Shortly after the recuse, Medusa and Jasmine returned to the Underworld. However, just after they left, someone else appeared above the town. His name is Pit, Captain of Palutena's Guard.

"I'm here Lady Palutena. But I don't see anything that seems out of place." He said, looking around.

"Strange, I was picking up some powerful dark magic earlier. I'm still picking up something, but it's a lot weaker than before." Palutena said.

"Maybe they went to lunch?" Pit asked.

"I don't know, but you might as well check it out," Palutena said, taking Pit into the town.

Pit landed on the rooftops, knowing it wasn't a good idea to land in the streets. He looks around again and saw some people going about their business.

"Hmm, I'm still not seeing anything. Are you sure this where you sense the Dark Magic?" Pit asked.

"I'm sure of it. It felt very familiar. Something I haven't sense in a long time." Palutena said.

Pit started to grow worried before he spotted something on the roof next to him.

"Oh boy. I think I found something!" He said, running towards a stone human.

"What is it, Pit?" Palutena asked.

"I human, I think." Pit said, trying to get a good look at it.

"Wait! I know this human," Palutena said, shocked.

"You do?" Pit asked.

"Yes, the Child Napper!" Palutena said, shocked.

"The Who?" Pit asked.

"He's a human that goes around kidnapping little girls and trying to sell them off as slaves," Palutena said.

"WHAT?! That's just..." Pit said, shocked.

"I know, but the question is, how did he get turned into stone?" Palutena said, thinking.

"I guess he tried to kidnap the wrong girl?" Pit brought up.

"Maybe..." Palutena said.

Pit then notices something else. Something at the feet of the stone human.

"Hmm, what's this?" He said, bending down.

"What is it, Pit?" Palutena said.

"It a note. Let's see... Great. I forget I can't read." Pit said before sighing.

"Let me have a look," Palutena said, reading the note.

"Palutena, this note is for you. I know you'll little pet angel can't read. This human tried to kidnap my daughter and I caught him. Before he was turned into stone, I was able to read his mind and discover where the other girls are. This is going to be the only time I'll help you. I did it for my daughter's sake. You'll find them near Central Peaks.

An Old Friend."

"Hmm," Palutena said, thinking.

"What did it say?" Pit asked.

"It tells me where the other girls are. But this note, it's very strange." Palutena said.

"Well, if we know where the girls are, then let's go find them." Pit said, ready for a recuse mission.

"Very well!" Palutena said, pulling Pit back to Angel Land.

However, Palutena was still confused. What did that note mean by an old friend? And who turned the human into stone? She could only think of one person that could do that, but she has been dead for years.

In the Underworld,

Medusa sat on her throne as Jasmine stood near her. Medusa looks at her out the corner of her eye, the kidnaping still fresh in her mind. Jasmine was almost taken from her, and Medusa did not want that to happen again. She was going to have to teach Jasmine some magic in case something like this happens again. However, Jasmine was human, teaching her magic wasn't going to be easy. She then notices the necklace on her and remembers how she put a charm on it to help her track her.

"Jasmine, may I see your necklace for a minute?" She said, surprising her for a second.

"Oh, sure," Jasmine said, taking it off and handing it to her mother.

Medusa looks at it before pocketing it.

"I'll return it later. There's something I want to do with it before I return it." Medusa said.

"Ok?" Jasmine said, a bit confused.

Medusa nods and stood heard a knock on the doors.

"Enter." She said and saw Thanatos and Pandora step in.

"Thanatos, your report?" She asked.

"Everything is ready for your plan." He said.

"We should strike now," Pandora said.

"No, Jasmine is not ready. She stands no chance against Palutena or her pet. We'll attack once she's ready." Medusa told them.

"WHAT?!" Pandora shouted, shocked.

"If that's what my queen wants, then I'll follow her orders," Jasmine said.

Pandora couldn't believe it. Medusa was holding off her plan for her little pet?! Thanatos was surprised as well.

"Are you sure? I mean, what if they find out?" He asked.

"Jasmine is not ready. Build up the army if you must, but do not attack Angel Land until I say so!" Medusa said.

Pandora finally couldn't take it anymore.

"YOU HAVE TO BE JOKING!" She shouted, her flames turning orange.

Medusa glares at her, but Pandora didn't care.

"You're putting the plan on hold for this human!? A human you can easily corrupt or turn into a monster, and yet you treat her like a pet?!" Pandora shouted.

"Enough..." Medusa started.

"NO! I'm done waiting! You're not the only one that revenged for what happened! I waited long enough!" Pandora said.

"I said, ENOUGH!" Medusa shouted.

"I said, No! We attacking, with or without your pet!" Pandora said.

Pandora suddenly flinched as Jasmine stood in front of her, holding her Medusa's Blades at her face.

"Mom gave an order. And you will follow it or be removed!" She said.

Pandora growls. This human was ruining everything!

"If anyone going to be removed, it's you!" She said, ready to fight.

Before it could start, Medusa finally stood up.

"ENOUGH!" She shouted, angrily.

"I said Jasmine isn't ready! If you have a problem with it, Pandora, then I suggest you leave and never return. And you can forget about the mirror!" She said, seconds away from turning her into stone.

Jasmine steps back as Medusa steps up to Pandora.

"I nearly lost Jasmine today! She will need more training if she ever hopes to face Palutena. Or did all you forget what happened the last time we attacked?!" Medusa said.

Thanatos and Pandora didn't forget. Even when they had Palutena as their prisoner, Pit still beat them.

"I said we'll wait and we WILL wait! Are we clear?!" Medusa shouted.

Thanatos nodded as Pandora backs down. Seeing there would be no more arguments, for now, Medusa sat down before looking at Jasmine.

"Jasmine is still a child. If she going to be a warrior, then she needs more training. As she stands, she won't last one minute against Palutena and her pet. She needs more training before she's ready." She said.

"Yes, Ma'am!" Thanatos said, not releasing his mistake until it was too late.

"What was that?" Medusa asked, growling.

"Nothing! It was a slip of the tongue!" Thanatos said, scared.

Medusa nods and dismisses them. She sighs as Jasmine turns to her.

"Mom? Are you alright?" She asked.

"I'm fine, dear," Medusa said, but Jasmine didn't believe her.

"Mom, Pandora doesn't scare me. I can take care of myself." Jasmine said.

"It's not that," Medusa said, sighing.

"Jasmine, for the first time in my goddess life, I almost lost something close to me. I almost lost someone I started to call my daughter. I've only known you for two years and I felt something I never thought I would feel. The love of a human. I'm the Goddess of Darkness, and you're a human. I know that some things here would kill you with ease, and I might not be able to save you. For two years, you call me mom, mother and even treated me like one. I hate humans, but out of all the humans I have seen or met, you weren't scared of me. You stood up to defend yourself. You took your time to know me. You don't see me as a Goddess but as a mother." Medusa said.

Jasmine smiles before hugging her.

"I see you as a lonely woman that needed some love. Even if my family was alive, I would still think of you as a person. You may be the Goddess of Darkness, but you're also a very nice person once I got to know you. I'm glad that you're watching over me. I'm glad to be part of your family. Pandora can try all she wants, I'm not leaving you." She said.

Medusa was shocked. If she could, she would have tears coming from her eyes. She hugs Jasmine close to her, a rare smile appearing on her face.

"I know." She said.

"I love you, mom," Jasmine added, causing Medusa to feel her heart skip a beat.

"I...love you, too." She said.

And I'm out of ideas. Sorry about that. But I had Pit and Palutena appear and Palutena is wondering who she senses but doesn't have a clue who it is, yet. And it appears Pandora lost her temper, but Medusa and Jasmine put her in her place. And it appears that Medusa has come to really care about Jasmine and does see her as her daughter. But I'm not done yet.

Also, in case some of you didn't figure this out, Jasmine is supposed to be like an underworld version of Pit. Like if Pit serves Medusa instead of Palutena. And I bet some of you wonder where Hades is? He found out that I was bringing Pit and Palutena in, and he said he had "things to do". Really? Ah, well. I'm going to invite a few more people to join my endnotes, but I haven't heard back from them yet. But they'll be here.
