She slowly awoke from a very pleasant dream — one with Fitz in it. Good thing she got to wake up to him, too. That made it even better.

And right from the moment she woke up, she had the desire to make things extra pleasant.

They were both still naked from the night before. Their activities had lasted well into the night. Every once in awhile, they'd have those kinds of nights. The nights where they decided they needed to do some extra making up for the fact they couldn't see each other every day. The nights that were spent hot and sweaty, often quiet whenever Karen was in the house, and followed by whispers to each other. Whispers of "I love you" and future dreams, that would eventually lull their exhausted, bare bodies to sleep.

It had been one of those last night and she woke up still in that mood. A…giving mood.

She started trailing kisses down his muscular chest, which didn't wake him up. He had moved not too long ago, so she knew he was close to waking. She just sped things along a tiny bit.

When she was completely under the covers, faced with his semi-hard dick, she could only smile. Smile, and start kissing his lower abdomen. She kissed his scar, as she often did, making her way dangerously close until she pressed a gentle, wet one against his perfect tip.

That one woke up him.

She put her mouth around him as he stirred, and the pleasured moans immediately escaped his lips.

He lifted the covers and took a sleepy look at her as she gave him a very wet, slow blowjob.

"Good morning, honey," she whispered, in between long bobs of her head.

"Morning…baby. Oh —" he moaned, pulling the covers up over his face too. As if that would help mask his already quiet sounds.

He watched her mouth leave behind wet streaks on his now rigid erection, and he sighed contently.

He wasn't tired anymore. What an amazing way to wake up.

Her mouth went lower to his balls, and then back up again. She used her hand too, but made sure not to get him there too quickly. She dragged it out a bit.

"Fuck —," he whispered, his muscles shaking. "Oh — Liv —"

She maintained that steady pace until she could feel his fingers shaking as he held her face softly. And then he came, and she tasted it all.

"Mm," she murmured, not removing her mouth from him yet.

He was panting now — heavily, but quietly.

"Oh…Jesus," he whispered, looking down at her.

"I was hoping for that reaction, rather than annoyance that I woke you up," she giggled, rubbing his thigh.

He chuckled. "Um…you know you can do that whenever you want. I mean…whenever. Wake me up from a deep fucking sleep for that, I don't care."

Now she laughed harder. "Yeah, you're right. I know you, Fitzgerald."

"Clearly," he said, looking down at her.

"Good morning. Properly this time," she smiled.

"Good morning. I think your first attempt was…perfectly proper. In my book, at least," he shrugged, pulling her up toward his face.

"Good. Nothing like a blowjob to start the day," Olivia said, pecking his lips.

He burst into laughter, squeezing her in a hug. "Put that on a shirt."

"I should, shouldn't I?" she giggled, propping her chin up on her palm.

"You should. You've got such a way with words, Liv."

"Thank you, I really try," she replied.

"Well, I agree with your statement. And we will continue what you've so wonderfully started…later today. Because…I have to admit, I'm still really tired from last night."

"That's okay. So am I," she admitted. "We're probably going to have to go to sleep early tonight to make up for all that."

"We might have to," he chuckled. "As long as I've had time to…take you out before we go to bed."

"Oh?" Olivia smiled happily.

"Uh-huh. Karen's going to Casey's for a sleepover later today, so…it's a perfect opportunity for a date, just the two of us."

"Oh, baby, I would love that," she said with a smile.

"I knew you would," he whispered, cupping her face gently.

"Where are you taking me?"

"I haven't decided yet, but somewhere new that we haven't been," he nodded.

"Surprise me," she whispered, pecking his lips.

He smiled. "I can do that."

"Mmm, I'm excited."

"Me too," he smiled. "Are you hungry?"

She laughed. "Yes. I worked up an appetite."

He smiled back, his cheeks turning red. "God, you certainly did. I should have seen that answer coming."

"I do have a way with words," Olivia shrugged.

"Yes, you do. You have a way with…your mouth, too," he added.

She smirked, planting a wet kiss on his lips. "Glad you think so."

He kissed her back, before slowly starting to get up. "Alright. Come on, you. I'll make breakfast."

They both ventured down to the kitchen after getting ready for their morning. Karen didn't join them until almost 9:00 when she woke up. They warmed a plate up for her and she was happy to join them.

They all spent time together until Fitz drove Karen over to Casey's later that afternoon. Olivia made sure to give Karen some eyeliner tips and tricks before she left, as promised. Karen was very grateful.

While Fitz drove Karen, Olivia took some time to work on her computer. Her classes were busy these days, but she was always diligent with her classwork — even if she was spending the weekend at Fitz's.

So that afternoon, she did some work and so did Fitz, while he watched his show. Yellowstone was what he was fixated on currently.

She was pretty indifferent to the show — she'd actually never seen a single full episode before, just a few random scenes here and there. She was happy just to be with him, so she didn't care too much.

However, listening to the show in the background did allow her to understand why it was so popular. It seemed like an intriguing show. One that dealt with some real-world issues, and also the sometimes harsh realities of ranching.

She did happen to look up a couple times, though, and when she did, there was one guy that caught her eye. Some gruff, badass-looking cowboy. He had really dark brown hair underneath his hat, and he was decently tall and muscular. He wore ranching attire — boots, jeans, a big belt, a jacket, and a hat. He had sunglasses on, and kept a toothpick in his mouth most of the time, and the way he carried himself led Olivia to believe he was the leader — because he sure acted and was treated like the boss.

Olivia's eyes widened as she watched him give directions to the other cowboys, swear at one of them named Jimmy, and then get up on his horse.

"Who is that?" Olivia asked, turning to Fitz.

Fitz looked over at her, surprised that she had been paying attention now.

"Which?" Fitz asked.

"The one on the horse there. The leader cowboy."

"Ahh. Rip."

What a fitting name.

"Rip, huh?" Olivia asked, raising her eyebrows at the screen.

Fitz looked over at her suspiciously and shook his head.

"Dammit, not…not you too!" Fitz exclaimed.

"What?!"

"Abby watches this show. So do a lot of her friends. Her friends that are women. And it seems every woman that watches this show has one thing in common."

"And what might that be?" Olivia asked with a smile.

"You all have a thing for Rip. Well. Except for my mother, who…has a ginormous thing for John Dutton."

"Which one is John Dutton?" Olivia asked.

"Kevin Costner."

Olivia laughed. "Ohhh! I should have known. That's funny. My mom loves him too. And, baby…they both have a point, I have to admit."

"Oh, I'm aware. I always remember Costner being quite the…heartthrob. Still is at his age now, clearly."

"Yeah, he's definitely a bit old for me, but I have seen quite a few of his older movies when he was younger. Field of Dreams. Dances With Wolves. JFK. Oh, and The Bodyguard — now that's one of my favorites to this day. And he was…wow. He was pretty adorable when he was young, honey, I can't lie."

"Oh, wow! The fact you've seen those other three doesn't surprise me, but I am a little surprised you've seen The Bodyguard!" he chuckled.

"Baby, please. Of course, I have. You think I don't know where Whitney's version of I Will Always Love You came from?" Olivia asked.

Fitz nodded. "That's true. It's a pretty iconic movie, too, I suppose. My mom used to have half of that soundtrack in sheet music. Those songs sound great on piano."

"Oh, I bet they do. Everything about that movie was great. I mean, him and Whitney? That's a must-watch for everyone in my book."

"I agree. Though I found, uh…Whitney to be the cute one, personally," he shrugged.

Olivia laughed. "Totally understandable. She was gorgeous."

"She was," Fitz agreed. "So…I stand corrected then. You have a thing for Costner and Rip."

"No!" she laughed. "Well. Okay. Young Kevin Costner — yeah, but I mean…can you even blame me, though?! Who doesn't."

"Okay, okay. But…not Rip?" he teased

"Nope," Olivia said confidently.

Fitz raised an eyebrow, like he was skeptical. "Uh-huh."

"I do not!"

"You're gonna have to fight Beth for him," he warned her.

"Who's Beth?" Olivia asked.

"His girlfriend. Sort of."

"Sort of?" Olivia laughed.

"Yeah. Beth is…Beth. She's hard to explain. Also slightly…frightening."

"Well, then it's a good thing I don't have a thing for Rip," Olivia smirked, putting her computer aside and scooting onto his lap. He simultaneously pushed his aside too, welcoming her onto his thighs.

"Just Fitz Grant," Olivia added, giving him a kiss.

"Oh. Really? Who's that?" Fitz asked, wrapping his arms around her.

"I don't know. Some guy," Olivia shrugged.

"Oh yeah? Nice. Well if you have a thing for him…he must be, like…kind of cool."

"He's super cool," Olivia agreed, leaning in to kiss his cheek.

And then his neck. Repeatedly, until he started tilting his head to the side for her to continue.

"And so sweet, and kind. And smart, and honest. And sooo handsome," she whispered.

"Hmm," Fitz wondered, tightening his grip around her. Sometimes he found it crazy that she talked about him like that. He felt so lucky whenever she did.

He started kissing her too. Her cheek, her neck — anything he could reach without interrupting her. Meanwhile, his show kept going. Which was fine — though there was a pretty rough and distracting scene that started to take place, which interrupted their kissing.

One of the characters, Kayce, made a snide comment to Rip.

"I ain't used to seein' you off my father's leash."

Rip didn't like that one.

He tilted his head, looking casually down at Kayce from his horse. "What's that?"

"I didn't stutter," Kayce replied.

A huge fight ensued, in which Rip clearly won.

And then it was settled.

Olivia and Fitz had watched it all — breaking away from each other's lips because the scene was loud, distracting, and somewhat hilarious.

"Yeah. Okay," Olivia whispered, still out of breath from their kissing. "I have a thing for Rip."

Fitz started chuckling shaking his head at her.

"I knew it!" he exclaimed with a laugh.

"I mean, come on, baby, did you just see all that?" Olivia asked, pointing to the screen.

"Yeah, yeah, I saw it. That was…yeah. He's a badass, I get it."

"Whew," Olivia said.

"So you'd find it hot if I kicked someone's ass then?" he asked, tilting his head.

"Hmm…" she pondered with a smile. "I really want to say no, because there are much more civilized ways of figuring something out than physically fighting. But…yeah, baby, if I watched you throw a big punch at someone who deserved it, I think I'd have to take you somewhere to be alone. Right then and there."

He raised his eyebrows and his eyes widened as they both started laughing.

"I'm putting 'get in justified fight with someone' on my mental to-do list," he admitted.

Olivia cracked up. "Justified fight."

"Right."

"Okay, important question then, who are you going to fight, justifiably?" she asked, smiling at him.

"Rip," he answered simply, before starting to tickle her sides. "For…stealing my woman."

"Ahhh!" Olivia giggled, as she squirmed away. He just followed her though, pinning her down on her back on the couch as she giggled adorably.

He was chuckling, watching her smile. That smile brightened up the entire room.

"Rip is not — going to steal me," she managed to get out, amidst the laughs.

"I'm not so sure," he said, smiling down at her as his fingers slowed down. "You're a catch."

"Let him have Beth," Olivia said, wrapping her arms around Fitz's neck. "I'm taken."

"Taken, huh?" he asked, settling himself between her legs.

"You better believe it," she whispered, leaning in for a quick kiss.

"So…you're saying nobody could charm you away?" he asked.

"Mhm, that's what I'm saying," Olivia nodded.

"Not even…Robb Stark?" he asked, tilting his head at her.

She gasped. "Okay. True. Robb Stark can have me."

Now he gasped, which had her bursting into giggles again.

"I'm kidding, honey, I'm kidding," she laughed, pulling his face down toward hers and kissing his cheek.

"Don't make me tickle you again," he warned, resting his face down on her shoulder.

"You know there's only…one guy for me," she said, running her fingers through his curls. "In this whole world."

"Well. He's the luckiest guy in this whole world. Just know that…he knows that," he whispered.

She smiled at him, turning her head to face him. And then their lips were meeting again.

It began slowly, as if it could be one of those makeout sessions that lasted a while and that was that. But soon it became clear it wasn't going to last a while. Instead, it was going elsewhere.

Amidst wandering hands, Fitz felt around for the remote on the couch — he knew it had to be somewhere. His eyes were closed so it took him a bit of fumbling around to locate it and grab it.

He pointed it at the tv and hit the pause button, while never stopping what he was doing or even looking away.

He then tossed the remote and it clattered down to the ground, which had Olivia giggling against his lips.

"Should we…should we go upstairs or are we doing this right here?" he asked.

"Right here, right now," she whispered, pulling her shirt over her head.

"Perfect," he said, pulling his shirt over his head too.

Karen was gone, so it was one of the times this really could happen right there in the living room.

He stood from the couch and took the rest off. His shorts, which currently showed his hard dick outline, his boxers, all of it.

And then he reached for her pants.

She smiled, briefly lifting herself off the couch so he could pull her pants and underwear off. She decided to help him out a little bit, and remove her bra, too.

He enjoyed the view for a second, seeing her sit there naked and waiting for him.

It was a beautiful sight. And he could have taken her just like that, but it wasn't how he wanted it right now.

He sat down next to her on top of the blanket she'd been using before, thinking ahead to prevent any mess. And he gestured to her with his fingers.

Almost as if to say "hop on."

Oh God, don't mind if I do, she thought.

Excitement grew in her as she mounted his lap, lining herself up with his erection.

She had to go slow at first and get herself warmed up. But it never changed, that first feeling of it sliding in couldn't be beaten, for either of them.

"Mm," he moaned, nodding at her in approval.

She panted, slowly sliding all the way down as she gripped the back of the couch behind him.

She lifted herself and did it again, until she set a rhythm. A rhythm that had him biting his lip and nodding.

"Perfect," he whispered.

"I miss this — so much when I leave you," she whispered, touching her nose to his as she rode him.

"Me too. I always do — so…much," he whispered back, pecking her lips.

He started guiding her ass with each roll of her hips, admiring the way her hips worked. And soon, his mouth was on her breast — one by one, and his fingers were rubbing her clit.

It was her favorite kind of multitasking. To feel him inside her, feel his fingers on her, and his mouth around her nipple. There wasn't much better in the world than that — it was too much. Too good. And a sure way to make her come.

This time was no different. Shortly after he came inside her, she finished too.

"Oh, Jesus," she moaned quietly, her face currently resting on his shoulder.

She was still on top of him; him inside of her. Neither could move yet.

"We've never had sex on this couch before," he whispered.

"I never thought about that. Where else haven't we had sex?"

"My car," he answered immediately.

"Wow, that was a quick answer. You been thinking about that, baby?" she laughed.

"Potentially."

"We'll have to remember that, and…Christen your car one day."

"Please."

She smiled, starting to rock back and forth, before slowly pulling herself off him.

He sighed, showing how relaxed he was just then as he leaned against the couch. He closed his eyes, squeezing her ass gently with both hands. She then ran her hand up and down his chest and abdomen, feeling the muscles beneath her fingers.

He wasn't even flexing, and they were so noticeable. So prominent.

"I know we have to get ready for our dinner reservations soon, but…you want to go again?" she whispered, leaning in to kiss his chest.

"I was…just about to ask you that," he smiled, tilting his head.

"Oh yeah, baby?" she asked, pecking his lips.

"Mhm. Come on, you."

He started lifting her up, and she laughed.

"Not here?"

"No. Last thing I need is to get cum on the couch. It's too new for that," he said, adjusting her in his arms.

"Oh, don't worry, baby. We fucked on the blanket on the couch."

"Uh-huh. Remind me to go wash that blanket after this," he chuckled.

"We really have to leave Rip?" Olivia said, giving Fitz a sad face as she pointed to the TV screen, where Rip was still visible on pause.

Fitz chuckled and shook his head, walking her away from the living room.

"No, fuck Rip. He and I aren't friends anymore," he said.

Olivia was in a fit of laughter, wrapping her legs around him at all their teasing.

"I'm just…I'm just kidding. Unfortunately, I think he's…my favorite character, too," he whispered. That had Olivia laughing harder.

"You are so funny, baby," she said, kissing his neck.

He smiled, feeling his cheeks warm at her touch.

He walked her toward the staircase. Both of them naked, smiling, and now leaning in for another kiss.

That took concentration for him. To be able to kiss her and make his way to their bedroom with her in his arms. Especially because he was hard already, just from having her naked body pressed against him.

They made love once more in bed, making it last as long as they could. And making the moment afterward last as long as they could, too. Holding each other bare, kissing, and laughing was always something worth cherishing.

But they did have to get up and get ready not too long after. Not only because of the dinner reservations Fitz had made earlier that day, but because they had some picking up to do in the living room. Clothes, sex blanket, laptops with work in progress on them, the usual.

Oh well. That could be finished tomorrow.

As soon as Olivia was fully ready, she couldn't wait for him to see. She'd put her dress on in the closet and he'd still been getting ready in the bathroom, so he hadn't seen the whole ensemble yet. And when he first did, he let out a deep sigh and smiled.

"Christ, you look good," he said.

She was flattered, blushing and smiling. But also — taking the chance to check him out.

"You look damn good yourself, baby," she smirked.

He wore navy dress pants, a light blue shirt that was unbuttoned at the top, and camel brown accessories. His hair was freshly styled and the scent of his cologne filled her nose as he walked up next to her, wrapping his arms around her.

She was also wearing light blue — her dress matched his dress shirt. It had a v-neck that was just low enough, but not too low. It clung to her body perfectly in every way. It hit around her mid-thighs, showing off her amazing legs. And she had to admit, the color looked great on her, and her skin was glowing.

Olivia decided she better send a picture of her outfit to Shawn later, as she always loved to see the glammed-up outfits.

Fitz was clearly in favor of the ensemble, because he could not stop staring at her.

Her dress. The cleavage staring back at him right now. Her hair styled half up and half down. And the necklace he'd gotten for her hanging around her neck. The one she never took off.

He cupped her cheeks and pressed a gentle kiss to her lips, smiling at her sweetly.

"Thank you. You ready to go out, pretty girl?"

"I'm so ready," she nodded happily.

"Okay. Let's go," he said, taking her hand.

They hopped in the car and headed into the village — Olivia having no idea where they were going.

Before she knew it, they'd pulled up to an Italian restaurant known there as Ernie's, and already, Olivia could tell it would be extremely nice. He'd told her how fancy to dress beforehand, so she knew what to expect, but she was still very excited. Going out for a nice dinner with him never got old.

He came around to her side of the car and opened the door for her, offering his hand.

She took it and stepped out, smiling up at him.

"Thank you, baby."

"Mhm," he nodded, gently shutting the door.

He couldn't keep his eyes off her. He'd already seen her all dolled up and he still felt as though he hadn't gotten to look at her long enough.

Thankfully, they both had all night to ogle each other. And that's exactly what they did.

Their dinner was fantastic, and they both agreed it was at the top of their list so far of Bronxville restaurants. To top it off, their tiramisu for dessert was some of the best either had ever had.

They went home with their bellies full and their hearts happy, and decided to open a bottle of wine as soon as they returned. They polished off the bottle, Olivia drinking most of it, and by the time 11:00 rolled around, they were both pretty sleepy. Especially Fitz, once he took his medication.

Even still, they cuddled in bed together, whispering for as long as they could before they fell asleep.

Fitz's eyes barely stayed open as he lay there with Olivia in his arms.

"I love you," Olivia whispered, kissing his bare chest.

"I love you too," he whispered back.

"Thanks for dinner tonight. I had so much fun," she added, snuggling into him.

His eyes felt heavy as he tried to stay awake and respond. He was so happy. Happy, but tired.

"I'm…so glad, baby," he smiled. "That's my only goal, ever. I had fun too. Always do…with you."

She giggled at his clear sleepiness and pecked his lips once more.

"Goodnight, baby."

"Goodnight."

The next morning was much like the previous one; they began the morning in bed — for a nice long while — and then got ready and had a nice breakfast together. Fitz went and picked up Karen so she could get ready for volleyball, and pack up the rest of her things so she could head back to her mom's afterward. Olivia and Fitz, on the other hand, were hosting Abby and David that night for dinner, so they cleaned up the house a little bit before they left, in preparation for the evening.

Morning soon faded to early afternoon, and before they all knew it, it was time for Karen's match.

The game was much like the last one Olivia had been to. She was beginning to recognize more faces, and learn more names. It was still slightly awkward with Mellie. Not hostile, just…weird.

It was somewhat difficult for Olivia, too, especially because Fitz and Mellie's relationship had improved so drastically over the past months. They were practically friends these days. And that was amazing — Olivia couldn't be happier about that. But for the life of her, she couldn't develop anything remotely close to that with Mellie. And she knew it was different. Fitz and Mellie had known each other for a long time. They had a child together. They'd lived together. But even still, Olivia hoped one day that she and her could be less…weird. After all, Olivia wasn't going anywhere. And neither was Mellie.

Unlike the last match Olivia seen, though, Karen's team did lose that day. It was close, and kind of a heartbreaker, but the girls were pretty good sports about it. There were some long faces at the end in the school foyer, but also resilient ones. They couldn't win them all, and they'd get right back to it in a couple days.

"You played great, baby," Fitz said, giving his sweaty daughter one last hug.

"Thanks, dad. It wasn't enough though," Karen said sadly.

He chuckled, kissing her cheek. "Sometimes it isn't. That happens. You girls played some great sets. That's all you can do, is try your best. Right?"

"Right," Karen nodded, giving him a half-smile.

"Alright. Make sure you say bye to Olivia now," he said.

Olivia smiled, opening her arms wide.

Karen ran into them, wrapping her arms around her tightly. "Bye, Olivia. Thank you for always coming to my matches. It means a lot to me."

"Oh, sweetheart. You're so welcome. I love watching you play. And I'll miss you so much," Olivia said, brushing the damp curls from her face. "Until next time, okay?"

"Okay," Karen nodded sadly. "I love you."

"I love you so, so much, K," Olivia whispered, giving her one last squeeze. "Okay. Your mom's waiting, honey."

Karen nodded, waving to the both of them as she headed back to Mellie, who already had Karen's school backpack that Fitz had given to her earlier.

"Bye, daddy."

"Bye, honey," Fitz smiled. "I'll see you next week!"

Karen joined her mom as they walked out to the right side of the parking lot, while Fitz and Olivia headed to the left.

Mellie gave Fitz and Olivia a wave, which they both returned as they held hands and walked to his car.

A heavy sigh escaped Fitz's mouth as they sat down in the car.

"Another day, another volleyball match," he chuckled.

"I think I'm finally starting to understand all the rules now," Olivia said with a smile.

He turned to her, smiling. "Yeah?"

"Mhm," she nodded, squeezing his hand.

"Mmm, my little volleyball expert," he said, leaning in for a kiss.

"Oh, I don't know about that," she murmured, kissing him again.

"I do," he replied in between kisses. "You're an expert in everything."

"Everything?!" Olivia laughed.

"Everything," he nodded. "Some things…especially."

She raised an eyebrow. "Hmm…"

He started to laugh, his cheeks growing red. "Yeah. I didn't mean…that sounded…a certain way. Didn't mean it like that, but…it is true."

"Ohhh…uh-huh," she laughed.

"One of your expertise, by the way, I'm going to need tonight," he smirked.

"Oh? And which one is that?" she asked.

"The one that…involves your hands. You're…definitely an expert with your hands," he said.

She gasped. "Fitzgerald Grant."

"What? I meant…cooking. I need your help with dinner," Fitz chuckled innocently.

Olivia laughed and shook her head. "You're a tease."

"And you love it."

"Yeah. I do," she admitted.

"You ready to go use our hands then?" he asked, pecking her lips one last time.

She giggled. "Yes. Let's go."

They headed home and started preparing dinner almost right away, since Abby and David would be over for drinks before they ate.

Fitz was grilling steaks tonight, so those he wouldn't start until later. But they did start cutting vegetables and peeling potatoes for their sides.

By the time Abby and David arrived, the house was spotless, they had some music playing lightly in the background, the table was set, and the food was all prepped.

"The house looks amazing, you two. Just perfect," Abby said, giving them both a hug.

David agreed, and they thanked them.

"Still a few things left to do, but for the most part, it's done," Fitz nodded.

"Okay, now show me your fancy new piano, I'm dying to see it," Abby requested.

They led them to their smaller family room in the back of the house, where the piano was displayed, along with a modern, small sofa and a chair in the corner. The room was perfect for a piano — and it sure looked nicer and more complete now that the piano was actually there.

Abby gasped, admiring the shiny, black baby grand piano before her.

"Wow, that is gorgeous," she noted.

"Yeah, man, I can't even play but that right there is nice," David chuckled.

"I feel the same. I also can't play, but I'm so glad that Fitz and Karen can because it's fun to look at and listen to," Olivia agreed.

"Karen's been trying to teach you, hasn't she?" Fitz laughed.

"Very true. After dinner, I'll have to play my recent masterpiece for you all. Mary Had a Little Lamb," Olivia said proudly.

That had all of them laughing.

"Please do, I'm already excited to hear how it sounds," Abby said.

"That's my favorite song, Olivia, so you really can't back out now," David warned.

"I would never," Olivia assured him. "Hopefully Fitz will play us a few of his masterpieces too. They're a little more…advanced."

"Yes, Fitzgerald, I do expect a few pieces from you as well," Abby said.

"Christ, 'Fitzgerald' is coming out already?" Fitz asked.

"Yes. Always," Abby nodded, as if it were obvious. "Just to piss you off."

"You know she enjoys pissing people off, brother," David nodded.

"I do," Abby smiled. "I'm a lawyer, what do you expect?"

"Oh no — after all this time I'm just now learning that your full name pisses you off?!" Olivia exclaimed.

"Oh, no, Liv. You can call me whatever you want. You, and my mother — that's it," Fitz assured her.

"Special Goddess and mother rules," Abby agreed.

"Exactly," Fitz added.

"Whew. Thank Goodness," Olivia said.

"But Abby and me? We enjoy pissing him off, because although he tries, he can't actually be mad. His attempts are enjoyable to witness," David shrugged.

"See, aren't they just…like, the best of friends?" Fitz asked.

"They are! That's exactly what friends do!" Olivia laughed.

"She gets it!" David nodded.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. But just for that, I'm…I'm going to turn my anger up a notch."

Abby and David cracked up, patting him on the back.

"Pffft. Okay, dude. You go ahead and try," Abby said.

"Big old softie," David chuckled.

"They have a point. You're not very intimidating, honey," Olivia smiled at him, holding his hand. "But I love you for it"

Fitz pointed at Olivia. "See that? She's nice to me. She's all I need. I'm going to make dinner for her, and…her only. You guys can make your own."

Abby gasped, giving him a smile. "Oh, wow! Fitz, that was a pretty good attempt!"

"I was almost convinced!" David chuckled.

"Yeah? Was it good?" Fitz asked.

"So intimidating. I almost kind of believed you. Sort of," Olivia nodded up at him.

"Progress," Fitz smiled proudly, starting to lead them out of the room. "Alright. Come on, assholes, I'll pour you both a glass of wine."

That had Abby and David laughing too. "He's getting better and better."

Fitz chuckled, and looked over at Olivia. "I'll pour you one too. You're just not an asshole so…I didn't want to group you in with them."

Olivia put her hand to her heart. "How sweet of you, baby."

"I thought so," Fitz nodded.

"I love you guys," Abby laughed.

They had a couple glasses of wine and chatted before Fitz and Olivia started finishing up dinner. Though, David only had one glass — as he was driving home tonight.

As Fitz and Olivia teamed up in the kitchen, Abby and David sat on the island barstools in front of them — enjoying some cheese and crackers with their wine.

"You have the salt over there?" Fitz asked.

"Mhm," Olivia nodded, handing it to him.

"Thanks. And —"

"Pepper," Olivia said, handing him that too.

He gave her a smile and nudged her teasingly before they both returned to their preparations.

"Okay. Honey — we need to take notes from these two," Abby said. "They finish each other's sentences, and things go smoothly for them in the kitchen. We, on the other hand, are chaos in the kitchen. Pure chaos."

"That's so true," David laughed. "I love our chaos though, babe."

"Hey. It totally happens. We're chaotic in other ways," Olivia assured them with a laugh.

"Oh, please fill us in, I'm curious," Abby said.

"Uh, well, to start — do you remember how it is we got together?" Fitz pointed out.

Olivia immediately put her hand to her mouth, covering her embarrassed smile. Abby did the same.

"Okay. You got me there. That's…I can't deny that one," Abby agreed, chuckling.

"Nope," Fitz agreed amongst the laughter. "And that was…mostly my bad. That chaos was on me, I, uh…I apologize about that, Liv."

"Uh — baby. I literally came in and caused half the chaos," Olivia pointed out. "Probably…80 percent of the chaos, actually. I think it's on me."

"Oh, Liv. Sweet, Liv," he said, shaking his head. "My life was already a clusterfuck before I met you. When you came into it, it became a different kind of clusterfuck, sure, but…a much better one. You brought…good chaos to my already chaotic life. The best…chaos."

Olivia smiled and leaned in for a hug, which Fitz immediately reciprocated as Abby "awwee"d.

"You're really showing your way with words tonight," she laughed, rubbing his arm.

"Yeah that probably wasn't…wasn't my best, but you know what I'm trying to say," he said, smiling down at her.

And she nodded, leaning her head against his chest. "Yeah. I do, baby. I do."

"You two are too sweet," Abby added happily, taking a sip of wine. Another sip and it would be gone.

"And you are almost out of wine," Fitz said, looking for the bottle.

"Here, I've got it," Olivia volunteered, reaching for the bottle to pour Abby some more.

"Oh, thank you, honey," Abby smiled.

"Of course," Olivia nodded, refilling Fitz's glass too. "Alright, baby. We almost ready?"

"I think so. About ten more minutes, guys."

"Thank God, Grant, I'm starving!" David chuckled.

"Yeah, yeah, I know. Hold your horses, Rosen," Fitz teased.

When the steaks were finally about done to everyone's liking — Olivia started plating their food. That was something she could do exquisitely, after doing it hundreds of times at her mom's restaurant. She could make anything look even more impressive just by how she organized it on a plate. And that, as well as the amazing taste of the food, was deeply appreciated by everyone that evening.

It was a wonderful dinner, which slowly turned into a wonderful night afterward. One with laughter, old stories, and probably a little too much alcohol — at least for the three that weren't the designated driver of the bunch. And of course, as promised, some piano-playing.

Olivia did try her hand at "Mary Had a Little Lamb", and it was about as flawless as the easy song could possibly be. Karen would be proud.

But Fitz? He brought his absolute A-game. He first played a couple classics that he knew by heart for the group, which were wonderful, before Abby had a different idea.

"Can you still sight-read like your life depends on it?" Abby asked.

"Yes," Fitz answered simply, turning toward them all.

Abby and David were sitting on the couch snuggled up together, but Olivia was sitting on the carpet right next to the piano bench, looking up at him. Giving him some space to do his thing, but being as close as she could be while doing so. She could listen to him and admire him as he played the piano all day if he let her.

"Well let's see it then! Do you have anything you haven't played before?" Abby asked.

"Hmm…" he wondered aloud, searching through loose stacks of sheet music. "I'm sure I must, somewhere."

After a few moments of him searching, Olivia had a wonderful idea.

"If Abby agrees, maybe you should look up some of the songs from The Bodyguard. You said they sounded great on piano, and I'm sure you haven't seen that music in a long time!" Olivia exclaimed.

Abby gasped. "Oh, Abby definitely agrees. Yes, please. I love that movie. And that soundtrack!"

"Me too!" Olivia said happily.

"Alright, I like that. Let me look it up," he said, pulling out his phone.

"Do they have an app for that too?" Abby laughed.

"Oh, yeah. I have a yearly subscription; lets me download and print new sheet music whenever I want," Fitz nodded.

"Ohhh, that is magical," Abby noted.

"Mhm. Works out well when you have a daughter who asks you to learn new Disney songs every other week," Fitz chuckled.

"Awww, what a sweet dad," David said teasingly.

"Yes, thank you, I try," Fitz nodded.

"And you succeed," Olivia said, smiling up at him.

"Yes, you really do, dude," Abby agreed. "So…did you guys just watch The Bodyguard recently or something?"

"No, but we got on the topic of it because of Yellowstone," Fitz explained. "We were…talking about Rip, who Olivia has a thing for, and Kevin Costner. Naturally. Hence the discussion of…Costner's movies, and The Bodyguard and its soundtrack."

"Oh my God, girl, I have a thing for Rip too! Don't we all," Abby said.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," David said, sounding jokingly annoyed.

"Right? Apparently, we would…all lose our women to this guy," Fitz wondered aloud.

"Mmm, yeah, I don't know, baby, you might lose me to Kevin Costner, too," Abby said to David.

"What?! I gotta compete with him too? The man is, like, 60-something?!" David exclaimed.

"Uh. And?" Abby asked. "Have you looked at him? He's what you'd call a daddy."

Fitz had just taken a sip of his wine — and upon hearing what Abby had just said — he choked on it.

Olivia, too, had just taken a sip, and the mixture of Abby's proclamation and Fitz's wine-choking, had her choking and coughing as well.

Which had them all in a fit of laughter for various reasons.

"Jesus…Christ," Fitz coughed, shaking his head at his friend.

"Oh, wine down the wrong tube," Olivia stammered, still laughing.

"Babe, really?! In front of our friends?" David chuckled.

"What?! It's true," Abby shrugged simply. "Fine. I'll be boring. He's…a silver fox. How's that."

"I can live with that, that's better, thank you," David said graciously.

"I'm…plenty used to her saying whatever the fuck she wants. I just wasn't prepared that time I guess," Fitz said, clearing his throat and letting out a chuckle.

"You never really are with her," David said, putting his arm around his wife with a smile.

"That's why you love me, right?" Abby asked.

"Yep," David agreed. "With all my heart, you whacko."

Abby smiled and laid her head lovingly on David's shoulder. "Alright, Fitz. I'm ready to hear songs that will probably make me cry."

"Okay," Fitz chuckled, finishing up on his phone. "They're printing, I'll be right back."

He came back with a couple options: "Run to You" and "I Have Nothing." And man, were he and his mother correct. They did sound amazing on the piano.

He played them like a pro, as if he'd known how to play them by heart for years, or something. It was safe to say, everyone was appreciative of the nice concert and extremely impressed.

And to add to that, Olivia was extremely proud. That was her man.

So after their little gathering in the piano room, they could add music and even some dancing to the list of activities that night.

Along with even more drinking.

But it was all in good fun, and each one of them was so happy they'd spent their last night of the weekend with each other. They agreed that their next dinner would be at Abby and David's house, and that it would have to be soon.

Abby and David headed out around 9:30, and as David went to start the car after saying goodbye, Abby pulled Fitz aside in the foyer.

"I'm…I'm seriously kind of drunk. You and your beautiful Goddess got me drunk on a Sunday!" Abby exclaimed.

Fitz burst into laughter and nodded. "I know. I think…I think we got ourselves drunk too."

"You did. You totally did. I haven't seen you drunk in a while. It's amusing," Abby laughed.

"You…shut up," Fitz chuckled.

"You know what else I haven't seen? Like, ever? You — this happy. My God, you're radiating happiness, dude."

"I know!" he exclaimed with a smile. "Isn't it…isn't it great?!"

"It is! It's so great and I'm so happy for you!" she exclaimed quietly, looking around for Olivia. She was currently in the bathroom.

"Thank you," he smiled. "Thank you, Abby."

"You're fucking welcome. Okay. I should go, my sweet and sober husband is waiting in the car, but I had to tell you that. You — I hope you marry her, Fitzgerald. She is just…she is lovely. And so damn sweet. You two are perfect."

"I'm going to. I'm going to marry her," he nodded. "And…don't call me that."

"Good. Thank God, whew," Abby said, relieved. "And I'll call you whatever the hell I want to call you."

"Yeah, I know you will, Abigail," he chuckled.

She smiled and pulled him in for a hug. "I love you, you asshole."

"Love you too. Even though I'm…not an asshole," he protested.

"No," she agreed with a smile. "You're not. You're wonderful. And drunk, so don't stay up too late, hotshot."

"You're drunker than me!" Fitz exclaimed.

"Touché. See you. Thank you for having us!"

"Thank you for coming. Bye, drive safe."

Abby left and Fitz headed toward the kitchen to finish cleaning up. He met Olivia on the way, who had just come back from the bathroom.

"Well, did they have a good time?" Olivia asked with a smile.

"They had a great time. I hope you did too," he said, taking her hand.

"I really did, baby. They're so much fun," Olivia noted with a smile.

"Yeah? I'm so glad you think so, baby," he said. "I'm…so thankful that you do."

When he was with Mellie, it had been extremely rare for the four of them to have dinner, considering the women weren't huge fans of each other.

But seeing Abby and Olivia click, and all of them have such a nice time together was a relief. And not just that, but it was fun.

"Mhm. I'd love to meet Cory too! Your new neighborhood bestie," Olivia giggled, starting to load the dishwasher.

"Neighborhood bestie," Fitz chuckled.

"Well, he is! And I think it's so sweet," she nodded.

"It's…it's been nice to meet another friend," he admitted. "I'd like to meet the rest of your friends too."

"I'd like that too," she admitted, going to put her arms around him. "It's time, I think."

He smiled and hugged her immediately, holding her tightly.

"Liv. I uh…" he began, looking at her with a smile. "I gotta tell you something."

"Okay," Olivia said, giving him a questioning smile.

"I'm…I'm, like, drunk right now. I haven't been drunk in a while. But I…really am right now," he admitted.

His words weren't slurred or anything, but she could still hear it in his voice and see it in his smiling face.

"I know you are. And it's okay. I am too," she laughed.

"Baby, you actually…you drank a substantial amount. I…I didn't. I feel like I had a very average amount. And I'm…I'm drunk," he chuckled confusedly.

"Well, you don't drink very much on your medication these days. I'm sure your tolerance is…"

"Pathetic?" he asked.

"That's not what I was going to say!" she exclaimed with a giggle.

He chuckled, lifting her up into another hug. And he held her there, holding her so tightly.

"I love you so much," he murmured.

She did appreciate the extra affection and mushiness that came during the rare occurrences he was intoxicated. Because she was the same way.

"I love you," she said, kissing his cheek. "I love you so, so much."

"Even though my tolerance for alcohol is…apparently…pathetic?" he asked.

"Mhm," she smiled.

"Okay. That's good," he said in relief.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned her head on his shoulder, feeling her absolute safest and most thankful to be his.

"I guess…we gotta clean this kitchen up, huh," he said, looking around.

"Mhm," she nodded. "I'd rather do it now than tomorrow morning."

"Me too," he nodded. "Okay. Faster we clean it all up, faster we can go upstairs and…uh, sleep…"

"Sleep," Olivia agreed, looking at him suspiciously, but with a smile.

He just gave her an adorable, innocent smile back.

"Sleep," he nodded. "Yes."

"Alright then, let's get to it," she said, patting his arm.

"Yes, ma'am."

It only took about fifteen more minutes and the kitchen looked like its typical pristine self.

And after that, the two were headed upstairs, getting ready for bed, truly.

Fitz made it into bed first, while Olivia still finished up in the bathroom.

"Baby, come to bed," he requested, taking off his shirt. His boxers followed.

"I'm coming, baby, hold on," she called out.

"You can…leave your clothes in there and…bring a towel, if you want," he suggested.

"What was that?" she laughed, peeking into the bedroom.

He now lay there lazily, completely naked, waiting for her. He patted the sheets next to him sweetly.

"Well look at you, handsome. Where are your clothes?" she laughed.

"I was…hoping we could — not wear them," he replied.

She raised her eyebrows at him, still brushing her teeth.

"You're horny, aren't you," she asked.

He nodded immediately, but remained silent. He just looked at her with a smirk. A smirk that was sexual, yet innocent. Only he could manage that.

"You are something else, Fitzgerald grant," she giggled. "Give me one second."

He smiled and pulled back the covers, preparing for her to get in bed. He lazily touched himself, feeling his erection grow extremely stiff in mere seconds as he anticipated feeling her around him.

He licked his lips, waiting for her to return to the bedroom. And she did — just as he'd asked. Naked, and with a towel.

"Mm," he nodded. "Perfect."

"You sure you want to? You just took your meds, you're going to crash soon," she said, crawling in bed with him.

"This," he said, gesturing to her naked body. "This wakes me up."

"I like that answer," she smirked.

He pulled her closer to him instantly, and she crawled up to kiss him as he sat there. And that went on a good, long while. His hands were immediately wandering, squeezing her breasts, going between her legs, feeling her curves beneath his skin. His panting came on quickly, too; he was drunk and his heart was racing, so he couldn't help it. But even being drunk, his actions didn't show it. He mostly just seemed really turned on. Which, he was.

"How do you want it?" he panted, before letting his tongue slide in her mouth.

She let her tongue brush his, sloppily and for a long time, before responding. The moans of encouragement from them both were clear signs of their enjoyment.

"You tell me…you're the horny one," she panted back.

He paused, sliding a finger inside her finally.

"Oh. It's…just me, is it?" he asked, watching her gasp in pleasure. His finger came out wet, and he tilted his head at her, doing it again. And again.

She gasped, clutching the headboard. And just like that, he'd proven his point. She nodded at him to keep doing it, so he did, even adding another finger. But he did it slowly; he didn't want her getting too close yet.

"Yeah," he nodded, looking down at his glistening fingers. "You're right. It's not like I can…hear how wet it is right now. Not…not like you're…dripping already — or anything."

She smiled at him, watching him slowly finger her, with a smile on his face.

"Don't…sass me," she whispered, leaning in close.

He chuckled quietly, rubbing his damp fingers across her swollen clit and watching her pleased reaction.

"Sorry," he whispered. "Won't…happen again."

She let out a long, slow exhale, rubbing herself against his fingers now.

"Guess I can't help it. You make me wet — so…fast," she said.

"Yeah," he nodded simply. The alcohol gave him that extra boost of confidence. And frankly, why deny the truth? "I know I do."

She smirked and leaned in for a kiss, which escalated to a sloppy makeout again.

In between kisses, he slid his fingers in his mouth as he often did, tasting her. And then he went right back to kissing her, so she could taste it too.

It wasn't long before he was inside her. He'd pinned her tightly to the mattress, with her legs up by his arms. She was flexible enough for it, and it felt amazing for both of them.

He slid all the way into her a few times, both of them watching him fill her up. She ran her fingers up and down his firm chest with each deep thrust and nodded encouragingly.

"Oh, God— all the way in," she moaned, gripping his shoulders. "Oh, baby — yes."

"Yeah — how's that?" he panted.

She nodded, closing her eyes and relishing in the moment.

But he soon picked up his pace, and went a little harder. He was hitting it just where she needed it. Just where she craved, and her moans were letting him know just that.

And he was just as eager and close as she was. It just felt so good. They both still hadn't gotten used to the fact that they could feel each other bare, now that she was on birth control. It was amazing, and they couldn't get enough of it.

His fingers were clenched so tightly that it hurt to unclench them, but he paid it no mind. He couldn't with everything else he was currently feeling.

They were so close. It was consuming them both, filling up their bodies as he just about yelled her name and she yelled his — loudly.

It was a big one. Powerful, even — for the both of them.

"Oh…God. Fuck," he groaned, laying his head down on her chest. He stayed all the way inside her, feeling the mess they'd made.

She sighed contently, running her fingers through his curls. Enjoying his throbbing dick still inside her.

"Stay in. Just…a bit longer," she whispered, kissing his cheek.

"Anything you want," he said, moving in and out ever so slowly for her.

"I felt that one so much, baby," she whispered. "It was a lot."

"Christ, I know," he replied, nodding in agreement. "Feel good?"

She cupped his cheeks and nodded at him. "You always do. I always want to feel you."

"Me too," he whispered, kissing her lips lightly.

"You sleepy now?" she asked, tracing his cheek.

"Yes," he admitted, pulling out slowly and collapsing on his back. "Are you?"

"I am," she whispered. "I was already…kind of tired before. You just…woke me up enough beforehand because your nakedness intrigued me."

He chuckled quietly to himself, which had her smiling.

"I completely relate. Your nakedness has the same effect on me!" he agreed.

"Good. I'm glad," she laughed.

"I'll be honest — I'm still drunk."

She cracked up. "Yeah, you are. You better grab some water, honey."

"You're…you're right. I should. You're so smart," he said, getting out of bed. He at least cleaned himself up before exiting the room, but he still walked out completely naked. Which Olivia hadn't expected.

"Is this what you do when nobody else is here? You just roam the house naked?" she yelled out.

"I don't know. I guess…you should stay here more often to find out," he called back.

"Clever," she laughed to herself.

He came back with huge glasses of water for the both of them — hopefully, they'd be able to curve the slight hangovers they may be in for.

But regardless, it was a fun night, and they were glad they'd spent it the way they had.

And after a busy and tiring night, falling asleep was a breeze.

She awoke later than he did the following Monday morning. She vaguely remembered him getting out of bed and asking if she wanted to work out with him.

Clearly she'd said no, because she was still fighting off sleep and trying not to let it take over again.

But then she saw him, fresh out of the shower, heading to put on clothes — and she was instantly more awake. How could she not be, when his body looked the way it looked. Again — complete intrigue, always.

She propped her chin up in her hand and watched him over in their massive closet. He hadn't noticed she was awake yet, but man, she sure noticed him.

He stood there in just his towel, thumbing through his top row of suits, clearly trying to figure out which he wanted to wear today. It made her smile to watch him internally debate.

The towel that had been clinging to his hips then came off, as he dug through his underwear drawer and grabbed a pair.

He hung the towel up for a minute on his hook, about to put on his briefs, but then she spoke up.

"I think you should forget about the briefs for now, personally," Olivia shrugged. "Just let it breathe while you pick out your suit, you know? Just a suggestion. From a…concerned girlfriend."

He turned to her with a smile, setting his briefs down on top of his set of drawers.

"Well good morning, you," he chuckled.

"Yes, it is a good morning," she agreed, eyeing him.

"You feel alright?" he asked.

"I do. Completely fine, actually," she nodded. "You?"

"Yeah, I feel good," he smiled. "Workout helped I think. I always feel better afterward. You, on the other hand, were not feeling it this morning."

She laughed. "Oh, I know, I vaguely remember you asking me. I'm sorry, baby, I must have been so tired."

"It's okay," he chuckled. "I could tell you were really tired. You kinda…mumbled something sleepily and closed your eyes again. So I just kissed you, and let you sleep."

"Awww, thank you. That's so kind of you," she smiled gratefully. "I don't remember the kiss, though, so I think I need a redo."

She gestured for him to come over to her, and he did right away. Bracing his arms on the mattress, he leaned down and pecked her lips a couple times, watching that familiar smile form on her face whenever they kissed. It would never get old.

She rubbed his strong arms, looking at his immaculate physique as he leaned down toward her. And of course, her eyes couldn't help but wander to his dick, too. How was she supposed to resist that?

"Thank you," she murmured. "This was a very helpful exercise."

"You're welcome," he chuckled, pulling down the comforter slightly.

It revealed her bare breasts, so he slowly pulled it the rest of the way down so she was just as naked and out in the open as he was.

"I think it's only fair, since you're making me forego underwear at the moment," he shrugged.

"You make a valid point," she nodded.

He got some stares in too, appreciating her bare body, before returning to the closet to get dressed.

"I'm sorry, Livvie. I do have to put clothes on now," he said. "I think…I may get fired if I show up to work like this."

"Yeahhhh, I suppose," she agreed, smiling over at him. "I'll allow it."

"Oh good, I'm glad I have your permission," he said, giving her a smile.

"You should definitely stay naked in bed for as long as your schedule allows though. I would…I would love that," he admitted, slipping on his briefs.

"Oh, would you?" she laughed.

"I would. That's…that's my favorite style of yours, remember," he nodded.

"I remember," she nodded, opening her legs a little bit.

He sighed, licking his lips appreciatively.

"Unfortunately for you — I've got to stop at the library before my class this morning. So I think I've gotta get ready too," she said, slowly sitting up in bed.

He shrugged and nodded. "I suppose I'll allow it."

That made her giggle at him.

"I love you," she laughed.

He smiled. "I love you too."

"And I love that suit," she added, nodding toward the pants he was currently pulling up. A navy blue plaid pair. Wowza.

"Thank you," he said, tucking his shirt into his pants.

Damn, could he wear a suit.

By the time Olivia got out of the shower, he was all ready to go, looking amazing, smelling amazing, being amazing — as per usual.

And then, as always, came time for goodbye.

"Have a good day, baby," she said, giving him a long kiss.

"Thank you," he murmured in between kisses. "You too. I'll call you tonight, okay?"

"Okay, baby," she smiled. "I love you so much."

"I love you," he said, kissing her again. "I love you."

And then he was off, headed for the train station. It was always hard saying goodbye after a weekend spent with him. But they'd grown accustomed to it now. They had their routines, and those routines worked well for them for now.

And thankfully, that wouldn't be the case forever. Someday, it would be this way every day.

Having dinner together. Going to sleep in each other's arms. Waking up together, and enjoying their playful banter.

And doing it all over again the next day.

Someday, that would be the norm. And it wouldn't have to end after a weekend.

But for now, both would agree, things were going pretty damn great.
