Edit: I have made an intro for this fic and posted it on YouTube. I am not allowed to post links on this site, and I have the video marked as unlisted to avoid copyright strikes, but if you want to see it, here's what I can post of the video link: youtu . be / B4kd4iqwQew

I trust you guys know how to remove the spaces there to make the link usable, but if you don't want to bother with that, the link is also available to the intro on Ao3 and Wattpad has it directly inserted into it since they do allow links, or in Wattpad's case video files, and my story is cross posted to both those sites.

Chapter I - Prologue

Earth: Musutafu Japan

3:7:16 GrS

It was a bright and sunny evening that welcomed a four-year-old Izuku Midoriya on his way home from preschool. The beautiful weather did nothing to improve his mood however, as a constant stream of tears trailed down his bruised face.

Quirkless. The word rang through his head as if on a disgusting loop. In a world full of people having superpowers called quirks, he had nothing. After getting the "diagnosis of his condition" yesterday - he may not have understood those words, but he recognized the disgust in the doctor's voice - he and his mother took the bullet train home from the doctor's office without a word. She didn't even look at him on the way, not that he had blamed her.

When they had gotten home, he silently went to his room to watch his favorite video. It was disaster footage from a long time ago, but more importantly it was the debut of All Might, the world's number one hero. "Have no fear dear citizens!" He had shouted in the video, the camera zooming in to show him walking out of the ruined buildings with at least half a dozen people perched on top of his back. He showed no signs of struggling with the weight as he sported an ever constant and reassuring smile. All Might gave out a booming laugh as he stepped onto an overturned bus, saying his now iconic catchphrase, "You are safe, because I am here!"

Watching the video had never failed to cheer him up before, but that night it just didn't seem the same. All Might was the greatest hero in the world, with a power capable of changing the weather with a single punch. Now all watching the hero in action did was drive the fact that Izuku would never be as great of a hero as All Might deeper into his heart. He had lost track of how long he was crying for, rewatching the same video on repeat when he heard his bedroom door open behind him.

"He always has a smile on his face no matter how hard it is," he had said, his voice watery from crying so long. When the video ended once more, he turned his chair to face the now open door and was barely able to make out the blurry figure of his mom through his tears. "Do you think I can be a hero too?"

His mom had leaped forward at that question, engulfing him in an almost bone crushing hug. "I'm sorry Izuku," she said hoarsely through her own tears, shattering the already frail hopes of his dream. "I wish things were different."

It had been exactly what he didn't want to hear.

The next day wasn't any better. His mom had treated him like a piece of glass that morning. Although he appreciated the thought, he hated the thought of her treating him like damaged goods. She was going on about how she was thinking of quitting her job to support him at home and take care of him, and it only served to make him more upset. He didn't want her to give up her life for him.

After his mom dropped him off at school, he found out one of his classmates at school happened to be his doctor's grandson and it was only a matter of time before the entire school knew. His now former best friend was the first to change. It used to be that they would be the first hero team to make it to the number one spot, but that changed as soon as he heard the word quirkless.

"You're a worthless failure, Deku," Kacchan had said, purposely using an alternate way of reading his first name to say useless. He had beat him up during recess using his explosion quirk to give him several burns. The bruise now forming on the left side of Izuku's jaw, and his sizzling skin was a reminder that their friendship had evaporated.

His teachers did nothing to stop it. They gave a big speech on Izuku's quirk status and how the other kids need to be careful around him as he's "much more fragile" than them. And when the other kids started making fun of him, or in some cases hitting him and throwing things at him during class, they pretended not to notice.

After school let out, he waited over 30 minutes for his dad to show up and pick him up like usual, only for him not to come. After realizing he wasn't coming, Izuku decided he would walk home himself.

So, now here he was, a quirkless four-year-old boy walking home from preschool after his dad seemingly forgot about him; the beautiful weather only serving to make a mockery of his terrible mood.

After a depressing 20-minute walk, he finally made it to his apartment building and started climbing up the stairs to his floor. As he went up, he could faintly make out the sound of a man and woman yelling, with it only growing louder as he reached his apartment. He was about to knock on the door before he was able to make out the voices of his mom and dad on the other side.

"That boy is no child of mine! I would never be able to produce a dud like him!" He could hear his dad yell.

"He's our son!" His mom screamed back. "He is our flesh and blood! It isn't his fault he's quirkless!"

"Well, it sure as hell isn't my fault! Hell, I have half a mind to ask for a DNA test!"

"Do you really think that little of me!? To think I would sleep with another man!?" A sound of glass shattering could be heard from the apartment. "You had no problem calling him your son two days ago!"

"You're no better! Weren't you talking about putting him in an orphanage so they can 'take care of him better'!?"

"At least I care for him! I just want him to have parents who have time to take care of his special needs! I can't quit my job, so I can't do it!"

"You act all noble, but you are the same as me!"

Izuku's hand lowered from the door as he heard his mom and dad scream at each other. It was painfully obvious to even Izuku's young mind that any relationship his parents had was now over. And they were talking about giving him away. Because of him. Because he was quirkless, defective, worthless... A good for nothing Deku.

Turning away from his apartment door, he tried to ignore the sounds of his parents arguing as he went back downstairs. He walked outside and picked a direction to go, not really having a destination in mind. Eventually he ended up at his favorite playground. He used to play here back when Kacchan and him were younger. It was here where Kacchan showed him his quirk for the first time, and where they promised to start a hero agency together and become the number one heroes.

Sitting on one of the swings, he stared out into the horizon and the now setting sun, wondering how everything had gone so wrong within the course of 24 hours.

'At least Mom still loves me,' he thought bitterly. Though, he wasn't sure that mattered anymore with her talking about giving him away. He didn't want or need an adult treating him like glass and tending to his every need.

As he glanced up into the now orange sky, he saw a glint in the horizon. Squinting his eyes in its direction, he sees a metal object in the distance, falling from the sky with smoke trailing behind it.

'What is that?' He stands up from the swing set and walks forward, placing his hand over his eyes to block out the sun.

'It seems to be getting bigger.' As that thought goes through his head his eyes widen as he starts backing up. When he was about to run, the object soars overhead with a loud whine. He turns his head to follow the object only to see it disappear in the trees of the forest behind him with a loud crash. 'Was that a plane? It didn't look like one.'

He is about to go call for help when he remembers a quote that All Might said in an interview a while back, "Helping someone when you don't technically have to is the essence of being a hero." With those words running through his head, he runs into the forest to help.

As he goes deeper into the forest, he spots trees with splintered branches, some of them even knocked over. They lead a trail to what he could only describe as an alien spacecraft. The ship was painted a bright color scheme of red and white, and shaped like an arrowhead. On what appeared to be the rear of the ship was a glass bubble that contained the cockpit. Realizing that whoever crashed the ship had not got out yet, he ran forward to help.

As he got to the cockpit, he was able to see a human man inside. He looked to be in his twenties, with his auburn hair in a mess and a large gash on his forehead. Izuku looked for anything looking like a mechanism to release the hatch or any hidden doors when he heard a series of beeping behind him. He turned to see a domed protrusion sticking out of the ship right in front of the cockpit. It twisted around to show a weird looking mechanical eye pointing at him and emitted another round of beeps.

"A robot?" Izuku asked, only to for it to beep once more in... confusion? 'How can it sound like it's confused with just beeping?' He thought. Realizing he probably spoke a different language being alien, he pointed to the man and tried to show he wanted to help. "Open... Door?" He asked slowly.

The machine beeped once more and turned its head back around. He was about to ask again when he heard a hiss behind him. Turning around he saw that the glass bubble had shot up, allowing Izuku to reach the man. He was wearing a strange set of robes he could see being on a monk and had a silver object hooked on his belt. His lips were blue, and his skin was pale. Izuku reached over to pull him out only to realize he was too heavy.

He looked back to the robot who was looking at him again. "Can you help?" He asked, moving his arms to show what he meant with each word.

The robot beeped again and shot up from his spot in the ship, leaving a hole where he was just moments before. The machine had a strange design, being the same colors as the ship and with a domed head and long cylinder making up its main body. On either side of the cylinder was a large leg with treads on the bottom. It turned its body to an angle to extend another tread from the bottom of it and moved towards the cockpit.

As it got close it put up its center tread back in its body and opened up several panels on the front of its body, extending some kind of spindly arms. Together Izuku and the strange robot pulled the man out of the ruined ship and set him against a tree.

'His lips are not blue anymore,' Izuku noticed. He took a closer look on the gash on the man's forehead and then at his own clothes. He started pulling on his sleeve to rip it when the robot rolled up to him and extended a spinning saw blade connected to one of its arms. Izuku panicked and jumped away, "What are you doing?"

The robot gave an offended beep and hopped back and forth on its legs. "O-oh," he said dumbly. He took off the sleeve to one of his arms and held it up to the saw for it to cut it.

With the makeshift bandage in hand, he started to tie it around the man's head. His skin had started to turn back to its original color and his lips were no longer blue, but that wound still looked bad.

He tied the cloth around his head and turned towards the robot. "Thanks, buddy," he said. It let loose a series of happy beeps as Izuku patted its side.

Izuku sat down against another tree as he waited for the man to wake up. He had been waiting there for close to a half hour before he heard the man start groaning. The robot started a nonstop series of beeps as the man started coughing.

"I'm up! I'm okay R4," he said in perfect English. Izuku only understood him because he learned English to watch some of All Might's interviews during his time in America. "What hit us?"

'Is he from there?' Izuku thought confused as the robot beeped some more. The ship looked alien, and he's never heard of a robot like the one that helped him. The man looked around, spotting his ship lying amongst the broken trees. He looked confused for a moment before looking around once more and spotting Izuku sitting near him.

"Hello there."

Fun Facts: The Delta-7 Interceptor, the ship Obi-Wan crashed in this chapter, is not consistent with lore here. The Delta-7's astromech port was actually on the left side of the ship, and since it was so thin, the astromech was built into the fighter. Obviously, that wouldn't work for this scene, so I went with the Clone Wars animated variant that had the astromech port that the droid can dock into placed in front of the cockpit. Also, the date at the beginning is a real date system in Star Wars Legends. GrS stands for Great ReSynchronization and is set up as [Year[Month[Day]. It was set up 3 years before the Battle of Naboo in 35 BBY and continues to be used for the next 60 years. Some important dates using it are 13:5:21 GrS (Battle of Geonosis), 16:5:22 GrS (Order 66) and 35:3:7 GrS (Battle of Yavin). Unfortunately, there is no exact date for Naboo, only that it was about a month and 10 years before Geonosis, so I will be putting it at 3:4:16 GrS and for sake of simplicity I will have the months and days match the standard Earth calendar even though Coruscant (what is used as standard) actually has 368 days in a year, not 365. So, it is July 16, 3 years after this calendar was established and exactly three months after Naboo and Episode 1. This also makes Izuku's birthday on 1:7:15 BrS (Before ReSynchronization).

AN: Happy May the Fourth! I've been working on this story for a while, and now it is finally out there! This is the beginning of a three part trilogy doing a crossover between MHA and Star Wars. This first book will cover the prequel trilogy and the Clone Wars, the second will go back to MHA and the third will go to the OT. It may seem out there and strange for this type of crossover, but I wanted to. Sue Me... Anyway, I am wanting to keep this story in weekly updates, so expect another chapter next Wednesday. I don't have anything else to say without rambling, so May the Fourth be with you!

PS: Before you ask, no. I will not do the sequel trilogy in these stories. They are a clusterfuck and I don't even want to attempt repairing them. Maybe if I get some help in repairing the beyond fucked up plots of those movies I will do a fourth book with them, but honestly, I don't think my heart will be in it.
