"Why are you dragging me around in a red wagon?" Emiko asked of Katsuki as he was holding onto the handle and pulling it along towards the school.

Katsuki said nothing.

"Wouldn't carrying me be easier?"

"I'm not carrying you."

"Or use your quirk to zoom us over there."

"I'll get you there my own way. Now shut it and stop talking."

"I see, you refuse to touch me at all."

Katsuki stopped the wagon and sighed. He glanced back at Emiko briefly before continuing onward. "So you figured it out. Hooray for you."

"But, I can't do this to you a second time-"

"I know. I heard you back there."

"Then you have nothing to worry about."

"Tell me, after you used your quirk, what was your plan? Were you just there to screw around with Erity's head?"

"That was the plan. At least until we started talking. I couldn't go through with it."

"And the cancer?"

"That wasn't me. In fact everything else that happened was due to the chemo. So all that stuff you went through during that time was just a domino effect."

"You never said anything. All that time spent together and there was not one single mention of why these things were happening to me. We could have fixed this, if you had come clean to me from the start."

"I was afraid you'd push me away."

"I would have understood back then. But now…I just feel like I was lied to."

"Do you still have feelings for me?"

"I feel something but it's not that."

"What do you think it is?"

"Heartbreak." Katsuki's hands hurt from clenching them so much. "Confusion. But there were key moments in my life during those times. Were those a lie too? Were my emotions affected that much?"

"I can't really know for sure without hearing the details of what you'd experienced." Emiko said, now very interested. "However if you still feel the same way about those moments now. Then it's safe to say that whatever you went through, likely happened because you wanted it to."

"That's good to know." Katsuki said. "Here." He brought the wagon in the medical room.

"What the heck did you do this time?"

"Calm down, it wasn't me. Her quirk backfired."

"What's everyone going to do when I retire? Die from exhaustion? My goodness."
