Author's Notes: Read and Review! This little experiment is working out well. I'm glad that some are enjoying the ideas that came to me. I haven't had much time to type these chapters. I'm going to be experimenting with Flashbacks in this FanFiction. I think it will make more sense as I continue the story. I also realized I messed up the acronym. It's not PHSA. It's HPSC. When I have time I will fix that.

Tell me in Reviews if you like the Flashback idea!

"Familiar Communication"

Summary: They said he couldn't be a Hero. That there was no way for him to gain a Quirk. Just like how they never thought that a madman would create a Death Game using a virtual reality machine?

Silica and her Familiar Pina were introduced to another Solo Player that Kirito the ((Black Swordsman)) knew. His green hooded cloak had a clasp of a forest green metal shaped in the form of a leaf. She could see dark green hair with black highlights from under the hood with his face covered in the shadows of the diner table. Kirito slapped the small figure on the back as he lifted a mug of some hot steaming brown liquid.

His voice let out a boyish yelp. The liquid splashed on the table and fell off the table as the cup fell from the table. "What the hell Kirito! Do you know how long long it took me to get the ingredients to make that?" The boy shoved his chair back and slugged the older boy in the stomach. "Why did you ask me to come? I had to leave my-"

Kirito let out a laugh as he pulled down the boys hood. "Chill out kid! I thought you would like to see this player. She managed to Tame a wild dragon. You know...the one you've been trying to find for Taming. It's pretty neat. We had to go find that flower to [Revive] a Familiar."

"Ah! That Orange or Red Guild gone then?" The green haired boy glanced at Kirito before looking at Silica.

She could see the soft glint of silver metal lining on top of a dark green leather armor underneath the cloak. A silver necklace in the shape of a serpentine dragon eating its own tail and a emerald for an eye had her recognize its significance. "Excuse me. Is that Jormungandr? From the Norse mythology? How did it appear here? Did you find it on a Quest?" Her eyes widened and she put her hand to her mouth as she gasped. "I'm so sorry. I'm Silica." She motioned to her Familiar who wrapped around her neck making her blush at the tickling feel of the dragons feathers. "This is Pina!" She could feel Pina's face tilt as it grew curious at the other boy.

She saw his emerald eyes glint in awe as he took in her Familiar. "Beautiful. So this is the famous Tamed Feathered Little Dragon? Amazing! At least Kayaba didn't mess up this ones classification like he did with some of the Bosses. What [Skills] does it have? What else-?"

Silica watched as the boy was slapped upside the head by Kirito. "Chill out Drakon and introduce yourself. Where's that horde of dragons you always have with you?" The older boys face switched from annoyance to shock as he lifted his hand away from Drakons hand. Then he panicked and started to swing his arm around. "What the heck Drakon? When did you get another? What's the number of this one? Get it off me already!"

Drakon laughed. "Blame Kayaba, Kirito! I think I'm having more fun here than anyone here in Aincrad could ever have!" A wide grin grew on his face. "That, mister 'I'll pay you anything Argo! Just give me Drakons location because I can't find him!', is my newest addition. Suppresor is quite useful. He doesn't like leaving my hair for some reason. Be glad we aren't out of the Safe Zone and you grabbed my wrist. I'm glad Kayaba listened to me about having a Basilisk classified as a classic wyrm type of dragon."

He chuckled and watched as a small, obsidian scaled, with dark emerald eyes bit into Kirito with what looked to Silica as green jade teeth. She saw the same shade on its claws that latched on to the back of his hand and she watched as its black whip like tail wrapped around his wrist in an attempt to stop it from dislodging from its apparent foe.

Both Silica and Kirito paled at a lime green garden snake that wrapped its tail around Drakons left arm with its head resting slightly before the wrist. "This one came with that necklace. A very nice addition with the [Martial Arts Skills]. Regular antidotes don't work for its venom and apparently the paralysis affect doesn't turn my opponent's to stone, but she is still very effective anyway." Kirito took a step back. "Don't worry Kirito. I can tell it to not use its moves through the Familiar Bond. This beauty likes to act like a whip for me. I guess you could say that I'm never without a weapon."

A short pause went between the three before Kirito sighed and lifted his left hand. "Care to take your thing now?"

"Fine! Suppresor come here boy!" Drakon held out his right hand with an affronted look before lifted the dragon to his head. "I'll have you know he is the perfect example of a Small Scaled Dragonling!"

Kirito grumbled before he sat down. "You mean to say it's a small dragon."

"For ignorant and simple headed fools like you who only know or came into the game to swing a sword around...Yes." Drakon sat down at the table. "You made me spill my coffee."

"Really? Coffee? That's what is important?" Muttered a facepalming Kirito. Kirito looked at Silica and pointed at a seat. "I thought you would like to meet another Tamer before I go. This kid-" he motioned to Drakon. "-can help you get better with your Familiar and dagger [Skills]. I also think he needs another friend to make him slow down. You've probably already heard about this crazy kid. He's-"

"The Green Dragon Hero." Silica muttered.

"So..." Kirito started as he leaned into the chair he sat on. "...What's with the bracelet and necklace?"

Drakon chuckled. "I have quite the collection of items and equipment. I'm pretty sure Kayaba is messing with me now. Remember, I told you that he took my suggestion?" His arm rose to display the snake bracelet. "This isn't just a simple snake. It's a dragon. Specifically a-"

Kirito facepalmed. "A basilisk? You're going for snakes now? Really?"

Drakon huffed. "Of course I'm not going for snakes! This is a wyrm you sword wielding maniac obsessed with the color black!"

"Okay..." Kirito nodded at the boy. "...It's not like you're a dagger wielding maniac who's obsessed with the color green?"

Silica could hear the older boys voice dripping with sarcasm.

She remembered their first meeting and she laughed.. Keiko Ayano laughed in front of the HPSC member in front of her Hero Aunt Ryuko. She slapped her wheel chairs armrest before tilting her head back and letting loose a howl of laughter.

Shakily, the malnourished girl wiped a tear from her right eye. Both Ryuko and the middle aged HPSC man with a light beard named Shinji watched her giggle. Her Aunt and her off work friends Rumi and Keigo watch with confused amusement as the girl slowly stopped giggling.

Keiko had a slight idea of what was going on. She smiled brightly at the man in front of her and tilted her head to gaze into the eyes of the Hero Hawks. She started giggling again.

Her Aunt lifted an eyebrow. "Keiko? Is there something you would like to add to the discussion?"

"Sure!" chirped the girl excitedly. "Sir? Have you ever played any video games or rpg's or mmorpg's? Anything of the sort?"

"Yes. Of course I have." Shinji's gruff voice spoke.

"That's cute!" Then she started giggling again. "What about you Hawks? I doubt it though." She ended her sentence in a sing song voice.

"Tell me. Did you know that he was a Hero fan boy at one time?" The girl tilted her head like cat trying to figure something out. "Did you know that he wrote multiple in depth analysises on Heroes? He told me multiple theories about you, Endeavor, and even All Might? "

Her chipper voice dropped and she glared at the HPSC member Shinji. Her attitude shifted and she used her Quirk to do a small transformation. Sharp teeth could be seen as she pulled her lip back into a snarl and her eyes shifted into a snake like quality.

"(Drakon) is smart." Her next words seemed to be filled with venom. "You better pray for your nonexistent souls if you try and turn him into a perfect soldier."

Keigo breathed in deeply. Shinji's eyes narrowed. Ryuko put a hand on her niece's shoulder. Rumi stared at Keigo and witnessed his reaction.

Shinji's voice was cross. Anger lacing his tone. "Are you threatening me girl?"

Keiko's face relaxed. "Sorry. I forgot that idiots like you forgot to read good pieces of literature as a kid. You seem to be ignorant on dragons as well."

She shook her head and turned to her Aunt. "Sorry about the language Auntie. I'm too used to intelligent people acting dumb to know that this guy is just a flat out dumbass. Why the flying dragons turd is this idiot still here?"

Rumi let out a light chuckle. "Kid. Your attention span is short. You were just threatening the guy."

Keiko scoffed. "Nah. That wasn't a threat. These dumbasses don't understand (Drakon) at all or believe anything the people from the Death Game say about him. It was a warning."

A chill went down Shinji's spine as he listened to the girl speak to her Aunt. "I mean, honestly, if he had a normal Quirk he would probably have a literal dragon transformation or mutation. Seriously. He fights like a beast possessed and had a drive to essentially break the game. Hell, that was one of his goals! Then these guys poked," She pointed at Shinji, "...prodded, and stabbed at his pride. Auntie...He named himself after a type of ancient dragon that battled demigods, gods, and possibly titans. He took that Username seriously."

"Ryuko..." Shinji's voice created a tension in the air of the house. A look of understanding, a small dribble of sweat on the mans brow that he wiped and the nervousness that shook his voice could be seen and heard. "I think...you should take him. I'm going to do paperwork to bring him. I think...it would be better if Izuku Midoriya was kept with you to supervise. If...If you want to bring other Heroes over...find a way to tell me or get Nezu to help coordinate things. I...I need a moment with Hawks."

He walked out the door of the house to the outside. The Hero at his side.

Keigo raised an eyebrow at his superior.

The mans shoulders slumped. "Hawks. Don't tell the President of the HPSC. From the reports I've been receiving from those being interviewed...This kid may just be what we need in this society. I'm asking you as not just a Hero, but a friend. I think...someone is a Traitor in the HPSC. You're our Ace..." A sad smile fell on his face. "He should be the face of the next generation of Heroes. Help him."

Keigo's eyes narrowed. "You destroyed evidence didn't you." It was a blanket statement that had the other man chuckle in a sad manner.

"I only edited it. I left out a few vital...pieces of information." A single tear slipped out from his left eye.

"Why did you visit then?" The Hero stood still as the man looked at a sakura tree about to bloom.

"To confirm with my own eyes...the sort of people who would follow the teen. To see the determination and the loyalty he has built." A genuine smile was on his face even with the sadness that could be seen in the mans eyes. "Do you know the kind of support the teen has that we've been discussing about? The people who are already making plans to help him?"

Hawks frowned for a moment. "No. I don't."

Shinji's voice was soft. "Did you know that the first person besides Izuku Midoriya, the one we known as (Drakon), ...was a Hero by the name of Power Loader? Within the game his Username was (Agil). Known as ((The Merchant)). A member of a Guild on the Front Lines and...worked continuously with a renowned blacksmith and info broker. The players known as (Lizbeth) and (Argo)... are known to want to be both Support and Hero Course hopefuls. They are both still dedicated to their crafts from in game and are working towards their goals...Even now. Each of those three were influential in finishing and completing the Death Game. Their Usernames are known throughout the SAO survivors. I've watched Power Loaders movements since he has been...interviewed."

Shinji gave a light chuckle. "Power Loader has been talking with Nezu. He's gained the approval to train an apprentice Support Hero who has the paperwork for the name Lizbeth. Nezu is personally overseeing the instruction and tutoring of one Ochaco Uraraka known as the info broker in the Death Game with the name of (Argo). That's not even half of it."

Keigo's jaw shifted to open slightly. "That...makes sense and none at all sir. Who else?"

"The proclaimed Heroes of SAO who discovered and fought (Heathcliff). Apparently (Kirito) the ((Black Swordsman)) is more influential than I thought. His in game wife is a heiress to a company. Along with her father owning the remainder of Kayaba's former company...they have both been on a crusade the last few days to find people he knows." A sad laugh escaped a no weary face.

"You just now saw the effects he now has on a top ten Pro Hero in his corner... weither he knows about their connection or not. That is not to say that they are the only ones looking for him to be in their corner...Their are some...disturbing reports from within the members of the ...unofficial Player Killer Guild known as Laughing Coffin. Along with... mentions of a League of Villains forming from within their ranks." A bitter smile overcame the mans face.

"What's wrong?" Keigo asked as his superior started to move his head slowly with his eyes searching for something.

"Hawks. Leave. Protect the SAO survivors linked to (Drakon). Go back to the house." A grim smile and sorrowful eyes looked at the Hero. "This is goodbye my young friend. Tell them I said good luck."

Without looking the man named Shinji walked away.

Keigo walked back into the tense house with confusion on his face.

Ryuko and Mirko looked at their acquaintance as he walked back inside. They were friends, but the Heroes had started to slip into work personas as they talked with Shinji.

Ryuko still had a hand on her niece's shoulder when she spoke. ""What's going on Hawks?"

The man that was usually so full of life was muted. As if he was drained by the short talk he had outside. "I..." The man slumped. "I don't know. He told me to tell you all good luck."

Six months before the end of SAO's Death Game had everything change for Shinji Ame.

Shinji was a high ranked HPSC member who worked with the SAO Survivors Taskforce. He had worked for two years with only a few days off to help them all. He watched as numbers plummeted and saw a steady decrease. He saw the numbers and statistics of the players lowering health.

The man was also seen as lesser even with years in the HPSC. It was as if he was demoted because of the Heroes who were locked into the game. The President had stated he needed to relax and oversee the rehabilitation of Heroes after they came out. If they could be molded as she thought fit...well, that was a bonus.

He did not expect to meet the woman who kept the mastermind alive. Nor did he expect to learn secrets about a long fought war in the shadows of Heroes and Villains. He did not expect to be handed a syringe filled with greenish black liquid before she was arrested. Nor did he expect the letter in his mail box about why and who should have what was in the syringe.

It was a surprise that Shinji agreed with the supposed evil mastermind. He had always wanted to be a Hero. So he would be a Quirkless boys Hero doing the wishes of a supposed evil mastermind, interfering with a two hundred year war, experimenting with genetics and modified Quirks beyond the scope of his organization, and possibly changing the course of history.

A smile graced his lips as he put the syringe out of the boy. A green glow spread from where he put the formula in the teen. From head to toe he could see the boy begin to heal.

Izuku Midoriya. Quirkless. Perfect base for a new Quirk. Known to save lives within the Death Game. Trained and helped teach multiple people to fight. An inspiration to many within the game. Someone who gave hope to a trapped and despairing genius.. A Hero with no affiliation or under the control of the HPSC.

This is the beginning of change. Thought Shinji at that moment.

Three days after meeting the three Heroes and the SAO survivor Shinji Ame sent an email and mailed a letter to Nezu. Along with doing that in the early morning, he went to his bank and a lawyers office to set up wills.

He went shopping and bought a gigantic custom made dragon sculpture from someone who was able to manipulate valuable rocks. A green western dragon with two long horns and with spikes running down the back. Sturdy jade legs and the dragons eyes glinted in the shop to display a beautiful pair of emeralds. A whip like tail surrounded its lower legs.

It stood on hind legs. Its upper legs had one up like it was coming down to crush something and the other acting like a shield. It's wings were spread and the bat like and green scaled wings had an angle as if it were showing that it was falling upon its prey.

The base of the structure held a broken egg like castle that seemed to be on top of a breaking dome. It was circular and spread bellow the dome in a beautiful blue with white clouds. This was all done on top of a thick gold layer with a plaque that said:

(The Green Dragon Hero)

The man made sure the shop could send it to the right location without issues of payment before heading to the stores door with a tear in his eye. A whispered "Beautiful." was heard by the artist as the man left.

He then left and ate from the fanciest restaurant he could and payed for one of every single item. After he was full he asked for a bottle of wine and two glasses before he left and bought a bouquet.

His last stop was an empty graveyard. He sat down at a gravestone after placing the bouquet down. He placed a wine glass on the grave and filled it before filling his own. He sighed as he watched the sunset. "To you my old friend. I hope your son can forgive what I did. I believe in your son. He'll be a fine Hero."

He drained his glass before he sat it down and sighed staring at the name on the gravestone with a smile on his weary face.

Hisashi Midoriya.

Then a gunshot rang out.

And Shinji Ame was no more.

Izuku Midoriya heard his mother sob. In her hand was a letter that fell to the floor as his mother started crying. The door was still open and he recognized the Hero Hawks.

Unlike when he saw the man on the news, he was somber. The Hero turned to him. "I'm sorry kid. I wish there was a better time, but you've been requested to be put under the control of Ryuko due to how your Quirk manifested."

The man sighed. "I wish I knew he had a connection to your family. He was a good man. The guy practically raised me."

The Hero put his hands on the woman's shoulders. "Ma'am. You can come with. It...might be better for everyone." The Midoriya matriarch broke and cried into her son.

"Izuku...(Drakon). I can promise you'll be with one of your friends." The Hero attempted to smile but it fell flat as he couldn't bring himself to do it.

The man waited for the Midoriya's to pack.

Izuku was taking longer than the Hero or mother thought. He had heard the name of the man who had died. It was familiar. Something he thought he heard about in one of his fathers old books. A yearbook and a journal.

He placed them in the suitcase along with a pack of clothes, his journals, a computer, and research material.

That wasn't what was taking so long. No. He had that done within minutes.

The problem he had were the two eggs. One that shined with a few emeralds and had a black surrounding. The other was a muted jade with numerous amounts of spirals on it with what looked like ivory.

Another problem was that he had started to feel an energy inside of himself that spread throughout his body. Ever since he had acquired the Quirk, he had learned that his strength was different from what he had in the real world.

That same energy was being sapped into the two eggs he recognized. They laid on his desk and he sat in his chair. He was focusing on feeding the energy into the eggs. It was exhausting compared to how they had originally hatched, but he recognized that genetics had a factor.

He knew the Skills [Familiar Bond, [Familiar Communication, [Familiar Characteristics, had taken affect as he felt a garbled collection of thoughts not his own and he could feel his eyes sharpen in focus.

He felt like he was being drained even as he saw a thin crack appear on the black shell. Izuku didn't didn't pay attention when his mother opened his door or when Hawks voice dropped off from greeting Izuku.

A wide grin spread across his face as a loud crack was heard from the other egg. He watched as a green nose smashed through the egg.

Using [Familiar Communication] he could hear the sound of the female voice right before a small wing smashed through the other egg.

"What on Aincrads green meadows is happening?" Came a regal sounding female voice. A tint of dissatisfaction could be heard.

"Dragon Turds! That freaking hurt! This hasn't happened since I first hatched!" The sound of a gruff voice seemed to grunt as more of the egg shattered with another small wing broke out.

"Is that you, ya lazy wing boy?" The female voice was softer than before.

"Wait? Is that you, you cursed worm?" The voice coming from the black egg paused. "Yes! We are twins now! I love you Queenie!"

"Suppresor. Shut up." Commanded the female voice. The beautiful green snake came out with a very small and thin body. There was no hint of armor or the strength to be used as a whip. It looked vulnerable. "I suppose this is the flesh realm that you talked about on a daily basis (Drakon)." The snake lifted its small head and stared at the boy.

"Wait! (Drakon)! Yes! A second chance to fight and prove my dominance against the black haired annoyance!"

The small dragon shattered the egg and scaterring it all over the desk.

"We have returned!" Grunted the gruff voice.

Izuku let out a laugh.

"You two are hilarious as ever!" The voice of Izuku came over the Skill. The newly born creatures watched as their partner yelped.

"(Drakon)? Can I eat the red rooster so it doesn't kill Queenie?" The sound of Suppresors voice could be heard in Izuku's head.

A chuckle ran into the depths of the creatures minds. "No. He's a hawk. Not a rooster. Although you do have permission to claw and use your [Drain] or [Hypnotize] on him. Queenie. Only use [Paralyze Fang] and nothing else."

Both adults paled as the boy placed his hands down on the table palm up before lifting the small dragon on top of his hair. The other was content to wrap around the boys left pointer finger and form a type of ring similar to the bracelet.

"I-Izuku?" Spoke Izuku's mother with hesitation. Then she fainted and the Hero held her head before it hit the ground.

Hawks looked up at the kid and noticed how the boys eyes glowed a light green. "So...kid? Is there something you want to tell me?"

Izuku grinned at the Hero. "My friends think you're a rooster."
