"Thank you, but I can't take all the credit for tonight's cooking. Both Asia and Koneko helped out tonight with the prep work." Daniel smiled as he nodded his head over towards the two girls he had mentioned.
"And he's modest two. Tie him down as quick as possible Serafall, before any other woman goes after him." Lady Sitri once more teased her eldest daughter.
'Sera definitely takes after her mother.' Daniel chuckled to himself as he looks at his blushing girlfriend.
"Stop enjoying this." Sera pinched Daniel's arm as she hissed out at him. Rubbing his arm he looked down and seen her light glare directed at him.
"Nope." Daniel replied back with a pop. "I rarely get to see you this flustered. So I'm gonna be enjoying every moment of this."
"Then it's a good thing I brought Sera's baby photos!" Lady Sitri exclaimed out in joy as she watched the reactions of Daniel's joy and Sera's horror.
"I've also brought Sona's as well." Lady Sitri finished as Sona also paled.
'This is gonna be a fun night haha.' Daniel mentally chuckled as the two sisters blushed heavily.
The Born Again Fate of DxD - Chapter 10: Final Countdown.
(Day 10 Thursday 17th May - Morning)
Since this was the last day of training, as well as the day of the Rating Game. Daniel informed Issei that he wouldn't have to do his morning run and decided to treat himself with a rare morning lie in with Sera.
As the two laid in the bed, Daniel's left arm was was holding on Sera's stomach while Sera rested her head against his right. As the morning light broke through a small gap in the window's curtain, it hit against Sera face, slowly causing her to wake up.
As she slowly opened her eyes, she was meet with another pair of pink eyes staring right back at her. It was her mother, armed with a camera. "You two look so adorable sleeping together."
"M!" Sera attempted to shout out but was cut short as Lady Sitri placed a finger over her eldest daughter's mouth.
"Shh. We don't want to wake Dan now do we?" Lady Sitri stated with a smile on her face.
"Since you're both having a lie on this morning, I wanted to wake you up to tell you me and Sona are heading away now to get things ready for tonight." Lady Sitri informed Sera as she stood up and closed the blinds tighter.
As she left the room Sera could see the side of her face as Lady Sitri slowly closed the door. "And don't forget, I want some grandbabies to spoil. I can't let Vene-chan get too far ahead of me can I?"
With her mother's final words, Sera blushed up a storm. 'Babies!' But Sera's thoughts were cut short when Daniel tightened his grip on her stomach. 'He's still out cold.'
As she thought about how to wake him up, she grinned as her mother's last words echoed in her mind. 'I know how to wake him up.'
(Lunch)
For the last day of training, Daniel decided on a single training session with both Kiba and Issei.
Standing in front of both of them with Kanshou and Bakuya in his hands, Daniel pointed Kanshou at the two boys. "Working together, I want you both to attack me."
The two boys silently nodded and readied themselves. Issei was the first to rush at Daniel as he blocked Kanshou with his gauntlet. Kiba then appeared behind Daniel but was blocked with Bakuya.
'So Issei is taking point while Kiba works off counters.' Daniel thought to himself as he held off the two boys. 'Time to pick things up a gear then.'
"Reinforce." Daniel called out as he felt his mana flow through his body. Quickly overpowering Issei, he pushed the boy away before pulling back on Kiba. With Kiba's momentum moving him forward. Daniel pivoted around him, kicking him from behind and sending him crashing into Issei.
"BOOST!" Issei's sacred gear roared out as Daniel changed his grip on the twin blades to a reverse grip.
"Come on! Do you wanna win or not! Get serious here!" Daniel taunted both boys as they got up to their feet.
But it was Kiba who attacked first time time around and he created a second Holy Eraser. "Let's dance kid!" Daniel taunted once more as he and Kiba smirked at one another.
As the two fought one another at blinding speeds their swords clanged, clinked and clashed against one another. Sparks flying around them, both keeping their eyes on one another. Daniel even noticed that KIba was even starting to fight a bit dirty, often kicking out at his legs to keep him off balanced.
As the four swords pushed against one another, Daniel was expecting a counter from Issei, just like Kiba had done when he had deadlocked earlier. But no counter came, so he kept his focus solely on Kiba in front of him.
"Not bad kid. You've gotten a lot better in the short time here." Daniel complimented Kiba as he pushed him away. "You'll do yourself proud during the Rating Game."
'However where the hell is Issei?' Daniel asked himself as he looked around, only to find Issei standing still watching him and Kiba.
"What are you doing?" Daniel asked as Kiba also turned to face Issei.
"I'm charging up my Sacred Gear." Issei answered which caused Daniel to get angry.
"You can't just stand still and boost kid!" Daniel roared at Issei. "You're about to take part in a Rating Game. And you'll be a sitting target if you do the same thing during it."
"Then I'll move during it." Issei responded but it was the worst answer he could've given.
"This spar isn't a fucking game Issei!" Daniel shouted out using Issei's name for the first time. 'I'm gonna have to trigger this kid to get him to act more seriously.'
"Get fucking serious right now or I will." Daniel stated out as he dispelled both Kanshou and Bakuya from his hands.
"What do you mean?" Issei asked as he tightened his fist.
"If you don't stop messing around, I'll beat you into the ground and kill Rias and Asia in front of you." Daniel replied as he narrowed his eyes at Issei. "And don't think I'm lying either, I'll do it."
Issei's eyes widened as he roared out in anger. 'Looks like I found his trigger.' Daniel thought to himself but what happened next scared him.
"BOOST BOOST BOOST BOOST BOOST BOOST BOOST BOOST BOOST BOOST BOOST BOOST!" The gauntlet roared out as Issei yelled out in sync with his sacred gear.
'Oh shit. I think went too far on that one.' Daniel thought to himself as he felt Issei's dramatic increase in power.
Creating a ball of energy from the his open left palm, Issei closed his fist over it and threw a punch at Daniel. "DRAGON SHOT EXPLOSION!" From his fist a larger ball of energy flew out towards Daniel.
"Rho Aias!" Quickly bringing up his hand, Daniel created the plasma shield to block Issei's attack. It was barely holding out as the shield's petals were slowly withered away. 'I don't think this is gonna hold out longer.'
"I am, the Bone of my Sword." Daniel called out to increase Rho Aias' power just in time as Issei's attack faded. All that was left of Rho Aias was the shield's core. The seven petals had been destroyed from Issei's over charged attack.
Falling down to a knee, Daniel started coughing violently. He wasn't able to move his right arm, his Lungs felt as if they were on fire and the sclera of his eyes were now bloodshot red and no longer white. This entire body was in agony. "Fuck... That... Hurt." Daniel groaned out in English as Issei and Kiba rushed over to him.
"Good job Kid... Didn't think... You'd take me... Seriously." Daniel weakly stated out before he weakly chuckled. "That attack of yours... Nearly killed me."
They both offered to help him stand up again but Daniel waved them away. They both then noticed a glow coming from Daniel's left shoulder. Once the glow faded, Daniel's breathing was no longer as heavy as he stood up from his own power. "I'll be fine, let's call it a day though." Daniel stated as he and the two boys started to move back to the Gremory Holiday home. 'I'm definitely gonna need Asia's help just in case the Rune missed anything.'
(Evening - 9:00pm)
When Daniel and the other first arrived back in Kouh, they had arrived back in the school. Unfortunately he hadn't left his car in the school and had to walk back to his home in the other end of Kouh. As he walked closer to his front door, he noticed someone was leaning against it, looking it back at him.
The person was wearing modern clothes, Blue jeans and a white hoodie cover their face. "I was wondering when you might arrive back." The voice was obliviously that of a woman, Daniel wasn't able to get a good look at her face. "It's quite rude to keep a lady waiting."
"Sorry but, I was out of town the last couple of days." Daniel replied as he lowered his backpack onto the ground.
"Oh I know... I was told to observe you in this town." The woman stated as she slowly began walking over towards Daniel. "To see if you were a treat to us. If you would betray her trust."
"Who's trust?" Daniel asked as he readied his mana.
"Oh just Mor's. Her trust." The woman replied as Daniel finally got a good look at her face.
In short she was beautiful, not as much as Sera was in his eyes, but he couldn't deny what he saw. at the top of her face he could see that her hair was auburn and that her eyes were light blue. Covering most of her left cheek there a scar that ran diagonally from the side of her nose down to her jaw, continuing down her neck. It didn't take away from her beauty in the slightest. She was taller than Sera, but only four inches at most.
Daniel couldn't help but get the feeling he'd seen this woman before. but he couldn't remember where or when. The woman caught Daniel's gaze and smirked back in response. "She something you like little boy?" She asked with a sultry tone in her voice.
She moved to place her hand over his face but Daniel caught her hand before she had done so. "I don't think my girlfriend would be very happy if another woman touched my face."
Daniel's reply didn't seem to disturb her, as she only continue'd smirking at him. "So what does the Morrigan want with me? It was my understanding that if I told her were Claíomh Solais was resting I would've been left alone."
"Oh, but your lover was worried about you so much." The woman pouted
"She's not my lover." Daniel growled at the woman but his response only caused the woman to chuckle. "Like I'd go anywhere near that fucking sociopath."
"You're very brave in saying that." The woman stated as she laughed lightly.
"Well unless the Morrigan has recently gained a fourth personality, I'd say I'm pretty safe in saying that to you." Daniel responded with a shrug but kept his composure.
"Oh, little lover boy... What make you think I'm not the Morrigan?" The woman replied with a grin.
"Because I've meet all three of her personalities." Daniel instantly replied, the woman in response only widened her grin. "However, I can't ignore the feeling that I've also meet you before."
For the first time the woman's face turned sour. "No, you haven't."
Her face scowled as he moved closer to Daniel, attempting to get right and up into his face. "You look nothing like Sétanta, you're not blond, you're taller than him, you're much older than what he was, you don't have his scars and you barely even have even a glimpse of his charm."
"Sétanta? So you think I'm Cú Chulainn as well, the same as her?" Daniel asked in annoyance as he scowled back.
"No... You're nothing like him. The only aspect you share is that you're both stupid little boys." The woman narrowed her eyes at Daniel before she began walking away.
Her words though struck a cord with Daniel. He remembered where he'd seen her. It was from the memories he received when he first interacted with Gáe Bolg, from Cú Chulainn's memories, and even her own. "Scáthach."
Daniel's shocked voice stopped the woman in her tracks. "You're Scáthach, Cú's master. That's how I know you."
"Níl aithne agat ormsa. (You don't know me.)" The woman snarled as she summoned her faithful spear, Gáe Bolg into her hands.
Pointing it at Daniel in the process. "Níl a fhios agat aon rud mar gheall ormsa. (You know nothing about me.)"
"Trace on." Creating his own fake Gáe Bolg, the woman's eyes widened as she looked down at her own weapon. "My magic allows me to create weapons, but when I do, I also view it's history. How it was made, who wielded it, how many and who it's killed. Wither you like it or not, I do know you."
Scáthach continue'd scowling as she walked over to Daniel, squaring up at him once more. Before he could react, she pulled him down and roughly kissed him.
She she broke the kiss, she smirked at Daniel's stunned reaction. "Then I'll be seeing you around little lover boy." Scáthach waved as she walked away from the stunned Daniel, swaying her hips and twirling her spear as she done so.
'If Sera finds out about this she'll kill me.' Daniel thought to himself as he attempted to forget he was kissed a woman who was over 2000 years older than he was. He needed to get ready to support Rias for tonight's Rating game.
(Evening - 11:30pm)
It was 11:30pm when Daniel arrived in the ORC room. He was back wearing the same clothes he normally wore as a Teacher as he noticed that he wasn't the first to arrive as Rias and Akeno were both there.
Taking one look at both of them, Daniel knew that that they were so caught up in their own thoughts, they hadn't even noticed he had arrived. Moving out to the Kitchen in the backroom, Daniel made two cups of green tea for them.
Placing the cups in front of both girls, he shook them to get their attention. "Here, drink this."
The two girls looked shocked as they took slow sips. "Why green tea?" Rias asked in confusion.
"Green Tea has an amino acid called L-theanine, which has some anti-anxiety effects. It'll help keep you focused and calm you down a bit. It might only be by a little but it'll help." Daniel informed both girls who both nodded back in appreciation.
In the next ten minutes the other members of Rias' peerage arrived. Kiba and Koneko arrived together as did Issei and Asia shortly after.
The only one who wasn't in their school uniform was Asia who was wearing her old clothes when she was still a Nun. "Can you tell us a story Sensei?" Rias asked.
Daniel wasn't expecting this but smiled nonetheless. "Well since this is the Occult Research Club, I should tell you all a story about a Myth and Legend of old. However I won't tell you all an old Irish fable as most end in sour tones."
"So how about the the origin of the four treasures of the Tuatha Dé Danann, the first treasures of Inis Fáil later known as Ireland." Daniel stated out as he began the story.
"In the vast void before time the Earth was formed. And from the Earth sprang a single tree, the mighty Oak watered by the river of Heaven. From the Oak fell a single Acorn which created the first of the Gods. The Dagda, God of Fertility, Agriculture, Manliness, Strength, Magic, Druidry and Wisdom."
"And from the Dagda came his daughter Brigid, goddess of Spring, Healing, Poetry and Smithcraft. When Christianity took over Ireland she was later converted into a Saint to help the spread of Christianity throughout the island."
"Over time the Gods and other children of the Dagda built four great cities on the banks of the sacred river. To the North was Falias, in the East was Goirias, to the south Findias and out in the West Muirias."
"And in each of the cites that was created a single treasure. Falias created the Lia Fáil, the Stone of Destiny that would cry out under the King who stood on top of it, signalling his sovereignty."
"Trace on." Daniel lifted his left hand as as Red and Golden Spear was formed. "In Goirias they created a Spear for their Warrior King Lugh, God of Oaths, Truth, Law and the Sun." Daniel began to twirl the spear in his hand as he continued. "The Spear was named after him. The Spear of Lugh, once thrown it will never miss it's target no matter how far away his target was."
As the spear faded from his hands, a beautiful sword of light formed in it's place. "Goirias had created a sword called Claíomh Solais. Known as the Sword of Light, it has never lost a battle in which it fought in. A sword which was not owned by a single man, but by the city itself, to defend it's people when called upon."
Allowing the sword to vanish, the room darkened as Daniel continue'd. "And finally in Muirias they crafted the Coire of the Dagda. A Cauldron from which if you eat it's contents, you could never leave from it unsatisfied. It was said to be so plentiful that it could feed all four Great cities twice over and still not be empty."
"It's from here on the Myth splits into different paths and stories, you can thank the early Christians for that. Some say that the Dagda told his children and other Gods that they must leave for a new home. Other state that these cities where built on Ireland itself and each city was the origin of Ireland's four provinces, Ulster, Leinster, Munster and Connaught built on the River Shannon."
"And unless the Celtic Gods state otherwise we'll never know." Daniel stated as he finished his tale.
"What happened to the treasures though?" Akeno asked.
"Well the Lia Fáil sits on top of the Hill of Tara in County Meath. The Spear of Lugh remains by his side. Claíomh Solais is with that Goddess however, the Coire of the Dagda was lost to time." Daniel exclaimed to Akeno.
As Daniel had finished Sona and her queen Tsubaki entered the room "Sorry if I'm interrupting." Sona stated out
"No, please come on in Sona." Rias replied as she stood up to greet her friend/rival.
"I'm glad you could both make it." Akeno also stated with a genuine smile.
"Wow, I didn't expect you two to be here after meeting Kaichou yesterday. What gives?" Issei innocently asked.
"There's a live broadcast of the match being organised by the Sitri family so other families can watch." Rias explained to Issei. "Sona and Tsubaki are here to help out with that."
'I think Sera mentioned something about that this morning.' Daniel thought to himself.
"And besides, it's Rias' first rating game. I wouldn't miss an event like this for anything." Sona stated out with a smile as she received a thankful nod back from Rias.
"Well, I promise to do everything within my power to make it interesting for you." Rias replied back with a smile of her own.
Once Rias had finished a formula seal appeared within the room. When the glow from the magic circle faded Grayfia was standing in it's place. "Is everyone ready?" Grayfia asked "It's almost time for the match to begin Rias-ojousama."
"Yes, we're ready when you are." Rias replied as she moved towards Grayfia.
Keeping her neutral face, Grayfia continued. "In a moment we'll use this magic circle to transport you and the rest of your peerage to the battlefield."
"Where exactly is the battlefield?" Issei asked in curiosity.
"It's in an alternate area in time and space that was created just for the game." Akeno explained before she began blushing and held onto her face. "And because it's not real, we can really do some damage, even burn it to the ground if we wanted to."
Daniel sweat dropped at Akeno's antics. 'She really needs to learn how to control herself. But if I was taking part in this I could easily carpet bomb the entire battlefield.'
"I'll be in the Student Council room helping watching the broadcast of the game." Sona stated to Rias. "We'll be cheering you on."
"Would it be okay if I joined you both?" Daniel asked as Sona thought about her replay for a breif moment.
"We'll be more than happy to accommodate you as well Sensei." Sona replied back with a brief smile before turning back to face Rias. "Good luck."
"Thank you." Rias replied. "And I hope you'll be able to keep everything fair during the game."
"Oh, I'll keep it clean" Sona replied as she stood by the door to the ORC room. "Though if I were a betting girl, I'd say you're gonna beat that scumbag seven way from Sunday."
As Sona was about to leave she turned to face Daniel. "I'll join you there once they've left for the game. I'd like to see them off." Daniel replied which Sona accepted with a nod and left the ORC room.
"Before we begin there's something I forgot to tell you." Grayfia stated to Rias getting everyone's attention. "I thought you'd like to know that Lucifur-sama will be watching the game."
"I'd be shocked if he wasn't." Daniel drily stated with earned a chuckle from the three longest serving members of Rias' peerage.
"I agree. Though I sometimes wish my brother can act like someone else at times." Rias sighed as she stated out after Daniel.
"Whoa, are telling me your older brother is THE Devil!? Or am I hearing things wrong?" Issei asked out in shock.
"Yes." Rias confirmed Issei's question straight away.
"And you know him!?" Issei asked again, pointing a finger at Daniel.
"I've meet him once yes." Daniel replied as he cross him arms in front of his chest. "And I know what you're thinking. Isn't Rias' last name Gremory? Well it was, but her older brother has the title of Lucifer. The same way Sona's older sister Sera has the title of Leviathan."
Kiba then turned and explained more to Issei. "In the previous Great War, the previous Devils Lords were left in a critical condition and has passed away a long time ago. But the Great War only lead into the Devil Civil War, were it was decided that the Devils keep the names of the previous Devil Lords as Titles and let it be inherited to the ones with enormous powers."
"So the current Four Great Satans are the Ultimate-class Devils that are the successors of the first generation of Devil Lords that have inherited their names." Kiba explained. "So the Title of Lucifer, Beelzebub, Leviathan and Asmodeus aren't personal names but more like a managerial position."
"To tell you the truth, out of the three factions of the God, the Fallen Angels and the Devils, the Devils have the least power. We are actually in a tight spot but we are still safe because the Four Great Satans has a power equal to the previous Satans."
"So Buchou's brother was chosen to be a Satan from the Ultimate-class Devils then?" Issei asked to which Kiba silently nodded back.
"Kid, Lucifer is known as one of the ten strongest beings alive, along with whoever owns the Beelzebub title." Daniel stated out which confused Issei.
"Who'd you know?" Issei asked.
"I already told you I was raised and trained by Nuns in the hope I'd end up being an exorcist." Daniel groaned out in annoyance.
"But in saying that they also mentioned something about him being Satan Red or something. Never paid much attention to it so I don't know." Daniel missed Grayfia's slight flinch as he shrugged. "Sounded like some weird Power Ranger or Super Sentai shit so I honestly stopped listening. Never asked Sera about, now that I think about it."
"Everyone please enter the Transportation circle." Grayfia called out to Rias and her Peerage.
As they walked onto the magic circle, Daniel gave out one last word of encouragement. "Knock'em dead kids!"
In a flash of light he was the only one who remained within the room. 'Now to see if I've interfered enough and they win first time around.'
(Student council Room)
When Daniel arrived he had seen that there was a floating screen in front of both Sona and Tsubaki. "I take there was no last minute nerves?" Sona asked.
"A few silent one but could you expect there not to be any?" Daniel replied with his own question, to which Sona smirked.
"The Rating Game won't begin for another 15 minutes, so do you fancy a game of chess while we wait Sensei?" Sona asked with a smirk.
"Oh no. I aint planning on getting married to you Sona." Daniel's statement would've caught her off guard but her mind was much more sharper today.
"So Onee-sama told you about my rule if I lose." Sona smirked at Daniel as she placed a chees board in front of her. "I don't plan on losing though."
'She must really want a game.' Daniel thought to himself as he sat down and started playing. "I was more of a Draughts player as a kid so I'm not expecting to win but fuck it." Daniel stated out as he made the first move.
They played in utter silence and finished with Sona winning in less than 5 minutes. "So it appears I have the better mind." Sona stated out as her Knight captured Daniel's King.
"For this game yes, but not for combat." Daniel replied as he leaned back on his chair.
"What do you mean? I had the better strategy?" Sona asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I aint denying that. You won this game but, if it was actual combat you would've lost." Daniel countered.
"Because you would create a weapon to be used against our weakness?" Sona asked.
"Correct. The question that would be asked if I fought against your peerage would be if you could survive and counter me." Daniel agreed. "Rias' issue is a lot different, it's more of a question of Quality over Quantity."
Daniel then began to place down chess pieces on the board. "Riser seems to have a full set of 16, while Rias only has the 6 pieces on her side." Daniel stated out as he picked up the pawn and knight on Rias' side. "I'd wager that Issei and Kiba are going to be the key factors for her victory. Over the last 10 days I spent the most time training them. Issei's improved so much in that short time."
"How much?" Sona asked as she moved to face the floating screen.
"Hopefully enough." Daniel replied as he done the same.
"Hello everyone. I am Grayfia, a maid from the House of Gremory and today I will be the arbiter of the Rating game between Rias Gremory of the House of Gremory and Riser Phenex the House of Phenex." Grayfia's voice called out from the screen as the Rating game was about to begin.

This chapter's Q&A!
1) If he has the Excalibur with him, won't there be a possibility of Avalon being present too? It is possible but it'll only be a copy of Avalon and not the real thing. So he wouldn't be able to heal to same way that Shirou could. He would only be able to use it as a Barrier.
2) Do you know to which race or bloodline are you going to change the MC into? Yes. Can't tell you want yet but I already have it plan and the start of it written down.
3 a) I wonder since Sera has lived for over 500 years. What did she do in those times? Multiple things most of the major events in the 20th century she was involved in.
b) Did she go to a punk rock show in the 1970's or see AC/DC back then? Yes, she was in Woodstock. And she did see AC/DC.
c) Also why is Sera overtly affectionate towards Sona? The Devil Civil War took a toll on Sera and because of this she is overly protective of Sona, much like Sirzechs is with Rias.
d) Will Daniel's battle be during the Rias vs Riser rating game? Nope, sorry.
4) Is Daniel going to become an Einherjar when he dies? Sorry but I can't answer. As either Yes or No will be a spoiler.
5) Is it possible for Daniel to trace and Project Sacred Gears. Like copy the base Gauntlets and not the Balance Breaker? It is possible yes, but they would not have any power behind them. They would just be a Gauntlet.
6) I wonder if it's possible for Daniel's body to become swords as shown by the fact when Shirou in Heaven's Feel had his body destroyed? This is gonna be a longer answer to explain my answer to give for this one so strap in lol.
So we have Four versions of Shirou who have power from the anime. Three timelines of Fate/Stay Night and Fate/Kaleid Oath Under Snow. In two of these stories, Shirou's body reacts in such a negative way but only in Heavens Feel does his body become an actual sword. Daniel however is a mixture of the Miyuverse Oath Under Snow Shirou and the Unlimited Blade Works Shirou. These just so happen to be the only two you unlocked Unlimited Blade Works won their own and without influence.
Now what I mean by that is Daniel had trained for years to use his powers. It wasn't shown but I have heavily implemented it within the story, even showing his training room under him home which he uses daily. Much like Oath Under snow where Shirou had trained to fight in the upcoming Holy Grail War.
And like Unlimited Blade Works, Daniel has a high amount of Mana available to him much like Shirou had when facing off against Gilgamesh during the Shows final stages. Only it's his own power he is relying on instead of borrowing power like Shirou did with Rin.
So while it is possible that this could happen, Daniel had trained himself that if he does feel his body strain too much, he will stop himself.
7) Will Kuroka become a part of Cole's harem? Sorry but not this time. The four women will be as follows with stats:
