Let the Storm Begin, Gamer 33

Quick warning, the first couple of chapters are basic copies of Optimistic Gamer Revised, I plan to fix it. So apparently I died. Kinda surprising. When I woke up in the void, I didn't really know what to expect, but I quickly figured something out, I wouldn't stay there for long. Now, armed with Magic and OP perks, I'm taking the world of Remnant by Storm. Male Gamer x RWBY Harem.

7. By Storm, Or by Blade? You Decide

It has recently come to my attention that Let the Storm begin, isn't a good story.

Now, there are those of you who love Let the Storm begin, and I thank you for your encouragement and support.

But there are also those of you who have criticized Let the Storm begin, and told me to delete it, with guest Dragonov going on a full rant about him hating writers like me and shitty stories.

But Nevertheless, there have been multiple problems with Let the Storm begin.

1st: there is no real, or rather, solid, plot.

Most of the time, when I write a story, I create and design a complete plot first, review it myself, edit it, improve it, and then let it settle for a while. When I come back, If I don't want to write it, then I don't, and I delete the Plot.

However, there is no solid plot for Let the Storm begin, I've been practically following and writing on a whim, with little to no guidance, which is not professional. Even though I do have plans for Let the Storm begins future, there are far too many holes and chasms to ignore in the story.

2nd: I'm terrible at writing RWBY

This isn't a well known fact, but on my Wattpad account, Eyeofcreation, I wrote an RWBY x Ultra Instinct Male Isekai story. While the Plot was far more developed than the plot of Let the Storm Begin, the writing quality was abysmal, and frankly embarrassing, so I did something I've only done once before and removed the story, never to see the light again. While I'm probably not going to do that with Let the Storm begin, every RWBY fanfiction I attempt to write never goes well.

3rd: My Gamer Writing skills are Novice

Most of the time, when I write fanfictions, I prefer not to have power levels, as I can't really write with them. Sure there's the exception of The New Destroyer of Universe 6, but power levels are basically never mentioned there. And writing Gamer Fanfictions, well, they're one of my only banes in writing, alongside Futa, OP, Lesbian, and villain MCs to name a few. This is actually the first Gamer Fanfiction I've ever really tried to write, and probably the last.

4th: It's first chapters, are basically a rip-off of Optimistic Gamer Revised.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again. This story's first chapters are a rip-off of Optimistic Gamer revised, and uncreative. Many of you have pointed that out, and I'm ashamed of it honestly. I never intended to insult Optimistic Gamer, or Milnir, and I feel like I have by writing a horrible copy of the story as a result. Multiple early elements of the story are frighteningly similar, or clones, of the Optimistic Gamer. Like saving Amber, the mysterious species, and even the running around and looking for bars or taverns to find Amber. That taints the story aesthetic and makes it nearly impossible for me to create my own story.

So I've decided to allow all of you readers, both criticizers and supporters, to decide.

Either, I can try and keep writing Let the Storm begin, or I can write a new fanfiction.

The New Fanfiction in question, would likely be a Xenoblade fanfiction, and already has a formidable plot planned, good characters, and I feel would be much funner, and more original to write.

I'm opening a Poll on my account to hold the answers, but I will also put PMs and Reviews into my consideration.
