At the ruins of an abandoned castle, a man with platinum hair, dressed with the crest of Devil Forging, walks past the draw bridge before it collapses. After 3 years of peace, lost at an instant, it has lead this man to return to his roots and hunt down his once considered who had allowed darkness.

"Show yourself, Isaac! I know you're here!"

"Is that you...old friend?"

And that is when a man with crimson hair, wearing the same crest as our hero, appears alongside his favorite toy, a demon-type Innocent Devil reached to its full potential. He stairs down at the platinum haired man, who glares from the courtyard of the castle.

"It's been too long, Hector."

"I have finally tracked you down, Isaac! You're going to pay for what you did to Rosaly!"

"Tracked me down? I lured you here, all so that you play out your role, the fool who betrayed Lord Dracula and pays with his life." Isaac mockingly tempts Hector "You will have your revenge, but not before you reclaim the power that you revoked. The power of Dracula that still resides in this land."

"Devil Forging..." Hector looks shocked.

"Yes. The most forbidden of arts, a wisp of conjured matter can be transformed into a hellish devil! And only you and I are masters!"

"I gave up that power long ago!" Hector retorted. "Never again, shall I use it!"

Isaac replied "Oh, but you will. You'll have no choice. Without it, I could crush you in an instant... but that wouldn't be very satisfying, now would it? You deserve a most gruesome fate for the humiliation you brought upon me 3 years ago. Bereft of the power of devil forging, you cannot hope to pursue me! That is why you will reclaim your powers, and thence, follow where I lead you..." He turns his back towards Hector. "But in the end, the glorious vengeance you seek will not be yours...t'will be mine!"

Boscha was not having a good month. Ever since the arrival of the Belmont and her befriending Amity, she felt like her popularity was at risk. She even made Willow revoke the taunting name "Half-a-witch" with her success in Plant Magic and now power over some kind of elemental magic said to exist in the human's realm. How could this have happened?

"You are talented. You are a star. You may be hated, so long as you are feared." She said to herself as she puts her hair in its signature bun, then putting on a varsity jacket. "Most important of all, you are a winner..." Unknown to her was that mysterious tattoo appeared under her eye once more. "...and a master."

She was hoping to start the day with being admired by the students of Hexside, but upon entering the school, her spotlight was stolen by Willow, who demonstrated both her plant magic and speaker magic to everyone."

"No way!"

"A human taught her this?!"

"This is amazing."

Boscha growled as she said "Oh, you gotta be kidding me. What makes er so special with all those human parlor tricks?"

"For the record, Boscha, that is the kind of magic that masters in the human realm do." Amity stated. "And Willow is definitely a master."

"She doesn't deserve such a title. If anyone's a master here, it's me!"

"Oh, please! You know, I used to be like you, Boscha, obsessed with status, challenging my competition. But I grew up. When will you?"

This made the crowd laugh while Boscha turned her back at them all and growled angrily. Later on, Luz was arriving at the school to check on her friends. Yet, she could see that another thing was going that she wasn't fully aware of yet.

"What is it called again?" She asked Eda, to which the Owl Lady replied "Grudgby Season. My favorite thing back when I was school. I was a pro back in my gory days."

"Don't you mean, 'glory days'?" Luz asked.

"Those two, but I was unstoppable!"

"You don't cheat, did you?"

"Me? Cheat? No!" Eda could see that Luz was not buying it though. "Okay, maybe a little, but it was all about raw skill and best moves. That's how you win."

Luz replied "Well, at least that's something we can agree on."

"Yeah, well...blame your granduncle for teaching me how to be mature."

"What can I say? It's just how we Belmonts are." She then pulls a sleeping King from her hoody. "I'll see you later, King."

As puts the little demon in Eda's hair, she heads into Hexside. Heading to the History Class were Willow and Gus are, she could see how much admiration Willow has been getting as of late.

"Wow. I see your popularity is growing."

"Yeah. With me patching things up with Amity and you teaching me new magic, I've been more confident and everyone's been pretty nice." Willow says as she gestures to a flower shaped hair clip she's wearing. "I guess it shows." But suddenly, the hair clip levitates off of Willow's head and into Boscha's hand.

"Aw, Willow thinks she's popular now. How cute."

Luz groaned "Ugh. You again."

"It's weird that Amity hangs out with you now. Ever since Grom, she's gone soft." Boscha says as she puts the clip in her hair. "But don't worry, I'm still here to show you who's boss."

However, she's suddenly hit with a snowball and falls to the ground. That snowball was courtesy of Gus, he pulls the clip from her hair and gives it back to Willow. "You were saying?"

The tri-clops groaned angry, wiping the snow off of her face as she got back on her feet, looking ready to pummel them when all three brought their hands to her face. Each of them were showing a sphere of energy in their palms, white energy for Luz, fire energy for Willow and ice energy for Gus.

"Back of, Boscha." Willow said in a threatening.

"Or you'll be losing some depth perception." Luz added.

"Hey! What's going on over there?" said the teacher. She was about to punish the three for threatening Boscha...until he saw that Luz Belmont was with them. "O-Oh! Ms. Belmont! W-What can I do for you?"

"Boscha here is bothering us."

The tri-clops then attempt to look innocent, saying "My apologies, sir. I was just practicing for-"

"Get out, Boscha."

"...What?"

"Get out, please. If you're bothering them, leave them alone." The teacher said in a nervous tone. "Else, I'll have to report you to the Principal's office."

Boscha couldn't believe it. She thought she would get out of this, scot-free, but for once, a teacher wasn't sucking up to her. "But...you can possibly-"

"Get out before she kills us all!"

The tri-clops looked at the Belmont, who had a smirk on her face as Boscha growled and stomped out of the room.

"My frightening reputation proceeds me, it seems."

"She'll be back." Willow says "She always comes back."

"We'll be ready for her." Luz replied.

For the rest of the day, Boscha attempted to bother the three of them, throwing things at them, insulting them, but thanks to their new abilities, and with a little help from Principal Bump, they were able to get her to back off. And that took all day because she was relentless in their attempts to pick on them.

"Does that three-eyed prick ever learn to take a hint?" Luz asked as she, Gus and Willow were at the bottom of the stairs.

Gus then said "It was fun at first, cramping her style, but now it's just getting annoying that she won't leave us alone."

"It's like we're here primary targets." Willow said as she slumped on to steps. Unfortunately, that didn't last long.

"Flying trash can, 6 o'clock." Luz said, as Willow got up and kicked the trash can that was coming right at her, returning it to sender. It's contents spilled onto Boscha, who was not looking happy.

"AGGGHH! You little-" she started to say "You ruined my jacket!"

"I'm sorry, but I thought trash should stay where it belongs." Willow said, as Luz and Gus gave out "OOOOOOOOO-"

Boscha growled angrily before punching the side of the wall and moving back inside the building. Then Amity came to see the other three.

"What's going on?" She asks, with Luz answering "Oh, we're just having a little fun with Boscha. She's been trying to pick on us all day, but we've managed to dodge her attempts to humiliate us."

"Ugh, she's been extra unbearable this year, not to mention aggressive, but that might be because of you. No offense." Amity said.

"None taken." Luz replied "I'm used to it, at this point."

And it was then that Boscha came charging out the school, still covered in garbage and looking pissed as she came by the four.

"You...have insulted me for the last time, Half-a-Witch!" She screams at Willow. "You are supposed to know your place as the loser your are!"

But Willow, with a determined look on her face, said "The only one should who know their place right now is you, Boscha."

"Oh? Is that a challenge?"

"It might just be." Willow replied, with Gus looking a little concerned.

"Willow..."

"Well then...let's see how you far against me in Grudgby." Boscha said with an evil smile. Luz raised an eyebrow while Amity was looking a little surprised.

"...Alright." Willow accepts. "If I win, you have to stop picking on me and my friends."

"Fine. But I when, I get to use you and your friends for target practice." Boscha then kicks the ball at a tree trunk, sending it right through as its hole smokes. Willow wasn't phased though as Luz and Gus stood behind her. "...Deal." She said, accepting the match.

Boscha smiles sadistically as she leaves with saying "See you afterschool, losers." And then, the tree she shot at catches fire.

"Well, that came out of nowhere." Luz said right before Amity said to Willow. "This isn't a good idea, Willow. You've never played Grudgby before."

"True. But if it gets Boscha off our backs, I'll play at her level."

Luz padded Willow on the back, saying "You're already the better witch, Willow. Now all we're gonna need is some practice if we're gonna step up to Boscha and her team. Any ideas?"

"...Nope." Willow admitted. "I was caught up in the moment, so I didn't think ahead of time."

The two were left pondering on what to do until Amity spoke up. "I...may have some experience with the game before."

"Really?" Luz asks.

"Yep. Heck, I even used to be Team Captain before Boscha. I left because I did something stupid and got one of my teammates."

"...What did you do?"

Amity nervously replied. "I...may have tried to use a move used in Good Witch Azura 2: Field of Deadly Fates."

Luz looked surprised as she said "You watch that stuff? It's so cliché. Wow, and people said I was geeky for looking into mythology."

"Anyway...!" Amity interrupted, blushing from Luz's retort. " All because I had an idea of how things should be, it went disastrously wrong. I pushed them too far and never played after that day."

"But you're willing to help us getting Boscha off our backs by helping us with practice?" Willow asked, but Amity's answer was "Even better...I'll play on your team"

Willow surprised, asked "You'd do that for us?"

"That's what friends are for." And that made Willow smile. "You've really changed, Amity."

"Are you so surprised by that?" Amity said through a laugh. As both girls smiled at each other, Luz wrapped her arms around them both.

"Okay, are you girls gonna get sappy all day or are we gonna go and kick Boscha's ass?"

All three of them laughed as Amity said "Let's do it."

"Game on." Willow said.

Luz turned to Gus, saying "Raise those flags, Gus. You're gonna be cheering us on."

"Works for me!" Gus said "Whoo!"

Back at the Owl House, Eda was going through some of her mementos from her days in Grudgby...when Hooty decided to bring the one person she didn't want to see at the moment.

"Lilith."

"Edalyn."

"Hooty!"

"Scram, Hooty." Eda told her house demon as he went back into the door. As that happened, Lilith took notice of the jacket Eda was wearing.

"Why are you wearing that old uniform?" She asked.

"Well, I was looking through some of the old photos of my gory days, and it is the time of the season." Eda answered before changing the subject. "Well, you're obviously here for a reason, so just get on with it."

Sighing, Lilith pulled out a scroll and unraveled it as she cleared her throat and began to say "Edalyn Clawthorne, you are hereby under arrest by the order of the Emperor of the Boiling Isles—"

She didn't get a chance to finish as the scroll practically exploded in her hands when Eda whipped it with her Combat Cross.

"You were saying?" Eda said, holding the weapon in her hand.

"Come on! I have to bring you in. It's time for you to join the coven." Lilith pleaded. "The Emperor has big plans for the Isles, and he wants you to be a part of it all."

"The hell he does. Did anything I told you before even click?"

"This...brotherhood of yours. What could you possible have gained from that you couldn't have achieved from joining a coven?" Lilith asked, and Eda answered "Peace of mind, control of darkness and the ability to know what is true and what is false. In any case, Belos should know by now that there are greater situations he should try and deal with."

"Like the Belmont?" Lilith may be overstepping her bounds, mentioning Luz, knowing her sister would stay true to her word and tear her apart with the cross in her hand. "Aside from her, there has been a rise in lots of monster activity, like the ones we have faced before."

"I am aware." Eda interrupted. "Luz faces them on a daily basis."

" Not only that, but Belos had made an alliance with one I don't find most trustworthy. Some kind of new teacher at Hexside by the name of Desu."

" 'Oh wow. I wonder who that could really be.' " Eda thought to herself, knowing exactly who that. Luz knows him as Zobek, but she now him by his true nature.

"His form of magic is unprecedented and he's already won over Belos' trust with his demonstrations and intellect that, I confess, puts our troops to more shame than they already are." Lilith continued on. "I need your help, Eda. You're the only one who can help us to contain these threats, given your knowledge of them."

"And then what? I'd still be forced to submit to Belos' rule."

"It's the only way we'd be able to handle the threats together."

Eda held a glare on her face as she said "...That wouldn't sound so bad if Luz wasn't at the top of your list of threats."

"Edalyn, you have to understand-"

"No! It's one thing to force me into a corrupted system...but tempting me to murder a child is definitely where I draw the line!" Eda points her finger at Lilith's face. "I will not allow you to harm Luz."

"...And I cannot allow to interfere in our mission, Edalyn." Lilith said in a growl. "I still have to take you in. I can't go back to the Emperor empty-handed."

Sighing, Eda decides to take off her ring and hand it to Lilith.

"Tell him I put up a struggle."

Accepting the ring, Lilith decides its her time to leave as she says to Eda "I will be back for you. And next time, I won't be alone."

"Take your time, sister." Eda says to her. "Give the Emperor's Coven a deeper look, and you'll find all the answers you'll need."

And with that, Lilith left the Owl House as Eda gave out another heavy sigh.

Boscha waited for Willow and her friends to arrive as the practiced a little. Boscha hoped that she would chicken out, not that she was afraid, but it would make it that much easier for her get her game for real challenges. But that wasn't gonna happen since Willow arrived with both Luz and Amity in Grudgby gear. Her eye twitched to see one of her friends playing for them

"Didn't think you'd show." She said to both Luz and Willow, and then she turned to Amity. "And you...traitorous coward. You just destroyed your social life."

"I think I made it better." Amity said as she cracks her neck.

"You ready to lose?" Luz said, but that tattoo appeared at Boscha's eye again as she said "When this is over, I'm putting all of you in your place."

All the while, Boscha's team were looking at each other with deep concern.

"Bring it on!" Willow shouted.

And with that, the game starts. Boscha was gonna go for the ball the second it was in the air, but Willow managed to hold her against the ground with some vines as she catches the ball herself and makes her first goal. The game progresses. Amity uses a giant abomination arm to hold back an axe for Luz, who scores another goal. Gus creates illusion duplicates of himself to cheer Luz, Amity, and Willow on. Amelia scores a goal for the Banshees.

"Not bad." Luz says to her opponent and Amelia responds with a "Thanks."

"Don't compliment her! She's a criminal, for crying out loud!" Boscha growled, making Amelia a little afraid of her.

The game progresses further. Boscha throws a flaming grudgby ball at Luz, who blocks it with her whip infused with Light Magic. Then uses shadow magic to pass the ball to Amity, who knocks it into the goal with a giant abomination fist. The score is now tied 9-9 as both teams huddle up.

"There's time for one more play." Amity said as Willow added "And this play could determine whether us underdogs win or lose."

Luz said "I don't mean to brag but I'm sure we can win easily. Just look Boscha. She's blowing up at her team." And that, she was. Boscha was screaming at her teammates like an angry drill sergeant, belittling them for letting Willow's team gain the upper hand. Her rage just might be what they need as an advantage.

"There's a good chance she might go for the one who has the ball in hand, so leave her to mean."

"Okay." Willow agrees. "When given the chance, pass the ball to me and I'll end this."

"And I'll make sure that Boscha doesn't do anything nasty." Amity says. "Judging by her aura, she's planning on pulling something big."

"Because of the class you two are in?" Luz asked.

"Exactly."

"Get ready guys. Let's do this." Willow says the break and the play resumes. he two teams face off at centerfield once again. The ball is launched into the air, and Luz catches it. Boscha is coming her way and as her black tattoo flash and her eyes glow purple. Growling angrily, she realizes her Innocent Devil, a silver colored demon with sharp talons, scales and bright glowing crystals imbedded into it's chest. This was the final phase to a Demon-Type Innocent Devil's Evolution, The End. But not just End in particular. It's one that belonged to a true Devil Forgemaster from long ago.

"Abel." Luz said with widened eyes. "She really is turning into Isaac."

"Luz!" Amity said as she had no choice but to summon her own Innocent Devil. Just before Abel could attack Luz, a Golden Colored End came and countered before it could hit her.

"You have a End yourself?!" Boscha screamed to Amity before being tackled by Luz and passing the ball to Willow. Bringing up thorns from below the ground, Willow launches herself across the field and successfully scores a goal. The score was 10-9 and Willow's team had won...

"Yes!" She exclaimed. "We did it! And you know our deal, Boscha!"

"Oh, yeah? Well, I still caught-" Boscha was about to pull out something when she couldn't seem to find it on her person. "Where'd it go?"

"Looking for this?" Luz said as she held a golden insect. "I figured you were gonna cheat using this the moment I say it, so when I tackled, I snatched it before you could try something only a cheater would do."

The score changed to 999-9. Willow's team definitely won now, but Boscha was not happy about it.

"No, no, no, no NO!" She screamed as she began to show an aura of darkness, scaring her own team as she bared fanged teeth and glowing purple eyes at Willow's team. "No one's supposed to beat me!" She points to Willow. "You are nothing compared to me! You should've been evicted from this school YEARS AGO!" And then she points to Luz. "And you...you don't even belong here! You're from a family of killers who are better off extinct!"

"Boscha, that's enough." Amity said back to her. "You need to calm down before you lose yourself."

"You...don't even...get to talk!" Boscha yelled back. "Why side with pathetic fools such as them! You left your position! Your left your team! You left ME!" And as she said that, she suddenly kicked Amity back, stunning Luz and Willow as Boscha's uniform changed into her Devil Forging Uniform. In her hands was the Laser Blade Isaac used as she brought Abel to her side and took a stance in a threatening manor. Luz and Willow took a defensive stance while Gus watched, shocked by what was going on. But then, Amity was the one to strike first against Boscha as she once more summoned her End to fight against Abel while she fight Boscha. Both Devil Forging students with blades in hand hacked and slashed at each other before they clashed.

"You think you can stand up to me? You're fooling yourself!" Boscha said as she pushed Amity back and charged at her.

"Luz, shouldn't we help Amity out?" Gus said as he came down from the bleachers. But Luz answered "This is her fight, Gus. We can't interfere just yet."

Amity blocked Boscha's sword of pure energy as much as could before using her Innocent Devil counter the tri-clops' heavy attacks. "I grew up, Boscha! Matured from worrying about my public image to better myself as a living being. You stayed the same, brewing in vanity and wrath, and if anyone deserves to get kicked out of Hexside, it's you, tri-clops!"

Enraged, Boscha rushes fast, too fast for Amity to keep up as her guard is broken and Boscha manages to land a hit, stabbing her sword through Amity's leg.

"AAAHHH!"

"Amity!" Willow yelled, not wanting to just stand and watch anymore. She rushes in as Boscha raises her blade over Amity's head.

"You lost your edge Amity, while I sharpened mine! You were never strong enough to beat me, Blight!"

"...Not alone."

"Boscha!" The Tri-Clops turns her head to see Willow summoning ice spears and launching them at her. She quickly moves back in order to deflect the projectiles. Willow wraps vines around her wrists as she jumps and spins in an attempt to fight back. The Laser Sword cut away at the vines, but she was not prepared for the fireball Willow sends her way as she was blasted a few fight away.

"Boscha!" Amelia, Skara and Cat ran up to their corrupted captain. "You gotta stop! You're acting crazy!"

"Stay...OUT OF THIS!" She sends Abel their way and he nearly cuts them in half as the team falls to the floor and desperately tries to crawl away. "If you're not with me, then you're against me. And I will kill ANYONE who gets in my way!"

Seeing what she was about to do, Amity mustered up enough energy to rush in and tackle Boscha. The Laser Blade flies from her hand and in Amity's as she holds Boscha in the position she held her before.

"Enough of this!" She yelled, looking ready to strike the Tri-Clops down. But before that could happen, they heard...clapping. Everyone's attention turned to the Teacher of the Devil Forging Class, Desu, walking up to what has occurred.

"Praiseworthy Indeed." He said in his ever so low voice.

"Zobek!" Luz yelled as she brought out her whip, but Desu held up his hand.

"Restraint yourself, Belmont. While it is a pleasure to see the next to kin in the Family, I have no quarrel with you...yet."

"You know this guy, Luz?" Gus asked and Willow added "Who is he?"

The cloaked man answered "Azrail, Shinigami, Thanatos. I have been given many names over many life times. I was put in this dimensional plane to guide the souls of the departed to their next existence. But I found myself a higher calling then simply being the one who guides the dead...But as of now, I find myself the mentor to these children, who decide to rip each other apart to settle their differences...amuzing."

Realzing she was about to do what Boscha could've done to her, Amity backs off, deactivating the blade and gets off Boscha. Both students stand in attention of their teacher as their unsummon their Innocent Devils.

"Return, Abel!"

"Spectre, to me!"

As their demons return to them, Desu walks over and towers over them both. "You two show great potential in your abilities, but I cannot tolerate the misuse of your familiars." He turns to Boscha. "Miss Hieron, I will see through your punishment personally." Then he turns to Amity. "And you, Miss Blight, your punishment shall be carried out...immediately."

It was then that Amity screamed in pain and fell to the ground as the wound from Boscha's sword began bleed excessively.

"Amity!" Her friends call out to her as she groans in pain, looking down at her bleeding leg. Boscha was shocked for a moment. Did she really stab Amity at her own accord, or was it something inside of her that made her do it? She didn't have time to think about it as Desu grabbed her by the hair and dragged her away.

"I recommend your get her to infirmary soon before the wound gets infected." Desu said casually.

Picking up Amity, Luz glared at cloaked man as she said "This will not stand, Zobek."

Desu turned to her once more and replied "Do not fret, young Belmont. Your time will come soon enough."

As he walked off, Willow asked Luz "What does he mean by that?"

"Nothing good." Luz replied. "But I'm not afraid. As far as I know...my family have cheated death for years."

"Hey." The three turned to see Boscha's team still around. "We're really sorry about how Boscha acted. She's been acting crazy."

"It's not her. It's something inside her, and I believe it's not the last we see of it..."
