25 Week
May 14th, 2020.
Ava changes the paternity leave and works with the department heads to make sure the Bureau can function in her absence Rip and Gary step in and manage things.
Sara and Ava go to the appointment and Sara realizes Ava's distrust of the birth center and gives an off handed comment about how she would trust her if Ava was attending more appointments. Sara and Ava babysit Martina for Jax and Karen so they can have a date night. Things go well until it's bedtime and Martina howls. Ava can't manage to get her to sleep after an hour and Sara takes over, getting Martina to sleep in 15 minutes.
The next week, Ava has to go because of a work emergency, which Sara thought had been taken care of, but apparently not, so Sara asks Kendra to go with her for the next Lamas classes.
They work on the nursery and hate how the color has dried, so they go with purple and gray rather than purple and green. They get into a mini paint fight that includes painting a cute picture on the baby bump. Sara's trying to get Ava to talk to the baby. Sara is having to put up with some kicks and squirms from the baby which are both exciting and discomforting. So Ava then sings to the baby which seems to calm it down and lull it to sleep.
