Wednesday night, Fenton Works…

(April 28th, 2004 - 02:15 AM)

Danny was lying on his bed, just staring at the ceiling. Only a few hours ago, after he and his ghost friend/mentor Ember had scared the shit out of her evil stepmom, he had kissed her. It was no ordinary kiss you give to a crush, no. For Danny, this kiss with Ember meant a lot more than that.

Though he felt great about it, he also felt guilty, as this romantic move of his had made Ember to freak out about it, or something like that. All that Ember wanted was to go back home to her attic in Sam's place.

Danny wanted to go after her, saying he was sorry. But when he neared her, he sensed that Ember called out to him in his mind not to come near her. Danny felt guilty after that. He never meant to make Ember feel bad about the kiss they shared.

Feeling tired of keep thinking about it, made Danny to close his eyes and finally felt asleep.

Danny was then starting to dream of the moment that had changed his life forever: The day that he'd received his ghost powers.

"Smile!" Sam called as she holds up an instant camera and takes a picture of Danny holding up a white suit, standing close to the deactivated Ghost-Portal.

Danny wipes his eyes as the flash was too bright for his eyes. He sighed while his eyes were halfway open "Okay. I showed you guys the Portal, can we get out of here now? My parents could be back here any minute."

Danny's friends, Tucker and Sam walked up to him, while Sam took a glance at the deactivated Portal and took another picture of it "Come on, Danny. A Ghost Zone? Aren't you curious? You gotta check it out."

Danny raised an eyebrow "Why? It doesn't work anyway. My parents tried it out this morning and all it gave was a little spark. Honestly, I'm starting to see their whole research on ghosts a complete waste of time, just like how Jazz sees it."

Sam was a bit disappointed that Danny doesn't want to check out the Portal, she still wanted to take another picture of Danny in the white jumpsuit "Alright, forget about it. I just want to take one more picture with you in the suit."

Danny gave a smile while he shrug "Okay, one more picture, but that's it." he said as he puts on the jumpsuit, which has an image of Jack Fenton's face on the chest.

"Hang on…," Sam walked up to Danny and rips of the image of Jack from his suit "You can't go walking around with that on your chest." She stated while pointing to the image she holds.

Danny chuckled "I guess you're right. Where do you want me to stand?" he asked.

Sam pointed to the Portal "Just there, at the Portal."

Tucker then walked away and said before going upstairs "Well, while you two are taking some shots for 'Ghost-Magazine', I'll be upstairs, taking some soda."

Sam rolled her eyes at Tucker, while Danny asked her "How do you want me to stand? Like Superman?" he then posed as a Superhero.

That Danny made that kind of a pose made her to giggle "Hihihihi. No. Why don't you just pose as… yourself?"

"As myself?" Danny asked, but after a quick second thought "Okay, just normal regular Danny Fenton." He then leaned against the side of the Ghost Portal while crossing his arms and giving a small smile.

Sam gave a nod and was ready to take another picture with her instant camera. But as she clicked on the button it jammed. Sam tried a few more times, but still nothing "Oh, darn it! The batteries are out." she said while taking out the batteries from her camera and walks up the stairs "I have some in my bag upstairs."

Danny narrowed his eyes while looking into the Portal. He tapped with his foot, feeling a bit bored from just leaning to the wall. He looked at the stairs, then back at the Portal. Danny then smiled, as he was curious what things might be behind the Ghost-Portal "Nah, what the heck. A little peeking won't hurt. And who knows what kind of awesome, super-cool things exist on the other side of that Portal?"

Danny steps into the Ghost-Portal slowly with a bit of fear as the greenish light from inside the Portal changed the lighting of his suit. But as he walked further in while looking behind him, he absently touches his hand to a console with a green button that says 'ON'!

A large green light engulfs the Portal, zapping Danny with enormous amounts of energy! Danny screams in terrible pain "AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

But something else came out of the portal as well. A girl, surrounded by a blueish energy twists around the portal while screaming "AAAAAAAAAAH!"

While Danny still screamed in agonizing pain, colors of his suit into a black suit with white accents, his hair changed into white instead of his usual black and his blue eyes turned green! The blueish girl then twists around Danny, hitting him several times. His DNA, now infected with both ghost DNA and white-blue sparkled energy from the blueish girl!

Danny fell unconscious on the floor, while close to him, the blueish energy slowly descended down on the floor.

The girl started to take back her old shape, wearing a rock-goth outfit and skull boots. The blueish energy flamed up a bit, turning into robin's egg blue and took the form of her hair in a ponytail. Her skin, turning pale.

The girl rubbed her head, while trying to stand up "Ugh…! What happened?" when she opened her eyes, she was shocked where she was "Wha-!? Where am I?" She then looked back, seeing the Portal closing by itself "No!" She flew at it, but it was too late. She banged on the ceiled doors "No! No! No! Fuck, no!"

Then she heard someone groaning. She looked at her right and saw Danny, now with white hair and a black-white jumpsuit. The ghost girl gasped in shock and was about to fly away. But as she reached the ceiling… she stopped. She began to feel somehow… worried for this boy, lying unconscious on the floor. The girl slowly turned herself and flew back to him. She sat down on her knees, while slowly turning Danny to his back.

She rubbed his head, while Danny slowly opened his eyes, seeing a pale girl with robin egg blue hair and green eyes. She asked concerned "Hey, are you okay?"

Danny remembered this moment. This was when he saw Ember the first time. But this time it was different. He didn't heard Sam coming down the stairs, which made Ember to leave in a hurry. No, this was the moment that Danny wished how he'd met Ember.

Slowly, Danny sat straight while rubbing his head "Uhh… yeah, I'm okay."

When his vision became better, he started to look into her eyes. Both just stared at each other for some time, while Ember looked away while blushing.

Danny softly stroke her cheek, making her to look back at him. They moved their faces close together. Until… their lips connected. Ember's hair flared up as their kiss became more passionate.

But suddenly, their surroundings changed, like when Danny and Ember kissed for the first time on top of the same building the night before. Ember broke the kiss, staring at Danny while tears fell from her eyes "I'm sorry…!" was all she could say before flying away.

"Ember! Wait! Come back!" Danny tried to fly after her, but suddenly, he couldn't fly anymore and fell down into the streets below! "AAAAAAAA-!"

Danny woke up instantly with a start "-AAAAAH!" while he panted, he looked around with wide eyes. He was back again in his room. Danny sighed in relief.

He then noticed the first rays of sunlight were coming from the horizon. He figured it was morning. Danny then looked at himself, seeing that he was still wearing his rock outfit "I must have forgotten to take these clothes off." he then took off his skull bandana while looking at his alarm clock. It reads: 6:28 AM.

While Danny took his time to shower and dress into a similar rock outfit while putting the one he'd slept in in the wash basket, he couldn't stop thinking about Ember and the kiss they shared. He still felt the same like last night.

As he was about to go downstairs, his sister Jazz came up while taking an empty plastic basket, deciding to do the laundry. She looked surprised to see her little brother up this early "Morning, Danny. You're up early." She said with a smile.

Danny just walked passed her while looking down, saying "Morning, Jazz…"

Jazz looked confused, seeing Danny like this. She shrugged and went into the bathroom, taking all the dirty clothes.

After some time, when Jazz had finished all the laundry, she walked into the kitchen wanting to take some breakfast too. But when she entered, she saw Danny sitting at the table with a plate full of food, but hadn't taken a single bite, as he was looking glum and sighed.

Jazz had never seen her brother down like this before.

Jazz took a chair and sat next to Danny, and asked "Are you okay?"

Danny wasn't sure if he wanted to talk about his problems to Jazz and just made an excuse while taking a bite from his food "I'm fine, Jazz."

Jazz however wasn't convinced "You're sure? You looked down just now and the time before that too."

Danny sighed annoyed "I'm fine, Jazz! I just have things on my mind. That's all."

Though he and Jazz were once very close when they were younger, Jazz had become to Danny snobbish, bossy, annoying, overprotective and too mature and smart for her own good, that he could no longer talk with Jazz no matter how much she tries to bond with him.

Seeing no way that Danny was in a good mood to talk to her right now, Jazz gave up and stood up from her chair and told softly before she left "Danny, I know you and I don't get along that much anymore, but you don't have to shut me out. If there is anything you want to talk about… I'm here for you little brother." She then turned herself and was about to leave the kitchen.

That was when Danny somehow felt that his sister might be the only one that could understand his problem. He called her back "Jazz…! Wait," Jazz turned herself and looked at Danny "There is… something I need to get off my chest. And I hoped that maybe… you could help me to understand?"

Jazz fromeda smile at Danny and sat back at her chair next to him "Alright, tell me what's on your mind?" but before Danny could tell, Jazz interrupted him "Wait, let me guess! It's Emily, isn't it?"

Danny narrowed his eyes first, but then looked down "Yes… it's Emily."

Jazz gave a proudly smile, knowing all along that her little brother did have a crush on Emily (Ember). But seeing how sad he looked, the look of regret, she asked concerned "Then… what's wrong, Danny?"

He sighed deep while scratching the back of his head "I don't know, Jazz. I feel that… I may have… done something wrong, I think."

Being there for her brother, Jazz asked with concern "Something wrong? What happened then? Is this about the argument that I heard Emily had with you and Sam and Tucker yesterday at school?"

Danny didn't wanted to tell the whole thing and said reluctantly "No… well, yes! Well… I guess, I…" seeing Jazz raised an eyebrow, Danny tried to explain it in a different way "Well… this is how it happened…"

Danny then told what had happened yesterday, with a different version than about Ember's troubling past and letting go of all that pain from her evil stepmom. Danny told that Emily was upset about some issues she felt at home with her parents and felt that nobody could ever understand her. Danny told how he and his friends made it up to Emily and apologized for not listening to her earlier and wanted to let her know that she now has her friends to comfort and support her. Then Danny told that he stayed with Emily some time longer, that she was feeling deeply appreciated that he would do this for her to make her feel better. And that in the end… they kissed.

Jazz formed a big smile on her face when she heard that from her brother "I knew it! I knew you liked Emily!" but then she became confused "But, then why are you feeling so much regret?"

Danny sighed deep "I don't know Jazz. After we kissed… she…" he glanced at her, clearly waiting for him to tell what had happened "She was feeling sad about it and said she shouldn't have done that. Well… maybe I shouldn't have done that. I mean, yeah… I do like Emily… a lot! But she… well, I… I feel that after I kissed her that I made a stupid mistake that now I have destroyed my friendship with her and is feeling hurt that I did something like that!" Danny's frustration nearly got the best of him, feeling that he truly had hurt Ember, what he never wanted to do. He then looked down sadly at his food again.

Jazz then figured what was causing it and started to say her sister's advice "Danny, let me tell you something when it comes to 'girl emotions'," Danny looked at Jazz while explaining "You see, the difference between boys and girls is that boys have it much harder to talk about what they're feeling, while girls can actually talk about this much easier. Being more with their emotions, you might say. Men are more in search for the solution of the problem of the women, while women don't want a solution, they want to be listened. They want to express their emotions and receive attention, recognition, empathy and understanding for it."

Normally, Danny would ignore all those talks from Jazz. But this time, Danny was listening closely to what Jazz explained to him.

"For example, when a women feels sad, men mostly walk out of the conversations, what makes the women even more sad, in which case they ask for more attention, recognition and so on."

"I… think I understand that part, Jazz," Danny said "But how is that even going to help me with Emily?"

Jazz gave Danny an ensuring smile while placing her hand on his shoulder "Danny, what I'm trying to say is that girl emotions are far more complex then boys. Trust me, when Emily comes here sometimes, I've seen how much she adores you and how you adore her. Maybe she too has feelings for you, but because she had to deal with so many emotions last night is probably the reason she was feeling like how you described? Just tell her how you feel. And who knows? Maybe you get the same thing in return?"

Danny formed a little smile, seeing it clear now "Maybe you're right. Thanks Jazz."

Jazz stood up from her chair while patting Danny's shoulder "Anytime little brother." She was about to leave the kitchen, wanting to do some other stuff. But she then stopped and said to Danny with a smile "You know, despite that the change you're going through lately, I'm really proud of you that you handle things more mature."

Danny chuckled while taking another bite from his sandwich "Please, I'm not as mature as you are."

"Maybe not. But it's a start."

As Jazz walked up the stairs, she started to think about the possibility of Danny being a relationship, but was feeling that he needs more guidance in that. When she was back into her room she wrote on her notebook "Hmmm. Asking for advice about Emily and girl emotions…?" Jazz then knew what Danny needed "Of course! Danny is finally asking these things because he never got 'The Talk' from Mom and Dad!"

After she finished writing these notes and placed her notebook down, she rose from her chair and packed some books for school "Well, I think it's time that Mom and Dad give Danny 'The Talk'."

Meanwhile at Sam's place…

Ember was sitting at her bed while playing on her guitar, practicing the song she's been working on.

I can feel the night beginning.

Separate me from the living.

Understanding me.

After all I've seen.

Piecing every thought together.

Find the words to make me better.

If I only knew,

how to pull myself apart.

Ember stopped for a moment, thinking of what to play next and just hit the cords hard.

All that I'm living for,

All that I'm dying for,

All that I can't ignore alone at night.

Ember then stopped playing, taking some pieces of paper where she wrote some words that she could possibly use for the song. She thought for a moment and suddenly came with some good lines and said while writing these words "Should it hurt to love? Should I feel like I… do…? Should I… lock the last… open… door…" she stopped writing, as her mind was back on Danny. Ember became sad again.

She dropped her pencil and buried her face in her hands. The thought of her when she told Danny to go away from her, made her sad. Ember never wanted to send Danny away, but feeling that she might have ruined their friendship when she kissed him was too much for her. She never meant to hurt Danny, for he was like nobody that she'd ever met in her whole (after)life, someone that had become more than just a friend to her.

Though some tears formed in her eyes, Ember stared at her window while a small smile formed on her face. She could no longer deny her true feelings "I… I am in love with Danny. I am in love with Danny!" Her flaming hair started to flare up high, reacting to Ember finally embracing what she truly feels for Danny.

But then she squealed out of shock and quickly returned her flared hair back to normal. Fearing that her overenthusiasm would burn the whole place down she looked up the ceiling and around the attic, fearing she did some damage to her place. But surprisingly… everything was undamaged, making Ember confused "Huh? Normally everything burns to ashes when my hair flares up way too much." but then she realized that only when she's angry everything burns to ashes. Ember then looked up her flaring ponytail and gave a small smile.

Ember then heard a knock, coming from the hatch. Ember figured that it was Sam. She opened the hatch, seeing Sam on the steps with a tray of wealthy breakfast, consisting of two croissants, an omelet and a bowl of grapes.

"Breakfast!" Sam said while handling over the tray to Ember.

"Thanks Sam." Ember took the tray while asking "You made this for me? I thought you only make ultra recyclo-vegetarian food?"

Sam walked up while closing the hatch, stating "I am. I just noticed that you didn't took anything from the kitchen this morning, so I figured you hadn't eaten anything yet. I took some from the table while my parents and my grandma weren't looking."

Ember admitted that she hadn't taking any breakfast this morning, as she'd tried to clear her mind by practicing on her guitar and working on her new song. She was grateful that Sam brought her something to eat.

While Ember ate her breakfast, Sam was still wandering what was going on between her ghost friend and Danny. She still denied that she was jealous and all, but still wanted to know why the both of them are acting differently. So Sam asked "Is everything going alright between you and Danny?"

Ember looked at her with a confused look "Yeah. How come?"

Sam shrugged "I don't know, it's just…. Well, me and Tucker have noticed that you and Danny have been acting… how should I put it? We've noticed that you two are acting more awkwardly when you and Danny are together. Is something going on between the two of you?" Sam now started to demand.

While Ember was blushing, she tried to hide it "Oh… uhh…. We just…" Sam waited for her to give an answer, looking suspicious. Ember didn't know if she should tell that she has started to like Danny more than just a friend and just said "It's about the… bond we share. You know, why we can sense each other's emotions and can sense each other from miles away. We're just struggling to figure this out."

Feeling a bit relieved, Sam formed a small smile "Oh. Okay."

While Sam checked her phone, wanting to know when her delivery will arrive at school, she thought about Danny's change of character of something he's not to his true rock'n'roll-self. Perhaps him being more having the courage to take risks, maybe the both of them could end up together. However, she was still unsure if she was strong enough to take that risk.

Ember noticed by the look on Sam's face that she was troubled about something "Is there something bothering you, Sam? You look so quiet."

Sam gave a fake smile while trying to wave it off "Oh, it's nothing. I just hope that that special delivery is coming on time, that's all." She then looked at Ember, clearly seeing that she wasn't fooled by that.

Ember shoved a bit closer while putting the tray aside "Sam, I'm your friend. You don't need to hide things from me. You can trust me. And maybe I could help, if you allow me to?"

Sam did appreciate that. She didn't wanted to tell that it was about Danny that she thought, so she said in a different perspective "Well… you see, Em. I have this friend and she… has a crush on somebody for some time now, but… she doesn't have the courage to say it to him, fearing what his response would be."

Ember formed a small smile, knowing already that Sam was actually talking about herself "Right. And I suppose that 'this friend' of yours, you mean by yourself, right?"

Sam looked at her surprised, while blushing. Ember laughed, before ensuring her "Sam, it's okay. Just tell me."

Sam sighed "Okay, okay! It's me! I have this major crush on this guy but I just can't get the courage to tell him!"

"Why? Are you afraid what he's going to say when you do?"

"YES!" Sam out frustrated before crossing her arms "I don't even know he feels the same way about me!"

Trying to see how she could help, Ember suggested "Well… than maybe you should take the initiative?" Sam looked at Ember with a raised eyebrow while she continued "Try to get his attention by showing interest in what he does. You do know the things he likes, right?"

Sam nodded "Yeah… there are some things I know he likes."

"Take that as you advantage. And… try to flirt with him. Trust me, every boy likes that," Ember advised while giving a wink, making Sam to giggle "Also, don't try to rush things. Take things at a slow approach."

Sam shared a hug with Ember, being thankful for the advice. But she did wander how Ember knew what was best when you like a guy. So Sam asked when breaking the hug "How do you know so much about this stuff. Because I remember that you told us that you had some bad experiences when it came to boys."

Ember nodded that Sam had a point. So she explained where she got all that info "That's true. I have a friend back in the Ghost-Zone named Kitty. She's an expert at those things."

Sam nodded in understanding "I see. Thanks, Ember."

"No problem," Ember then checked the time and saw that they only had 15 minutes left before school starts "We should hurry, we'll be late for school."

Sam nodded when checking the time "Yeah, we should."

After taking their stuff, Sam walked out of the house, while Ember remained invisible and placed the tray back in the kitchen while nobody looked and became intangible while phasing through the wall and joined with Sam outside. Once the coast was clear, Ember became visible again and activated her human disguise.

A few minutes before school would start, Ember and Sam met with Danny and Tucker before the entrance of Casper High.

Danny and Ember felt uncertain what to say after what happened last night. Danny started to say "…Hi, Emily."

Ember answered in the same way "Uhh… Hi, dipstick."

There was a short moment of silence, not knowing what to say. Both sensing their emotions.

"Danny/Emily I wanted to-" both said simultaneously. Both chuckled for saying the same thing.

"Sorry." Ember apologized.

"Don't be. I…" Danny again lost for words "Em… I-"

He was interrupted by Tucker "Danny! Em! C'mon, we're gonna be late!"

Danny and Ember glanced at each other for a moment. Both shared a small smile, while Danny asked "Uhh… later?"

Ember nodded while joining him inside the school while the first bell ringed.

A few hours later, before lunch break. Danny, Ember and Tucker met with Sam behind the school and each took several boxes which says on top 'Save the Frogs!' from the delivery truck.

While all four walked down the hall together while each carried a box, Danny asked "So, why exactly are we breaking our backs here, Sam?"

"Frog's rights." Sam stated while frowning "We have to stop dissecting frogs in our school biology labs. And at today's assembly, I'm gonna demonstrate a humane alternative." All stopped while Sam placed her box next to the ten other boxes.

Ember got the creeps when she remembered doing dissecting frogs back in 1984 "I always hated that part of science class. It's so… disgusting!"

Sam formed a smile as at least one of her friends supported her, while Tucker raised an eyebrow as he reads the top of his box while placing it on top of another "I Can't Believe It's Not a Frog Cadaver?"

Sam nodded while putting her box down and takes out an oozing mechanical frog, who croaks in a robotic voice "(Croak) Please remove my detachable three-chambered heart. (Croak)"

Ember formed a smile, feeling relieved that Sam had a solution for both saving the frogs and that the students can still learn about organs and glanced at Danny "Thank God. If I was gonna dissect another frog, I'm gonna vomit."

While Danny thought too it was a good alternative for biology class than working with real-life frogs, his Warning Ghost Sense suddenly goes off.

Sam's box on the ground began to glow green and shake, then a cloud of green smoke erupts! Out of surprise, Sam accidentally tosses away the robotic frog and lands on Tucker's head and struggles to remove it.

The green smoke then materializes into the Box Ghost.

Ember rolled her eyes when seeing the weakest enemy they've encountered, while Danny frowned "Oh great. Him again."

The Box Ghost waved his hands around, trying to look scared "I am the Box Ghost," then he glows green "and I will have my corrugated cardboard vengeance!"

Danny transforms into his ghost form, while Ember deactivated her disguise and turned ghost too. The Box Ghost uses his power to levitate several boxes in the air. Sam pulls the robotic frog off of Tucker's face, leaving him covered in green slime.

Tucker tries to wipe some off his face "Oh, gross!"

While Ember makes her guitar appear in her hands, Danny told Sam and Tucker "You guys get to the assembly. Me and Ember will get this moron sealed up tight."

Sam and Tucker both nodded while taking some boxes with them and ran off.

The Box Ghost then uses his power to open one of the boxes and numerous sharp scalpels rise up out of it, sending them straight at Danny! Just as Danny was going to use his ghost shield, Ember pushed him out of the way "LOOK OUT DIPSTICK!" while both fell on the floor, the scalpels hit the wall of lockers instead.

While Danny rubbed his head, Ember worriedly asked while holding him "Are you alright?"

Both then looked into each other's eyes "Yeah… I'm okay, Em." Danny ensured her while he and Ember both blushed.

Their awkwardness caused them not to notice the Box Ghost slams into them, sending them through the lockers, but Danny managed to turn him and Ember just in time intangible before that! Both fly through several more rooms before they finally tumble into the backstage area of the school's auditorium, where Tucker was placing the last box, being shocked to see Danny and Ember all of the sudden.

Danny and Ember quickly stood up as the Box Ghost phases through the wall "Tremble before the might of the Box Ghost," he made his hands glow green and causes a bigger box to levitate "as you are devoured by…" he reads the label on the box "Uh, oh yeah. Costumes and props from the Broadway classic, My Fair Lady!"

The Box Ghost then makes the clothes coming out of the box and sends the whole pile right at Danny and Ember, but both reacted quickly and both used a ghost shield to deflect the clothes away from them… sending them straight at Tucker and ends up under the pile of clothes.

While the Box Ghost evilly laughed, Ember was now angry "Okay, now you've gone a bit too far, Box Ghost!" she switches the dial on her guitar on a different symbol, that of a heart "If you love boxes so much, then maybe this'll will keep you busy for the rest of the day." she then hits the strings hard "How about a love song!?" a pink wave full of hearts surges from her strings, sending it straight at the Box Ghost!

Box Ghost's eyes went wide as the love wave passes over him and sends him flying backwards till he hit the wall behind him hard, while a small package landed at his feet.

Box Ghost's eyes were showing pink circle loops, but as they returned to normal he looked down at the small package in front of him. He formed a dreamy grin as he holds up the box close to him and strokes it gently "So… majestic…. Such… beautiful shape…" Box Ghost then hugs it tightly "I'll never let anything happen to you…"

Danny raised an eyebrow while being weirded out.

As Box raises into the air, still holding the small package gently in his arms, he looked at Danny and Ember for a moment "Uh… oh yeah. Beware!" he then phases out through the ceiling.

"Whoa. What kind of power was that?" Danny asked Ember.

Ember smiled while stating "Oh, it's a hypnotic love ray. It doesn't create real love but makes someone over obsessed over someone else, or something in this case. I don't use it much but it's handful if you want to create a distraction for a while."

Danny then gave her a flirty smile "Well, I gotta say, you're one heck of a girl."

Ember blushed and moved some hair behind her ear "Thanks. You're not so bad yourself."

Both looked away for a little while, till Ember asked "So… what was it that you wanted to talk about?"

Danny looked into Ember's eyes and softly held her hands. The feeling of even holding his hands, made her feel butterflies in her stomach as she formed a small smile.

"Ember… I-"

"Fellow students!" suddenly they heard Sam's voice over the microphone behind the curtain.

Danny and Ember gasped while quickly turning invisible.

Sam continued saying "Something sick and disgusting is taking place right here in our school, and I'm about to show you what it is."

The curtain opens up behind her to reveal a large sign saying 'Save the Frogs!'. The students in the audience paused, then immediately burted into a laughter. Sam turns around confused, seeing Tucker, who stands up from the pile of clothes wearing a pink-white dress, a matching hat with a wig of curls, and makeup. Tucker squeals when he realizes the situation and ran off the stage while the students kept laughing at him.

Danny and Ember watched as Tucker ran out of the auditorium. Both then glanced at each other, feeling regret that they had done that.

Some time later, Danny, Ember (in her human disguise), Sam and Tucker walked down a hallway, while other students chuckled or laughed at Tucker.

Sam frowned, feeling her plan to convince the students had failed miserable "Well thanks a lot, Tucker! Thanks to your little dress-up parade, my 'Safe the Frogs!' presentation was a total bust."

Tucker then frowned at Danny and Ember.

"We already told you that we're sorry, Tucker." Ember said.

Danny nodded "Yeah, it's not like we can control every ghost that comes into town."

Tucker sighed while narrowing his eyes "I know. At least there is something else I've figured out about myself."

"And what's that?" Ember asked.

"Puce is not my color."

The friend group then walks up to Danny's locker, what was now being covered in yellow caution tape by the janitor. Danny frowned while they stopped "Now that idiot Box Ghost trashed my locker, I've been assigned a new one." He takes a paper from his pocked and reads "Locker… 724."

Sam and Tucker gasped in fear. Tucker points behind Danny at the rusty, worn-down locker 724.

All walked towards it, while Danny asked his friends confused "What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost."

Ember giggled at that while Tucker asked Danny dramatically "Hello?! Locker 724? How do you not know the legend of locker 724?"

"I do." Ember said. Everyone looked at Ember, who rolled her eyes "Everyone in my time knew about it. And… this used to be my locker too."

Tucker gasps even louder when Ember mentioned that locker 724 used to be her locker when she was still alive. Ember just narrowed her eyes at Tucker.

Danny opens the locker. It was just as rusty and worn-down as the on the outside, with a few spiderwebs hanging in the corners and a gold-framed mirror hanging in the back. Danny touches it for a moment while asking "Seriously, guys. What's the big deal with 724?"

Just before Ember or Tucker were about to answer that question, Dash Baxster suddenly slaps down the hat wig from the My Fair Lady costume onto Tucker's head "You left something behind, Foley."

Dash, Dale and another jock friend of Dash with red hair laughed while Tucker puts the wig down, feeling embarrassed. Danny and Ember frowned at Dash and his friends.

Dash then grabs Tucker "Let's see if it fits in Fenturd's new locker, with you inside!"

Dash then shoves tucker into locker 724, but as he was about to slam the door shut, Danny grabs the door and threatens Dash "Why don't you pick on someone of your own size?"

Though he was surprised, Dash smirks at Danny "And what are you going to do about it, Fenturd?"

"I can think of a million ways." He said while frowning.

Dash then frowns back and cracks his free fist. Danny's eyes started to glow green.

Ember then stepped in between them and said seriously to Dash "Back off, Dash! Go bother someone else."

Dash raised an eyebrow at her. He looked at Danny for a moment, before returning his glance at Ember. He gave a smirk, seeing this could be his way of winning her over, as it was now known that he has a crush on Ember. He let's go of the locker room.

Dash's red haired jock friend then laughed "Hahahahaha! You need a girl to handle your fights, Foley? No wonder you're hanging out with Emily McLame!" he continued laughing, followed by Dale, while Dash didn't laugh.

Ember frowned at them, while Danny's anger grow of their insult to Ember "Don't make fun of Emily's name!"

Dash tried to impress Ember by frowning at his friend who called her McLame "Yeah, don't make fun of Emily's name!" and punched his friend in the stomach.

While he grunts in pain, he apologized "Sorry Dash…"

"Let's get out of here." Dash ordered while walking away, followed by his two friends while one rubbed his stomach. Dash looked back at Ember, giving a flirty wink while continued walking.

Ember stuck her tongue out of her mouth, feeling grossed out "Eck."

Tucker stepped out of the locker while saying "I was gonna tell you the locker was cursed, but I think you figured that out."

However, Danny was still as angry at Dash. He watched as the big bully threw away a pile of books that one of the nerds was carrying "Whoops, my apologies. Hahahahaha!"

To blow off some steam, Danny was gonna teach Dash a lesson "I'll show you cursed. Cover me." Danny grabs Sam and Tucker and hides behind them while going ghost and flies invisibly down the hallway, then overshadows Dash. Danny, now in control over Dash's body, slams his head several times against a locked before dunking it into the janitor's mop bucket, where he leaves Dash's body. Danny flies away from the crowd surrounding Dash and pops back into his human form. Ember gave a proudly smile at Danny while he gave Tucker a high-five.

Sam first glared at Danny for using his powers like that, but reminding her talk with Ember this morning how he could impress the guy she likes (Danny), she said "Even though I don't approve that you abuse your powers like that, Dash did kinda deserved that."

That Sam said that surprised Tucker at first, but then smiled at Danny "It's about time you used that Phantom advantage for some ghostly get-back."

All walked further, while Ember whispered in Danny's ear "You know, I would have done the same thing."

Danny smiled at her and out of his own movement, he placed his hand at her side, making her blush but then smiled back at him.

Danny suddenly realized what he did and moved his hand away from her "Uhh… sorry."

Ember shrugged "That's okay."

Sam and Tucker hadn't noticed Danny and Ember's moment.

When all four were out of sight, locker 724 started to glow green as a voice speaks from within "Bullies…. Bullies!"

The next morning, at Fenton Works…

(April 29th, 2004)

Danny walked down the stairs, feeling frustrated. He really wanted to tell Ember what he truly feels for her and apologize what had happened two nights before, but being busy with school and hunting ghosts didn't gave him the chance to talk with Ember about it. Or he was just making that kind of excuses in his mind as he's maybe scared what will be the result of it.

When Danny made it downstairs, he stopped for a moment while vowing to himself mentally "Okay. Today is the day. No more setbacks. No more excuses. I'm gonna tell Ember what I'm feeling for her."

Danny walks into the kitchen, where at the table his Mom is working on big metal gloves, probably another invention that his parents had made. Jazz was reading a book and their father was eating breakfast.

When Jack saw his son entering the kitchen "So, Danny!" he first said with a smile, but then asked suspicious "What's this I hear about you getting a new locker?"

Danny had kinda expected that to hear from either of his parents, so he had prepared for the perfect excuse for it "It's no big deal. Some idiot had slammed my locker, so I had to get a new one. Nothing for you and Mom to get obsessive about."

"Why? Is it haunted?!" Jack asked angrily.

Just before Danny was about to ensure that nothing was wrong with his new locker (or so he thought it might be), Maddie told while finishing their new invention "Don't worry, son. You'll barely even notice us while we're taking out that locker during normal school hours."

Jazz looked up from her book surprised "What?! No!" she runs to her brother and covered her protectively "Danny is at a very critical stage in the development of his peer groups. He's already going through a stage that'll determine his personality. The last thing he needs is you two destroying that for him."

Danny narrowed his eyes as his sister was once again being overprotective about him, though he did appreciated that and formed a small smile.

Jack then grabs the new invention from the table; the Ghost Gauntlets and puts them on, bumping them together and swings his fists around to showcase them "And the best part is, thanks to the new ghost gloves, when that ghost comes out of that locker, I can spar with it mono à ghost-o." Jack then punches a column of pipes and breaks them down.

As Jack raises his arms victoriously while more pipes crash down from the ceiling, Danny ensured his parents "I told you, there is nothing wrong with my new locker! Geez!" he annoyingly calls while grabbing a plate of breakfast and sits down at the table.

While Maddie and Jack glanced at each other for a moment, Jazz cleared her throat and quietly said "Mom. Dad. What we talked about yesterday? Regarding Danny?"

Having nearly forgotten it, Jack and Maddie smiled while giving their daughter a wink. Jazz left the kitchen, leaving her brother alone with their parents.

Maddy then said "Danny? Sweety?"

Danny looked at his mother "Yes?"

Jack puts his arm around him and smiled "Son. I believe it's time we have a talk with you."

Danny was first surprised, thinking he was in trouble "What? Look if this is about school or my friends or any other thing, then-"

Jack pats his shoulder, ensuring Danny "Not a talk, Danny. 'The Talk'."

Danny's eyes went wide, knowing now what his parents meant "Oh no. Oh please no…!"

After being sure that Danny knew the basic mechanics, to Danny's great embarrassment, and trying to teach him about 'using protection', Jack and Maddie proceeded to advice their son that he was far too young to be doing that kind of thing, especially with a girl around his age.

"But honestly, Danny, that never stops anyone from doing it earlier, but your mother and I are sure that you're responsible enough for that." Jack said proudly.

Then Maddie added "Whatever you do, be careful and be considerate. Let Emily set the pace."

Danny looked surprised when his mother mentioned about Ember "Wait…! I never said that I-"

Jack ensured him "Danny, it's obvious that you two are very close together."

Danny really wanted to hide himself as he blushed deep red.

Maddie chuckled at seeing her son like this "Don't worry, sweety. Whenever it is Emily or not, your father and I just want to be sure that you don't make a mistake when you take 'that' step into a relationship."

Danny did form a small smile "Well… even IF it comes to that… I don't think I'm gonna take that step, at least if the girl doesn't want it yet."

Jack and Maddie felt proudly at their son for saying that. Then Jack took something out of his pocket and placed it on the table "Also, if you really like this girl, Danny, you would let her know. Give her something like this."

Danny looked at what his father placed before him. It was a golden ring with a blue-green stone "A class ring?" he asked.

Jack nodded "A girlfriend's not a girlfriend until you give her a class ring, Danny. It also says I think you could be the girl I fight ghosts with. That's how it was with your mother when I gave her a class ring." he gave a grin to his wife.

Maddie sighed in awe as she remembered that day at college so well.

Danny took the ring "So… I give her this?"

"Only if she's special. I'm sure Emily will love it." Jack said in a certain way.

Danny looked at the ring and sees that the ring is engraved inside 'Emily'. He smiled as he placed the ring in his pocket "Thanks." then he looked at the clock and saw that school was about to start soon "It's that late?!" Danny panicked as he only had 9 minutes left before school starts! He quickly took his bag and ran out of the house "Gotta go! Bye!"

Jack and Maddie watched their son racing out of the house before glancing back at each other, not even noticing that Danny transformed into his ghost form and flew with speed to Casper High.

Jack could already imagine their son and Emily as a couple "You know Maddie, with Emily's interest in our way of hunting ghosts, she's perfect for our son."

Maddie nodded while picturing in her mind what they would be in the future "Oh Jack, can you already imagine how our grandchildren would look like?!"

Jack raised his hands for his wife to slow down at that part "Whoa whoa whoa, easy there Maddie. It's too early for that part. The last thing we need is that one of our kids becomes a teenage parent."

Maddie shrugged, before taking some ghost hunting equipment "I guess you're right. Now let's see if we can catch some ghosts at their school."

Jack proudly puts on the Ghost Gauntlets "Right behind you!" and ran out of the house.

A few hours later, at Casper High…

After their third class was finished, Danny walked down the hallway to his new locker to get his notebook and his book for history lesson. Sam walked along with him, as her locker was near his.

Sam felt a bit nervous of what to say to impress Danny. Then she got an idea "So… how does it feel so far of finally being out of your shell? You know, going from 'Nerd with a guitar' to rock'n'roll guy?"

Danny gave a smile as he stated "It's great! I feel much better after embracing my true inner self," then he felt a bit awkwardly "And I gotta admit, I do get a lot of attention cause of my new look and personality. Especially with the ladies around school."

That was when Sam got worried, as she didn't think that now every girl in school was having a crush on him "Re…really?"

Danny nodded, while sighing annoyingly "Yeah. But honestly, I'm not really interested in any of them," he said as they arrived at his new old-rusted locker "I mean, just because I've changed a bit, doesn't mean that I'm now gonna through myself to every hot girl around like some kind of a womanizer."

Sam felt relieved after Danny said that. Trying to think how to continue their conversation in order to impress him, Sam told while leaning against the locker next to Danny's "Speaking of music, I actually play drums back home."

That made Danny looked surprised "Wait… you? Playing drums? I never knew you played drums."

"Well honestly, I used to play it for some years, just to annoy my stupid parents because they just can't accept me for who I am." that memory made her frown. Then she tried to smile again and stated "To be honest, after you've embraced your true self since last week, you've kind of inspired me to catch up again on the drums after not playing on it for some time."

Danny gave a smile back at her "That's great, Sam!"

Sam gave a shrug while blushing "Thanks." Then she walked over to her locker "Well, see you at history class."

Sam felt she did managed to impress Danny and was eager to squeak in excitement, but kept herself, trying not to draw any attention and reminded herself 'Take it slow, Sam. You just took the first step in trying to impress Danny. Now I gotta make sure that no other girl is getting Danny before me!' she vowed to herself as she entered the hallway to her left.

After Danny had opened his locker and took out his history book, he asked himself "Sam playing the drums. Who would have known?"

Just then, Danny heard the jock Dale saying "Hey, Tubby the Tuba." Danny glances over to see Dale and another football jock picking on a marching band student with a tuba. Dale grabs the student's shako and twists it in the student's ear "Nice shako. Does it remove earwax, too? Hahahahaha!"

Danny frowns at the two bullies were picking on another innocent student "Grrrrrgh! Fucking A-holes." He slams his locker door shut in anger and walks off.

Just then, the locker begins to glow green again as the same voice speaks from withing "Bullies."

Dale tosses the shako to his friend, while the band member tried to catch his shako "C'mon, guys. Give it back."

Dale's friend smirks "If you want it back, you gotta catch it. Go long!" he throws the shako down the hallway as Dale runs down it.

But as Dale was about to catch the shako, the locker door of locker 724 suddenly flies open and smacks Dale in the face! He falls on the ground, dazed while the shako lands on his head.

Not too far away from them, a nerd with glasses was pushing a projector on a cart. Paulina suddenly stops the cart with her foot and leans on it. She then tells flirtatiously to the nerd "I'm so fascinated by AV equipment. Can you show me how it works?"

Without the nerd knowing, Paulina was actually distracting him, allowing Kwan to sneak up behind the boy and tie the nerd's shoelaces together as part of a prank.

"Bullies!" Locker 724 glows while a stream of green ghostly energy comes out of it, sliding across the ceiling to the opposite wall, causing a trophy to fall off a shelf, right onto Kwan's head. He stumbles around and accidentally knocks into a fire extinguisher case, causing it to open an the extinguisher tumbles out, spewing foam at Paulina who screams as it knocks her backwards!

The green energy then unties the boy's shoelaces back to normal. The nerd looks around confused, but then shrugs and keeps walking with the projector.

Two hours later, in the Casper High cafeteria…

All the students were eating their lunch, while at the popular kids' table the A-listers said about all the spooky things that had happened to them.

"And all of a sudden, this locker door flies open and nails me, bro." Dale stated.

"I'm gonna be brushing this stuff out of my hair for a week!" Paulina moaned while trying to brush the foam out of her hair.

Kwan became scared "It's like, this school is haunted."

At another table, Danny, Ember, Sam and Tucker listened to what the A-listers were saying. Danny and Ember looked satisfied that those bullies got what they deserved, while Tucker and Sam looked surprised at what they heard.

Sam narrowed her eyes at Danny "Apparently, someone's been busy."

Danny waved his hands "It wasn't me. Not this time."

Then Sam glanced at Ember, who shook her head "Don't look at me. I didn't do that. Though I wished I would've done that."

Tucker then asked her "Why wouldn't you? Maybe it's about time that somebody struck a blow for Sidney Poindexter."

"Sidney who-dexter?" Danny asked confused.

Tucker takes out his PDA and taps on it while explaining "Sidney Poindexter. Locker 724 was originally owned by Poindexter back in the 50's." Tucker then showed a black-and-white school picture of Sidney Poindexter, wearing wire-frame glasses, had buck teeth and wears a bow-tie at his white-sleeved t-shirt.

Danny gave a weird look when he saw the old photo of Sidney Poindexter "Geez, he looks far more nerdier than any nerd I've ever seen."

Ember nodded, feeling bad for Sidney "Yeah, the poor guy being picked on because of what he was, and still is to this day."

When Ember mentioned that, all three of her friends gave her a surprised look, as if Ember KNOWS Sidney Poindexter personally.

Ember stated "I know it sounds weird, but I know Sidney Poindexter."

Tucker chuckled, as if she was making a joke "Yeah, nice try Emily. Poindexter lived in the 50's. You originally come from the 80's, so-"

"No, Tucker, I do know him! He resides in the Ghost-Zone, living in a realm that's like Casper High but in the 1950's."

The others were now even more surprised. Danny became curious and asked her "What about him?"

Ember then started to tell of how Sidney Poindexter's life was before he became a ghost "He was back in the day the victim of more cruel pranks than anyone in the history of Casper High School. Apparently, picking on him became a graduation requirement. He got stuffed into his locker so many times, it's believed that his spirit still inhabits it to this very day. Guess the stories were true after all, huh?"

"So, locker 724 is really haunted? I knew it." Tucker asked, confirming that the stories about the cursed locker are true.

Sam then asked Ember "But how do you know Poindexter? Is he your friend in the Ghost-zone?"

Ember shrugged "Well, I don't say he's really a friend of mine. We're more like… allies. I helped him a few times against some ghosts that were picking on him. Apparently we had something in common; that we both hated bullies. Thanks to me, he had the courage to make some changes around his own realm, except by erasing those projections that were once the people that tormented him in life."

"Projections?" Danny asked, before he remembered when they found Ember in the harbor while playing one of her own songs "Oh, like those band players that you created when we found you in the harbor two days ago?"

Ember gave another shrug "Something like that. But the difference is that I only create my own band player projections when I want to practice some new songs I come up with, or when I'm holding a concert in the Ghost-zone."

That earned a small smile on Danny's face "Wow. A heroine of the Ghost-zone and a Rockstar. Hehehe, you rock, Em." Danny raised a rock sign with his right hand.

Ember blushed "Thanks…"

Sam looked suspicious at both Danny and Ember, before she suddenly sees Mr. Lancer standing in the cafeteria doorway "Lancer." She raised herself from her chair while whispering to Ember "Em, it's time!"

Ember gave a nod and raised herself from her chair too, saying to Tucker and Danny "We'll be right back!" and then runs off with Sam.

"What are they going to do?" Danny wandered while asking Tucker.

Tucker gave a shrug "Beats me. But if it's about saving those frogs… I wouldn't be surprised." And just typed something on his PDA.

Dash, who watched Ember leaving the cafeteria with Sam, lustfully sighed while resting his head on his elbow.

Kwan raised an eyebrow at his friend "Dude, you're still in for that Californian rock-chick?"

Dash frowned at Kwan "Why not so!?" then he returned his glance at the doorway, just seeing Ember leaving "She's just so… gorgeous and pretty."

"Are you sure about doing this, Dash? Your reputation has already been damaged enough ever since everybody in school now knows you have a thing for McLain."

Dash then smirked at Kwan "Not for long. When I make her mine, that humiliating part will be easily forgotten. And you know what the rules say about the A-listers, don't you?" he asked.

Kwan thought for a moment, but then understood what Dash meant by that "Aaaaah, I get it. When somebody dates a A-lister, he or she becomes automatically a member."

"Exactly." Dash then raised from his chair "Time for me to throw in my special charms." He then walks out, heading towards the doorway that Ember and Sam went through.

Paulina rolled her eyes while still trying to brush foam out of her hair "Whatever."

Danny watched Dash heading out. The ghost boy could sense that the biggest bully was up to something. Danny frowned and went after Dash.

A few minutes later…

Sam and Ember watched the hallways while standing before the door of science lab, making sure that nobody was watching. While Sam opened the door, she said to Ember "Okay, you stay here and keep an eye out for any teachers."

Ember nodded "Right. You just get those frogs so we can smuggle them out."

As Sam entered the classroom, Ember stood guard, leaning against some lockers while trying to look like she was just hanging around.

When Ember watched her left, she suddenly saw Dash's face close to her, shocking her "Ah! Dash, what are you…?"

Dash chuckled "I didn't mean to scare you, Emily. I was just wandering what you were doing out here in the hallway… alone?"

Nervously, Ember tried to make an excuse "Uhh… I was just… me and Sam were…"

Dash gave a shrug "Nah, never mind that. I'm sure that the goth won't be back for a while." Then he leaned with his arm against the locker, standing really close to Ember "So, you like quarterbacks?" Dash asked in a flirty way.

Ember frowned "Uhh… no."

Though surprised, Dash returned with his flirting "Hahahaha. Of course, I understand. Anyway, is California where you're really come from? 'Cause I could swear that you descended from the skies like an angel."

Ember was feeling uncomfortable by this "Uhh… thanks?" she said with a fake smile, while mentally she was saying "Oh my God, is that A-hole hitting on me?! Eeeew!"

Not too far away from them, Danny was watching from a corner, seeing Dash trying to hit on Ember. He could sense that Ember wasn't feeling comfortable with Dash standing too close. His anger grew while his right fist cracked.

Ember tried to move away "You're… standing a bit too close."

Dash then moved to the other side, stopping Ember in her tracks "I know. Being around with the most handsome guy at school does giving the chills to some girls," then he moved Ember closer to him with his right arm "But you'll get used to it. You got any plans for tonight?"

Ember moved his arm away and stepped back, feeling irritated "I'm busy, Dash. I got studying to do for the two tests tomorrow."

Dash smirked while holding her arm "Ah c'mon. That can wait. What do you say we go hit a movie or something, so we'll get to know each other better?"

Ember had enough and pushed Dash away from her "I told you, I'm busy!" she tried to walk away again.

Dash had dealt with girls before that weren't interested in him yet. He grinned while stopping Ember again in his tracks, holding his hand around her back and move him very close to him "You like to be around me, don't you? I can see by your eyes that you want more than just hanging out."

Ember now frowned and pushed Dash away from her before slapping him in the face! "Shut your filthy mouth! I'm not that kind of girl!"

This surprised Dash, but he was not going to give up and moved her again close to him, holding her tight "Maybe you are, but you just don't know it yet."

Ember struggled, trying to get her arms free "Get your mean hooks off of me!"

Suddenly, Dash was grabbed by Danny and pinned to some lockers "Dash! She said take your mean hooks off of her!"

Dash frowned at Danny and pushed him back "What's it to you, Fenton? Well now you're gonna get it." Dash pushed him again, only for Danny to push him back. Dash then grabbed Danny by the collar, only to be grabbed as well by Danny. Both raised their fists, ready to beat each other up.

"Hey! What's going on here!?" a loud voice was heard at the other side of the hallway. Danny and Dash looked, seeing the gym teacher Miss Tetslaff. The muscular women marched to the two boys, demanding an answer as she crossed her arms.

Both boys looked at each other, then back at the teacher.

Ember then walked to the teacher, explaining "Dash was bothering me in the hallways. When I told him to lay off he didn't wanted to leave me alone. Danny saw it and stood up for me."

Miss Tetslaff looked at Danny, asking "Is that true, Mr. Fenton?"

He nodded while he and Dash let go of each other "Yeah, that's exactly what happened."

The gym teacher nodded and then glared at Dash "Well, Mr. Baxter you've just earned yourself a full week detention."

"But-but-" Dash stuttered.

"No buts! You are coming with me now right now, Mr. Baxter while I'm going to report this to Mr. Lancer."

Dash then glared back at Danny, whispering "You've won this time, Fentoast. But next time, you're dead meat." He then walked away with the gym teacher, receiving punishment for sure.

After they were gone, Danny readjusted his jacket, while Ember gave him a hug "Thank you, Danny."

Danny smiled at her "You're welcome, Em. Though I can't read people's minds, I knew what that douchebag had in mind when I saw him leaving the cafeteria." They broke the hug, looking into each other's eyes "I'm not gonna let any pervert get their hands on you, Emily."

Ember smiled at him, as she moved her arms around his neck, feeling so secure when she's with him "Dipstick…"

Danny was struggling in his mind "C'mon, Fenton, it's now or never! Say it! Say it! SAY IT!"

But as he was about to open his mouth, he heard Sam walking out of the science lab. Danny and Ember broke the hug quickly and blushed while looking away.

Though Danny was angry at himself for not telling his feelings for Ember, he raised an eyebrow at Sam, who was carrying a box of frogs "Sam, what are you doing?"

"Nothing." She suspiciously laughed. Then she wandered "What was going on here, anyway? I heard like you and Dash were having an argument or something?" Sam asked Ember.

Ember frowned while she stated "While I was standing guard, Dash suddenly appeared. That guy was trying to flirt with me!"

"Eeeew!" Sam was grossed out by hearing that.

"I know! Luckily Danny was here to stop him and now because Dash is caught by the Gym teacher, he's gonna have some detention this week."

Danny nodded, while still being angry at the biggest bully of Casper High trying to harass the ghost-girl he likes. He then thought of some well-deserved payback for that asshole "I wander how Dash is gonna feel when he has twelve frogs. In his pants." He said while looking at the box with frogs.

Sam knew what Danny had in mind and shook her head while holding the box away from him "Oh, no. You're not gonna exploit innocent amphibians for some juvenile revenge scheme."

Although she agreed with Sam, Ember too felt that Dash deserved some punishment for trying to harass her. She smiled in mischief while going invisible and overshadowed Sam. Now in control over Sam's body, she handed the box with frogs over to Danny "Here you go, dipstick. Knock yourself out."

Danny smiled while going ghost "Thanks." But just as he was about to fly away, he asked Ember "Uhm… Ember?"

"Yes, Danny?" Ember began to smile.

"You think that we… can talk to each other for moment after school? Alone?"

Sensing that it had to do with what happened two nights before. Ember gave a nod "Sure, dipstick."

Danny nodded and flew away, looking for Dash.

It didn't took long for Danny to locate Dash. He was leaning against the wall next to the door of Mr. Lancer's office, where the gym teacher was having a word with the vice-principal about Dash's behavior towards a female student.

Dash had his arms crossed while angrily talking to himself "That Fenturd is gonna pay for this one day. And when his girlfriend is all mine, he'll regret the day that he stood in my way from the women of my life."

Danny, with the box of frogs in his hands turned invisible and then yanks open the back of Dash's pants.

"Hey!" Dash shockingly called as his pants yanked open by itself

Danny then yanks Dash's underwear up and over his head, and then dumps the frogs into his pants. Dash cries out in pain as his head tears through his underwear and hops down the hallway "O-ooh! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!"

Danny chuckles before calling "That'll teach you for trying to harass my girl! Hahahahaha!"

As Dash hops by locker 724, it began to glow green as the same voice calls from within once more "Bullies!"

Suddenly, the ghost of Sidney Poindexter phases halfway out of the locker door. He looked surprised before smiling "Hey! I'm free! Finally, the doorway's been opened!" then he notices Danny laughing at Dash and frowns while facing him "You think that's funny, buster?"

Danny looked surprised as he sees the ghost of Poindexter floating before him "Huh? What? Sidney Poindexter?"

"That's right, bub." Both him and Danny turned visible "Now leave that poor kid alone." Poindexter warned Danny, thinking he'd just bullied an innocent student.

"What?" Danny asked surprised, but then laughs "Hahahahaha! Oh, man. That's a good one. I think you got it completely wrong who the victim is here."

Poindexter kept frowning at Danny, not taking what he said "Don't hand me that jazz, Clyde. You're the bully from where I'm standing."

"Floating." Danny corrected him.

"Uh, okay. Floating. Let's see how you like getting bullied!" Poindexter raised his arms while his hands began to glow green and his eyes turned solid red. With his powers, Poindexter causes all the lockers in the hallway to glow green before all the school supplies fly out! In the cafeteria, everybody's lunch trays suddenly smacks into the students' faces and food flies all over the room. While everybody started to panic and run out, Tucker knew this had to be the work of another ghost. He puts his PDA back in his pocket and ran out looking for Danny and Ember.

At that same moment, Sam was rounding up loose frogs and puts them back in the box. Ember helps her "There you go, little fellas." Sam ensured the frogs, before glaring at Ember for overshadowing her and giving the frogs to Danny for his prank "Don't you ever do that to me again."

Ember crossed his arms "Hey, the frogs are alright, Dash got pranked so we all-" suddenly, she felt through her link with Danny that he was in danger, making her gasp "Danny!" Ember quickly pressed the logo of her Ghost-disguiser and transforms back into her ghost form and flew away.

Meanwhile, Lancer was still talking with Miss Tetslaff about Dash' behavior towards Ember while both entered the science lab "Though I agree that Mr. Baxter's behavior should not go unpunished Miss Tetslaff, I need to check on those frogs for the dissection lesson this afternoon." But as Lancer looked at where he had placed the box with frogs, he looked surprised that they were gone "What the hell? I could have sworn that those frogs were right here."

Suddenly, the beakers and other science equipment in the room break and shatter, shocking both Miss Tatslaff and Lancer, who yelled in shock "GREAT GATSBY!"

Right at that moment at the front doors of the school, Maddie and Jack were about to enter to look for the ghost that they believe is haunting the school. Jazz cuts them off before they could go in "How many times do I have to tell you? There's nothing weird going on in this school!"

When Maddie and Jack shared a disbelieving look, suddenly a crowd of students runs out of the front doors, screaming in fear!

Jack and Maddie run into the school "Move, Maddie, move!" Jack called.

Jazz slaps her forehead in annoyance.

Back with Danny and Poindexter, the halfa tried to calm the ghostly nerd "Wait, you don't understand."

"I understand a bully when I see one." Poindexter called out in anger before he shoots a ghost ray out of his eyes at Danny. But being skillfully trained by Ember, Danny reacted quickly and deflect the blast with his ghost shield. He frowned at Poindexter "You wanna rock, four-eyes? Let's rock!" he turns intangible and flies into him, sending them both through the floor and into the basement!

Feeling weak from the attack, Danny transforms back into his human self automatically "Whoops. Didn't mean to do that."

Poindexter was in shock to see the ghost that was attacking him was in fact also a human "Holy socks! You're the halfa!"

Danny raised an eyebrow "The what-a?"

"The halfa. Everybody in the Ghost-Zone talks about you. You're half a mortal, half a ghost. The halfa! You have all our powers on the human plane and-" suddenly Poindexter became angry "And you're the one that attacked our beloved heroine Ember, hurt so many innocent ghosts in our realm and even using your powers to bully people!?"

Danny shook his head "No! I'm not the bully, just listen-" then he paused "Wait… what do you mean with hurting so many innocent ghosts? I've never been into the Ghost-Zone before and Ember and I are partners-"

Poindexter didn't believed him "Liar! Images say more than just words, bully! Your powers are not worthy to be used in your hands." The nerd ghost then turns intangible and flew into Danny's body, which starts glowing green and shaking as Danny struggles to resist.

"Hey! What are you doing?!"

"Giving you a taste of your own medicine, bully."

While still struggling to make sure that Poindexter to take over his body, Danny screamed "No! Listen to me! Dash is the one who-" Danny's face began to distort into weird positions and making strange sounds, but Danny tried to gain the upper hand with all his strength "Dash is the real bully!" again his face distorts "I would never hurt Ember! I LOVE HER!" Danny screamed another time while his body suddenly calms, as Poindexter had taken full control over his body.

"You can't fool me, halfa. You might have used your powers to hurt innocent beings…" Danny's ghost half intangibly floats up out of his body and through the ceiling, while Poindexter (now possessing Danny's body) smirked "…But I sure as sugar won't."

Danny ghost half floats into locker 724 and into the mirror. On the other side, a locker door opens up to show students walking in a black-and-white 50's version of Casper High in the Ghost-Zone. A jock walked by and looks into the locker while giving a smirk "Hey, Poindexter."

Danny looks in the mirror behind him in the locker, seeing that he now looks like Poindexter!

"AAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Back in the real world, Ember flew through the hallway where she last sensed Danny's presence, but didn't find him "Danny? Danny?!" She stopped when she saw Sam and Tucker and landed near them "Guys, have you seen Danny somewhere?!"

"I saw him for a moment fighting that other ghost, but then disappeared." Tucker answered.

Suddenly, all three could hear someone coming. Ember quickly activated her human disguise. Jack and Maddie run down the hallway, followed by Mr. Lancer.

Both of Danny's parents stopped at the trio "Is it true?" Maddie asked "Did you kids just witnessed a ghost attack?"

Ember thought really fast "Uhm… yeah! It was this big and threw everything out of the lockers with its powers!" she said dramatically.

Jack ensured them "Fear not, young ones." He raises the electrified Ghost Gauntlets in the air "These gloves are made for grabbing!"

Poindexter (in Danny's body) phases up intangibly through the floor behind Mr. Lancer who just joined them. Ember saw it and quickly said to Danny's parents as a diversion by pointing to the end of the hallway "He went that way! If you're fast you can still catch it Mr. and Mrs. Fenton!"

"We got a runner!" Jack called as he and his wife ran to where Ember saw the ghost escaping to.

While Poindexter turned tangible behind Mr. Lancer who didn't noticed him as the vice principal crossed his arms suspicious at Sam, who was holding the box with frogs "Hmmm. Looks more like that a girl tried to create a diversion for her own needs."

Nervously, Sam answered "Right. Right. No ghost here."

Mr. Lancer then ran off after Danny's parents.

Tucker walked to Poindexter, thinking it is Danny and whispered "Watch it, Danny. Your parents almost caught your intangible act."

Poindexter just smirks in satisfaction of not being suspected.

Back with Danny, in Poindexter's realm…

Danny (in Poindexter's body) walked down the hallway of Poindexter's version of 1950's Casper High, looking around worriedly as everything was black-and-white "This must be Poindexter's realm in the Ghost-Zone like Ember told me. It almost feels like I've dropped into my grandpa's yearbook."

Then, a male teen comes up to Danny, making him stop "Hey, Poindexter." He points at Danny's chest while smirking "You got a spot on your shirt." Danny looked down, only the finger of the boy hit up Danny's nose, making him laugh "Ha! Made you look! Hahahahaha!"

Other students joined in the laughter. But Danny… he was starting to see flashbacks of being humiliated by Dash and his goons over the years. Hearing the people laughing at him, the boy that pranked him Danny saw only the image of Dash. Then… something snapped in Danny. He began to frown as his anger grew. His right hand forming a tight fist.

The boy's laughter died out when he saw Poindexter's rising fury, making him look surprised. But before he could say anything, Danny hit the boy's cheek hard with a right uppercut! The boy felt dizzy… and then fall with his back to the floor.

All the present students gasped in shock, not believing that Poindexter, the biggest nerd ever had just knocked out one of the bullies that was nearly 2 feet taller than him.

"Have you seen that?!" a 50's cheerleader asked her friend in shock.

"Poindexter just clipped Pieterson… with just one blow!" a 50's jock called.

While all the students muttered among each other of what had just happened, Danny stroke his right hand "Geez. Being in a weaker body does hurt." Seeing that he didn't wanted to stick any longer in Poindexter's realm, he ran to the front door of the school "I got to get out of here."

But as he opens the front door, he realizes that there's no ground as Poindexter's school floated in the Ghost-Zone! Danny nearly falls but manages to hold on to one of the doors and climbs back in "Okay, not that way!"

Back in the real world…

Poindexter walked down the hallway, followed by Ember, Sam and Tucker (who now carried the box with frogs). Poindexter felt happy to have finally people to hang out with "Ooh, ooh! Spiff diddly dee, man. So this is what It's like to have friends."

Sam narrowed her eyes in confusion, as she never had heard Danny talk like that "You sure you're alright, Danny?"

As Poindexter didn't responded, Tucker tried to get his attention "Danny?"

Realizing that Poindexter had possed the body of a boy named Danny he nervously said "Oh, me? Yeah, right. I'm right like Ike, Mike."

Ember was also confused, as this was not the Danny that she remembered. But what was more strange, she couldn't sense his presence anymore like they've always had after the accident with the Fenton Portal.

"Why does your voice sound so weird?" Sam asked.

"Uh… puberty?" Poindexter answered.

"What just happened in the hallways anyway? Was there another ghost attack?" Tucker wandered.

"Oh, that square?" Poindexter laughed as they stopped walking "He flew the coop. Permanent-like." He then proudly left the trio and headed on.

"Flew the coop? Permenant-like?" Ember asked confused before looking suspicious "Danny would never say those words."

Sam nodded in agreement, still figuring out what was going on with Danny "Yeah, it's almost like he is a total different person. Even more different that his inner rock'n'roll self."

"Yeah. He almost sounds like-" Ember then gasped as she realized that there was only one person that she knew who would say those nerdy words that made no sense. She watched him adjusting his jacket at a mirror, admiring himself in his rock outfit. Ember's eyes glowed green in anger "Poindexter."

Not far from Poindexter, Dash hits a vending machine in anger "Come on! Give me my soda!"

Poindexter walked up to Dash with a smile "Hey, let me help you out there, pal."

Poindexter was just about to make his hand intangible, before being grabbed by Ember by the jacket, being dragged away "Can I talk to you for a minute?" Sam and Tucker followed Ember taking Poindexter (in Danny's body).

Dash just watched them going and frowned back at the vending machine, starting to hit it again "C'mon you stupid machine!"

Ember took Poindexter into the empty science lab, with Sam and Tucker entering it and closing the door. Ember faced Poindexter seriously "Okay, Danny, what is going on here? Why are you suddenly acting like this than your usual self?"

Nervously, Poindexter answered "Oh… uhm… nothing. This is the real me. Me old Danny, helping those in need and the spitting image of every student. Right?" he asked again nervously.

Sam and Tucker looked suspicious, while Ember narrowed her eyes as that was definitely not the Danny that she had feelings for. She asked Danny another question "Okay, then let me ask you this: Do you even remember what we did two nights ago?"

Poindexter became even more nervous as sweat came from his forehead "Uh… uh-uh-uh we…. We compared notes! No, no, no, we did our homework… for the… coming test! For science… right?!"

Ember was totally convinced that THAT definitely is not Danny. Even Tucker and Sam now knew for sure that it was not Danny that they were talking to.

With a fake smile, Ember said "Of course. Run along now, Danny."

Poindexter felt relieved and was about to bypass the trio "Oh… well, thank you very much lovely lady-"

But then he was grabbed at the shoulder tightly by Ember "Or should I call you… Sidney Poindexter!?"

Poindexter looked in shock as his cover was blown.

"Wait… Sidney Poindexter?" Tucker asked confused before frowning.

"The ghost of locker 724?" Sam said.

Then Poindexter frowned, removing Ember's hand from his shoulders "Okay, fine! You got me, Sidney Poindexter. But now with the new powers I required from that bully," he smirked while transforming into Danny ghost form "I'll be the ghost hero that this world needs! And there is nothing that you can do to stop me!"

However, that was where the nerd ghost was dead wrong. Ember glanced at him angrily "Sidney Poindexter. You messed with the wrong ghost." She then pressed the logo of her disguise belt, forming a bluish-white ring around her waist, as it split in two, one going up and one down. Her black shirt, long dark blue pants, black gothic boots and black-purple fingerless gloves changing into her iconic 80's rock outfit and her dark brown hair turning into her robin's egg blue flaming hair.

Poindexter looked in shock, as he saw the heroine of the Ghost-Zone and ally before him "E-Emb-b-b-ber McL-L-Lain?! You're Ember McLain!" then he smiled bright "Awsomono! You and I can finally fight the evil of this world toge-" but then he was tightly grabbed by the throat, making him hard to breath "Uuugg… that's… really tight…!"

Ember slammed Poindexter to a wall, cracking it while her hair flared up responding to her increasing anger "Where is Danny!? WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM!?"

Sam and Tucker stepped back, as they didn't wanted to get caught in Ember's fury flames.

Poindexter frowned at Ember, explaining "Oh that bully? I just gave him a taste of his own medicine, to learn how it's like to get bullied and for trying to kill you before you disappeared into the human world, Ember."

Ember slammed Poindexter again to the wall, creating more cracks "Are you that STUPID!? Danny Fenton and I are partners! We've been fighting evil ghosts together for months!"

As the flames of Ember's hair became too much for Sam and Tucker, both gave a short glance to another, having the same thing in mind and hurried out of the science lab. Sam quickly ran back to take the box with frogs "Don't worry little fellas. I'm getting you out of here." She then ran with the frogs out of the classroom.

Poindexter looked first confused, but then suddenly remembered some other story he heard in the Ghost-Zone "Wait… you fight evil ghosts with him? But then… he's the other halfa who had fought both Skulker and Tech-" he paused, realizing he made a mistake "Oh… dear."

Ember's eyes turned red, as she grabbed Poindexter tighter by the collar "WHERE IS DANNY YOU LITTLE PUNK!? WHAT DID YOU DO WITH MY MAN!?"

Being very afraid of what Ember's respond will be, Poindexter stated "I… uhh… took over his body and send his ghost half to my realm…." He nervously smiled.

This shocked Ember, before screaming in fury "YOU DID WHAAAAAAAT!?" her increasing flaming hair caused a firing explosion in the bio lab!

The shock was felt nearly throughout the entire school. Jack and Maddie felt it too while searching outside the school for the ghost. Both looked at where the shock came from.

"GHOST!" Jack yelled as he and Maddie ran back inside.

Mr. Lancer was the first to ran into the science classroom where the explosion came from. When he opened the door, he gasped in shock to see that if a bomb had just exploded in the room, with everything burned black and all the desks destroyed.

Meanwhile back with Danny…

Danny walked up to locker 724 in Poindexter's realm and opens it "This is how I came in. There's got to be a way back!" he touches the mirror inside, making the present-day locker 724 glow green and flies open. Danny looks through the mirror to see what's happening. He then sees Ember in her ghost form, holding tight to Poindexter against a locker at the other side.

"You better fix Danny right now, OR I SWEAR YOU'LL REGRET THE DAY YOU DIED!"

Danny formed a goofy smile seeing Ember beating some sense into the nerd ghost "Man I love that girl…"

Suddenly, Danny was grabbed from behind and was hold tight with one hand in the air by another bully from Poindexter's realm. He and his two friends had Elvis Presley hair and all wear black leather jackets "Hey Poindexter! We heard you clipped our buddy, Pieterson. Now you're gonna pay the consequences." The guy fiercely said while showing his right fist.

Danny frowned and kicked him right in the face, making him to drop! The cool kid tripped back while wiping his bloody nose while being helped up by his two friends.

The leader of the cool kids groaned in anger, while Danny cracked his knuckles "Just that I have a weaker body, that doesn't mean I won't fight back."

All three of the cool kids looked surprised before laughing "You're gonna fight back? I don't think so."

"Wanna bet?" Danny stood ready to fight these bullies.

Back with Ember and Poindexter, the firing girl raised Poindexter (in Danny's body) and walked up to the opened locker 724 "So through the mirror you've send him to your realm?!" Ember asked fiercely.

Poindexter nodded heavily in fear. Ember then turned herself and Poindexter intangible and flew right into the mirror!

The cool kids smirked while cracking their fists, ready to beat Danny (in Poindexter's body) up "Ready to be kicked into the hospital, Poindexter?" the leader said.

Danny still stood in his fighting stance, before he smirked and gave a 'Bring it on' gesture.

The three bullies groaned as they were about to attack "You've asked for it!"

Then all of the sudden, Ember and Poindexter flew out of locker 724 and smacked against the three bullies, knocking them to the floor!

All three bullies rubbed their heads as they tried to raise themselves. The leader called to the ones that knocked him and his friends down to the ground "Hey, you got a death wish-" but then he and his friends stared in shock when they realized it was Ember, standing up while looking at them. Horrified, they ran away while screaming "IT'S EMBER MCLAIN! LET'S GET OUT OF HERE!"

Ember rolled her eyes as she watched the bully projections flee in terror "Pff! Wimps."

She then turned herself, seeing before her Danny in Poindexter's body. Though he didn't had Danny's really body, she could still sense the same energy signature through their bond "Danny!" Ember happily called while running to him and embraced him. Danny returned the hug, but then looked angry at Poindexter in his body.

While Poindexter tried to get up, he was met with an angry Danny and Ember "You've had your fun." Danny said while crossing his arms "Now I want my body and my life back!"

Poindexter heavily nodded while turning intangible and phases into Danny. His body glows green and once again his face distorts into weird positions and falls on the floor. Now back in his own body, Danny phases out of Poindexter and flies into the air. Danny sighed in relief "That's better."

Ember was glad that the guy she likes had his body back, but then she glances angrily back at Poindexter and threatened "If you ever, EVER do that again-"

Poindexter waved his hands in apology "Yes, yes I understand! I'll never do it again, I swear!"

Ember gave a nod while Danny landed close to her. He then grabbed Poindexter by the collar and said with a serious tone "Now get this into your head, four-eyes. I may have pulled a prank today, but that boy Dash Baxter you thought was the victim is the TRUE bully around!"

Poindexter nodded "I-I-I get it! Ember just told me. I'm really sorry. It was a misunderstanding. I thought you were the other halfa that was chasing after Ember before she disappeared and came into the human world."

Danny then raised an eyebrow in confusion "Wait… the other halfa? You mean that there is somebody else who is also half-ghost?"

Poindexter nodded.

Ember was confused as well and asked Poindexter "Are you sure that that ghost that chased me two months ago was a half-ghost? The same ghost wearing a long white cape, blue skin, black hair, has vampiric teeth and is accompanied by three vulture ghosts?"

Poindexter nodded again "Yes, that's him."

Danny then looked confused at Ember. The ghost girl stated "I didn't know that he was half-ghost alright? Otherwise I would have told you that from the beginning, dipstick."

Danny understood and released Poindexter. While he and Ember walked back to the small mirror, Danny glared at Poindexter, telling "When we're back, Poindexter, we're gonna have a serious talk about knowing the difference between a bully and the victim." Both him and Ember became intangible and flew into the mirror back into the human world.

Poindexter felt ashamed. As he was more bullied than any other student, he should've realized that all that Danny was doing was to defend nerds and defending Ember's honor. He hoped that Ember would forgive him and won't leave him to his fate after what he had done.

Suddenly, a group of students walked up behind him "Hey, nerd!" Poindexter looked worriedly behind him, knowing already that he'll be bullied again. But instead, he saw some students smiling at him, with a football player giving him a thumps up "Nice job standing up against Pieterson and his gang."

A greasy boy nodded "Who'd have thought you had it in you?"

"You wanna grab an egg cream?" a redhead girl offered.

Poindexter had no idea where all this kindness came from, or even knowing that he had beaten up someone. But remembering he'd taken over Danny's body might have caused that Pieterson was being beaten back.

Poindexter smiled before closing his locker "Sure, I'd like an egg cream." and walked away with the students.

Back in the human world…

Danny and Ember flew out of locker 724 and landed on the ground. While Danny transformed back into his human form, Ember reactivated her human disguise belt. Danny gave her a smile "Thanks for getting me out of Poindexter's realm, Em."

"No problem, dipstick. You would've done the same for me."

Both blushed while looking away.

Just then, Tucker and Sam walked up to them. Both looking at Danny, not sure if he was the real Danny "Danny?"

He nodded "Yep. The one and only, rocker Danny."

Sam and Tucker weren't so sure "Prove it." Sam said.

Thinking how he could convince them, Danny thought of the one thing that only Tucker knew about and told Sam "In second grade, Tucker threw up in your lunch box, but he told you that Ricky Marsh did it."

Tucker nervously waved his hands while Sam gasped before turning angry "What? I kicked him off the monkey bars that night!" she then points at Tucker, who gave a nervously smile "It was you?!"

Tucker and Sam then stopped in realization and looked back at Danny, who gave a grin before doing some air guitar. Both smiled and hugged him "Danny!"

After breaking the hug, Tucker asked "What happened to Poindexter?"

Ember answered while narrowing her eyes at the mirror inside locker 724 "Back in his own realm, where he'll stay for a little while longer."

Danny gave a nod before closing the locker and asked "So, have I missed since my little detour in 1950's Casper High?"

"Well…" Sam was about to answer.

"Miss Manson! Miss McLain!" Lancer suddenly called while marching over to the friend group, looking disappointed at both Sam and Ember "Might explaining where the frogs have gone to while somebody decided to celebrate 4th of July a bit earlier in the science lab?!"

Sam knew that Lancer had figured out that she'd released the frogs into the wild during the whole commotion in the bio lab, tried to tell "Oh that?! I can explain!"

"It's not what you think, Mr. Lancer!" Ember too tried to tell "We-"

"Although I cannot prove that it was the two of you who'd caused a lot of damage to one of our classrooms, I'm still holding you two responsible for the escaped frogs." Lancer told with a serious tone, making Sam and Ember look down.

Danny tried to cover for them by saying as he stepped forward "Mr. Lancer, all that Sam and Emily did was trying to save innocent animals from a cruel fate. Sure, learning about anatomy is something very important for all the students, but is that really worth the sacrifice of amphibious creatures who didn't harmed-"

Mr. Lancer then raised his hand "Let me finish, Mr. Fenton."

Danny gave a nod and stepped back, standing next to Ember.

Lancer continued "What I was trying to say before you interrupted me, Mr. Fenton, is that I've been rethinking about dissecting frogs."

"You do?" all four asked surprised.

Lancer then held out some papers "Well, after receiving dozens of complaining letters about animal rights, while also taking another look at one of Miss Manson's alternative ideas of dissecting frogs," he stated while holding up one of Sam's ordered mechanical frogs in his hand "I'm willing to overlook the escaped frogs." he then glanced back to Sam and Emily, fowming a little smile "Maybe the school can learn a thing or two about activism."

That Lancer was impressed after all about her idea for the mechanical frogs made Sam smile and Ember looking proud at her human friend.

Lancer then said to his students "Now, while the bio lab has been unavailable till all the damage has been fixed, the newly dissent lesson will be moved to a different class upstairs. Run along now."

All four were about to leave for the dissecting class of 'mechanical frogs' upstairs. But Danny was stopped by Lancer for a moment "Oh, Mr. Fenton," he held holds up a pencil and a notebook "About your resent request to get a new locker? If you want, I can assign you another one right now?"

Danny thought about that for a moment. Sure, he wanted a whole different locker after he was assigned to have the cursed locker 724. But after seeing how Poindexter still could provide as an ally to him and Ember while also providing info from the Ghost-Zone, he told his teacher "Actually, Mr. Lancer…?" he looked at Danny "I think I'm gonna keep the locker I have now."

Being a little surprised at first, Lancer gave a shrug while putting a stripe through his notebook "Very well. Then you can keep locker 724."

Danny gave a smile while going after his friends.

On the second floor, Maddie and Jack were searching every corner of the hallways.

Frustrated, Jack moved a printing machine out of the way "There's a ghost in here. I can feel it in my boots!" he only found under the printing machine some trash and a mouse that squeaked in fear after seeing a colossal Jack and ran away.

Maddie was using the Fenton finder to locate the ghost. It started to beep, making Maddie to turn towards the source: her son Danny. Maddie looked confused as the Fenton Finder reads 'GHOST!' "A ghost? That can't be right." She checked under the Fenton Finder if there was maybe a faulty wire "Hmm. Looks like we'll be staking out the school all night." Suddenly, the Fenton Finder picker up a different signal, coming very close!

Maddie turned the Finder and pointed at the source: A small little package lying behind a plant pot near the boy's bathroom.

Maddie approached it while carefully taking it from the floor, examining it "That's odd." she wandered while opening the package, only to reveal the Box Ghost!

"I am the Box Ghost!" he called out.

"GHOST!" Maddie and Jack yelled and took out their weapons. Maddie holding a plasma pistol and Jack his Fenton Gauntlets. The Box Ghost's eyes went wide before fleeing, with Jack and Maddie going after him.

The rest of the school day went as normal for the four friends. Surprisingly, Sam's alternate plan for dissecting 'mechanical frogs' was a success and nobody was grossed out, despite that the mechanical frogs sounded a bit annoying with their mechanical voices.

All walked out of the school, with Sam saying proudly "I knew my alternate plan would work!"

"It sure did," Tucker for this once agreed with Sam but honestly said while all stopped "Although I think next time you should order 'waterproof' mechanical frogs, Sam?"

Sam gave a shrug "I'll keep that in mind next time." She then glanced at Danny. Trying to hide her blush asked him "So, uhm… should we all head for the Nasty Burger?"

It did sounded tempting to Danny, but he and Ember had still some business to take care off with Poindexter "Maybe later, Sam. Me and Ember still have a bone to pick with Poindexter."

Tucker gave a shrug "Suit yourself. You know where to find us."

Both Danny and Ember nodded, before checking their surroundings if they were alone and transformed into their ghost forms and turned intangible as they flew inside the school.

As Sam and Tucker headed to the Nasty Burger, Tucker asked Sam with a smirk on his face "So… you play the drums, Sam?"

"What?!" Sam asked shocked "Who told you that?!"

"Danny did."

Sam sighed "Ugh. I figured he would."

Then Tucker asked confused "But I don't understand. I mean, we never saw you playing drums before."

"That's because I was keeping it to myself in order to blur out my parents." Sam explained

Tucker narrowed his eyes "First you don't tell us that your family is filthy rich and now you didn't told us that you play drums." He paused for a second, figuring why she was 'really' playing drums and asked with a smirk "You just said that to finally get Danny's attention, huh?"

Sam blushed really deep, trying to deny it "What? NO! I… I never said that I…" she glanced at Tucker, seeing by the look on his face and narrowing eyes that he wasn't stupid to figure that part out.

He then stated as they stopped before the traffic light "You gotta tell Danny someday that you're having a crush on him."

Sam sighed "I know, I know! It's just… anytime I want to tell him it's a bad timing and-"

Tucker interrupted him "Sam. You always say that it's a bad timing to tell him. You can't just chicken out of it for too long," the traffic light then turned green and both crossed the street "And it's not like Danny is going to be single forever. As the way that he's changed into the real him, it's only gonna be a matter of time before he gonna have a girlfriend."

"You don't know that!" Sam protested.

Both stopped after crossing the street, with Tucker telling Sam "I think I do, Sam. Danny is more confident than we've seen him before and doesn't get scared anymore if it comes to talking to girls or standing up for himself or for others against Dash. Trust me, if you don't tell him now, it's too late."

While they walked further, Sam looked down with a sad look on her face. Tucker was right. Danny's embracing his true self will make him more attractive to the other girls. She had spotted Danny talking with some girls already this week and it sickened her. She was of course glad to hear from Danny that he wasn't really into them as they only liked him for his looks, but it will make Danny to decide to make the first step to a girl that might interest him. Sam felt so stupid 'Gash darn it! I gotta tell him someday. But how…?'

An hour later, inside Poindexter's realm…

Danny and Ember sat with Poindexter at one of the tables in the cafeteria of Poindexter's realm. Nobody was there, just the three of them. What made it easier for them to talk. The whole hour, Danny and Ember told Poindexter that his actions were wrong had could have caused even more damage than he'd anticipated. Ember was also very disappointed in her ally, as what he did to the guy she liked placed their alliance on thin ice. Poindexter kept apologizing for his actions and promised he won't do it again. Eventually, Danny and Ember forgave him, but only if he learns to finally see the difference between the REAL bullies and the REAL victims. Poindexter promised he would do his best and thanked them for allowing him to keep protecting the victims from bullying in the school.

The three walked back to Poindexter's locker 724, with Danny instructing the nerd ghost one more time "Now remember, you can keep coming in and provide protection to the nerds from the A-listers, but if you make any kind of big mistake again like you did to me today, I'm gonna break the mirror from the human side so you can never enter my world again."

Poindexter nodded "Yes, yes! I promise I'll do my best! I told you that a dozen times."

"And we will keep reminding you, Sidney, if you keep making these kind of mistakes." Ember added.

Poindexter then vowed by raising his right hand "I swear I won't do it again."

Both Danny and Ember gave a nod and said their goodbyes to Poindexter before flying through the mirror and entered back into present-day Casper High.

Danny and Ember both remained invisible as they flew out of the school. Along the way, both took a peek inside the partly destroyed science class, where Dash was scrubbing the black burned floor while groaning in annoyance "That unbelievable stink rotten no good of a Fentoast! I'll make him pay one day. I swear I'll make him pay one day!"

Danny just smirked at him as he said while flying away "Good luck with that, punk."

When both Danny and Ember phased out of the school, they turned back into their human form.

"What a day." Ember said

Danny gave a nod "Yeah. Standing up against bullies. Fighting the Box Ghost. Knocking some sense into Poindexter. All in the days work."

Ember giggled "That's true." She then turned and was about to leave "Let's join Sam and Tucker at the Nasty Bu-" suddenly, she was stopped by Danny who held her hand. She looked at him "Danny?"

"Do it now, Fenton!" Danny screamed in his mind "It's now or never! Say it! Tell her now!" Danny then finally asked "Ember… can we talk…?"

"Oh… uhm… sure."

Feeling that they were along and not sensing any ghosts nearby, Danny started to tell "I want to talk about… what happened two nights before… after we scared your evil stepmom… and we kissed?"

Ember felt the same regret of what she did that time as she looked down, before returning to look at Danny "Yeah. Danny… I'm sorry that I flew away after what had happened. It's not like that I didn't liked the kiss. I loved it! But… I was so confused about this increasing force that we feel with this… bond we share, that… I was scared of losing you… as I… began to feel… more than just a friendship."

Danny placed his hand on her cheek and said "I… I'm feeling the same thing, Ember. To be honest… I've always liked you."

A small smile formed at Ember's face "…Really?"

"Yes. Ever since we became friends and… I learned so much from you and we both fight evil ghosts… I realized that I've always felt these feelings for you, whether or not it's because of the bond we share…" He then placed his other hand on her cheek "Ember… I can't imagine my life without you…"

(This is the song 'Can't fight this feeling' from the band REO Speedwagon)

I can't fight this feeling any longer
And yet I'm still afraid to let it flow
What started out as friendship has grown stronger
I only wish I had the strength to let it show

Ember's eyes became watery after hearing that Danny felt the same way for her all along. They've sensed it before, but couldn't believe it first. Now, the one thing they've desired… had now come true.

But then, Ember became sad and looked away "But, Danny… I don't even know how this would work. I mean… I'm a ghost… I'll live on forever…. But you… you're still human and will… grow old… and die." the thought of losing Danny that way made her sob.

Danny embraced her close, while he shook his head "I refuse to believe that, Em." Both looked into each other's eyes, with Danny wiping away a tear from her left eye "This feeling… this love I deeply feel for you from the core of my soul… If that's what true love is, then… Then you're more alive to me than anything."

A smile formed at Ember.

It didn't matter to them if they were from the living… or the dead… they were in love… and that's far more stronger than anything in the universe.

I tell myself that I can't hold out forever
I said there is no reason for my fear
'Cause I feel so secure when we're together
You give my life direction
You make everything so clear

And even as I wander
I'm keeping you in sight
You're a candle in the window
On a cold, dark winter's night
And I'm getting closer than I ever thought I might!

Ember and Danny couldn't hold themselves any longer. They embraced… and kissed. That same feeling from two nights before came back, both feeling a thousands of sparkles ignited in their bodies. Neither cared anymore… all they wanted was each other.

As their kiss deepens, both felt something else… like fireworks going off through their souls. Their bond… was now eternal… that would last forever… even after death….

'Cause I can't fight this feeling anymore
I've forgotten what I started fightin' for
And if I have to crawl upon the floor
Come crashing through your door
Baby, I can't fight this feeling anymore!

A/N: Yes! YES YES YES YES! Danny and Ember are finally together!

Sorry I just couldn't help myself from ending the chapter right here. I hope I've satisfied you all with the waiting. I have to admit, writing the 'Talk' moment that Jack and Maddie shared with Danny felt kinda awkward, but luckily Danny has his sister to tell before about girl's emotions (I hope I wrote those right?)

The song that Ember was working on is one of the band Evanescence (totally love the band and their songs)

To be fair to you guys, the name I picked for Ember's sister, Amy is actually based on the name of the lead singer of Evanescence: Amy Lee. So in a way, my Ember version is like an heroic version of Amy Lee ;)

I wasn't really feeling that I wanted to put that Poindexter made Danny a cool kid for a few hours. That part of the show felt kinda dumb if you ask me. But Ember was there to safe that kinda embarrassment ;)

Well, you guys don't have to wait that long for the next chapter. I'm gonna start writing that one right away! If you want to ask which episode it is? Well, I'm planning to do the episode with Johnny 13 and Kitty a bit sooner (for obvious reasons) and it'll have a different tittle and a whole different ending, and also… what will Sam think when she finds out that the boy she likes is already in a relationship with Ember?

Find that out in the next chapter of 'The Flame and the Phantom'

Rate and review and I'll see you guys very soon!
