"Hey guys," Janna spoke up as she brought her lunch tray to her usual spot. Lincoln, Jackie, Star, Hailey, Clyde, Liam, Rusty, Zach, and Stella were all already there with Janna being the last to arrive. "So I got this jar of eyeballs off this website but I'm not sure there's as many in the jar like the website said."
"Who the hell starts a conversation like that we just sat down!" Lincoln yelled at Janna with a disturbed look, a look that was shared by everyone except Star who was looking down at her food with an unreadable expression. "Seriously Janna where do you keep finding these websites with all this creepy stuff?"
"You don't wanna know." Janna told them all with her usual smirk.
"…I'm positive she's a witch." Liam whispered to his friends, all of them nodding in response.
"Mmmmm…" Star let out with a frown on her face as she picked at her food. Throughout the entire school day she has been…strangely quiet. She's hardly said a word and barely even pay attention…well…she didn't pay much attention in class to begin with but this just felt different than her usual ignoring of the teacher.
"Hey Star, something wrong?" Jackie spoke up as she looked over Star with a worried look. Jackie had been quick to notice Star's unusual behavior today but was only able to reach out to her about now that they were in the lunchroom. "You've been acting weird all day, is something wrong?"
"Yeah, you didn't even focus in art class," Zach pointed out as he took that class alongside Star and Lincoln. "And that's like the one class you actually like."
"Just had a crappy family reunion…" Star mumbled with a sigh. She then pushed her lunch tray forward, pizza day or not she just didn't feel like eating right now. "That's all…"
"Family reunion?" Hekapoo questioned before she quickly realized what Star meant. She usually forgot Moon threw that little party every year. "Oh right, the Butterfly and Johansen dinner thing. Alright princess spill it, what happened?"
Star let out another long sigh, throwing her head back as well. Welp, no way they were gonna let her leave the lunch table now until she explained what happened. Might as well just rip the band aid off and get it over with. "Fine…you guys know that whole…purple thing that happens to me when I get upset?" Star asked with everyone at the table nodding their heads either having seen it for themselves or have been told about it. "Well…long story short my mom stuck me and Lincoln at the kids table, then my family started playing Flags, game like King of the Hill, and my mom said I couldn't play, so me and Lincoln played anyway and well…I kinda went crazy, attacked my relatives, fought with my mom, and now they both know about my purple problem…"
"…" Everyone, sans Lincoln who saw it all for himself, eyes widened as they took in all of Star's words and what she went through the other day. "Yeeeeeah, I think that'd make anyone messed up." Clyde bluntly said with everyone muttering in agreement.
"So…what'd your mom say after all that?" Stella asked Star with a worried tone.
"…Tch…" Star's expression soured as she remembered exactly what her mom said after the whole thing…
"I can't believe you would even think to hide something like this from me!" Moon wasted no time in scolding her daughter like there was no tomorrow pretty much the second Star woke up. It was only about 15 minutes until Star woke up and was still completely exhausted from what just happened, but that didn't stop Star from getting an absolute earful from her mom about everything. "Do you have any idea how serious something like this is!?"
"Honey perhaps you could go a little easier on her?" River told his wife with a gentler tone as he shot his daughter a worried look. He could tell that Star was completely spent right now and was obviously going through some things, so maybe she didn't really need a scolding. "Maybe we should just make sure she's ok and get some more rest."
"No River! This needs to be dealt with now, I'm not going easy on her!" Moon yelled at River, making the king flinch and back up. Yeah…there was no talking his wife out of something when she was like this. "How long exactly has this been happening young lady?! The second this happened you should have told me immediately! What were you even thinking hiding it?! Do you know how dangerous magic can be if it's not handled right, especially since yours seem to be especially unstable!"
"Hey! Back off!" Surprising Moon, Lincoln got right in front of her. He shoved his face right into hers and glared into her eyes, making her take a few steps back and put a little bit of distance between her and her daughter. "This is exactly why she kept it a secret, because she didn't want to get an earful from you! Especially since you already force her to cram a bunch of junk into her head!"
Moon gave Lincoln an offended scoff before glaring back at him. "How dare you! Our matters are none of your business!" Moon firmly told Lincoln, but Lincoln didn't back down as she got right into his face this time. "My daughter should know better! She needs to control her magic so that way she can be a responsible perfect queen for Mewni! She knows all this but I still have to remind her since she can't seem to remember or memorize any of it!"
"…" Star was completely silent as her mother kept going on with her rant, but Star wasn't listening. As her mother talked a ringing sound filled her ears drowning out everything else that was around her.
Just another loving talk with her mother…
"And that's about what happened…" Star finished as she clenched her hands tightly into fists. "Oh the joy of a mother's love…"
"Yeesh," Liam let out with a wince. With a mother like Moon who needs enemies right? "Mah ma can be a bit harsh sometimes but that's mostly during harvest season where we need to make sure all the work gets done right."
"There's a difference between harsh and being a bitch." Lincoln pointed out with a frown on his face. He really couldn't believe how Moon was during that situation, she didn't even ask Star at all if she was ok! Lincoln knew Star's relationship with her mother was…complicated but this is just next level. Upon looking up the Loud boy noticed everyone giving him rather shocked stares. "What?"
"Damn snowball, I'm impressed." Hailey complimented as she put a hand on Lincoln's back and patted it a few times. "Not holding anything back."
"Well I guess you're just rubbing off on me, heh." Lincoln blushed a little at the disguised scissor maker's words. "But seriously it's like she didn't even care about Star's health, what kind of a mom does she think she is."
"Not a good one that's for sure." Jackie muttered with everyone else voicing agreement with the skater girl. Jackie then looked to Star and frowned a bit as the princess looked down at her food with a saddened look on her face. Star didn't deserve any of that crap, and from her own mother no less. It just sucked! "Hmmmmm…" Suddenly Jackie smiled as a lightbulb went off in her head as she turned to Star. "Well hey, you know what always cheers me up after a bum day? A night with some girl friends!"
"Huh?" Star rose a brow as she turned to Jackie. "What do you mean?"
"Well how about we have a slumber party!" Jackie suggested as she wrapped an arm around Star and pulled her close. Star let out a squeak as her face went red a bit as she was pulled up nice and close to the skater girl. "You me and the girls spend the night at my place and just have fun and forget about your stick-up-the-ass mom!"
"Hey that sounds pretty good," Hailey smirked and nodded in agreement with Jackie. Whenever she wanted to get away from those other idiots at the MHC she would always visit a tavern she was fond of or, more recently, spend time with Lincoln. And it's also been a while since she's spent time with some other girls. "Perfect chance to unwind and have some fun."
"Eh, guess I don't got any plan tonight." Janna shrugged before taking a drink of her milk. "I'm in."
"Sounds fun, but I'm afraid I gotta take a rain check." Stella told everyone with a small frown on her face. "Me and my family were going to the movies tonight."
"That's fine Stella, we understand." Jackie nodded her head at Stella before turning her head to Star again. "So what do you say Star?"
"Well…that does sound pretty fun." Star smiled at the thought. It has been a while since she's had a real girls day/night out and she could use one right about now. "Maybe I could call up Kelly and Pony Head to join us too."
"Um, actually…" Clyde then spoke up with a bit of an awkward smile on his face. "Kelly asked if she could spend the night at my place, we've been working together on a game lately and we wanna try and see if we can finish it."
"Aaaaawww, look at you two spending time together~" Star told Clyde with a big grin on her face. Well she was glad that was going well. If those two had plans she wasn't gonna get in the way of that. "Well Pony Head should be able to come too, and I know it's supposed to be a girl's thing but…could Lincoln come too? I'd really like that."
"Of course!" Jackie eagerly nodded her head. She was planning on asking Lincoln to come anyway so that worked out nicely. "He's your brother, and he's pretty close enough to a girl."
"Hey!" Lincoln let out with a lightly offended look.
"Told ya people would think differently of you with the ponytail." Janna pointed out with an amused smirk, making Lincoln let out a tired sigh.
"Well I think you're a really pretty girl Snowball~" Hailey told Lincoln with a flirty tone as she started to scratch under his chin. "You should be proud of that~"
"Mmmmm…" Lincoln grumbled as he quickly began to blush. Unknown to Lincoln a few guys were looking at him in jealousy from getting Hailey's attention. "Thanks…"
"Soooooo…" Rusty spoke up as he tried not to glare at Lincoln in jealously. "Can we come along~"
"…" All of the girls simply gave Rusty unamused stares.
"Aw come on!" Rusty yelled out, they didn't even take a moment to consider it before silently denying him. "Lincoln vouch for me!"
"…Rusty, you're my friend and all, but you know I'm not gonna do that." Lincoln told his friend firmly, causing Rusty's jaw to drop. "Let's face it everyone, we all know what Rusty would do if he was at a sleepover with girls."
"Eeyup," Liam nodding in complete agreement.
"Ain't that the truth." Zach stated as he took a bite of his pizza.
"Hmph…" Rusty pouted while crossing his arms. "Buzzkills…"
"I'll text you all when you can all come over," Jackie smiled again as she told everyone her plan. She was gonna make sure to run it by her parents first, but she was sure they would be cool with it as long as it wasn't a full-blown party, and then set up everything and then everything should be good to go for an awesome slumber party. "Just make sure to come by in your PJ's, this is gonna be a real slumber party."
"You got it Jackie," Star smiled as she found herself leaning into Jackie. "You're the best."
"Heheh, anything for my best girl," Jackie told Star as she held on to Star a little tighter.
LATER THAT NIGHT
"Ok let's see…" Jackie smiled as she looked over everything she set out which included bowls of chips, many two liters of pop with plastic cups near them, smaller bowls with chip dip, various desserts like cookies and brownies set up, and a big tray of pizza bites on the stove. "Alright everything looks good! Just one more thing…"
Ding!
"Cupcakes are ready cuz!" Speaking up was none other than Sam Sharp, Jackie's cousin who went up to the oven wearing a pair of oven mitts. The rocker girl opened up the oven and took out the tray of cupcakes and looked them over, giving them a long sniff as well. "Aaaaaaah, man these spell great! Nicely done Jackie!"
"Thanks Sam, you can just put em right there." Jackie told her cousin, who nodded and did just that. "I can take care of the frosting, thanks a bunch for helping me out with all of this. That was cool of you."
"Hey I'm always here if you need me Jackie." Sam reassured her cousin as she briefly ruffled her little cousin's hair, getting a small laugh out of Jackie. "So what's the occasion anyway, don't think you've ever had a sleep over before."
"Oh, well one of my friends had a bit of a bad day," Jackie explained as she started coating the cupcakes with frosting, quite a lot really. She knew Star liked her cupcakes with extra frosting. "So we thought this would be a good way to get their mind out of the gutter and cheer them up."
"Aw well that's really nice of you," Sam gave her little cousin a quick hug from behind. Jackie always did have a big heart on her and she was glad that never changed. "Well you have fun with your friends, I better go now. Me and Luna have band practice tonight."
"Have fun cuz!" Jackie yelled out to Sam as she left the house. Once Jackie finished up with the cupcakes, everything would be perfect. No one else was home, they'd have plenty of snacks to enjoy, and they could spend all night doing whatever they wanted and just having fun. "Now just gotta wait for them all to show up."
Now that she was done Jackie went to change into her PJ's. Nothing much really as it consisted of a white sleeveless and shoulderless top with two thin black strings holding it up as well as a pale blue shorts with an orange seashell pattern on each side. "Looking good Jackie," Jackie gave herself a brief wink in the mirror before she heard knocking on the door. "Sweet, looks like they're here. Coming!"
Jackie quickly made it down the stairs and ran towards the door, opening it up right as she reached it and saw everyone had arrived. "Glad you guys could make it!" Jackie told Star, Lincoln, Hekapoo, Janna, and Pony Head as they all came in wearing their PJ's. All except for Pony Head that is since she is just a floating head.
Star was wearing a dark blue sleeping gown with a crescent moon on it, Lincoln had his usual orange pajama shirt and pants, Janna was wearing dark turquoise pajama's with the shirt having a pocket on it, and Hekapoo was wearing an oversized T-Shirt that said "Dragon Cycler" on it as well as some soft looking gray pants, she also had her hair done up in a bun with a few strands on the side. "Alright!" Pony Head cheered as she floated inside. "Let's get this girls night started! Oh right, girl's night plus snowball."
"Thanks for including me…" Lincoln deadpanned at the floating head before turning to Jackie with a smile. "But thanks for letting me come Jackie, tonight should be a blast."
"And it smells like you got some goodies made~" Star grinned excitedly before taking in a deep whiff of the smell of baked goods that was coming in from the kitchen. "Oh those smell great!"
"Thanks Star, made them myself, well with a little help from my older cousin Sam." Jackie told everyone as Star and Pony Head were already helping themselves to some of the baked goods on display while Lincoln, Janna, and Hekapoo went over to the couch. "So ladies, and Lincoln, you guys ready for a night full of fun?"
"Yeah!" Everyone cheered in unison.
"And I know just the way how to start the night." Janna said with a grin as she pulled out a dvd and showed it off to everyone. "Whose up for a little scary movie~?"
Everyone looked at the movie Janna brought and, although worried at first since he didn't handle scary movies well, Lincoln rose a brow at Janna's choice. "Wait this movie?" Lincoln had to make sure Janna was actually serious about this. "I heard this movie was trash."
"Oh it is, but that's the beauty of it my dear simple Lincoln," Janna explained why she decided to pick this movie to bring to the sleepover. "Instead of looking at it like a horror movie, you gotta look at it like a comedy."
"Comedy?" Star asked with a raised brow. Janna simply decided to put on the movie to show everyone just what she meant.
THIRTY MINUTES LATER
"Pfft, hahahahah!" Hekapoo laughed loudly as she and everyone else watched what was on screen. Pretty much everyone was laughing as well except for Janna who was simply chuckling as oppose to the full blown laughter coming from everyone else. "Seriously? How do you die like that, that's just sad!"
"And look at those effects!" Lincoln chuckled as he stuffed some popcorn into his face. Normally horror movie gore made him sick…but the effects were so low quality here that it was more humorous than disgusting. "I'm pretty sure I'm seeing the ketchup wrappers in the piles of blood!"
"See? What did I tell you guys?" Janna said with a smirk as she took a sip of her drink. She'd never admit it due to wanting to keep her image but watching these kinda movies with friends was a lot more fun than just watching them alone. "There's a beauty to these crappy movies, just gotta see them through different eyes."
"Ok girl I'll admit you were right." Pony Head admitted with a chuckle as she looked to the screen again. "Yo! Dude, just kick him in the groin or something! Snails move faster than that psycho!"
STAB! STAB! STAB!
"Ah! I'm…dying!" The guy in the movie yelled out as he was repeatedly stabbed in the face while sounding like he was reading straight from the script. "Oh what a cruel twist of fate!"
"Aaaaaand goodbye Louie you will not be miss." Jackie chuckled as she tossed a pizza bit into her mouth while shaking her head. She certainly wasn't expecting them to watch cheesy bad horror films at their sleepover, but she was certainly glad they were now. "Geez pretty sure that knife is plastic just look at it they aren't even trying!"
"Man Lincoln always told me that horror movies are all crappy but, well this is crappy but in the good way!" Star mumbled with her mouth stuffed full of sweets that she was quick to wash down with some pop. "Why wouldn't you wanna watch stuff like this it's hilarious!"
"Uuuuuh…" Lincoln awkwardly looked around as he tried to find a way to answer Star's question. Meanwhile Jackie and Janna were giving him smug looks as Pony Head and Hekapoo gave him teasing smirks as they quickly figured out the answer themselves. "W-W-Well you see-"
"It's because snowball's too scared to watch real horror movies without wetting his pants." Janna said bluntly making Lincoln flinch and pale a bit. Of course Janna would just blurt it out like that, why was he even surprised? "Ain't that right Linc?"
"…" Lincoln was silent as he simply blushed in embarrassment.
"Aw, Lincoln," Star gushed at Lincoln in a bit of a teasing way. "Do you get scared easily~"
"He sure does," Jackie confirmed as she lightly nudged Lincoln with her shoulder as she brought up a particular memory of when she first found out about Lincoln's little fear of horror movies. "One time when were dating I dragged him to see a horror movie with me, he got so scared that I ended up cradling him like a baby, it was really cute~"
"Pfft, snowball you know the guy's supposed to comfort the girl at the movies right?" Pony Head asked as she floated next to Lincoln's head and gave him a teasing look. "Not the other way around,"
"Can we just stop talking about this and watch the movie…" Lincoln, whose face was lava red with embarrassment, asked as he gestured forward to the TV. "Please…"
"Aawww, you get scared easily huh snowball~?" Now it was Hekapoo's turn to have some fun at Lincoln's expense as she scooted right onto his lap and gave him a flirty and teasing look. "Don't worry I'll protect you if anything scary happens~"
"I hate you all…" Lincoln deadpanned causing all the girls around him to begin laughing again.
ONE MOVIE LATER
"…" Star was practically holding her breath to keep her silence. The tension in the air was thick enough to cut with a knife as Star stepped as quietly as she could through Jackie's house. 'All clear.' Star determined after seeing that no one was here. With two pillows in each hand, Star began to army crawl through the living room.
"One must take in their surroundings," Star whispered to herself the survival training tips her dad taught her. She was gonna need them all in this pillow fight, no, this pillow war! As Star crawled through the floor she saw pillows scattered around the place, left over from the start of battle. It seemed like everyone was either taking covered or hidden in some way. "Know your environment and always keep a keen eye on everything around."
"Ahem." Star's eyes widened as she heard the sound of a throat clearing…multiple throats clearing. Looking over her shoulder, Star saw Hekapoo looking down at her…multiple Hekapoos and each with a pillow in hand and aimed right at her. "Heeeeey~"
"Meep!" Star let out as all the Hekapoo's jumped right at her with their pillows ready to strike. "AH!" Star squealed as she was knocked right into the kitchen table, swirls forming in her eyes.
"Good work girls," The original Hekapoo complimented her clones after successfully taking down the princess. But this victory was short lived as a pillow was suddenly thrown with surprising strength, knocking down all her clones and causing them to disappear. "Uh-oh…"
Hekapoo narrowly dodged another pillow throw down at her by none other than Jackie. "Oh you gonna pay for that H-Poo." Jackie told the scissor maker while briefly glancing at the knocked-out princess. "Get a load of this!" Jackie then grabbed a pile of pillows off the floor and started to chuck them all at Hekapoo who quickly started to dodge which was proven easier said than done as Jackie had a surprisingly strong throw to her.
"Woah! When did you get an arm like that!?" Hekapoo yelled as Jackie just continued to chuckle pillows at her. Why did she even own that many damn pillows!? "Have you been working out or something!"
"Nope! Pure skill!" Jackie yelled as she got ready to chuck another pillow…only to be intercepted as the pillow was knocked out for her hand. Jackie narrowed her eyes as she turned to the person who stopped her and cracked her knuckles. "So…you finally decide to challenge me huh?"
"The time has finally come," Lincoln told Jackie as he twirled a pillow in each hand while looking Jackie right in the eye. "So let's dance Thomas."
"Thomas huh?" Jackie questioned as she picked two pillows up from the floor. "Oh it's on now Loud!" Lincoln and Jackie then charged at each other with their pillows out and quickly engaged in fierce combat as they tried to strike each other. But they seemed to be surprisingly even as they matched each other pillow punch for pillow punch.
"Hi-ya!" Jackie let out as she finally managed to take a light upper hand and uppercut Lincoln, sending him into the air. But as Lincoln flew back he quickly threw his pillows right as Jackie tried to block them but ended up having the pillows knocked out of her hand. "Dammit!"
"Here I come!" Lincoln grinned as he landed on the floor on all fours and quickly grabbed two nearby pillows and dashed towards Jackie as she was trying to pick her pillows back up. "Hidden Dragon Ultimate Pillow Strike!" And with that Lincoln unleashed a killer pillow fighting combo on Jackie, striking her with a series of rapid blows before finishing her off by tossing his two pillows in the air and kicking them at her and sending her into the wall with swirls in her eyes. "And that's how you pillow fight!"
Letting out a groan, Star stood up and gasped at seeing Jackie being taken down. "Jackie!" Star called out to the skate girl as she quickly ran over to her and took the beaten girl into her arms. "Come on Jackie! Speak to me!" Star then looked up and let out a wail of sorrow. "NOOOOOOOOO!"
"Sorry princess," Hekapoo spoke up as she walked up to Lincoln and the two grinned down at Star with pillows in their hands. "But you gotta go down." Star closed her eyes and expected to be bombarded with pillows and…she was but not in the way she thought.
"Sup guys," Everyone looked to the side and saw Janna holding Pony Head like a gun, her horn aimed at the four of them. "Forget about us?"
"Do it girl." Pony Head told Janna with excited smirk.
Everyone's eyes then widened as Pony Head's horn started to glow and sparkle. "Aaaaah…crapbaskets…" Lincoln let out before pillows started to fire at them at a rapid pace straight from Pony Head's horn.
Pony Head's horn was almost like a gatling gun as it continued to bury Lincoln, Hekapoo, Star, and Jackie in an ever-growing mountain of pillows. After a few seconds Janna and Pony Head finally ceased with Janna blowing some smoke off of Pony Head's horn with a smug smirk. "We win." Janna and Pony Head said bluntly as Janna pressed her first against Pony Head's horn like a fist bump.
ONE RECOVERY LATER
After taking care of all the carnage created from their pillow war, the group decided to move onto a much more tame activity that a sleepover can't go without. Make overs!
Luckily most of the girls had brought some supplies for this and quickly went to work on making each other look great and really stand out!
With Star, Janna had been the one to do her makeover and she made Star's hair look crazy and all over the place with pink sparkles over it. She had matching dark violet colored lip stick and massacre with black eyeliner. She had some sparkly diamonds painted on her forehead and had a few yellow sparkles on her hearts as well as rainbows Janna sprayed on before toping them with unicorn stickers.
With Janna, Hekapoo had been to one to work on her. She went for a look that she knew Janna would like and opposed to a traditional make over proceeded to do something more akin to face paint and made Janna's face look like a skeleton while also putting in a few white streaks in her hair. Hekapoo was right, Janna did like this a lot better than a normal make over.
Lincoln ended up doing Hekapoo's make up and the scissor maker had to admit he did a good job. Hekapoo was now wearing black lipstick and black mascara with dark red eyeliner, as well as a few black streaks done up in her hair.
Jackie had been the one to do Pony Head's makeover which consisted of painting star marks on Pony Head's cheeks, give her matching lip stick to Star, giving her some black mascara, and did her hair up and put sparkles in it.
Star had done Jackie's make up and decided to keep it simple as Jackie preferred the more natural look. She simply painted orange seashell marks on Jackie's cheeks like when she uses the wand, some lipstick that matched the streak in her hair, as well some light blue eye linger.
And that just left one person in need of a makeover.
And all the girls were working together to fix him up nicely.
"Hmmmm, I think his hair would look better like this." Star said as she worked on Lincoln's hair with an excited grin. "The ponytail's nice but this'll really make him look pretty~!"
"Just you wait q-tip." Pony Head said with a grin as she used her horn to levitate a makeup brush up to Lincoln's cheek. "We gonna make you a beautiful man!"
"Hmmmm, I think this color of lipstick works best on him," Jackie said with an amused smile as she applied some of the lipstick her choice to Lincoln. "Goes well with his usual color."
"Can't forget about the eyeliner and mascara though." Janna stated with her usual smile on her face. This was far from the first time she's helped put make up on Lincoln, mostly due to his sisters, but this was certainly feeling like a special occasion. "His eyes have gotta stand out above all."
"Can't forget about the flash stuff though~" Hekapoo told everyone with a smirk as she decided to put some jewelry onto Lincoln. Stuff like rings, a necklace, and clip on earrings. "Gotta have some accessories to bring it all out~"
"Are you guys done yet…" Lincoln asked with a tired tone. He's been in this situation more than any sort of man should be.
"Almost…." Pony Head slowly said with a smirk as she put on the finishing touches. "Aaaaaaand boom! Done! Aaaaaaww, you look so pretty now!"
"Just hand me a mirror." Lincoln deadpanned as he held his hand out. Janna gladly handed Lincoln the hand mirror and allowed him to see just what they had done to him. Looking at his face Lincoln saw that his hair was now in braided pigtails, he had a snowflake earring on his right ear and a fire earring on his left ear, and a silver necklace with multiple orange gems in it. As for makeup Jackie had put dark purple lipstick on him to go with his orange pajama's with Pony Head putting on some brightly colored blush on his cheeks, finally Janna had put on some light orange mascara as well as black eyeliner to complete the look. "…Yep, this was about what I was expecting."
"Aw come on Lincoln you look so beautiful now!" Star brightly smiled as she looked at her and the other girl's handywork. The princess realized this sounded kind of narcissistic, but this was real 10/10 work! "Don't you think so ladies~"
"Absolutely~" Jackie nodded and chuckled a bit at Lincoln's expense. "Look like you could be a super model snowball~"
"Agreed~ You shouldn't be ashamed to show your beautiful side Linc~" Hekapoo stepped in and did what she did best. Teasing the hell out of her favorite snowball. She sat right next to him, leaned close, and circled a finger on his chest. "I bet you'd make a pretty girl~"
"And he was already close to being one with the ponytail," Janna just decided to lean back on a beanbag chair and just enjoy the absolutely amazing show in front of her right now. "Hey Star any chance you got a gender switching spell to complete the look?"
"Ok you know what," Lincoln spoke up as he rose up both of his index fingers and pointed them at all the girls. He wasn't gonna take all of this sitting down. "You're all just teasing me because you're all just jealous I pull this off better than any of you could."
"Pfft, sure Lincoln," Star leaned forward with a smug smirk and made her ultimate retaliation. "Or should I say…Princess Liberty~?"
"Oh no…" Lincoln's eyes widened in horror. Great…she was bringing that up now.
"Princess Liberty?" Janna questioned before breaking out into a rather eager smirk. "Oh I gotta hear what this is about."
"Oh just you wait~" Hekapoo told Janna while continuing to cling onto Lincoln who was now wallowing in his past shames. "This story's fun~"
"Please don't tell her…" Other than his own family, the last person he wanted to know about the whole Liberty thing was freaking Janna.
"Aw but you made such a pretty princess~" Jackie took her turn in fueling the shameful fires of Lincoln.
"Oh girl you gotta hear about this." Pony Head grinned widely and floated up to Janna and told the whole story. "Ok so like, it was my b-day and I was at Saint Olga's while it still sucked ass and B-Fly, snowball, Jackie, and H-Poo-"
"Don't call me that!" Hekapoo grumbled angrily.
But Pony Head continued on, not bothering to register what the scissor maker said. "All teamed up to save me and so B-Fly disguised Jackie and Lincoln as princesses!" Janna had to cover her mouth with her hands to keep herself from laughing out loudly. "And so snowball went by Princess Liberty as a cover name and pretty much started a revolution with the other princesses and they all liberated the school! Now all the girls there practically worship him, they got Liberty posters, statues, and junk like that all over the school! Pretty sure even one of the girls has a Princess Liberty shrine in her room. Heck they even started to sell Princess Liberty merchandise at Quest Buy and stuff."
"Wait a minute." Star quickly turned to Lincoln. This was the first time she heard about this! "You have merchandise?"
Lincoln let out a sigh as he shook his head. "Yes I do," Lincoln wasn't exactly proud of it…but he couldn't deny the benefits of it. "I get a $650 royalty check every month."
"And when exactly were you gonna tell me about this?" Star asked with narrowed eyes as she put her hands on her hips.
"Preferably never," Lincoln bluntly stated. "Because I know you would just use it as more ammo to tease me with."
"…Hehehe, yeah I would." Star's words and tone only supported Lincoln's point.
"Pfft, hahahahaha!" Finally Janna couldn't hold it back anymore as she started laughing so hard she ended up having to clutch her stomach. Her laughter quickly spread onto everyone else except Lincoln who just stared at the creepy girl blanky. Yep, he knew this was gonna happen. Just had to accept it and let it pass. "Ooh…oh I am so calling you Liberty from now on."
"Ugh…" Lincoln rubbed his temples as he quickly felt a headache coming to him. "Please don't…"
"Why not Liberty?" Janna was already at it. No way was she ever referring to Lincoln as anything else ever again.
"You know she's just gonna do that from now on, no way to stop it Lincoln." Jackie told Lincoln with an amused smile on her face. This was going even better than she ever could have hoped. "Might as well just accept it."
"Can we just move on please!" Lincoln yelled out loudly, making the other girls giggle. "So what's next on the agenda?"
Before Jackie could speak up, Pony Head suddenly floated up and got all eyes on her. "Oh I got this!" Pony Head decided to bring out something she brought just for this sleep over. Something they were all gonna have a blast playing. "I brought the perfect game for us to play! Check it!"
Pony Head then started to shake her neck stump around and caused a few things to fall out of her head or…whatever was up her neck? Pony Head biology was weird. Things from nail polish, to sparkles, and just a few pieces of junk fell out but after a moment Pony Head finally brought out the thing she brought. It appeared to be a cube that was a bluish-green cube with lighter blue lines covering all of its sides like a circuit board.
"Huh, what's that Pony?" Star asked as everyone eyed the box curiously. All of them, except for Hekapoo who froze at the sight of the box.
"It's called Truth or Punishment." Pony Head revealed to everyone as the box let out an eerie glow. "It's all about telling your friends your deepest, darkest secrets."
"AAAAAAHHH!" Hekapoo screamed out as she quickly scooped up the box in her hands before anyone could even think to touch. "Nope! Nope! Nope! A THOUSAND TIMES NOPE!"
Everyone was taken aback by Hekapoo's sudden outburst as they all looked at the scissor maker with freaked out looks. "Woah Hekapoo where's the fire?" Lincoln asked as Hekapoo held the box like it was a ticking time bomb. "What's wrong?"
"You!" Hekapoo pointed at Pony Head and glared fiercely at her, making the floating princess flinch. "What the hell were you thinking bringing this here?! You trying to kill us or something?!"
"Yo chill out girl!" Pony Head yelled back at Hekapoo, not appreciating the words thrown her way. "It's just a game isn't it?"
"NO! This isn't a game!" Hekapoo told everyone as she pointed to the box in her hands. What they thought was a game was one of the most dangerous magical items ever conceived. "This is the Box of Truth. A merciless truth seeker that the Magical High Commission uses for trials for only the most dangerous criminals in the multiverse. If even one person lies you ALL suffer the consequences, and they can be deadly!"
"So a deadly truth seeker then?" Lincoln deadpanned as he looked to Pony Head. "Way to go Pony, sounds like a real fun activity."
"First it was my scissors and now this?!" Pony Head didn't even have hands! Hekapoo didn't even understand how she was getting her nonexistent mitts on this kinda stuff! "How do you even get these things?!"
"Hey don't get all uppity with me," Pony Head rolled her eyes as she looked away from Hekapoo. She wouldn't admit it but now she was starting to feel bad about bringing a deadly magical item to a party meant to cheer Star up. "I just found it at Quest Buy, sheesh."
"Quest Buy?" Hekapoo questioned, wondering how exactly the Box of Truth ended up in a Quest Buy…until she quickly realized the obvious answer. "Ugh….Rhombulus…"
"Whose Rhombulus?" Jackie asked with a raised brow.
"Just some retard from work…" Hekapoo sighed out before looking over the box and frowning even more. "You didn't even have it set to the right setting! It's set to Bachelorette!"
"Bachelorette?" Star asked in a confused tone. "Why would a merciless truth-seeking box have a bachelorette setting?"
"…It's a lot of bull shit…" Hekapoo brushed a part of her hair with a hand as she remembered exactly what this setting was. "Rhina played this at her bachelorette party and...I don't wanna talk about..."
"Okay in my defense I didn't know Q-Tip would be here." Pony Head stated as she looked at the only guy in the room right now. "I thought this was gonna be a girls only sleep over."
"Well according to these people I'm feminine enough to join in." Lincoln explained, he just didn't care about that anymore. "So…yeah…"
"Oh hell no!" Hekapoo acted quick and opened up a portal and yeeted the Box of Truth through it.
UNKNOWN DIMENSION
"Wooooooah!" A young Taiwanese-American girl let out she found herself waking up in a large extraordinary looking city. "What is this pla-OOF!"
But before she could examine any further suddenly a portal opened up right behind her with the Box of Truth flying out and hitting her in the back of the head causing the poor girl to fall down a flight of stairs, a long flight of stairs.
EARTH
"Hey!" Pony Head let out as she just tossed the cube into some random dimension. "Ok you like owe me forty dollars!"
"Nope! No way are we playing THAT thing!" Hekapoo told everyone firmly, leaving no room for argument. "Like I said even one of us lie and we all suffer the consequences!"
"…..So…." Jackie decided to speak up after an awkward moment of silence. "Anyone up for truth or dare earth style?"
"Sure." Lincoln nodded.
"I'm down." Star smiled.
"Alright." Janna shrugged.
"Ugh, fiiiiine." Pony Head rolled her eyes.
Hekapoo allowed herself to breathe a sigh of relief as she sat back down. "Alright then," Hekapoo relaxed herself now that they were out of the danger zone and gave Jackie a raised brow. "How do we play earth truth or dare?"
"Oh simple." Jackie smiled as she got up and grabbed a glass bottle she was saving just for this occasion. "Its proper name is spin the bottle. So someone offers to do a truth or dare first and after they do or say what they are asked, that person spins the bottle and whoever its pointing at the person who went last can choose a truth or dare for that person and it just goes on till you stop."
"Ok that sounds fine but like what's to stop people from lying?" Pony Head pointed out an obvious flaw in this game compared to the Box of Truth. "Kinda kills the fun if you're not forced to tell the truth."
"Oh! I got this!" Star grinned as she took out her wand. She had just the solution to that problem. "One of my great grandma's Festiva," Hekapoo flinched a bit as Star mentioned that name. "Had a spell just for this occasion!" Star then stood up and started twirling her wand around in specific motions. "Some are evil, some are kind, but now, all must speak their mind!" Star then fired a halo out of her wand right at the bottle. The halo was absorbed by the bottle, making it glow gold for a brief moment. "There we go! Now whoever the bottle is pointing at should only be able to speak the truth, ya know hopefully."
"I'll test it out." Janna offered as she pointed the bottle at herself without a hint of hesitation. "I'm always down for testing out weird magical stuff."
"Alright then, I'll be the one to ask then." Lincoln rose his hand as he turned to Janna. "So Janna, truth or dare?"
"Truth," Janna said without a hint of worry. "Go ahead, ask me anything. I'm an open book."
"Hmmmm, well let's just start with something simple." Lincoln didn't wanna go all out from the start so decided to ask an easy question. "What's your favorite color?"
"Pfft, that's an easy one." Janna waved it off like it was nothing. "My favorite color is blaaaaaaa-Pink! I love pink! It's my favorite color!" Janna was unable to control herself as she blurted that out and, as soon as she finish, she quickly covered her mouth and blushed in embarrassment.
Everyone was silent at first as they looked at Janna in complete surprise. "Huh…" Jackie was completely caught off guard with that answer. She figured that would be Janna's least favorite color. "Wasn't expecting that."
"Hey the spell works!" Star cheered with a smile.
"…" Janna was silent as she continued to blush in embarrassment. She shouldn't have agreed to test this out.
"Soooo…" Lincoln was quick to take advantage of this as he looked at Janna with a teasing smirk. "Pink huh~?"
"Shut up Liberty!" Janna growled out as she blushed even brighter.
"Oh I know what I'm getting you for your birthday~" Lincoln chuckled, making Janna let out another growl in response.
"Zip it!" Janna yelled as she spun the bottle around. After a few moments it stopped and pointed at Jackie. "Alright Jackie truth or dare?"
"Hmmmm, truth." Jackie said with her usual cool tone and a smile. "I got nothing to hide, lay it on me."
"Ok then, well you're mostly a levelheaded person." Janna said as she looked over Jackie and decided on her question. "But tell me, what's your fear? Everyone has that one thing they're afraid of."
"I get claustrophobic." Jackie didn't even try to fight against the spell and told everyone with no shame in her voice.
"Really?" Pony Head asked with a raised brow.
"Yeeeeah," Jackie slowly nodded her head. "I can't handle tight spaces that well."
"That explains why you hesitated to jump down the chute at Saint O's." Hekapoo nodded her head as she remembered Jackie being a bit afraid to go down the laundry chute to escape the guards at the prison-school. "Was wondering what that was about.
"Hey it's okay Jackie," Star reassured Jackie by putting a hand on her shoulder. "No one's judging you, we all got our weaknesses."
"Heh, thanks girl." Jackie sent Star a thankful smile before spinning the bottle herself, the bottle pointing at Pony Head. "So what'll it be Pony? Truth or dare?"
"Eh, might as well keep the truth train going." Pony Head shrugged, well, tried to shrug anyway despite not having shoulders.
"Ok…" Jackie was hoping they would finally get to doing some dares, but she did have a question she's been wanting to ask Pony Head for quite a while. "No offense or anything but I gotta ask…why do you act so egotistical all the time?"
Pony Head's eyes widened as she looked around awkwardly. "Uuum…" Beads of sweat went down Pony Head's forehead as she tried to fight against the truth spell, but it was no use as she spilled the beans completely. "I act loud and boastful to drown out my thoughts and avoiding sinking in the suffocating awareness of the unforgiving and futile nature of existence!"

Everything other than the sound of Pony Head breathing could be heard after that. Everyone else froze and simply stared at the pony princess with complete shock. "…..Wow…." Everyone muttered in unison.
"…It's just something that's always bothered me ok," Pony Head admitted as she averted her gaze from everyone. "And I gotta do something to get my mind off it so don't you all judge me k?!"
"No, no, we…we get it…" Lincoln awkwardly cleared his throat before scratching the back of his head. That…was certainly a lot to take in. Quite frankly Pony Head was the last person he expected to think about…that kinda stuff. "That uh…that makes sense…"
"…Yeah so imma just spin it now and we can all forget this happened! Sound good? Alright sounds good!" Before anyone could say anything else Pony Head spun the bottle with her tongue, this time landing on Star. "Ooooo! Yes! Alright B-Fly you gonna do truth or dare girl?"
"Hmmmm…ah what the heck, if no one else is man enough to do it I will!" Star grinned as she happily welcomed whatever might befall her should she choose this. "Give me a dare Pony!"
"Ooooooo!" Everyone let out as they stared at Star as she crossed her arms bravely.
"Well someone's feeling bold tonight." Pony Head smirked at her best friend as she thought a bit what dare she wanted to give the Mewman. "Ok I got it! I want you…to be my body!"
"Huh?" Star needed Pony Head to explain that a little better.
"Oh you know, just tuck your head into your shirt or something and let me be your new head!" Pony Head explained with a bit of an excited smile. "Come on it'll be fun!"
"Heheh, alright then let's do it!" Star grinned and stood up before burying her head into her sleep gown. "Alright Pony you're good to go!"
"Woohoo! Alright!" Pony Head cheered and she immediately set herself on top of Star's head through the neck hole of the sleeping gown, making it look like her head was now on Star's body. "Oh yeah! Look at me everyone! I got a body now! Check it out!" Star then decided to play along as she started jogging in place, making Pony Head even happier. "Look at me jog! I got that workout routine all set! Gotta keep my body in shape!"
"Hehehe, go Pony Head!" Jackie cheered as she and everyone couldn't help but laugh at the goofy sight. "How about giving us a dance?"
"Oh you got it girl!" Pony Head nodded as Star started to dance in place to continue to play along. "Uh-huh! Oh yeah! You all got moves like this! Cause I don't think you do! I am the queen of the dancing!"
"So hey how long are you gonna be Star's new head exactly?" Lincoln asked with an amused smirk as an idea came to his head. "Because I have a little idea for how you could use this~"
FLIPS FOOD AND FUEL
"HmmmmHmmmm…" Flip merely hummed to himself as he read from the newspaper while enjoying some extra cheesy nachoes.
"Yo, smelly dude," Pony Head's voice was heard as Star placed six flippees in front of him on the counter. "Six flip things or whatever you call em."
"That'll be eight dol-do-doooooolllll…what?" As Flip looked up at the person in front of him…he swore it looked like a unicorn's head on a human's body. "Uuuuuh…"
"What?" Pony Head struggled to hold in her laughter and sound offend over the little prank. She had to give it to snowball, this was a good prank idea. "Got something you wanna say huh?"
"N-No it's just, it's uh…" Flip knew that if he said something offensive he was gonna lose the sale at best…or suffer the wrath of this freak of nature. "You uh, you look…"
"Yeah? How do I look?" Star leaned forward so Pony Head got right in front of Flip's face. "Huh? Huh?! Spit it out punk!"
"…Nothing…" Flip squeaked a bit in fear. "That'll…That'll be eight dollars please…."
"Yeeeeeah, that's what I thought." Pony Head narrowed her eyes and slowly shook her head at Flip as Star took out eight dollars out of her gown's pocket. "I got my eye on you!" Star then took the flippees as she and Pony Head left the gas station.
"…" Flip was silent as he looked at the tray of nachos he had and slowly pushed them away. "I think I gotta lay off the nacho cheese…"
"BAHAHAHAHA!" Everyone laughed after Star and Pony head returned, the two separated again, and handed everyone a flippee while also explaining Flip's reaction to the whole thing.
"You should have seen his face!" Pony Head laughed loudly before taking a sip of her flippee. "It was like, SOOOO hard not to laugh!"
"Told you that would be good," Lincoln chuckled before looking to Star. "Alright Star, you're turn now."
"Let's do this." Star eagerly rubbed her hands together before spinning the bottle, the bottle stopping on Hekapoo. "Oooooo, this should be interesting. Truth or dare Hekapoo?"
"Think I'll go with truth," Hekapoo casually shrugged as she took a sip of her flippee. "Go ahead and ask whatever,"
"Hmmmm, ok…" Star thought about what to ask Hekapoo without getting into anything too personal. Like what she was up to after that babysitting job. Star knew that was personal and should only be told when Hekapoo was ready. So she settled on something else that should be fun to find out. "What sort of stuff do you like that no one else knows about?"
"Tch what do you mean?" Hekapoo was quick to deny anything as she crossed her arms and looked away. "I'm not hiding anyyyyyyyyy-I like cute fluffy animals like the plushy Lincoln won for me I cuddle it every night!" Similar with Janna Hekapoo was quick to cover her mouth as she blushed, the flame above her head burning brighter as well.
"Aaaaawww," All the girls let out towards Hekapoo.
"Now that's just precious~" Jackie grinned as she clapped her hands together.
"Aaaww, that's adorable Hekapoo." Lincoln smiled as he took the chance to get back at Hekapoo's teasing. "You like cute little fluffy things~?"
"Shut up!" Hekapoo yelled as she got right in front of Lincoln's face.
"Want me to go get the laser puppies from home~?" Star offered with a smug look.
"Hmph!" Hekapoo pouted cutely and looked away from everyone.
"Heheh, your just looking more cute H-Poo~" Lincoln told the scissor maker as he booped her cheek.
Hekapoo had enough of this! She was supposed to be the teaser not the teasee! So, after spinning the bottle, she was more than happy for it to land on Lincoln. "Oh time for revenge." Hekapoo rubbed her hands with an evil smirk as she looked at Lincoln. "Truth or dare snowball~"
"Truth." Lincoln said with no hesitation. "Go ahead. I'm an open book."
"Okay Casanova." Hekapoo crossed her arms as she looked Lincoln right in the eye. "How many people have you kissed that's not your family~?"
Lincoln's eyes widened, but before he could even try and fight the spell he blurted the answer. "3 people!" Lincoln revealed to everyone. "Ronnie Anne, Jackie and Zach accidentally at a field trip!"
"Pfffft!" Star let out as she struggled not to burst out laughing on the spot. "You kissed Zach? Ahahaha!"
"Ah man why wasn't I around to see this?" Janna would have taken countless pictures of that event and sold em for a killing.
"Hehehehe seriously!" Jackie held her stomach as she laughed loudly. "I thought you had standards!"
"Yeah I got no idea who this Zach guy is, but it sounds totally embarrassing, hahaha!" It was now Pony Head's turn to laugh at Lincoln's expense. "But daaaamn snowball sounds like you got game."
"Well aren't you a little Casanova~" Hekapoo scratched Lincoln's chin as he blushed in complete embarrassment.
"Please…no more words…" Lincoln said as he quickly spun the bottle to move on from this. After a moment the bottle pointed at Jackie. "Alright Jackie truth or dare?"
"Hmmm, ah what the heck." Jackie shrugged with a smirk. "Dare."
"Alright then…I know this is an old meme but I wanna see if you can pull it off." Lincoln grinned before turning to Star. "Hey Star mind magicing me up a bag of marshmallows?" Star nodded and used her wand to make a bag of large marshmallows appear in Lincoln's hands. "I dare you to stuff ten marshmallows in your mouth and say Chubby Bunny."
"Ah ok, an oldie but a goodie," Jackie nodded with an amused smile as she opened up the bag of marshmallows Lincoln handed her. "You're on," Jackie then got to work with stuffing the marshmallows into her mouth. The first three were pretty easy but after that it was beginning to get more and more difficult to stuff them inside. She practically had to forcibly jam the last two marshmallows in mouth, but she was eventually able to get them in. But then came the really hard party. "Mmbby Bummy-BLECH!" Right after saying that Jackie ended up spitting out all the marshmallows causing everyone to back away from her and laughing. "Ugh, I did it! I said it! You all heard it!"
"Heheheh, good job Jackie." Star clapped as Jackie rubbed her slightly sore cheeks.
It was now Jackie's turn to spin the bottle again and once she did the bottle aimed itself at Lincoln again. "Looks like you're up again Loud." Jackie grinned up at Lincoln. "Truth or dare?"
"Well…I went with truth last time so bring on the dares Jackie." Lincoln knew this was gonna be very risky but he was willing to take on whatever this girl had in store. "Give me your worst."
"Heheh, if you say so~" Jackie said in a sing song tone that sent shivers down Lincoln's tone. She could ask him to do something embarrassing, but they kinda already did that with the makeover so she decided to keep this one more fun. "I dare you…to pull a prank call!"
"…Huh…that was a lot tamer than I was expecting." Lincoln certainly wasn't gonna look a gift horse in the mouth and nodded in agreement. "Ok let me think…hmmmm…"
"Oh! I got an idea!" Hekapoo gave a mischievous grin as she gestured Star to come over to them. Star rose a brow but shrugged and went over to her and Lincoln. Hekapoo huddled the three of them together and whispered her idea to them. "Sound good?"
"Oh that's devious." Lincoln nodded and smirked in response. "I'm in."
"Let me get the voice altering spell ready~" Star sang out excited as Hekapoo took out her compact phone and started dialing up a 'friend' from work.
"Wait who are you guys calling?" Jackie asked with her, Janna, and Pony Head raising their brows.
THE CRYSTAL DIMENSION
The Crystal Dimension was…pretty self-explanatory really. It was a dimension practically made entirely of crystal, although some crystals didn't look natural and had people from all over the multiverse trapped inside. Including what looked like a pizza delivery man.
And in one particular home in this dimension…
Ring! Ring! Ring!
"Just a minute! Don't hang up!" Stepping out from a room dripping wet with a towel wrapped around his waist was none other than Rhombulus from the Magical High Commission. As soon as he heard the phone ringing he quickly made a beeline for it and managed to answer it just in time. "Hello? You'll have to speak up I'm wearing a towel."
"Rhombulus! Thank goodness I was able to reach you!" Rhombulus heard…his own voice coming from the other line? What the heck was this? "I thought I'd never be able to hear from you ever again!"
"Wait hold on who is this?" Rhombulus asked with a confused tone. "Why do you sound exactly like me?"
"You don't remember me?" The Rhombulus sound-alike asked in a hurt tone. "It's me! You're long-lost twin brother! Triangulus!"
"Twin brother?" Rhombulus was only getting more confused by the second. "I have a twin brother? You sure you got the right guy?"
"Of course I do! I promise I'm your brother!" Triangulus pleaded with a desperate tone. "Glossaryck kept me a secret from you just to be a jerk and so you would always have this lingering feeling of losing someone close to you!"
"…That does sound like something Glossaryck would do!" And with that Rhombulus was now completely convinced that this was his long-lost twin brother. "Brother! I can't believe it's you! W-Where are you?! Where have you been?!"
"I've been captured by evil people!" Triangulus revealed, making Rhombulus gasp loudly. "They're currently keeping me in the cat faced dimension but they constantly move me around and-oh no! They're coming back! No! Not the buzzsaws! NOOOOOO-" And with that the call cut off.
"Triangulus? Triangulus! Speak to me!" Rhombulus' eye then narrowed in determination as he took out his dimensional scissors. "Don't worry brother! I'll save you!" Rhombulus then opened up a portal and quickly jumped through it, determined to save his long-lost twin brother.
EARTH
"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Everyone in the room broke out in laughter once they finished their prank call that was an absolute success.
"Oh! Oh! I can't breathe!" Pony Head laughed out as she rolled around on the floor.
"I can't believe he actually fell for that!" Star chuckled out as she kicked her legs around. She doesn't think she's laughed this hard before and that was saying a lot. "You were right Hekapoo he is as dumb as a rock!"
"I told you!" Hekapoo slapped her knee and laughed. "That guy will fall for anything!"
"Oh…Oh man that was great…" Lincoln's face had a massive grin on it. He's never pulled a prank call before but he was so glad he did now. After giving everyone a moment to calm down and cease their laugher Lincoln took his turn to spin the bottle, now landing on Hekapoo once more. "Truth or dare H-Poo?"
"Grrrr…" Hekapoo growled in annoyance over the nickname before choosing. "Dare. Can't let myself be one upped by you nerds."
"Alright~" Lincoln knew this dare was a dirty one…but he had to get back at Hekapoo somehow for all her teasing and this was the perfect way to do it. "I dare you…to lick your own elbow~"
Immediately everyone gave, sans Hekapoo, Lincoln disappointed looks. "Boooooo!" Star let out while giving the white head a thumbs down.
"For shame Liberty." Janna shook her head at Lincoln.
"That's a dirty trick Loud." Jackie told Lincoln while pointing at him.
"Hey it's called payback," Lincoln felt no shame in his dare and was just gonna enjoy the struggle Hekapoo would have. "Can't blame me for wanting a taste of that."
"…Yeah alright." But to everyone's surprise Hekapoo simply shrugged and had a look of complete confidence as she rose up her elbow. "Don't worry Jackie. I got this one~" Hekapoo then got to work as she stuck her tongue out and aimed it at her elbow. But to everyone's shock instead of stopping and failing to get anywhere near the elbow…her tongue kept going.
Lincoln's and everyone else's eyes widened as they watched the sight. "Whaaaaaat the..." Lincoln let out as he watched Hekapoo's tongue stick out.
"Woah cool!" Janna watched the scene with complete interest.
Lick.
"Ta-da~!" Hekapoo let out with her tongue out. Everyone was able to get a clear view of the scissor maker's tongue which appeared to be snake-like and was at least a foot long.
"Ok wow that's new…" Star muttered out in shock.
"…" Lincoln was completely silent as he stared at the tongue with a red face.
"Dude," Jackie leaned up to Lincoln's ear and whispered to him with a teasing smile. "You're starring."
"Wha-wha-what?" Lincoln let out as he snapped back into reality.
"Aaaaawww~" Hekapoo smirked teasingly as she put her tongue back inside her mouth. "You like what you see~?"
"N-N-No way!" Lincoln was glad the bottle wasn't pointing at him and keeping him from lying. "I'm not some sort of weird perv!"
"Hey relax Liberty," Janna told Lincoln with her usual tone and look. "We all got those sides to us."
"And you got it baaaaad!" Pony Head floated right up to Lincoln as she said that, enjoying watching the white head squirm around like this.
"Just spin the bottle so we can continue the game!" Lincoln snapped as he rose his hands into the air.
"Hehehe alright~" Hekapoo decided to relent…for now~ But something strange soon happened. As she tried to spin the bottle it stayed in place. Before she could try anything else the bottle suddenly began to glow gold as it stood up all on its own. "Uh, princess? What's going on here?"
"Ooooooh…I forgot about this part of the spell." Star said as everyone looked towards her. "Ok don't worry everyone, this is just a truth lightning around. The bottle is gotta beam up a question and we all just gotta answer it, easy peasy." But Star would soon eat her words as the bottle projected a beam of light that had its question in it…

"…" Lincoln, Hekapoo, and Star went dead silent as they looked up at the question. They were gonna have to…oh no…
The bottle then fell back down and moved on its own and aimed itself at Pony Head. "So we all gotta reveal our crushes huh?" Pony Head asked with a confident smile. "Oh this should be interesting~ Well then if that's the case if we're really being honest here, and we're gonna be vulnerable, I guess I just have to admit it and say…it's me! I love myself!"
"Still trying to grasp the meaning of existence huh Pony?" Jackie asked with a smirk causing Pony Head to frown at her and blow steam out of her nose.
The bottle then moved again and pointed at Janna. "Well, I think we all know who I have a crush on. Don't we, Liberty?" Janna asked Lincoln with a rather seductive smirk as Lincoln's eyes widened in shock. "Eighteenth-century poet John Keats."
"Phew…" Lincoln breathed a sigh of relief. Ok Janna was just messing with him. Thank goodness. He did like her…but not in that way. But he would soon reveal who he liked that way as the bottle turned towards him. Everyone in the room stared at him with everyone but Hekapoo gave him awaiting smiles as they all knew who he would reveal to be his crush, it'll just be satisfying for him to admit it. "Alright then…here goes…" Lincoln took a deep breath to ready himself…before gesturing a hand towards Hekapoo. "It's Hekapoo."
"Eeeeeeee!" Star let out a high-pitched squeal as soon as Lincoln revealed. Finally! He finally admitted after so long! "Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!"
"Bout time dude," Jackie gave Lincoln a supportive nod. She knew Lincoln had the hots for her and it was also obvious to see that Hekapoo had a thing for him. All they needed was a push just like this to finally get the ball rolling. "Congrats."
"…What?" Hekapoo suddenly felt her face quickly turning red as her heart started beating more than it ever had before. The flame above her head quickly formed a large heart. Lincoln…really had a crush on her. She did like to tease him a lot, especially with her body but…she didn't think he actually had a legitimate crush on her. "R…Really?"
"Yes, I…really do Hekapoo." Lincoln confirmed it as he looked right at Hekapoo, starring deep into her eyes. "I have a big crush on you. Looking back it's kinda obvious…"
"I…wow…" Hekapoo struggled to make a response as she tried to cover her blush with her hands. She was able to feel just how much she heated up as she touched her face. It didn't help that she couldn't stop a smile from coming to her face. "I honestly…didn't expect that…"
"Seriously?" Pony Head looked at Hekapoo like she was the most oblivious person in the multiverse. Even a blind person could see it! "Girl he oogles over you whenever he has the chance!"
"No I-Yes I do!" The bottle stopped Lincoln from lying. "Damn that bottle!"
"Wow…" Hekapoo whispered as she looked down at the floor. Lincoln…really had feelings for her?
And then the bottle turned towards Hekapoo herself, making her flinch. "Alright Hekapoo, I think it's your turn now~" Now it was Hekapoo's turn to have everyone stare at her. And all the other girls knew what her answer was gonna be.
"Oh no please…" Hekapoo wanted to make a portal and get out of here right now but for some reason she couldn't seem to work up the nerve to do that.
"The power of the bottle compels you~" Janna grinned as she looked right at Hekapoo.
"I don't have a….a…mmmmmmmm…" Hekapoo tried her best to resist, but she was unable to fight against the truth spell of the bottle. "IT'S LINCOLN! I HAVE A CRUSH ON LINCOLN LOUD!"
"YES!" Star stood right up and cheered loudly, a giant smile on the princess' face. "I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT!"
"That was also super obvious~" Jackie then leaned back and watched, hopefully, a romance began to bloom.
"Hehehe, good for you Liberty," Janna shot Lincoln a thumbs up.
"…" Lincoln was stunned silent as he stared at Hekapoo, trying to process what he just heard.
"…" Hekapoo was also silent as she looked back at Lincoln. She tried to look away, but she just couldn't for some reason.
"You….me…r-really?" Lincoln slowly said as he pointed at her and then himself. Him having a crush on her, yeah that was pretty obvious but…did she really feel the same?
"Y…Yeah…" Hekapoo slowly nodded as she shyly started to twiddle her thumbs around. "I... really like you..."
As they were talking Janna quickly took her phone and started to record this. She just had to tape this awkward mess. "W-Wow…I…I didn't expect that…" Lincoln scratched the back of his head awkwardly. His mind was struggling to get itself back on track…but he couldn't help but admit how good this felt to finally get this all off his chest as well as hear that Hekapoo felt the same. She…really liked him. "For how long?"
"I don't know…awhile I guess…" Hekapoo shrugged as she quickly started to feel uncomfortable. She wasn't used to…talking about feelings that much. Didn't help that everyone in the room was watching them like they were a soap opera. "Can we...talk about this later…please?"
"Y-Yeah…" Lincoln cleared his throat and nodded his head as everyone in the room giggled. "We should talk about…us later." Hekapoo nodded in agreement as that stupid bottle finally moved away from her.
Next up was Jackie. "Hmmmm…" Everyone, especially Star, looked at Jackie in anticipation. What kind of feelings did the normally chillaxed and down to earth skater girl hold within her. "I gotta say…I don't really know."
"Huh?" Everyone let out in surprise.
"Girl what do you mean by that?" Pony Head asked with a confused look. What did she mean she didn't know who her crush was?
"Well…it's weird I guess." Jackie scratched her cheek. It was hard to explain but she tried her best to have everyone understand what she meant. "I mean there is someone that I've kind grown attached to…but I don't really know if I have a crush on them or not. Maybe it is a crush, maybe it's a really close friendship or…something else. I just can't say I know."
"Hmm, I can understand that." Lincoln nodded in understanding. He could get what Jackie was explaining, that's just how people can be sometimes. "Emotions can be a…complicated thing sometimes." As he said that Lincoln and Hekapoo glanced at each other before looking away, small smiles on their faces.
"Heh, ain't that the truth." Jackie chuckled a bit before smirking at Lincoln. "Looks like you got things figured out though~"
"I-I guess so…" Lincoln stuttered as he and Hekapoo blushed brightly.
"…" Meanwhile Star was completely silent as she stared at Jackie as she explained things. Star…didn't know what to feel? Hurt? Relieved? Now she was confused about this but for a different reasons. But…finally the bottle pointed towards the last person in the room.
Her.
"…..Mmmm…" Star did her best to resist. To keep her mouth from opening up and spilling everything. She…She couldn't. Besides it…it wasn't right…she can't say this. She gripped her knees tightly to the point where she winced in pain. "Mmmmm…." And as she continued to resist…Star started flashing purple.
"Star…" Lincoln's eyes widened as he noticed this. It was hard to tell if anyone else did though. "Is everything alright?"
"T-Totally fine…" Star bit her lip to keep herself from blurting it out.
"So B-Fly who you crushing on?" Pony Head floated close to Star so she could take in all the juicy details.
"Please tell me you don't still have the hots for that Oscar bum?" Hekapoo remembered when Star told her about Oscar and needless to say…she's never been more disappointed in someone's taste in men. Then again she was one to talk as…until recently she usually only went for the dum-dums.
"I-I…I…" Star flashed purple again as she covered her mouth with her hands.
"Wow Star are you okay?" Jackie could practically feel how much this was affecting Star. It's like she was doing everything in her power to keep herself from telling the truth and it seemed to be hurting her. "I'm starting to get worried."
"Mmmmmm…" Star clenched her eyes shut, each second keeping it in was worse than than the last.
"Come on Star what's the big deal?" Janna asked as she started to notice the pain Star seemed to be in. "What you got a crush on Lincoln too, hehe."
"Janna please don't start that." Lincoln deadpanned at the creepy girl.
"IT'S JACKIE!" And then, everyone went quiet as Star finally shouted her answer. Beads of tears started to form on the princess' eyes.
"…" No one said anything as they watched Star take heavy breaths, like she was exhausted.
"H-Huh…" Jackie let out as a blush started coming to her cheeks as she eyed the princess. Star's crush…was her?
"Fine I'll just say it!" Star shouted out in frustration as she glared at the floor. "I have a crush on Jackie Lynn Thomas! Happy now!?"
"…Huh…" Pony Head stared at her best friend in surprise. She thought she knew everything about the Mewman princess but…that was certainly a new detail. "Didn't expect that…"
"Yeah same here." Hekapoo was also a bit surprised but not as much as the others. When you go around the multiverse you encounter plenty of strange things and this didn't exactly reach the top of that list. "Didn't know you swung that way princess."
"Me neither!" Star shouted before burying her head in her legs. "Ugh…"
"I, uh, w-wow…" Jackie didn't know to respond to this but…she certainly wasn't against it. "Star I…I had no idea…"
"…" But Star was completely silent.
"Star?" Jackie spoke up in a worried tone.
"…I….need some air…" Star said as she stood up and started walking away.
"Star I-" Jackie tried to speak up but was cut off.
"I just need some air ok!" Star snapped as she left the room, leaving an awkward tension in the air.
"…Oh boy great party guys!" Pony Head yelled out before clearing her throat awkwardly. Something told her she should just take her leave now. "But uh I just remembered I gotta be somewhere else that isn't here so um see ya. Snowball! Portal!" Lincoln didn't put up an argument as he took out his sisters and made a portal for Pony Head to go through and leave.
"Yeeeeah looks like you guys got some stuff to work out." Janna decided to follow suit and stood up and began to leave the old-fashioned way. "Jackie, good luck with the drama, Liberty and Hekapoo, I give you two till the end of the night before the start making out."
And once Janna left the room once again fell to a quiet and awkward silence. Jackie, Hekapoo, and Lincoln simply sat there not knowing what to do or say. But after about five minutes of this Jackie finally decided to speak up. "Um. I'm gonna..." Jackie began as she pointed at the door that Star went through.
"Yeah you should…" Lincoln nodded at Jackie as she quickly went to go check on the princess.
"Well…hope that works out…" Hekapoo said awkwardly.
"Yeah me too..." And so once again silence fell upon Lincoln and Hekapoo. Now the two were all alone…just them…right next to each other. "S-So...about...us?"
"Oh boy…" Hekapoo let out nervously. She knew this was coming…but she didn't know if she was really ready.
"S-Sorry I just-" Lincoln didn't want to risk making Hekapoo uncomfortable and if she didn't want to talk about it now that was fine.
"No no no it's fine really." But Hekapoo decided it was better to do this now and not risk things being super awkward between them later. "It's just...where do you start?"
"Yeah that's a…that's a good question." Lincoln thought about it and decided to start with the obvious thing. "I mean…we both like each other…right?"
"I...think we do...I mean. Why would you like me though?" Before anything Hekapoo had to know the answer to that question. "I know I have a crazy body but I'm not exactly your typical normal earth girl."
"Well yeah but…I don't care about that." Lincoln smiled at Hekapoo as he said that. "I mean I have ten sisters, lots of things in my life ain't normal."
"Hehehe," Hekapoo couldn't help but laugh at that. "That's true. So. Why do you like me?"
"Well smokin body aside," Lincoln got that detail out of the way quickly. "Your a lot of fun, not afraid of anything, your never afraid to call people out on their bull crap, you can be stubborn but willing to listen, you always have my back, and, well, I just love spending time with you." Lincoln's words caused Hekapoo to blush even brighter. Other than the smokin body part…no one's really said that about her before. "So…why do you like me? I'm just an average earth boy."
"I wouldn't call having white hair average here." Hekapoo had to get that in.
"Oh ha ha," Lincoln rolled his eyes with a smirk.
"Just sayin~" Hekapoo giggled a bit before letting out a sigh as she began to actually give her answer. "But the reason why I like you. Well let's see. You're fun to tease I'll admit. And you're honestly really cute. Although, I think it's your kind heart that won me over. I mean. I've lived for a REALLY long time, and you made me question everything about myself. But you also showed me a new side to myself that I didn't know existed. You...make me want to be a better person."
"Really?" Lincoln asked as he blinked a few times in surprise.
"Yeah..Yeah…" Hekapoo took a deep breath as she decided to reveal something to Lincoln. "Look when I was gone I…was trying to make things up to people I've wronged. At least…the ones I could. And just…wanted to be a better person the next time you saw me…"
"You don't...have to be a better person for me." Lincoln told her as he began to take her hand into his own.
"I wasn't just doing it for you." Hekapoo explained further as she unconsciously gripped his hand softly. "I was doing it for myself. So I can…move on and be better than what I was."
"…I think you did a good job at that." Lincoln told her with nothing but complete honesty. And no, the bottle wasn't pointed at them.
"...And it's thanks to you." As Hekapoo said this her flame once again formed into a heart that seemed to burn brighter than ever.
"So…what should we do now?" Lincoln knew what he wanted to do but…he wanted to make sure Hekapoo was ok with this.
"Well...I don't know." Hekapoo averting her eyes, knowing full well what she wanted to do as well. "What are you comfortable with?"
"...Maybe we could...give it a try?" Lincoln suggested as a small and sweet smile came to his face. "Being in a...relationship...if you want?"
"…I'd like that." Hekapoo nodded without hesitation. "I'd like that a lot."
"Can…" Lincoln was hesitant to ask. "Can I kiss you?"
"…" Hekapoo was completely silent…and grabbed Lincoln's cheek softly and pulled him into a loving embrace, both of their lips connecting with each other. There was no hesitation between either of them as they leaned into each other's lips, feeling each other's warmth and love.
And eventually when they separated they breathed softly as they looked into each other's eyes. "…Wow…" Both said in complete unison.
"…That was…so nice…" Lincoln whispered to her. "I hope I wasn't too bad."
"No…it was really nice…heh," Hekapoo reassured him before giving him a small smirk. "You're a pretty good kisser."
"Oh, w-well thank you." Lincoln smiled and blushed in relief.
"Must have been nice for Zach that one time~" But despite the situation Hekapoo couldn't help but continue teasing him.
"Oh shut up Pookie." He told her playfully.
"…What was that?" Hekapoo rose her brow at Lincoln at what he just called her.
"…Oh gosh I'm so sorry." Lincoln quickly apologized, fearing he might have upset Hekapoo. "That just slipped out of my mouth."
"Pookie?" Hekapoo repeated. "Where did you come up with that?"
"It's...a nickname I thought of for you." Lincoln revealed with an awkward blush. "H-poo is fine and all but...Pookie just sounded cuter. Sorry, that's really cringy."
"Its fine…I guess." Hekapoo let out a small, amused sigh and reassured him that he wasn't in any sort of trouble. "It's ok if you want to call me that. I call you nicknames all the time."
"Well…okay then." Lincoln smiled as he looked into Hekapoo's eyes again. "Pookie."
"…Heh, yeah that's gonna take some getting used to." Hekapoo let out as she shook her head.
"Hehe sorry," Lincoln chuckled out an apology.
"But…I like where we're going." Hekapoo's tone became softer as she leaned closer to Lincoln.
"Yeah. Me too." Lincoln hugged Hekapoo closer to him. "I guess…we should start dating?"
"I guess we should huh~?" Hekapoo began speaking in a more flirty tone, already beginning to picture how their date would go.
Lincoln was silent for a moment before letting out a small sigh. "...I'd hate to prove Janna right." Lincoln said as Hekapoo looked up at him, knowing where this could be going. "But can we kiss a bit more?"
"I'd love that~" Hekapoo then brought Lincoln into another lip embrace eagerly as she began to softly make out with her new boyfriend, with Lincoln holding onto his new girlfriend tightly.
The night was a rather chilly one, frost forming on just about anything. But Star didn't really care that much as she sat on the sidewalk all by herself. That was it…they knew now and there was no taking it back. Of course she was sure they wouldn't think less of her for it but…she was still unsure how to handle it for herself. Not to mention…
"Hey." The voice of Jackie spoke up right next to her. But Star didn't turn to it. "Mind if I sit here?"
"…." Star was silent, but Jackie sat down anyway.
"...I don't mind that you have a crush on me you know?" Jackie reassured her after a minute of silence. "It's pretty flattering actually."
"…" Star was still silent.
"Star please." Jackie quietly pleaded to Mewman to say something, anything. "Talk to me."
"...I didn't want to ruin it..." After what felt like forever, Star finally spoke up.
"Ruin what?" Jackie inquired, making sure to stay calm and quiet while talking to Star. She was obviously in a delicate state of mind right now.
"...Our friendship..." Star whimpered out as she refused to look up.
"Huh?" Jackie scooted closer to Star. "What do you mean?"
"...I just...it's weird ok!" Star shouted as she tried to find the words. She knew them but…she was afraid of what Jackie might think of them.
"What's weird?" Jackie further probed to get Star to open up.
"I...I shouldn't have feelings for you ok!" Star tried her best to look away from Jackie as she yelled these things out, regretting every word. "I...I just can't..."
"….What do you mean by that?" Jackie tried to stay strong and put up a brave face. She knew there was more to this than just the words spoken.
"...It's...It's not normal...to have feelings for a girl..." Star finally revealed what she really meant to Jackie as she hugged herself. "….When I'm a girl too…"
"...Star come on. You know that's not true." Jackie tried to reassure Star, finally seeing what the Mewman was going through. "What about Luna and Sam? Or Clyde's dad? Or Leni and Carlota? There's nothing wrong with that."
"….On Mewni it is…" Star revealed as she briefly glanced at Jackie.
"Really?" Jackie inquired.
"...Yeah...same sex couples..." Star explained how things were on Mewni to Jackie. "They aren't really accepted there that much..."
"So, when you came to earth you thought it was a bit weird to see same sex couples?" Jackie asked with a raised brow. Star didn't seem uncomfortable when around same sex couples before, at least as far as she knew. "Like when you saw my cousin with Luna when we first met?"
"I mean...I guess?" Star wasn't honestly sure about the answer herself. "I usually just let other people do what they want and not get in their biz but...I guess it just seemed a bit strange to me..."
"…Do you dislike the idea?" Jackie wanted Star to think about this and wanted to help the princess figure this out about herself.
"…." Star fell silent once more.
"You can be honest with me Star." Jackie reassured the princess with a sweet and calm smile. "I promise I won't think less of you no matter what."
"…..I don't…." Star shook her head. "I think it's nice...but I don't know if I should be feeling these emotions. So, I tried to ignore them, and just hoped not to ruin our friendship because...I really like spending time with you..."
Jackie then took Star's hand into her own in a soft embrace. "Hey," Jackie leaned closer to Star to tell her a little secret. "Remember when I said I wasn't sure on my feelings for someone?"
"…Yeah?" Star wondered where Jackie could be going with this. Kinda felt like rubbing salt into the wound honestly.
Jackie then looked Star right in the eyes and told her. "I was talking about you."
Suddenly Star lightly flinched as she quickly started blushing. "M-Me?"
"Heheh, yep." Jackie nodded her head with zero hesitation. "You. Star Butterfly."
"R…Really?" Star couldn't stop the smile from coming to her face.
Jackie then held Star's other hand. "Star you're an amazing gal." Jackie unloaded all her feelings onto the princess. "And it's awesome how we can just hang out and do whatever together. And through all that time. I realized I started developing feelings of my own, for you. But honestly, I never even considered that I might like girls also. So it's a new experience for me, and I'm not sure yet what my feelings are exactly."
"So…that's why you said you didn't know?" Star asked as she could hear her heart begin to beat faster.
"Yeah…it was." Jackie nodded her head as she squeezed Star's hands. "But if you want to…maybe you can help me figure them out?"
"Um…" Star wasn't opposed to the idea, though it did make her a bit nervous. "How do we do that?"
"Why don't we, try going on a date?" Jackie suggested with a small blush.
"W-What?" Star blushed even more, taken aback a bit by the suggestion.
"We go on one date together," Jackie explained with a simple smile. "And we can see how both of us feel about this whole thing."
"….I…." Star thought about it and, while it did sound nice, she was still a bit scared.
"If you don't want to it's okay." Jackie assured Star if she didn't want to go on a date, she didn't have to. Jackie didn't want to force anything. "It's just a suggestion."
"I…I want to…I really do…" Star quickly told Jacki before voicing her fears. "But…what if things don't work out."
"Then we'll still be friends." Jackie put a hand gently onto Star's cheek and directed the Butterfly's eyes to her own. "It didn't work out with me and Lincoln and we're still friends."
"That's true…" Star knew all about that, Jackie herself told her about their failed relationship but Star never once sensed any bad blood between the two. "I really don't want to lose you as a friend."
"And I promise you, that won't happen." Jackie said firmly, no matter what happened they'd always be friends.
"…Okay…" After a moment Star finally nodded her head and agreed to the idea. "We can try."
"Thank you, can I give you a hug?" Jackie asked with a small smile and her cheeks a nice shade of pink.
"I…I'd really like a hug right now." Star smiled and Jackie wasted no time in wrapping her arms around the princess in a soft embrace. Star let out a sigh of relief as she suddenly felt all her worries leave her while she was in the skater girls' arms. "Mmmmmm…this feels nicer than normal…"
"Same for me…" Jackie said as she buried her head in Star's shoulder.
"So…guess we should start planning our d-date then huh?" Star stuttered a bit as she wondered what it might be like. A date with Jackie…
"We can do that tomorrow." Jackie smiled at Star as the two separated. "Let's head back inside. By the way, how much do you wanna bet those two love birds are busy making out~?"
"Heheh, oh we both know those two are gonna be all over each other by now." Star giggled as the two helped each other stand back up.
"Hehehe, get your camera ready," Jackie took out her phone and immediately opened up her camera. "We gotta take a few pics to send to his sisters."
"Oh absolutely!" Star grinned widely as she took out her compact phone.
Neither knew how well things were gonna work out, but they knew they'd face whatever lied ahead together. No matter what.
