Alright here it is people! A chapter that while not my longest sets LOTS of important things up in the series. It did that in canon to. It was kinda the foreshadowing for Star fighting for monster rights and such. I think this is a pretty under rated episode and I hope I gave it the love it deserved. So I hope you guys enjoy it!

DINK! DINK! DINK! DINK!

"Ok quiet everyone, QUIET! Quiet." The day began in the Loud House with Star standing a top the Louds couch and banging the handle of a rather large sword against the table in front of her. Currently inside the Loud House was Star herself, the entire Loud Family, Rusty, Liam, Zach, Stella, Clyde, Janna, Sam and Jackie. "I assume you all brought your swords..."

"Uuuuh, wha?" Liam let out with everyone giving Star a confused look.

"It's said on the invitation: You're supposed to bring a sword..." Star said as she dropped the sword she was carrying.

"Um, sorry Star but I was a bit confused by your invitation." Stella brought up as she held up the invitation Star had sent everyone that was in the room. It was a picture of Star in a princess dress wearing a crown and wielding a sword with the moon behind her…and standing on top of a pile of skulls. On the very top of the card was four pictures. One of Star's smiling head looking to the side, a crown, a knight's helmet, and a drumstick.

"And why did you send these to us?" Lola asked as she and the rest of her family held up their own invitations Star gave them. "Why live here ya know."

"So what's up Starship?" Luna asked as she leaned against her girlfriend who had an arm around her. "Seems like something important if you wanted us all here."

"Uh, It's the 37th of Gravnogk?" Star said as if it was obvious. However, everyone only continued giving Star confused looks.

"…Grav-what?" Lynn asked with a raised brow.

"Mewnipendence Day?" Star explained further with a small frown.

"…Yeah ah don't know what that is." Liam said after a moment of awkward silence.

"Is this supposed to be a prank?" Clyde whispered to Lincoln who rolled his eyes in response.

"Star can you just explain what that is." Lincoln deadpanned at Star. "None of us are from Mewni remember?"

Star let out a sigh as an irritated expression came to her face as the Mewman princess proceeded to walk upstairs. Everyone around them simply looked around at each other awkwardly as they heard the door to Star's room open. After a few moments, the door opened again and everyone watch as Star came back down the stairs with a book in her arm. Sitting back on the couch, Star opened the book revealing it to be a pop-up book. "Mewnipendence Day."

"A pop-up book? Really?" Lisa deadpanned at the idea of getting a history lesson through a pop-up book only for her lips to be shushed by Lily.

"Quiet!" Lily quietly yelled to her old sister. "Story time!"

"A long time ago, arrived the first settlers of Mewni..." Star opened the book to reveal a rather large forest in the book and proceeded to move forward a little boat in the corner while making boat noises with her mouth. "Modest people with noble pursuits: Life, Liberty and Corn." Star then pulled up some parts of the pop-up book a brough up little pictures of a village, a castle in the middle of the forest, and a cornfield. "But the wicked monsters rose up and attacked the innocent Mewmans to re-steal Mewni for themselves." Star then rose up the last part of the page and brought up silhouettes of monsters.

Star then turned the page of the book to reveal a Mewman queen wielding a magic wand with three peasants in front of her. "So, the Queen used her magic to turn the simple peasants into a fearsome army!" Star then raised up the queen which in turn flipped the three peasants in the book to big strong soldiers. "And there was fighting... fighting, fighting, fighting, fighting, fighting..." Star then simply skipped through the entire rest of the book and stopping at the very last page which showed Butterfly Castle. "And the Mewmans won! Tadaah!"

"But wait...you just skipped all the war stuff." Rita pointed out with a raised eyebrow. She knew Star wasn't the biggest fan of reading and learning, but this seemed like an important part of Mewman history.

"Yeah what happened during all the fighting?" Lana asked as she was eager to learn everything that happened during the Mewman and monster battles.

"And when do we get the free food?" Zach was to ask the 'important' questions.

"We feast after we reenact…The Great Monster Massacre!" Star stated in an excited tone, not acknowledging Rita or Lana's statement and question respectively.

"Massacre?" Lynn Sr asked in an unsure tone. "Star are you sure this is safe for the younger kids to be a part of?"

"Ah relax dad." Luan told her father with her signature smile. "I'm sure this reenactment will be a real slayer! Hahaha! Get it?" Lynn Sr got it…but he didn't think it was to funny.

"Aw relax big L, it'll be fine." Star reassured the Loud father with a simple wave and causal smile. "Now then, I want everyone but Luna, Sam, and Leni to divide up into two groups. Mewnans, and monsters."

"Can I be a Mewma-" Rusty asked as he rose his hand only to be cut off by Star.

"You're a monster Rusty. I'm making you a monster." Star interrupted Rusty with a firm tone. "That's why you were invited." Rusty grumbled as he had to walk over to the side of the room that Star had labeled Monsters. While Star didn't really have anything against Rusty…his advances on most girls, herself included, creeped her out and got on her nerves.

While everyone else decided which side to be on, Luna, Sam, and Leni all walked up to Star wondering why she didn't want them on a side. "So, like, whats up Star?" Leni asked with the same question going through Sam and Luna's head. "Did you need us for something?"

"You bet your corn I do!" Star said with her usual enthusiastic grin. "Luna, Sam, I was hoping you two could provide some epic battle music for the war reenactment."

"Oh we can totally do that!" Sam told Star with Luna giving an excited grin in response. "We'll give this war some epic backround music!"

"I'd expect nothing less from Earth's greatest rock stars!" Star said as she gave both Sam and Luna a high five before turning to Leni. "Leni, I'm gonna need you to help make some costumes!"

"You had me at costumes!" Leni said in an excited tone as she took out her mini sewing kit out of her purse.

"Oh and Lincoln!" Star said, getting the white heads attention as he was picking his side. "I'm making you, the Mewman general!"

"Oh! Uh, thanks Star." Lincoln sheepishly said as he scratched the back of his head. However, he then decided to start playing the role as he cleared his throat and bowed to Star. "I mean, I live to serve you m'lady."

"That's the spirit!" Star smiled at Lincoln's acting; glad he was already getting into things. She then looked and saw that the two sides had been decided. On the side of the monsters was Rusty, Zach, Lucy, Lana, Lynn, Luan, and Rita. On the side of the Mewmans was Liam, Stella, Clyde, Janna, Lily, Lisa, Lola, Lynn Sr, and Jackie. "Lookin' pretty good." Star then pulled out her wand and pulled on the top, making a gun cocking sound with it, and made it glow. "Now me and Leni can begin making costumes and after that: THE BLOODY BATTLE CAN-wait a minute…somethings missing." Star then brought the pop-up book back up and turned to the second to last page.

Popping up was a image of the queen of Mewni sitting on her throne with her subjects cheering for her. And next to the queen was another throne with a king sitting on there. Star gasped as she looked back to everyone, realizing what was missing. "The king!" Star yelled as she needed one last thing for this reenactment…a king. "What's a queen without a little royal arm candy by her side after all, hehe. Alright, any volunteers to be king?"

"I'll be your-" Rusty was quick to raise his hand only to be blasted in the face by Star.

"Anyone else? Literally anyone else?" Star asked with an unamused tone. Everyone looked at each other awkwardly, seeing who would be the one to stand at Star's side playing the king of Mewni.

Seeing that no one else was going to do it, someone finally raised their hand. "I'll be your king Star." It was none other than Jackie who volunteered as she walked to Star's side with a causal smile on her face. "I don't mind being your 'royal arm candy' for the day."

"Aaaawww, thanks Jackie." Star said sweetly to Jackie before pulling the skateboarder in for a tight hug, making both girls cheeks go pink a bit. Star then separated from her 'king' and looked to everyone else again. "Alright people! Lets get ready! Chop chop!"

Everyone then started scattering around to prepare for the reenactment…all the while, right on the coffee table in the middle of the room were the flowers Rita had gotten from Mewni.

The flowers…she got from Toffee.

"This is amazing!" Back on Mewni, specifically Ludo's castle, the little bird monster himself was right in front of a giant flatscreen with Toffee sitting in a lounge chair a little bit away from Ludo with a book in his hand. And on the screen, they were watching was showing the events currently going on at the Loud House on earth. "They think its just a vase of flowers but it's not."

"It is the most efficient way to spy on your enemies." Toffee explained as he read the book in his hands.

"Look! If I zoom in, I can see her pores!" Ludo laughed as he grabbed a remote control that was next to him. "What secrets lie beneath?"

Just then, from the door in the back of the room, Buff Frog entered and looked at the screen with a glare. Ever since Toffee had given those flower cams to that Loud woman Ludo hadn't given him any spying missions. Those stupid flowers were stealing his job! And it was all Toffee's fault!

Still, he couldn't voice his distrust for Toffee and risk potentially being fired. So, trying to play it cool, he walked up to the two monsters in the room and did his usual salute. "Ludo. Master." Buff Frog greeted before doing the kissing part of his salute.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah." Ludo said in an annoyed tone as he mimicked Buff Frog's kissing salute. "Bleugh! Look at this! Now we can watch Star wherever she goes: In the kitchen, bedroom, even in the bathroom!"

"Uuuuuh…" Buff Frog and Toffee awkwardly looked at each other in response to the last part.

"Maybe we don't keep the bathroom channel..." Ludo said after realizing exactly what he said.

"But how flowers do this while in one place?" Buff Frog asked in confusion at seeing all the places those flowers, which were only on the coffee table, were showing them. "Flowers unmoving at coffee table, while I can move anywhere without detection!"

"It's not the flowers themselves, but what was in the flowers." Toffee began explaining in his usual professional tone. "Tiny spy-cameras that went off around the house and mounted themselves in specific places, allowing us to see what's now in front of us."

"But-" Buff Frog tried to argue but was cut off by Ludo.

"Now that you don't have any spying work to do you should get us some popcorn and milkshakes. I'm pretty sure we're gonna bench-watch this video all night." Ludo ordered the master spy, who frowned in response to the jobs he was given. "You can join us if you want, as long as you keep quiet and sit on the back." Buff Frog simply sighed before walking away slumped down as Ludo looked back to the giant screen and laughed. "She doesn't even know we're watching her!"

"Sometimes you biggest threat is right under your nose." Toffee stated as a tiny smirk came to his face.

"My nose is in my beak!" Ludo said with Toffee simply nodding condescendingly.

Back on earth at the Loud House, everyone was currently in the backyard getting ready for the reenactment. Star had used her magic to expand backyard to a size where they could have a proper battle with the scenery changed to a forest of pine trees. Star had also used her magic to warm up the area so it wouldn't be as cold due to the fact that the winter season was soon approaching as shown by the Royal Woods trees losing their fall leaves.

On the side of the monsters was Rita, who was dressed as a troll with battle armor and wielding a battle axe, Rusty who was dressed as the lobster monster wielding a tiny axe, Lucy who was dressed as a vampire, although Mewni didn't have vampires Star allowed this so the goth would be happy…well…as happy as Lucy Loud could be, Lana who was dressed as the purple alligator monster wielding a tiny sword, Lynn who was dress as Beard Deer, Luan who was dressed as the chicken monster wielding a pitchfork, and finally Zach who was dressed as Buff Frog.

And with Zach, Star was currently using her sword from earlier to push a giant pillow into Zach's shirt. Star herself was currently wearing a blue dress with puffy sleeves, a big skirt with two wave-like blue features on the left and right and white in the middle. There was a pair of hearts at the chest and lace at the bottom of the skirt, along with small blue heeled shoes underneath it, and long white gloves. She also had a tiara in her hair that was done up in a heart shape similar to her mothers own hair.

"There!" Star said after finally got the pillow into Zach's costume. "That will keep your Entrails from becoming your out trails!" Star then poked Zach's pillow covered gut for emphasize only to stab into the pillow, releasing some feathers when she pulled the sword out.

"My pillow..." Zach let out in response.

Just then everyone watched as a giant knight approached them wielding a massive axe in one hand and the Mewnidependence Day pop-up book in the other. "Hey Star, I've been looking through your...hold on." Lincoln's voice came out of the armor as the Loud boy lifted the vizard of the helmet up so he could talk better. "I've been looking through your book and something…just seems wrong about all this."

Star raised a brow at the uncomfortable look Lincoln had and jumped up to take the pop-up book out of his hand. "What do you mean?" Star asked as she took a look for herself. As Star checked, the monster teamed look behind Lincoln and flinched as they saw the rest of the Mewman team who were decked out in similar armor Lincoln had and all wielding giant weapons. All except Lily who was instead in a war-carriage being pulled by her laser puppies.

Meanwhile Sam and Luna were at a stage a bit away from the battle field with their instruments, ready to provide epic war music.

Star then looked at the page Lincoln was on that was showing giant knights fighting tiny monsters, but there was more to that page as Star flipped open some folds on the page to reveal even bigger knights with even bigger weapons. "Oh, okay." Star hummed as she took a look at the two teams. "Wow. You're right, Lincoln. "I can't believe I haven't noticed that before..."

"Oh thank God." Lincoln breathed a sigh of relief. "Because I was really starting to question-"

"Sharper! Sharper! Stabbier! Bigger! Meaner! And you need to be on a Warnicorn!" Star interrupted Lincoln by using her wand to make Lincoln's axe, Stella's face, Lola and Lisa's swords, Clyde's crossbow, Lily's puppy pulled carriage, Liam's ball and chain bigger and sharper, turning the flag Janna was wielding into a sharp weapon making the girl wielding it give an excited grin, and finally putting Lynn Sr on a giant Warnicorn.

"…Is anyone else noticing how one sided this is?" Lucy asked as the rest of the monster team gulped and nodded.

"Uh, Star…" Lincoln tried to get the girls attentions. This isn't at all what he meant. In fact, it was the exact opposite.

"And now for the monsters!" The monster team all smiled as they held up their weapons, expecting Star to upgrade them as well…only for the exact opposite to happen as Star took all their weapons away.

"Hey!" Lana complained. "What do we get?"

"Hello? You are monsters. Use your claws!" Star said as she made some monster sounds while swiping her hands like claws.

"Star, no. No, no, no." Lincoln told the Mewman as he hopped out of his oversized armor and landed in front of Star with an unsure frown on his face. "Star, this is…completely unfair!"

"…Unfair?" Star asked with a frown as she checked the book.

"And…I don't feel comfortable with all this 'All Monsters are pure evil talk" Lincoln further went on as he pointed to the book in Stars hand which had a page that had the exact phrase. "It feels…extremely racist. I mean yeah sure, Ludo and his monsters are pretty bad trying to steal your wand and all but…not all monsters can be bad right? It sounds to me like they were trying to defend their homeland that the Mewmans actually invaded."

"Um…Well…its just…" Star…couldn't think of an argument for Lincoln's words. Skimming through the pages of the book she flinched to see page after pager of monsters being completely destroyed by the over powered Mewman army. "So…are you not gonna do the reenactment anymore…"

Lincoln sighed in response as he put his hands in his pockets. "No…No I'll do it. I won't ditch ya like that." Lincoln told Star who gave Lincoln a small smile in response. "Just…I need to check in on someone about the history about all this first alright? It won't take long…technically."

"Well…ok." Star quietly said with a small nod. "Do what you need to do."

Lincoln gave Star a small smile and patted her shoulder before taking out his dimensional scissors and walking away, intending to make a portal away from everyone else.

"Attention everyone!" Right after Lincoln left, Leni approached the scene and clapped to get every one attention. "May I introduce to everyone…King Jackie!"

Stepping aside, everyone witness Jackie walking towards Star in a king outfit made by Leni Loud. The outfit was very similar to River's own outfit only it had a seafoam, mint, and neon green color scheme. She also had a crown similar to River's on her head. "So, how do I look?" Jackie asked as she stood in front of Star.

"Wow…" Star let out with some sparkles in her eyes. "You…really pull of the king look."

Jackie giggled a bit in response before speaking in a more masculine sounding voice. "Why thank you my queen." Jackie's king voice made Star giggle, but thoughts of what just happened with Lincoln was still making her frown causing Jackie to talk normal again and give Star a concerned look. "Hey, everything ok?"

"Y-Yeah totally." Star stuttered as she forced a small smile onto herself. "Just…Lincoln needed to go take care of something real quick. Wanna…Wanna help with some last-minute preparations?"

Jackie's response was to give Star a calm smile and hold her hand out to her. "Shall we, my queen?" Star blushed once again as she took Jackie's hand. The two then started walking when-

SMASH!

"Oops!" Stella had accidentally dropped her mace just a few inches away from Zach, almost crushing him. "Sorry Zach!"

"Come on!" Zach yelled as he kicked the oversized mace.

Back with Lincoln, the Loud boy could now be seen in his room. The reason why he went in his room to open the portal was because he needed to grab something first. A history book. Once he had the book, he turned to a certain page and marked it down by turning the corner a bit. Once that was done, he closed it up and opened a portal that he quickly stepped through.

The Loud boy then found himself in a room that was mostly stone with lava rivers set up all over the place. He's been here a few times to hang out with one person in particular…

"Hey Hekapoo." Currently sitting down on a couch in front of a pool of lava was the dimensional scissor maker herself. For this…was her domain.

"Heh, well ain't this a surprise snowball." Hekapoo said with a grin as she turned her head to face Lincoln. Getting up, the magical being walked over to the Loud boy and said. "Usually I'm the one visiting you. What brings you here."

"So…you said you've been around a long time right?" Lincoln asked as the reason he had come to Hekapoo was to ask her questions about the history of Mewni since she had actually been around for it. Hekapoo nodded in response to Lincoln's question. "I was hoping to ask you some questions about…Mewnidepence day."

"Oh yeah, I forgot that was today." Hekapoo said as she and Lincoln sat down on her couch together. "Alright Linc, what do ya wanna know."

"Well first off I was hoping for a little bit of history about it that isn't in pop-up book form." While the pop-up book did shed quite a bit of history, Lincoln figured that an actual book would provide him with more specific details.

Hekapoo's response was to get off the couch again and clap her hands a few times. Lincoln rose a brow at this, but then witness as a piece of the wall next to them opened up to reveal a book shelf filled with books that could only be described as ancient. "Here, this one should have everything you need to know." Hekapoo said as she took out an old dusty book, blew off the dust, and tossed it to Lincoln. "I gotta warn you though, some of the pictures in there are quite graphic."

Lincoln nodded in response as he set his own earth history book down next to him and started reading through the old book Hekapoo gave him. While it was in Mewnian language, both Star and Hekapoo actually taught him upon his request to read the language. Just in case.

"OH MY GOD!" Lincoln yelled as he reached the first picture of the book and quickly turned the page so he wouldn't have to look at the gruesome illustration again.

"I tried to warn ya~" Hekapoo said in a teasing voice.

"This is…horrible…" Lincoln cringed as he went through more of the book.

"Eh, least the Mewmans won." Hekapoo said with a shrug as she sat back down on the couch next to Lincoln. "Take that monsters and all that."

"That's…kinda mean don't ya think?" Lincoln asked Hekapoo with a frown as the scissor's maker rose a brow at him.

"What are you talking about?" Hekapoo asked in a bit of a confused tone. "The good Mewmans won and the evil monsters lost. That's why Mewmans celebrate this day. Liberation from the evil monsters."

"…You can't liberate something you stole Hekapoo." Lincoln told the magical being in a firm tone. "That's called conquering."

"Wait a minute…are you defending monsters?!" Hekapoo asked as she glared at Lincoln. She couldn't believe it. She thought he was cool! "What the heck dude!?"

"Look, I'm just saying I don't think all monsters are bad." Lincoln stated, making sure his case was straight. "Do I think there was bad monsters? Yes. But there's gotta be plenty of good ones to. I find it hard to believe that all monsters in existence are bad. That's just…completely racist."

"What are you getting at Loud?" Hekapoo asked as she narrowed her eyes harshly at Lincoln.

"Look, there's no such thing as pure good or pure evil." Lincoln explained as he made hand gestures to go along with what he was saying. "You can't judge a single person base on their race, skin color, species, or any of that. Its more complex than that. Look at humans, there are plenty of good ones of varying race and tone, but at the same time there's also plenty of evil humans."

"Pfft, yeah right." Hekapoo stated with an eyeroll. "No offense Linc, but whats the worst your species could possibly do? Present company excluded, you're all kinda…soft."

…Lincoln smirked. He brought that book with him for a reason and he was honestly hoping Hekapoo would say that. So, picking up the history book he brought, he opened it up to the page he marked and handed it over to Hekapoo. "Here." Lincoln said as the magical being took the book and gave Lincoln a confused look.

"Wh-whats this?" Hekapoo asked as she gestured to the book.

"A book on human history." Lincoln said bluntly. "You think humans can't do anything to bad or evil? Read that and the next few pages. About a guy named Adolf Hitler. Think you'll find it…interesting."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever." Hekapoo said before she looked on the book. "Doubt its that bad."

Oh poor, wrong Hekapoo.

As Hekapoo skimmed through the first page, her eyes slightly widened at what she read. "O-Oh…" Hekapoo let out in surprise as she turned the page. That surely had to bet he worst of it right? "…Oh my God…" Hekapoo was wrong once again as she read even more about this guy and her face went from surprised to shock. And when she got to next page…complete disgust.

"So how is-" Before Lincoln could finish, Hekapoo dropped the book and dashed over to the lava pool in the middle of the room and dipped her head right into it. Lincoln wasn't worried as he knew Hekapoo was immune to it and even saw many bubbles emerge as well as muffled screams.

"OH MY GOD!" Hekapoo finally brought her head back up after losing her lunch. "HOW CAN ANYONE BE THAT SICK?!" And just like that Hekapoo dipped her head back in the lava again.

"Yeah, yeah, not that bad huh?" Lincoln mocked Hekapoo's early statement as he crossed his arms and stood next to the magical being with her head still in the lava. "Humans are harmless huh?" Bubbles once again began to emerge as Hekapoo's muffled screams were heard. "So tell me, any monsters do any of that stuff?"

"NO! NOT AT ALL!" Hekapoo yelled at the top of her lungs after bringing her head up again and laid next to the pool of lava flat on her back while heavily breathing. "Ugh…what the absolute heck man…"

"Sorry for showing you that but now ya get what I mean right?" Lincoln asked as he sat down next to the scissor's maker. "Now tell me, would you compare me to Hitler?"

"No! Not at all!" Hekapoo quickly answered. "I know you dude…you'd never do anything like that."

"Thanks. Now what about monsters?" Lincoln asked as he got back to the topic of monsters again. "You said they never did anything like…that. Would you compare any monsters to him?"

"Well…maybe…one." Hekapoo admitted as while monsters never did anything close to as bad as that, there was one single monster that Hekapoo could name that was truly the worst of the worst. "But…"

"And what about recent guys we faced? Like…Miss Heinous." Lincoln named the head mistress of that reform school they just liberated. "Would you compare her, someone who was brain washing princesses into emotionless dolls, to say…a monster dad just wanting to look after and protect his kids? I'm positive there are monsters like that."

"…" Hekapoo couldn't give an answer. She had one but…it would go against everything she stood for and believed in for centuries.

"…And isn't the underworld a kingdom of demons?" Lincoln deadpanned. Honestly a majority of humans would say demons are much worse than monsters.

"…Ok that ones hard to defend." Hekapoo had to admit that.

"…Look, remember that song I sang when I took you around Royal Woods? Change Your Mind?" Lincoln asked with Hekapoo nodding, the memory of Lincoln singing bringing pleasantness to her mind that she really needed. "Remember what I told you it was about?"

"That…you can't just look at thing with a black and white view?" Hekapoo said as she tried to remember what Lincoln said about that song. "How everything is more than you think if you just give it a chance and you can see things differently if you just…change your mind?"

"Exactly." Lincoln confirmed with a nod. "Look…its up to you on what you think. I'm just saying that its not really fair to judge a single person by their species or anything like that. Good, evil. They're just words. What matters is what your own heart and mind think. And can you honestly say you believe that every single monster in existence is nothing but pure evil?"

"…I…I…" Hekapoo didn't know what to say. She was stuck. She thought she knew what she thought but now…

"Look…you don't have to answer right away. Just…think about it. Please. For me?" Lincoln asked with a small smile on his face.

"…Yeah." Hekapoo quietly agreed with a nod. "Ok."

"Thanks." Lincoln thanked his friend with a grateful smile. "Ya know, after our reenactment we're gonna have a Mewman feast. Wanna join?"

"Heh…thanks for the invite snowball but I think I'll pass…" Hekapoo told Lincoln who nodded in understanding. "Just gonna…lay here for a bit.

"Sounds good, thanks for listening." Lincoln said as he grabbed his history book and opened up a portal back to earth with his scissors. "See ya later H-Poo."

"Uuuugh…" Hekapoo groaned as Lincoln left, to mentally exhausted to yell at him for calling her that.

Once she was alone, all she could do was stare at the ceiling of her little liar and listening to the lava boil as her head was flooded with countless thoughts and questions of her own beliefs and mortality. "Oooooh…what's happening to me?"

"Comrades: it's beginning!" Back at Ludo's castle, Buff Frog had gathered up the other monsters of Ludo's army to inform them of the situation at hand. "Toffee replaced me with electronic spy flower!"

"Uh…we don't care..." The unicorn bear said as the rest of the monsters simply looked around, not really caring like he said.

"But you should!" Buff Frog yelled as he pointed at the unicorn bear. "Toffee soon will replace you with electronic ice-cream cone." Buff Frog then pointed to the frill necked monster. "And you with another electronic ice-cream cone." He then pointed to the two headed monster. "And you with...what is that you do exactly?"

"Uh, well, there's two of us." The left head said as he gestures to himself and his right head. "So…maybe that's a thing?"

Before Buff Frog could speak further, he felt a hand on his shoulder that caused a shiver to go down his spine. Looking to it, he saw it was Toffee's hand and watched as the lizard monster pulled Buff Frog back and walked in front of him. "Are you finished?" Toffee asked before looking to the rest of the monsters, noticing but not caring about the glare Buff Frog sent him. "Gentlemen! Allow me to direct your attention to our new surveillance device." Toffee then pointed everyone to the screen where it showed the upcoming reenactment at the Loud House, even showing Lincoln returning and hopping into his suit of armor. "Princess Butterfly is re-enacting our favorite holiday: The great monster massacre."

All the monsters started groaning or muttering in response. "That is my least favorite holiday."

"Don't worry, we can take advantage of this opportunity." Toffee told everyone as he held up what looked like a mace. "Why send an army after the wand…" Toffee then took the remote from Ludo and proceeded to press a button on the mace, making it open up and reveal a mini portal inside. Toffee then put the remote and his hand through the portal causing another mini portal to open up in front of Ludo send the remote back to him. "When it can be hand-delivered?"

"Oh, isn't that a thing thing?" Ludo said in an impressed tone as he took the remote from Toffee's hand with the lizard pulling his hand out of the portal and closing up the mace.

"And it's not like she is going to notice a real monster." Toffee pointed out as he looked at all the humans disguised as monsters.

"Haha, those aren't real?" Ludo legitimately asked with a laugh while pointing to the screen.

"…Ok." Toffee simply said condescendingly. One could just barely detect a hint of frustration coming from Toffee due to Ludo's stupidity. "Now, who would want to bring Ludo his wand?"

All the monsters mutter unsurely as they took a step back…all…except for Buff Frog. The amphibious monster puffed out his chest as he stepped forward to Toffee. "I will go." This monster would proudly show his usefulness and show he was better than some machine.

"I thought you might." Toffee said before whispering at a volume no one could hear. "You fat bag of garbage…" Toffee then handed the mace to Buff Frog who was quick to go out and complete his mission.

Back at the Loud House, Star could be seen looking down at the battle field from her balcony. Everything Lincoln said still resonated with her as she kept looking through the pop-up book…growing more and more worried and unsure about this.

"Hey Star, everything ok?" By Star's side was Jackie who was seeing the look on Star's face and quickly grew worried. "ya know…if you're not so sure about this we can just go eat now? There's never any shame in bailing."

Star thought about maybe stopping this for a few moments, but she shook it off and forced a small smile on herself. "No...it's okay." Star reassured Jackie. "It'll…It'll be fun."

"Well…if you're sure." Jackie said as she put a hand on Star's shoulder.

Star gave Jackie a small but grateful smile before walking up and got everyones attention. "Knights of Mewni!" Star announced as everyone on both sides looked towards her. "Take up your stabby weapons and drive off the evil monsters!" Star then rose up high and fired a blast out of her wand that rose up to the sky and exploded into a purple skull.

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!" The Mewman team yelled as they charged out into the battle.

"RUSTY SPOOOOOOOOOKES!" Rusty yelled as he and the other members of the monster team all charged out.

All except for Zach who froze in fear at what he saw. The battle was as one sided as it seems as the monster team couldn't land a finger on the Mewman team. "I can't do this!" Zach said before backing away into a pine tree. "Make me invisible!"

But right as Zach hid, a portal opens and the real Buff Frog jumps out wielding the mace Toffee had given him. But right as Buff Frog came onto the field, he was immediately almost crushed by a massive mace. And just like last time, it belonged to Stella. "I'm so sorry, Zach!" Stella apologized, not knowing it was the real Buff Frog in front of her.

"Come on!" Buff Frog yelled as he kicked the mace before running past Stella. Buff Frog then started to expertly maneuver through the field, avoiding any weapons being swung at him and jumping over the people in the oversized armor, even getting some good hits in.

Meanwhile Star watched from her balcony with growing distress over the one-sided battle below. She was watching as the monster team were easily getting beaten down and even gasped as she saw the Warnicorn Lynn Sr was riding on launch Luan into the air. "Star…maybe you should stop this." Jackie said as she was feeling the same way Star was feeling now.

However, both were unaware as Buff Frog climbed up onto the balcony and spotted the wand on right next to Star. Gripping the mace tightly, Buff Frog presses the button to activate it…only for nothing to happen. "Wha…" Buff Frog let out at the mace not working. He keeps pressing the button only for it to keep not working and slowly grow horrified. So…Buff Frog did the only thing he could think of.

He tossed the mace away.

The amphibious monster decided he would have to do this by hand. So he carefully reached out for the wand, and right as he was about to grab it-

"Zach?" Buff Frog flinched and saw Star and Jackie looking right at him. But before any of them could question who they thought was the red head, suddenly Lynn Sr's Warnicorn came up and used its horn to launch Buff Frog high into the sky and land hard where the monster team started. "ZACH!" Star and Jackie yelled in unison.

Star quickly began to glow purple. This was all her fault. One of her friends got hurt because of how she set this up. "STOP!" Her voice booming and echoing through out, the sheer intensity of her shout sending a wave of purple energy all through out and essentially forcing everyone to stop.

Once the fighting was ceased, a still glowing Star quickly jumped down from her balcony and ran over to who she thought was Zach and lifted him up. "I'm so sorry! Lincoln was right, this is unfair!" Star admitted as everyone came over to watch the scene. "Zach, are you ok?"

I'm fine." Everyones eyes widened as the source of Zach's voice came from not the one in Star's arms…but from his face, the real Zach's face, coming out of a pine tree. "I'm just...invisible…"

As Zach disappeared into the pine tree again, the princess and everyone present look to see what they now realized was the real Buff Frog who was now awake and quickly pushed Star away and started running away, picking up the mace he discarded earlier as well. Looking back, Buff Frog saw the Mewman aiming her wand at him. The wand glowing with intense purple energy that caused the ground to start lightly shaking.

…But Star didn't fire.

Instead, both the princess and her wand stopped glowing purple as Star lowered her wand. Allowing Buff Frog to escape.

"Alright everyone!" Looking up to Star's balcony, they saw Jackie still there shouting to everyone. "As your king I declare its time we eat some corn!" Everyone quickly agreed as they got out of their costumes and armor respectively and headed inside. All except for Star who was still stuck in shock at the experience.

"What a disgrace!" Back at Ludo's castle, Ludo was angrily yelling at Buff Frog who was looking down in shame over his failure. Ludo, Toffee, and the rest of the monsters saw everything through the monitor and needless to say Ludo wasn't happy at all. "This is what you get when you hire people from the swamp! Let's watch again..." To add insult to injury, Ludo kept replaying the scene of Buff Frog getting launched by the Warnicorn on the screen.

"I'm telling you! This thing! It didn't work!" Buff Frog claimed while holding up the mace Toffee gave him. No matter how many times he pressed the button, the mace didn't open up.

Just then Toffee took back the mace and pressed the button himself…causing it to open. "It works fine for me..." Toffee claimed in his usual tone.

"He sabotaged it!" Buff Frog claimed while angrily pointing to Toffee.

"I rescued you from a life in the swamp, I took you in, I gave you pants, and this is what you do to repay...wait a minute..." Ludo stopped his rant as he looked at Buff Frog and realized he wasn't wearing pants. "Where are your pants?!"

"Uh, well...uh…" Buff Frog let out awkwardly.

"Oh, get real! You brought shame on this house!" Ludo yelled to the amphibious monster. "Now go to your room." Buff Frog could only look down in sadness and shame as he walked away. "I don't know what to do about that! Maybe I should take away his milkshake privileges?"

"Seriously? This was idiot-proof." Toffee stated while looking down at Ludo, his tone deadly serious. "I think you know what you have to do."

Ludo sighed, but nodded as he gave the order to his men…

…and evicted Buff Frog from the castle.

Back at the Loud House, everyone could now be seen happily feasting on corn and corn related dishes and chatting with one another during the night hours. Meanwhile Star was seen picking at her buttered corn, previous events still going through her mind, as Lincoln came up to her and asked. "Hey, you doing ok?"

"I…I honestly don't know." Star answered with a frown. "Everything just seems so…weird now."

Lincoln gave Star a sympathetic smile as he patted her shoulder a few times. "Well, if you ever need to talk you can always come to me." The Loud boy reassured her.

"Yeah I know." Star quietly said with a small smile. Lincoln nodded before he went off to go get some more food. And right as Star was about to finally dig in, her eyes drifted out the window where she saw a depressed Buff Frog sitting on a tree branch.

Star gave the monster a sympathetic look as she could guess why he was there and looking like that. So, picking up her plate of buttered corn and set it on the window sill for him and whispered an. "I'm sorry…" Before walking away…missing Buff Frog giving her a smile.

And there it is! Like I said this set up things not just for Star but another character, hehehe. Like I said, this episode is pretty under rated and I wish it was talked about more but eh, if you want something done right you gotta do it yourself and that's exactly what I did!

So with all that said remember to fav, follow, and leave a review and stay tuned for...
