Well...this was certainly longer then I thought it would be XD.
But there is quite a bit in it so it makes sense, lol.
I hope you guys enjoy.
"Rainbow Fist Punch!" Star fired one of her signature spells at the stubby three eyes monster, sending it back and crashing into the tree in the Loud's backyard. Another day another attempt Ludo was making with his monster gang to steal her wand and it was going just about as well as you'd expect. With Star and Lincoln easily just beating the crap out of them.
"Come on! How are you morons losing!?" Ludo yelled in frustration as he watched his monsters get tossed around like rag dolls…again…for the who-know-how-many time. "You have like 200 pounds of them!"
"Fire Geyser!" Slamming his left fist into the ground, Lincoln sent a stream of flames through the ground and making it erupt right under the giraffe monster, burning his body to a crisp. "One extra burnt monster coming right up!"
"Some syrup on the side!" Star said as she twirled her wand around and held it out. "Syrup Tsunami Shockwave!" Star then fired a large tidal wave of sticky syrup at all the monsters. Ludo's gang all screamed as they were swept away by the spell, even Ludo ended up in the cross fire.
"Now I see why people love looking at Modern Art. Its hilarious!" Lincoln comment as Star giggled. In front of them, all the monsters that had attacked them were all piled up together, stuck to one another due to Star's syrup spell and groaning in pain. "But it still needs a little something…hey Star mind magicing me up a sign and marker."
"Sure thing!" Star said with her usual grin as she used her wand to make a sigh and marker appear in Lincoln's hands. Lincoln snickered to himself as he wrote down something on the sign while hiding it from Star to make it a surprise for her, making the princess pout a bit.
But it was all worth it for the pay off as Lincoln finished writing, tossing the marker to the side, and walked over to the monsters all stuck to each other and stuck the sign onto one of their butts with it saying…
DO NOT DISTURB
"Pfft, ahahahahahaha!" Star began laughing ballistically as she saw the sign now on the pile of monsters. "That is, hahahaha, the best things, hahahaha, ever!"
"I know right!" Lincoln shared in Star's laughter as they wrapped an arm around each other's shoulders for support over their laughter. After about five minutes, the two finally calmed down as they took heavy breathes and held their stomachs which were now hurting a bit from laughing so hard. Totally worth it though. "Well, I think a victory like that calls for one thing. Flippee's!"
"Yes!" Star cheered as she rose her hands up in the air. Any time was a good time for flippee's after all. "Come on! There's no time to waste!"
"Well Flips is open 24 hours but alright!" Lincoln and Star then took off running with smiles on their faces, eager to get their hands on some frosty drinks! All the while Ludo was at the very bottom of the monster pile, his eyes constantly twitching, his teeth gritted hard against each other, and his face one of rage. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!"
"You guys! Are! Useless!" Back on Mewni, at Ludo's castle, Ludo was currently stomping and jumping around what could be seen as a break room and yelling at his monsters for how awful they are for not being able to steal the wand from Star. So you know, nothing new there at all.
All of Ludo's monsters simply groan and look down in shame for their leaders insults at them. All expect the unicorn bear who was trying, and failing, to insert a dollar bill into a vending machine. "You're always screwing up my brilliant plans! I need someone who can wrangle you imbeciles!" At this point Ludo was getting annoyed by the unicorn bear's constant attempt to insert the bill into the machine and slapped his hand away. "Oh, go get change!"
Ludo then scratched his chin as he thought about what he himself said. "Hmmm…yes." Ludo said with a nod. "Someone to wrangle you all in! That's it! Hahahahaha!"
And so Ludo quickly set up interviews with various monsters to see if he could find an evil efficiency expert for his army. But…he had little succus. Every monster he interviewed with was just about as bad, if not even worse then the monsters in his army from idiotic slobs, to extremely anxious and nervous wrecks to…a monster that looked disturbingly like a female version of Ludo himself. "These idiots are even dumber than you idiots!" Ludo yelled as he rubbed his temples in frustration.
But as Ludo was doing this, suddenly a glass was slid in front of him containing some sort of brown liquid with an eyeball floating inside of it. "West Mewnin stamp water." Offered the monster in front of him. Sitting in the interviewer's chair in front of him was some sort of bipedal lizard-like monster with blue skin. He wore a black suit with a white shirt underneath it and a red tie. He also had yellow eyes and slicked-back dark purple hair. But one distinct trait about him was that he was missing his right middle finger.
"Or do you drink from the bottle?" The lizard man asked in a proffesional tone as he held up an entire bottle of swamp water.
Ludo sighed in response as he took the glass of swamp water the lizard offered him. "On days like this." Ludo said before dipping his beak into the glass.
"Tell me about it." The lizard asked, his tone not changing.
"Oh I'll tell you." Ludo said with his voice being gargled by the swamp water. "I've been trying to steal a wand from a teenager. It's harder than it ought to be…wait a second!" Ludo then looked at the lizard with a raised brow as he wondered where exactly this guy came from as he never approved his minions to let him in. So, using a lever to raise his pillow stack to where Ludo could look down on the lizard, he asked. "Where did you come from?"
"I let myself in." The lizard stated.
"When?" Ludo further asked.
"After you hired me." The lizard said in the same exact tone.
"I hired you?" Ludo asked in a confused tone.
"I accept." The lizard 'graciously' accepted Ludo's 'offer.'
"…Excellent!" Ludo happily said with sparkling eyes. The unicorn bear proceeded to clap while Buff Frog simply looked around awkwardly, knowing something fishy was going on.
"We'll start tomorrow." The lizard man said as he shook Ludo's hand, placing a black card into it, before pulling away and crossing his arms behind his back in a proffesional way. "Get some rest."
Before anyone else could question the lizard about anything, they all watched as the suit wearing reptile walked out of the room. "Uhh…did anyone catch his name?" Ludo asked with the two monsters next to him shaking their heads. Ludo then took notice of the black card the lizard left in his hand, and on it said one thing.
Toffee.
"Toffee." Ludo said aloud as his eyes sparkled. "I guess his name is Toffee!" Ludo was excited to get to work with this monster, hoping he could lead him to victory and the wand.
THE NEXT DAY
Back on earth, Lincoln Loud could be seen laying down on his bed, eyes closed, and ear buds in his ears as he nodded his head to the music he was listening to. Currently nothing was going on today and Lincoln decided to just lay back in bed and play some music. It was moments that this that he truly cherished. Even more than himself time.
Moments where he can just…stop.
Just stop doing anything and be alone with his thoughts. Think about stuff. About the past. The future. The present. And what each of them held.
It was just a time of complete peace where he didn't have to worry about anything or anyone. Even himself. It was nice.
But due to him being both in a bit of a trance and wearing headphones, he failed to hear and to notice a dimensional portal opening up right in his room. A portal that looked it was made completely out of fire. And from this portal stepped out none other then the creator of all dimensional scissors, Hekapoo.
"Hey, I'm bored. Let's hang out." Hekapoo immediately said as she entered the room of the Loud boy. She was holding to her word of saying she'd come back to hang out on earth with the Loud boy again. However, her introduction was meant with silence causing the scissor maker to raise a brow and look around the room. "Hey? Snowball you here?"
The magical beings' eyes then came onto Lincoln's bed and saw the Loud boy wearing headphones, completely oblivious to her presence. Her mischievous mind then quickly started to get ideas as she smirked and let out a chuckle. "Oh this is gonna be fun." Hekapoo then tip toed over to the front of Lincoln's head and lifted her head up so that her face was right in front of Lincoln's. "Boop." Hekapoo then got the Loud boys attention as she poked his forehead causing his eyes to open and be met with Hekapoo's face. "BOO!"
"AAAAAAAAHHH!" Lincoln screamed in surprise as he looked at the white skinned girl right in front of him, causing him to roll off the bed and land on the floor with a thud, his ear buds falling out in response. "Ow…"
"Aw, what's wrong snowball?" Hekapoo asked with a teasing grin as she sat down on the frame to Lincoln's bed. "Not happy to see me?"
"H-Hekapoo?" Lincoln let out with a surprised expression and tone as he stood up, straightening out his cloths. "What the heck are you doing here?"
"Well considering you were wearing headphones let me say it again. "I'm bored and I wanna hang out." Hekapoo told Lincoln with the Loud boy now listening as the white skinned girl walked in front of him. "Remember what I said before I left last time? Expect me to show up quite often. And here I am."
"Well, just didn't expect it'd be so soon." Lincoln sheepishly admitted as he scratched the back of his head, a light shade of pink coming to his cheeks. "Hehe, I suppose you aren't just gonna leave if I ask ya?"
"Nope~" Hekapoo said in a teasing voice as she booped his nose.
"Well I guess I'm free so yeah, lets do it!" Lincoln said with a smile as he moved over to where his video game console is and grabbed a stack of games that were next to it. He was honestly pretty excited about getting to hang out with the scissors maker again as he found Hekapoo to be an extremely cool and fun girl. Yeah they might have had a…shaky first impression of each other but nothing that wasn't fixed after a day of going around and experiencing everything Royal Woods had to offer.
And based on her coming back for a round two of spending time with the Loud boy, it was safe to say there were certainly on very good and friendly terms now. "So what kinda game you wanna play? Fighting, RPG, platformer?"
"Bring on the fighting snowball." Hekapoo said as she swiped a controller up and sat down on Lincoln's bed. "I'm a fan of violence!"
"I can tell." Lincoln said with a smirk on his face as he inserted the Muscle Fish fighting game into his console. "But I warn you, I'm pretty good at this!"
"We'll see about that." Hekapoo said as she got ready to cream Lincoln at his own game.
In Star's room, the Butterfly princess was currently sitting down in a chair the opposite way, her head on top of the back, as she looked at her mirror with a bored expression on her face. The reason for this being that both of her parents were on her mirror with her father telling Star about a…less then interesting topic. "Of course very few are aware of this serious matter." River went on as Star's heart cheeks turned to spinning hour glasses. "So I'll be traveling afar to give an all-day lecture explaining the proper throne posture. Slouched shoulders are an epidemic among nobility these days."
At this point Star only heard her dad saying 'Blah-blah-blah' as she said. "So this is what its like to be bored to death…" Star muttered as she sighed and leaned her head down on the chair head, hoping this would be over with quickly.
"Star!" Suddenly snapping Star out of her bored-trance was her mother Moon as she spoke in a scolding and mad tone as she and River looked behind Star and noticed the dimensional scissors stabbed into her desk. "Are those dimension scissors?!"
"Uuuum, no!" Star lied as she picked up the scissors and a folded piece of paper. "Just, uh, normal earth scissors! See!" Star then used the dimension hopping tool to cut the paper into a unicorn cut out, but in the process opened a tiny portal that had a monsters hand come out of it and paw at Star with the princess quickly standing in front of the portal and arm so her parents wouldn't see it. "See?"
"Good. Because you're not to leave Earth." Moon informed her daughter as Star nervously laughed as she tried to push the monster arm back through the portal.
"Wouldn't dream of it…" Star said quietly as he managed to push back the arm, making the portal close.
"Glad to hear it!" River said with a smile as he stroked his beard. Just then a beeping sound was heard prompting River to look at his wrist and saw it was his watch reminding him of something that needed to be done at this time. "I'm sorry. Your mother and I must cut you short. I have lecture things to do."
"Oh him and his lectures." Moon commented before both she and River walked away, the mirror hanging up automatically as the two royals left.
Star sighed in relief as she opened up the drawer to her nightstand and put her scissors in it for safe keeping. "That was a close one." Star knew if her parents found out either her or Lincoln had dimensional scissors, they would not be happy in the least and she would certainly be punished for it.
As Star shivered at the thought of the kind of punishment her parents would give her, the door to her room opened her as Luan popped her head into Star's room and looked at the Mewman princess and asked. "Hey Star! You coming downstairs for the big event?"
"Event? What event?" Star asked before gasping and gaining a giant grin on her face. "Are we having a rainbow dolphin party?!" Star then used her wand and fired a beam in front of her making a rainbow-colored dolphin appear with star shaped sunglasses and a pompadour.
"Hey sugar mama!" The dolphin said with a ladies man's voice.
"Um…no." Luan slowly said as Star frowned and made the dolphin disappear with her wand. Once that…awkward moment was over, Luan regained her smile and said. "It's our parents wedding anniversary!"
Star let out a long gasp in response as she suddenly started to panic. "Oh my gosh! I had no idea!" Star said as she gained a look of guilt. "I didn't even get them anything."
"Aw don't worry about that Star." Luan reassured the princess with a wave. "Its our fault for not telling you beforehand. Its fine Star really, you don't have to get our parents a present."
"But I want to!" Star told Luan as she knelt down to meet the comedian's eyes. "Your parents are actually cool. I wanna do something to repay them for letting me stay here and everything."
"Well if you're that serious about it then why not go ask Lincoln?" Luan suggested making Star perk. "Its older anniversary gifts…kinda sucked but his last few ever since their anniversary three years ago have been great!"
"Uh, duh!" Star let out as she slapped her forehead at what Luan told her. "Why didn't I think of that? Lincoln is bound to have an idea of a last minute but still super special gift! Thanks Luan!"
"Happy to help." Luan said as she got of the princess's way allowing for Star to jump right of her room and quickly run towards Lincoln's room.
"Lincoln!" Star yelled as she slammed the door open.
"Ugh! How are you so good at this?!"
"Haha! Gotta do better than that snowball."
"Whaaaaaaaaaat?" Star let out at the scene she was witnessing inside of the Loud boy's room. Both Lincoln and his guest didn't seem to notice the princess barge in as Star saw Lincoln playing video games with Hekapoo. "Hekapoo?"
"Oh, hey Star." Lincoln and the scissor maker finally took notice of the Mewman princess in the room as Lincoln paused the game. "What's up."
"Well first off what's Hekapoo doing here?" Star asked as she pointed to said magical being.
"Oh, she just came over to hang out." Lincoln told Star as Hekapoo smirked and leaned against the wall. "So we're just playing video games."
"And he's getting his butt kicked." Hekapoo smugly said as she looked over her nails with Lincoln giving the red head an annoyed look.
"Ok anyway, Lincoln I really need your help right now!" Star then got to the reason she came into the Loud boy's room. "I just found out it was your parents' anniversary today and I have nothing to give them! I need your help!"
Lincoln smiled at Star's request…but then his eyes slowly started to widened with his smile turning into a frown at the same rate. "…What?" Lincoln asked with a bit of shaky tone.
"Do you have any ideas for me?" Star asked again, not noticing Lincoln's reaction. "I just wanna give em something to show how much they mean to me."
Lincoln was frozen. Star rose a brow at the face Lincoln was making as Hekapoo snapped her fingers in front of Lincoln. "Yo snowball?" Hekapoo continued to snap to try and get Lincoln out of his trance or whatever was happening to him. "You still in there."
"Oh no…" Lincoln let out as he put his hands to his head. "I completely forgot about their anniversary!"
"What?!" Star yelled in response. Lincoln actually forgot about this?! Now they were both without a gift!
"With all the stuff that's been happening recently it flew over my head!" Lincoln yelled as he started pulling his hair in frustration with himself. "Ugh how can I be so stupid!?"
"What are we gonna do?! What are we gonna do?!" Star then started running around in circles in a panic.
Hekapoo simply watched Star and Lincoln have their mini freak outs. It was funny at first but she supposed she should put an end to this as she quickly thought of a solution to this problem that would help calm them down. "Why not just give them a trip to Mewni or something." Hekapoo told the two of them. This did the trick as the two 14-year-olds stopped and looked at Hekapoo.
"What?" They both said in unison.
"Well think about it." Hekapoo said with a smirk as she jumped off Lincoln's bed. "You two could offer them a trip to a whole new world. Not a lot of people on this planet could offer a gift like that."
"Huh, that's actually a good idea!" Lincoln said with a renewed smile as he looked towards Hekapoo. "Thanks Hekapoo!"
"Eh, just don't want you running around like a turkey." Hekapoo answered with a shrug making the white-head deadpan at her. "As funny as it is."
"Oh my gosh! A trip to Mewni is a great idea!" Star agreed as her eyes sparkled at the idea of bringing the Loud parents to her home world. But Star then squealed as an even better idea came to her. "Hey! We can even bring your sisters to! Make it a family outing!"
"Hey that's a great idea!" Lincoln said as he punched a fist into an open palm. But soon the boy frowned as he realized something. "But wait, aren't you supposed to stay on earth? What if your parents find you?"
"Pfft, I wouldn't worry about that." Star shrugged off with wave. "My dads out of town going to some boring lecture or something, and my mom should just be in the castle the whole-time doing queen stuff. It's all good!"
"Well…if you're sure." Lincoln said as he put his hands to his hips.
"Great! Let's go tell em right now!" Before Lincoln or Hekapoo could react, Star suddenly grabbed both of their wrist and quickly pulled them out of the room and downstairs.
Downstairs, all of the Loud siblings could be seen surrounding their parents who were sitting on the couch as their children gave them presents. Leni had given her dad a custom made tie and her mother a lovely red dress, Luna had preformed her parents a song she wrote about them, Luan had preformed them a one woman performance, Lynn had gotten her parents a brand new camera since Rita's had just broken recently, Lucy had written them a poem, Lana had carved her parents a wooden statue of the two of them with it being big enough to hold in the palm of their hands, Lola had made them pageant sashes with both saying 'Worlds best Mom' and 'Worlds best dad' respectively, Lisa had upgraded their bed to have a massage feature, and finally Lily had drawn a picture of the entire family for them.
"Oh kids, these are great gifts." Rita thanked as she read the poem Lucy made for them.
"We can't thank you enough." Lynn Sr said as he ruffled Lily's hair. "Although it seems one of you is missing."
"Here we are~" Talking in a sing-song voice was Star Butterfly as she came down the stairs dragging Lincoln and Hekapoo down with her. "Sorry we're late but me and Lincoln have the perfect gift for you guys!"
"Which is my idea by the way." Hekapoo pointed out in an irritated tone as she removed her hand from Star and rubbed it. "And don't drag me around like that anymore."
"…Um…who's this?" After an awkward moment of silence along with the family staring at the girl that had a flame over her head, finally Rita asked the question on the rest of the Louds mind.
"Oh, right. I guess you all never met her." Lincoln said as he completely forgot that Hekapoo's never met the rest of his family. "Well anyway, guys, this is Hekapoo. She's the creator of all dimensional scissors."
"What up." Hekapoo greeted everyone with the wave of her hand. Some of the Louds eyes widened as they were caught off guard by the fact that this woman was apparently the creator of those strange scissors that Lincoln and Star used to travel around.
Lily was one of the ones who didn't react this way as she walked up to Hekapoo and smile. "You're so pretty!" Lily complimented as the scissor maker smiled at the little girl's compliment. "Are you Linky's girlfriend?"
This immediately caused both Lincoln and Hekapoo's faces to explode into a deep shade of red. "WHAT?! NO!" Both yelled in unison causing the 4-year-old to giggle in response.
"Are you sure bro~" Luna said with a sly tone. Lincoln quickly had a feeling of dread come over him as from this one comment, he knew that his sisters would both start teasing him about his friendship with Hekapoo and probably try to actually make them a couple. Something he's experienced for far to long. Luna then took the opportunity to look over Hekapoo and nod in approval. "She is quite the looker brah."
"Grrrr…" Lincoln growled as his face went even hotter as he stomped his foot on the ground firmly and said. "Ok, nipping this in the butt now, no! We are not a thing! We are just friends! There is absolutely nothing going on between us!"
Hekapoo was inclined to also say this and say they weren't a thing…but the part of her mind that liked messing with people took over in this situation as she gave Lincoln a flirty look and spoke in her signature teasing voice. "Are you sure~"
"No! No! No! No!" Lincoln said to the scissor maker with a very annoyed and blushing face. "Do NOT encourage them!"
"Aw come on Lincoln, don't deny it." Leni told her brother as she wrapped an arm around her brothers' shoulder. "Its totes great that you got a girl like her."
"Not its not because she's not my girl!" Lincoln yelled, now started to sound angry and pulled away from Leni. "Hekapoo is just my friend!"
"Aw come on Linc." Luan said with giving her brother a sigh look. "She does seem like a pretty hot girl! Hahaha, get it?" Luan punned as she pointed to the flame over Hekapoo's head. Hekapoo however was not amused by the pun and slapped the comedian's hand away. "Ow!"
"Lincoln and Hekapoo sitting in a tree!" Both Lana and Lola sang in unison with teasing grins on their faces. "K-i-s-s-i-n-g!"
"Grrrrrr!" Lincoln growled as Hekapoo started laughing at the white heads expense.
"First its love, and then marriage!" Star said with a grin on her face.
"Not you too Star…" Lincoln then went into fetal position as he tried to disappear from the room as some of his sister squealed at the princess's statement. He loved having so many sisters and all…but it was moments like this where he could honestly do without them.
"Alright girls lets give them some space." Rita said with a chuckle, also kinda amused at the scene. "No need to overwhelm em. We can ask them questions later.
"You're a real chip off the ole block son." Lynn Sr complimented his son, only causing Lincoln to wish he would fade of existence more. "Ahaha, kids these days."
"I am MUCH older than you." Hekapoo told Lynn Sr bluntly.
"What?" The Loud father asked with a raised brow.
"Anyway! Onto what we wanted to tell you guys!" Star said with an excited grin as Hekapoo patted Lincoln on the back reassuringly as the white head was still in fetal position on the floor. "For your anniversary, we're taking not just you, but your entire family…on a trip to Mewni!"
The entire family gasped in response as they looked at Hekapoo, Star, and Lincoln with widened eyes. "Wait, you're actually taking all of us to your home world?" Lynn asked with an excited grin on her face. "Seriously?"
"Uh, does a Warnicorn have fruit flavored teeth?" Star asked the family with a smirk. However, they only gave the girl strange looks. "The answer is yes."
"We're going to a world full of magic." Lucy said with her usual look and tone. "I'm so excited."
Star and Hekapoo saw that Lucy's expression hadn't changed one bit and she had her usual monotone and blank face. Both of them rose brows and looked to Lincoln, who was standing up again, as he pointed out. "Trust me. She's excited."
"Well MOST of us are excited at least." Lola said as she gave Lisa a side glare. "I doubt Miss doesn't believe in magic won't wanna go."
"I still stand by my beliefs." Lisa stated firmly. She refused to believe in such things like magic. There had to be some science to it and idiots just called it magic as a wall of explaining something they didn't understand. But that wasn't to say that Lisa was against a trip to Mewni. "However, I am intrigued about studying the culture of an alien world. Plus I'm sure there's some unique creatures there worth studying."
"Oh yeah totally!" Star confirmed with a smile as she listed off various creatures on Mewni. "There are Warnicorns, Squirrlicorns, mermaids, pixies, all sorts of stuff!"
"This could actually be the perfect opportunity to use my new camera!" Rita stated as she held up the camera that Lynn got her. "Gotta remember a trip like this."
"Well then its settled." Hekapoo said as she put her hands to her hips. She smirked as she knew this idea would work. So taking out her own pair of dimensional scissors, the magical being started twirling them around and said. "So if you're all ready I'll take ya there. I can even help out as your own tour guide."
"Wow really?" Luna asked with a small smile on her face at the offer.
"Yeah, not like I have much going on today. Its either that or a bunch of boring paperwork…" Hekapaoo muttered that last part so no one would hear it. "Plus, snowball here was kinda my tour guide for earth so I guess I should repay the favor. So if you're all ready I can open the portal and we-"
"Wait, before we go." Lucy was the one to speak up surprisingly as everyone looks to her. It was hard to notice, but if one looked extremely closely they could see just the faintest hint of pink on the black haired girls cheeks. "Do you think we could invite Janna to."
"Oh boy." Lincoln let out, knowing that if Janna would be coming then things were gonna get…weird. And not the normal kind of weird his family or even Star brought to the table.
"Of course Janna banana can come!" Star quickly said with a big grin on her face. She was more then happy to bring along Janna for this trip. It could just make things even better then they already were. "The more the merrier!"
"Awesome." Lucy said as the tiniest smile came to her face as she took out her phone and quickly started texting the girl.
Unaware that someone was watching them the whole time…
At Ludo's castle on Mewni, Ludo could be seen leading his new partner in crime Toffee into the breakroom where all his monster except for one were currently hanging out. "Okay, Toffee, I'm going to show you what we're working with here." Ludo said as he and Toffee walked into the breakroom and saw the two headed monster and frill-neck monster having a dance battle. But as this was happening the fly monster stuck a 'KICK ME' sign on the frill-neck monster's back.
A big buff lizard-like monster that had a human-like left arm proceeded to do what the sign said and kicked the frill-neck monster, sending him crashing into the two headed head monster. One thing led to another and all of the monsters started punching and kicking each other. "Guess I'm doomed, huh?" Ludo said while face palming at his monsters. "Be honest. I can't handle it."
Just then a portal opened up next to Ludo and Toffee and out from it came Buff Frog who quickly saluted his master before speaking. "Ludo, master. The girl is taking the large human family and strange white skinned girl to Mewni." Buff Frog informed his master of what he had witnessed while spying on the Loud House.
"Interrupting!" Ludo snapped at Buff Frog, not really paying attention to what his master spy had to say. "Well, Toffee? Give it to me straight. Are my monsters the worst ever or what?"
"Uh…" Toffee let out as he witnessed a boar-like monster get the frill-neck monster stuck in his nose. Toffee, who actually heard what Buff-Frog said, looked to the frog monster and said. "You said the princess was talking a group of humans to Mewni?"
"Yes…" Buff Frog said as he narrowed his eyes at Toffee. Ever since yesterday Buff Frog had a weird feeling in his gut about Toffee. Something about this guy…wasn't right. And that missing finger was ominous and seemed to bring with a dark feeling. "She is taking the family's she's been staying with on a tour of Mewni."
"Interesting. This could be an opportunity for us." Toffee explained as he crossed his arms behind his back.
"Yes! Yes! You're right!" Ludo quickly agreed as a smile came to his beak. "While she's distracted showing those humans around, we swipe the wand!"
"No." Toffee instantly shot down the idea causing Ludo's beak to drop a bit. "We use the opportunity to gather intel."
"In-what?" Ludo asked in a confused tone.
"We spy on them during their little…trip." Toffee explained to Ludo with his usual professional tone. "We can use this opportunity to observe them and gain information. Weakness's, relationships, things we can use to out advantage in the future."
"But…why not just get the wand now and save the time?" Ludo asked, obviously just wanting to get the wand as fast as possible. The quicker the better after all.
"Come things come to those who wait Ludo." Toffee countered, surprising Ludo a bit. "The best schemes come from watching, planning, strategizing, and moving all the pieces into the right places."
"Very well then." Buff Frog said as she cracked his neck. "I will go out immediately and spy on Loud family."
"There's no need for that." Toffee immediately said afterward as he put a hand on Buff Frog's shoulder. This ended up surprising the amphibian monster and Toffee's touch was chilling to the bone so Buff Frog quickly backed away from the suit wearing lizard. "Me and Ludo will do this ourselves."
"But…I am master spy!" Buff Frog stated while glaring at Toffee.
"And that's very great." Toffee said in a bored tone as he patted Ludo in the back of the head to get him to move forward. "Come on Ludo, we have a job to do."
"Ok!" Ludo said as he looked at Toffee with sparkling eyes. Buff Frog meanwhile glared at the back of Toffee's head as he and his boss left.
"WELCOME TO MEWNI!"
With a wide grin, Star welcome the entire Loud family, as well as Janna who had accepted Lucy's invitation, to her home land. The group of 15 now all stood in one of the Mewman villages which looked rather old timey and resembled the villagers from medieval times as seen by the people's clothing and the tools they were using. It also had the distinct smell of corn coming from all over.
Some of the Louds as well as Janna had back backs on containing some food and water bottles, as well as to put stuff they might wanna buy it. Rita had her new camera over her neck, and Luna had brought her signature purple guitar.
"Is this where you grew up Star?" Rita asked as she took some pictures of the surrounding area.
"No." Star said with a grin before pointing up. "I live there."
Looking up, the group saw a stone castle tower over the town. "Could use a few stone gargoyles." Janna commented as the Louds looked up in aw.
"Higher~" Star said as she pointed past the castle.
"Dude…" Luna let out as the family looked to be what seemed like a palace.
"Higher!" Star said as she pointed as higher as she could.
Nearly everyone was speechless as they looked as high as they could and saw, towering over everything else, was the royal palace of Mewni. Where the king and queen lived and where Star grew up. Lola looked up at the royal palace with stars in her eyes as she quickly started running around Star and asking. "Can we go there! Please! Please! Please! Please!" Lola practically begged, which was a rare sight for the family.
"Uh…" Star let out nervously. She couldn't take Lola to the palace. She would get caught by pretty much any of the staff or guards there who would report it to her parents and she would end up in huge trouble. "Well you see…the thing is…"
"Sorry, no can do." Speaking up and denying Lola's request was Hekapoo who pointed to the palace with her thumb. "Queen's having an important meeting today. Palace is closed to the public when that happens. Maybe some other time kid." Star looked to Hekapoo with a confused look, but smiled once the magical being gave her a wink. Hekapoo for the save.
"Ah man…" Lola groaned as she crossed her arms. She wanted to see the castle!
"Sorry Lola, next time ok." Lincoln reassured his little sister.
"Yeeeeeah…totally." Star nervously said before shaking her head to get herself together before gesturing to the town around. "Besides, you don't wanna see all that lame, cheesy, touisty stuff. What you want is the real Mewni experience!"
Looking around the town, the Louds and Janna saw that the real Mewni experience was…pretty dirty. People wearing old rags for cloths, strange goat pig hybrids roaming the streets, and strange stands selling rather…odd items. "Pickled giants toe for sale!" A mewman running a stand yelled as he held up a jar containing a giant severed toe.
"Sweet." Janna said as she walked over to the stand while most of the Louds flinch or groaned in disgust.
"I rather see the castle…" Lola quickly said only to be met with a scolding look from Rita.
"Lola Loud, Star was kind enough to offer us this trip and Hekapoo was kinda enough to be our guide." Rita told her pretty pink 9-year-old girl. "Besides, you can't judge a book by its cover."
"She's right." Hekapoo confirmed as she put her hands on her hips. "Sure, some parts are gross but you just gotta know where to Look."
"Hey guys, check it out." Janna got everyone's attention as she walked back up to the group…with a pickled giant toe in her arms. "Got a sweet deal on this."
"You…actually bought that?" Lincoln asked as he and a few others in the group looked disgusted at the item in Janna's hands. Especially when she opened up the lid.
"You guys wanna smell it?" Janna offered as she held the open jar out, only for the Louds other then Lucy to quickly cover their nose and back away. "Hehe, light weights." Janna then closed up the jar and stuffed it into her backpack before looking to Lucy. "Hey Luce, I think I saw a guy selling shrunken heads or whatever. Wanna do check it out?"
"Sure." Lucy was quick to agree as she watched next to Janna's side and the two proceeded to walk to where Star knew was the open-air market.
"Girls wait." Lynn Sr called out to them before turning to Hekapoo. "Should we all stick together in a group?"
"Relax dude they'll be fine." Hekapoo shrugged off the father's question. "The mewmans here are…kinda wimps. If anything, they should be scared of those two given how creepy they are. No offense."
"None taken." All the Loud said in unison as they fully agreed that both Lucy and Janna certainly had a…vibe to them.
Just then Leni gained a sly smile as she took the opportunity to go next to Hekapoo and leaned down to the scissor makers ear. "Ya know, Lincoln is great with kids." Leni told Hekapoo making her raise an eyebrow. "He used to help watch Lily all the time when she was a baby."
"Um, ok?" Hekapoo said as she took a step back from Leni.
"Just something to keep in mind~" Leni said before walking away from Hekapoo.
Hekapoo gave Leni a strange look before shaking it off and looking towards the remaining members of the group. "Alright everyone, here's how this is gonna go." Hekapoo got everyone's attention as the Louds and Star looked to her. "You have two options, you can either go off and explore on your own, or you can follow me and Star and see the sights. What are you gonna do?"
"I think I wanna go check out the plaza." Luna said as she played a few strums of her guitar. "The plaza's always got dudes preforming in it and I wanna hear some sick Mewni tunes!"
"Ooo! I'll come along!" Luan said as she joined her roommates' side. "I wanna show Mewni the comedic style of Luan Loud!"
"Plaza's that way!" Star pointed the two girls in the direction to where this villages plaza would be located as Star has been there a few times before.
Luna and Luan quickly went in that direction as Lisa walked up to Hekapoo. "Excuse me, but where might I find some of this planets specimen so I may observe and collect data on them?"
"…Excuse me?" Hekapoo asked with a raised brow.
Lisa deadpanned in response as she bluntly said. "Where can I find animals?"
"Oh, there's a forest to the west that'll have what you're looking for." Hekapoo stated as she pointed her thumb in the direction of the forest. "Unicorns, fairies, and all the junk."
"Unicorns and fairys?!" Lola asked as her eyes sparkled when she heard the name of the creatures that could be found here. The pageant princess then grabbed her genius sister's wrist and quickly started running towards the forest. "Let's go!"
Just then Hekapoo felt someone tugging at her dress and looked down to see Lily look up at her. "Is there a playground around here?" The youngest Loud asked.
"You better you cute little cheeks there is!" Star was the one to answer Lily's question as she pinched the 4-year-olds cheeks, making Lily giggle, as Star pointed in another direction. "There's a place over there where lots of Mewman children play!"
"I'll take her there!" Leni offered as she grabbed Lily's hand. "Who knows, maybe I'll see what kind of fashion trends are here on Mewni!"
"Prepare to be surprised." Hekapoo muttered as she knew that the Mewman fashion sense hasn't changed all that much other than with the royals in the last 800 years. In which case most of the mewmans fashion consisted of peasant wear.
"You wanna go see what kinda stuff the people here do for fun?" Lynn whispered to Lana who gave an eager smile in response.
"You bet I do!" Lana agreed as the remaining group watched as the two remaining sisters simply took off in a random direction.
"Well…I guess its just us then." Rita said as now the group consisted of Rita, Lynn Sr, Lincoln, Star, and Hekapoo. "Well at least it'll be easier to manage."
"Yeah! And don't worry they're gonna have tons of fun!" Star reassured the parents as she wrapped her arms around Lynn Sr and Rita. "And that just means that you two get to enjoy more of Mewni's best spots to yourselves!"
"Yeah, and I won't lie kinda curious to see what this place is all about." Lincoln admitted as he was kinda surprised at himself for not asking Star more questions about Mewni and its history. The Loud boy then turned to Hekapoo and said. "Lead the way."
"Gladly snowball." Hekapoo said with a smirk before gesturing the four to follow her. "Come on, I'll show you some of the historical locations around here."
The Loud parents, Lincoln, and Star all happily followed the scissors maker, eager to start the tour. However, Star ending up looking into an alleyway they passed, Star gasped in horror as she saw one of the two people she was praying she wouldn't see today. Her father. "My dad!" Star quietly yelled as she watched her father purchasing a spear from a booth. Star quickly ran forward pass the ally before River could see her and quickly pulled Lincoln away behind a bench.
"Star, what's wrong?" Lincoln asked as Star frantically looked around to see if anyone was watching her listening to them.
"I saw my dad!" Star said as Lincoln's eyes widened at the news.
"Your dad?!" Lincoln quietly yelled. "I thought you said he was at a meeting.
"That's what he told me!" Star said, remembering the conversation she had with her parents earlier today. Just then Lincoln witness as Star began to glow purple as her breathing got more rapid. "But if he sees me here my parents are going kill me!"
"Ok, Star, Star, Star, calm down!" Lincoln said, not bring up that Star was in her purple state right now as that would only make her freak out more. Thankfully he got Star to do the breathing exercise's he thought her and got Star to calm down at turn back to normal. "Look, I have an idea ok. Just relax, he's not gonna know you're here."
"Ok…ok. I'm good, all good." Star reassured both Lincoln and herself as she made a smile come to her face. "So what's your plan?"
"Let me talk with Hekapoo." Lincoln said as both he and Star emerged from behind the bench. They watched as Hekapoo was currently showing the parents a fountain that looked like time really did it in, with a state on top of it of what seemed like a woman, but he couldn't quite make out any specific details due to the cracks and deformation time had on it.
Lincoln then walked up to Hekapoo and whispered into her ear. "Hey, I was wondering, know any super-secret spots you can show us?" Lincoln asked as Hekapoo raised a brow. "Something really out of the way and could show us a lot about Mewman history."
Hekapoo was silent at first…but then smirked and nodded. "Alright everyone…follow me." Hekapoo said as she started walking forward.
"What are you gonna show us next?" Rita asked as so far she was rather enjoying the tour.
"Something not a lot of people here have the honor of seeing." Hekapoo vaguely stated. "So count yourselves lucky your son is a friend of mine."
"Hekapoo is with them…interesting." Unaware to any of the Louds, Janna, Star, or Hekapoo, was aware of was that the second they arrived on Mewni, they were being watched the whole time in the distance be none other then Toffee and Ludo. The former of which had a very interested look towards the scissor maker. "Very interesting."
"Heka-who?" Ludo asked with a confused tone.
"The creator of all dimensional scissors." Toffee stated as he wrote something down in a note pad. "And she seems to have some sort of connection to that discolored human. We can use this."
"Uh-huh, uh-huh." Ludo nodded. "So when do we get the wand?"
"After we collect data." Toffee said he opened up a portal with Ludo's dimensional scissors. "Come, we still have to watch the others as well."
"This place is so cool." With Lucy and Janna, the two currently had piles of rather…interesting items. From shrunken heads of different speices, to dusty looking books and scrolls, and some stuff that I'm probably not allow to explain in detail.
"I know right." Janna agreed as she looked at the stuff in her hands. The teens eyes then came across an indoor shop that seemed to have a few goods in them. "Let's check out this place."
"Sounds good." Lucy agreed as both lover of the dark arts entered the shop with the ringing of the bell. The owner was a bald man with tanned skin. He didn't seem to notice the girls popping in as Janna and Lucy took a look around the place.
Needless to say…they were left unimpressed. "Aw man, this place is full of junk." Janna said as the store seemed to be filled with nothing but cheap fake knickknacks.
Lucy then came up to the front desk with Janna close behind as the black haired Loud spoke up. "Hello sir." The 11-year-old spoke up.
"AAAAAAAHHH!" The shop owner screamed as, in typical Lucy Loud fashion, the black-haired girl frightened him due to seemingly coming out of nowhere. "Where'd you two come from!?"
"Uh, the front door." Janna said with a grin, proud of her smart aleck answer as the shop owner narrowed his eyes at Janna. "We were just wondering if you had any stuff that isn't lame junk."
"What's you see is what you get." The shop owner said an irritated tone as he gestured his hand over to his shop.
"What about that behind you." Lucy asked as she pointed behind the shop owner. Lucy, Janna, and the shop owners' eyes all feel onto a black demonic looking book that had a dark aura around it.
"Sweeeeeet." Janna let out as her eyes were glued to the obviously cursed book. "How much for it?"
"Oh you two don't want that book." The book owner told them as he put on a pair of gloves before lifting up the book. "This here item is straight from the underworld. Legend has it that mysterious demon of darkness chanted his most vile spells into this book for thirty whole years. After that he bathed it in the blood of the smitten before casting dark lighting onto it. And to finish it off, he committed the vilest act of all that truly turned this book into an item of evil…he smacked a puppy with it!"
Suddenly thunder was heard despite it being broad daylight outside. Lucy and Janna looked at each other before the black haired Loud took out some money and handed it to the shop owner. "We'll give you fifty bucks for it." The 11-year-old offered.
The shop owner eyed the money before grinning and taking the cash and handing the girl the book. "Deal!" The shop owner said as he counted the money and Lucy and Janna grinned at each other before walking away. But the shop owners' eyes then widened as he looked back at the two girls. "Hold on there." He said with narrowed eyes as the two stopped and looked back at him. "Buying a bunch of strange, creepy, and cursed items. Appearing outta nowhere. Mysterious vibe…are you two some kind of witches?"
Both Lucy and Janna were silent as they looked at each other before looking back at the shop owner. "Yes. Yes we are." Both said in unison before leaving the shop.
"…Welp, time to round up a mob." The shop owner then pulled out and ignited a torch.
"Man…this place is a bummer." Currently with Luan and Luna, the two had made it to the plaza of the village and needless to say…it was a bummer just like Luna said. No one was preforming. The mewmans there were just sitting around doing nothing. Just being…boring.
"Yeah, I don't even have a joke to make about this." Luan commented as the sight was so boring she had no jokes to make…at least for now. "But I think we can liven things up a bit." Luan then leaned over to her roommates ear and whispered something to her.
"Great idea sis!" Luna quickly agreed as she reached into her backpack and handed Luan a microphone. "You get them started up while I prep up my axe!"
"Sounds good sis!" Luan said as she took the mic from Luna's hand and quickly ran over to the middle of the plaza where there was a little stone podium that she was able to climb on top of and become the literal center of attention. The comedian then switched on the battery powered microphone and spoke into. "Good even ladies and gentlemewman! Luan Loud here to give ya something to laugh about!"
Luan's introduction did get some Mewmnas to look up at her, but some still simply lazed around not reacting. "So I heard you guys love corn!" Some mutters in the crowd confirmed this statement. "Well did you hear about the corn who wanted to get a date? He walked over to the female corn and said, do you come ear often?"
"…I get it!" One of the mewmans said followed by a laugh as she got more mewmans attention.
Luan mentally cheered for herself. It was working! "Well I hope you all stick around!" Luan said with her usual joking grin. "Because they will shuck and a-maize you!"
"Hehehe…" More laughs were heard as some of the Mewmans gathered around Luan and looked up at her.
"Hey, what did you mama corn say to her plump son?" Luan asked with a grin.
"What?" A few of the Mewmans asked.
"You're not fat! Just a little husky! Hahahaha!" Luan's laughter seemed to be infectious with the Mewmans as they all started to smile and laugh at the girl's corn puns.
"Ya know, I always thought corn mazes were fun and all, but whenever I go through them, I feel like I'm being stalked!" And that's how it went for the next 15 minutes. Luan telling corn pun, after corn puns causing the Mewmans to smile and laugh hard. Even some Mewmans who weren't originally in the plaza had overheard the jokes and came to listen.
"Alright Mewmans, I'm afraid that's all the time I have for today!" Luan announced once she was finished. The Mewmans were of course sadden at the fact, but Luan quickly reassured them by saying, "But don't worry because the act ain't over yet! May I introduce, the musical stylings of my older sister…Luna Loud!"
Luan then jumped off the little stone podium she was on to reveal Luna behind her wielding her purple guitar. A few of the Mewmans look confused as Luna just stood there, but Luan then threw the microphone to her sister who expertly caught. Reaching behind her, Luna pulled out a stand for the microphone as she put the microphone on it…and started singing.
Luna:
I don't know what to do without you
I don't know where to put my hands
I've been trying to lay my head down
But I'm writing this at 3am
As Luna sang, the smiles soon returned to the Mewmans as they found themselves instinctively banging their heads and tapping their toes to the music.
Luna:
I don't need the world to see
That I've been the best I can be, but
I don't think I could stand to be
Where you don't see me
On sunny days I go out walking
I end up on a tree-lined street
I look up at the gaps of sunlight
I miss you more than anything
I don't need the world to see
That I've been the best I can be, but
I don't think I could stand to be
Where you don't see me
Even more Mewmans showed up due to the music as the plaza was packed with more Mewmans then ever before as they were all now cheering and clapping. Encouraging Luna to keep going on with her song.
Luna:
And autumn comes when you're not yet done
With the summer passing by, but
I don't think I could stand to be
Where you don't see me
Luna then finished up by doing the splits on strange and making one last shred to her axe. All the Mewmans present cheered louder then before as they all chanted. "One more song! One more song! One more song!"
"Well you heard them sis!" Luan called out to her sister with a big grin.
"I believe I do!" Luna said with a grin as she got back up and readied her purple axe. "Alright Mewni! This one's for you!"
"Aaaaaw, she's playing tag." Leni was currently sitting on a bench watching as her little sister Lily played tag with a group of Mewman boys and girls her age and they all seemed to be having fun based on the laughter the ditzy blond saw and heard.
"So, which one is yours?" Sitting next to Leni was a Mewman women with dark skin wearing a purple dress that look liked it had seen better days.
"Oh, that one. But she's just my little sister." Leni told the women next to her as the Mewman lady nodded in understanding. "Hi, I'm Leni Loud."
"Isabella." The women introduced herself as she shook Leni's hand.
"O-M-Gosh! That dress is totes cute on you." Leni complimented as she looked at what the woman was wearing. "Purple is definitely your color…although…its, like, got some rips in it."
"Why thank you dearie, its my favorite." Isabella thanked Leni for the compliment before looking over the rips Leni pointed out. "And I suppose time and work had done it in a bit…"
"Oh don't worry! I'll fix it for you!" Leni offered as she reached into her pocket and pulled out her mini-emergency knitting kit. "Stay still this'll only take a second."
"Oh you don't need to go through the trouble Leni." Isabella told the girl, not wanting to inconvenience the girl sitting next to her.
"Oh its no problem! I love doing this sorta thing!" Leni reassured the woman as she continued sewing the biggest and most obvious rip in the dress. And in only one minute, the rip was completely fixed. "There! All done!"
"Wow! It looks…so good!" Isabella said as she looked at the fixed area of her dress. "Ya know as weird as it sounds most of the people around here aren't great at knitting and stuff like that. Most of the time cloths are made in the castle and are sold to us by professionals. We've never had to learn it for ourselves."
"Well I can teach you if you want." Leni offered as she held a needle out to Isabella. "I got time to spare."
"Well…" Isabella said as she glanced around before taking the needle. "I guess it wouldn't hurt to know the basics."
"Um, Hekapoo where are we going exactly?" Lynn Sr asked as he, Rita, Star, Lincoln, and Hekapoo all walked out into an empty field a little bit away from the village. Thankfully they had avoided any encounters with River much to Star's relief.
"Like I said, this place is pretty out of the way." Hekapoo stated as she stopped and turned around to face everyone. "Most people around these parts don't even know about this. So like I said, consider yourselves lucky."
"So, where is it exactly?" Rita asked with the tilt of her head.
"Right here." Hekapoo stated as she gestured to the field around them. The four in front of her looked around and only saw an empty field. Before any of them could question Hekapoo, suddenly the magical being pulled out what looked like a scissor dagger and proceeded to stab them into the ground.
The ground then started to shake a bit, not enough to knock anyone off their feet, but enough for them to feel it and to try and keep their balance. Before their very eyes a stone entrance rose up from the ground. The door on the front it having the royal symbol of Mewni. "Wooooooah…" The four in front of Hekapoo let out as they saw the entrance appear.
"Do you know what that is?" Lincoln whispered to Star.
"No. No clue." Star stated, surprising Lincoln a bit.
"Like I said, this place is super duper secret." Hekapoo said while looking at Star. "And thanks to me princess, you'll be seeing it sooner then you originally were supposed to."
"Um, are you sure it's alright for us to be going inside then?" Rita asked with an unsure tone and look. "If its supposed to be private…"
"Just chill out would ya." Hekapoo said with an eyeroll as she leaned on the entrance. "It's honestly not that big of a deal. Just don't touch anything." Hekapoo then walked in front of the stone door and knocked a rhythm on it a few times. The stone door then lowered revealing a stair case going down. "After you."
Rita, Lynn Sr, Lincoln, and Star looked at each other for a moment before they all started to head down the stairs with Hekapoo following in the back. After five whole minutes of walking down the stairs, they all met with a pitch-black room. The only thing that could be seen was Hekapoo's flame. "Um, I can't see anything." Lynn Sr stated, not even able to see his hand in front of his face.
"Hold on give me a sec." Hekapoo told the Loud father. Everyone then heard Hekapoo clapping and a second after that, magic lights from the ceiling started lighting up. The room was soon completely brightened up with the three Louds and the princess seeing the room was completely enormous, thousands of times bigger than the Louds entire house. And in this room were many statues off…
"My…ancestors…" Star muttered as she glanced over the room full of statues. Each piece of carved stone being a statue of a past queen of Mewni. There were some Star could remember like her grandmother Comet Butterfly who had butterfly shaped cheek marks, her four times great grandmother Crescenta Butterfly who had bunny shaped cheek marks and many others.
"Yep, this special little room has statues of all past queens of Mewni." Hekapoo stated as she gestured her hand forward. "Kinda like the tapestry room just, ya know, stone."
"Wow…this is amazing." Rita said as she looked over the statues of the powerful women that used to rule over Mewni. "To think each woman here once ruled over this place."
"It is quite the sight." Lynn Sr stated as he walked up to one of the statues and read some writing that was on a plaque at the base of the statue. "Solaria Butterfly, A castle stormed is a hero born with might as strong as steel. Kneels the void before her and the crushing force she wields. With a blade at hand, she takes to the field. Spilling monster blood forcing them to yield." Lynn Sr then looked up at the statue itself and saw it was a woman wearing an outfit that seemed to be a mix of a warrior's armor and queen wear with her hair in a long-braided ponytail, wielding a large blade and raising it to the sky. "Seems like the aggressive type huh."
"You have no idea." Hekapoo stated.
"Oh, come look at this one." Rita said as she snapped a photo of a queen wearing a dress that reminded her of a Disney princess with hour glasses for cheeks and holding a wand that had a clock on the front of it. The Loud mother then read from the plague of this statue. "Ticktock, the clock talks, but secret are its powers. The only one to break its spell is Skywynne, Queen of Hours. Lost the book to dragon fire. Created a time loop to regain her castle when her people's hopes were dire."
"Oh yeah, my mom told me about that one time." Star stated as everyone looked to her. "It was said that a dragon came and burned down Butterfly Castle along with the original book of magic spells. So she made her own book and created a magic time loop thingy to rebuild the castle in a day."
"If I remember correctly it was a white dragon." Hekapoo said, trying to recall the event during Skywynne's reign as queen.
"White dragon huh?" Lincoln muttered as he walked through the giant room of statues. He swore some of Star's ancestor's eyes were following him. "This is crazy…" Snapping Lincoln out of his thought was a statue he ended up lightly running into. Looking up, his eyes slightly widen as he looked to see a statue of a women with practically her entire body covered in long and slightly oversized clothing, lots of hair with it covering most of the woman's face, completely covering her forehead and left eye, and holding a fan and covering the bottom of her face.
Lincoln looked into the statue's visible eye, blinking a few times as a weird feeling came to him as he looked at the woman. He then eventually moved his eyes down to the plague on the base of the statue and read from it.
"Celena the Shy." Lincoln read, remembering the name from when he first met Glossaryck. Talk about a coincidence. "What hides behind the golden fan the hand does sweetly hold? A trove of cosmic secrets that never will be told. A queen whose beauty knew no bounds. But a shy face hid from those around. For many tried to claim her heart. But love already claimed by her orange prince, for which she had to part."
"Hmm…" Lincoln hummed in deep thought after reading the plague. "Orange prince?"
"Whatcha reading there Lincoln?" Coming up to Lincoln was Star as she noticed Lincoln staring at the plague.
"Just someone called Celena the Shy." Lincoln said as he and Star looked up at the statue.
"Oh! Great-Great-Grandma Shy!" Star said with a smile as she waved at the statue. "Hi Granny!"
"Hey, any chance you know anything about this orange prince?" Lincoln asked as he pointed to the words on the plague. "I don't know why but…it just resonates with me for some reason."
"Probably because you're mister orange yourself." Star giggled as she tugged at Lincoln's jacket a bit. "But nope. No clue." Star then looked around the room a bit until she finally saw Hekapoo leaning on the wall. "Yo Hekapoo get over here!"
Hekapoo did as Star asked and walked up to the two teenagers and asked. "What's up?"
"Whats this biz all about?" Star asked while repeatedly pointing to the plaque.
"Hmmm…" Hekapoo hummed as she took the chance to look over the plague herself. "Well as her name implies she was a pretty shy girl, never really opened up to anyone other then her parents and Glossaryck. But there was one guy however she actually opened up to, the only guy other then her father actually so naturally she fell in love. But due to circumstances they couldn't be together."
"Aaaaww." Star let out with sympathy over the story. "Poor great-great-granny."
"Yeah…that's to bad…" Lincoln said as he looked back up at the statue of Celena with a frown.
"I think I met the guy before." Hekapoo stated with a shrug. "Not really to sure on the exact details."
"Hmmm." Lincoln lightly hummed. "Well I hope she still had a happy life."
"Aw, look at you." Star gushed at the Loud boy while rapidly poking his left arm. "Being concerned over dead people."
"Eh, guess I can't help it ya know." Lincoln tried to form his thoughts and feelings of the odd situation into words. "I can't explain it but when I look at her...I guess I just can't up but feel some sort of connection. I know it sounds weird but I just can't seem to put a finger on it."
"Eh, I've heard weirder." Hekapoo said as she poked Lincoln on the cheek. "Now come on, the tour ain't over yet!"
And over it wasn't. For the next four hours each of the Louds continued doing their own things around Mewni and having a blast doing it. Lily continuing to play with the Mewman children, Lucy and Janna bought more weird creepy stuff, Luan and Luna kept entertaining the Mewmans, and with Leni, as she continued showing Isabella how to sew, more Mewman women ended up gathering around and getting lessons.
And of course, Star and Hekapoo continued showing Lincoln, Rita, and Lynn Sr around Mewni and showing them various pieces of history. All the while never running into Star's dad again thankfully.
But eventually the day had to come to an end and most of the Louds were reunited back in the spot where they first came to Mewni. Lily looked up at Lucy and Janna and saw all the weird stuff they had and asked. "Is all that cursed?"
"They better be." Janna said with a smirk. "We want our monies worth."
Just then Luna looked down to see Lisa and Lola, both of which covered in dirt with branches and leaves in their hair. "Woah, what happened to you dudes?" Luna asked with Lola looking super angry and Lisa looking down in shame.
"I don't. Want. To talk about it." Lola said through her teeth before glaring at Lisa. "But just know that because of a certain 'woman of science' I lost out on bringing home a unicorn!"
"Yeesh." Luna said as she backed away from the two. "Staying out of that."
"Ok, we got everyone?" Hekapoo asked as she twirled her scissors around. "Then let's get outta-"
"Oh wait, before we go I gotta use the bathroom." Rita quickly said as she put her legs together. "I know we can just portal home but I really gotta go and don't wanna risk it."
"Alright." Hekapoo shrugged before pointing behind her. "There's a bathroom a little bit that way. Warning though, quite different from earth bathrooms."
"I'll take anything! Be right back!" Rita then quickly took of running in the direction Hekapoo pointed at. She only had to run for a minute, but far enough to where she couldn't see her family and saw a stall that looked like an outhouse. And once she entered. "Oh…it's a hole."
After a few minutes of doing business she dare not repeat, Rita stepped out of the stall promising herself to never speak of it again. But before she could move forward…
"Hello their ma'am." Rita attention was brought to a figure right next to her.
Toffee.
"Uh, hello sir." Rita greeted the lizard man awkwardly. "May I help you?"
"I just seemed to notice you're not from around town. Visiting for a bit?" Toffee asked in his usual professional tone. In the monster's hands was a rather nice vase filled with beautiful blue flowers. Rita nodded confirming his statement as Toffee held out the flowers and vase. "Then please, as a way to remember your trip."
"Oh thank you. They are lovely." Rita said as she took the flowers. "But…I don't have my purse with me."
"Oh there's no charge." Toffee told the Loud mother. "Think of it like a gift from Mewni. Those flowers are special as well. They only bloom once a year. Special flowers for a special lady such as yourself."
"Oh, well when you put it that way." Rita said in a flattered tone and some pink on her cheeks. "Thank you very much sir."
"You enjoy your day." Toffee said before he and Rita started walking away.
"What was that?" Popping his head out of a bush next to Toffee was Ludo who was looking rather agitated. "All you did was give her flowers!"
"Oh did I?" Toffee said with a bit of confidence in his voice.
"…Yes!" Ludo yelled. "I just saw you!"
"Oh trust me Ludo, those were more then flowers." Toffee informed with a raise brow. "There's a little something hidden inside so that we can spy on that family 24/7"
"Woah! Really?" Ludo asked with sparkles in his eyes.
"Let's head back to the castle." Toffee told Ludo as he took a pair of dimensional scissors. "I'll show you there."
Back with Rita, she approached her family with a smile on her face. Some of them looked confused as to why she had flowers, but just assumed she had bought them on the way back. But before Hekapoo could open the portal home, Lincoln quickly spoke up. "Hold on…" Lincoln then counted each of his sisters…and saw two were missing. "Where's Lana and Lynn?"
Everyone then started looking around and saw that both tomboys of the Loud family were indeed not present. "Uh…where are they?" Luan asked with a concerned tone.
"Don't look at me." Hekapoo said with a shrug. "I was a tour guide, not a baby sitter."
"If I may." Lisa finally spoke up as she pulled out a small tablet from lab coat. "I believe I should be able to find them with the tracking chips I put into them." All the Loud family narrowed their eyes at Lisa as they remembered how she put trackers into their necks. "Don't give me that look. It was rather useful multiple times." Lisa then pressed a few buttons on her tablet. "They should be in…that direction."
Everyone looked to where Lisa was pointing and saw rather ominous looking forest that didn't exactly look friendly. "Welp…there dead." Hekapoo said bluntly.
"WHAT?!" The Loud family all yelled.
"I'm…sure its not that bad." Lincoln said nervously only for Hekapoo to tug at his jacket and point him towards a sign that pointed in the direction of the forest.
Forest of Certain Death.
"Oooooooh…" Lincoln slowly let out.
"WHY WOULD THEY GO THERE?!" Lynn Sr yelled in panic that two of his girls were in a place with Certain Death in the name.
"Its Lana and Lynn…" Lucy said bluntly.
"Ok, here's the plan." Star quickly said to try and calm the family down. "Me and Lincoln will go in and get them. Hekapoo, take them back to earth. Lincoln still has his scissors on him so we'll meet you there."
"Alright!" Lincoln quickly agreed as he and Star took off running before any of his family could object. "We'll be back H-Poo!"
"I TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME THAT!" Hekapoo yelled angrily as she saw Lincoln and Star run off. Once they were out of sight, the scissor maker huffed and crossed her arms. "Just don't die dum-dum…"
Lincoln and Star found it was called the Forest of Certain Death. Dangerous creatures and deadly plants were all over. Thankfully between Star's wand and Lincoln's fire and ice they were able to defend themselves well. All the while calling out to Lana and Lynn.
"Come on! Don't let it get away!"
"Relax Lana I'll get it!"
"Wait…did you hear that?" Star asked as she cupped a hand around her ear.
"Lana and Lynn!" Lincoln said as he pointed in the direction of where the voices came from. "That way! Let's go!"
The two 14-year-olds then took off running as fast as they could towards the source of the two voice of Lincoln's sister. But soon they came across the entrance to a cave. An entrance shaped like a skull with an eerie red light come out of it.
"Hey! I think I got it!"
Both 14-year-olds deadpan as they heard Lana's voice echo out of the cave. "Of course…" Lincoln sighed out.
"Guess we better head in." Star said as she lite her wand up like a flash light as the two took each other's hands for reassurance and started to walk into the cave. Once inside, they saw piles of bones all over the cave.
The two quickly started looking around for Lincoln's sisters so they could grab them and get the heck outta hear. Thankfully they didn't have to look long as they gasped and smiled as they saw none other then both Lana and Lynn walk out from behind a rock with Lana carrying a sparkly blue lizard.
"Thanks for helping me catch this Lynn." Lana said as she looked over the lizard. "I'm gonna call you rex!"
"Eh, no prob." Lynn told her younger sister. "This place is pretty creepy looking huh?"
"Lana! Lynn!" Suddenly both tomboys' attention were bought forward as they saw Lincoln and Star running up to them. "What are you two doing here?!" Lincoln quietly yelled.
"Oh hey Lincoln! Hey Star!" Lana greeted them with a wave as she held the lizard in her hands up. "Me and Lynn were just walking around. Then I spot this lizard and chased after it."
"Why would you run into a place called the forest of certain death?!" Star questioned them as not even she would be crazy enough to run blindly into this place. And that's saying something.
"Is that what this place is called?" Lynn asked before smirking and crossing her arms. "Well I think they're overselling it because me and Lana have been here for a while and we are perfectly fine."
Grrrrr…
Everyone froze. A loud growling sound was heard that shook the entire cave. "Lana…please tell me that was your stomach?" Star asked with a wince with Lana slowly shaking her head.
Thump…thump…thump…
Everyone looked forward as loud footsteps were heard that shook the cave. Emerging from the shadows was a giant blue hydra with 7 heads all looking down at the three humans and one Mewman. Or as the Hydra would call em, prey.
"…We should run." Lincoln said as the hydra roared and took off after the group of four with them quickly running away. As they ran Star and Lincoln fired their own attacks at the hydra. But all they did were slow it down as the group continued to run.
However…
"A dead end?!" Lynn yelled as she and the others approached a wall in the cave. They could only watched as the Hydra approached them and rear back all seven of its heads, getting ready to breath fire.
Star looked to the Louds next to her and saw Lynn and Lana looking up in fear of the Hydra. Even Lincoln was shaking as he was readying his ice arm to try and defend. Star soon found herself fearing for the life of the family she held dear to her as she suddenly held her arms out and-
"STOP!"
Suddenly a massive purple light erupted out of Star's body.
Star was…rather surprised to find she was still alive. Its been a few seconds and the Hydra still hasn't unleashed its fire breath yet and something overall seemed…off.
Star peaked her eyes open and saw she was glowing purple again. "Oh no not again!" Star said as she looked over her discolored body. "Lincoln its happening a…Lincoln?" When Star looked at Lincoln, he saw that him as well as Lana and Lynn frozen. Or more accurate, slowed down. "What the?" Star then looked to the Hydra and saw it was also in a similar state.
It was as if time was slowed down for Star. "Hmmm…I wonder?" Star then forgot her previous worries over this purple state of hers and quickly went to her friend's aid. Picking up Lincoln, Lynn, and Lana, finding the task to be easier than she thought it would be, and proceeded to walk past the Hydra and put them down at a safe location. "There ya go!" Over due to the affects of the purple effect right now, the way Star let go off the three Louds ended up practically floating in the air. Star then promptly pushed them down to the ground. "There ya go!"
Time was still slowed down. Star then grinned as she got an idea. Taking out her wand, she twirled it a bit before aiming it at the hydra. "Alright bud, you gotta go down!" Star's wand then glowed. But instead of its usual pink color, the wand cackled with magic electricity as it glowed purple similar to Star. "Thermo Nuclear Butterfly Blast!"
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Star…was not expecting that big of a blast. The entire cave shook and rumbled as Star fired off probably her most powerful magic blast yet. "That…shouldn't have happened." Star mumbled with a shocked face. She was honestly kinda…scared at how powerful that was.
Just then Star stopped glowing purple as time went back to normal for the Butterfly princess.
"Whats…going on?" Lynn asked in a totally confused tone as she found herself on the ground with Lana on top of her.
"I…have no idea…" Lana slowly answered.
"Star…" Lincoln questioned as he sat up.
"Uuuuuuuh…I saved you guys!" Star answered nervously. "I don't know how but I did!"
"Well that's good at-WOAH WHAT THE HECK?!" Lynn yelled as she looked past Star with the dust of the explosion she made clearing showing the hydra heads…only the hydra heads. The seven hands were the only thing that remained of the creature.
"Holy…" Lana slowly let out.
"Kinda…overkill don't you think Star?" Lincoln asked with a wince.
"Uuuuuuh…" Star nervously let out when-
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!" Suddenly a trumpeting yell was heard as the group of four looked to the source and saw none other then Star's dad King River wearing nothing but a loincloth with a bone in his beard.
They watched as River jumped down to the level they were at charging at where the Hydra heads were. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-oooooooh…its dead." River let out in a disappointed tone as he looked over the seven severed heads. But just then the king's eyes ended up moving over to where Star was as he snapped over to his daughter with a frown. "STAR!"
"Hi daddy…" Star let out in a nervous tone.
"Busted…" Lincoln quietly let out as he and his two sisters backed up.
"You know you're not to leave Earth!" River reminded his daughter in a scolding tone. "What are you doing here?"
"Okay, okay! Uh, but the thing is, it's not exactly my fault!" Star tried to nervously cover up for herself. "There—it was an anniversary! It all started with Hekapoo…wait a minute." Star then narrowed her eyes at River as she realized something. "Aren't you supposed to be giving some 'boring lecture'?"
It was River's turn to be nervous as the king shifted his eyes around. "Uh, yes! W-We got a little lost. The directions were, uh... It all started with Hekapoo." River then sighed as he decided to come clean. "There is no lecture. Being king is exhausting. Every once in a while, I need to sneak away and fight monsters. It keeps me sane. And it's good for my throne posture."
"So I get my monster fighting from you." Star realized as a smile came to her face. "Cool...Cool!"
"I suppose so." River said as he and his daughter shared a chuckle.
"Are you gonna tell Mom you saw me?" Star asked in a worried tone.
"I didn't see you and you didn't see me." River told his daughter while stroking his beard. "But just this once."
Star nodded with a giant grin on her face as she and him shared a hug. "Hugs!" They both said in unison. They stayed like this for a minute before they separated and River saying farewell to her daughter.
Once he was gone, Star suddenly let out huge yawn as she started let out deep breaths. "You ok Star?" Lincoln asked as he, Lynn, and Lana went over to the princess.
"Yeah…just…just feeling a bit drained is all." Star said as she leaned on Lincoln for support. If she had to guess that whole time slow down thing with her purple state probably caused her decrease in energy. "Come on…lets head home…I wanna sleep."
"Hehe, alright." Lincoln said as he took out his scissors. "Lets head home." Lincoln then opened a portal that the four proceeded to go through...missing an angry mob carrying pitch forks and torches come into the cave.
"Find the witches!" The owner of the shop said as he led the charge to find the two witches that came into his shop that day.
Like I said, A LOT happened in this chapter. Both fun stuff and stuff that you can expect to see pop up again, some expected and some unexpected, hehe. Its fun knowing everything thats gonna happen. Also, before anyone ask about what Lisa and Lola were up to, don't worry. That WILL be covered. I just thought it would be best to...save it for a moment to develop one of their characters. Which one? Hehe, you'll have to wait and see.
But anyway, remember to fav, follow, and leave a review and stay tuned for...
