A/N: I had plans to take the next two chapters and do something entirely different with them. but I think this works better
"Erity, Take Emiko to Recovery Girl. The rest of you help me clean up this mess." She did as she was told.
"Despite what just happened. I really did care for him. Honestly." Emiko said.
"Were you using your quirk the whole entire time?"
"I stopped using it after our first conversation together. I had by that point felt myself rather attracted to him. The rest was all him."
"Until the cancer?"
"Yeah. My quirk does not work well under strenuous conditions like that. The lingering effects of my quirk still had some strings attached, so every time Katsuki would do his chemo it would affect me too."
"That would explain the mood swings."
"But I never meant to hurt him like that or out any of our little secrets. It was just, the string was wrapped so tightly it was hard for me to think."
"So what? All the angry outbursts we're just to relieve the tension inside your head?"
"It was unfortunately the only way I could cope. Well, a little bedroom activity would solve it too, try as I might though to get him excited, nothing worked. Absolutely nothing. What a pity."
Erity laughed.
"What?"
"Oh it's nothing really." 'Try fighting him, I bet that would work.' Is what she had been thinking. But Erity kept that thought locked up tightly. No one was going to get that tidbit of information.
"So you're leaving?"
"Yes."
"Why? Katsuki's free now, you can go back to the way things were before."
"The damage has already been done. I'm not even sure if there's a way to go back or if Katsuki even wants it to happen."
"But you do."
"Of course I do."
"You won."
"Oh yeah. Let me tell you what I 'won' : a lifetime of nightmares surrounding the deaths of my friends, Psychiatrists, psychologists, medication for days. I was put in a psyche ward because of you." She had put Emiko up against the wall at the furious thought of winning anything. Erity felt angry enough to punch her.
She didn't realize that was actually what she was about to do until a hand grabbed her wrist from behind. "You see what's happening right?" Katsuki was saying as he held her wrist. "This is her last line of defense, Embryo-"
"Emiko-"
"Whatever, she knows she can get under your skin and break down your defenses. As long as you let that happen she wins." Erity glanced back at Katsuki. "Don't let her win."
Erity took a long deep breath and released the tension in her arm. Causing Katsuki to let go.
"I'll take her the rest of the way." Katsuki said. "She and I have unfinished business we need to settle."
