Michiru is forced to stay at a relative's house which is occupied by heavenly goddesses, will romance bloom admist the humour and chaos during his stay? Will all of them visit Japan's Feudal era as well? Chapter 4 is rewritten. Michiru/Peorth as the main pairing, but two alternate endings well also be included as a bonus with a different pairing for each: Michiru/Urd, Michiru/Lind.

13. Heartache, Affection and Escalation

Chapter #13: Heartache, Affection and Escalation

"Lind? Michiru?" Inuyasha stated, poking his head outside after opening the door. "Belldandy says that supper's ready."

"We're just coming back inside, thanks Inuyasha." Michiru replied, waiting for his half demon friend to leave him and Lind alone so they could finish their conversation in private. "Is there anything else you wanted to discuss or tell me Lind?"

"No Michiru, nothing else." Lind shook her head briefly. "Thank you for your time and for being brave enough to share those matters on your mind just to satisfy my curiosity, I admit I shouldn't have pressured you to reveal everything, I promise I won't do so ever again."

"Its okay Lind, you were only concerned about me and there's a big difference between concerned and being nosey." Michiru replied understandingly to show that the Valkyrie didn't need to apologize or repent for her actions. "Besides, it's only natural for you to be concerned about me since we're both friends along with the fact that I'll be your student and you'll be my teacher starting tomorrow too."

"Yes, that's true, we'd better go inside and join everyone else now that dinner is ready." Lind said in agreement before turning around to head inside only to have the Kururugi boy dart passed her and open the door for her so she could go inside first. "Thank you Michiru."

"You're welcome Lind." Michiru replied politely as Lind stepped through the doorway, allowing him to follow and shut the door afterwards.

Once inside, Lind and Michiru went to go wash their hands before dinner and while passing by, they both noticed Miroku standing in front of Shippo, Kagome, Mara along with Inuyasha and several goddesses who were laughing their heads of at the poor monk's expense. Miroku was still stuck as a female thanks to the prank Skuld had pulled on him and all of them were taking full advantage of it by forcing Miroku to pose for photographs after Kagome tied the monk's long hair in a different style with ponytails, pigtails or what have you with different coloured ribbons. Mara was restraining Miroku and as if being Kagome's make over victim wasn't bad enough, the pervert was still dressed in a pink miniskirt and cheerleader outfit, this was sheer humiliation at its finest and even Michiru begun to feel some sympathy for Miroku even though many would say that the monk got what was coming to him or that this brief episode wasn't enough to answer for all of the lecherous monk's misdeeds that he had committed and had yet to commit in his mortal life.

"There you go Mikuru; you sure look like a real woman now!" Mara said sarcastically before laughing out loud. "Ah! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!"

"She still smells funny though." Shippo pointed out after sniffing the perfume Kagome had applied to Miroku's face. "Must be that stuff called uh…purfoom."

"That's perfume Shippo." Kagome said, correcting the young fox demon while she planted some red lipstick on Miroku's lips while Mara restrained the helpless monk. "All done, now its time for more photos to get taken, good thing you look your best right now Mikuru."

"Give us a big smile for the camera Mikuru!" Skuld declared while grinning evilly at a humiliated Miroku. "Now say cheese!"

After several photos, Shippo transformed himself momentarily into Miroku to pose as Mikuru's cousin in a few family photos.

"What do you look so depressed for Mikuru?" Shippo asked sarcastically in a disguised voice while putting his arm around Miroku's shoulder. "We're cousins after all, smile for the camera just once so that we can have at least one nice family photograph to look at."

"I'd better go over there and bring this to a stop before this leads to a disaster, I'll see you at the dinner table Lind." Michiru said before heading over to break up the party and bring and end to Miroku's humiliation. "Ahem, already everybody, enough's enough. Belldandy says that supper's ready so its time to wash hands and sit down. Mikuru, I-I mean Miroku, you'll have to transform yourself back to normal before you sit down or else my Uncle might start asking questions and the last thing we all need is for this pleasant evening to be ruined. Kagome, you'll have to help him remove those ribbons and make up you just finished applying or Miroku won't make it to supper."

"But I can't undo the spell Skuld cast on me." Miroku blurted out in a girly voice, causing everyone to laugh quietly and grin humorously.

"Then Skuld will undo it for you and if she can't, I'm sure Urd has a remedy which can return you to normal just as I was returned to normal when I was transformed into a ten year old earlier today." Michiru replied, turning to glance briefly at each of Belldandy's sisters so that they along with the others understood he was being serious and wanted Miroku returned to normal right away before everybody sat down to eat supper together. "I expect you to redouble your efforts at behaving respectfully from now on Miroku, otherwise I don't want to know what will become of you should you misbehave again, remember what I promised when I broke your nose earlier today."

Lind smiled briefly, having stayed to watch and listen in on what Michiru had said after approaching the group and bringing the monk's humiliation to an end, she then resumed her walk to the washroom just as the Kururugi boy turned to follow after her so he wouldn't notice the Valkyrie waiting for him. Peorth used her magic powers to turn Miroku's clothes to the familiar blue Feudal era attire he was usually dressed in, causing the monk to let out a huge sigh of relief, Urd wandered off to her bedroom to procure a remedy to reverse Miroku's transformation while Kagome and shoved the female pervert along with help from Shippo and Skuld who followed the reborn priestess. Inuyasha and Mara would normally have accompanied Miroku in order to look and laugh at the lecherous monk one last time, but their stomachs begun to growl once their nostrils detected the delicious smell of freshly cooked food which was now served and ready to be eaten by everybody so they both went to wash hands and sit down. Urd quickly found a remedy similar to the kind she had given to Michiru earlier today and handed it to Miroku who swallowed the substance quickly, taking only a minute for magic within to do its work, causing the female figure of Miroku's fictitious cousin Mikuru to vanish from sight. Although Miroku was finally transformed back to his normal male self, the four friends were all standing around him, watching curiously as the lecherous monk carefully examined himself from head to toe with both hands to make sure his body had been successfully returned to normal.

"Whew, I'm normal again." Miroku said gratefully, letting out a deep breath after removing his hands from between his legs once he was finished examining himself.

"Shouldn't you be thanking someone for helping you return your body back to normal right about now Miroku?" Kagome pointed out.

"Oh, ahem, thank you all." Miroku before Kagome grabbed his face by the chin and turned his head towards the second class goddess who stood with her arms crossed together against her chest in front of her. "I mean thank you, thank you Urd for returning me to normal."

"Your welcome Miroku, now hurry along and go wash up for supper, everybody else is waiting for us." Urd replied, pointing out the door.

One after the other, the five of them left the bedroom and took turns washing their hands in the washroom, Miroku had to be hurried along by Shippo since the monk wanted to look himself over in the mirror even though his body was back to its original state, Kagome together with Skuld and Urd took an extra minute to admire themselves in the mirror before heading to the dining room to join everybody else for supper. However, upon arrival, the three females went wide eyed with shock when they saw that all of the dishes on the dinner table were empty and all the food was now gone.

"Hey! What's the big idea?" Skuld demanded furiously while Miroku and Shippo wore stunned faces like children robbed of their food.

"Inuyasha you hog! Did you eat all of the food?" Kagome asked angrily, her mouth then opened wide as she eyed all the empty dishes.

"Maybe, maybe not." Inuyasha answered humorously with a grin, ignoring Kagome's remark and accusation before turning his attention to Mara who sat on the opposite side towards the other end of the long rectangular table. "Mara? Did I or didn't I eat all of the food?"

"Oh heck no, I ate half and you ate half." Mara replied casually which only escalated the situation even more, causing everyone presently seated to grin or giggle in anticipation of the reactions from the five people still standing up. "You ate all the instant noodles remember?"

"Oh yeah, I did, and you ate all of the beef teriyaki." Inuyasha added before altering his statement. "Or was it chicken teriyaki instead?"

"We don't care who ate what! Answer yes or no before we tear the tongues out of your mouths!" Shippo/Skuld threatened simultaneously, causing Kagome and Miroku grabbed hold of them both before the two youngsters could go ballistic, Kagome held Skuld and Miroku held Skuld while Inuyasha and Mara responded by making goofy faces to further taunt the fox demon and young goddess.

"Ahem, well since Inuyasha and Mara both ate all of the food, its only fair that the two of them wash, dry and put away all the dishes by themselves without any help from the rest of us." Urd cleverly suggested with a sarcastic smile on her face. "That alright with you Mara?"

"Yeah." Mara replied before she suddenly realized what her half goddess/half demon friend had just proposed aloud. "Wait! What?"

"Ah! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!" Koshian laughed out loud as he entered the dining room followed by Michiru who was carrying a drink tray with glasses of juice and water with ice cubes added in to keep the fresh drinks nice and cold to cool people down and cope with the heat. "Its been too long since I heard or saw such a hilarious ruckus in this house, alright Miss Belldandy, I think we can swap out the dishes now."

"You mean all of you were just pulling our legs?" Miroku deduced, much to his own relief and that of Skuld, Shippo and Kagome.

"Took you all long enough." Urd remarked, causing the monk to turn around and glance at her, the goddess then reacted by lightly flicking her finger and striking the unprepared monk in the nose which was still healing from the blow Michiru had given him earlier today.

Michiru along with his Uncle, Sango and the other deities removed the empty pots, pans and other containers before replacing them with those full of freshly prepared food which had been left inside the kitchen on purpose until the prank had been pulled. The Kururugi boy had suggested the idea after Inuyasha expressed his impatience for having to wait on Miroku and the others to arrive, everyone else presently seated naturally agreed in order to enjoy one last big laugh for the day now that the evening was drawing near.

"Michiru?" Koshian called out, causing his young nephew to turn and face him. "I've already taken the liberty of eating my share of food while I was cooking supper for everybody else in the kitchen; I'm going to retire early so I can be well rested for tomorrow morning."

"What?" Michiru replied in disbelief, he was always taught never to skip out on entertaining guests who were visiting, especially eating early before anyone else had eaten. "But Uncle Koshian, we have guests to entertain…a-and besides, the sun hasn't begun to set yet."

"Now, now Michiru, I'm sure you'll manage to entertain everybody here without my help." The old priest replied, having complete confidence in his young nephew since Michiru clearly had made many more friends than his Uncle and parents would have ever guessed. "As acting man of the house, you'll sit in my place at the head of the table, now take a seat like a good lad and be a great host."

"Yeah Michiru, do as your Uncle says and…" Kagome said encouragingly before Inuyasha suddenly leapt from his chair and raced over to the high school girl, clamping his hand over her mouth and tugging the enchanted beads of subjugation strung around his neck with the other while wearing a worried expression on his face which was shared by a few others; namely Michiru, Sango, Shippo and Miroku.

"What Kagome means to say Michiru, is take your seat at the head of the table just as any other host or hostess would normally do." Inuyasha continued, finishing Kagome's sentence on her behalf and stopping her from saying sit which would have made the half demon crash headfirst into the floor as though he was a heavy boulder striking the ground after falling from a cliff high up above.

"I can't be a host, Belldandy and Keiichi are the ones who've been looking after the house and Temple during your long absence, never mind that they've also been living here longer than I…" Michiru politely protested before he decided to change the subject. "Can you prove to me that you've already eaten?"

"Don't worry Michiru; your Uncle's telling the truth, he just happened to eat one bite at a time while you weren't looking." Belldandy pointed out, making everybody laugh together. "Since Mr. Koshian has appointed you to act as host in his place for tonight, you should respectfully accept the duty he has given you, you are his nephew after all and it would be a bad example if you neglected his request."

The Shikigami user quickly looked around the dining room at everyone, but it was no use trying to back out of a role that he couldn't escape from and so he reluctantly had to agree even though there wasn't really anything wrong with his Uncle's request. Miroku grinned momentarily since Michiru now found himself at the centre of everybody's attention even though this wasn't embarrassing or humiliating like all the experiences the lecherous monk had the misfortune of enduring thus far during his brief visit to the Modern era.

"Very well then, I reluctantly accept, goodnight and see you in the morning Uncle Koshian." Michiru respectfully replied with a quick nod.

"Goodnight Michiru, goodnight Miss Belldandy and Mr. Keiichi, the three of you were a great help to me in the kitchen this afternoon." Koshian remarked before bidding his farewells to the rest of Michiru's friends who were staying over as guests. "Goodnight to all of you and enjoy your evening."

"Goodnight Mr. Koshian." Everybody replied before Michiru, his Feudal era friends and both of Belldandy's sisters finally took their seats.

Michiru suddenly realized that there was one chair short which is probably why his Uncle had eaten early in order to take his leave so that none of their guests would be left without a place at the dinner table, although, it didn't take a genius to figure out that Koshian was also giving the Kururugi boy the freedom to have a great time with his friends which most teenagers would want. After all, there were a lot of people staying together in this house, including some very fine and attractive young women which is why the old priest had chosen to retire early and avoid hindering his nephew's progress at establishing a possible relationship with one of the lovely ladies.

However, what Michiru and everybody else didn't know was that Koshian had in fact found out about his nephew's closely guarded secret, namely that Michiru possessed ancient and magic Shikigami powers. Just has the old priest had happened to observe Belldandy singing alone with her Angel Holy Bell so many months ago, so did a similar situation occur on the same property, inside of the house to be more specific. Koshian happened to be standing at the end of the hallway after leaving the washroom and was returning to his bedroom to have a nap when he spotted his nephew Michiru and several goddesses wandering to Urd's bedroom, Urd had redressed to an earlier age which made her a child due to her loss in heavenly energy caused by Yggdrasil's malfunction the other day. The young deity had gone into her room to undress herself and wait for the Kururugi boy to restore her energy supply with his magic so she would be returned to normal again, the old priestess stood as still and silent then as he was now, smiling happily as his mind recalled the events he had witnessed and heard from afar.

Flashback…

"Okay Urd, I'll stand just outside the closed door so you can get undressed, you just slide it open a few inches so I can stick my arm through and cast my magic on you once you're ready okay?" Michiru instructed before he slid the door shut to give Urd her privacy.

"Gotcha Michiru!" Urd replied with a young girly voice before she proceeded to undress herself, grabbing her other clothes that she wore.

"Earlier before your arrival Lind, a stranger took advantage of my trust and tried to assault me this morning." Peorth said softly drawing Lind's attention as the Valkyrie warrior wore a look of dismay. "But before anything worse happened, Michiru came to my rescue, he made sure I was alright and unharmed rather than exact revenge on the one who assaulted me and then me made my attacker apologize."

"Why weren't you able to defend yourself with your magic?" Lind asked before she suddenly remembered Yggdrasil's current condition. "Oh right, I forgot that all goddesses rely on their energy from heaven so Yggdrasil's condition is effecting you and the other goddesses."

"Yes, and although I found myself helpless in a horrible situation, I've also endured a lot of experiences during my second stay here on earth and many of them are joyful and memorable because Michiru and I shared them both together." Peorth added with a sincere smile.

"I'm ready Michiru; use your magic on me." Urd called out, sliding the door open just enough so Michiru could stick his arm through, the young Japanese student held out his other arm towards Peorth in the hopes of casting the spell on both goddesses at the same time.

"Oh flowing mighty river, ring with the sound of blessing." Michiru called out as a glowing red star shaped pentagram appeared beneath his feet and began to spin, blue light radiated from Michiru which rose up above him and transformed into a red fish surrounded by clear blue water.

The red fish then transformed into white star like orbs of light which hovered above each goddess and fell on each of them like snowflakes as Michiru's Great River Blessing spell was cast, unlike the Great River Offering spell, the Great River Blessing spell could heal more than just one single person so its effect had the desired result which meant that Michiru only needed to use his Shikigami powers once rather than twice. Lind also felt the effects of Michiru's Shikigami power because she was standing so close to Peorth and although her energy level from heaven hadn't been drained due to her recent arrival, the Valkyrie still felt an inner sensation from the spell's magic throughout her entire body, and it was a memorable experience which she would never forget.

"It worked! My body's back to normal now!" Urd called out in her usual voice now that she was in her adult form, overcome by excitement, the second class goddess slid the door open really fast and gave Michiru a glimpse of very attractive female figure. "Thank you Michiru."

"Urd!" Michiru yelled in shock, blushing furiously before he slammed the door shut in response. "Stay inside and put your clothes on!"

"Ah! HA! HA! HA! HA!" Urd laughed out loud while hugging herself before she replied. "Sorry Michiru, but I just couldn't resist!"

Peorth was about to yell out in retaliation for Urd's little joke, but her angel Gorgeous Rose suddenly emerged from her body, alarming her and Lind in the process until they both realized that there was nothing to be alarmed about right now. After looking Gorgeous Rose in the eyes, Peorth understood what her angel wanted and why she had emerged when she did, nodding with a gentle smile.

"Michiru?" Peorth called out, drawing the young man's attention whose eyes were darting back and forth from her to her angel. "Gorgeous Rose wants to thank you for everything that you did earlier this morning, especially when you came to rescue me from Toshiyuki."

"Oh, I only did what was necessary Peorth, there's really no need to thank me all…over…again." Michiru replied while blushing, before he lost control of his voice once Gorgeous Rose hovered over and took him in her arms, making sure her green vines didn't harm him while she planted a soft kiss on the Kururugi boy's forehead and smiled affectionately at him before she vanished back into Peorth's body.

"Well, now that you've restored our energy levels, let's go join Belldandy and the others for lunch." Peorth said, tugging Michiru by the arm playfully like how she had seen Urd do earlier while the second class goddess was still her younger self. "Come on Michiru, let's hurry up."

"But Peorth, Urd's not ready yet, we have to be polite and wait for her too." Michiru protested politely while being dragged away by Peorth.

"Michiru is right Peorth, it would be bad manners not to wait for Urd to accompany us, wouldn't you agree?" Lind added in agreement.

"Oh alright." Peorth pouted, still holding Michiru with both hands and tugging on him playfully for amusement while the three of them waited, Urd emerged from her bedroom a minute later wearing her purple skirt; purple tank top and matching purple high heels.

"Sorry to keep all of you waiting, let's head downstairs to have lunch." Urd said, walking gracefully passed everyone and leading the way.

End of flashback…

"I'm so proud of Michiru, I always knew there was something special about him, but I never knew what it was until that moment." The old priest stated softly to himself, still wearing a warm smile while he wandered to his bedroom to turn in early for the night. "I feel truly blessed to know that he's achieved a level of enlightenment and brought joy and help to others just like Miss Belldandy has, I'll have to try harder and devote myself to follow my nephew's example even though I'm an old codger. But instead of going on another pilgrimage, perhaps I should remain here to look after the house and Temple; Michiru should get to travel around with all of his new friends instead of being forced to stay here watching over the house just because of his parents' demands. I'm sure Miss Belldandy would like that also, she and Mr. Morisato have taken great care of my property while I've been away for so long, and the two of them deserve a vacation too."

Back at the dinner table with Michiru and company…

"Michiru, we've all been having a great time here at your Uncle's house, Belldandy and the goddesses all have treated us so kindly despite the trouble some of us have caused them." Inuyasha commented without labelling Miroku as the troublemaker while showing his respects to all of the goddesses in the process, much to Kagome's surprise since she was so used to seeing the half demon in his regular bad tempered state. "But, I'm just dying to head back to the Feudal era, there's no action here! The only fights I got to have or watch were with that Toshiyuki douche bag that showed up once or twice with his car and later that Troubled Dude with the big fat golden bird that he sang songs with!"

"His name was Troubadour Inuyasha, and the big fat golden bird was known as the golden Nightingale." Urd corrected Inuyasha.

"I thought you said we've all been having a great time here, are you not having as much fun as the rest of us Inuyasha?" Michiru asked.

"What you need is a full day of sparring sessions Inuyasha, Lind and I will be training with Michiru tomorrow so you're welcome to join us if you'd like." Sango suggested, she sympathized with the half demon who simply wasn't used to life here in Modern Japan having been born, raised and living a life in Feudal Japan filled with endless violence, countless hardships and hordes of demonic foes to fight with.

"Sparring isn't the same Sango, I need a real fight with real opponents that I don't have to hold back against, I'm sure Kirara would agree with me if she was here too since she wouldn't be able to transform into her giant fighting form without drawing unwanted attention to herself." Inuyasha explained frustratingly, causing everybody else to sigh softly as they sympathized for their half demon friend. "Heck, the Modern era just isn't the same as the Feudal era and besides, I can't even wield my Tetsusaiga in this world! Nor can Michiru learn how to wield or test out his Flower Bloomer sword! Then there's the matter of recovering all the remaining Shikon jewel shards shattered all over the distant lands, heck, Kagome could also learn to improve her archery skills and purification powers while we're all travelling."

"And just what do you mean by that Inuyasha?" Kagome responded, feeling insulted by Inuyasha's final remarks regarding her combat abilities even though the half demon was merely providing reasons for everyone to return to Feudal Japan. "Am I not good enough or tough enough to fight like everybody else is? Or are you just using that as another excuse because you want to go home so very badly?"

"Yes, I want to return home because there aren't any bad guys or demonic foes to fight in this world. There, I said it." Inuyasha declared, trying to remain calm out of respect for Michiru and everybody else while Kagome was losing her temper and causing him to lose his by pressing his buttons so to speak. "And as for your archery skills and purification powers, I was merely suggesting that you try to improve them so that you're on the same level as Kikyo is and I thought the two of you could learn from each other, that's all I was implying."

"Oh, what exactly could Kikyo and I possibly learn from each other besides archery or purification practice?" Kagome asked sarcastically.

"Ahem, please excuse me everyone, I'm going to have a word with Kagome and Inuyasha." Michiru stated after standing up from his chair to go outside on the porch deck where they could talk privately. "Belldandy? I'm so sorry, but could you accompany us please?"

Inuyasha and Kagome glared at each other momentarily as if saying that this was the other's fault before the two of them along with Belldandy followed their Kururugi friend to the side door leading out on to the porch deck, leaving everybody else at the dinner table.

"Today was going so well, is it too much to ask for just one or two full days without any arguments between those two?" Shippo asked.

"Inuyasha and Kagome both have short tempers and huge egos, I'm afraid all it takes is one action or remark taken the wrong way for trouble to erupt between the two of them." Miroku pointed out. "Hopefully Michiru and Belldandy can mediate and resolve the situation."

"Nevertheless, I can understand Inuyasha's frustration for feeling out of place in a world where danger is non existent, or at least the kind of danger that each of us has had to face back in the Feudal era." Sango mentioned. "Perhaps we should return to the Feudal era, Inuyasha gave very good reasons for doing so and I for one am interested to see how we progress now that Naraku is dead and gone."

"That's true, but I'm sure that other dangerous demonic foes will come out of hiding to spread terror and chaos now that Naraku's no longer around to keep them in check." Miroku pondered out loud. "Well, what ever the case, Inuyasha should feel better once we've gone back to our world. A shame Michiru has to stay here to watch over his Uncle's house, we could use his company while we track down the remaining jewel shards and like Inuyasha said earlier, neither of them can wield their swords while they're staying in this world."

Skuld sighed softly in response to hearing Miroku's words, she was having so much fun than she normally got to have during these passed few days ever since Michiru came to stay with Keiichi and the goddesses at this house apart from the incident when she and Michiru had both been Toshiyuki's hostages of course, but she didn't want things to end so suddenly even though she knew Michiru and his Feudal era friends were only staying here temporarily for a short time. She still hadn't gotten to teach the Shikigami user how to drive her robot Banpei while in motorcycle mode, nor show him all of her advanced technological inventions and gadgets yet either.

Peorth also begun to worry about being parted from the Kururugi boy who was her client, she still hadn't granted him his wish yet, the two of them had only just started to gradually advance their relationship to another level. How were they supposed to fall in love with each other if they both went separate ways and travelled to different worlds? Would their feelings for each other keep them going even while they were both separated throughout time and space until they could meet face to face again? The first class goddess had been alone for far too long and wanted a relationship with this brave young man who had done more for her than all the rest of her clients put together, Michiru had saved her from being sexually assaulted and comforted her afterwards, he stated how much he appreciated all she had done for him along with all the experiences they shared together thus far leading up to their recently formed relationship that they started because he was also alone for so long and wanted to be with her too. As Peorth had already told Lind and Urd, she had experienced so much with the Shikigami warrior in only a few days and if the events of those passed few days weren't proof or reason enough to build a relationship together, than the first class goddess didn't know what was. Fortunately, Peorth was required to stay at Michiru's side until she had granted him his wish and fulfilled her contract so she was allowed and expected to follow him and go where ever he went even if that meant travelling with him back in time to Feudal Japan itself.

So too was Lind overcome with worry about being separated from the Shikigami warrior after hearing Miroku's remarks, although Sango had been Michiru's teacher in using various weapons in combat, the Japanese student had agreed to devote equal time to both of them in order to learn other lessons with the divine warrior woman. But how was that going to be possible if Michiru left to go visit Feudal Japan? Even though Lind was the most formidable fighter in Heaven's battle division, she didn't have the authority to go travelling around on her own for an extended period of time, she was still needed as a combat instructor to pass on her hard won knowledge and skills to the younger generation of Valkyries still training in the junior ranks up in Heaven. She had only gone to earth to briefly visit Peorth out of concern ever since she discovered that her best friend hadn't yet fulfilled her contract, she never imagined that she'd finally have the chance of meeting the famous Shikigami warrior of legend whom so many goddesses had lost their hearts too, nor was she aware that he was still a young teenage boy. How much time would pass before she was recalled back to Heaven? Would that unknown period of time be enough for her to build a relationship of her own with the Kururugi boy? Could she also train him properly and pass on enough of her skills so that he'd eventually grow up to be the very warrior so many goddesses imagined him to be in the same amount of time as well? Would their relationship remain as one of student and teacher or could it blossom into something much more than that? For as long as she could remember, Lind had always put her duty before anything else, surely she could change her path just this once after such a long and distinguished service career as a Valkyrie warrior. Lind was never one to break rules or question authority unless lives were at stake, yet here she was contemplating how far she would dare to go to pursue her own happiness. Was she ready for that?

Lastly, Urd also found her mind plagued with troubled thoughts of what would become of her if Michiru walked out of her life and never saw her again, her stomach turned over as she pondered for an answer. The Japanese student had unintentionally found his way into the heart of the half goddess/half demon hybrid who was the older stepsister to both Skuld and Belldandy as a result of the relationship which had once existed long ago between Hild and the Almighty One before Urd's parents had broken up and gone their separate ways, Michiru had only been trying to treat Urd respectfully just as he had treated everybody else regardless of any differences that each of his friends had, Urd wasn't the only half demon the Kururugi boy had for a friend since he was also friends with Inuyasha. Nevertheless, the shy and reserved young man had become an important person in Urd's life and heart, someone who could never ever be replaced so far as she was concerned. Although Michiru still had to confess to Urd about him discovering her half demon heritage, he had already shared many experiences with her over the passed few days, he had comforted and cheered her up on two different occasions when she had been hurt and reduced to tears.

Years ago when Urd's ex-boyfriend Troubadour had abandoned her to pursue his own dreams and left Urd alone, the second class goddess believed she would never find anyone to fall in love with ever again, how wrong she was when she felt the first feelings of affection once Michiru had found a special place in her heart only a day or two ago. Urd would not let her last chance of happiness slip from her grasp this time, she had broken her fair share of rules before which is what landed her here at this very house where she would meet Michiru many months later, she would break as many as she needed if that was the price she had to pay for finding true love and building true love with someone who loved her for all that she was regardless of what the rest of the world thought. And not just the world inhabited by mere mortals, but the Netherworld where demons lived and Heaven where the deities resided, surely she could also get away with accompanying the Kururugi boy to the Feudal era if he decided to go with Inuyasha and the rest of his friends who lived there.

Meanwhile outside on the porch deck…

"He started it when he couldn't keep his last opinion to himself!" Kagome declared angrily, feeling insulted by Inuyasha's last remark and then humiliated when Michiru had asked her and the half demon to accompany him and Belldandy outside so they would be talked too.

"I only said what I said because it's the truth and also because I needed another reason to support my opinion about returning to the Feudal era." Inuyasha countered while under the watchful eyes of Michiru and Belldandy. "Can I help it if you took it the wrong way?"

"You can help by not bringing up Kikyo up at all, I'm not her so stop comparing me to her!" Kagome snapped. "Is that too much to ask?"

"Alright! That's enough from both of you!" Michiru declared, causing his feuding friends to turn and face him with wide eyes since he rarely ever lost his temper or yelled at them. "This is the third time I've had to break the two of you up from an argument since you first arrived outside of this house, you're embarrassing yourselves, you're embarrassing the rest of our friends and you're embarrassing me!"

Belldandy watched from the sidelines ready to act on the Kururugi boy's behalf in case this escalated beyond Michiru's control.

"Now I understand both of you have had as many disputes with each other as I've had battles to fight while I was stuck in Feudal Japan, too many in my opinion as I'm sure everybody else will also agree with, the same can also be said for Miroku's misdeeds even though that matter as already been dealt with if both of you remember what I promised I would do at the beginning of the speech I gave Miroku before I broke his nose with Lind's halberd." Michiru continued, glancing back and forth from Kagome to Inuyasha so he was sure both of them paid attention and understood all of what he was telling them. "Both of you should use your heads for a change, if you don't have something nice to say, keep it to yourself and if you don't like what somebody else says, than keep that to yourself as well. Is that clear?"

"Yes Michiru." Inuyasha/Kagome both said softly in unison, glancing momentarily at Belldandy who kept quiet and waited for this to end.

"Both of you are equally to blame here regardless of who said what at the start and who said what after that, just because there aren't any dangerous foes to fight doesn't mean we have to fight against each other. Naraku would welcome the chance to do something terrible to the rest of my friends and I while both of you are too busy arguing amongst yourselves, be thankful he never exploited that opportunity while he was still alive during my visit to the Feudal era." Michiru concluded, hoping that the mentioning of Naraku would make Inuyasha and Kagome to wise up. We are supposed to be taking a break from daily life and enjoying ourselves and everyone else's company while we stay here, if everyone else can keep their mouths shut and tempers calm, surely both of you can too. No one is forcing either of you to be here, it's your choice, and you decide when to leave and how to act around others until you do leave whether it's tomorrow or the day after that. Sango knows how to act and behave properly, that's just one of the many reasons why I spent my days off with her while we were all travelling together throughout Feudal Japan, and you should both learn to follow her example. Now after you've apologized to each other, I want both of you to apologize to myself, to Belldandy and then to everyone else once you head back inside. If you think I enjoy yelling at my friends in order to set them straight, I don't and I'm sorry that I have too, but you've both left me no choice."

"I'm sorry Inuyasha." Kagome apologized before turning to her Kururugi friend and the goddess standing further away. "I'm sorry Michiru, I'm sorry Belldandy. Can either of you forgive me?"

"Why of course Kagome, now go inside and get this over with so we can all eat the rest of our dinner before the food gets cold." Belldandy replied sweetly while wearing a warm and tender smile on her face to brighten up everyone's mood now that the talk was over.

"I'm sorry too Kagome." Inuyasha apologized while Kagome shared a quick hug with Michiru before heading inside, so he turned to face Belldandy and apologize to her next. "I'm sorry Belldandy."

"That's alright Inuyasha, I'm just glad the three of you were able to clear things up together." Belldandy replied happily.

"I'm sorry Michiru." Inuyasha stated as his Kururugi friend walked up to him. "Hey, I don't want a hug so don't even try giving me one."

"Don't worry, I'm not." Michiru replied before punching Inuyasha in the face with his fist, catching him and Belldandy completely off guard.

"Hey, what happened to behave properly and follow Sango's example?" Inuyasha asked curiously after recovering from the blow.

"Sorry Inuyasha, but you said you miss fighting which is why you want to return to the Feudal era, so I'm giving you one…in a manner of speaking." Michiru explained with a small tone of nervousness in his voice since he knew how much stronger Inuyasha was compared to himself. "I got to give you a free punch with my fist, now it's your turn to give me one in exchange, please don't punch my face though."

"Alright Michiru…" Inuyasha grinned happily now that he and his best friend were on good terms once again, he already knew not to hit Michiru's face given that the Shikigami user had two gorgeous goddesses interested in him so he decided to give Michiru a swift punch in the lower stomach, making sure not to hit too hard for fear of injuring his friend. "One punch from you to me and one from me to you."

"Oh geez did that ever hurt." Michiru said, bending over and nearly falling forwards as he grabbed his stomach in response to the pain.

"Mr. Michiru…" Belldandy said worriedly as she wandered over and held Michiru up by holding his left arm behind her neck while Inuyasha did the same with the Kururugi boy's other arm. "That was a very foolish thing to do even though you had good intentions."

"I trusted Inuyasha knew not to hit me too hard Belldandy, besides, he needed something to punch in order to feel better after all the frustration he's had to bear." Michiru replied while a magic red light shone beneath everybody's feet which revealed he was using his Shikigami powers to heal himself in order to make the pain in his stomach go away completely. "Inuyasha's my friend, I had to take a hit for him even if that punch happened to come from him as well, just promise both of us that you won't tell the others or else we've had it."

"I promise Michiru." Belldandy said as she and Inuyasha released the Shikigami warrior who had just healed himself from his wound.

"Thank you Belldandy, now let's go inside so we can eat our dinner before Mara and the others eat it all for us." Michiru replied.

"If all the food is gone, I'm starting a fight with who ever ate my dinner regardless of who ever that someone is." Inuyasha warned.

Fortunately, all of the food was still left where it was much to Inuyasha's relief along with Michiru's and Belldandy's, Kagome and Inuyasha both apologized to everybody else still seated at the table who had waited for the four of them to return so they could all eat together. Miroku made a wager with Shippo about whether or not Michiru would break Inuyasha's nose after lecturing him and Kagome, but since that didn't happen, the lecherous monk lost on the bet and now owed the young fox demon an enormous amount of tasty treats which he would have to get from either the Modern era or the Feudal era depending on which ever opportunity was best. Shippo and Miroku asked Belldandy for details about how she and Michiru had resolved the dispute between Inuyasha and Kagome, the first class deity politely said that she was only an observer and Michiru had settled the matter all by himself, much to their surprise and disbelief. The lecherous monk and the young fox demon then prodded Michiru for answers and the Kururugi boy finally gave in by saying he told Kagome and Inuyasha to follow Sango's example since she always behaved properly which was just one of the reasons why he chose to spent time with her during their days off together in the Feudal era, Michiru naturally felt a little embarrassed by admitting this which is why he blushed lightly, Sango felt touched by his remarks and blushed lightly too even though the rest of their Feudal era friends had mistaken this for her own embarrassment. Everyone carried on eating supper together without any more problems or disputes, except of course when it came to Mara and Inuyasha eating the last remnants of delicious food on the table since everybody else was too full and couldn't eat as much as either of them could.

Now that dinner was over with, the Kururugi boy went about helping Belldandy gather up the dishes and clean the kitchen, Keiichi along with Lind and Peorth stayed to help them out. Everybody else left to go enjoy what was left of the evening until it was time to go to bed, Skuld returned to her laboratory and Urd went to her bedroom, Miroku went after Kagome to ask for help getting some desserts for Shippo since the Modern era had so many more luxuries and consumer goods than the Feudal era had. Mara, Shippo and Inuyasha were sitting together in the living room laughing their heads off as they took turns looking at the priceless photographs of Mikuru which had been captured using Kagome's camera. Once all of the tidying was finished, Lind and Peorth left to go to their bedroom, Keiichi went to his bedroom too since he was feeling tired after a long day of sports and chores. After having enough entertainment for one day, Mara finally decided she should be heading home to her own apartment where she normally crashed and spent the night, but Michiru stopped her before she could depart.

"Wait a moment Mara, don't leave just yet." Michiru called out, catching the demon lady before she could leave so he could hand her a large plastic container which contained some left over food inside. "We all had a lot of fun with you today, if you don't visit us tomorrow, here's some left over food for you to take with you in case you get hungry and you haven't any free time to cook anything for yourself."

"Oh, uh, thanks a lot Michiru." Mara replied, caught off guard with a hint of embarrassment since she wasn't used to receiving such generosity before, taking the large plastic container from the Kururugi boy before a thought crossed her mind. "As a full fledge demon, I've purchased lots of various products from Hell's mail order catalogue, there's lots of cool stuff available for a limited time only so I could give you a copy of it if you would like to look through it."

"That's sounds great, I'd like very much, if it wouldn't be any trouble for you of course." Michiru replied, making Mara smile since the demon lady had succeeded in catching young boy's curiosity and interest; this could be the start of a business relationship for them.

"No, no trouble at all." Mara casually remarked before she leaned in closely to look him in the eyes with a serious expression on her face. "But you have to promise me you won't say a word of this to any of the goddesses, especially Urd, she'll be mad at us if she finds out."

"When have you ever been worried about Urd being mad at us?" Michiru asked curiously until he suddenly recalled that Mara and Urd both had a history of pulling pranks and practical jokes on each other using any and all means each of them had and their disposal.

"That's not the point, just keep your promise to me and I'll get you a copy of Hell's mail order catalogue." Mara replied seriously.

"Alright, I promise, but I don't see the harm in looking through a catalogue if I'm unable to order or buy anything." Michiru stated.

"Goodnight Michiru, until we meet again." Mara waved goodbye before darting off into the night like a lone super villain or super hero.

"Thank you for helping us to tidy up after dinner Michiru." Belldandy said gratefully with a smile once Michiru returned to the kitchen.

"Your welcome Belldandy, thank you for helping my Uncle and I prepare supper for everybody tonight, we couldn't have done it without you and Keiichi." Michiru replied as he gathered some tissue papers to put in his pocket before he turned to leave. "Oh and thank you for watching my back while I was outside resolving that dispute between Kagome and Inuyasha, I couldn't have done that all by myself."

"I didn't need to watch your back Michiru, you were fine." Belldandy said before asking. "Are you going to bed early like everyone else?"

"Not just yet, I have to go visit Urd for a short time and who knows how long that will last." Michiru answered softly, his eyes betrayed the hesitation and uncertainty that he felt about what he was going to talk with Urd about even though he had the best of intentions in mind.

"Don't worry Michiru, everything will be alright, you and Urd will both feel better afterwards so head over to Urd's room and knock on the door." Belldandy said encouragingly before the young man walked up to the first class goddess and took both of her hands in his own.

"Thank you Belldandy for taking care of us and of this house, your many kindnesses and also for using your powers to bless the Bone Eater's Well so my friends from the Feudal era could visit and be reunited with me again." The Shikigami warrior said gratefully with a handsome smile, standing still for a moment until he had finished expressing his gratitude for all she had done for him and everyone else. "I don't know how I would be able to see all of my friends again if it hadn't been for you; I owe you a debt I can never fully repay."

"Its alright Michiru, being of help to you and to others makes me feel happy, you've been of help to both of my sisters and to the other goddesses so there's no reason for you to feel indebted for all the good that you've done." Belldandy replied tenderly with a kind smile on her face, the first class deity had again cheered Michiru up. "You'd better go, you don't want to be late or else Urd will already be asleep."

"Thanks again Belldandy, and goodnight to you too." Michiru said politely, before releasing Belldandy's hands and backing up to leave.

"I'll wait up a little while longer before going to bed; I'll be here in the kitchen if you need to talk to me after you've finished talking with Urd." Belldandy pointed out, earning a nod from Michiru as they waved goodbye to one another before the Japanese student departed.

Belldandy took one last look around the kitchen and noticed another large container of food like the one Michiru had given Mara to take home with her, as she reached for it so she could put it in the fridge, the deity noticed a small note signed by Michiru which was taped to the lid with somebody else's named written on it at the top. The deity smiled warmly to herself before checking the time on the stove to see how late it was, if Belldandy hurried, she could be out and back by the time the Kururugi boy was finished having his discussion with Urd, she was confident that everything would turn out for the best regardless of Michiru's own worries and concerns.

The Shikigami user had left the kitchen and made his way down the hall until he arrived at Urd's bedroom which he identified by the decorative label hanging outside of her door, while taking a moment to pause and collect his thoughts, Michiru listened carefully for any sounds or movements coming from inside so he could determine whether or not Urd was still awake. He could hear faint humming from behind the closed door and for a brief moment, lost his train of thought while his mind focused on the soft sound of Urd's voice while she was humming a tune to herself without knowing she had a visitor outside, Michiru then recovered his focus and took one last pause before knocking on the door gently with the knuckles of his closed fist.

There's no turning back now, here it goes…hopefully Urd will understand and find it in her heart to forgive me for what I need to tell her.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Who is it?" The second class goddess asked curiously after turning around to face the door, caught in the process of undressing herself even though she had only just started by undoing the zipper of her long sleeved shirt which was almost like a tank top.

"Its Michiru, I apologize for disturbing you Urd, but I really need to talk with you about something important." Michiru answered.

"Alright, just a second." Urd replied, trying to do up the zipper she had just unfastened only a moment ago, but then she suddenly had a thought and smiled deviously before sliding the door open so that the Kururugi boy standing outside could enter. "Won't you come in?"

"Thank you Urd." Michiru said before stepping inside and closing the door behind him, it was only then that he just noticed the second class goddess was in the process of undressing herself. "Oh I'm sorry Urd, I didn't realize you were changing clothes, I'll go wait outside."

"Its okay Michiru, I'll just wait until after we've done talking together, but could you zip me up first please?" Urd replied, turning her back to the young Japanese boy so he could see the undone zipper she wanted him to fasten up for her.

"Alright." Michiru answered, raising his hands and reaching for both ends of the zipper only to have Urd turn around and evade him so that she was facing the Shikigami user and he couldn't see what he was doing, let alone reach her back in order to fasten the zipper up. "Urd, I can't fasten your zipper if you don't stay still and let me see your back."

"Come on Michiru, you don't need to see what you're doing in order to fasten…or unfasten a zipper, that's what your hands are for." Urd replied playfully with a giggle before she closed the distance between herself and the Kururugi boy, wrapping her arms around Michiru's shoulders and gently pressing her chest against his. "You're going to encounter this situation eventually when you're alone with a woman so you might as well use this opportunity to educate yourself on all of the dos and don'ts in these sorts of situations, there's a good boy."

Michiru's face began to blush red as he felt Urd's flawless figure against his body, his mind already seeing what this signified and where it would eventually lead had the two of them been lovers or a romantic couple, luckily he was able to remain calm and mentally remind himself what his primary reason was for being here and decided to get this unexpected task over with as quickly as possible. The shy teenager had his eyes locked with Urd's as he stood still staring into her eyes as though they were purple gems, her tender smile at least helped to put him at ease and relieve some of the tension and uneasiness that he felt from such an embarrassing situation, but he was on full alert for any change or sign which might warn him of any mistake or wrong move he was making so he could correct himself and avoid offending the gorgeous goddess standing closely in front of him. Urd was obviously doing this on purpose just for some fun so there wasn't any harm in giving her what she wanted provided he didn't cross any lines or boundaries, the youthful young man placed his hands on Urd's attractive waist and slowly slid them behind her lower back before raising them up inch by inch, feeling the smooth surface of the goddess's beautiful body until his fingers tips touched the fabric of her long sleeved shirt that she was presently wearing.

"Michiru…" Urd said flirtatiously, causing the Kururugi boy to suddenly cease all movements, his blushing red face now looked worried.

"I-I'm sorry Urd." Michiru apologized, not knowing what else to say or do at this moment until the goddess gave her approval to continue, he was breathing more slowly in order to remain calm and also to avoid making Urd's chest rise and fall since they were pressed against each other, feeling Urd pressed closely to him like this was enough to send his hormones out of control which he hoped she didn't notice.

"You big silly, that wasn't a complaint." Urd replied tenderly, she now wore a flirtatious expression on her face as if she was rewarding the nervous teen with a look of approval along with the compliment of words she had just given him while resisting the urge giggle at Michiru even though she was sorely tempted too, the blushing young boy just wasn't used to this experience with an attractive female before.

Michiru then carried on where he left off, gently grasping the ends of the zipper with the tips of his fingers until they both fit together, and then he slowly did the zipper all the way up with one hand until it was fully secured while keeping his other hand on Urd's back until his task was finished. Afterwards, Michiru lowered his hands and placed them on Urd's waist once again in order to gently back up and push each other apart, but the beautiful deity wouldn't let him since she still held her arms around his shoulders and neck. A few minutes of gazing into each others eyes had revealed a loneliness that Michiru and Urd were both feeling, a different kind of loneliness that made each of them feel set apart from everyone else around them even though they were surrounded by many friends and family in their lives. Michiru already deduced the reason for Urd's loneliness, her half demon heritage which made her different from all other deities including her sisters Belldandy and Skuld whom she had grown up with, along with all the hurt and hardships she was forced to endure as a result of that much like what Inuyasha was also forced to go through. Urd suddenly remembered Belldandy telling her about how Michiru needed to keep his magic powers a secret from the rest of the world including his own family along with all of his classmates from school, that coupled with the stressful task of keeping an eye on Miroku and helping to protect his friends and the goddesses during his stay at his Uncle's house was also a heavy burden even for a young teenager. Urd and Michiru already knew a great deal about each other, was it really so wrong or unusual for two lonely people to seek aid or comfort from one another now and then during tough times?

"Um, Urd?" Michiru said softly, with some nervousness in his voice. "I've refastened your zipper so could you please let go of me now?"

"Oh, sorry Michiru, I just needed a moment to draw some warmth and comfort from you." Urd replied before she finally released Michiru from her embrace so he could do the same, backing up a little to give the young Japanese student his space. "I hope you didn't mind."

"I understand Urd, there's nothing wrong with that, everyone needs comforting every now and again." Michiru said in agreement, his eyes then wandered until he suddenly noticed Urd's bedroom looked a lot different from the last time he had visited it, his curiosity then got the better of him and he changed the subject. "How did your bedroom become so large Urd? And where did that big bed come from?"

"I'm a goddess, I just used my powers to alter my bedroom to suit my liking, and you really should have been able to figure that out on your own Michiru." Urd pointed out, holding back a laugh when Michiru realized he should have been able to deduce this for himself. "But never mind that, let's sit down so you can explain what you came here to talk with me about, Belldandy said it was something important."

"Yes it is, but before we get to that, I have something else to ask you first." Michiru replied as he sat down on the side of the comfy bed which had rose red blankets covered with lots of pretty flower patterns all over it, the young man then took the female deity's hand in his own and held it gently while trying to find the right words to say in order to begin their conversation. "Urd? I was talking with Peorth earlier today and during our conversation, I asked her why both of you were…well…flirting around with me while the two of you were having a suntan and again later when the three of us were all stuck together because of the magnet fruit we had eaten. I'm not that experienced when it comes to interacting or flirting with girls so I couldn't tell whether you were acting like that just for fun or for…other reasons."

Urd didn't know where this conversation was going, surely he must have already found out these answers if he had discussed this matter with Peorth earlier today, but perhaps he needed to hear an answer from her as well and Urd could also see by the look in Michiru's eyes that there was something else he was troubled about which is why he really needed to talk privately with her tonight.

"I can't speak for Peorth Michiru, but I'm sure she only wanted to have a little fun just like I did during both of those incidents, you're a very nice person and fun to be with after all." Urd explained, taking Michiru's right hand and gently grasping it with her left, locking their fingers together as she looked him in the eyes with a warm smile on her pretty face. "I know we both took advantage of the situation, but we enjoy being with you and merely wanted to help you open up a little so you could have fun as well. I'm sorry we took things too far when we shouldn't have, we like you a lot Michiru and getting to spend time or interact with you has given us many enjoyable experiences to look back on, you've also demonstrated how much of a good person you are by giving us joy and comfort when no one else has so that's also why we acted as we did because you acted out of kindness and concern in order to make each of us happy."

"That's more or less what Peorth said too, thanks Urd; I just needed to hear what your answer was as well." Michiru replied casually.

"I hope that's not all you wanted to ask me about Michiru, otherwise meeting me alone in my room would have been a waste, well almost a waste if you get my meaning." Urd stated, adding a teasing remark at the end which reminded both of them about what they had done together before they started talking, causing Michiru to blush momentarily until the second class goddess noticed the look in his eyes. A look filled with multiple feelings; concern, guilt, shame and fear all combined together which made Urd worry about her Kururugi friend.

"Urd, there's something that I have to tell you, a-and I've been dreading to tell you because I've been afraid of how much you…would be hurt, but I can't keep this to myself any longer which is why I had to meet with you alone like this tonight." Michiru stated, trying desperately to keep his emotions under control while looking Urd in the eyes, he wouldn't be able to look her in the eyes again tonight without feeling torn up inside after he had told her what he had discovered that fateful afternoon while he and Skuld were Toshiyuki's captives. "You've always been so strong and understanding even when the unexpected happens and you've offered advice and help to those who have needed it, including Peorth and I. Peorth learned to slow down her advances so I wouldn't be so nervous around her and you forgave me for grabbing hold of you without permission after I accidentally collided with you in the washroom during that morning."

"We both agreed that was just an accident Michiru, after all, you were only trying to catch me when I fell on top of you." Urd pointed out, she really didn't understand what was causing the Japanese student so much guilt, the second class goddess knew what it felt like to be judged by others and how such actions caused her or others pain and suffering, but she didn't think that Michiru of all people would be worried about how she would judge him and especially after hearing from Lind that Michiru had earned the admiration and affections of so many other goddesses. "Michiru, what ever it is you're feeling torn up about, you can tell me and I promise that I won't be upset with you."

"It's not upsetting you that worries me Urd, its hurting your feelings and ruining our friendship that I'm afraid of." Michiru warned.

Urd took another moment to pause and observe the Shikigami warrior sitting beside her, thinking carefully about what to say next.

He certainly sounds like what he has to tell me is very serious, but what ever it is, I need to find out. No, I have to find out no matter what.

"Michiru, I have to know what you need to tell me…no matter what the consequences are because in the end, neither of us will be able to move forward until after we've resolved this matter." Urd stated, she could see the hesitation written all over the young man's face, but she wasn't going to let that change her mind and especially not after he had been brave enough to come here and talk with her tonight.

She says she has to know no matter what, there's no escaping this now. Urd, please forgive me for hurting you with what I have to say.

"Alright." Michiru said simply, reluctantly giving in and trying to find the right words to explain the delicate matter on his troubled mind while he stared into Urd's eyes, still holding her hand gently in his own. "That afternoon when Skuld and I were both held captive by Mara and Toshiyuki, you were unconscious, I could only assume at the time that you were knocked out after being hit in the back of the head from behind just as my Uncle and I both were."

"I'm sorry Michiru; I don't understand what you're trying to say. What does that incident have to do with me?" Urd asked out of confusion.

"The first day I came to this house is when I met Mara for the first time and I accidentally made her dance to hard rock music because of the TV remote I threw at her which she then stepped on only a moment afterwards, then that afternoon when Skuld and I were prisoners, Toshiyuki said he didn't hit you over the head with his sword cane, he made you listen to the enka music on those headphones he placed on your head which made you fall unconscious." Michiru explained. "Mara may be a full fledge demon, but both you and her have similar weaknesses even though you each react differently to different kinds of music which means…you're half goddess and half demon."

There was a heavy silence, Michiru's heart sank when he saw Urd's lips part as she gasped softly in response after hearing his words, but the unprepared deity wasn't about to jump to conclusions so she patiently waited for the Shikigami user to finish his explanation first. Nevertheless, Urd still felt herself rewinding back in time to her younger years as a little girl and all the painful memories she felt back then, Michiru knew he only had twenty or thirty seconds before the full weight of what he had just told Urd would rupture the dam that kept the pain contained deep down within the goddess's heart which was now in the unstoppable process of cracking.

"Urd…I don't know why you're half goddess and half demon and its none of my business to know, what matters to me is that we can both move on together and still be friends. Inuyasha's half human and half demon and we both get along just fine…even though his tough attitude gets him into trouble from time to time, especially with Kagome." Michiru continued, changing the subject momentarily to make things easier on the two of them as he told Urd how he truly felt about her, hoping that his words would be enough to dispel any hurtful feelings or suffering he was afraid of causing the deity. "What I'm trying to say is that you're still my friend and I'm still yours, if anyone says or does anything to hurt you, I will be there for you to stand up to your foes or give you a hug and lend you my shoulder to lean on. You're as strong and fearless as Inuyasha, you're as kind and gentle as Sango and you're as beautiful as each and every other deity I have ever met, all the fun we've had together proves you're a great person and anyone would be blessed to have you for a friend. That's what I see when I look at you Urd…a-and I hope that one day when you look in the mirror, you'll see all of that staring back at you too."

When Michiru finally finished pouring his heart out to the deity seated next to him, he went silent and waited for the goddess to reply, carefully observing her eyes and face for signs before she found the words to respond with. Urd was completely unprepared for what she had just heard, her mind was overloaded with processing all of Michiru's sentences, the meanings behind them battling out with all the feelings she had kept buried deep down within her lonely heart ever since she was just a little girl when she first suspected that she was half goddess and half demon. All those feelings from long ago brought back those memories of being teased or looked down upon by others for being different, even the memory of yelling at her own Angel World of Elegance whom she had rebuilt her relationship with less than a year ago seemed like it had happened only yesterday, and then without warning…all those hurtful worries and painful memories from Urd's past suddenly subsided as if they were rapidly healed by an unknown power even the Almighty One didn't possess.

And from whom did this healing power come from? From the young man sitting beside her whose words and sincerity behind them lit a warm fire within Urd's heart which burned all the painful hurts to ashes and replaced them with a healing warmth that the deity had never felt before in all her life until this moment, for the longest time, Urd had prayed and waited an eternity for such a thing which could only be described as a miracle. That miracle had been Michiru Kururugi because he had accepted Urd for whom and what she was, being half goddess and half demon didn't matter to him, nor did it change his view or judgement of her which was exactly what the deity had been wanting and waiting to have for such a long time. The warmth which had ignited within her heart mere moments ago spread like wildfire throughout the rest of Urd's body, touching off the fuel of her feelings and emotions in the process, causing Urd's body to react before her mind could finish recovering from the overload of data spinning around in a tornado now threatening to vacuum up the inextinguishable warmth which now raged inside like a burning fire rising from the ground high into the sky until it reached heaven itself.

Throughout that long duration of silence, Urd's eyes never left Michiru's, nor did the two of them let go of each other's hands. Unfortunately, Urd's mind was a little overwhelmed and her face still wore a look of shock which was made worse by the sight of fresh tears watering up in the goddess's eyes. This made Michiru flinch in response, his heart sunk even lower and the expression on his face turned from worry to guilt and finally to one of shame, he felt so terrible for making Urd cry even though he didn't realize that she was crying for entirely different reasons. Unable to look Urd in the eyes any longer after seeing her cry and knowing that he had been the cause of it, the Japanese student turned his gaze away and stared at the floor with his head lowered in shame, the fingers of both hands twitching out of control as he himself felt his own eyes were beginning to water with tears.

"I-I'm so sorry Urd, I'll go grab you a tissue from the kitchen, just wait here until I come back." Michiru mumbled softly before releasing his hand from Urd's and standing up to leave, he had to get out of here even if only for a minute or two, he couldn't look her in the eyes in his current state and he couldn't let her see him cry like a weak little boy. Michiru power walked to the bedroom doorway, but just as he reached his hand out to slide open the door, he felt a strong pair of arms grab him from behind after Urd had shot up from the bed to stop him. The desperate deity wrapped her arms around the slender young man with lightning speed, cupping each of Michiru's shoulders in the palms of her hands while her fingers grasped them gently enough to hold the Kururugi boy in place so he couldn't leave.

"No Michiru, don't leave!" Urd said desperately in between sniffles as she cried, pulling the Shikigami user against her to hold him close, her firm breasts pressing against Michiru's back and shoulders while her face was just inches away from touching the top of the young man's head from behind given how much taller she was. "Please Michiru, don't leave me all alone, especially right now of all times."

Michiru suddenly surrendered to the deity's pleas, he felt like the lowest of the low right now for making Urd cry, she was a goddess after all. The torn up teenager clenched his fists angrily as he tensed up in a vain effort to hide the fact that he was also crying, but he couldn't stop himself from sniffling, he just stood there waiting to hear what ever it was that the goddess wanted to say to him. Urd gently rubbed her face on the back of Michiru's head, using the boy's soft brown hair to wipe the tears from her eyes and cheeks until they were dry, inhaling Michiru's sent through her nostrils while enjoying the comfort and warmth that their bodies were generating together, her soft smile faded momentarily once she heard him sniffling which confirmed that he was crying as well. Once her eyes were dried enough, Urd rested her cheek against Michiru's head and took a deep breath before deciding to speak, raising her left knee and rubbing it against Michiru's leg while bending her own so her foot was off the floor pointing it backwards automatically which a woman would sometimes do when she was sharing a passionate kiss with a handsome young man that she had just lost her heart too.

"What you said, you have no idea how much that means to me…" Urd responded, smiling happily while she just stood there embracing a torn up Michiru in her embrace, inhaling his sent with every new breath until she had finished letting everything out, relaxing her hold around the Kururugi boy once she knew he wouldn't run out on her. "…I-I've waited an eternity for someone to accept me for all that I am, no one else has ever shown me such kindness, not even Troubadour back when he and I had been dating long ago for a little while."

"Urd…I-I was only…" Michiru replied softly, not knowing what else to say or do, he was only trying to be nice and treat Urd like an equal.

"Please let me finish…" Urd continued in a hushed tone of voice while holding the handsome young man in her arms. "That night when I was sad and you comforted me, I wasn't sad just because Troubadour made me cry, I also felt hurt inside from Troubadour looking down on Inuyasha for being a half demon even though Troubadour himself never knew I'm also a half demon. Ever since I was a little girl, I had always been afraid because I suspected that I was different from everybody else, that I was half goddess and half demon. Even though other deities acted politely out in public, I saw passed their facades and realized that most of them thought of me as an outcast who didn't belong in Heaven amongst the goddesses, I imagine your friend Inuyasha must have suffered a similar fate during his childhood in the Feudal era. But that wasn't the only thing that I was afraid of, I learned once I was older that an evil entity call the Lord of Terror dwelled deep inside of me and that if it was ever set free, it could destroy the whole world along with all forms of life as well. Luckily, Keiichi along with Lind and my sisters managed to outwit and defeat the Lord of Terror when it happened so it's been gone for a long while since this happened many months ago, but the thought of having such a thing inside me has never left my mind. You weren't here to see those events because we hadn't crossed paths yet, but if you were, would you still see me the same way as you do now?"

Michiru already knew the answer, but first he needed to turn around and look the goddess in the eyes to show his sincerity, so he loosened himself just enough to turn around and face Urd without breaking her embrace. Urd's hands held Michiru's shoulders again even though she didn't have to worry about him leaving again, but her face still wore a look of worry and concern when she saw his tear stricken face staring back at hers, she held her breath in anticipation while she waited to hear his answer once he was ready to reply.

"I'd like to think so Urd." Michiru answered, remembering the times when he had shown mercy towards Kagura who had been a slave and errand woman for Naraku simply because she was one of his incarnations and unable to escape or run away from the demonic foe. "I'd naturally be afraid for myself and for others, but I would never hate you for something you weren't responsible for, that wouldn't be right and that especially wouldn't be fair to you either.

"Thank you Michiru." Urd replied in relief, wearing a grateful smile until her face changed to look of concern. "Why were you crying earlier?"

"I-I…I was afraid…that I'd hurt your feelings like Troubadour had done that night he made you cry, when I saw your eyes water, I just lost it and couldn't look you in the face after causing you such pain." Michiru mumbled worriedly between sniffles, he wasn't crying anymore, but the shame and guilt were still all over his face along with his reddened eyes and cheeks. "I just felt low and couldn't take it anymore."

"I wasn't crying because I was sad Michiru, I was crying because you made me happy, you shouldn't feel low or guilty for doing something so wonderful and especially after you overcame your fear by being brave enough to tell me everything tonight." Urd replied, wearing a sincere smile on her face to show the Kururugi boy how much he had made her happy, withdrawing one of her hands to grab a tissue from the tissue box on her shelf which Michiru hadn't noticed in order to wipe the tears away from Michiru's eyes and face just as he had done for her on two previous occasions when their roles had been reversed even though he had still comforted her tonight. "How ironic, this is the third time you've cheered me up, but tonight I'm the one who's drying your teary eyes and face with a tissue instead."

"Yeah…" Michiru said softly, letting out the last of his sniffles while rewarding the gorgeous goddess with a smile of his own to express his gratitude for her wiping away the tears from his eyes and drying his face. "Are you sure you were crying out of happiness instead of sadness Urd?

"Of course I'm sure Michiru." Urd replied reassuringly, wearing one of her wonderful smiles to put the worried Shikigami user at ease. "I was unprepared at the beginning of your confession and I'll admit I was overwhelmed by all the painful feelings and hurtful memories of my past which brought me to the verge of crying, but then when you finished saying everything else on your mind, that's what truly made me feel happy because you accepted me for who I am and all that I am regardless of my half demon heritage. That painful burden which I've been forced to carry inside me since I was a little girl is finally gone for good and you freed me from it, thank you Michiru, thank you so much…for everything."

"You're welcome Urd, from one friend to another." Michiru replied with a smile, reminding her that the two of them were friends with his last remark without ruining this tender moment after hearing how much his honesty and sincerity meant to the second class goddess.

"On the day I had met my Angel for the first time, I was so scared and shocked that I yelled automatically without thinking how much my words would hurt her feelings, an Angel is the reflection of the goddess whom she is paired with and must obey her goddess's every command. I told her never to come out again, even after all this time, I still regret hurting her even though we patched things up between us by the time I grew up." Urd confessed softly until she felt Michiru put his arms around her so the young man could give her a hug to comfort her once again. "Its alright Michiru, World of Elegance is my Angel and reflects the personality of the goddess she is paired with, therefore she feels the same way that I do and understands how and why I feel the way that I do about her or anything else on my mind."

"World of Elegance?" Michiru replied before asking curiously. "Is that the name of your Angel Urd?"

"Yes it is." Urd answered, seeing that she had peeked the teenager's interest and curiosity. "Would you like to meet her Michiru?"

"Oh yes I would, please." Michiru replied excitedly, wiping away any last trace of tears from his eyes with his hands so he looked presentable, Urd inwardly giggled since the Kururugi boy now acted like a little kid who was excited to see something spectacular happen. Thinking back, Michiru had only met Gorgeous Rose, Holy Bell and Noble Scarlet. But after everything that had happened tonight in Urd's bedroom, the second class goddess felt that the Shikigami user had earned the privilege of meeting her Angel as well.

"Angel, come forth." Urd commanded, causing a heavenly light to shine behind her as an Angel with heavenly white skin emerged from her back and hovered just above the bedroom floor, heavenly light radiated from her body while she met eyes with the captivated Kururugi boy who was staring in awe at the Angel belonging to the second class deity. Her long hair was white on one side of her head and black on the other, each of her wings were also the opposite colour of each other, some unique tattoo patterns in black ink covered her divine body from her feet up just below her shoulders. Her chest and lower body were clothed by a heavenly white fabric must like how Belldandy's Angel Holy Bell was clothed, but she still showed off plenty of skin which was more than enough to attract the attention of any young man blessed with the chance of laying eyes on her even if only for a moment. "World of Elegance, this is Michiru Kururugi."

"H-Hello, it's very nice to meet you World of Elegance." Michiru said with a polite bow while a red blush appeared on his handsome face.

World of Elegance giggled softly in response before moving closer to the blushing young boy, wearing a flirtatious smile on her lovely face while she slowly spun herself around in order to show off her heavenly body to the mesmerized mortal standing before her, batting her eyes briefly when ever they were facing each other throughout the duration of her personal appearance. Urd stood close by watching as well, since her Angel reflected her personality, she was perfectly fine with this little show so long as World of Elegance didn't do anything too forward and behaved respectfully just as how Michiru had behaved, especially tonight when he had made his confession regarding her half demon heritage.

"Ahem, I-I hope both of you don't mind, but…would it be alright if I could take some photographs of you two together?" Michiru asked shyly while he pulled his cellular phone out from his pocket, causing Urd and World of Elegance to smile excitedly at hearing his request.

"That's a wonderful idea Michiru, but only if we get to have some photos of you with each of us as well, that only seems fair." Urd replied.

"Of course Urd." Michiru said in agreement while the second class deity posed with her Angel with wonderful smiles on their lovely faces.

Meanwhile in another part of town…

Sayoko was sitting comfortably inside her luxurious apartment, enjoying the peace and quiet of the night now that the late evening had arrived; the apartment was inside of a very tall building which gave her a spectacular view of the city from the windows and balcony. The independently wealthy young woman was presently lost in her thoughts while she sat on her couch with a glass of sake sitting on the dressing table in front of her, but as she leaned forward to reach for the drink, the silence was broken by a buzzing noise.

"What? Who on earth could possibly be paying me a visit at this late hour of the night?" Sayoko asked out loud, standing up from the couch and wandering over to the front door to answer the call so she could identify who was calling and decide whether or not to let them inside. "Ahem, hello?"

"Miss Sayoko?" Belldandy called from the main entrance downstairs over the intercom system using the tenant ID system located on the wall to dial Sayoko's apartment number. "Its Belldandy, I apologize for disturbing you at this late hour, but I've come to deliver you a package from Mr. Michiru. May I please come up?"

Belldandy? Delivering a package from…Michiru? Oh, that young man I offered a lift too earlier today, I had almost forgotten about him.

"Yes, of course." Sayoko replied, pressing the button on the wall to unlock the security door all the way downstairs to let Belldandy inside.

"Thank you Miss Sayoko, I'll be up in just a few minutes." Belldandy said thankfully before walking inside and heading for the elevator.

Sayoko spent the next few minutes thinking back to that part of the morning when she had met the Kururugi boy by chance during their first encounter at the base of the stone stairs leading up to the main gate of the spacious property owned by Michiru's Uncle where Belldandy, Keiichi and all of Michiru's friends were now staying. Recalling the conversation they shared before she had offered to drive him to the grocery store and back as her way of repaying the young man for his promise of silence regarding the bouquet of flowers and bottled Sake she had left behind to express her apologies and condolences for the harm her cousin had committed yesterday.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Again, I'm sorry for arriving so suddenly at this late hour, but I noticed Mr. Michiru had this set aside for you while we were tidying up the kitchen together after having dinner with everyone earlier tonight, I'm afraid Mr. Michiru was preoccupied and didn't have the time to deliver this himself so I took the liberty of bringing it here for you on his behalf." Belldandy explained, holding the large container of food in front of her.

"Oh, um…thank you Belldandy." Sayoko replied, feeling a little awkward for Belldandy's surprise visit and for the unexpected container of cooked food Michiru had made for her. "It was very nice of you to bring this here, please thank Michiru for me upon your return home."

"I will, you can always eat this food another night in case you've already eaten today, just remember to return the container once you've eaten everything." Belldandy replied, bowing politely before she bid Sayoko goodnight. "Goodnight Miss Sayoko, I hope you enjoy all the food."

"Goodnight Belldandy, thank you again." Sayoko said politely as the first class deity departed, leaving the young woman alone in her apartment with the container of food held in her hands, she went to the kitchen to place the food in the fridge and save it for another night since she had already eaten dinner earlier today as Belldandy had deduced, she then spotted the small sticky note placed on the lid of the container as she set it inside and removed it before closing the fridge so she could read what was written on it besides her name.

To Sayoko; for the kind woman, who's braver than she knows, thanks for giving me a lift along with the flowers and Sake. From Michiru.

That was nice of him to do, I know I've already had dinner earlier today, but…there's no harm in seeing what sorts of food there is inside.

Sayoko's curiosity got the better of her, after reopening the fridge, she holding door open and removed the plastic lid from the glass container with both hands to get a better view of what foods were inside. All foods were evenly divided into sections of the container with one at each corner, fluffy white rice in the bottom left corner with a variety of fried vegetables in the top left, egg fu yung in the top right corner with a combination of beef and chicken teriyaki in the bottom left mixed together. The sight of the delicious food aroused the young woman's appetite even though she had already eaten dinner a few hours ago, the food was freshly cooked at around the same time and the container itself was still slightly warm so it would only take a few minutes to reheat all of it in the microwave.

I know I ate dinner a few hours ago, but this just looks too good to leave until tomorrow and besides, food tastes best when it's still fresh.

While Sayoko prepared to reheat the food inside the microwave, Belldandy was soaring through the sky high like a bird on her way back to the house where she lived with Keiichi, the other goddesses along with the additional company of guests. In the event that a few people were out and about, the deity was travelling fast enough and high enough to avoid being seen, it was past sunset so the night sky had settled in and there were plenty of clouds to help mask Belldandy's presence.

Back at the house inside of Urd's bedroom…

Michiru had taken about half a dozen photos with Urd and World of Elegance together with his cellular phone, but then he also had to use Urd's camera so she could also have some photos too, then they alternated so Urd got some photos with herself and the Shikigami user together while her Angel took the photos using the Michiru's cell and Urd's camera, they alternated again so Michiru and World of Elegance were both paired together for some photos. Michiru held each female friend by the waist with one or both hands depending on how each of them posed for a photograph and Urd rested her head on Michiru's shoulder or against his head given how much taller she was than him, World of Elegance also did the same thing and to add to the joyful experience, the Kururugi boy's blushing red face was caught in some of the photos as well which gave the deity and her Angel something else to look at besides Michiru's handsome smile. Once all the photo sessions were done, the three of them stood beside each other admiring each of the photographs as they looked at them one at a time, Urd and World of Elegance let out a few giggles while Michiru blushed as red as he had been during some of the photos which had captured the priceless expression on his flushed face. It was a minor episode of embarrassment and since it was only Urd and her Angel here beside him, Michiru could easily bear with it, especially since this was giving Urd and her Angel more happiness which is something the two of them needed as much as they could get given all the pain and hardship they had each endured in life. Suddenly, a cuckoo clock which Urd had hung on the wall of her bedroom begun to sound, showing the three of them that it was less than an hour until midnight, they were having so much fun together that time had flown by without them noticing.

"Is it that late already?" Michiru asked before comparing the time on Urd's cuckoo clock with his wristwatch and cell phone. "Wow, time certainly flies by when we're having fun, pity that time drags at a snail's pace when ever one is stuck doing work. Urd? Thank you for letting me meet World of Elegance, and for letting me see you so late so I could talk with you about your half demon heritage." I'd better be going, it was very nice meeting you World of Elegance, thank you for letting me take photos of you with Urd and I, and I had a lot of fun."

World of Elegance suddenly hovered forward and took the unprepared teenage boy in a tender hug before she proceeded to plant several soft kisses all over his face, starting with Michiru's forehead and working her way down to each of his cheeks, Michiru was too stunned to move or even raise his arms against the Angel who was showing her affections so forwardly until Urd intervened.

"World of Elegance." Urd called out, causing her Angel to excuse herself after planting one last kiss on the Kururugi boy's lips, blushing lightly and batting her eyes flirtatiously at a blushing Michiru, World of Elegance then she kissed the tips of her fingers and waving goodbye before she vanished and merged with Urd. "Sorry Michiru, it appears World of Elegance is quite taken with you, though it's been a long time since she last emerged so she's never had the chance to meet anyone else or have lots of fun like she had with us tonight."

"It's okay Urd, please don't scold her, a lot has happened while I've been here with you in your bedroom so I'm sure World of Elegance just couldn't hold back how she felt." Michiru replied. "As you said, she hasn't had the chance to meet or have fun with anyone before."

"Don't worry, I won't." Urd said reassuringly before she chose to give Michiru a hug as well, while she stood there holding the Shikigami user in her tender embrace, she suddenly felt her own feelings go out of control which made her wish Michiru could stay with her tonight.

"Its really late Urd, I should probably head back to the Temple so I can go to sleep, you need to get to bed too." Michiru pointed out after releasing the second class goddess from his embrace only to find that Urd didn't want him to leave after such an emotional experience.

"Could you stay here with me tonight instead?" Urd suddenly asked out of the blue, causing Michiru's eyes to widen as his face blushes red for the tenth or twelfth time in a row tonight. "I really don't want to be alone, especially after all this. Please Michiru? Just this once?"

"We both know I shouldn't do that Urd, we've only known each other for a couple of days now and besides, how would everybody else react if they found out we had spent the night in your room together?" Michiru argued, not wanting to betray Peorth or look like a cheater.

"Oh come on Michiru, we would only be sharing a bed together, we wouldn't be doing anything naughty...unless of course you want too." Urd countered innocently before adding a little flirtatious comment at the end of her sentence as she levitated off the floor and landed on her soft comfy bed with an unprepared and blushing Michiru hovering above her with his hands and knees on either side of Urd's body.

"I'm really sorry Urd, Lind and Sango are expecting me to get up early in the morning to start training with them." Michiru apologized, he felt badly for disappointing Urd even though he was very tempted to accept her offer, but he had to do what was right and respectfully refuse.

"Won't you at least give me a goodnight kiss then?" Urd asked with a puppy eyed look on her face before she changed her expression from cute all the way to devious as she wrapped her legs around Michiru so he couldn't escape, making the Shikigami warrior even more aroused and tempted than he already was. "There must be at least one dirty or naughty fantasy deep down inside that innocent, morally dominated young mind of yours Michiru, would you care to fill me in on what it is? I'm not going to let you leave until after you tell me."

Michiru blushed even redder much to Urd's satisfaction, feeling the goddess's thighs around his waist made him feel very turned on, he needed to tell Urd something in order to get himself out of this situation or else she wouldn't let him leave despite the temptation to stay.

"Well, there is one wicked...wild...wonderful thing that I do like doing." Michiru replied playfully for a moment, lowering his head down towards Urd's until their lips met in the most exquisite kiss Urd had ever experienced before, letting her arms lay limp on the bed, moaning in response as waves of pleasure surged within her beautiful body, closing her eyes in ecstasy for a moment until a clicking sound made her eyes open wide once Michiru backed away. "Getting out of a tight jam and outsmarting someone else in the process."

"What?" Urd asked raising her hands to pull Michiru in for another kiss...only to find that she couldn't move her hands, they were now fastened together above her head with a pair of handcuffs which Michiru had spotted on the nearby dresser and snatched in order to secure the sexy second class goddess to the bed by linking the chain around the centre bar of the bed board just above Urd's head.

"Sorry if you feel a little tied up, I'm sure your Angel World of Elegance can free you in the morning, goodnight Urd." Michiru said, snorting out a short laugh as he freed himself from Urd's shapely legs and hips so he could get off of the bed. "Oh, and sweet dreams."

"My handcuffs!" Urd called out, raising her head up to look at her dresser only to find that the spot where she left them was empty as her restrained hands and wrists answered the question of what had just occurred, then she turned to glare furiously at Michiru for his trickery.

"Ow!" Michiru cried momentarily as he suddenly felt an enormous electric shock throughout his whole body, after examining himself for any injuries, he looked back at the second class goddess who had obviously just used her powers to cast a bolt of lightning down on him.

"Don't look at me like that Michiru; you're the one who started it!" Urd blurted out until the glares she and Michiru both wore on their faces slowly turned into big, goofy smiles as they burst out laughing together. "Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!"

"Ha! Ha! Ha! We'll be at this all night until we're both dead tired tomorrow morning so I strongly suggest we settle this peacefully...like friends." Michiru advised as he wandered over to Urd's bedside and leaned over to kiss the goddess goodnight, he also tucked the pillow underneath her head and on top of her cuffed hands in order to make the goddess more comfortable so the blood flow to her hands wouldn't be disrupted. "You know Urd? In your present position, you look even more irresistibly hot and sexy than you usually do."

"Oh shut it already!" Urd yelled softly, Michiru's reminder of her present state had momentarily killed the mood, but as he walked away to leave, the deity in distress eyed his body from behind before adding. "You're looking pretty attractive yourself you handsome young stud."

"Goodnight Urd, I'll see you in the morning." Michiru said with a smile, waving goodbye before sliding the bedroom door shut behind him.

The gorgeous goddess lay still and quietly for a moment until World of Elegance emerged from her body and retrieved the key to unlock the handcuffs around Urd's wrists, then Urd got off of the bed and proceeded to undress herself in order to change into her sleepwear. However, both of them were alerted by the sound of footsteps approaching the door outside and a smile crossed Urd's lips as she removed her clothes, her deep desire had gotten the better of her and she thought it was Michiru who was walking towards the doorway.

I just knew Michiru couldn't resist the temptation of spending the night in bed with me! He's a shy one, but every man gives in eventually.

The desire driven deity moved in front of the door and licked her lips in anticipation of sharing another exquisite kiss with the Kururugi boy who had found his way into her heart which pounded and burned with passion like never before, but when she flung open the door, Urd was met face to face with none other than the lecherous pervert of a monk named Miroku who stood staring at her butt naked body.

"Well hello Urd, would you like to share your bed with me?" Miroku asked after sampling the sexy second class goddess with his eyes.

"EEEEEEK!" Urd shrieked, casting a lightning bolt down upon the lecherous monk at point blank range before slamming the door shut.

"AAAAAAHH!" Miroku cried while being fried, his cry and Urd's had alerted Michiru who came running back to find out what was wrong.

"Are you alright Urd?" Michiru asked out of concern, ignoring Miroku for the moment until he found out whether or not Urd was alright.

"Yes, I'm alright, I opened my doorway thinking you had returned only to find this lecherous pervert standing here staring at me instead." Urd answered calmly before opening the door just enough so only Michiru could see a glimpse of her standing sideways in front of him, then she added. "Miroku asked if I could share my bed with him so I screamed and cast a lightning bolt on him in response, but you're welcome to share my bed with me if you'd like Michiru."

"That's not necessary Urd, I-I'm just glad you're alright, g-good night U-Urd, good night World of Elegance." Michiru mumbled while blushing raspberry red again, trying to ignore the fact that Urd was naked and that she had opened her bedroom door thinking he had returned to take her up on her earlier offer until he turned to Miroku whom he was now glaring angrily at. "You! Grab your ear! Come on!"

"Ow!" Miroku whined, finding himself being dragged away, World of Elegance teasingly waved goodbye before closing the door, then the Angel and her goddess both let out a huge amount of giggles as they hugged each other until Urd resumed her task of changing for bed.

"You will never learn will you Miroku?" Michiru said, dragging Miroku down the hallway as they were about to pass the bedroom which Lind and Peorth were both sharing. "No wonder Sango's suffering horribly, she should just dump you and find someone else instead, she deserves so much better."

"Good evening Michiru." Lind stated after sliding the bedroom door open and surprising the two young men in the hall. "What were those cries just now?"

"Sorry for disturbing both of you Lind, Urd slid her door open while she was undressed and Miroku who happened to be standing outside at the time, said something rude which I won't repeat...you can probably guess the rest of what happened afterwards." Michiru explained.

"Yes, I can guess…" Lind replied before she turned to glare at Miroku for a moment or two. "…as could everybody else as well."

"If you're feeling lonely Michiru, I'd be happy to spend the night with you again." Peorth offered flirtatiously, causing both Michiru and Lind to blush since the first class goddess had completely ignored the fact that she was sharing the bedroom with a Valkyrie from Valhalla.

"Again?" Miroku replied in dismay before Michiru tugged on his earlobe sharply which caused him more pain once again. "Ow! Ow! Ow!"

"N-No thank you Peorth, I know I said I'd try to open up and act bolder, but I'm not yet ready for that…sort of thing." Michiru respectfully replied. "Goodnight to both of you, pleasant dreams, I'll see you two in the morning."

"Goodnight Michiru." Peorth said, before blowing the Shikigami user a kiss, and then Lind flicked her finger into Peorth's cheek. "Ow. Hey."

"Don't be a flirt Peorth, go to bed." Lind replied. "Goodnight Michiru, Sango and I will see you in the morning for training, so don't be late."

"I won't, goodnight." Michiru said before releasing Miroku's earlobe so the monk would stop whining. "Come on Miroku, its really late."

Michiru and Miroku headed down the hallway leading to the side entrance of the house in order to go to the Temple when the tired teenager spotted Belldandy in the kitchen, he then recalled that the deity said she would wait up for him so they could talk together.

"You go on Miroku; I'll be there shortly after I have a brief chat with Belldandy." Michiru declared after coming to a halt, Miroku did as he was told and left the scene so his Kururugi friend could talk with the first class goddess, he was also tired and eager for some much needed rest after all the humiliating experiences he and been forced to endure as a result of being turned into a girl for a few hours.

"Have you been up waiting for me all this time?" Michiru asked in surprise, feeling badly for depriving Belldandy of some much needed sleep given how she did the vast majority of cooking meals and cleaning up everywhere in the house for everyone presently staying here.

"No Michiru, I got back a short while ago after going out to deliver that container of freshly cooked food you had set aside for Miss Sayoko earlier just before dinner, I thought I'd deliver it to her for you since you were busy going to talk with Urd." Belldandy explained.

"Oh, thanks very much Belldandy, I had so many other things on my mind that I completely forgot about that." Michiru said gratefully.

"How did your talk with Urd turn out?" Belldandy asked out of concern. "Did everything go smoothly between the two of you?"

"It was difficult at first, but we managed to get through it together even though there were a few tears from both of us in the middle of our talk, we shared a lot of laughs and hugs afterwards too." Michiru answered with a sincere smile while he tried to hide the blush as his thoughts recalled all the moments involving himself along with Urd and her Angel World of Elegance. "Urd even introduced me to her Angel World of Elegance, the three of us took some photos of ourselves together, I can show you them with my cell phone if you'd like."

"No, that's alright, it's really late anyway and I'm sure both of us need to get some much needed rest for tomorrow." Belldandy mentioned.

"Very well, goodnight then Belldandy." Michiru said politely before turning to leave until he felt himself being pulled into a hug by the deity.

"Thank you so very much Michiru for accepting Urd's half demon heritage and for being brave enough to talk about the matter with her as well." Belldandy stated appreciatively while she held the tired teenager in a gentle hug to express her gratitude and appreciation for his actions tonight. "Even though I wasn't there to see how your talk with Urd went, I already know that you've made a tremendous difference in her life, you've made her happy in ways not even I could ever do and I'm so grateful to you for doing that for each of us."

"I only wanted to treat Urd equally Belldandy, a-and besides…" Michiru replied before pausing to let out a yawn which showed how tired he was after a busy day and that it was now less than an hour until midnight. "…I couldn't have told Urd without your encouragement."

"I know, but I just felt I needed to express my gratitude for all that you've done for Urd and me." Belldandy explained before releasing the Shikigami user from her tender embrace, she then wiped away a tear from her eye with her hand. "We should both be going to bed now, we've lost enough time as it is and we'll both need sleep for tomorrow if the new day is as busy and eventful as this day was for us."

"You don't have to remind me, I have to wake up early tomorrow to train in the morning with Lind and Sango. Goodnight Belldandy and thank you again for all that you've done for everybody and me today." Michiru stated before Belldandy goodnight and expressing this thanks once again.

"Goodnight Michiru, thank you again." Belldandy replied, keeping her sentence short since both of them had expressed their thanks and gratitude to each other more than once already along with the fact that they both needed to get to bed in order to be rested for tomorrow.

Meanwhile inside of Mara's ruggedly old apartment…

"Man, I'm stuffed! Belldandy sure can cook like a first class goddess; Michiru and his Uncle aren't all that bad at cooking food either. I had a lot of fun today, playing volleyball, helping Kagome dress Miroku up like a girl and getting to laugh all about it in front of the lecherous monk's face while he's stuck with his body transformed into a girl! Ha! That'll teach the perverted monk a lesson!" Mara stated happily while walking down the staircase to the bottom floor of her ruggedly old apartment which was in an abandoned building. "Michiru along with his friends and the goddesses really are a nice bunch, saying that I can come over and have fun with them when ever I want, getting to eat meals with them is nice too sense it beats having to buy and eat boxed lunches from that store I have my part time job at."

"Well it's about time you got home; I've been waiting for hours." Hild replied casually, surprising Mara with her unexpected presence.

"NO!" Mara cried out loud after arriving home to see a young Hild calmly seated on the floor boiling a pot of water over a small cooking stove with a trio of rats tied and hanging just inches above the water's surface. "Lady Hild! Why are you here and what are you doing to my three faithful subordinates?"

"Its unfair for you to have a delicious home cooked meal over and over again so I'm cooking a meal for myself here, after all, I've been waiting for you to come home for hours and I haven't eaten anything yet." Hild answered casually even while she was threatening to cook Mara's trio of rodents alive and eat them for dinner, the ruler of Demon kind certainly knew how to scare and motivate Mara so easily.

"NO! Don't kill my subordinates, I need them!" Mara begged, momentarily forgetting all about the container of food Michiru had given her.

"Why not?" Hild asked in response, while the three restrained rodents squeaked and struggled in vain to break free of their bonds even though they were presently suspended directly over a pot of boiling water. "Are you suggesting that I starve just so these tasty troublemakers can live?"

"N-No! L-Lady Hild, that's n-not what I-I meant." Mara stammered uncontrollably, her lips and hands trembling all at the same time.

"Well then…what did you mean?" Hild asked, turning her gaze on the poor demon lady after she had examined all three rodents with her chopsticks to see which of them was the plumpest until her eyes caught sight of the glass container of food Mara was holding in her trembling hands. "What have you got there Mara? That doesn't look like a boxed lunch. Did the goddesses give you that by any chance?"

"W-Well u-uh, actually M-Michiru gave it to me in case I didn't have time to cook anything for myself tomorrow." Mara answered nervously.

"Really?" Hild replied, keening eyeing the container held in Mara's hands. "Well then, you've said you're stuffed from already eating dinner with Michiru and the goddesses, I'll take that container of food off your hands since you're obviously too full to eat anything more."

"W-What?" Mara stammered uncontrollably, feeling very reluctant to give up the delicious food she had been given. "B-But, Lady Hild…"

"Would you rather I carried on cooking these ripe little rodents?" Hild asked sarcastically while glaring at Mara with a sly grin on her face.

"N-NO! L-Lady Hild, of course not!" Mara said, putting on a fake smile before laughing, anything to spare herself and her subordinates from being punished by Hild. "Here Lady Hild, you'll have to heat up the food a little first before you can it though, but it should take long."

"That's what I thought; ah, now I can finally eat a home cooked meal." Hild replied after Mara handed over the food she was forced to surrender, the ruler of Demon kind quickly released the trio of Mara's subordinates who then scurried away to hide for fear of their lives.

"I-I h-have some good news Lady Hild; there may be a way to increase demon shares by getting rid of the goddesses after all!" Mara pointed out, peeking Hild's interest. "Some of Michiru's Feudal era friends are feeling homesick and want to return to their world, if Michiru were to go with them, three or four of the goddesses would miss him terribly and leave our world behind in order to be with him!"

"Really? Getting rid of three or four goddess at once would be very advantageous for demon kind…" Hild pondered out loud. "But I still haven't seen my little Urdy or introduced myself properly to Michiru Kururugi and his friends; I'd better visit them before they all leave."

"No need to rush Lady Hild, no one will be leaving right away; everybody will still be there at the house tomorrow." Mara pointed out.

"That's a relief, I have to eat this food first since I'm really hungry and besides, I need to make a grand entrance in my true appearance so Michiru along with his friends and the goddesses will know I'm the ruler of Demon kind and shouldn't be trifled with." Hild stated.

"Ha! Ha!" Mara replied, feeling a little relieved now that her subordinates were safe. "I-I was thinking the exact same thing Lady Hild."

Meanwhile up in heaven on the training courtyards…

A group of about twenty to thirty young Valkyries among the junior ranks still in training were busy exercising and sparring together, the sun was shining beautifully through the gaps in the white fluffy clouds which were scattered high above in the blue sky. Directly in front of the training grounds was what looked like a huge projection screen made of an enormous tarp suspended by cables and held upright together with two posts fastened firmly to the ground on each end, magically displayed was a blown up image of a magnificent palace which built on a hill and surrounded by a beautiful green valley with forests on its borders and a series of small lakes and rivers running through it. This palace was in fact the very palace which belonged to the famed Shikigami warrior of legend whom so many female deities had lost their hearts too, seeing an image of Michiru's palace and on occasion, a blown up photo of Michiru himself brought the junior Valkyies joy and inspiration to train hard together and any actions or activities that raised their spirits was always encouraged by others. Suddenly without warning, the palace was engulfed in a blinding flash of unknown magic, bathing the screen in multiple colours of light which caught the attention of the Valkyries and interrupted them from their daily training exercises.

"What in heaven's name is that?" A young Valkyrie asked while wide eyed at the events unfolding on the big projection screen.

"I don't know, the palace is being engulfed in some magic blinding light." Another Valkyrie pointed out as everyone watched in awe.

A moment later, the magic light faded away and the palace was still standing, only it wasn't exactly the same palace it had been before. On the contrary, it had transformed into a much larger palace and its sand coloured stone structure had been completely replaced with white stone marble, cut and polished to perfection. Everything from the slabs, bricks and tiles were built with such craftsmanship that it could equal any building or dwelling made by deities in heaven itself.

"What happened to Michiru's palace?" A Valkyrie asked in astonishment. "It's even bigger than it was before!"

"I think I know, that blinding flash of magical light transformed it and according to what I researched during my leisure time, that magic is directly linked to Yggdrasil." The Lead Valkyrie explained. "When ever a noble warrior has already earned a special place in Valhalla, everything from their new home along with their lifestyle is affected and changed as a result of all the good deeds that warrior performed during their mortal life down on earth, but this only happens once in a while due to how all good deeds are measured."

"I yes, so that means Michiru must have done a very great deed or a bunch of good deeds which caused his palace to change, everything he'll be rewarded with in Valhalla reflects upon all of his acts of kindness and achievements!" Another Valkyrie summarized.

"Since the palace is much larger and more luxurious than before, Michiru will undoubtedly need more servants and housemaids to keep it in clean and working order." A third Valkyrie pointed out, causing the majority of the young female deities to pause momentarily and let their own imaginations do all the work of creating a visual picture of what it would be like to live in such a place and serving such a brave and noble young warrior. "If any of us want to serve as maids, we'd better submit our names before all the positions are taken."

"They're all booked, I checked yesterday after Michiru's personal history was first released and made available." A fourth Valkyrie said.

"But now that Michiru's palace is bigger, surely the household staff of maids and servants would also increase in size and numbers too." A fifth Valkyrie pointed out, suddenly causing the whole class of Valkyries to race over to the nearest employment office where they could submit their names in order to secure a place of employment on the household staff of the Shikigami warrior's newly transformed palace.

"Even if I was merely a servant, it would be worth everything so long as I got to work inside of Michiru's palace and have the opportunity of serving and caring for him every day." One Valkyrie fantasized out loud, many other young Valkyries nodded in agreement with her.

"I know as Valkyries, we're supposed to be training for combat and to provide pleasure to all warriors who are admitted to Valhalla." Another Valkyrie confessed shyly. "Call me selfish, but I want my first time to be with Michiru Kururugi before I serve any other warrior."

"Aw, me too!" All the other junior Valkyries said simultaneously together, their smiles reflecting how happy their hearts were right now as their minds drifted off into daydreams and other such fantasizes of love, affection and passion.

Author's Note: Good day to all of you, it's been far too long since I last updated this story, real life always likes to get in my way. Having to work with my hours cut and pulling in less pay every two weeks is always touch to deal with, I'm all the more fortunate that I paid my mortgage off two Christmas's ago or else I don't know how I'd be able to make ends meet right now.

Moving on, I wanted most of this chapter to focus on Michiru talking together with Urd in order to discuss the goddess's half demon heritage which is an extremely delicate subject and since there would be a few tearful moments between the two of them until they could recover from that ordeal, that's why I had to include the humorous scenes at the start and at the end so the whole chapter wouldn't be all serious or sad. I also thought it would be a good opportunity to show how some of Michiru's good deeds would affect the lifestyle that awaits him in Valhalla, each and every good deed adds up and isn't overlooked in the world of the deities and the same goes for inexcusable misdeeds as well which is something Miroku somehow still hasn't learned or grasped yet.

Lastly, I'll admit I'm rather impatient at moving the story setting to Feudal Japan so the fighting can begin, Inuyasha mentioned some of those reasons already during the dinner scene shortly before Michiru had to deal with him and Kagome fighting which was another issue I wanted to address and get out of the way too. Inuyasha and Kagome are both powder kegs and all it takes is for the other to strike a match with the worst response or wrong choice of words, its no wonder they argue and fight so often over the littlest things. And to tell you the truth, I'm amazed Naraku hasn't used that to his advantage given how he likes to manipulate others, especially how he manipulated Inuyasha and Kikyo to turn on each other just so he could shatter their bond and corrupt the sacred Shikon Jewel.

Another reason why I want to move the story setting to Feudal Japan is so other characters can make their appearances and Michiru can begin his second adventure with his friends and the goddesses alongside him. That is the point where the plot can branch off into different paths with an important event (mystery, battle, etc.) occurring at a certain time and place in order to sow the seeds for another soon to follow afterwards. Given that the potential of Michiru's Shikigami powers are a carefully guarded secret in heaven for reasons unknown to Michiru himself along with Alastor's secret agenda, how the goddesses and all of Michiru's Feudal era friends are all affected by this; the story will escalate to another level which is truly when Michiru will be put to the test and most of his greater accomplishments will be achieved. My thanks to all of you for reading and reviewing each chapter for this story and for taking the time to share ideas or advice about how to write out or address specific events regarding the characters involved.

Greymon Leader Batx flashpoint: I'm glad you enjoyed all of those scenes you mentioned in the previous chapter, I wanted to give Michiru and Natasha a chance to square off against Lind so that the two of them would get a chance to combine their efforts together without the use of Michiru's Shikigami magic or the powerful abilities of Inuyasha's Tetsusaiga and see how well they'd do in a battle with just weapons and force. Ah, yes, Miroku's never been given the humiliation he so rightly deserves in the anime or the manga for all his misdeeds, especially towards Sango so I thought I'd give him a taste of his own medicine and make his life a living hell just for one afternoon. We can all agree he has it coming, but the best part will be when he finds out what awaits Michiru in the afterlife and realizes he'll never receive the same lifestyle or affections as a result of his lecherous behaviour and numerous acts of trickery and thievery throughout his mortal life. I'm happy you're interested in what the future holds for Kagura and Kanna, sadly I can't reveal anything until after Michiru and everybody else returns to Feudal Japan first. I hope you can survive the long wait until those answers along with many others are soon revealed. Thank you for being a loyal fan, you're always pleased and entertained no matter how long it takes for me to type out each new chapter or no matter what I happen to write in each chapter as well.

J4RRE77: Since the setting in the OMG anime is at the house 90 percent of the time along with the fact that Sayoko Mishima doesn't appear very often, it's easy for me to forget that Belldandy also goes to Nekomi Tech where both of them can see each other during school hours. Yes, you're absolutely right, especially since goddesses understand how a person's heart and soul are conflicted throughout life and over time. Kagome can't possibly understand and even if she could, she has no business trying to manipulate others by playing match maker, especially with the relationship between Sango and Miroku. I don't want to make Kikyo a cyborg.

Thanks, after studying Greek history and mythology in school, I just couldn't pass up the opportunity of having Michiru bring up the myth regarding Paris having to choose which of several Greek goddesses is the most beautiful and the tragic events of the Trojan War which followed afterwards. Skuld and Urd argue a lot which can cause destruction given that they're both deities, but at least they have more control over their tempers than Kagome and Inuyasha both due and they have Belldandy to step in and break them up if things get out of hand, the number of fights between them compared with Kagome and Inuyasha are way down on the scales after all.

When I watched that funny event in an OMG episode, I just had to use that in order to put Miroku in the same position so he'd experience a taste of his own lecherous behaviour from a female's perspective and needless to say, it did the trick spectacularly and provided myself and all the readers with some priceless humour as well. Let's face it, Miroku totally deserves every second of all the suffering he endured while his body was temporarily transformed into a teenage girl, I honestly couldn't see any other way of making him question his own lecherous ways and wonder what woman feel like when they're harassed by his unwelcome touch, especially Sango.

Oops! I don't know how I got their identities mixed up, thanks for correcting me. I know Belldandy isn't supposed to tell lies, but I thought she could get away with a white lie in order to hide the fact that goddesses exist along with demons and magic since such knowledge is kept secret to only those who are trustworthy like Keiichi and the characters from Inuyasha. Otaki and Tamiya happened to arrive just after Miroku was transformed into a girl so naturally everybody was unprepared and had to hide how that happened, Mara and Skuld have also had to fib on occasion when Otaki and Tamiya suspected that something was off during certain episodes as well so I thought it was justified and workable.

Sorry, when I said that Kanna and Kagura were travelling eastwards, I should have said that Kanna and Kagura also traveled off the edge of the map that exists in the Inuyasha SOTCM Game, what lays beyond is what left for me to decide and given that Koga's wolf demon tribe was battling against demon birds that nested in mountains during his first appearance in the Inuyasha anime close to where his cave is located, it was natural to believe that mountains exist or could exist beyond the edge of the map from the Cursed Mask game.

Lastly, thank you so much for all your aid and thoughts for this story so far, especially when it comes to the relationships of the goddesses and Michiru given that this is slowly leaning towards a harem for the famous Shikigami warrior of legend. Lind will still remain a mystery to me, I'm very fortunate to have your insight to her character so I'll know how she'll respond or feel in a certain situation. Now that I've finally done uploading this chapter, we can discuss more ideas that our minds create about Michiru or the goddesses, etc.

Hotelkatz: Thank you, it's always difficult to achieve quality and quality always takes time which is a non renewable resource, I value time even more than money regardless of the fact that the world and people's lives are run and dependent on it. That's a nice idea even though I don't know if Mara even has the power to influence people's dreams while they're unconscious, Mara would enjoy making Miroku suffer for coping a feel of her in an earlier chapter, and we all enjoy seeing Miroku suffer considering how he manages to get away with his lecherous behaviour in the anime and manga which is why I personally punish him in my fanfics.

Orionpax09: No apologies necessary, I myself have to read your chapters two or three times over to make sure I don't overlook or misunderstand anything, especially since I want to leave a lengthy and detailed review afterwards for such each and every great chapter that you write. Yes, he had a lot to worry about, his reputation would be over (at least in his own eyes) if everybody found out about the condoms he had purchased despite having good reasons for doing so along with the fact that some of the goddesses (namely Peorth and Urd) would increase their flirtatious advances on him before he's truly ready for experiencing the pleasures of the flesh. Yes, goddesses of all beings must know that white lies are told to avoid hurting one's feelings or to protect someone's identity for the greater good, this is especially important for the goddesses considering that many of them are dwelling down on earth where they can be discovered by evil minded human beings or demonic foes, etc.

You're absolutely right, Kagome is the worst when it comes to causing trouble or friction between others, she has the biggest mouth and ego with no patience to let things go when ever matters don't go her way. Inuyasha may have a big mouth and ego as well, but he's a half demon who happens to live in Feudal Japan which is an entirely different world with many different dangerous and prejudices than Modern Japan where Kagome resides. I really hate to say this, but between Kagome and Miroku, I honestly think Kagome gets away with a hell of a lot more than the lecherous monk does. One must remember that Miroku lives in Feudal Japan and wouldn't last one day with his history of misdeeds if he ever lived or visited Modern Japan by himself with no one to keep him from causing trouble. Kagome as we all know from watching Inuyasha episodes, can not only survive and travel back and forth between both eras thanks to the Bone Eater's well at the Higurashi Shrine, she can skip out on school or leave the Feudal era on a whim when ever she wants for as long as she wants just because she doesn't have the guts or the tolerance to deal with a problem (whether she's at fault for causing it or not) that falls into her lap. Since Belldandy is always looking out for others, it was only natural that she intervened and asked Kagome to stop, she also willing to admit her own faults or flaws (not that she has or had any) and improve herself which is also something Kagome refuses to openly acknowledge or attempt to do.

Although Michiru already has a general idea of why Lind respects him, he doesn't realize the full extent of what awaits him in the afterlife or of the reputation he's already made for himself given that deities judge humans differently than humans judge themselves, especially when it comes to treating others equally or respectfully regardless of how difficult life can get and how an individual can only tolerate so much until they reach the limits of their endurance. Given his own shy personality and lack of confidence and experience when it comes to interacting with girls, its only natural that Michiru treads slowly and carefully to address a delicate matter whether it be confronting Urd about her half demon heritage or building a relationship with any of the goddesses, especially after all the bumps and blunders between Kagome and Inuyasha along with Sango and Miroku. Although the Modern era has many advantages and disadvantages which are very different from the Feudal era, human beings are still the same regardless of where or when they live, Michiru knows this and doesn't take anything for granted which is why he is concerned about how his actions or choices affect others since he doesn't want to hurt any of his friends which is a lesson Kagome and Miroku have unfortunately forgotten or ignored.

Peorth and Michiru have both gone through a whole lot (the good, the bad and the difficult) in just a few days so I thought it was time to give them another tender moment together now that both of them are ready to gradually take their relationship to another level even though they still have a very long way to go before they arrive at the defining moment of their love. While Peorth wants to fulfill her own desires and is aware that she has competition, she's learning to take things one step at a time especially since Michiru is doing the same thing for her and both of them are equally worried about losing what they have by rushing things or accidentally hurting others.

I wanted to see how Michiru and Inuyasha would fair against Lind without Shikigami magic or powerful attacks from Inuyasha's Tetsusaiga, everybody is in the Modern era and can't run the risk of causing destruction even though the goddesses could use their divine power to repair any damages that are done to people or property. When one method doesn't work, you either improvise or try another even if it sounds crazy or could be risky, especially when you'll do just about anything to get what you want out of life even though this was merely a friendly sparring match. Michiru certainly found himself in a tight spot when he was caught admiring a teenage Skuld (its okay to look so long as you keep your thoughts to yourself and don't touch which is exactly the opposite of what Miroku would do) and then drawn into the argument between both of Belldandy's sisters afterwards. At least Michiru managed to extract himself by admitting how he didn't want to ruin his friendship with each of them by being forced to decide which of them was the most attractive and how he referred to a similar situation in Greek mythology when Paris had to make the same choice amongst several Greek goddesses which then resulted with his own demise and that of Troy which more or less warned them of how much destruction and chaos could be caused by any deities arguing amongst themselves.

Skuld is the youngest goddess from the OMG anime and she often feels left on the sidelines or excluded by others just because she's not old enough to take part in their discussions or activities and as a result, she doesn't get to have as much fun which is why she locks herself away in her laboratory to invent and build technologically advanced tools to entertain herself with, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that either, all individuals experience the same situation in one way or another throughout their lives as well. With the company of Michiru and his Feudal era friends, Skuld is finally able to enjoy herself and interact with people on a daily basis and given how bored she was working on Yggdrasil up in heaven along with the how she suffered at the hands of Toshiyuki, she doesn't want any of that to end which is why she bit the bullet and lied so everybody's fun wouldn't be ruined.

Oops! Sorry about that, I didn't realize there was a problem with Yggdrasil or that Keiichi ate one of Urd's potions when I watched the episode where Skuld gave him that flan. I just had to put Miroku in that position, not only for the comedy that would be provided, but also because Miroku somehow never gets any long term punishments for his misdeeds or learns how his lecherous actions offend Sango and other women for that matter. Since he doesn't get punished in the anime or the manga, I took it upon myself to punish him in my story since the realm of fan fiction is the only place where he's truly held accountable for his offences, crimes, etc. This story also happens to combine Inuyasha with Oh My Goddess so the deities will also judge and punish him for what he is and all that he's done too. Transforming Miroku into a girl and having everybody tease and humiliate him is truly the only way to make the perverted monk question his own lecherous ways and wonder why none of his friends or the goddesses care about him suffering such an unfortunate fate.

As you've already guessed, Alastor has his own secret agenda and ambitions as all antagonists have in any fictional story whether it be online or in a real book, I'm glad you're on alert and paying attention to him even though he's a character I made up to provide as another villain for Michiru to face in the future. I'm sorry to say I can't reveal any answers or clues regarding his sinister plans at the present time in the story, but once the setting moves to the Feudal era, those will gradually unfold piece by piece at the story continues. Yes, Kanna and Kagura are alive and I also feel as sorry for each of them as you do, they've taken life and done terrible deeds even though the fact that they're both incarnations of Naraku and used as expendable pawns without any means of escape is sadly overlooked to most Inuyasha fans. That mystery will soon be solved shortly after Michiru along with his friends and the goddesses travel to the Feudal era which is something I've been wanting to do as soon as possible, for the reasons Inuyasha mentioned before Kagome snapped at him and to get the story moving along so I can take the story to another level and let Alastor put his plan into action.

I wasn't intending this story to turn into a harem situation when I first started writing it, but as I learned more about the goddesses (namely Urd and Lind) and found out how lonely they must be feeling, the story ran its own course for a few chapters until I eventually made the decision to include multiple pairings with alternate endings including an ending where Michiru has a relationship with all three goddesses and Sango since she deserves better than Miroku. As Belldandy advised Michiru during one of their talks, he should keep treating everybody equally and respectfully until he's figured out his own feelings and the women interested in pursuing a romantic relationship with him have figured out theirs as well, then all of them can discuss what to do and how to move forward from there.

Lastly, the matter of Michiru confronting Urd about her demonic heritage, that subject was especially delicate and difficult to write out which is why this chapter took forever to complete. I left that challenge half finished in order to focus on other scenes including those hilarious ones involving Miroku since they were shorter and easier to do first, once I figured out how to conclude that complicated matter, I eventually wrote out everything else I wanted to add in until this chapter was finally complete in a way that I could feel fully satisfied with. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and review each chapter I write for this story along with your thoughts for the characters in certain situations and so on, I always look forward to reading what you have to respond with, especially regarding the relationships that Michiru shares with the goddesses. Oh, and I offer my sincerest apologies for not yet reviewing the latest chapter belonging to one of your own Inuyasha stories, I usually leave a review on the day or a day after you uploaded your work.
