At Eda's shop, King was busy trying to grab hold of a flag flapping above him while Luz was trying to find ways to drum up business without giving away too much attention for Eda. So far, the only thing she had in mind was selling any relics that she thought would be valuable here. But considering that this dimension had witches, demons and other mythological creatures and artifacts that would make the things she find pale in comparison, she marked that idea down as fail. On the bright side, some things amongst the junk were of great value to her, as they were to be considered weapons used by her ancestors. She proves this by holding up and examining a familiar bottle that's filled with what looks like simple water, but in fact holds great power.

"Thank you, Owlbert."

"Well, well. Look at what we have, girls." A familiar annoying voice came by as Luz turned her head to see Boscha and two friends of hers coming over to the store. She did notice that they all were wearing Devil Forgemaster uniforms; seems as if this new class at Hexside was started to get really popular. "Lady of the hour, Luz Belmont. Running a shop of some junk that came from her dimension."

"I remember you. The three-eyed freak with the loud mouth. You come to act all tough?"

"Not really." Boscha said. "I've just come to take an ironic Penstagram next to your pathetic little stand."

Luz just looked unamused as Boscha took some pictures from her scroll.

"Am I supposed to fazed in anyway?" She asked her, to which Boscha replied "You would be, knowing that there are vigilantes out for your head, since you're commanding such a high bounty. Higher than the Owl Lady, no doubt."

And without a second through, Luz grabbed hold of Boscha and pulled her off her feet as she got in her face and growled "Is that what you're really here for? Because if you are, I swear it will not end well for you."

But Boshca just held up both hands in a surrendering pose as she said "Please, Belmont. If I wanted to turn you in, I would've done so already."

"Like you'd be given the chance." Luz said as she throws Boscha away from her. Skara and the other student help Boscha back up as she then dusts herself and look furiously at Luz.

"And what is it that you can do, human? Spit venom at me?"

With that said, a bottle was thrown at their feet, which burst into flames on impact, scaring the three as they looked to see Luz juggling another bottle in her hands. King came by her shoulder and shouted "Anymore stupid questions you want to ask?"

"You three are not even worth a good bottle of Holy Water." Luz said in a snobbish tone, to which Boscha scoffs as she and friends begin to leave.

"You'll regret that, Belmont! And you're little demon too!" She yelled while walking away and cackling. Her laugh reminded Luz of the witch from the Wizard of Oz, as it was dead on from the original. Soon after, did Eda come around and looked to see that Boscha was already gone.

"Damn. Looks like I missed some easy pickings." She said.

"Meh. They were jerks anyway." Luz replied.

"Well, since there doesn't seem to be much business as of now, how about I let you off the hook for today, Luz?"

"Seriously?" Luz asked.

"Yeah." Eda answered. "Bet you want to continue looking for answers about your family's history."

"Well, now that you mentioned it, there is one lead I think is worth looking at." Luz said. "Can I borrow the portal?"

"You're heading home?" King asked concerningly. "A-Are you coming back?"

"Of course." Luz said, giving King some relief. "Look, my mother was married to a Belmont. So, I figured she may know something."

Eda replied "I would hope so. Unless your father was secretive."

"No, but he did suffer from amnesia until I was 4."

"Oh. Well, you're probably not gonna find much then."

"Thanks for the vote of confidence." Luz said. "I'll see you guys later."

And with that, she left the stand alone with Eda and King, who began to talk about her as she walks away.

"Luz has it easy! She has all that power and skills coming straight from her bloodline." King said before pointing to Eda. "You're supposed to be 'The Most Powerful Witch on the Boiling Isles', and yet it seems like you can't even poof your problems away!"

"Oh yeah?" Eda asked. "You're one to talk. You're pampered all day like a dang baby. How hard is that life?"

"I don't know if you noticed, but I am NOT a baby!"

"Then why are you screaming like one." Eda said with a smirk.

King then shouted "My life is a living nightmare!"

"Well, there's only one thing to do when friends can't see eye to eye." Eda said with an idea in mind.

"Body swap?"

"Body swap!"

"Loser cleans up after Hooty?" King betted.

"You're on!" Eda said confidently.

As Luz was walking back to the Owl House, she was unaware that she was being watched. The Emperor's Coven were now taking the opportunity to capture themselves a Belmont. Lilith was one to jump on the opportunity, as she wished to see Luz wiped from the face of the realm.

"No longer will she be a danger to anyone in this realm or to my sister." She whispered before turning to the soldiers. "Detain the Belmont girl...by any means necessary."

And with that, they scattered around the area until they practically surrounded Luz in hiding. It was at that moment did Luz sense that she was being watched, making her stop in her tracks before she then took out her whip. Soon enough, the Coven Scouts started to come out from hiding and charged at Luz with weapons. Cracking her whip, Luz spun it around herself, hitting each an everyone of the scouts before they could even get a few feet close to her. Those who didn't strike first then decided to come out, but immediately regretted afterword as they were soon on the ground, holding their masks faces and screaming in muffled pain. More then tried to gang up on her, to which Luz responded with a flask of Holy Water, throwing it to ground and watching the scouts burst into a heavenly fire. Whichever scouts didn't attack or were recovering from a crack of the whip they just took were slowly starting to back away from Luz in fear as she glared at them.

She then looked to one on the ground, who was then trying crawl away but not before Luz grabbed hold and made him face her...

"P-P-Please! We were only doing our jobs!" The scout pleaded.

"Then tell your leader to stay out of my way before things get ugly." Luz threatened.

"That won't be necessary."

Once again hearing another familiar voice, Luz turned to see the Coven Leader, Lilith walking towards her with staff in hand, having a scowl to go against Luz's glare.

"Eda's sister, Lilith, as I recall. You don't look much like a succubus though.

"What are you getting at, child?" Lilith asked.

"Oh nothing."

"In any case, you will come with me quietly and willingly or you will face consequences for your actions." The Coven Leader ordered.

"If it makes you feel any better, I was planning on heading back to my home dimension today." Luz said. "Now, if you can kindly get out of my way, I can continue doing as I planned!"

"Not likely." Lilith said, not budging. "Since you've aligned myself with my sister, I see no better way off getting to her than through you."

"You are terribly deluded, Lilith. You can't force Eda to be by your side, just as you can't force me to do what you ask. Best to give up and leave us alone."

"It is you who are deluded, just like Edalyn! She fails to see the benefits of joining the Emperor's Coven, causing herself to be branded a traitor and leaving me no choice but to apprehend her. And you simply do not belong her, for your very presence is a threat to our way of life and for that should we see you executed!"

"You're welcome to try..." Luz said, pulling at her whip as Lilith fires upon her. In a defensive stance, Luz executes a perfect guard which stops Lilith's attack all together. The Coven Leader was surprised by this as she then sees Luz swing her whip at her, forcing her to block. Unfortunately, she didn't have the same skills as Luz as the crack of the whip pushes her back a few feet. Dust canvased the area and by the time it cleared, Luz was gone. Lilith growled at this, feeling to have been played. Luz was running back into Bonesborough, soon hiding in an alley and looking around to if she was followed.

"This is now how I wanted the day to go." Luz said. "I still need answers from my mother. I have to get back to the house without leading anyone back with me. Otherwise, I may as well be running around in circles all day. Eda could help me, I'll have to find her."

Seeing more scouts and guards searching around the area, Luz ran deeper into the alley until she decided to get off the streets. Making her way to the rooftops, she hops from one building to the other while hoping to stay ahead of the Emperor's Coven. Hopefully, she wouldn't have to deal with any other people hunting her. It was then, she noticed that water balloons were being dropped onto people and huge tentacles were coming from the puddles left over.

"What in the-?"

The sound of nearby laughter drew her attention to a pair of Hexside students being the cause of this. They were at the top of a cliff, and this made Luz curious. Looking back, she could see that it was at least out of the coven soldiers.

"It'll have to do for now. Now, to get there as fast as possible."

Putting her magic to the test, she tapped into her bloodline's ancient power and summoned the power of the cyclone boots. They allowed her to run as fast as a wolf and allowed her to practically hover over the buildings she hopped. Jumping up to the cliff, she felt another one of the ancient powers come to life as a pair of ghastly wings appeared from back. The seraphim shoulders, allowing her to jump to the top of the cliff with ease. Unfortunately, her little stunt caused her to get the attention of the two students dropping water balloons, who recognized almost her right away.

"Oh my Titan!" The student known as Skara said as she saw Luz. "It's her! The Belmont!"

The other student dropped his balloon in shock and tentacles came from the puddle. Luz ignored the two as she heads over to the shack. Inside, there was Boscha and Amelia on their scrolls while another student flying upside down with winged boots, attempting to do a sit-up. Failing badly though.

"It's not possible, so just give up." Boscha said.

"I can do it! I'm just having a bad day!" The student said, still trying.

"Sure, you are." She replied while taking a picture.

"Uh, ahem."

Their attention was then brought to Luz at the entrance, leaving them shocked to see her again. Boscha, however, glared at her, still ticked off about the little stunt she pulled back at the market.

"What are you doing here?!" She yelled. "Get out!"

Luz sighed as then said "Boscha, I need help."

"You come to me for help after you nearly melted me?"

"That was like 10 minutes ago." Luz said. "Stop living in the past."

"Do show some respect, Boscha." Amelia said. "She is a Belmont, after all."

Boscha replied "That no longer means anything to me. My new teacher has taught me not to fear hunters such as her."

"I see you're now taking the Devil Forging class, same as Amity." Luz said, observing Boscha's uniform. "Who is this teacher of yours?"

"Not your concern." Boscha said. "In any case, I've have already learned a lot from my new class. Such as skills to match yours and Amity in combat."

"Why would a witch need to know such things?"

"So that I can do THIS!"

Next thing Luz know was that she pushed back outside the shack by a Shadow Kick. The shocked the other students, who were caught off guard by Boscha's action. Sliding too close to the cliff side, she lifted up her head to see Boscha walking towards her.

"I'm already better than Amity in class. I think it's safe to say that I can easily surpass you." Boscha said before reaching behind her back. "Allow me to show you what I've learned."

It was then that she took out a staff that Luz recognized as an ancient weapon. A bladed staff with batwings used by a insane Devil Forgemaster during Trevor's time.

"The Chauve-Souris..." Luz said in shock. The look of the weapon made her afraid of what Boscha was attempting. "Boscha...whatever you're thinking...

"Too late." Boscha said in a low tone, as then a dark tattoo began to appear below her right eye. And that frightened Luz as she thought to herself "She's turning into Isaac. This is so not good."

"Boscha, wait!" Amelia said, but it was too late as the young witch advanced upon Luz, who had no choice but to defend herself. Luz had to admit that she was wielding that staff with such skill, but it was all unnatural, even for the Boiling Isles. It felt almost like Isaac's spirit had taken over Boscha as she was attacking the same way he did. Nevertheless, Luz wasn't gonna attack her, knowing that she's not herself. Seeing her like this made her want to check out this new class, as she dodged another attack from the staff and figured now was the best to relieve Boscha of it. Taking the whip, she swung and wrapped it around the Chauve-Souris and began to try and pull it away from Boscha.

"Mind if I borrow this?" Luz said as she gave a mighty tug and managed to get the staff out of Boscha's grip. Then, she merely tosses it off the cliff as she sees Boscha looks enraged. And it was then that Skara tried to get close to Boscha in an attempt to stop her.

"Boscha, stop-" She managed to say, grabbing hold of the witch's shoulder, but not before Boscha elbow's her in the face, knocking her down. This shocked the rest of her friends, as Boscha then charged at Luz like an animal, but Luz was prepared for this. Taking out the light amulet, she faces it towards Boscha and a huge blinding light come out in the shape of a cross. This was another one of the ancient skills from Luz's ancestors, the Brotherhood's variation of the Holy Cross. The dazzling blaze of light energy practically blinded Boscha, as she fell to the ground screaming in pain before passing out. Putting the relic away, Luz walked over to her and got a good look at her face, seeing the tattoo fade and disappear.

Boscha's friend came by and helped Skara back on her feet as she was holding her bleeding nose in pain.

"She broke my nose!" She yelled out. "What is wrong with her?"

"She's corrupted." Luz said simply. "Maybe even cursed."

"Cursed?" Amelia asked. "How is that even possible?"

"I'm gonna guess it has something to do with that new class she's attending." Luz answered. "One of these days, I'm gonna give it a closer look. In the meantime, take yourselves over to some healers. I got somewhere to be."

"Sorry for the trouble, Ms. Belmont."

"Don't worry about it...and call me Luz." And with that, Luz jumped off the cliff and decided to head back into town. Back on the streets, she that the Chauve-Souris staff was embedded in the ground. She figured it was best to take it with her for safe keeping, but before she could her hands on it, Luz was blasted by electricity. She had fallen to the ground and before she drifted into unconsciousness, she briefly saw Lilith and guards standing over her as she took the Chauve-Souris from the ground.

"Nice staff..." Luz could hear Lilith saw before she went out cold. Next thing she knew when she came too, she was getting her mug shot taken and was glaring at the camera demon.

"This is some of my best work. Never shot a human before, let a alone a Belmont."

And then Luz broke the number sign she was wearing in half. Soon after, was she being taken to an interrogation room, in chains as she saw the guards taking her confiscated items.

"Heh, I think I might use this whip of yours after your gone, Belmont!" A guard laughed.

Luz merely smirked as she said "Go ahead and try. You'll end up suffering more than those who meet the wrong end of it."

Meanwhile, Lilith was walking down the hall, gaining the attention of some guards as she walked by. She soon stopped by the room interrogation room where they holding Luz as the guards greet her.

"Madame Lilith, to what do we owe this honor?" One of the guards asked.

"I wish to talk to the Belmont. Immediately."

"But Madame, she is to be public executed." The guard replied. "I have the order right here."

"And she will be. I just have a few things to say." Lilith said as she then enters the interrogation room. Luz held her head down and didn't bother to notice Lilith standing across from her.

"How the mighty have fallen, Belmont." She started to say. "A pity you hadn't taken my offer. I would not be as merciful as I am to my sister."

"You just don't know how to take a hint, do you?" Luz said.

"Both you and Edalyn simply fail to see reason-"

"And you fail to see the corruption of your Emperor's system!" Luz yelled out. "I mean, blocking out all other magic when joining a coven? It's all a basic tactic to keep everyone in line! To make sure no one gets any ideas about rebelling!"

"The system is the only way for people to function in this chaotic realm!" Lilith argued. "This place was nothing but wild magic until Belos got into power! He is the Titan's will, and all others who go against his rule are made an example of!"

"Like Eda?"

Lilith paused for a moment before saying "That's different! Emperor Belos has given her many chances to join.

"All of which she spat back in his face." Luz said. "Do you really think your Emperor will have her join now?"

"What are you getting at, human?" Lilith asked.

"To your Emperor, Eda is just another example soon to be made public. That's why she refused to join any coven, but instead joined the Brotherhood of Light, who's intentions were pure despite their own corrupt history! You are unbearably naive to put your faith in all this!"

"Edalyn is the naive one! And you are but a minor threat to our way of life." And then Lilith brings out her staff and points it towards Luz. "One that I will now have dealt with personally."

"You're welcome to try." Luz growled before kicked the table and then taking hold of Lilith's staff, forcing her to blast the wall apart. Pushing the witch back, Luz quickly ran through the halls, kicking any guard that she saw. She then saw the guard who had her stuff and then quickly jumped over him, taking the chains on her wrist and wrapping them around his neck. More guards came their way along with Lilith, almost surprised to see a child strangling on of their own.

"Hold on!" She ordered as they guards stopped in their tracks. Luz could already feel the chain giving in as the guard she was one was struggling to breath.

"Go ahead, Lilith." She threatened. "Show me what you can do!" And with that, did she break the chain over the guard's neck, knocking him down and possibly killing him. Retrieving her items, she ran out of the precinct with the guards on her tail. Fortunately, she tapped into the power of the cyclone boots and managed to outrun them.

"Now, if I were Eda and King right now, where I be right now?"

She then stopped when she saw a familiar looking demon, but with Eda's eyes and dressed in a adorable bee costume.

"Luz! Get me out of here!" Eda's voice cried out from King's body. Luz could see where this was going, so she heads over to the Kitty Cafe. Upon entering, she took hold of Eda.

"How? ...That's the whole question. How?"

"Well, me and King made a bet on who would last longer living each other's lives." Eda explained. "So, we ended up doing a body swap."

Luz replied. "Right...because that totally works out in every TV show that does it." Then, she turns to the audience and gives a wink before turning back. "Well anyway, I'll get you out of here!"

"I think not!" An older voice heard to which Luz turned and saw two elderly ladies glaring at her. "Look at this rotten teen, trying to steal one of our babies. "

"Yeah, I'm gonna have to take the baby off your hands." Luz said, holding Eda close.

The old lady, Roselle, then asks "And what gives you the right to do that, you brat?!"

"Ladies..." Luz said before taking out the whip, making the two women widen their eyes. "I'm Luz Noceda Belmont...savvy?"

One PoTC reference later, Luz was running through town with Eda in her hands, having scared the living delights out of the two ladies. Now, she searches for King while also dodging scouts and guards coming from all sides, as well as leaving a few whip marks on their masks. Back to the market, they could see King in Eda's body, sleeping on the stand where no one else is around. Eda could see that he hasn't really had much a trying day as her, so this would technically mean he won the bet. Luz slams her hand down on the standing, waking King up.

"King!" She screams as the demon in the witch's perks his head up and immediately falls over. He stand up and looks mad that his nap's been interrupted, but then sees Eda in her silly costume, and smiles.

"Well, I could see you've had a really trying day." He said. "Not so easy being me, now is it?"

"Yeah, yeah, you won! Now time to switch back!" Eda screamed as Luz put her down and stood back as they two switched back bodies. Strangely enough, when they did turn back, Eda was still wearing her costume, to which she quickly tears off in embarrassment. Lu smirked in amusement, but then the trio quickly find themselves surrounded by Coven Soldiers, Lilith being among them, not looking happy what so ever.

"I was right, it seems. You, Belmont, did in fact lead me to my sister." She said with pride. "Once you're out of the way, Edalyn is coming with me."

Luz, looking pissed, brought her whip and activated her light magic as she said "I am real sick and tired of your sister today, Eda."

"Welcome to my world, Luz." Eda said.

"You are all coming with me!" Lilith ordered, pointing her staff towards them.

"Like hell, we are!"

And it was then that Luz activated the greatest of Light Magic Techniques, one mastered by the greatest of warriors by the Brotherhood, the Ultimate Light. Spinning her whip while engulfed in her blue aura, Luz created a vortex around herself and blasted the soldiers away from her. Lilith was shocked by this as she tried hold her own, but instead met the same result as her soldiers, yet merely being blasted a few feet away. She struggles to get back on her feet and she faces them again.

"It will take more than that to stop-WHAT?!"

Looking up at the sky, she could the trio were airborne as Luz threw a few bottles of holy water down, causing several heavenly fires to explode around the area as Lilith growls in frustration, failing once again to apprehend her sister and to get her hands on the Belmont. Back at the house, Eda was left to deal with cleaning up after Hooty, who left a mess in front of the house while King enjoyed his victory the only way he knew how, napping. All the while, Luz was getting ready to return to earth as she had the key and the portal and she was prepared to confront her mother about this. King saw this and was a little bit concerned.

"Hey." She said, getting her attention. "You do promise to come back, right?"

"Of course." Luz said. "I'm not done here yet. Besides, I wouldn't want to miss you, King."

Me neither." King said happily as Luz opens the portal and heads through...

"Hope you can take the truth, mom."
