The chill in the air brought them both inside where their tummies then led them downstairs for a bite to eat. Katsuki was glad to see everyone else had gone to bed.

In silence they prepared their meals, and turned on the TV to watch something while they ate together on the couch.

Erity cleaned up the mess they made and sat back down. "Erity." She heard Katsuki say. "Do you think Emiko will change her mind?" She turned to see the uncertainty there.

"She just needs some time."

"Yeah, but how much time?"

"That's up to her really. I wish I had the answer for that, but I don't." She got up. "Goodnight Katsuki, I'm off to bed."

"Hey." She paused. "Stay with me. Just a little longer."

For a little longer.

She turned to gaze back at the memory of her saying the exact same thing to him a while ago.

"Sure Katsuki." She sat back down. She found his hand grasping for hers once more. "Careful, you keep doing that and people will start thinking we're together or something." She said as she grasped his hand and put her head on his shoulder.

"They can think what they want. This cancer has made semi aware that I'm not immortal or immune to weakness. It's gone and messed with my entire mindset, which only pisses me off. I'm going to beat it and get my confidence back."

"You're still you Katsuki. Don't let the cancer make you think otherwise. It may change the way you look on the outside. But it won't change who you are on the inside. That's all you."

"You're something special, you know that?" Katsuki said. "Not many people would put up with me for this long."

"Why is there something wrong with you? If there is, I don't see it."

"There you go again, being weird."

"Embrace the weirdness Katsuki, embrace the weirdness." Erity never realized she had drifted off to sleep soon after, or that Katsuki himself had done the same until the next morning.

Katsuki began his morning stretch of the day, making sure all his limbs were fully alert for when he got up. He laid there and felt his leg was immobilized as well as his entire left side was crushed by the weight of something.

He woke up and discovered Erity was sort of laying against him with her hand over his chest. He felt a hitch in his throat and felt his face get hot. Erity also began to stir.

"Well good morning problem children."

"Huh?" Erity mumbled, finally opening her eyes and realizing their predicament. "Oh my gosh. Katsuki!" She suddenly jumped to the other side of the couch. Beet red as well.

Katsuki, who was able to use his arm and leg freely, now started to stretch them out.

"Care to explain yourselves?"

"Explain what? We got hungry, ate and fell asleep."

"And you're sure nothing else happened?" He asked Erity

"I'm still a virgin if that's what you mean." She said, Katsuki facepalmed

"No inappropriate touching?"

"What's with all the questions?"

"You see quite a lot of disturbing things as a teacher when students become involved with each other."

"Don't worry, I can handle myself against Katsuki. I've whipped his butt on more than one occasion."

"So I've been told." Aizawa said. Seeing the way they were eyeing each other now reminded him of their first battle together. Bakugo set off some minor explosions "You might want to hit the pause button on that."

"The sun's out."

"And it's also 5 a.m. You really want a bunch of pissed off angry faces converging on you while you fight? That will happen eventually if you go at it this early."

"Find us more open ground then. Away from the dorms."

"I'll check into it. Now look alive Bakugo or we'll be late."

"To what?"

"Chemo."

"Oh." Bakugo said, Erity saw his hesitation. This would be the first of many

"I'd like to come too."

"Why? He'll be on a machine and there's not much to do."

"Emotional support."

"That sounds like a good idea."

"I'll come too."

"Emmy." Katsuki's face lit up the moment he heard her voice.

"Count me in." Kirishima came into the room. So Bakugo sat in the middle next to Emiko and Kirishima while Erity sat up front with Aizawa.
