Chapter 1: What Just Happened?
Lucy's POV
BEEP BEEP BEEP
Noooooo... Not yet... I don't want to wake up yet... We got back from a month long mission around midnight and I didn't get to bed until two this morning. I am happy not to have my pink haired best friend and his blue cat in my bed with me but I just want to sleep a little bit longer... You know what that's a good idea... No that's a great idea I'll just sleep in today its not like I really need to be in the guild right away anyways... So with that thought in mind I went right back to sleep;
... When I woke up again I rolled over and ran my hand over Horologium's key and found out it was already past noon. So I fully rolled out of bed and went straight to the bathroom and over to my shower and turned on the warm water then got undressed and I finally got under that amazing warm water... I was going to take my time under this amazing warm water when I heard my stomach growl at me so I washed my hair with my favorite strawberry honey shampoo and conditioner and then I moved onto my honey body wash. After I finished washing myself I turned the water off and got out and wrapped my fluffy pink towel around myself then made my way over to my sink to dry and brush my hair when my hair was finally dried off I just put my hair in a messy bun just to get it out of my face, and I was also too lazy to put it in my normal everyday style. Then I made my way out of my bathroom to my bedroom and over to the closet to see what to wear for the day... When I was looking through my clothing I didn't know what I wanted to where...
On one hand I want to wear what I normally wear but on the other hand I want to wear something warm and lazy cause it kinda cold outside and it's already late in the afternoon...
So I just pulled out my black skinny jeans that has a couple of tears in the legs and my long sleeve grayish purple crop top that ends just a little above my belly button. When I was fully dressed I walked over to end table to to put my belt with my keys and wipe on and then I walked out of my bedroom and over to my front door to put on my faded black combat boots on and then I was out the door and made my way to the street. When I made it in front of my apartment building and on the street I grabbed one of my keys from my belt
" Open gate of the little dog, Canis Minor " I summoned with a small smile on my face... I mean who wouldn't be happy to see his cute little face
DING DONG
" Pun pun "
" Hello Plue... Did you want to walk with me to the guild? " I ask Plue while he does his cute little dance
" Puunnnn pun pun "
" Alright cutie lets go " I say then we made our way to the guild;
As normal we walked on the edge of the canal and like everyday the men on the boat told us to be careful... They're always so sweet to always make sure that I be careful on the edge because we all know I'm a bit clumsy and one of these days I might actually fall in... It hasn't happened yet and I'm very proud of myself for it too...
When we got to the guild I picked Plue up because I really didn't want him to go back yet and when I opened the guild's front doors I saw a round table coming right at me and I knew I wouldn't be able to get out the way in time so I closed my eyes and turned to the side also hugging Plue a little closer and tighter so that I can take whole hit to protect him... But after a couple of seconds and I didn't feel anything hit me I slowly opened my eyes and looked to the side to see a shocking sight in front of me... A sight I never thought I would see... Those totems I fought during the Fantasia incident in front of me glowing bright green and then after a couple of seconds they stopped glowing and went back to normal. After a couple of minutes of just staring at them I didn't even notice everyone in the guild going silent and started to stare at me with the totems still in front of me with shocked faces just like me... When I finally snapped out of that shocked state I was in I started noticing my face heating up I knew I was blushing like crazy right now...
" Ummmm t-thank you " I say loud enough so only they can hear me but since it was so silent everyone in the guild heard me anyways...
" Your Welcome " " Your Welcome " All the totems said with a very happy tone while floating around me and Plue and I couldn't help but giggle a little at them and then after a couple of minutes, of them floating around us they just floated back to the second floor where I guess the Thunder Legion are sitting. When I started to walk over to the bar I looked up to the second floor to see everyone in the Thunder Legion standing next to the railing still looking down at me in compete shock and wonder... I think?... I don't really know... That's when I noticed how quiet is was in here so I looked back down and I saw everyone with the same shocked faces and some still had there mouths open. I mean I can understand why everyone is so shocked... With everything that happened during Fantasia and the battle between Bickslow his Babies and me... It even shocked me that they would want to protect me of all people, but at the same time I really don't like how everyone is staring at me... I never really liked it when the attention was all on me so I quickly walked over to the bar and sat down on my normal stool and then I put Plue on the bar in front of me.
" Good morning Mira " I say when Mira walks over to me
" Ummm... What just happened...? Over there? " Mira asked still looking really shocked and very confused
" I don't know Mira... " I say while shrugging my shoulders and after a couple of minutes of silence I could tell Mira was going to ask more about what just happened and I still don't even know what just happened either so I quickly added before she could ask anything else " Mira I really don't know why they did that... Can we move past this? I really don't want to talk about what happened... Please Mira? "
" Of course Lucy... What would you like? " Mira asks with a small smile
" Can I get some pancakes with some bacon and a Strawberry milkshake " I ask with a small smile... When she nod her head I was happy that she dropped the subject completely...
" Pun Puuun Puun " Plue says while standing up while waving his little arms around trying to get our attention
" Also a lollipop for Plue here please " I say after his little tantrum
" Of course I'll be right back with that " Mira says and then she quickly grabs a really big lollipop from behind the counter and hands it over to Plue. When he grabs the lollipop that is way to big for him Plue sits back down and starts to eat it very slowly... Then I see Mira walk back into the kitchen and I was beyond happy when everyone in the guild started to go back to normal... Some went back to talking with the people at there table and then a fight broke out in the middle of the guild again... After a couple of minutes Mira comes back out with a plate full of pancakes and four slices of bacon with the most amazing strawberry milkshake...
That wasn't the only time Bickslow's totems ended up protecting me when I accidentally got put in the middle of one of the guilds daily brawl's. Or when ever I walk in through the guild's front doors and something would come flying over to me and I couldn't get out of the way in time, they would always come in front of me and make sure the table or whatever was flying my way didn't touch me... This has been happening the past six months when ever we're in the guild at the same time and I still don't understand why they keep wanting to protect me... So last night I made the deciton to ask Bickslow tomorrow... That's if he's in the guild though...
