, tanning, and crafting?
I shook my head, remembering the Who art thou quest, and the rewards it had given me. Looking in my inventory, I equipped my unique armor.
I wore a sleeveless jacket which was mainly black, save for the metallic golden line across my arms and shoulders, (Jins black vest from soul worker)
I also had black pants, which didn't have as much detail, save for the golden lining in the pockets and stitching across the top and bottom.
My joggers were black with metallic golden patterns, similar to the one done by Adidas back home.
Once I was done admiring myself, a concerning thought occurred to me.
What happens if these clothes get ruined two?
Unlike your original clothes, these ones can be repaired by using your mana.
Huh, that's neat.
If you wish to avoid another incident like Azrael, I recommend inspecting the blueprints in your inventory.
Shrugging, I reached into my inventory and looked at the blueprints. It looked the same as it had been before, shifting and swaying, unreadable.
- New Quest -
Build a Companion!
Objective: Decypher, and construct the machine depicted in the blueprints.
Rewards: Soulstone
I blinked, one reward? That's not a lot considering what it's asking me to do.
The reward itself is the companion, the Soulstone is only there to serve a different purpose.
I'm guessing it's not the soulstone from marvel?
No, the Soul Stone from marvel has a space in its name.
Okay…
Taking a deep breath, I walked out of the forest, summoned my wings, and was about to take off, when I saw the place where I had been tortured by Azrael.
- Flaw Gained -
Fear the Reaper
Due to past experiences and trauma, you hold great fear of blackbirds, especially Nevermores and Azrael. Just the mention of his name causes fear in your heart.
I gulped as my blood went cold, Fear of the Reaper wasn't kidding.
And it wasn't a flaw I wanted to keep.
To overcome a Flaw of fear, you must defeat or overcome what causes that fear.
In this case, you must defeat Azrael.
- New Quest -
Reap the Reaper
Objective: Take your revenge on Azrael for the suffering he caused you. End his life like he should have that night.
Rewards: Removal of Fear the Reaper Flaw, Grim Reaper Title, 10 Gacha Tokens, 3 EX Gacha Tokens, 100000 Credits
Great, a constant reminder.
I needed to focus, I needed a plan of action.
First, I needed a house or a base. Somewhere I could live while I was here, and somewhere I could start step 2.
Step 2, I needed to either find a way to decypher the blueprints or find someone who can. Then I can get to work on building the machine in the blueprints.
Step 3, find a way to escape should something like Azrael happen again, be it ender pearl stasis, or a different method of teleportation.
And step 4, level up like my life depended on it because It did.
'Skip Travel Vale'
My surroundings froze and vanished immediately, darkness swallowing everything until the lights of vale broke through that darkness.
And then Vale appeared as well.
"What the Oum?!" a man yelled in shock as I appeared dead smack in the middle of the walkway, but I ignored him and walked down the streets, looking around for a for sale sign.
You'll need to become a citizen of vale first.
You currently do not exist as far as the government knows.
Can't it stay that way?
Hmmm…
What if I got my own base?
You don't currently have the skill or the materials for that.
No, not making one, but more moving into some abandoned place.
So live in a rundown abandoned building?
Pretty much, but preferably a blacksmith, so I could start making the machine.
But where could I find one?
I know where.
I stared at the abandoned, rundown, weapons warehouse.
As it turned out, a while back, the Schnee Dust Company had attempted to start a weapons business, and while the weapons themselves were of good quality, they were far too expensive and required multiple purchases to actually be worth their weight, so the project had been a major fail.
But the Schnees failure would be my treasure.
Walking up to the door, I flung it open, revealing the massive amount of technology that had been abandoned and forgotten.
Honestly, I was surprised no one else had broken in and robbed the place.
That's because no one else would break into a Schnee facility, that was practically right next to Beacon Academy.
I glanced out the window, at the shining form of Beacon Academy, which was only around 2 miles away, or the length of central park in new york.
No one else plans to get into beacon academy the way I do. Do they?
No
With a nod and a clap, I eyed the building's interior. "Let's get cleaning!"
5 days later…
Once again, I clapped my hands, looking around happily at the now clean, organized, and spacious warehouse.
It had taken some work, but I had managed to repair and clean all the machines, holes in the walls, and even the air conditioning. One of the offices on the higher levels had been turned into my bedroom after I had bought a king size bed and several other items for personalization.
I even had internet!
Soo… game any idea on where I start the Companion quest?
The perks required to read the blueprints are the following.
Blacksmith
Engineer
Ethersmith
Ethersmith? What's that?
Ether doesn't exist in Remnant, does it?
No, it does not.
The Ether that is specified, or related, for the Ethersmith perk is a unique stat, like aura. While Ether itself is not a stat, it is a unique attribute or resource that is only found in one realm.
So then how the fuck was I, or anyone else for that matter, meant to read this?!
There are two viable ways.
First, Gacha Tokens are the only exception to the restriction of unique stats.
By getting a Gacha Token, that either gives you the perk, adds Ether to this universe, or summons someone with the perk that you need to progress.
The 2nd way is dungeons.
Dungeons are cross-dimensional worlds, linked to every realm and universe. Some come from none, like the common and uncommon dungeons. However Rare and above are always linked to a universe.
By entering a Rare or above dungeon which is linked to the universe with Ether, you will be able to gain the Ethersmith perk.
Okay, that's good. But if I need Ethersmith, doesn't that mean I need Ether as well?
The answer is the same.
Dungeons linked to the universe you seek will generate Ether, which you can collect.
Well, that's useful again.
Nodding with determination I decided to get the Engineer and blacksmith perks first, then I would get the Ethersmith perk.
Engineer and Blacksmith can be gained by forging machines, and weapons respectively.
Making a mecha-shifting weapon will complete both of your objectives.
You just need a teacher.
I tilted my head, sighing.
Who could teach me?
Walking outside I continued to hum and grumble, names popping in and out of my head.
But before I could dwell deeper into my thoughts, I saw a massive explosion erupt from the docks.
My eyes widened, and before I realized It I was running, summoning my wings I took off into the sky rushing to the docks of Vale.
BLAKE
Blake hissed as Roman Torchwick laughed. "You little girls. Pathetic all of you!"
Blake had believed, truly believed, that team R(W)BY, Sun, and Penny could've bested Roman and the White Fang. And it had seemed that her hopes were well founded.
That was until Adam Taurus, and a man called Mercury black appeared.
In moments the tide of the battle had been turned against them, Sun lay unconscious, Penny trapped beneath a shipping container, and now, they were all tiring.
"We won't allow you to commit villainy any longer!" Ruby shouted, charging at the trio and shooting at Adam, who merely laughed and cut it in half, "Please girl, none of you stand a chance against us. Against me."
Mercury rolled his eyes, as he kicked Ruby away, sending the little girl screaming into her sister, Yang, who grunted as she caught her, and looked up with a furious expression. "DON'T TOUCH MY SISTER!" Yang screamed, her hair becoming a raging inferno as she rushed at Adam. "Yang! NO!" Blake screamed in panic, seeing the villainous grin that grew on Adam's face, as he raised Wilt, and down it fell.
Blade met flesh.
And they all screamed.
As Yang's arm fell to the ground.
Grabbing the shocked girl by the neck, Adam drove his blade through Yang's stomach, before tossing her to Ruby's feet.
"NO!" Ruby screamed horror, despair, and fury ravaging her usually cheerful voice, her eyes started to glow with a silver light emitting from them. The ground around Ruby began to crack, and the stones float.
Blake's eyes widened as Ruby's feet left the ground and her eyes brightened.
A bright light erupted from Ruby's eyes, consuming all around them.
But as the light faded, and Ruby fell to the ground, Adam, Roman, and Mercury still stood strong. Dazed only by the light as they were.
"What was that?" Roman said in bewilderment.
"That doesn't matter, it clearly did nothing. Let's kill them" Adam said smirking.
The Trio stepped forward, and Blake stumbled to her feet. Determined to protect her friends, when suddenly…
"-AAAHHHH!"
Something fell down between the criminals and them, and as Blake looked on in bewilderment, a figure rose from the dust. "Ow, what the heck was that?" Blake's eyes widened, and her blood turned to ice.
It was him…
Just like before, every Faunus bone in her body screamed at her to run, hide, or bow and pray for mercy, but Blake held strong.
The Faunus looked around, taking in their surroundings, and froze when he saw Yang, his eyes widening with shock and a flare of anger igniting within them, as he began to head towards Yang and Ruby.
Rushing forward, Blake stood between the Faunus and her friends, "Stay back" she snarled, but the Faunus merely continued on his path. "Blake Belladonna, I am not your enemy. And right now, I am the only one who can save both Yang's life and her arm." Blake's eyes widened again in shock, "Who the hell is this?" Roman asked while Mercury's eyes widened with shock. The Faunus looked into Blake's eyes, a desperate, fearful look in his own, yet in them, there was no sign of hostility towards her, no sign of treachery, the only strange thing was a hint of… wonder. "Let him help her Blake. If he can save Yang, then I'll pay whatever price he has". Blake glanced back at her leader with shock, stopping at the determined and equally desperate look on her face. Nodding, Blake stepped aside, as the figure rushed to Yang, kneeling at her side. He didn't even bother to check her wounds, merely placing his hand on her neck, checking for a pulse. "She's still alive. Good." then he reached into his pockets, and brought out a single green bean, before placing it in Yang's mouth. "Come on. Eat," he said, moving yangs mouth in an attempt to get her to consume the bean. But it didn't work. "She's losing more blood," Ruby said, the Figure growled, before reaching into Yang's mouth and taking the green bean out. "Hope this works," he said, placing the bean into his own mouth before… he kissed Yang.
"Huh!" Ruby and Blake gasped in shock as the man fed Yang the green bean with his own mouth and tongue.
Breaking the kiss, the man looked down at Yang in worry, and Blake frowned, "What did you do? What did you feed her?" She asked, worried that they had caused Yang's death, yet even as her anger rose, something impossible happened.
A green glow was emitted from Yang, shining from every scratch, cut, and wound on her, even forming a green arm and when it faded, all of Yang's injuries were gone, even her arm had regenerated!
Even as they all stood in shock from what had just happened, Yang's eyes shot open, and she jumped to her feet. "Wowza! I feel great! That all you got punks?! Ah… Wait why's scaly here?" Yang asked confused as the Faunus stood to his full height. "My name's Hunter Aurum, not scaly," Hunter said, his voice hard. Yang looked at her body, and then her new and old arms. "We can chat later Scaly, right now we've got bad guys to bust up!" Yang shouted, her semblance flaring into existence, but Hunter held out his arm immediately. "No" his voice hard and soft at the same time, it was the voice of someone who had nearly lost something precious to them. "What do you mean no?" Yang asked angrily, Hunter bared his teeth, and looked at Yang in the eyes. "Exactly fucking that! No! You will not be fighting not anymore! You nearly Died! You lost your arm! No More Fighting! Understand me?!" Hunter yelled, making Yang step back in surprise.
Hunter's eyes had changed, they were not only filled with fear as they were before, but now they had turned into reptilian slits, lightning arcing within them. "But we can't let them get away with this" Yang said softly, shocking Blake, never before had she seen someone who could make the Busty blonde back down, and yet Hunter had done it with words and a gaze. "Oh, they won't," Hunter said, his voice dark and filled with fury. Turning around slowly, Hunter faced the Villains, rage igniting his eyes as he shook with a feral rage.
Blake gulped, a bead of sweat dripping down her face.
"There is no escape for them"
HUNTER
"There is no escape for them" I growled in rage as I walked slowly towards Roman, Mercury and Adam.
Each of them had committed atrocities, and each one of them was less than dirt in my eyes.
Roman was a lowly criminal, responsible for theft, murder, and who knows what else.
Mercury was an agent of Salem, an ally of Cinder Fall, he had been in the party that sought to take Amber's power and soul.
And Adam was one of the many reasons the White Fang had turned into the terrorist group it was today, he had made Blake's life a living hell in the end, and both in Canon and now, he had taken Yang's Arm, and nearly her life.
They would all Suffer.

Bearing my teeth, I continued my path towards them and summoned my scythe, Death Bringer.
"You should let the brats fight alongside you. Then you might actually stand a chance." Adam taunted, and I stopped, looking the Bull Faunus in the eye, "I don't need them to beat your lowdown, pathetic asses. You need them to stop me from tearing your damn throats out!" I yelled, charging at Adam faster than he could react, I slammed the blunt end of Deathbringer into his side, sending him flying with a sickening crack as I broke a couple of his ribs.
Turning my gaze to Mercury, I blocked his kicks, before grabbing his legs and smashing him around Hulk Style, before swinging him in a circle above me and tossing him into Roman.
Leaping at the two, I coated Deathbringer in Darkness, causing the black form of hellblaze to erupt from its edge. "Woah! Awesome!" Ruby shouted in awe. Roman barely had the time to block my attacks, only the interference of Mercury kept the duo alive. With a yell, I swept Deathbringer, causing a powerful gust of wind that sent Mercury and Roman tumbling, "DAMN YOU!" my head shot up as Adam leaped at me, his Semblance in full effect as he launched a large red air slash at me, narrowing my eyes, I sidestepped, avoiding the powerful blow. "You cannot win Adam," I said, before rushing at the Faunus, returning Deathbringer to my inventory, I yelled, "Hyeet!" as I spinning jump kicked Adam's swords from his hands, leaving him to fight bare-handed. "Let's see whos stronger" I taunted, knowing full well who was.
Me.
Adam made a smile between a growl and a smirk. Avoiding his sloppy blows, I began to snarl myself.
This was the one who took Yang's arm?
Someone so pathetically weak, managed to cripple a main character?
That's just bad writing.
Grabbing Adam's fist, I kicked him in the gut, causing him to double over, then I brought my elbow down on his neck, and he went limp.
With a scoff, I spat on Adam's back, before turning my attention to Mercury and Roman, who seemed to be surrendering. His arms in the air, his right holding his cane, Roman spoke, "We surrender. Just don't kill us" I rolled my eyes, did he really think I was an idiot? Allowing my gaze to shift to Yang, Blake, and Ruby, I almost immediately heard the bang of a gun from Roman. Raising my right hand, I grabbed the dust bullet and crushed it, only to be thrown back by the resulting explosion.
Right, fire dust exists.
"Hahaha! Sorry ladies! But you're hero's dead!" Roman shouted in glee, "No! Scaly!" Ruby yelled, 'damn you yang'. My head was ringing as I got out of the rubble, and exited the dust cloud to look at Roman and Mercury, who were now both looking at me in absolute fear. "Honorless Roman, completely Honorless. I almost regret letting you live this long" I said ominously, releasing a hint of my darkness as I spoke, unnerving the criminals. "Now, both you and Mercury get to suffer even longer," I said, as I summoned Deathbringer and immediately coated it in Hellblaze.
Vanishing from sight, I reappeared behind the duo and relieved Mercury of his robotic legs, and as Roman attempted to shoot me, Deathbringer flashed, and Roman screamed as I removed his right arm, and black flames immediately sprung to life, cauterizing the wound instantly. "Oops" I muttered, "Should probably fix that some time," I said as Roman rolled around on the ground, His aura somewhat intact.
It seems Hellblaze enchanted weapons ignore Aura. That's useful.
Turning my attention back to Mercury, who was looking at me with pain as his legs slowly burned from Hellblaze, I merely waved my hand, extinguishing the black flames. Crouching down to look Mercury in the eyes, I pressed Deathbringer against his throat, "Wield" I said darkly, activating 10% of my darkness causing the sealed demon mark to appear on my forehead, Mercury's eyes widened, and seeing hesitation in them I muttered, "The Queen, Salem, will not help you now. You failed" Hearing Salem's name, and the truth, Mercury looked down at the ground, "I wield". Standing up I chuckled, releasing my darkness, before walking over to Adam and picking him up, and tossing him between Mercury and the still burning Roman. Probably should fix that too, Snapping my fingers Roman stopped burnin. I looked up at the others when I realized with confusion Yang was trying to lift a shipping container.
"Pennys stuck under here!" Yang explained as I walked over to her. My eyes widened slightly as I looked under the shipping container, to see Penny trapped. Her face was undamaged, but the rest of her mechanical body may not be the same. "Step back and enjoy the fireworks, Yang," I said, and Yang nodded, stepping back. Crouching next to Penny, I sent a small electrical current through her by putting my right pointer to her forehead, slowly Penny opened her eyes. "Penny, are you damaged? Will your identity as an automaton or robot, be revealed should I lift this crate?" I asked softly, Penny's eyes widened a smidge, but she shook her head. Nodding I put my hands under the shipping container, and growled as I activated 5% of my darkness, before with a yell, I yeeted the shipping container into the ocean. "I shoot!" The shipping container then exploded once it made contact, causing a massive rainbow explosion. "I score!" I yelled releasing my darkness as I turned around to see an Ice spear shooting at my face.
Quickly moving my head to the left, the Ice spear sailed by into the ocean behind, and I saw an angry Weiss standing nearby, "You!" She yelled, waving at her I simply said, "Wassup Weissicle?" Yang released a laugh from the nickname, and even Blake chuckled, "Ruby! Yang! Blake!" Weiss shouted, rushing over to the duo, and facing me. "Stay back you-" but before Weiss could finish, I tossed my captives to her feet, and Weiss' eyes widened with surprise, and she glanced back up at me, confusion written clearly on her face. "Call beacon, and tell em you, and the Storm Bachelor, have captured one of the Queens Pawns."
A/N
Okay!
There we go, Let the Storm begin Chapter 5!
Now, for all of you who've been wondering, I admit, that I was copying Optimistic gamer revised, and once I realized that, I also realized that I will never be able to grow in the shadow of another.
So, I'm doing my level best to get away from copying that story, changing elements of my plan, shifting the focus, and hopefully this evolves into an amazing story.
As for the battle between Hunter, Roman, Mercury, and Adam, and how it went.
Well, Hunters already beaten up Mercury once, Roman's weak, and Adam got eaten by a nevermore in cannon I think.
So I don't think I altered their power too much, hopefully, I accidentally made them stronger.
And as to why and how Hunter was able to beat them so easily, it's simple.
His STR, HP, AP, and MP, are all insane, his HP's multiplied by 10 for pete sake, so I think he would be able to do this.
And for Hellblaze enchanted weapons ignoring Aura, it's just a nice little touch I added, because in the Seven Deadly Sins, Hellblaze is one of the most dangerous weapons and abilities.
I hope you all enjoyed this chapter, and I hope I'm not copying Optimistic Revised anymore because I feel like shit for it.
So I apologize to Milnir, and to anyone else who was offended.
I also recommend reading Optimistic Revised, it's a great story and was one of the main factors for me deciding to write let The Storm begin.
As always, you can always attempt to guess what Hunter's species is!
Spedyalarm out!
