Chapter 1

Carne

Warning! I DO NOT OWN OVERLORD NOR NARUTO!

Allhailthesith: Q: soooo madaras race?

A: going to mention it in this chapter.

Gasizol: Q: Madara's initial reaction towards being transferred might have been too calm even if was someone like Madara.

A: I may have to agree with you there, but this was his second time being transferred to another world.

Eu sunt Dracul: Q (Paraphrased): will you nerf the Overlord characters? Overlord characters are faster than Naruto characters.

A: No. I will not be nerfing them but rather I'm buffing Madara. As he is now in the body of his game avatar and real body. I do not know about faster.

Also for Momonga. I know not to trust wiki but on the wiki, it said that Momonga wasn't the strongest person in the guild, rather than title belonged to Touch Me. Also, it was directly stated by Momonga that he mainly dealt with business and regulations.

In the game, Madara and Momonga are on the same level but when you combine that Madara and Naruto Madara… boom Momonga doesn't stand a chance.

Guest: A: please refrain from saying offensive things to other users.

-Madara-

-The entrance of his quarters-

Madara's hand wavered between a hand of a humanoid and that of a long four fingered doppelgänger. Yes, Madara was a doppelgänger and he was a bit disgusted at his unshaped-shifted appearance. Sure it made it easier to disguise as an enemy and cause havoc, but the white, long body was too ugly for his likening.

In YGGDRASIL, doppelgängers could change into players and with enough stalking and practice, you could fool anyone. There was one problem with this ability though if a player of same or higher level used a detection skill the players true name would appear rather than the person the doppelgängers transformed into to. Since level 100 was the max level and more than 40% of players were level 100 and almost all guilds had at least a single level 100 in their ranks, it was hard for long-term espionage.

However in this world, he did not know the limitations of his ability, he now has chakra along with his YGGDRASIL body, effectively making him 2x stronger in his normal state compared to when he arrived on Earth.

"Welcome milord," the head of his servants bowed with a graceful smile. This NPC didn't have any roots in the Shinobi World, but he was his strongest attendant at level 80. The NPC was the only level 80 human in the tomb.

The nine maids and butlers bowed with practiced ease.

"Nia Osoriti, please prepare some tea. Also is the weapon I requested from the blacksmith ready?" Madara asked.

Nia Osoriti nodded gracefully as he motioned one of the maids to fetch the said item. "The enchantments that you have requested have been added by the Mage faction, milord," he stated as a maid with black hair tied in a bun with a yellow ribbon approached with a massive object at hand. "{Reinforcement}, {greater physical nullification}, {greater magic nullification}, {absolute protection}, and {greater magic amplifier} have been added at your request. We decided to throw in {greater wind gust} spell crystals with 20 uses hidden on the handle, if it is not to your likening please notify me, milord," Nia stated.

{Greater wind gust}? This is… "You are a scary person, Nia," Madara stated as he inspected the weapon and activated one of the crystals. "It would seem you know more about me than anyone else," The Uchiha said with an impressed tone as the wind picked up and a whirlwind surrounded the weapon. "You seem to have gotten the shape and decorations perfect."

Madara swung the weapon in an unoccupied space and a wind comparable to a tornado's power was released and slammed into the polished stone, denting it but the numerous spells repaired the damage almost instantaneously. "This weapon… the Uchiha's weapon… the gunbai…" he chuckled to himself.

The ten maids and butlers remained silent as they watched the actions of their master.

Then a Pleiades of Nazarick walked in diligently. The one known as Nabe bowed to her superior. "Lord Madara, I'm here to inform you that Momonga-sama has… left the Great Tomb of Nazarick for unspecified means, Albedo-sama is accompanied him. Sebas-sama requested me to give you this information even though Momonga-sama did not authorize it," she stated in a calm voice.

"Oh? Where is he now?" Madara asked as he slowly approached Nabe.

"Sebas-sama said that he went to a human village called Carne Village. Shall I give you the coordinates, Lord Madara?" Nabe asked.

"No. You are dismissed," Madara said coolly. It would seem, even Momonga has taken Touch Me's teachings to heart. Saving a person in need, such ludicrous ideals. Nabe bowed politely before walking out of the grand room.

"Foolish," he muttered as he spun on his heel and went straight to his bedroom. "Raise the security of Nazarick, I shall be resting, do not wake me," he ordered or grumbled sleepily.

"Yes, milord."

-Outside the Guild's Throne Room-

"You are foolish, Momonga," Madara declared as he leaned against the wall. "There is no benefit in saving the village, only a waste of our limited resources."

"Madara-san, please call me Ainz now. And to answer your question, consider this an experiment in using modern ruling techniques in this world and the beginning of our legend on this world," Momonga, or rather Ainz Ooal Gown, replied.

"You are arrogant, decisive, and obnoxious," Madara retorted. "Claiming yourself the guild without my knowledge, don't you think that's rather arrogant of you?"

Momonga's eyes flicked with hurtful expression, although his emotional trigger didn't activate.

"I honestly do not care." Not like I'm to talk, the Uchiha was arrogant pricks, myself included.

Momonga sighed deeply. "I admit that was rather arrogant of me, I apologize for doing it without your consent or knowledge beforehand," he admitted to Madara.

"Hn."

Momonga chuckled on the inside at the purposeful hypocrisy. "Madara-san, may I ask a favor?"

"Oh? Very well, speak it."

"May you and your troops protect and rebuild the village?" Momonga spoke his request.

Madara raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Why not use your own troops?" he asked.

"My troops are mainly undead forces as I'm an undead sorcerer. However, your troops are mainly comprised of humans and the village is a human settlement. It's the matter of trust as humans naturally are comfortable with their own rather than a stranger or another species," Momonga explained. "Also you have more experience in ruling, or working up high, than me and we both know it."

"That's a sound reasoning, I do have a problem though. 80% of my troops are guarding the tomb and the rest are building outposts for future reconnaissance missions," Madara stated. "I could pull out some troops from guard duty…"

"But?" Momonga asked expecting it.

Madara looked at the undead sorcerer with an amused look. Momonga recognized the look and his imposing demeanor came crumbling down as he scratched his head sheepishly.

"You owe me one," Madara said off-handily as he walked away, leaving Momonga standing there in silence.

-Carne Village-

It had been a day since the sorcerer named Ainz Ooal Gown left them in order to attend some of his business. The town was rebuilding quite smoothly with the extra manpower that the goblins provided. Then they heard the distant thunder of many men marching in a synchronized manner.

"Is the Baharuth Empire attacking?!" a villager shrieked. The goblins that were summoned by one of the four strongest people in the village, Enri Emmot with an object provided by Ainz Ooal Gown.

"No! It must be the Slane Theocracy again!"

The goblins stood with their iron weapons at the ready. They did not waver even faced with such aura of death. They were summoned to die, after all.

Then the thunderous marching stopped abruptly. "His lord, Madara-sama has come on the behalf of Lord Ainz to protect Carne Village! Lower your weapons! Not doing so will result in death!" a loud voice shouted from where the army stood

The imposing army wore black armor, a stark contrast to the white steel armor of the Baharuth Empire. The lack of religious signs of the Slane Theocracy implied that it was another empire, but there were only 3 human empires in this world. The speaker was clearly human.

"Ainz-sama?" one of the villagers whispered.

"Did… Ainz-sama send them?"

"Ma-tar-a?"

The goblins stood steadfast. The villagers were put in a little more ease and relaxed visibly. Then the thundering continued even louder.

In front of the army was a devilishly handsome man with red armor covering only his vital areas. He seemed to wield a weird weapon and a scythe. His eyes shined red with a bored expression.

"Company 2-4 secure the surrounding area and begin fortifications. Company 1 follow me," Madara ordered as he approached the village. A red-haired woman in a maid outfit followed obediently.

"Is he really Ainz-sama's friend?" Enri asked under her breath.

"Is Enri Emmot here?" Madara asked in a bored tone. When no one moved he asked again, "Is Enri Emmot here?" This time his tone was more aggressive.

"I'm Enri Emmot," Enri said with a slight yelp.

"I am Madara Uchiha, general of the Black Army, treasurer of the Tomb of Nazarick, and Ainz Ooal Gown's personal advisor," Madara introduced in a dull voice. "This here is Lupusregina Beta, a Pleiades of the Tomb of Nazarick," he motioned at the maid. "I'm here on the behalf of Ainz and Nazarick to make this a profitable asset worthy of my undivided attention, you should be grateful."

Enri was speechless at the declaration the goblins visibly relaxed as Lupusregina bowed in a polite manner. "A-Ainz-sama has sent you here? I thought… he was a secluded magic caster?"

Madara inwardly sighed at this. Secluded magic caster? How do I work with this? "Well I'm a childhood friend of his, that he called over for this," he lied.

"Childhood friend?" Enri questioned.

"Yes. May we please move on," Madara said with a glare, Lupusregina shivered from the tone. At Least she isn't a loyal puppy like Albedo to Momonga. Madara thought with a minor shiver, women are scary. Wait I thought her settings was a bitch?

Enri visibly flinched from the tone and the goblins were put on guard once again. "I-I'm sorry Madara-sama!" she bowed as deep as she could.

"Rise," Madara said in a cold tone, "I do not have time to deal with this, Ainz-san told me to defend and develop this village's economy." Enri rose to her feet. "Let's first get security out of the way, how many goblins did you summon?"

"A-Around 2,500."

Madara rose an eyebrow at the number, "2,500? How many did you use?" In YGGDRASIL the item Horn of the Goblin General could summon 19 goblins...

"I-I used one.." Enri replied.

Only one?! "Wait for one?" Madara asked in bewilderment.

"Yes, Madara-sama," Enri said in a more composed tone.

Ah.. so the certain requirement was met… surprising coming from a low level human. "Didn't Ainz give you two?" Madara asked in which Enri nodded. "So if you are telling the truth… then you could Summon 2,500 more so… around 5,000 goblins… I have currently 500 soldiers…. so the force is about 5,500?" he mused.

Enri remained silent.

"What is your main source of income?" Madara asked.

"Farming and tree cutting, Madara-sama," Enri replied easily.

"Then can you show me to your fields in which you grow your crops?" Madara asked. Enri nodded and motioned him to follow.

"Lupusregina, please help repair the town with some magic," Madara ordered without looking back. He did not see her response as he went out of hearing range. A loud rumbling was heard as the mages erected walls and fortifications.

"W-Wha-"

"Ignore it, my mages are doing their job," Madara cut in before she spoke a complete word. Enri reluctantly nodded.

A little while later they arrived at the fields that were currently abandoned due to the need to repair the village. "This is the fields where we grow our crops," Enri stated with a sense of pride. "We mainly grow wheat and corn."

(A/N I'm not a farming and don't have any intentions of being one so if you think some things are wrong please tell me)

"Biodiversity," Madara stated firmly.

"Bio...diversity?" Enri asked the word sounding foreign yet simple.

"You should plant a more variety of crops, keeps the soil healthy. Plant a few trees to avoid erosion as well," Madara explained. "I honestly don't know much about farming but where I come from farming fields are bigger and more efficient than your fields."

Enri looked offended at his comment, "So how do you suppose we make it more 'efficient?'"

"Here, this is a prototype of a simple machine that revolutionized my country's agricultural economy," Madara stated as his took out a seal and spread it out. Saying nothing as he slammed his palm on the scroll and channeled his chakra into it. A plume of smoke obscured their vision but as it dispersed it revealed a simple plow.

"What is this?" Enri questioned.

"It's called a reaper if you attached this to two horses and… you know what I'll show you," Madara declared as he grabbed the plow and dragged it two the stables. The horses were uncomfortable with him but Madara sub-consciously equipped the Band of the Beast.

The Band of the Beast has an effect of calming any animal that is lower than level 10, it was kind of a useless item in YGGDRASIL but it did the trick as the horses calmed down.

It took him ten minutes to tighten the reins and the buckles before he came out and demonstrated the plow to Enri. "Wow! This is… this is… what was the word?"

"Revolutionary."

"Revolutionary! Madara-sama!" Enri said with glee. Madara smirked at her antics and approached her.

"Momonga left again?" Madara asked over the {Message} spell.

"{Yes Lord Madara, Ainz-sama seemed content on visiting another human settlement, the fortress city of E-Rantel,}" the leader of the Peladas, Yuri Alpha, responded coolly.

"Oh? Which nation's city is that?" Madara asked as he kicked a pebble in boredom, the pebble itself falling off the edge of the tower he stood on.

"{The Human Kingdom of Re-Estize, Madara-sama.}"

"Hm. The same nation we're located in," Madara grumbled as he looked at the sunset. The rumbling of another wall getting erected was felt throughout the village. "Thank you," he then cut the connection.

"Hm. Since the villagers did not need to pay for materials… the economy should be stable… might need to set up a bank soon," the Uchiha mumbled to himself. "I'm bored."

With that Madara Uchiha jumped off the ledge to look for excitement.

"Is this… E-Rantel?" Madara whispered as he measured the wall with his eyes.

"Yeah, it's beautiful isn't?" a voice responded from beside him.

"Hn. I have seen more beautiful things in life than this piece of glorified stone," Madara replied coolly as he calmly walked to the gates, not even giving a glance at the person. The person blinked with his brown eyes.

Building structure… similar to the beginning village of YGGDRASIL. No electricity… truly this is medieval. Madara mused as he looked around.

"That's some weird weapon he has…" someone muttered within his hearing range.

"It's shaped like a peanut!" another person exclaimed which earned him a glare from its wielder.

Madara blocked the voices in his head and sighed. "I should head back soon."

"M-Madara-san?!" a familiar voice yelled behind him. Madara turned and saw a dark tall warrior who stood at the height of the ever tall Momonga. Wait it is Momonga.

"Tch. So Yuri's information was correct, you did go to E-Rantel," Madara said coolly as he approached his fellow guild member. "Oh? You brought Nabe with you? I wasn't informed of this," he said spotting Nabe a step behind Momonga.

"Madara-sam-" Nabe was cut off as Momonga bopped her head making Madara raise an eyebrow.

"Call Madara-san, Madara-san. Ok, Nabe-san?" Momonga stated firmly under his helm, seemingly recovered from the surprise of his appearance.

"Y-Yes… Momon… -san," Nabe replied as she rubbed the top of her head rather cutely.

"Ah, Momon-san! A friend of yours?" a voice asked further behind Momonga.

"Momon?" Madara mused quietly.

"Ah… you see we were comrades once during our time during the military," Momonga lied as he kind of rubbed his neck sheepishly.

"You're ex-military?!" a few voices plus the first gasped.

"Yes…"

Nabe gave a cold glare behind her. "Annoying pests," she muttered under her breath.

"I'll be off then," Madara declared as he turned only to stop when a large armored hand clasped on to his shoulder. "Tch. What do you want?"

The Uchiha swore he saw Momonga blink at his actions before letting go. "Uh… I was wondering if you could accompany us on this trip. For us, you know… catch up on old times?" he said.

"Hn. I don't have anything else to do," Madara grumbled in annoyance. Momonga pulled him in so his the face of his helm was next to his ear.

"Why are you here?" Momonga asked dangerously.

"I was bored," Madara replied coolly as he pushed Momonga off of him. Nabe twitched but did not act.

"Who is taking care of the village?" Momonga asked dangerously but it was quiet enough that only he and Madara could only hear.

"A girl named Enri, the goblin general," Madara replied with a glare. He dropped his glare a second later and sighed tiredly. "Now, may I know why you came here?"

"We'll speak later, right now I'm known as Momon, refer to me as such," Momonga declared.

"Momonga… Ainz Ooal Gown… Momon, honestly decide a name already," Madara sighed.

A blonde boy… girl?... walked up next to Momonga and said, "I'm Nfirea Bareare, a pharmacist of this city." The boy did a polite nod. "I take it you are a friend of Momon-san?"

"I'm Madara Uchiha, currently a bored man looking for excitement," Madara introduced. "To answer your question, yes I'm a friend of Momon-san."

"Nice to meet you, Madara-san, I'm Peter Mauk, leader of the Silver adventurer team, Swords of Darkness," another blonde introduced. He then gestured to the people behind him. "This is my team: our team's ranger, Lukrut-" he gestured to the blonde man who was trying to flirt with Nabe "-Our resident druid, Dyne, and our little mage, Ninya-" he gestured to the little boy -girl?- "-together we're the Swords of Darkness."

Adventures? Silver-class?

"So Momon, what is this trip you speak of?" Madara asked as he folded his arms.

"Well… it's actually a mission I'm undertaking right now with Peter-san and his team," Momonga replied.

"Mission?"

Nfirea took a step forward. "It was a job request that I gave to Momon-san, he is to escort me to Carne Village," he stated with a smile.

"Carne Village? Hm… I don't think it's safe to go there," Madara stated as his eyes hardened.

Nfirea blinked. "Why?"

"You don't know, do you? Carne Village was attacked a few days ago, there might be zombies roaming the outskirts with all the dead that was buried," Madara revealed.

Nfirea's eyes widened in shock, "Then we must go there immediately!"

"I also heard that goblins took over the area as their own," Madara revealed even more and frowned as Nfirea continued to break. "Do you have someone there important to you?"

"We must go to Carne Village in great haste!" Nfirea declared as he ran to his place.

Momonga nudged him on the shoulder. "Did you really have to do that?"

"Tch. It was worth a try, I was hoping to keep our economic base a secret for now," Madara whispered.

"You have become blunter since you joined," Momonga stated.

"Your influences are rubbing off on me." Nfirea was calmer but they barely stopped for a break. They even engaged a goblin horde to take a shortcut through the forest just to arrive there.

It took five hours to get Carne Village.

"What is this?" Nfirea questioned as he stared aghast at the stone wall that wasn't there the last time he came.

"Welcome to Carne Village," Madara said coolly as he walked past him and signaled one of his men that it was him.

"Madara-sama!"

"Madara… sama?" Ninya questioned as he looked around in confusion.

Peter walked up to Madara and demanded, "What is going on?!" He dared not touch Madara right now to avoid any misunderstandings.

Madara took a glance at Momonga and Nabe before sighing very deeply. "Three days ago, bandits attacked the village but was saved by a friend of mine, Ainz Ooal Gown," he began.

"Ainz Ooal Gown?" Dyne asked.

"Yes, he is an old friend of mine who is a very powerful magic caster. For simplicity sake the old bones killed the bandits and saved the village," Madara finished, earning a minor glare from Nabe and a major one from Momonga.

"And you? How come these people and these… goblins? Why are they here?" Lukrut asked as he pointed at the people and the goblins manning the wall, his trained eyes honing in on their equipment.

"The goblins were summoned by the girl Enri, using an object given to her by Ainz," Madara stated as Nfirea tightened his hold on the reins at the mention of the name, "the people in the expensive black armor and robes are my men who I sponsored a lot of my money on."

"So they're your men?" Dyne asked.

"Correct, I was hired by Ainz to protect and fortify this village from any other attacks," Madara stated coolly.

"S-So… everyone is alright?" Nfirea asked hesitantly as he shivered under the gaze of one of the soldiers manning the wall.

"Let's talk in a more… roofed area," Madara said darkly as it started to lightly rain.

"Madara-sama! Welcome back… Nfirea?" Enri trailed off as everyone filed into her office.

"Enri! Are you alright? Are you hurt?" Nfirea asked as he grasped Enri's shoulders and looked her in the eyes.

"I-I'm fine, Lord Ainz gave me a potion that healed my wounds," Enri revealed as she smiled brightly. She turned to Madara, "Madara-sama why did you leave me here with all this work?" The blonde pouted cutely, seemingly brushing off Nfirea's concerns.

"I got bored," Madara responded coolly as he looked away with a slight sense of embarrassment.

Enri glared intently at Madara for a second more before turning to the rest of the occupants. "I'm Enri Emmot, the general of the Goblin army stationed here and the apprentice of Madara-sama, or sensei," she bowed politely. Madara quirked an eyebrow at the last title.

Eh? Since when did I say she was my apprentice?

"I'm Peter Mauk leader of the Silver-class team, the Swords of Darkness," Peter introduced with pride as he introduced his team.

"May you excuse me, I have duties to attend to," Madara stated, "feel free to laze around but please avoid the construction sites." He sent a glance at Momonga and Nabe before heading out.

Momonga and Nabe exited a moment later and approached him. Momonga spoke first, "You did a lot of work, Madara-san. It has only been three days since I asked you to support this village."

Madara smirked at the compliment before his face twisting into a more neutral expression, "We never got to talk about it, why did you go to E-Rantel?"

Momonga's mood also turned dark. "To gather information. Now tell me the real reason why you were at E-Rantel."

"To search for excitement, or do you not know my rather lame nickname?" Madara asked his face turned twisted into a mad grin. "I haven't fought a good battle in days! The only reason I played YGGDRASIL and fought in the World Tournament was that I was bored!"

"Tch. You are truly a battle maniac," Momonga scoffed, his mana increasing while Madara responded by increasing his chakra and mana. This power! Madara never showed this much mana before! This is... this is on the equivalent of my mana! Momonga's bells started to ring with the rising pressure.

"Madara-sama, Momonga-sama, we are not on the battlefield," Nabe calmly tried to diffuse the situation but when two glares were directed at her she felt like her existence was being erased slowly.

Madara was the first to calm. "The cute doppelgänger is right, this is not a battlefield," he sighed while Nabe cheeks turned dark red.

A moment later the rest of the group exited the door and approached them. "Tch. We'll talk about this later," Momonga stated with a glare.

"Nabe… is blushing?" Lukrut questioned as he took a glance at his 'love of his life.'

Nabe hardened her gaze and turned them into a glare that could freeze fire. "Want me to stuff a bone in your throat, mongrel?" she threatened with venom that could kill an elephant, although a light blush remained on her pale face.

"On a second thought…" Lukrut trailed off as he sweated profusely.

Peter took a cautious step forward and spoke, "Nfirea and Enri are talking privately, she said that we could stay in the newly constructed Inn for the night."

"Oh? She actually got the mages to do it?" Madara smirked. "I think I could leave a little bit more often then if she could command my troops so well, maybe I could make her second-in-command.

"Now may you excuse me, I have to go take care of some things," Madara said as he took a step around the corner.

Peter released a heavy sigh of relief before turning his gaze on Momon, "You and he were comrades in the military, right?"

"For 10 years," Momonga clarified.

"Right, for 10 years. So do you happen to know this Ainz Ooal Gown?" Peter inquired. The rest of the Swords of Darkness also looked at Momon, even Nukrut looked serious.

Momon nodded his head. "Nabe here was an apprentice of Ainz," he revealed. "If Nabe was a prodigy, then he was a super genius. I've seen him do fifth-tier spells, although he always hid his face with a red mask, he was undoubtedly one of the strongest people I know."

"Fifth-tier?!" the whole Swords of Darkness exclaimed.

Momon said no more and instead motioned Nabe to follow as he took off saying, "I need to see something."

Then a loud noise sounded, an unusual sound to the villagers, the Swords of Darkness, Nfirea, and Nabe but familiar to Momonga, Madara, Enri, and the Black Soldiers. The noise of a war siren. "Please stay in your homes and keep calm!" a goblin yelled as the loud sound continued to sound.

Madara walked casually to the wall, a Black Soldier saluted in his presence and announce the situation, "Sir! Goblin and Ogre horde 10 kilometers away!"

"So it begins," Madara said to himself as he walked passed the soldier and up the wall.

Enri called him. "{Madara-sama! What should we do?}"

"{Message} Enri: I leave this to your capable hands," Madara said simply. Enri did not reply but he knew it took a while to sink in as his soldiers still didn't move.

Then he heard the scuffle of small feet as Carne Village's goblins marched to counter the opposing horde, their number was a little bit higher than 2450. Madara took notice that they were all foot soldier armed with crude steel swords and spears.

"Let's see what strategy you're going to implement," Madara mused as the Carne's goblins marched in imperfect synchronization. "{Message} Black Soldiers: for the duration of the attack, follow every order of Miss. Enri." He did not need a response as the soldiers stiffened, then relaxed visibly.

"Now, let's see how she handles this situation."

Enri

She was undoubtedly nervous at the moment, but the faith Madara placed on her she must not fail. People call it instinct, she knew that Madara was going to view the battle as a test. Why else would he place his men under her?

They were outnumbered by a small margin, possibly two hundred more. I should've used the other horn. Enri thought to herself.

Enri cradled the {Message} scroll with her hands. Right now the only people in the unfinished war room was her, a cold guy named Obito, Lupusregina (who was grinning happily), and Nfirea who was sitting in the corner, watching the upcoming battle through the window.

The two other occupants were silent as they watched the battle through the magic map on the table. "{Message} Carne goblin army: advance in an arrow formation." Nfirea's eyes widened as the goblins organized themselves in an arrow-like formation and slowly advanced. The magic map on the table updated all the troops' movements.

"{Message} Carne Black Soldiers: archers release an arrow barrage. Infantry flank on the right," Enri ordered. A hail of arrows was released from the skilled bowmen of the walls. Obito and Lupusregina stared at the table passively as a number of the enemy goblins were killed. "{Message} Carne Black Soldiers: mages release third-tier spells in the center point, avoid colliding blast areas to get a good area-of-effect. Infantry engage. {Message} Carne goblin army: engage."

Nfirea gaped as dozens of 3rd-tier spells hit the enemy goblins' center point. "T-That's… impossible!" When he turned he was met with a harsh glare from Obito.

"The Black Army is the strongest army in this world. No one or nothing could stand against this. Lord Ainz-" Obito said 'Ainz' with a little distaste "-may have an army nearly equivalent but those are summons, completely disposable. All of Madara-sama's soldiers are equal to a level 30 boss, the best of the best," Obito stated proudly.

Nfirea did notice the use of the phrase "in this world" in the first part but did not comment on it. He wisely kept his mouth shut as he saw Enri concentrate on the map. "The playing field is even… on two fronts, the enemy goblins and ogres will be decimated in a half an hour, if what Madara-sensei said was true about the Black Soldiers." Enri bit her lower lip in frustration.

"Is everything alright?" Lupusregina asked with a slight dog like grin.

"No… well something is bothering me. Why are there so many goblins and ogres? They usually attack with only around with two dozen during raids on villages and travelers," Enri explained. "Adventures too," she added in as an afterthought.

"Recall the forces," Obito ordered.

"{Message} Carne goblin army and Black Soldiers: return back to the village," Enri ordered.

Madara took this time to enter the room. "Congratulations, Enri," he said coolly with his arms folded. "Obito, you are to return to your room, there you will find your next mission." Obito nodded in acceptance and bowed.

"May I inquire how long will this mission take?" Obito asked.

"A month at the least, forever at the most," Madara replied off-handedly. Obito nodded and walked out of the room. "Lupusregina do what you want to. Nfirea exit the room," he ordered. Lupusregina bowed politely before walking diligently out, Nfirea hesitated but ultimately followed suit.

"Now, that's out of the way. Please read this selection of books, they are here for you to learn," Madara stated flatly as he took out a scroll and unsealed the contents. "These are books were made long ago but I have copies so don't sweat if you damage one."

Enri's eyes boggled at the literal hundreds of books on tactics, war, and strategy. "Good luck," Madara said as he walked outside.

Enri was still left speechless as the door closed shut. Nfirea entered a moment later with a confused look plastered on his face.

"What's with all these books?" Nfirea asked in confusion as he picked up a random book from the neatly stacked pile and skimmed through it. His eyes widened as he read the title out loud, "The Art of War by Sun Tzu."

"Madara-sensei ordered me to study these books from his nation, they are to help me with developing tactics and strategies," Enri explained. "He also said that these were really old books but he had copies of them somewhere." She then picked up a book and read the tile out loud, "Icha Icha Paradise: Make Out Tactics?

Obito looked at the orange mask in confusion, Madara wanted him to wear this? Lord Madara said that this was to hide my identity, but why do I have this feeling that he gave me this for his amusement?

A piece of paper was in the box and it read:

Tobi

Duration: 1 month - 5 years

Goal: infiltrate the Adventurer's Guild with Momon and Nabe.

Persona: CODE TOBI

Yes I'm bringing Tobi to this world and I would like him to take up at least half the chapter.

This is my longest chapter I have written and would've gotten further of it weren't for the lack of ideas, and the fact that it covers episodes 2-7 of the anime and chapters 2-6 of the manga.
