First, I wish to apologize that I haven't been posting enough, as I should have. Even though I mentioned the dates. I do not blame anyone or anything, I could have done this last week when my first set of exams where over, but I chose to procrastinate.

For that, I apologize, that will not occur again, I will publish every two weeks now, as I have another two sets of exams till December. I apologize for such inconvenience.

With that, I can't get the image out of my head. My Jaune Arc has appearance similar to Charlie Hunman (from his role of Arthur, in King Arthur: Legend of the sword) damn, that's a fitting guy, a perfect fucking fit.

Since this is fanfiction and AU, the time period is changed,

Vytal Festival is held every 2 years

This year it was held off due to elections

The year would be written as - RX21 (2021)

The first year started at RX20 (2020) October

The Vytal Festival is to be held on June RX21

The Battlefield of Warriors would take place on July RX21

A month exactly after preliminaries of Battle Field of Warriors (or 100-year tournament)

Jaune left for the tournament near the end of May, and the preliminaries start at 7th June Monday RX21 and the tournament starts at 5th July Monday RX21

I hope this sorts out the timeline, for anyone having trouble.

[Part-1]

May 30th, Sunday- RX21- 21:00

The dinner ended with…of course a dessert. Red Velvet Cake. It truly lived up to the name.

Jaune Arc was a genius in cooking and this would soon cause troubles.

However, shelving that thought for later Jaune Arc was weirded out by a certain…act? Lancelot's daughter- Miss Mash had been staring at him, eyeing Jaune from head to crotch to toe…back to his crotch? Is this sexual harassment?

"Um…Miss Mash? Is something the matter?"

Mash did not reply instead opt to now stare at Jaune's face. He wasn't ugly- however, he still had baby fat on his face, his body structure wasn't bad- it could be improved though.

"Tell me Jaune, did you ever have any previous job experience?"

"Job experience? I…don't think so? Why?"

"I was wondering if you would like to work in CAI."

Ptffffffffffffffffffffffff!

Artoria, Merlin, and Pitou simultaneously spat their drinking water right at Lancelot's face, who had a deadpan expression.

"Thank you, ladies, nice to see everyone in here has manners." Sarcasm dripped through Lancelot's voice. Brynhild and Cinder looked away blushing. Sigurd and Mereoleona refused to look at anyone at the mention of the name of the…company?

Jaune was confused.

Mash passed Jaune a card, where certain details were written about CAI and…

"That's…that's a lot of zeros…is this a scam? Are you trying to scam me? I may not be a resident of Camelot but this does not mean you can just fool me."

"You have got a cute expression, no, it is not a scam…I see that you are talented and believe me when I say this, I can figure out who is big or not and you are very…very suitable for this job and I constantly look for new talents, what do you say Jaune Arc?"

Jaune Arc was still very…very confused, what is she asking? Why isn't no one telling him what exactly is this job?

"What exactly is CAI?"

Everyone blinked…Mash looked surprised; Lancelot was not- he knew that Jaune isn't that connected with social activities using the scroll.

Artoria and Merlin got very close to Jaune's ears and whispered,

"It's called Camelot Adult Industries…."

Blink once. Blink twice. Blink thrice to confirm. The red face starting from cheeks and covering Jaune's whole face.

Few more points in Artoria Pendragon's book for Jaune Arc, cute when blushes.

"What nonsense is this…are you trying to recruit me…to do…this lewd stuff! This is so disgusting! You should be ashamed of yourself and I thought Merlin was the weird one…claiming to be Summer Maiden!"

Aaaaaaaaaand the room went quiet.

"What?! I am the Summer Maiden!"

Jaune looked at her as if Merlin grew five heads and all of them were ugly. He had it. This woman definitely has a problem and she just refuses to acknowledge its existence and acts like a delusional child.

"What's next? There is a secret organization working to fight off Grimm?"

PFttttttttttttttttt!

Lancelot threw up his water.

"Then you would say there is a Grimm Queen? And there is a shadow war going on?"

Pfttttttttttttttttttttttt!

Cinder Fall was the next to threw her water.

"Perhaps Sigurd knows the Winter Maiden? Who's the Winter Maiden? Must be some android."

Pftttttttttttttttttttt!

Sigurd continued the trend of spitting the water, this was getting old now. However, Jaune Arc did not stop there-

"Maybe Cinder here is the Fall Maiden and she works for this Grimm Queen, right Merlin?"

Pfffffffffffffffffffffft!

Cinder Fall officially lost it. There was no way to recover from this.

Jaune planted his fist on the other hand, "Oh~ maybe you would say Ozpin and Grimm Queen have a history?"

The place was now quiet.

"Please Merlin, stop being delusional, whatever you stated is just in your mind, you should grow up, and please look after your mental health."

After saying so, Jaune gave Merlin- the saddest look possible as if she was indeed a person in desperate need to love and help. Without speaking anything further he picked up the plates and left.

However, a serious thought passed through everyone's mind.

'How can Jaune Arc be smart and sooooooooooo dumb at the same time?'

6th June, Sunday- RX21, 04:00

Jaune was so excited for today! The last day of training for the preliminaries of course…today, he would go even far and beyond! For the last few days, Lancelot denied him any more training and said just to master the new form of the way Jaune fights.

As much as Jaune wanted to protest, he understood why Lancelot meant by that- right now jumping into new stuff would be hasty- first Jaune needs to solidify the way he is about to take is a form of fighting- even if it is dance, it is not that simple.

Dancers are not just performing artists; their bodies are also the instruments through which the art is created. The quality of this art, therefore, necessarily depends on the physical qualities and skills that dancers possess. The stronger and more flexible a dancer's body, the more capable it is of a wide range of movement. Nearly all professional dancers start training at a young age to shape and develop their bodies correctly. Strength is built up in the right muscles, for example, and the bone-connecting ligaments on which flexibility of the joints is so dependent are lengthened early before they begin to harden.

As well as strength and mobility, a good dancer must also possess great coordination (the ability to work different parts of the body together), a highly developed kinesthetic awareness (to know and control the position and state of the body), control overweight and balance in motion, developed awareness of space, a strong sense of rhythm, and an appreciation of music. Particularly in dramatic dance, the dancer must be able to project movement clearly and make its expressive qualities intelligible to the audience. Grace, fluidity, and harmony of the body are also frequently desired in the dancer, as is physical beauty, but these are subjective qualities that differ from one culture to another and change according to fashion.

Here is the difficult part, there is no music playing, rather the sole thing would be the music in the mind. Jaune must dance within the battlefield to win- and use the dance to make it his ability to fight.

He would have tripled or even quadrupled his training, but-

"No, you won't train today- no physical or aura use."

"But…why?" Jaune was confused as to why Lancelot was restricting him to train, preliminaries are tomorrow! He should train harder than ever!

"It is good that you are taking everything seriously, but you must draw a line while you train. Today, take the day off, rest, enjoy yourself- keep your mind worry-free…so that you could give your hundred percent, do you understand?"

"I…see, I get it…"

Jaune did understand, and perhaps Lancelot was correct. During the morning Jaune would perfect his way of fighting and during the evening, he would spar with Artoria, well he always lost…but that did not mean he learned nothing.

However, during his time with Artoria, he enjoyed those. He felt peaceful…with her.

So, what now? Jaune didn't sleep last night…and today it's four in the morning since he won't train…then…how about visiting, Garden of Avalon?

The place with tower and the beautiful flowers, Jaune felt peace there…perhaps he should go there.

Over the horizon, Jaune could see, the sunrise slowly as it greeted the land. The most beautiful scenery his eyes gazed upon.

"Good morning…Jaune!"

Huh?

Voice? Artoria's voice? Jaune looked around, the source?

Well…why is he such an idiot? He found her, near the tower…sitting beside Albion, ah! The beautiful dragon almost feels like he and Jaune have a connection…similar to Ruby and Zewi.

He made his way over there, Artoria patted beside her inviting Jaune to sit with her. Laying on Albion's skin.

Jaune looked at Albion, the dragon didn't seem to mind, it was almost as if it was giving Jaune incentive to sit.

"So, came here to train in…early morning?"

"No…just take my mind off things, I guess? I… well, it was Lancelot's idea that I, take the day off, you know?"

Artoria smiled bringing her legs together, in a fetal position, smiling at Jaune she spoke,

"It is important to take breaks you know? Give the body and soul rest, just like I am…sometimes letting go, feels better, feels calmer…throwing away unnecessary baggage."

Jaune scoffed, "Well, it's easy for you. Princess, you are strong and I am- ouch!"

Artoria pinched Jaune's thigh, glaring at him. She changed her position and placed her head on his lap, the action that once again brought back his blush.

Dammit!

"How many times did I tell you during our spar, Jaune? You don't need to always self-depreciate, it is unhealthy…there is a tournament tomorrow and you should live up to it, enjoy it! Jaune, do you know what your problem is?"

Jaune blinked.

"You think wayyyyy too much, you always think about consequences, you always doubt yourself that you won't live up to anything that you are nothing more than a branded failure. I don't know where these thoughts emerge from, but I can assure you- you are none of this, and before- before you interrupt me…let me tell you something. Strength doesn't always equate to power- actually scratch that. Strength never equates to power, everyone is powerful in their own way, what makes us different from others do you know?"

Jaune was quiet.

Artoria smiled as she slowly tapped Jaune's heart, "Perseverance and determination, having the ability to grit through anything and see the results till end…regardless of what occurs. Don't cut yourself short…you are better than that."

Artoria's words resonated within Jaune.

He…took a big step all by himself, he has to grit through it…regardless of the consequences.

"Artoria…?" Jaune called out to her, but it would seem the princess chose his lap as a pillow to sleep.

Jaune smiled as he placed his head on Albion's metallic skin- for something that had the sensation of metal, Jaune felt strangely comfortable.

Yes, for some reason…Camelot felt more of a home to him than anywhere else.

Perhaps he should rest, that's what Lancelot wants him to do anyway.

Yes, he would take the day off, whatever happens…he'll just fact it.

Jaune didn't see, as Albion, gently placed its wings, to cover them both.

[Part-2]

{Mistral, Olympus Household}

May 30th, Sunday-RX21, 22:00

Normally this time should be a family dinner- where a member of the Olympus family (except for a few including Pyrrha) have dinner together.

Tonight, was not that night.

Hera Olympus and her children were sitting at the table. Pyrrha didn't want to be anywhere near here, but she gritted through and prepared herself for what's about to come. This perhaps is the longest night of her life.

The dining room was grandiose and Pyrrha's mother was sitting on her throne- true to the power of showing who is the superior one in the family.

Looking around Pyrrha chuckled internally- Jaune said he had seven sisters- at the least all of them were related to him and loved him.

Pyrrha hoped that would be the case for her family but that was not.

Her mother, Hera Olympus- had five husbands, including her father, this is one of the biggest reasons why Pyrrha Nikos hated polygamy- this shit love life called harem, no one can adjust to it- Pyrrha can't share her fries, sharing another human? That's impossible.

If only Hera Olympus treated her husbands like humans or even loved them- she did not- to them, they all were just high-class people who connected with her family and gave her children.

Speaking of children- there are ten of them- including Pyrrha.

This might seem a bit confusing- however, the eldest was two Lucius Tiberius Olympus and Aphrodite Olympus. Both of them were two years older than her, then Odysseus Olympus, Mars Olympus, and Caenis Olympus a year older than her- finally, Circe Olympus, Minerva Olympus, and Pyrrha…Nikos all of them of the same age, finally Apollo and Artemis Olympus, the twins. With each husband, she had two children exactly.

Sorry Jaune, Pyrrha has a bit bigger family- quite a big family.

The only child that wasn't given the title of Olympus, her family name because she wasn't worth it.

Because she thought for herself. That was her fault. To begin with, she should have never been born.

Pyrrha looked up, her eyes towards her mother- one of the most beautiful women to ever tread all over Remnant that is true.

Pyrrha's mother, Hera Olympus has long aubergine hair that is seen to be tied in a braid with gold and silver ribbon weaved in. Hera possesses cyan-blue eyes and is taller than the average woman, actually, she is just as tall as Professor Glynda Goodwitch. Hera is incredibly beautiful and seems to appear as a perfect woman like the gods themselves fashioned her. She wears a floor-length pastel purple dress with a deep v neckline laced with golden trims that expose much of her bust. Her dress has a high slit on the left, revealing her entire leg. Hera also wears jewelry from her royal tiara, armbands, to necklaces, the most prominent is a golden choker decorated with aqua gems and clear ornaments. She is also shown to be wearing the Golden Fleece.

Well, if something is common in her family- it's everyone looks like they were made by gods themselves.

However, there was something else Pyrrha could not stomach, she did not realize that another person was here as well.

Her father standing right next to her mother, just like a butler. Pyrrha hated it. All the happy moments with her father and all of them just…just disappeared. Her father even gave up his real name and took in the code name Hera picked up for him.

Pyrrha's father now calls himself, the name that was provided to him by her Mother, his Wife- Hades.

Pyrrha's father still looked like a young and handsome man with a specially-designed eyepatch on his right eye and long stylish hair that spikes up at various spots on his head. He is shown to have a leaf-like pattern tattooed across his forehead and a bead-like earring on his left ear with spikes as piercings. His attire is shown to be quite formal and extravagant, with a collar that spans all the way to his upper chest, and badges decorated on the left and right side of his coat. He wears long white jeans and a pair of shoes filled with square patterns.

Finally, a choker necklace shaped small spikes- all of Hera's husbands are to wear these. A symbol of submission.

With the voice filled with authority, Hera Olympus spoke up-

"So, on the 7th of June the preliminaries for the tournament start, I want all of you to show the best impression possible and whatever happens- impress the king of Camelot by all means necessary. His support would be valuable to me when the elections finally knock on the door. Am I clear?"

Silence filled the room. No one would be able to talk back to Hera.

She continued, "Lucius, Odysseus, Caenis, Minerva…and Pyrrha, the five of you would be taking part in the tournament, I expect all of you to live up to the name…"

There was an untold venom in Hera's voice and Pyrrha could easily guess who that was directed at.

However, before Hera could continue, Mars raised his hand.

"Mars? Go ahead."

Mars stood up.

"By all means mother, I have never and will never question your decision you make. However, I must insist as to deny, our dear sister…Pyrrha to take part in the tournament. You are already sending Lucius and Odysseus, victory is already placed in your palms…sending Caenis and Minerva, is fine for show but Pyrrha? I have to apologize but she would show your weakness there."

Under the table, Pyrrha was clutching her hands, if any more blood might spew just right out, however,

"So, do you want to go Mars? What would you show? Disappointment?"

Pyrrha looked to her side, a small smile forming on her face- one of the few reasons she did not go insane while having a life in this household.

Minerva Olympus, blackish-brown hair till her lats, and cyan-blue eyes just like her mother- for some reason, since childhood- Minerva and Odysseus were always kind to Pyrrha regardless of whatever Pyrrha went through and what she suffered- she made it because of Uncle Barnabas, Minerva, and Odysseus.

Made living in this hell bearable.

Mars, on the other hand, looked livid, ready to explode.

"You dare interrupt mother?"

"Mother? Please, I interrupted you, Mars- Pyrrha has achievements and skills backing up, what about you? Oh, wait- I just stated, disappointment it is."

"Dear sister, I would say not to antagonize our brother."

Opposite to Pyrrha, the voice spoke, her younger brother and one of the twins, Apollo spoke. His all-over appearance was more like that of a girl than a boy. Long blonde hair and tanned skin. His eyes gazed over Pyrrha as he continued,

"You must remember this dear sister Minerva, we the members of the Olympus must show strength- must show that we are invincible, parlor tricks won't work against the people dear sister Pyrrha would face in Camelot…brother Mars is correct, we should just send brother Lucius and Odysseus, the rest are clearly not needed."

DON!

The table shook and glare was shot towards both Mars and Apollo.

Caenis Olympus, she had short white hair that reached till just below her ears and another set of hair-style done into a ponytail? And dark skin unlike her younger twins Apollo or Artemis, of course, cyan-eyes to compliment her looks.

"Are you telling me that I am unnecessary? That I should not take part in this? Then tell me why the hell, you aren't taking part in? or Mars? Or Artemis? Or Aphrodite? I'll tell you; it is because you all are weak! Indecisive! You all just boast, however, none of you have, what it takes to be a champion!"

Pyrrha looked at her hot-headed sister, it's not that Caenis hated her- Caenis hated everyone since her birth, she has a childhood incident buried which no one in the family knows of- well, only the higher ones know of it and it was said to- never to be mentioned again.

"Pretty difficult advice of indecision coming from someone who can't decide what gender to choose?"

Caenis's wrathful speech was interrupted by a playful one.

Perhaps the shortest in height, the girl had the same height as Ruby, a playful smirk on her porcelain skin, she appeared as if she had elven ears and pinkish-orange hair till her back. What was unique about the girl was her eyes, they were rainbow-colored a unique shade.

Circe Olympus.

The offhand comment made by her had turned Caenis even more vengeful, she was about to bite her head off when the booming voice of their mother interrupted them.

"Enough of this nonsense."

The silence returned.

Hera turned towards Lucius and Odysseus who was quiet the whole time.

"Lucius, Odysseus what do you both suggest?"

Lucius opened his eyes- majestic just like her mother.

"I believe let anyone who wants to take part- take part. It is a tournament after all, however, whatever happens- taking into consideration that they are adults they should take responsibility, should they fail."

"I agree with Lucius." Odysseus chimed in.

"Hm. As expected from the eldest and my prized son, you truly know what words to whisper to your mother…however, there is something more you need to do Lucius."

"Mother?"

"You do realize that I take priority in my status as such, I need even stronger connection in politics. I have come up with a brilliant strategy. I need you to ask, the Princess of Camelot, her hand in marriage."

Everyone present in the room was surprised. Pyrrha looked at Lucius, he looked stoic but, something told Pyrrha that he did not expect this either.

"Listen to me, my dear son…doing so would increase our standing and you would have a chance to take control over Camelot itself. Mistral would grow and prosper even more. I expect, that you would agree, right?"

There was a heavy silence before, Lucius replied,

"Yes mother…whatever, you desire…"

Hera gently rubbed Lucius's hand.

"As expected from my favorite."

Pyrrha just wanted to sleep today, no more nonsense, she just dealt with so much. Avoiding everyone, Pyrrha sat outside, gazing up at the beautiful sky.

If only life could be this simple. If only…

Pyrrha blinked, she heard something?

Looking around she saw two figures…? Confused by the situation, Pyrrha chose to hide and see what's going.

Gasp!

Pyrrha internally gasped- it was Lucius…he was standing at the other end of the garden, beside her was a black-haired maid who stood silent.

Pyrrha knew the maid, she was Julia same age as her brother, she had been working in the Olympus family ever since Pyrrha was a little girl.

However, this was strange- Julia never once talked to Lucius as far as she Pyrrha knew.

Pyrrha saw Julia raising her hand and…a desire to touch Lucius? But she gave up and walked away…?

What…? What exactly was going on here? What relationship do Lucius and Julia have?

This hit Pyrrha hard- what exactly is going on with her family? How much does she know about her own family?

[Part-3]

7th June, Monday- RX21, 6:00

{Camelot, Lancelot's Household}

This is it huh.

Today is the day marking the change in Jaune Arc's journey.

Lancelot and Pitou weren't here. Apparently, Pitou work for the medics as such she needs to be in the colosseum and Lancelot said that he would meet Jaune there.

Ba-dump! Ba-dump!

The heartbeat- Jaune was afraid…but strangely excited.

Bang!

Jaune was startled, the door was suddenly opened and he was greeted by someone…he did not expect to meet, this early.

"Fuh~ made it in time, Morning Jaune!"

"Miss Mash? What…what are you doing here?"

"You see, I…wanted to apologize."

"Apologize?"

"Yes. Apologize, for my actions last time- I…was really insensitive and should not have well asked you to…well join in something that you don't want to."

Jaune smiled. Miss Mash is a good person, she just might come off as a bit pushy, but she is indeed nice.

"You see, Camelot Adult Industries, isn't just a place where I shoot porn, well, certainly porn makes me more money- CAI has different branches- saloon, products, music production, filmography, photoshoot, fashion-design…as such, I am here…to give you a makeover!"

Makeover…?

Jaune was confused….

Even before Jaune could say no, he was forced down on the bed!

Wait…this semblance…this is very similar to Professor Goodwitch's semblance…

"What?!"

"Jaune Arc, do not resist! As a token of apology, I will give you a makeover and also…cut down those damn fuckin noodle hair and that damned hoodie!"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

30 mins later…

Jaune looked himself in the mirror…this…this was him, right?

Mash looked smug,

"How did you like your outfit! This gambeson- The combination of the short breathable part with quilted sleeves and the long sleeveless quilted vest guarantees an excellent level of comfort and mobility without any loss of padding and protection. The overlapping of the sleeves with the shoulders of the vest ensures gapless coverage – even if your combat style resembles a windmill. The gambeson is made of sturdy canvas fabric, lined with natural flax linen, and finished with soft leather at the edges, which includes the stand-up collar, arm-holes, front and bottom edge of the vest, and forearm slits and edges of the sleeves at the bottom piece. The canvas has a beautiful weave, is tough, and can take a rigorous beating - it happens to be the same premium canvas we use for our tents and Viking vests. The inner piece is a crop-top body part made of two layers of natural linen with canvas sleeves doubled with flax linen as well and padded with thick cotton batting. The sleeves are wide enough at the upper part not to affect your movements and taper in narrower from the elbow to the wrist for a great fit. By leaving out any buttons or lacing at the bottom of the sleeves, we have allowed room to comfortably wear bracers or an arm harness. The front lacing of the inner piece of the gambeson allows a tight fit so that your padding always stays where it is supposed to be. You can trust it not to ride up or crumple under your shiny armor! The straight-cut vest can be laced tight, with significant overlap under the lacing allowing you to get the perfect fit. The arm-holes are wide enough to fit the sleeves of the inner piece and to provide you all the freedom of movement you might need. We decided not to pierce the gambeson through: the lacing points for your arm harness and pauldrons are created with the help of leather squares. A similar approach is used to fasten the vest – there are no eyelets and the laces go through the reliable leather squares without breaching the gambeson itself. This incredibly thought-through item will make you forget about all the other options. The only possible exception is the most luxurious version of this gambeson made of natural velvet."

Mash looked prideful as she explained the wonderful cream-colored gambeson…Jaune was wearing.

"In other words, just gambeson, without armor?"

If looks could kill, Jaune Arc died a thousand deaths instantly. The cold glare that Mash gave him.

"It is really nice; I am sorry for being ungrateful."

"Hm!" Like a child, she pouted in a different direction. He touched his face…his face looked better now? Well, he was growing facial hair- and usually, Jaune used to clean shave. However, Mash denied him! Instead, she trimmed the facial hair, giving him a mature appearance. Same for his hair, how exactly did she do it? She did not cut it short, instead, it was slicked back wet look medium length undercut style with a short back and sides.

Jaune himself had to admit that it looked good.

His gaze fell upon his scabbard-less sword. The blade of Crocea Mors, once a proud part of a set, now stands alone.

"Here." Mash passed Jaune a white and black with golden accents decorated scabbard- it was a combination of both metal and leather, giving it a proper balance.

"Lancelot told me you would need it…so, there you go…"

Jaune just nodded, he didn't reply…putting the blade in and fitting it into his belt. Jaune Arc was ready.

"You do know when the preliminaries start, right?"

"At 10:30? Correct?"

"Indeed, but be there within 10:00."

"I will be."

Mash stared at Jaune's back.

"Are you ready for this…?"

"I don't know…but…"

Jaune Arc turned towards Mash and smirked.

"I will figure that out, won't I?"

[Part-4]

7th June, Monday- RX21, 7:00

{Camelot, Buckingham Palace}

Jaune Arc had ruined Artoria Pendragon. For last week, training in the forest and sparring with Jaune, Artoria usually ate whatever Jaune made- he made food, that perhaps gods were meant to feast upon.

The last week she was spoiled by Jaune's cooking…so much so, that she didn't know what the consequences could be.

The breakfast in the castle sucks ass! Was it always this bland? Why aren't the flavors dancing in her tongue? Why isn't she feeling the tingling sensation through her body? What happens to the mix? Why even the tea was so bland! And she loved tea!

Dammit! It was all Jaune's fault, he ruined her for others…these things can't satisfy her appetite she needs…. she needs Jaune!

Dammit, she going to work him dry after the preliminaries!

"Is something the matter, dear?" a voice woke Artoria from her trance. Artoria looked up from the table, her father Gabriel Pendragon, asked, a tone filled with concern.

Artoria chuckled, her father always provided her with liberty, and yet, he was such a worry-wart. However, they weren't the only ones at the table, Artoria's mother…or the correct term would be step-mother, Venelana Pendragon, with her step-brother, Aiden Pendragon, 10 years old.

Aiden's birth is a secret, the Pendragon family reveals the newborn to the outside world at the age of 11, a tradition that has been passed down the Pendragon line…the reason? Hidden within the depths of history.

"Are you feeling, okay? You haven't been eating properly these days and it seems that you are lost in thoughts. Is the food not to your liking? You are…a bit glutton after all."

Yes, the food sucks…I hate this! I want a proper meal! I want the sunrise tea that Jaune makes! I want the special Arc Pasta, with secret Pesto sauce! The properly baked garlic bread…Artoria really wanted to fire this chef, actually, fire every damn chef and have Jaune cook for her in a naked apron!

Damn, did I really think like that? Artoria thought the bad food must be getting to her if she is having this form of thought process.

"No, it's fine…it's due to the tournament, that is all."

"Ah, warriors from all over the world are participating, this won't be easy at all, I understand what you are feeling," Gabriel spoke, finishing off his share of breakfast.

"Dear, did you inform her?"

Artoria, blinked…inform…what?

Gabriel Pendragon wore a sour expression, that does not happen often, her father always bears a small smile, facing every problem like that.

Perhaps seeing Gabriel's expression, Venelana decided it would be better if she explains.

"Listen, dear, you are coming of age…it would be better if you chose someone to marry, it is your duty as the princess of Camelot to take a noble-class husband. As such, your father and I have just found the perfect suitor. Lucius Tiberius Olympus, eldest of the Olympus family, of Mistral- his father, is also the great-grandson of Leonidas who defended Mistral against war between Atlas. Not just Leonidas, Lucius himself is the decedent of Achilles, The Invincible Man. A perfect fit for you, Artoria."

Gabriel was quiet. He was expecting his daughter to scream bloody murder, instead-

"Very well, I agree to meet him."

Venelana smiled clapping her hands, she spoke, "Marvelous, Lucius and his father would be arriving here at 8:30."

Venelana called in the maids to take the dishes away, however, Gabriel noticed…a small smile on Artoria's face.

The girl was planning something and she had prepared a counter for it.

7th June, Monday- RX21, 8:30

One thing Gabriel Pendragon had to agree with, the Olympus family was punctual. Sitting on the throne, with his wife beside him and Artoria standing on the other side.

This meeting for marriage begun. Three of them, of the Olympus family had arrived.

The man with an eyepatch on his right eye and choker on his neck, possibly the older one among the three- perhaps the father. He bowed gently as he spoke, in a noble tone-

"Greetings the King and Queen of Camelot, Gabriel Pendragon, Venelana Pendragon, and the young and beautiful, princess Artoria Pendragon. My name, is Hades Olympus, one of the elders of the Olympus family, these are- "

The short red-haired boy with cyan eyes stepped forward, looks of a warrior and by no means someone who would be weak,

"Greetings to the lords, my name is Lucius Tiberius Olympus. First in the line of the Head of the Olympus family."

The next boy stepped forward unlike his brother, he had golden eyes, his hair reached past his shoulders, all of the bangs were black while his hair was white, however, the first few bangs on the forehead were red in color.

"Greetings to the lords, my name is Odysseus Olympus. Third in the line of the Head of the Olympus Family."

Hades spoke, standing straight, he clapped. Few maids entered the throne room holding on to the extravagant gifts.

"Please, a token of appreciation allowing us to visit, you."

Gabriel smirked- the man is good, Hades, is a very good negotiator- Gabriel had no doubts that he had made plans as to how to sway Artoria- this would be tough.

Gabriel made a glance to his side, Artoria still had her small smile- she must have prepared something, but what exactly.

Hades took another step forward, voice filled with pride. However, his lines looked as he had been reciting them for a very long time.

"My son, the eldest- the favored child, Lucius- you must have heard about his exploits, the feats in strength, his way of completing any task. He single-handedly saved multiple villages from Grimm infestation and bandit invasion. He's better than veteran hunters, is well mannered. The Lone Wolf is what they call him, one of the few to even have Hunter's license from a young age…and princess, I believe, that you and him, will get along swimmingly, the similarities are impeccable as if heavens molded the two of you to be together. Wouldn't you agree?"

Hades looked at his son, who just gave a gentle smile. Heh. A smile to easily captivate women, many would easily fall for that, the perfect gentleman.

Artoria stepped forward, "It is impressive Sir Lucius, your feats really are, but is it fine for me to ask you a question?"

Lucius nodded, "Please, go ahead, milady."

"Do you really wish to marry me?"

Gabriel blinked. Did his daughter really ask that? Wait, was Artoria willing to go through with this marriage? Did his daughter would willing to throw her youth away?

However, for some reason Gabriel felt that there was more to the simple question- most suitors would provide with an immediate answer, of course, who wouldn't want to marry the princess Artoria Pendragon, paragon of beauty and strength.

Lucius did not answer immediately, there was a moment of hesitation- which Artoria caught instantly.

"Of course. Why wouldn't I be? I was captivated by your beauty and the feats that you possess- that I simply could not resist, I had to before someone else snags you away. Forgive me milady if I come off as possessive, but perhaps that's my burning passion for you."

Holy shit, the boy's got game and color Gabriel impress. The smile, charm, eye movements- the perfect image of the prince any girl would want.

However, that's not what Artoria saw- what she saw, a boy who was a great pretender.

She had him.

"Is that so, then why didn't you ask me out the very day you fancied me? Perhaps we would have spent time getting to know each other better?"

Lucius blinked, clearly didn't expect the reply to be in an almost interrogative manner.

"Milady, even if I was enamored by your dazzling beauty, I am no creep. I do not wish to barge in your life and ask for a place in your heart, I need time to build a relationship foundation with you- a strong foundation is a start of a firm relationship, wouldn't you agree?"

"But isn't it what relationship is? You don't know when someone would barge in your life and just change it forever?"

"Milady, isn't that risk? The very barging in life could destroy you as well."

"Isn't life a gamble, Sir Lucius? Sad that you weren't ready to put in your chips…looks like you hate risks and failure. Or someone else does."

A quote that wasn't missed by Gabriel or the Olympus family.

Artoria Pendragon was sharp, "Even so Sir Lucius, I appreciate your tenacity and determination to come here- however, I must reveal something- I fancy someone else."

The throne room went quiet. Ignore others, Gabriel didn't believe what he was hearing…his daughter fancies someone else?

Hades was caught off guard. This…this wasn't supposed to happen! All the preparations will be for naught, there must be some way to salvage this! He has to.

"Princess Artoria," Hades continued, "I understand that you might have found what we adults call childish crush, let me ask you a few questions- the one you have these feelings for, is that person worth it? Think about the future…do you see yourselves together? Is this person worthy of you? Does this person have enough achievements? There is even a high chance this person could be tricking you. Do you understand, Princess?"

Heh.

Artoria smirked, "Sir Hades, you were quick to judge, I just said I fancied someone, for all you know, it could simply be platonic, or I just said I fancy a fictional character…or I said that just to gauge your reaction…"

Hades did not show- but Artoria knew, she has trapped all of them.

"Sir Hades, I appreciate that an elderly and more experienced figure is looking after me- however, I don't see myself being a bride and daughter-in-law of a family that jumps to a conclusion, this fast- for all I know, no offense to your family but- if something goes wrong, you all could even blame me as a criminal or worse an adulterer. My apologies, Sir Hades, Sir Lucius, and Sir Odysseus of the Olympus family, but I have to decline this marriage proposal."

Gabriel kept a stoic face, but he smirked internally, daughter of the year baby!

Hades fixed his coat, "By all means, this is your decision princess, but think about the future of uniting two strong families, please reconsider thinking about the future."

Artoria just smiled.

"I live in the present Sir Hades, that's why I always smile. There is absolutely no reason for me to look towards the future if I live every day of my life to its fullest. However, should you persist, I suggest Sir Lucius or Sir Odysseus win the tournament? Should any of them do it, you do realize what the prize is right? Anyone's wish would be fulfilled. This tournament is a collaborative effort of the kingdoms. I am sure whatever you desire, it could be achieved, should you win the tournament."

Artoria turned around, preparing to leave,

"I wish you good fortune on the upcoming challenge, however, it will not be easy."

[Part-5]

7th June, Monday- RX21, 9:45

{Camelot, Colosseum}

Arrived fifteen minutes earlier and this place is filled, Jaune Arc looked around. There were many- many peeps here. Many more so than there were in the Vytal Festival.

Also, he was getting funny looks from the few girls around? His outfit doesn't look bad, does it? Few of the girls were…even waving at him? Well, whatever.

Looking around for familiar faces…let's see…

Wait…is that?

No way.

"Pyrrha!" Jaune's partner, she was sitting there with another…man? Older? Is that her father…they have similarities?

Pyrrha on the other hand was surprised, she blinked…how did Jaune get in here? Did Professor Goodwitch give him a pass? Or someone else? But who cares?!

Pyrrha jumped and gave Jaune a tight hug, which even surprised the man

"Woah! Pyr, you good?"

"Jaune! I…I am so-so happy to see you."

Indeed, she was, finally a familiar figure she does not hate or contempt, well one of the familiar figures.

"So, this is the boy, you keep talking about eh! Well, nice to finally meet him, you team leader right! Hello, I am Pyrrha's uncle, just call me Barnabas!" the old man, Pyrrha's uncle patted Jaune's back.

"Hello, it's…it's nice to meet you too, Pyrrha doesn't…doesn't talk much about her family so," Jaune could see the mood almost dampening at the mention of the word-

"But it is really good to see you, Pyrrha. I really missed you," Jaune gave her to most sincere smile. Which made Pyrrha smile back too.

"Jaune…you look different, your outfit, your hair…too…"

"Wait, does this look bad on me?"

"On the contrary lad, you look damn good…" Barnabas's gaze Jaune a complete stare down.

"Yeah, Jauney-boy, you certainly look…good, what now? Would be shagging girls!"

"Heh. Didn't know Arc was this fashionable, that's some mind-blogging sense of color and coordination he got there- ah, hair too…it's making him look mighty fine, and the trimmed beard of course. A look of maturity, eh? And damnnnnnn those are some fine cakes Arc, Bun-Bun you got some competition, on the bakery department."

"C-Coco!"

Another set of voices…wait a minute…this can't be.

Team CRDL and Team CFVY.

Both Jaune and Pyrrha were surprised by this. Team CRDL and CFVY were here too? Who gave them passes?

The question is- what's going to happen if Professor Glynda Goodwitch found out that much of her students are participating in a tournament without her consent, there will be hell.

{Vale, Beacon Academy}

"I…feel like something is going on…and I need to issue punishment!"

"Are you all right Glynda? You seem stressed."

"I want to punish sir!"

"Okay…?"

Ozpin needed Rum in his coffee, first, his daughter ran, and now, Glynda is all acting weird.

And Jaune Arc hasn't returned yet!

Perhaps he should stop playing with people. The karma is biting his ass.

"So, none of us…have taken permission from Goodwitch? Damn! She's gonna kills us, just fine." Coco spoke after everyone had to talk with each other?

CFVY and CRDL are here with another team- apparently, Team ARBN and Team SSSN are here too. That's just great.

However, Jaune was surprised- team RWBY wasn't here. He was sure looking at Team CRDL and CFVY, he thought Yang would love to be here- hell, even Weiss would have, given how competitive she is.

The friendly atmosphere suddenly died down. Everyone became quiet, Uncle Barnabas who was making everyone laugh with his stupid jokes- became serious too.

Jaune knew the reason.

The Tyrant was walking by.

Everyone could feel the authority of the figure- however, the Tyrant, Gilgamesh gave his looks towards Jaune- as if he was a funny creature.

"So, you didn't run away, mongrel? What do you know…you do have guts, mongrel…don't eliminate yourself in the preliminary fights."

"Didn't know you cared…having a soft heart, huh?"

"This is the second time you spoke to me in such manner, mongrel- you do need to learn manners."

Gilgamesh turned around to depart, not before he heard Jaune say, "Shove manners in that ass, Tyrant."

Jaune's peers were surprised! Did…did Jaune just talk back to perhaps one of the greatest threats and villainous people on Remnant and did not get killed?

Is this the really same Jaune? The dork who made mistakes in Beacon?

"I thought the rumors were a joke, but it seems they had truth in them after all. The boy who stood up to the Tyrant."

"Indeed, he's not quite there yet, however…I feel given the chance he just might evolve."

Jaune turned around.

He wasn't surprised anymore- Camelot is indeed a place to attract hot guys and girls.

The guy wears golden armor that covers parts of his torso area as well as his arms and hips. His chest and stomach area are mostly exposed, revealing his abdominal musculature. His outfit also includes a white cape that runs down to his knees with about a half-dozen end tassels. His legs, neck, and arms are dressed in black cloth. While the neck and arm cloth are form-fitting, the cloth over his legs is baggy. He holds a striped dark blue and gold hook staff longer than the length of his body. The guy has short, straight black hair which he has drawn with the ends of his hair combed downward... He also wears a golden necklace.

The girl, on the other hand, is an extremely beautiful woman. She has long purple hair and red eyes and wears a full-body outfit that highlights her curvaceous body, with metallic shoulder pads. She also wears a black veil over her head and a short cloak over her shoulders, connected by the shoulder pads.

"Do…I know you…both?"

In response to Jaune's question the girl stifle a small laugh, the guy, however- did not hesitate for a moment to laugh it out loud.

"Hahahahahahahahaha…doesn't matter who I am, but, I was really interested in the guy- who talked back to Gilgamesh, people might think what does that has to do with anything and just as expected you are ignorant to the world, I thought perhaps I should introduce myself- the name is Ozymandias Ramesses and she is-"

"Scáthach Skaði."

Jaune stared at the boy first, then the girl, then the boy again, and finally the girl.

"On offense, but I am in no way referring to you guys with those names- it's pretty long and complicated, and mam- sure enough, your name must be a spell."

"Hahahahahahaha….I…have missed this form of interaction, people treat me like royalty, but I'm a guy too you know, just call me Dio."

"I agree, with you- feels a bit refreshing, just refer to me as Scáthach."

"Woman, that is still a difficult name."

Jaune was confused. Why are these people suddenly talking to him and why are his friends so shell-shocked?

"Is there something you need from me?" Jaune asked directly, "It has been quite the days, after all, I have met so many people that it's hard to keep track of."

Ozymandias gave a small smile as he invaded Jaune Arc's personal space, looking at him, in his deep blue eyes.

"I find you interesting. I am not a guy who roams around listening to baseless rumors after all. I was just interested, but now- I am curious."

"Curious about what?"

"You."

"Me? There is nothing special about me."

"Maybe…maybe not, but I don't know why I do have interest, maybe because you are bold or maybe you are just a new guy who is stupid. Or maybe you are something more."

Jaune couldn't fathom- exactly what was going on?

Ozymandias continued, "Tell, me Jaune, why did you come here? To Camelot?"

"I…came here for the tournament, that's all, to prove myself."

"Hm. Maybe, but do you know- I may sound like a door-to-door salesman, but there is something I wish to preach to you, would you be interested in hearing?"

"I…am all ears, I don't have a choice, do I?"

"Heh. Smart, I like that. Walk with me a little, would you?"

"So, what is that you wish to say to me?

"Do you believe in fate, Jaune Arc?"

"…I don't think so? There is nothing to believe about fate- we all write our own."

"That would be correct. However, it is not. All humans and Faunuskind are bound by chains of fate, no matter how much they wish for, they just can't seem to break it. It's not that they can, the simple fact would be they were never meant to be. We all live a story already written down for us."

"I don't understand what you mean…but I will tell you one thing, no one writes my story or anyone's story in fact."

"Heh. That's where you are wrong, the ink of fates is never in your hands nor is the strength to break the chain, however, this doesn't mean that it's not possible."

Jaune looked at the guy, annoyed, "Is there a point to this conversation? Fates? Chains?"

"There is Jaune Arc, there is a reason to all of this. Power is like a magnet, it attracts people. Power attracts power. So does fate. It attracts people."

"You mean to say, we all were destined to meet? I don't believe that this is a tournament, there will be people."

"However, think about it Jaune…cancellation of Vytal Festival? Elections? Suddenly drop of the tournament? As much as people would deny it, it exists- Fate."

"Is there a reason you are preaching me this? That you are telling me of all people about this? I don't even know much about you."

Ozymandias just smirked, "That's fine, I just wanted you to know about it. I don't preach about this much, but it is what it is- however, do remember something, should you want to make it past us, you need to climb the mountain top, and you aren't ready for it."

Jaune narrowed his eyes, "Your conversation was all over the place, what exactly did you want to tell me."

"I have told you enough that is…however, I do pray for your success."

Saying so Ozymandias walked off, Scáthach too. For the first time in life, Jaune was utterly confused.

However, some words were starting to live rent-free on his head. Whatever Ozymandias spoke it was now bugging him.

'Shit. I can't lose my focus, not here. I have to be prepared…but still, chains of fate? What did he mean? What did the mountain top mean?'

Jaune walked back to his peers, only now did he notice, everyone had a shocked expression- except for Fox? The guy couldn't see but, hey! Cut him some slack.

"Guys…?"

Cardin was about to say something when once again all of them were interrupted.

"JAUNE!"

Artoria Pendragon was waving, openly towards him. This time, not just his peers but everyone else was dumbfounded by this.

Jaune just realized. Artoria was a fucking princess, she is bound to be famous! He was about to get an unreasoned amount of attraction.

Jaune just simply waved back.

"JAUNE! YOU HAVE RUINED ME! YOU BETTER TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!"

…?

If there was a chance that colosseum could fall silent, this was the moment. The start of the day was not good, not good at all.

Now all eyes were on him…. he could hear whispers!

"He ruined the princess! Do you think the king will let him live?"

"Ah~ Romantic love between pheasant and royalty."

"Dammit, what does he have that I don't?"

"Are we sure he is the guy, for all we know…she must be referring to some different, Jaune?"

Goddammit, Artoria!

People would spread this gossip and the king…people would misinterpret the words.

Unwanted attention.

"You know Jaune when I first said that it was sheer luck that you were partnered with Pyrrha Nikos? I was wrong. You are a celebrity magnet. Nikos, The Tyrant, Prince of Egypt, Princess of Wales and Princess of Artoria and apparently you know her very well?"

Cardin spoke, finally waking up from the trance.

Coco on the other hand.

SMACK!

"Ouch!"

"Damn Arc! Ruined a princess for other men? Aren't you a horn dog! Good for you…how exactly was she?"

"There was nothing between us, we just had breakfast, lunch…and sometimes dinner, why?"

"My goodness, you were already-"

"Jaune."

Interruption part three. However, this time it was for a different reason, Coco sled down her glasses as she stared at the man walking towards them.

"Damn, who is he? I'll definitely call him, daddy!"

"Coco!"

Jaune decided it would be best to give a short introduction.

"Guys, this is my teacher, Lancelot- Lancelot there are my friends."

Lancelot didn't look that much interested.

"Happy for you kid, nice to meet them- how about coming with me, you have some things to explain to me."

Lancelot glared. Shit! This is bad.

"Guys, I'll see you soon then."

Pyrrha, her uncle, Team CFVY, and CRDL witnessed the duo of student and teacher leaving.

…" Do you think he gave the princess his Arc meat?"

"I will stop you right there, Dove, don't continue."

Mercury was impressed. He didn't know so many from Beacon would be here, then again- he and Emerald weren't taking part anyway. Cinder denied them.

Well, Mercury was impressed for another reason, he didn't know Jaune Arc had it in him.

"Mercury!"

"What?"

Emerald looked troubled.

"Tyrian isn't here, or anywhere, Cinder can't seem to contact him."

Mercury blinked. This wasn't supposed to happen.

"What should we do?"

"For now? Let's keep a low profile, the king has arrived and the announcer as well. Let's just get this started, Tyrian isn't foolish enough to start a fight here."

"I hope so."

7th June, Monday- RX21, 10:30

The podium was set as finally the announcer walked in. He has slick black hair cleaned and set in a proper manner. Wearing a black overcoat and he appeared to be smoking from the pipe.

Taking a puff as he blew it towards the skies.

"Welcome everyone, to the Fourth 'Battlefield of Warriors', the '100 Year Tournament' I shall be the host of this honorable competition, for the chance was provided to me. Good day to you all, my name is Sherlock Holmes, and let's start!"

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!

Screams and cheers. As the fireworks blew, Jaune Arc saw every one his friends, new friends…strangers, the King.

"You ready?"

Even without gazing towards Lancelot, he, even though he was nervous, he spoke.

"Never been better."

"Before we go to the preliminaries, let me talk about the main competition first. Originally it was planned for the top 20, but now- it has been changed to the top 14, due to so many participating. Making it even more of a difficult challenge.

Now, in order to make it to the top 14, all of you will have 10 matches each- and in those 10 matches, you have to win 9 of them to place yourself in the position. Your opponent's name would be provided to you in your scroll.

Remember, neither the preliminaries nor those 10 matches would be aired on T.V. the result and the top 14 would be the ones that the world would know.

First, preliminaries would be divided into five days. Each day a batch will be held. Now in preliminary, you all will be given two fights.

In order to get to the second round where you would be provided with 10 fights, you need to win at least one of the two rounds in preliminaries. However, there's a catch, should you win both of them- during the second round, you will be provided with 5 victories, as such you would only have to win 4 more rounds to get to the top 14.

Lose both of them, you fail.

Lose one and you need to fight all 10 fights in the second round and win 9 to proceed.

Both the round of preliminaries will be held on the same day, regardless of your situation.

As such, these are the Day 1 participant.

A/n: -

This is the first part. Hope you enjoyed the Tee-tee moments between Jaune and Artoria.

Second, all characters have their respective RWBY appearance except for Jaune, and for the new ones? I will write them in the next chapter.
