Adley watched as their speaker pulled up their first witness after presenting the evidence to the council. A wave of their hands had copies being sent to each of them. First up, Felix. She sat up slightly taller listening intently to what was about to be said. He sat in the box right below the council. He towered over most on a normal day, now even more so. His dark hair was styled back, and he wore a normal suit. He waited, red eyes intently watching their lawyer.

"Please state your name for the court,"

"Felix Volturi, member of the elite guard for the Volturi." He replied.

"Hold out your left hand."

He did as he was instructed. A warlock came forth with a simple black ribbon, it was wrapped twice around Felix's hand. She zeroed in on his calm aura, a golden glow began to radiate from him.

"This is a charmed ribbon that will have the wearer speaking the truth."

"Please tell the court your height."

"Two point three meters."

"In feet?"

"Six foot eight."

"Felix was measured before entering the room, this answer is correct." One Warlock read off.

"Felix, you were present in the battle in which occurred back in June. Where you were requested to take part in destroying all the newborns. Please tell the council and court what occurred that day." Their lawyer asked.

"I was present at the time, as ordered by Master Marcus and Master Aro. We had been tracking the newborn army for some time. It had been paramount to do so, if left unchecked they would have exposed the vampire world. So, we deployed force as required. There were not just newborns present in the army. There was an Original Vampire in their midst. Suspected by Master Marcus who has more experience with the creatures. It was confirmed when we saw it. He was on a chain that was thick, controlling a vampire with any metal is impossible. The thing was magicked."

He paused.

"Please continue,"

"I was one of the guards to destroy the thing. The beast was stronger than any newborn or vampire I had encountered. There were no words of modern language coming from the thing. He was wild as he had been many millennia ago upon creation. The first to try and take it down was Rosalie Cullen. She did not think it through, ending in her injury as well as mine when I stepped in to protect her. The less liabilities to allies the better. We were able to subdue the thing from continuing with one of our guard's abilities."

"The chain upon the beast, how did it come off?"

Felix paused once more, face pinching. "I did not see from what was said the newborn holding it dropped it after a bit."

"In your experience no human or mundane object can hold a vampire."

"Not without great effort, or interference of magic. I have been alive for nearly twelve hundred years. I have not come across something able to hold vampires, beyond some of experimental contraptions of Master Caius."

"Thank you," their lawyer turned to the other side. "No further questions."

Adley watched the warlock step up with an air of confidence to Felix. Amusing to watch the much smaller man try and intimidate the guard.

"You said something about this Master Caius, with experimental contraptions. Can you elaborate on what those were?" He pressed.

Felix frowned.

"Objection, relevance."

"Defense, relevance?" Ms. Blackburn questioned.

"I was about to say your honors,"

"Continue with caution." She allowed. "State the relevance."

"The Volturi question Mr. Aster with creating contraptions to hold vampires and the illegal status of such. The point is exposing they have done the same?"

A murmur passed through the council seated. Their expressions misting over, and a magical glow surrounded them. It was moments later the glow stopped and the council was normal. Adley blinked a few times.

"Witness will answer."

"Master Caius over a thousand years ago was working with Witches in Italy about contraptions that could possibly contain a vampire. The metals and shackles even bars each broke in the attempts. These experiments were what set the basis for the laws. When the spells were made of what could be used to contain vampires, they were made illegal. Research is not law breaking."

"Would you not consider these contraptions hypocritical?"

"No because at the time there was no law. These units have been destroyed or placed where no one will find them. Knowledge of the creations are written in the archives here managed by our guard and scholars. The laws now stand. Mr. Aster clearly ignored the Accords and Laws. He had the intent to use the magic against vampires and desire to expose us." Felix snapped at last.

"Nothing further."

Adley watched as the ribbon was taken off. Felix stood his aura back to full force. She watched as it flickered with shame and embarrassment. He held indifferent as he excused himself from the court room. She looked to Aro offering her hand.

'They play dirty,'

He pulled a paper from his notes, writing quickly. He slid it slightly to her sight.

'Indeed, we all do. One down more to go.'

Adley cracked a grin but quickly composed it. She watched as Rosalie Cullen was called to the stand. The blonde was beautiful, a few eyes followed her. Auras filling with desire for the woman. Her golden eyes darted across the room. She had momentarily forgotten the Cullens would be present here.

She turned to look behind. There a few Cullens sat. She noticed Bella a few rows back, a frown on her face. She turned immediately as the court was recalled to attention.

Her vision blurred.

What in the world? Adley blinked trying to clear her vision. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Her heart increased. She tried to move her hands. Nothing. What was this…

'You were supposed to have this withdrawn.'

The voice. Hartford.

'Get out of my head.'

'Not until you heed this warning.'

'I already heard you the first time. I told you they would not listen.'

'Make them understand.'

Her vision clouded. Images flew passed her, her head spinning. No longer was she in the court room.

People bustled by in the crowded street. Muffled voices of people. The sun above and breeze around her.

"Come on Addie!"

That voice. Ice washed through her veins. She turned looking to her left. The familiar smile causing dimples in cheeks. Hair braided. Those bright amber eyes.

"Naomi…" She choked.

Her friend paused. Curses of people filtered from around her as they almost hit her. Adley didn't care. Tears whelmed in her eyes the longer she looked.

"What's gotten into you? Come on, hurry up Addie. We've only got so many hours here. It's New York baby," she laughed.

The tears spilt down her cheeks. Pain flipping through her, clenching at her chest. "No –don't go that way. It's not safe."

"It's only the business sector."

"The planes."

Naomi stared. "What?"

Adley didn't have time to respond. She blinked. The world switched. Pressure, all around her. she gasped.

There, cement crushed down. She couldn't see much, light slipped through the tiniest of cracks. Metal was crinkled around her. Glass was imbedded in her skin. The sharp jagged edges pierced her sides, her back, hands, and legs. Adley tried to move. It was useless. She moved her head.

There, open amber eyes, no longer seeing. Blood and dust and dirt covered her face. Her body was crushed from what she could make out. Adley barely registered the limbs that were, cooling holding onto her left arm. Fingers relaxed from the tight grip. The bruises that would form a last memory of Naomi.

'Stop. Please."

She pleaded closing her eyes. It didn't do anything. Images flooded back to her. The look of happiness over Naomi's face as she'd experienced the city. She loved New York. The bustling people. She'd been so excited.

"I can't wait…"

Naomi's words filtered through. She was so excited for this trip. They had planned like crazy for the month before hand.

Images replayed the crashing objects. The spike that impaled her. the crunching and splattering she heard. Cries that went unanswered for hours. The world had stilled. She went in and out of consciousness. She lost her voice.

Screaming and screaming until her voice went hoarse.

'Tell them to pull out.'

'They will not listen to me.'

She mentally screamed.

'Then live with your pain.'

She screamed louder. Nothing prepared her to watch the towers come down again and again. She cried. Her cheeks raw and pained. The same pain constantly coming.

Moments flashed, the plane ride. The hospital stay. Ringing in her ear muffling out the words coming from those around her. Her parents.

She was in Seattle airport. A weight was on her shoulder. All around her many people were hesitant ignoring her. She carefully met up with her waiting parents. Oma and Appa stood clutching to each other, red rimmed eyes greeted her on her Oma's face. Behind her Aunt Janet stood.

Adley's heart sunk. She tried to open her mouth to cry. The pain ripping at her chest she wanted to claw it out. The throbbing pain, a lead balloon in her stomach. The headache in her head.

She looked to the left. There the familiar face of Mr. Lam, he was still in his uniform from the fire house. His dark eyes hard deep bags under them. His lips taking on the permanent frown she'd remembered. He stared off seeing through her. Arms wrapped around her, squishing her into a soft woman.

Mrs. Brenda Lam, grey eyes surrounded by red puffy skin, her face was raw looking, from dried tears. She wrapped her arms around her.

"I'm so sorry… I'm sorry…"

"It's not your fault…"

Another blur.

She was in Evergreen Washelli Columbarium. The ground recently patted down, rain falling around her. Many headstones surrounding the plots. Flowers placed on the grave before her. In dark shining headstone the coldest words she had ever read.

Naomi Darlene Lam September 11th 1982- September 11th 2001.

Beloved daughter, Forever remembered and loved.

In black, grey, and white her senior school photo was printed. Adley and her had had those done the same day seven months prior. She placed a hand to her mouth as she fell to the ground.

"I'm so sorry,"

'Why didn't you save me?"

Ice washed over her. She turned. She stared.

"Naomi?"

"Why didn't you save me?" Naomi demanded.

Her eyes flashed anger boiling in her. Arms crossed she stepped closer to Adley.

"You left me to die! It was my birthday! I was to go to university. Be something. You could have saved me."

"Naomi, I'm sorry. There was nothing I could do." Adley cried.

A sob ripped from her. Tears blurring her vision.

"You should be here with me."

"I know I should."

"We died. I died. Yet here you are!" Naomi screamed. "My death is your fault, you could have stopped me. Why didn't you try harder."

Adley covered her ears as Naomi got louder stepping close and closer.

"You don't even visit me now. You were my best friend Adley. Don't you love me anymore? You don't even see my parents or my sister. You don't care any more about Jenna? I thought we were friends. Does she even know you any more? You don't even bring flowers here. You're guilty. You could have done more!"

"I'm sorry Naomi… I should've come more often."

"You would've but you're too busy living life. One we both could have been doing."

Naomi snarled slapping Adley's cheek. No pain sheered from her cheek

"This isn't real."

She cried.

'Make it stop. This isn't real.'

Blood rushing in her ears ringing, Naomi's screams got louder and louder. She curled into a ball. No. No. No. It's not real….

She tried to remind herself. Eyes clenched shut did nothing she stuffed her face into the dirt.

A deep laughter surrounded her.

'Do you take me seriously now?'

'Yes, you win. Please… stop…'

Cold. She blinked a few times. The court and council came back into view. Adley focused in seeing Rosalie Cullen was still on the stand. The brown wooden walls behind everyone was still there, the clock barely ticked by.

She took a shaky inhale. The grip on her hands gave two squeezes. A tear streamed down her face. Her body was fine. Heart pounding in her chest, as she took deep breaths silently trying to relax the organ from exploding. The fluttering in her stomach reminding her she needed to relax.

'I need to be excused… Please…'

"Slide passed Marcus the council is aware of your condition." Aro whispered, low enough for her to catch.

Adley carefully stood and slid out past him. She did her best for her hands to still them. She passed Marcus, running her fingers over his back as she left the room. She was allowed passed the Witch protecting the doors. She exhaled once she was back out in the hall.

Echoing voices off in the building poured over her. She looked across the hall seeing the familiar stick figure in the dress. She hurried in and locked herself in a stall. She relieved herself quickly.

On shaky legs she quickly flushed and made her way to the sink. She scrubbed her hands. No bruise was on her wrist. No glass was imbedded in her skin. The dust and dirt no longer clung to her skin from sweat and blood. She only bore a scar on her back and side from the spike. Naomi had long passed.

She met her own gaze, her face paled. She wasn't nineteen any more. She wiped the tear from her eye.

That bastard had slipped into her head. She fixed her side bangs. He had gone into her past and dug up the shadows she didn't wish to see. The memories that caused her nightmares for so long. To this day Naomi's face would haunt her dreams. Rare as it was.

"Are you alright, Adley?"

She turned to look at who had entered. In lavender blouse and jean capris with caramel curls around her, Esme Cullen stood. Her eyes wide with concern, the same that seeped into her bright aura. Adley relaxed.

"I will be," she responded.

Her words cracking. The woman stepped over to her. "What happened?"

"I was mentally attacked…" she blurted. "yesterday, one of Gideon's siblings threatened me in the compound outside Olympia. He's in the courtroom. He entered my mind…"

"Oh sweetheart," Esme murmured.

Cool arms wrapped around her pulling her in for a hug. Adley buried her face into the crook of the woman's neck. She was a few inches taller than she was. Esme soothed her growing sobs. The flood gates broke, and the sorrow washed free. Tears spilt down her face.

"What he did is not real…"

"It was though." She cried. "Those planes, they killed her. The towers squished us."

Esme did not comment on what she said. "It was years ago. He cannot physically harm you. He will not get to you Adley…"

"He doesn't need to he can get in my head. Esme, he threatened my babies."

"We will make sure he doesn't come near you." She vowed.

Adley saw her commitment and sincerity swarm her from Esme's aura. A protective surge filled the woman.

"I will personally sink my teeth into him."

Adley chuckled. "Your diet."

"A willing sacrifice."

A few moments passed as Adley cried it out. The tears eventually stopped as she calmed herself. She pulled back as Esme handed her a Kleenex.

"How can you be so nice to me, when I made your children's life so hard?" She asked wiping the tears.

"I love my children to death." Esme began. "What Edward did to Bella, what we all did, was unacceptable. You were right to be angry with us. I cannot hold your words against you. What you did was the kindest thing that could have occurred. The Volturi could have killed them in Italy. I do not wish to lose my children. I certainly do not wish to see you lose yours."

She cupped Adley's cheek smiling. "Thank you,"

"I will stand by my promise. You helped us when we needed you. We are here to help and protect you. You did so much for us, it is the least we could do."

"I am still wary of Edward, but I promise to be nicer." Adley replied. "Thank you, seriously for coming to find me. I didn't realize anyone was aware of me leaving."

"I've always had a tendency to be more inclined to when someone needs help. You looked like you needed someone."

Adley nodded taking a shaky breath. "I did. Thank you."

"Do you think you can handle going into that room again?"

Esme searched her face. Adley's gut dropped at the idea. She didn't want him in her head. Not again, not today. Adley shook her head.

"Aro was holding my hand during that. I'm sure he'll explain to Marcus why I left."

"Come let's get you a tea in the meantime there is a Starbucks down the road and the trial will be a few more hours." Esme offered.

Adley agreed following her out of the washroom. Esme opened the door allowing her through. She searched the hall both sides stepping out. Her hands falling to her stomach. Ibrahim was at the left side of the hall waiting for her. She met his bright red gaze. She relaxed further nodding to him. He said nothing but returned the gesture. Adley headed by him with Esme behind her, she quickly fell in step beside her.

Ibrahim followed the two women disappearing in the process.

"How have you been handling all of this?" Esme asked as they entered the street.

The weather overcast thankfully allowing Esme to follow beside her. She was about to mention how the woman knew of the weather enough to offer leaving the courthouse but remembered Alice.

Adley looked over to her. "Specifically?"

"If you would like,"

"Well," she looked around the few people passing. "That back there is throwing me through a loop of what reality really is. I mean Marcus being what he is and others like him, it was one thing. It's been a process. I don't even know what I am and why I am like this… then there is the fact I'm pregnant."

Adley rubbed her growing stomach. A spark of joy filled Esme's aura.

"I'd heard from Alice and Edward you were expecting. Congratulations are in order. Sorrow tinted the words.

"I know female vampires cannot house babies. Infertility sucks." She made sure to whisper her sentence knowing Esme heard her.

"It's a process I've come to terms with. I've been like this for a long time. Biology isn't everything." Esme shrugged. "My children satisfy my wish for children and family. I work with younger kids if I am particular melancholy about babies. Fostering even now and then terminally ill children or those with poor outcomes."

"A very noble notion. You are so loving, it's around you constantly. The care you feel for everyone." Adley mentioned.

"I've been told," she chuckled. "My son Jasper he's an Empath as well. He always said it was like his mother was there the moment he met me."

"You remind me of my Oma, same sense of unconditional love."

"Carlisle has a theory some of our previous traits that were our strongest were amplified in the change." Esme chose her words carefully as they entered the cafe.

Adley ordered an earl grey tea latte. Esme ordered a small one for herself. She paid before Adley had the chance to pull her cards out. They stepped over to the side to await the drinks.

"I was always a maternal being, despite my history. I cared much for just about everyone."

"Qualities of such selfless nature it's almost a miracle. I am glad for you regardless though. I don't think I could handle more of that. I know this is only day one, there are at least two or three more days next week to meet again."

Adley took her drink, she added some cinnamon before sliding a lid onto the drink. They headed over to the far side of the cafe where no one was paying them much mind. A few on laptops around them were plugged into head phones.

"It's so much at times. It just came on so fast. If it's not one thing it is another. Is it so much to ask just for a lull?"

"When you're with someone as important as Marcus I do not think it ever will be. There is usually so much going on from the letters Carlisle and Aro exchange." Esme replied. "I read them with him now and then."

"I can see why Sulpicia and Athenadora sit out of the main trials. It seems so much. I don't know if it's the fact I am twenty four with little experience talking but it feels like I am in an ocean in there."

"I am nearly a century and a bit in age. I wasn't fully understanding what was going on in there." Esme assured her. "I have three doctorates and nothing is as dizzying as legal proceedings. Tedious as well."

"I know right? I'm happy I can use these two as an excuse for a bit."

"You have not experienced any issues as of yet with the pregnancy?"

"It has been surprisingly normal. Despite the two weeks they grow in one. It is three weeks soon I can tell the genders."

"Exciting news and time. Enjoy the modern accommodations. Ultrasounds were not a thing for mine. We relied heavily on superstitions."

"You didn't pee on a frog did you?" Adley questioned. She finished off her drink.

Esme was quick to switch the two drinks. "That was after my time by a few decades. The things we did and called it science."

"I am excited to see what the future holds as much as I worry for it."

"You get used to it, immortality." Esme whispered the last word.

"I hope so."

Esme and Adley walked back to the court room the moment her phone began ringing and Marcus summoned her back. She tossed out her cup and the bag she got for a muffin later in their time in the Starbucks. They spoke a bit of Esme's life and a few parenting tips she had for Adley. She was more than appreciative of the distraction.

Adley spotted Marcus speaking with a group of people in the lobby of the court house. He was one of the few towering over the group. The Cullen family beside them listening in intently. She took a few calming breaths trying to keep the fear that threatened to have her guts spilling all over the marble tiles around them.

They stopped once in the group. She hugged Esme before making her way to Marcus' side. She immediately wrapped her arms around his waist leaning into his chest. He did not protest or question why she was nuzzling her face into his side breathing in his scent.

"Alright, thank you Oscar. We will be here on Monday." Aro confirmed.

She peaked from her spot at the group that left with a polite bow to Aro and Marcus. They left the group alone. The Cullens stood still with them.

"How did the trial go?" Adley questioned.

"We are pausing for today we got through half of our witnesses. They spent so much time questioning our one witness." Aro answered with a sigh. "We will have Cassandra's statement and memories shown on Monday."

"Alright," she exhaled.

"You will be remaining home." Marcus added.

She pushed back brows furrowed. "What? I should be here with you."

"You were attacked again." He retorted.

"Mere threats."

"He practically tortured you in the middle of the court room." Aro stepped in. "We will discuss this at a later time. Marcus take your mate to the cabin. We can discuss this when the emotions are not so fresh. Go calm your mate."

His order was brisk and light. Marcus' jaw tightened at the mention. Adley clamped down her urge to roll her eyes. She would be fine.

She would be. Her heart hammered when a few voices echoed off the walls as a group passed theirs. Ice down her spine. Hartford Aster's voice was loud. She peered up at him as he passed with his brother's lawyer. She turned immediately into Marcus' chest.

"I want to leave." She sniffed.

Heart stumbled a few times in her chest before picking up. Sweat prickled on her neck and hands. She clenched the material of his suit jacket. His arm came around her.

"Yes love,"

They arrived home after dinner being Subway, she didn't feel like anything else. Adley exited the car in front of Marcus, she had her blazer folded over her arm as she headed into the cabin. She kicked off her heels placing her jacket on a hanger turning to Marcus. He eyed her from a distance. He slid off his own blazer hanging it up with his vest.

She watched him fold his sleeves up passed his elbows as he came to stand before her. His finger hooked her chin moving her gaze to him.

"Are you alright?" He asked, his breath washed over her.

He smelt familiar, she relaxed her shoulders pushing a small smile. It didn't feel it though. The day was already wearing her down.

"Are you up to discussing this right now?" He questioned.

She really didn't want to. The more she stared at Marcus the more she only wanted to curl up in his lap and stay there. She shook her head.

He caressed her cheek with his thumb, he stood up pulling away. "Come, I will put a movie on and we can relax."

She caught hold of his tie. The fabric would easily break if he did not want to stop. He did pause only a foot away from her.

"I want to be distracted right now," she declared.

His brows furrowed as he watched her. "I can put—"

She shook her head.

"I don't want a movie."

"What would you like?"

His concern and worry making an appearance into his aura.

"I want you to fuck me until I see the gods."

A rumble echoed through his chest with his groan. He lifted her up closing the distance between them. His arms under her behind holding her with ease. She hooked her legs around his waist. He leant forward pressing his lips to hers. She cupped his cheeks taking control of the kiss.

Her tongue swiped over his bottom lip seeking entrance. There was no hesitancy on his end. He supported her pulling her flush against him as close as he could. Her tongue caught up in the kiss swirling around his teasing him. He followed her movements. She pulled back enough breaking the kiss.

He took quick breaths he didn't need leaning his forehead upon hers. She looked up from under heavy lids, a smile on her face. His pupils blown wide causing his eyes to become a dark onyx instead of the usual merlot red. Her cheeks tinted red, taking in the aura fluttering around her. Lust and desire washed over her.

"Temptress, you taint me. Calling me to jump into the pits of Tartarus willingly."

"Worth it," she exhaled.

He groaned again. She pressed a closed mouth kiss to his lips, pulling back before doing it again. Before he could capture her lips to deepen the kiss she began to trail open mouth kisses down from the corner of his lips to his jaw. She headed down towards his neck. The cool skin flexed while he let his head move to the side allowing her access.

"Are you sure you are up to this little one?"

"I love you, I appreciate your concern and you are looking for consent… right now I want you to take me to the bedroom and fuck me like you mean it. Make me forget the entire English language."

The room blurred she barely caught the change of the room, when she found herself set down on the bed. She made quick work to untie her wrap dress. She reached back unhooking her bra in one go.

Marcus blurred once more disappearing momentarily. She paused.

"Do you consent to this?" She hesitated.

He returned in no time. A black satin looking scarf. She quirked her brow.

"You would like to forget today?"

"Yes,"

"Colour system then little one, are you aware of this?"

"Green go, Yellow proceed with caution, red stop."

"Good girl," he leant down pressing a kiss to her lips.

His desire flowed over her with building waves. She pressed her thighs together trying to get some friction.

"Enough of that." He ordered.

Adley paused her heart rate increasing. She licked her lips while he came forward to wrap it behind her head covering her eyes. He tightened it enough to secure it but not so it hurt. He lifted her hair out of the tie allowing it to flow around her.

He ran his thumb over her mouth.

"Trust me my dear, I am going to lift you and lay you the correct way on the bed."

He instructed. Her stomach fluttered. She bit her bottom lip, heat pouring over her cheeks spreading to her neck and chest. Her nipples already hard at being out in the cool room, the AC was working alright. His cool fingers traced the shape of her breasts.

She shuddered, a soft sigh escaping her.

"Patience Little one,"

"You are taking your sweet time," she huffed feigning insult.

Her legs were lifted up towards her chest, she squealed as his hand made contact. The sound more shocking than any of the sting from her bottom.

"You are in a bratty mood, I wish to bring you only pleasure. This is your final warning Little one, keep the snark and you will find I can give punishment as well as I do pleasure." His voice low, not raised.

She shuddered biting her cheek of further comments. "Yes sir,"

She whispered knowing he heard her just fine. He took her left hand, he pulled it away from her body. She felt something soft being tied around her wrist. She gave a slight pull. He had secured it. Her right hand was next.

"Are you alright?"

"Green,"

"Good girl," he murmured before kissing her.

He pulled back too fast for her to enjoy the kiss. She kept her tongue in check as he took her feet. The same material slithered over her legs. He trailed it up her calves, to her thighs, he guided her legs apart. She bucked at the material guiding over her sensitive core. She heard his light chuckle.

"Patience,"

She couldn't do anything to dull the growing ache from between her legs. The touch had sent a spark deep into her middle. She needed something. She took three deep breaths, trying to calm herself.

Cool fingers tweaked her nipples.

"ah!"

She cried, pulling on her restraints.

He did it again. She moaned.

His fingers teased her. Both hands he used to gently cup her breasts, holding them in his hands. The increased sensitivity was doing nothing to help her situation. She shuddered, he was enjoying this. She was slowly too loving how he ghosted his finger tips over her sides, running them over her spread arms down her sides and over her curves. He traced pathways over her bump in her abdomen. The fingers skirted her centre, where the throbbing was growing.

His hands pressed firmer into her thighs, he messaged the taught muscles of her thighs. She sighed. His hands roaming down to her calves teasing her. He let go pulling away. She didn't hear him. The issue with vampires. They moved too fast for sound or other senses, unless they wanted you to notice them.

His hands came to her sides. He trailed over her abdomen, down to her centre. He skirted her pubic mound, where she'd left to grow. His fingers ran directly through her soaking folds. She sharply inhaled, his fingers pressed gently into her clit. She bucked.

"You're quite eager little one, so wet."

His fingers ran from her behind to her mound. He directly missed her clit. She huffed jerking as he teased her opening. In time he carefully probed her entrance. She shuddered the cool skin on her increasing in heat folds. She took a shaky breath, his thumb began to circle her clit. His ministrations were slow, moving over and around the sensitive nub.

"Marcus, please… I need you."

"In time little one, colour?"

"Green, flashing green." She replied.

She heard his chuckle the bed dipped between her legs. His fingers pushed into her, stretching her he scissored them, stretching her further.

She moaned.

The cool tip of his tongue swirled around her clit. It was an assault attack. He began flicking her clit increasing the speed.

"Ah!"

She shuddered pulling on the restraints. Her hands clenched into fists. Pleasure poured over her. The motions began to driver her higher and higher. It didn't take him to long of pressing his fingers in and out of her to push her over the edge.

She gasped, soft cries growing louder and louder. He didn't give in.

He continued to stimulate her tongue only increasing in speed.

"Marcus!"

He pushed her over the edge. A second time. A third time.

Her legs began shuddering as he pushed her over the fourth time. Her body felt like jelly. She was in an ocean, sensitive to the touch. She took shallow breaths. Her heart racing, the pleasure rolled over her in lapping waves.

The coil in her gut, even though shed orgasmed four times there was a burn. In her belly. He needed release.

"Marcus," she breathed. "Fuck me."

"Gladly, little one. How beautiful you are in the throes of pleasure. You rival the goddesses on Olympus."

She heard some ripping, her feet she realized were moving when Marcus lifted her legs to come around his hips.

He pressed the tip of his cock to her entrance. She shuddered, body shaking. He ran the tip slowly over her soaking core, gathering the moisture before he pressed in. He pushed sheathing himself fully in her.

Her head falling back. "Ah…"

He gave her a moment to adjust to the stretching, she was surprised at each time they'd been together he'd not permanently altered her passage. He pulled out until only his tip remained. He pushed fully in.

She groaned, he hit all the right spots as he found the rhythm. Her core sensitive, he picked up in speed. In and out. Each time he hit just right. Her body began the climb towards another orgasm, he spun her tighter and tighter. His desire crashing over her like an incoming tied.

"That's it little one, do you think you can come again?" He asked before he kissed down her neck.

He sucked her skin into his mouth. His teeth grazing the skin. She shivered. He pressed in and out. He was getting faster and faster. His hips slapping into hers. His moans vibrating against her neck as he held tight snapping upwards.

"If you do,"

Teeth sunk into her neck.

White flashed before her eyes, he rolled his hips into her once. twice. A final time. Cool seed spilling in her.

She exhaled shakily. She succumbed to the growing heaviness to her eyes.

"What time is it?" Adley questioned, opening her eyes.

She was no longer tied to the bed. She was laid on her side, Marcus spooning her, the covers between them. She turned slightly. He was propped up on his side watching her. He was in a pair of boxers and a grey shirt. His brown hair pulled back in a bun.

"Just after ten, you slept only for a few moments."

"Oh… I should probably wash up."

"You can shower in the morning love, it is best you rest. You have been through quite a bit."

"I don't want to sleep yet. I am not tired." She protested stifling a yawn.

"You are barely keeping the yawns out of your words." He mused, running a hand over her arms. "It has been a long day."

"I'm not tired."

"You are,"

A light chuckle in his words.

"I'll be fine, let's watch a movie." She turned to face him.

He tilted his head. "why do you protest so much?"

"I don't want to face the darkness in my mind yet…"

Recognition sparked in his aura, she blinked a few times.

"I will be here to protect you from anyone love."

"You can't protect me from my memories." She snipped sitting up, she wrapped her arms around her legs.

Tears began to prickle in her eyes, stinging, she rubbed at them. It seemed futile in her building shallow breaths. Each time she tried to cover it another shaky cry began to build.

"What did he do little one?"

Marcus pulled her to him, lifting her into his lap, he pulled her to lay her head on his chest. He ran a hand over her long waves. He began stroking a circuit over her back soothing her.

"He showed me my memories. Over and over… it was so real…" she whimpered.

"Your friend?"

"I should have done more…" She croaked. "He kept showing her die over and over. Making it seem there was an option to warn her. Marcus, her face I fought so hard to get her out of my mind. To be at peace with her death. He took that and ripped it."

Tears trickled down her cheeks.

"Oh little one, it is in the past."

"I should have tried harder… to save her. I did nothing." Adley buried her face into his chest. Heart clenching in her chest, pain shooting through her. "I haven't been to see her parents in five years. I don't even bring flowers to her grave Marcus I didn't go to her year anniversary. I am such a terrible friend."

"No you aren't," He assured her. "You were traumatized Adley, you lost your best friend. You keep her in her heart. No matter where her grave is, she is in your heart."

Adley shook her head pushing back, she rubbed the tears from her eyes. "I could've went and seen Jenna her sister. I pushed them all away. I just felt so terrible. They should have had their sister. I didn't want to face the questions of why me and not her… I couldn't face to look at Jenna, she looked so much like Naomi."

"If you would like, you could always try and visit her," Marcus suggested.

She sniffed, "It's been five years Marcus. After a year of ignoring her calls I am sure she's given up on me. She probably hates me."

"I am sure she does not hate you. You are too loveable Little one," he murmured kissing her forehead. "In the morning why don't we try and connect with this Jenna? We can visit her grave. He is only able to use this to hurt you, as long as you let it little one. Let me tell you a story and I will help keep the nightmares away."

"Okay," Adley went to stand. "I still need to brush my teeth."
