Piper Hart had a plan. It was a late Friday morning as she stuffed some dresses into a bag along with her makeup and hair products. She was going to get ready for the party at Jack Swagger's house with Charlotte but first, she had to put her plan into action. In her mind, the plan was called "Operation: Get Tati to Fuck Off and Die of Jealousy" and she knew it was going to work perfectly. Tati was clearly jealous of Charlotte and wanted whatever she had, so why wouldn't she want a romance with a music superstar? It would also lead to some fun humiliation for Henry and that would always be a win in her book.

She just had to put that plan into action now. It was just a little after 11 AM and Piper knew Tati would be outside having her smoke break, so it would be the perfect time to set things in motion. She quickly left her bedroom with her bag in hand and rushed down the stairs, grabbing her jacket and pulling it on. Taking out her phone, she held it up to her ear and cleared her throat before opening the door and stepping outside. As she expected, the guinea pig was on the porch with a cigarette in hand and her eyes on her phone. She didn't bother to speak as Piper appeared but the blonde didn't need her to.

"Yeah, Marla, this party is going to be so much fun," the blonde said to her fake phone call as she closed the door. "It's in LA at this huge mansion and I know there's gonna be celebrities there." While she didn't look up, Piper could see that Tati's hand stopped moving and she tensed up a little. She was definitely listening to her and she had to hold back the need to smile.

"It's gonna be the talk of the town, I know it. EnvyGram is gonna be so lit," she said as she walked past her and walked down the steps. She continued her "conversation" as she walked down to the sidewalk and began her trek to Charlotte's house. Before she did though, she glanced towards the porch and watched as Tati quickly put out her cigarette and ran into the house. She smirked to herself and put her phone away as she skipped along to Charlotte's house. She was such a genius.

Inside, Tati quickly made her way over to Henry and jumped onto the couch beside him. He held back the urge to sigh and simply kept his eyes on the TV, considering ignoring anything she had to say.

"Does your sister know anyone famous?" she asked. Damn, he couldn't ignore that. He raised an eyebrow and shook his head before taking a second to consider it and shrugging.

"Not that I know of, but she's an influencer so she probably does," he answered. "Why?"

"She was on the phone and said something about a party in LA…in a mansion with celebrities…" She stared at him and frowned when he didn't respond or look at her. "We should go."

"What?" He looked at her finally and raised an eyebrow. "Why?"

"Because look at me, I deserve to be seen in a mansion with celebrities instead of wasting away in this house and this stupid town. We're going," she said firmly before getting up from the couch. He watched her in disbelief and chuckled.

"We can't just…go! We don't even know where it is! How do you know this isn't a trap?" Piper wasn't a fan of either of them so he wouldn't put it past her to set them up for some kind of trap. Knowing her, they'd try to go to the party and end up getting pushed into an active volcano. How would she manage to do that? He didn't know but Piper definitely had her ways.

"We just follow her when she leaves for the party tonight, duh!" She rolled her eyes and got up from the couch as Henry let out an exasperated sigh.

"That'll definitely lead to us being taken somewhere and killed," he mumbled.

"Look, we're going to that party," she insisted. She walked over to the mirror and played with her hair idly as she looked over her appearance. "I have this amazing dress that'll be perfect and I'm sure Charlotte will be there. Imagine the look on her face when I show up looking better than her and getting all of the attention? Little bitch is gonna seethe…"

"Yeah, then she'll beat your ass again," he muttered under his breath. She heard him and whipped around to glare at him, storming over and smacking him upside his head, causing him to wince.

"She caught me off guard, okay? I didn't expect the bitch to fucking pimp slap me but trust and believe, next time I see her I'll be ready for her. So get up and get yourself cleaned up and shave off that patchy beard so we can go to that party!" she snapped at him before storming upstairs. Henry slumped against the couch and sighed heavily as he ran his hands over his face. If she was right about Charlotte being there, maybe it would be worth going so he could see her.

Down the street, an excited Piper slipped into the Bolton-Page household. She greeted Miss Bolton before making her way to the second floor so she could see Charlotte. She was happy that her plan was working so far but she was even more excited to get her ready for the party. Anyone with working eyes could see that Charlotte was a gorgeous woman and Henry was a moron, anyone would be more than grateful to have someone like her. Tati wasn't going to go to the party by herself, and Henry would definitely be sick seeing someone all over Charlotte. Especially if that someone was a multimillionaire Grammy award winning musician named Jack Swagger. She could see the hints of jealousy in him during their date in the Man Cave so this would be even better. She skipped up to the door and knocked as she held the bags in the pits of her elbows.

"Char, open up!" she called out and swayed as she waited. But instead of her door opening, the one behind her did and earned her attention. She turned curiously before her face fell at the sight of Jasper leaving the room. Right. He was crashing here. She quickly turned her back to him and ignored him as he sighed.

"Hey…" he greeted her gently. She ignored him as she stared at the door. He pursed his lips a little and looked down as he played with the pack of cigarettes in his hands. "How long are you going to ignore me?" Still no answer from the blonde. He sighed again and leaned back against the wall as he looked at her. She was dressed simply in a matching leisure set and her hair in pigtails. He thought she looked cute.

"I'm sorry," he breathed out. "I was upset about my mom and I took it out on you and that wasn't fair whatsoever. I have no right to do that to you and I was just being a massive dick. And…I didn't want to talk about…that night because I didn't really know what to feel about it. I'm attracted to you and that freaked me out because you're my friend's little sister…or ex-friend or whatever. But Henry doesn't matter, you and I matter. It wasn't just a one-night stand to me, it did mean a lot and I'm sorry your first time had to be ruined because of…my mommy issues. I'm attracted to you and if you're ever willing…I'd like to see where that goes. But anyway." He sighed and lifted himself off of the wall to walk closer to her. "I'm really sorry, Piper. And I miss you." He hesitated for a second before walking away and going downstairs, leaving the blonde alone in the hallway.

Once he was gone, she let out a breath she had been holding in and finally allowed her knees to buckle briefly like they had been dying to. Her heart was beating a mile a minute and her cheeks were hot as she blushed, her teeth clamping down on her bottom lip to fight back a smile. As her body was slowly falling apart, Charlotte's door finally opened gradually until the woman's knowing grin was visible. The young blonde audibly whined and pushed the door open, swatting at her friend.

"I knew you weren't opening the door on purpose!" she whined as she walked inside and dropped the bags. The older woman laughed and closed the door before leaning against it.

"Sorry! I knew he was due for a smoke and I had to take the chance. And look what happened! He apologized and awww, he likes you," she teased.

"Shut up!" she huffed, clearly flustered. She waved her hands before her face to calm herself down. "We're not…we're not talking about Jasper. I'm here to help you get ready for the party tonight." Charlotte sighed and twirled some of her hair around on her finger as she looked down at the floor, thinking something over.

"About that…" she trailed off. The blonde scowled and shook her head quickly.

"No! No, you're not backing out of this party, Char!" she said sternly. The curly haired woman let out a distressed breath as her shoulders deflated.

"I don't feel like getting all dressed up and rubbing elbows with snobby celebrities while Jack barely pays any attention to me! I know you think he's like my fairytale prince or whatever-"

"He is!" Piper insisted. "You didn't see the way his eyes lit up when I mentioned your name at the mall. He's clearly still into you and you need someone to help you get over my loser brother!"

"I'm over Henry!" Charlotte defended herself with her palms held up. "Jack and I broke up because he was too busy for me and I don't want to get my hopes up. I also don't want to use him as some kind of rebound." Truthfully, ever since Piper excitedly told her about her run in with Jack Swagger and the party, she had a ball of anxiety in the pit of her stomach.

Being with Jack was always fun and exciting, as anyone could imagine when it came to dating a celebrity. But it was also different with him because he was just regular old Jack Swaggowitz whenever they were together, he was still the cute dorky boy she knew from summer camp. Their on and off relationship was good enough for her for a while but when she went to Dystopia, she wanted more. She wanted a commitment and someone who could be with her full time but she couldn't get that from someone who was often touring and rubbing elbows with gorgeous famous women. So they both decided to split up amicably and move on. Unfortunately, she moved on to Henry.

Now, how was she supposed to just go to his party and see him? What was she even going to do when she saw him? She figured Piper wanted them to just get together but it wasn't that easy because despite how badly he hurt her and how much he betrayed her trust, she still had feelings for Henry. It wasn't easy to just abandon years and years of love and yearning for someone, no matter how hard she tried. So the idea of going to someone else she had a history with and just moving on was both nerve-wracking and daunting. Piper wasn't going to let her chicken out of this though.

"You're not over him," she countered. "I can see it on your face, you're so not over him. Look, I hate Jana Tetrazzini and her stupid face and her stupid popularity and all that, but sometimes she tells me things that I can agree with. She once told me the best way to get over a man is by getting underneath another one."

"Oh God," Charlotte groaned and walked over to her bed to fall onto it.

"Listen! Jack wants to see you, you need to get out of this house and have fun, and I have some killer dresses that we're gonna look so good in and I want to drive Jasper crazy when he sees me. Char, please," she whined as she shook the older woman. She laughed a little before breathing out heavily and rolling her eyes. Maybe she could just avoid seeing Jack and have some fun at the party. Plus, there was a dress she had borrowed from Tati that she knew she would look amazing in. Smiling a little, she relented.

"Fine! Fine, I'll go but I already have a dress in mind," she said with a half smile. The blonde squealed and clapped as she bounced happily and jumped up from the bed.

"Awesome! This is going to be so much fun," she said with a giggle. She reached into one of the bags and pulled out a satiny black dress, holding it up to her body as she stood before a full-length mirror. "I am gonna look so good in this, Jasper is gonna regret everything." Charlotte propped herself up on her elbow as she watched her friend.

"He already does," she said. The blonde simply hummed in response as she looked over her figure. "This also sounds like you're inviting Jasper to the party. Are you?" Charlotte questioned. She bit down on her bottom lip and hesitated for a moment before she couldn't help but smile brightly.

"I guess so…Fuck! He said he missed me," she swooned. "I have him so sprung." The other burst into laughter as the young woman giggled happily with a huge smile on her face. Charlotte could swear that she saw hearts spinning around the top of her head. Ah, young love.

Hours went by quickly for them as they got ready but slowly for Henry. He had texted Piper for info about the party and found out what the address was and that it had a "sexy casual" dress code, whatever the hell that meant. He wanted to ask if Charlotte would be going but he knew she wouldn't tell him regardless so he just let it go and decided to keep his mind on himself and Tati.

He lay on the couch playing a random game on his phone as he waited for Tati to finish getting dressed. He was already dressed in a pair of white slacks with a matching white blazer, with a burgundy button-down underneath with the top three buttons left undone to reveal some of his chest. He figured that would be "sexy casual" enough, though he didn't really care. He was only going to get Tati off his back and to possibly, hopefully, see Charlotte. At the sound of feet descending the steps, he looked up to see Tati finally making her way down fully dressed.

One thing that Henry couldn't deny about her was that she was absolutely gorgeous and even more so when she was all gussied up. She wore a silky white two piece dress, the skirt and the top connected at the sides but showing hints of her midriff and her lower back. The bottom reached her ankles above her white strappy heels and had a high split up the side. She took the time to straighten her hair again and styled it simply with waves over her shoulder and down her back. She looked great and she knew she did. She checked herself out in the mirror one final time before turning to look at him.

"Let's go," she said. Henry nodded and got up from the couch, slipping his phone into his pocket. He slipped on his shoes and walked over to the door to grab his jacket, grinning a little as he looked her over.

"You look good," he commented. She looked at him and shot him a cocky grin as she pulled on her white fur coat.

"I know I do," she replied. Henry leaned in for a kiss but she quickly backed away. "Don't mess up my makeup." She walked out of the house, leaving a sighing Henry to follow her.

It was about a thirty minute drive from Swellview to LA, and it took about fifteen minutes to find the place the party was being held. But it was hard to miss once he finally found it. He was first greeted by a large pair of steel gates that obscured the house from anyone's outside view. He put the window down and told the speaker who he was and who invited him, wondering if it would work before the gates slowly opened and revealed the lavish home. Tati gasped softly at the sight as Henry drove inside.

"Holy shit," she mumbled. The landscaping was immaculate with large neatly trimmed bushes that lined the driveway and led up to the massive mansion. It was already decorated with Christmas lights and illuminated both inside and out, people were going in and out and music could be heard from outside. It was an impressive place and Henry wondered who owned it and how Piper managed to get an invite in the first place.

Once he found a place to park, he and Tati made their way inside. It seemed to be even larger inside and it was filled with lavish and expensive furniture and decor, worth more than anything Henry could ever afford. He almost instantly felt like a fish out of water as he stood amongst people who were dressed in designer clothes and wore jewelry that was definitely made with real gold and diamonds. He spotted another guy who was dressed similarly to him but his clothes had designer logos embroidered all over them. It seemed tacky, too much, yet he made it work somehow. Henry's clothes were just something he got from the mall, they weren't anything special. He wasn't anything special.

Tati didn't seem to notice and instantly began to blend in with the crowd, getting champagne from one of the waiters passing them around on silver platters. She began to talk to some redhead who was also doused in designer and expensive jewelry. Tati was clearly good at grifting and that wasn't a skill he had. Henry grabbed a glass for himself and sighed to himself as he looked around. He wondered if Piper was already there and how long Tati would make them stay. He already wanted to go home.

Then he spotted her. He wasn't sure it was her at first as she was by the door and they had managed to wander over towards the large double staircase, but the more he stared, the more he recognized her. A large head of curls that were styled into an updo with a gold accessory tucked into them that drew more attention to her. Her makeup was simple save for a burgundy lipstick that made those luscious lips of hers stand out even more. Gold earrings and a gold necklace shined beautifully against her brown skin, but what made Henry's mouth go dry was the dress she wore. That dress.

It was simple, a black silk dress with thin straps and a low square neckline that gave her plenty of cleavage. It hugged her body just right and went past her knees, but her leg was still visible thanks to a dangerously high slit on the left side. And when she turned around, Henry almost fainted. The dress was backless, her smooth back completely visible save for some thin straps that went across it. The back of it only started right above her behind - which looked absolutely amazing if he may add. But everything on her looked amazing.

Charlotte Page was the image of absolute beauty, she was the personification of perfection.

He had no idea how long he had been staring at her but it was clearly long enough, as when she turned around again, their eyes met. Her smile almost instantly fell from her face and she held his gaze for a moment before looking away and walking off with Piper. Henry swallowed thickly and watched her as she walked with his sister, smiling and greeting people she was introduced to and thanking whoever complimented her incredible dress. He watched with laser focus as her hands ran over her hips to show how smooth the fabric was and he wished so badly that he could do that. But he soon came to realize that he wasn't the only one who noticed her.

"Bitch!" Tati exclaimed, stealing his attention from the goddess on the other side of the room. He looked at his girlfriend and noticed that she was now glaring daggers at Charlotte.

"Hmm?"

"That bitch stole my dress! I knew she wasn't crazy enough to destroy it all but to steal my Mirror Palais? That dress was six hundred and fifty dollars by the way! I love that dress, I look so good in it," the brunette ranted. Henry looked at Charlotte again and watched as she, Piper, and Jasper (when the hell did he get there?) walked over to the other staircase before making their way into another room.

"She looks better than you in it," he said absentmindedly. She whipped her head to glare at him with narrowed eyes.

"Excuse me?" she sneered. He barely even heard her as he kept his eye on Charlotte, plotting a way in his head for him to get close to her and talk to (and maybe touch) her.

Meanwhile, Charlotte's skin was practically burning from how much Henry was staring at her. She had to quickly get out of there and head into another room that seemed like the living room just to escape his gaze. Her mind was going back and forth between wanting to kill Piper for not telling her that he would be at this party too and wondering how he even managed to get invited. Even worse, Tati was hanging on his arm like some kind of trophy wife. She stole a couple of glances at them and saw how she was all over him, but also noticed the way her face fell when Henry mumbled something and continued to stare at her. Now, Charlotte wasn't one to laugh at another woman's misfortune, but her ego was definitely stroked and she was a little amused. He may be with you, but he's staring at me.

"Christ, Henry's gonna burn a hole right through you if he stares any longer," Jasper commented as he handed the girls glasses of champagne. Piper grinned knowingly to herself as she took a sip of her drink but Charlotte caught it.

"What did you do?" she asked with a pointed look. "Why didn't you tell me he'd be here?"

"Because then you definitely wouldn't have come! I didn't do anything anyway, that chick overheard me talking about the party and he asked for info. I'm innocent," she said with a smile. The other rolled her eyes and sighed.

"This was a bad idea to begin with and Henry and Tati being here just makes it worse. Jasper, take me home please," she pleaded. Piper protested and followed her as she started to walk away, begging for her to stay and just have fun. But how could she have fun when Henry would be staring her down the entire time? And she knew Tati would try to get back at her for beating her ass, so it would just be better if she left instead of stomping her out in front of a bunch of rich and famous people.

She left the room and entered the entry and stairwell area again, making her way through some people so she could get to the door. Being here was a mistake and she just wanted to go back home and make garlands with her mom. That was easy and simple. There was no Henry at home, no backstabbing best friends, no-

"Char!" Piper called out, causing her to sigh. She turned in her direction and saw her standing in the archway with a knowing gaze before stepping aside to reveal the man behind her. A soft gasp left Charlotte at the sight of him and she felt her heart skip a couple of beats before it began to pound rapidly.

"Jack?" she breathed out.

He seemed just as mystified by the sight of her, his brown eyes sparkling and unable to tear away from her. She looked absolutely breathtaking, even better than the last time he saw her. As she made her way to him, he walked towards her as well to meet her halfway, far too impatient for her to reach him. Unbeknownst to him, Henry Hart still had his eyes on Charlotte and now watched as his gorgeous goddess approached another man until they finally met and embraced each other in a hug. Even though he was across the room from them, he could see Jack's arms snake around her waist and his hands inch dangerously low down her back. As Henry watched, he didn't realize how hard he clutched the champagne glass until its stem snapped in his tight grip.

Tati stared at Henry in confusion as the champagne spilled onto the floor. She could see the tension in his jaw and the rage blooming in his eyes and she wondered just what the hell was promoting this. She followed his gaze and saw Charlotte - in her damn dress - hugged up with…was that Jack Swagger?!

"What the hell?" she muttered as she watched them. She had mentioned knowing Jack Swagger but she just assumed she was lying and trying to seem cool. But she wasn't lying, she really knew him. A small scowl appeared on the brunette's face at the thought of that.

The damn bitch won again.
