Ember is not evil and helps Danny from the beginning defending Amity Park against the evil ghosts. How will this change everything, as Ember and Danny's friendship slowly grows into something more? Follows the same episodes of the tv-show, with some episodes being altered and adding a few of my own. Expect some plot twists and alternate pairings as well.

10. Bitter Reunions

THE FLAME AND THE PHANTOM in:

BITTER REUNIONS

Thursday afternoon, Casper High…

(May 13th, 2004)

The school bell rings, signaling the students that it was lunch break. As all left their designated classrooms and some headed to the school's cafeteria, Tucker and Sam were waiting in the hallway for Danny and Ember, with Danny having a different class while Ember had an extra test for Chemistry class to get her grades up for her report card.

While Tucker puts his books back inside his locker, Sam saw Danny and Ember (in her human disguise) walking up to them. Ember, while holding her the results of her extra chemistry test in her hands, wasn't looking happy but rather disappointed at herself.

Sam felt that this wasn't good, so she asked Ember when she and Danny came up to her "How did the test go?"

Ember showed the paper with the test result "I got a 'D', again." she said with a discouraged look on her face.

Danny puts his arm around her and rubs her shoulder "Hey, you gave your best shot, Em. It's okay."

Sam felt sorry for her "Oh, geez, Emily."

Ember then sighed with frustration "Aaargh! I hate chemistry class! No matter how hard I try, I always fail at it!"

"But… I thought Danny was helping you with studying?" Sam wandered.

Tucker, who joined them, teased Danny and Ember "Sounds more like you two lovebirds were studying… while making out?"

Danny frowned at him "That's none of your business, Tuck. And for your information, we've been very serious studying this week and I did all I could to help her."

Ember looked at her failed grade one more time, before throwing it to the ground "Oh, why do I even bother!? I mean, it's not like that I'll end up with a bad grade for one class that it'll affect my final examens, right?"

Just as Danny was about to agree with his girlfriend, Jazz suddenly came up to them, saying "That's where you're wrong, Emily." All looked surprised at Danny's older sister, not expecting her to join the conversation "All your classes are being watched, including for this year." She then pulled her with one arm around her with a happy smile while showing a long list that she's made as a schedule for both Friday and the weekend for studying and tutoring Ember "Which is why I'm going to tutor you for the next four days!"

"Wait… what?!" Ember asked in surprise.

Lancer then came up to them, confirming Jazz of being chosen to be Ember's tutor for chemistry class "That's correct, Miss McLain. As it seems that my extra lessons after school don't help to get your grades up, I've personally asked Miss Fenton over here to help you finally understanding chemistry. And as Miss Fenton has helped so many of my fellow students to get better at their classes, I'm sure that she will be able to help you around. So, study hard and listen very well to her teachings, Miss McLain, as the next chemistry test this coming Monday and the many other tests for the coming weeks will determine your final grade for this year." Lancer then walked away with a smile on his face, being sure that Jazz was able to get Ember's grades up.

Jazz patted Ember's shoulder as she told what was on the list "Okay, now first off, right after school, we'll be having 1 hour of extra lessons and then go straight to the library for several hours of chemistry studying. All clear?" she asked, but before Ember could answer, Jazz said "Good. I'll see you later today. Not to worry, with my help, we're gonna turn that D of yours into an A+!"

Jazz then left, but left a copy of her whole schedule for Ember to see anytime. Ember sighs with some annoyance "Ugh! And I thought that extra lessons after school was bad enough, but this is worse."

Danny was could feel her frustration of now being forced to do even more studying to get her grade up. He comforted her by softly stroking her hand, which seemed to calm Ember down as they glanced shortly to each other before looking away while blushing.

Ember then sighs "I hope your sister can really help me with chemistry, babypop."

Danny ensured her "Not to worry. Though Jazz can be annoying sometimes, she is really smart. I'm sure she can help you. I just don't get why my help wasn't enough?" he wandered.

Ember whispered to him while giving a small giggle "Perhaps we were paying more attention to each other than into our books…?" they both chuckled while moving on.

Near the hallway leading to the cafeteria, Danny, Ember and their friends stopped at the school main pinboard, which showed the many school announcements for the coming weeks and other ads from some of the school clubs.

Tucker looked at the big paper in the middle, saying: 100 years of Casper High Spirit – Big play coming up! More info following next week!

"Huh. So Casper High exists for 100 years now? And a big play is about to be performed after the summer vacation." Tucker told his friends.

Sam, Ember and Danny took a look at it too, with Danny teasing Tucker "Hey, maybe you can wear that dress from 'My Fair Lady' for the play after all?"

That made Sam and Ember to giggle, while Tucker frowned at Danny "Har har har. Very funny." But as he took a better look at the paper, he raised an eyebrow "That's odd. It doesn't say what kind of play its going to be."

Sam shrugged while saying in a sarcastic way "Pff! Probably an old fashioned play that's all about the 'great history of Casper High' or one of those plays of William Shakespeare. I'm super thrilled."

"I guess they'll tell us next week." Danny said before a bright purple paper behind another paper. Danny took the purple flyer, which said: Next week Saturday May 22nd: Casper High Talent show! Auditions on Wednesday 19th of May!

"Hey guys, check this out!" Danny called to his friends, who were about to leave but came back to him.

"What is it, Danny?" Sam wandered.

Danny held up the purple flyer while Ember said "There's a talent show next week Saturday! I almost forgot about it!"

Sam gave a nod to him "That's great guys. Maybe you can both join the talent show?"

Tucker agreed to that "Yeah, with both your guitar skills and singing, you two can definitely win that talent show."

Danny however had an even better idea "Well… I was actually thinking that… all four of us should go."

That surprised Sam and Tucker "Wait? All four of us?" Sam asked.

Ember nodded with some growing enthusiasm "Yeah! Sam, you can play the drums kit."

With Danny nodding and asked Tucker "And you can play piano, so you can do the keyboard!"

Tucker however was unsure about that "Uhm… I don't know, Danny. I mean, I haven't played piano or on the keyboard since I was 8."

Danny shrugged "So? It's never too late to catch up again." He then glanced at Sam "Right Sam?" mentioning that his embrace of his true inner rocker had inspired her to start playing the drum kit again.

Sam smiled as it did sound like a good idea "Hey, yeah. We can definitely form a band together!"

While Tucker was still unsure, Paulina and a few of her A-listers friends, including Star, walked up to them, with Paulina and the cheerleaders laughing at them for hearing that they decide to form a band.

"Hahahahahaha! The four of you, forming a band? What should we call your band then? 'The Freaks'? Hahahahahaha!" Paulina said while continuing laughing, followed by her cheerleader friends. However, only Star wasn't laughing as she thought that there was nothing wrong with Danny and his friends forming a band.

Danny, Sam and Tucker frowned at Paulina and the A-lister cheerleaders, with Tucker telling his piece of her mind after being triggered by the A-listers laughing at them "Just you wait, Paulina! We can show you and you that we can rock this joint!"

That remark did surprised Danny and Sam, but they felt proud at Tucker for standing up for himself.

Paulina chuckled as she stated "Oh yeah? Good luck with that, Foley. Just to let you all know, me and my friends will be joining the talent show too. Right ladies?" she asked her cheerleader friends, who all nodded "And another thing: I doubt you will stand any chance against me, as I've participated in every school talent show since 5th grade and I've won them all ever since. So, good luck with humiliating yourselves, which is more fitting for first class losers like yourselves." She finished with a smirk and walked away with her friends, who were all chuckling, except for Star.

Ember was not going to take that and called to Paulina "Yeah?! Well, we can play music better that what your parents can buy you… you… YOU SPOILED TEENAGE LATINO STEREOTYPE!"

All the other students around Ember gasped when Ember insulted Paulina like that, making Paulina to stop and clenched her fists while frowning at Ember "Why you…!"

Not wanting to things to escalate, Star puts her arm around Paulina "Just ignore her, Paulina. The Californian rock-chick isn't worth it." and walks away with her, followed by the cheerleaders who all glared at Ember and her friends.

While Tucker gave Ember a thumps up, Sam proudly pats Ember's shoulder "Nicely said, Em. I bet that that shallow bitch didn't see that one coming."

Danny nodded "Yeah. Even I couldn't have come up with that insult to Paulina." he takes Ember's hand as they walked into the cafeteria.

Tucker felt enthusiastic that they served great food this time "Let's get some spareribs!"

"Tucker! Don't you know that-" Sam nearly was about to say how bad pork is for your health, she kept herself as she'd promised to accept people's choices, even that of Tucker's "Uhh… never mind. As long as they have a side-salad, I'm okay with that."

Danny, Ember and Tucker were glad to see some chances into their goth friend and wouldn't force anyone into her believes anymore.

In the other hallway, Paulina angrily walks into the girl's bathroom, followed by her cheerleader friends and Star "Why that unbelievable… fucking rock-chick! Ugh! The nerve she has to call me like that!" Paulina finishes while readjusting her makeup.

One cheerleader, an Afro-American girl named Ashley, agreed with Paulina "You bet. That Californian loser needs to learn her place when she's approached by the A-listers."

While the others nodded in agreement, Star tried to say "Well… honestly, they-"

"Oh don't you worry." Paulina said with an evil smile on her face while putting some more mascara "I have the perfect plan to teach that rock-loser a little lesson."

"What are you planning, Paulina?" the second cheerleader named, Brittany asked.

Paulina returned her glance to her friends and instructed "Meet me at the cooking classroom in a few hours. I'm going to make for McLame a little 'surprise'."

Star didn't liked the sound of that.

A few hours later, in the cooking classroom…

Paulina was busy on making something in the oven. When Star, Valerie and Paulina's cheerleader friends entered the classroom, Star asked while she sniffed in the air, smelling something nice "Hmmm. Black berry pie."

Paulina nodded as a timer went off, which Paulina turned off while opening the stove, taking out a freshly baked black berry pie.

The others were confused at what Paulina's plan was, so Ashley asked "It's… nice to show us what you baked, Paulina. But what has this got to do with your little plan of getting payback at McLame?"

Paulina formed a smirk as she took out a spring, tied to a little trap that she made a nerd to make for her "You'll see."

A few minutes later…

While standing in one of the hallways, Paulina had explained her 'little surprise' for the rock-loser to her fellow A-Listers. The other cheerleader A-listers all chuckled, joined by Dale and two other jocks, who were eager to take their part in the prank. Kwan just shrugged, while Star showed some uncertainty if this wasn't going a little bit too far.

Brittany held up a video camera to capture the whole moment "Oh, this is genius, Paulina! This'll make her regret for calling you a Latino stereotype."

Ashley nodded "This will make the yearbook 'extra special'." She finished with a chuckle.

Paulina nodded as she instructed Dale, Kwan and the other jocks "Okay. You all distract any teachers from going into the hallway where McLame's locker is."

Dale and the other jocks nodded and went to their places, followed by Kwan.

While Star looked the other way, Paulina suddenly hands over the pie and the spring mechanism into Star's arms "And you," Paulina told Star "You're going to put the 'makeover pie' into that loser's locker."

"Me?" Star asked with a surprised look.

Paulina then took a small bobby pin and gave it to Star too "Here, use this to open her locker. You do know how to do it, right?"

"Uhh… ye-yeah. I guess… but-" Star stuttered.

"Good. Then go for it, girlfriend." Paulina said while pushing Star forward a few feet.

Star looked down the hallway, seeing no students while Dale and his jock friends at the other side gave her a thumps up while causing a distraction to prevent Lancer or a few more students from going further.

The ghost nerd, Sidney Poindexter, phased his head out of the wall, peaking down at the A-listers. He'd heard everything that they were saying and began to frown "Bullies." And then phased back into the wall.

Star looked down the pie spring trap and walked forward, heading to Ember's locker. When she made it to the locker, she puts the pie and the spring mechanism down and used Paulina's bobby pin to open Ember's locker, opening it and puts the 'little surprise' in place.

Once it was all done, she gave a nod to Dale, signaling that all was set and then nodded to Paulina and the others.

Star sighed, trying to remain positive and said to herself with a smile "Mission accomplished." And walked away. But as she went around the corner, she was starting to doubt and peeked around the corner, watching to let the whole prank to unfold.

While Lancer dealt with the little situation in the other hallway, the other students bypassed them and entered the hallway. Ember was among them and was only halfway from her locker before being called by Jazz "Hey, Emily! Wait up!"

Ember sighed while turning over to Jazz, listening to her while telling about all she should learn and pay attention to while showing Ember the many books they were gonna use.

At that moment, Star was having second thoughts about this. Troubled in her mind what to do, she started mentally think 'Ooooh, I can't just let her be humiliated like that. But… I'm part of the A-listers and I'm very popular right now, just like my mother when she was in school. But… does Emily really deserve this kind of treatment? But if I stop her, maybe Paulina doesn't want to be my friend anymore and I'll never have any friends. Oh, what do I do?! What do I do?! What do I do?!'

Poindexter, while remaining invisible, was about to teach Star a lesson for trying to bully Ember, but seeing how troubled she was in her mind, he raised an eyebrow at her, wandering what troubled her.

Struggling in her thoughts so hard, Star suddenly heard a little voice in her head, saying "You're not just gonna let Emily being humiliated like that, are you?"

Star looked around her where that voice came from. And in a white poof at her left shoulder, appeared a smaller version of herself, wearing a long white dress, had angel wings and a hallow above her head.

"My shoulder angel?" Star asked to the little version of herself on her left shoulder, clearly being her shoulder angel.

Star Angel gave a nod and was about to say some wise words, but was interrupted by a different, more sinister voice "Ha! Don't listen to that skank." In a small fire, appeared another small version of Star on her right shoulder, wearing a sexy red cleavage dress, had devil's horns, a devil's tail and held a pitchfork in her right hand, clearly being Star's shoulder devil "She's trying to lead you down the path or righteousness." Star Devil then smirked of what she had to offer "I'm gonna lead you down the path that rocks."

Star angel rolled her eyes and wanted to dismiss Star Devil "Oh, come off it."

Star devil fired back "You come off it!"

"You."

"You!"

"You!"

"You infinity." Star devil finally said with a grin, making Star Angel to groan in annoyance.

Star Devil made her pitchfork disappear in a fire and revealed a small list and told Star "Listen up, Star. I got three reasons why you should just walk away and let Emily McLain being humiliated. Number 1," she then teased Star Angel "Look at that skank, holding that sissy stringy music thing."

Star Anger frowned at Star Devil and stated while holding up her small music instrument "We've been through this. It's a HARP, and you know it."

Star Devil grinned while making her small paper disappear "Oh, right. That's a harp… and that's your momma's dress." She finished by pointing at Star Angel's dress.

Star Angel crossed her arms "THIS is the latest fashion in Heaven, thank you very much."

Star Devil shrugged while she stood on one hand "Reason number 2. Look what I can do. Ha ha ha!"

This whole ordeal didn't make any sense to Star and said to her 'imaginable shoulder angel and devil' "But… what does that have to do with anything?"

Star Angel shook her head, seeing Star Devil had a point "No, no. She's got a point."

Not sure if this was helping her, Star told her shoulder angel and shoulder devil "Listen, you two. You're sort of confusing me, so… begone! Uh… Shazam! Or, uh… you know? However I get rid of you guys."

Star Devil shrugged "That'll work." and both she and Star Angel vanished in a poof of smoke.

Poindexter scratched his head at seeing Star talking to herself.

Star gazed back at Ember, who was handed a pile of chemistry books from Jazz and said with a smile "See you soon at the science room for your extra portion of chemistry lessons, from me!" Jazz then proudly walked away.

Ember narrowed her eyes while looking at the pile of books in her hands "This is going to be a LONG weekend." She then walked over to her locker, putting the pile of chemistry books down and her backpack.

Star had to make her decision fast.

Poindexter was this close to intervene.

When Ember was about to insert her small key on the lock of her locker, Star gasped and raced towards her, surprising Poindexter.

In slow motion… Ember slowly opened her locker. The mechanism of the pie spring was about to go off any second. But then… Star quickly pushed Ember out of the way, just before the pie was launched out the locker, hitting Star in the face!

Many students looked in surprise what just happened, but after a few seconds all laughed at Star for being covered in black berry pie.

Ember was very surprised at seeing this. Star felt embarrassed, while Paulina and the other cheerleaders saw what Star had just done, which made Paulina even more angrier as Star had now ruined her chance to humiliate the rock-chick.

While Ember tried to think why Star out of all people would so this for her. But then turned to the other students who were still laughing at Star while she tried to remove all the black berry pie fluids off of her.

"ALLRIGHT, EVERYONE, BREAK IT UP! YOU HAD YOUR LAUGH, NOW GET LOST, ASSWIPES BEFORE I KICK ALL YOUR ASSES TO THE NEXT CENTURY!" Ember yelled out to the students, making them to stop laughing before they all ran away in fear.

Ember then glanced back to Star, who was looking down, being ashamed of herself and then ran away, leaving a still confused Ember behind.

Danny, who'd sensed Ember's anger before it lessened, ran into the hallway, finding his girlfriend standing before her locker and some pieces of pie around the floor "Em! What happened here?"

Ember glanced at Danny, who walked over to her and stated "I was just about to open my locker, but then Star pushed me out of the way and was suddenly splattered in her face with pie."

"Really?"

Ember nodded while she and Danny then glanced back at her locker, checking the spring mechanism "Who the hell had placed this in my locker? And how did Star know that I was about to get pranked?"

Danny frowned while taking the spring mechanism out of her locker "It's probably one of the A-listers who did this."

That was when Poindexter appeared and became visible in front of Danny and Ember "You couldn't be more correct, Daniel."

"Poindexter?" Danny asked "You know who did this?"

Poindexter nodded as he stated "It was that lady of Mexican descent who pulled this off."

"Paulina?" Ember asked before she frowned "I should have guessed it was that shallow bitch who would try something like this."

Poindexter nodded again but then added "But it wasn't her who did it. She made her not so intelligent friend to put that black berry pie and that… catapult-thingy in your locker. The one that saved you from a hurtful humiliation in front of all the students."

That made Ember and Danny even more surprised "Wait. Star did this? And she prevented me from getting pranked?" Ember asked "But why?"

Poindexter shrugged "I'm not really sure, but I say she was having an inner conflict about this and decided instead to take the humiliation as a human shield. Guess at least one of the bullies is not beyond redemption, huh?" he finished with a smile before leaving "Well, I should get going. Time for Sidney Poindexter to go on his daily school routine to protect another innocent student." He became intangible and flew up the ceiling, phasing through it.

Danny and Ember shared a short glance, nearly not believing that Star had second thoughts about pranking another victim. Ember then glanced to where Star had ran to and formed a smile 'Maybe… she's not so heartless as the other A-listers?'

"Emily!" Jazz called from the other way of the hallway "Are you coming? I want to start your tutoring as soon as possible to keep up with our schedule!"

Ember narrowed her eyes before glancing at Danny "Sorry, dipstick. I gotta go."

Danny shrugged "It's okay, Em." Both shared a kiss before Ember took the pile of books that Jazz had picked out for her "See you later." Danny told his girlfriend with a smile, making her smiling back at him while walking over to Jazz, beginning her long and boring session of tutoring with Danny's sister.

Inside one of the girl's bathroom's, Star was wiping her face with water, trying to get rid of all the pie pieces in her face and hair. She looked at herself in the mirror and began to sigh, thinking of the moment she got splashed in the face with the pie instead of Emily.

At that moment, the door to the girl's bathroom opened, revealing it was Valerie, who asked her friend "Star, what happened back there?"

Star sighed "I… uhm…"

But then, the door swung open, revealing a very angered Paulina, joined by Brittany and Ashley, who both crossed their arms.

"STAR!" Paulina angrily marched over to her blond friend, who looked a bit scared "What the FUCK was that!? Everything was set and everything went smooth! But then you pushed that Californian loser out of the way and got pied yourself!"

Star stuttered a bit "I… I-I-I ca-can explain, Paulina! I… had forgotten to put the… safety off… and… in all the hurry, I… slipped and accidentally pushed Emily over." she then nervously smiled, hoping Paulina would believe her little lie.

That surprised Paulina, before frowning again at her "Forgotten to… forgotten to- ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Why can't you do a little job, which is so very simple?!"

Ashley and Brittany both nodded, agreeing with Paulina.

Valerie held her arm over Star, supporting her "Paulina, it was a small mistake. It can happen to anyone."

Paulina groaned while trying to calm down "Ugh! You know what, fine, I believe you," that put a little relieved smile on Star's face, but then Paulina waved her finger at her, making her scared again "BUT, you better not screw things up again, Star, if you still want to be part of the popular kids."

Star nodded "Sure. It… won't happen again."

"You better!" Paulina nearly yelled at her, before taking a receipt out of her pocket and handed it over to Star "Now go and pick up my clothes from the dry cleaning. And don't let there be any wrinkles on my cheerleader outfit like last time!" she ordered Star, being all bossy at her.

Star sadly nodded while taking the receipt "Yes, Paulina."

Paulina nodded with an approving smile, seeing that her 'best friend' would still do things for her "Good. See you later at my place." Paulina then left the girl's bathroom, followed by Ashley and Brittany.

Star looked at the receipt in her hand, before glancing down at her messed up shirt "I should better chance myself." And left the bathroom too, followed by Valerie.

Valerie, while walking next to Star, said "Star, you don't have to keep doing things for Paulina all the time."

Star sadly shrugged "I know, but she's my best friend. And… if I want to remain popular, I better keep things cool between me and Paulina. Cause if I'm not, then… what would my mother think?"

Valerie sighed, understanding why Star wanted to make sure to remain part of the popular group by doing things for Paulina, to honor her mother's legacy as she too was the most popular girl in school when she was Star's age, just like Paulina now.

But then, Valerie wandered something and asked her "Star, are you sure you just slipped back there with McLain?"

Star didn't answer and nervously looked the other way "Well… I…"

"Wait!" Valerie said as she stopped, while grabbing Star's arm and dragged her to an empty hallway and asked "You pushed her out of the way on purpose? You didn't wanted her to be humiliated?"

Star moved a piece of her hair behind her ear, feeling awkwardly about this. But then sighed and honestly told "Well… yeah, I couldn't bare it to see her humiliated."

That surprised Valerie completely "What? But why? You heard what she called Paulina, right?"

"I know, but… does she really deserve to be treated like that. I mean, Paulina was the one who started to insult her and her friends while they were thinking to form a band for the school's talent show. Honestly, I thought it wasn't such a bad idea what they were doing."

Valerie couldn't believe her ears. Star had actually sabotaged Paulina's prank on Ember on purpose "Star, if Paulina hears about this, she's going to be pissed!"

Star hushed her in panic "ShhhhSSSHHH! Please, please, please, Valerie, don't tell this to Paulina! If she does hear about it, I-I-I-I…"

Valerie held her hands, ensuring her "Okay, okay, okay, calm down, Star. I promise I won't tell her or anyone."

At that very moment, Valerie saw someone walking over to them. It was the school-nurse, who was also Star's mother, Fiona Jones-Hill. Seeing Valerie's response to who came to them and hearing the same footsteps she recognized from a mile away, Star turned herself and said with a nervous smile to her mother "Oh… hey, mom! What's up?"

Fiona, with her long blond hair and slim posture, looked still very attractive for a 34 year old women, like her beauty had always been the same since she graduated. Fiona puts her hands in the pockets of her lab coat, saying "Hey sweetie. I heard that someone had spilled a pie all over you." She then took her hands out of her pockets and asked with a bit of concerning "You okay, sweetheart?"

Star sighed "I'm fine, mom." She then left with Valerie "I just need to chance my shirt. I'll see you later."

When Star left with Valerie to the girl's chancing room, Fiona placed her hands on her hips, looking with a bit of worry as her daughter had pushed herself so hard to be one of the popular kids at school, just like her. Fiona then sighed before going back to the nursing room "Oh Star… I just hope you won't become as cruel as I once was back in the day."

Later, that same evening, near the street where Fenton Works lies…

Danny was riding home down the streets on his electric scooter, having spent some time with his friends at Kitty and Johnny's apartment. He felt a bit sad that Ember couldn't be with them as she was under Jazz' tutelage and that his sister demanded no distractions for the rest of the weekend.

When Danny saw his home not too far in the distance, he smiled as he checked his watch, saying it was 9:57 PM "Almost home. And finally making it on time without any ghost detours to miss my ten o'clock curfew." But then he narrowed his eyes.

Suddenly, Danny's ghost sense goes off, feeling that ghosts were nearby. He brings his scooter to a stop and looks up the sky, spotting three vulture ghosts flying through the air and phased in and out of several houses, scaring the people inside while moving on.

Danny frowned "Oh, great." He quickly drives his scooter behind a van "Going ghost!" and transformed into his ghost form and flies up alongside the ghost vultures.

The vultures looked with a surprised look in their faces.

"Hey, you fellas look lost. Any chance of you to stop harassing people?" Danny called to them.

"Mind your own business, fancy pants ghost boy." One of the vulture ghosts said before the three of them flew down and phased into a bus. Danny followed them and phased into the bus too and lands before the vultures, ready to face them if they tried to attack him.

The second vulture then said to his other vultures "Hey, we've been searching around this state for nearly a week. We could have been in Florida by now. Ask for directions."

The first vulture narrowed at the second one "I know where I'm going!"

The third vulture disagreed "You so do not!" he then wandered and pointed his wing to Danny "Why don't we just ask him."

"Ask me what?" Danny wandered. But before he could get an answer, the vulture ghosts fly up, out of the bus. Danny follows them, demanding while ready to face them "You better tell me right now what you're doing here, or else…"

Seeing that it was pointless to escape him, the first vulture stated as he slowly flies towards Danny "We're on a search-and-destroy mission. Can you help us find and peck to death this guy here?" he then holds out a torn photo, the same one of a younger Jack Fenton that the vampiric ghost gave them.

"Dad?" Danny asked surprised after seeing it was his father they were after, making Danny to frown at them.

"Ah-ha, see? I told you he'd know where he is." The second ghost vulture said.

"As sure as hell I'm gonna let you guys get near my dad!" Danny yells as he swings and shoots a ghost ray at the first Vulture ghost, who barely dodged it.

"Nice try, kid." The first vulture said "Get him boys!"

The three vultures then quickly circles around Danny, ready to attack him.

Danny was ready to face them "Give it your best shot, guys! I'm a whiz at dodgeball!"

The three vulture ghosts then stopped circling around Danny and all charge at him, but jumps out of the way, causing the vultures to crash into each other. Danny smirked at them "Is that the best you got?"

That only made the ghost vultures more angry as they recovered from their daze and flew after Danny and drew out their sharp talons as they charged at him, but Danny quickly used his ghost shield, sending the vulture ghosts flying backwards! They flew again after him, who flies towards the clock tower.

Seeing it was almost ten O'clock, Danny had to end this fight fast and spins around the clock tower, making the vultures lose sight of him. Danny then phased through the clocktower and phases out on the other side and grabs the third vulture ghost's legs.

"Hey!" the third vulture shockingly calls, not expecting Danny to be this fast

"You know that old saying about a bird in the hand?" Danny asks before he spins the vulture ghost around and hits the other two with him and then throw him towards them, making them flee, having lost their fight with the ghost boy "Well, neither do I! And don't go messing any windshields on your way out of town!" Danny warned the vulture ghosts to better not coming back to Amity Park or trying to kill his father.

In all the panic, the first vulture ghost lost the torn picture of Jack. Danny catches it and looks at it, wandering "Why were those guys trying to waste Dad?" but then suddenly, the clock chimes 10. Danny looked surprised, before showing a troubled face "Shit. I'm late again!" he said as he quickly flew back to his scooter and transformed back to his human form while quickly getting back home.

Hoping his parents wouldn't notice him being late, Danny carefully opens the front door and peeks inside, seeing both his parents looking down at their son with their arms crossed, looking disappointed at him.

"You're late again, young man." Jack said.

Danny frowned with an annoyed look on his face "Aw c'mon! It's only 2 minutes!"

"10 o'clock is still 10 o'clock, Danny." Maddie said, not changing her mood. Danny sighed and was about to go upstairs to his room, but was stopped by his mother as he grabbed him by his jacket "Not so fast, young man! We need to talk."

Seeing there was no way he could escape another lecture, Danny was lead to the living room, making him to sit on the couch.

At that moment, Ember (in her human disguise) walked down the stairs, followed by Jazz. Ember was tired of learning nearly all day about chemistry together with Jazz, tutoring her. As soon as hers and Danny's eyes met, they began to smile. But seeing how seriously Maddie and Jack were, their smiles began to fade.

While Jack was working on a large green invention that looked like a giant hot water heater and Jazz was helping Ember to pick out a few books for her to pay attention to at home, Maddie began to talk very seriously to her son "Danny, this is becoming a problem. Lately you're constantly late coming home."

"Not to mention you're shirking from your chores." Said while peeking out around the invention before returning working on it.

"But I'm always on time back home!" Danny said, before reminding himself of how busy he was and did came late home lately "Well… except a few times this week."

"And shirking from your chores." Jack said again.

"You said chores already twice."

"I know, but when you're not doing it, I'm stuck with them." Jack said in a serious way.

Maddie sighed as she this time said in a more calm way "Look, Danny, we don't mind that you spend a lot of time with your friends or with your girlfriend, but when we all agree on which time your curfew is, your father and I expect you to keep it."

Danny sighed as he fired back "Look, I'm under a lot of pressure, okay?! And I need to blow of some steam! You two have no idea what It's like to be a kid today!"

Maddie wasn't falling for that "Come on, Danny. That's the oldest excuse in the book. There's nothing you're going through that your father and I didn't go through when we were your age."

While Danny leans his elbow against the armrest, he rolled his eyes, knowing clearly that his folks have no idea what he's going through "Yeah? Well, I beg to differ." He finished by frowning at them.

Ember crossed her arms while leaning to the wall, feeling as much about this as her boyfriend as his parents have no clue what he's going through.

Seeing what the problem was, Jazz puts one of the books she picked out on the kitchen table and walks over to his parents, saying "The reason Danny doesn't think you can relate to him is that you never take the time to tell him about your childhood."

"Jazz!" Danny said annoyingly.

"Have you ever told him how you met? About your first date?"

"Jazz!" Danny said even more annoyed.

"Where you went to college?" Jazz finished.

However, Jack and Maddie did thought about what their daughter said. Seeing that she had a point, Jack nodded "You know, Jasmine, that's a great idea!"

"It is?" Jazz asks with some confusion.

"What is?" Maddie and Danny asked at the same time.

"This is!" Jack says as he holds out an invitation to a college reunion party for the University of Wisconsin "You can come with your mother and I to our college reunion." Jack finished while pulling Maddie close to him, while she thought it was a good idea too and smiled.

"Wait… what?!" Danny asked surprised.

"Wisconsin?!" Jazz stunned.

Jack nodded with pride "Sure! My old pal Vlad is throwing a huge shindig there. We'll take the RV so the whole family can go together. You can learn more about your mother's and my college days, and while we drive, I can blather on about ghosts!"

"No wait!" Jazz quickly said as she waved her hands around, while Ember walked over to her boyfriend, who stood up from the couch. "I need to be here to tutor Emily for her chemistry test on Monday! If not, she could fail her class."

Maddie and Jack thought about it, with Maddie suggesting with a smile "Well… then why don't she come with us?"

That surprised Ember a bit "Come with you guys? To Wisconsin?"

Jack thought it was a great idea "Sure! While Jazz is tutoring you for your chemistry test, we can talk to you more about ghosts!"

Ember glanced at her boyfriend and then formed a smile, figuring that it was a good idea to keep up with her studying for chemistry… and being around her boyfriend. Danny could feel her desire to be with him, which made him to grin as he too looked forward to spend some more time with his ghost girlfriend.

At that moment, there was a knock on the door. From the front door, which was still halfway open, Kitty (in her human disguise) peeked inside and said with a smile "Knock knock! Sorry I'm late. I had a lot of paperwork to finish." She explained while coming inside "Ready to go home, sweety?" Kitty asked Ember.

Going along with Kitty being her fake mom, Ember asked "Mom, can I go with Danny and his family to Wisconsin this weekend?"

That made Kitty to raise her eyebrows "Wisconsin? What for?"

Jack stated while showing the invitation to the college reunion party "My old pal Vlad is throwing a college reunion and invited us to come this weekend."

Then Maddie added "But since Jazz is seriously tutoring Emily for the next coming chemistry test as she scores bad grades, we were thinking it would be nice she can come and join us?"

Kitty, pretending she was thinking about it (as a mother should), but already wouldn't mind as Ember is her best friend, Kitty formed a smile and agreed to it "Well… since Emily is still not performing well at chemistry class… I think that's not a bad idea after all! Sure, Emily can join you folks to Wisconsin."

Suddenly, Jack's invention began to ding and rumble, and the hose attached to it waves around and shoots green goo on Jazz's head, making her glare angrily while Ember and Danny tried to hold their laughter.

Jack raised his arms in victory "Haha! It works! I can't wait to blather on about that, too."

The next day, at Casper High…

(Friday, May 14th, 2004)

During lunch break, Danny told Ember and his friends about his encounter with the vulture ghosts who were searching to kill his father. This shocked Ember as those were the same Ghost Vultures that attacked her before she arrived in the human world during the Ghost-portal accident months ago. It also made her suspicious of why they were searching for her boyfriend's father. Though they should investigate this matter, she had too much on her head for the tests next week, including her most difficult class: Chemistry.

When the final school bell rings and all the students left their classes, Danny, along with his friends and girlfriend who held hands with him, walked through the hallway with Sam asking Danny after telling why he and Ember won't be around for the next few days "So, you two are going to spend the whole weekend in Wisconsin?"

Danny stopped at his locker and answered while opening it "Yeah, so that I have to constantly listen to my parent's childhood, when they dated, went to college." He then annoyingly sighs as he took his books out, clearing the way for Poindexter's mirror "I rather spend my weekend here in Amity Park, Ohio, than at some place in the middle of Wisconsin."

Ember formed a small smile as she leaned to the locker next to Danny, standing closet to him "Well… at least you have me around, babypop."

That brought a smile back on Danny's face "Yeah… that's true."

Tucker meanwhile was thinking about the band they want to form, despite still doubting about his keyboard skills "Say, if we want to form a band, we need a good name." he then suggested while Danny closed his locker and walked along with his friends out of school "What do you think of this name: 'The Tuckerinos'!"

Danny, Sam and Ember rolled their eyes as how stupid that sounded, with Danny saying "Oh please. What kind of rock band around the world would call themselves 'The Tuckerinos'?"

Ember nodded as they went out the front door "Yeah, we need a more cooler name. Something that truly reflects on who we are."

Danny nodded in agreement, before he saw his sister talking to the same guy she met at the library, Paul. Danny then saw his parents driving parking in front of the school with their Fenton Ghost RV, with Jack using the horn to call to Danny, Ember and Jazz that their leaving.

Danny sighed as he said to Sam and Tucker "Well, we gotta go. See you guys after the weekend." Ember gave a small wave and walked with Danny hand in hand to the Fenton RV. Jazz annoyingly walked over to her parents too, but stopped to glance for a moment to Paul, who gave her a small wave, making her to smile dreamingly and then stepped inside the RV, sitting next to Danny and Ember.

Seeing Jazz so dreamily, Danny teased his sister by saying "So, who's your new boyfriend?"

Jazz sighed annoyingly "Ugh! He's not my boyfriend. He's… just a friend… that I've met at the library."

Ember chuckled, thinking that Jazz was hiding that she actually likes Paul more than just a friend. But then reminded herself that her bag with all the things for the weekend was still at Kitty and Johnny's apartment "Oh wait! We still have to go to my place. I didn't took my stuff yet."

Maddie, who was sitting at the front passenger seat, ensured Ember as she held up her bag "Don't worry, Emily. Me and Jack went by your parents place before we picked you guys up and collected your bags." Maddie then placed down Ember's bag next to the rest of the Fenton's bags, including Ember's guitar, which was now inside a black guitar case.

As Jack drove the Fenton RV, Ember wandered ask she was a bit concerned if they'll be back on time, as the college reunion at Jack's old friend's place is on Sunday "But how are we going to be back on time before school starts again by Monday? What if I won't be back in time before the test?!"

Jazz ensured Ember with a smile "Calm down, Emily, as soon as the reunion is finished, we're all going back home. Besides, we all have the first 2 periods free before the tests, which gives us plenty of time to prepare before we're all back."

That did gave some relief to Ember. Danny then placed his hand on Ember's, which made them smile at each other.

After just a few minutes, while driving down the road, Jazz pulled out a book and handed it over to Ember "Okay, Emily, since I do NOT want to chance our schedule because of the road trip, we better start learning right now." Jazz finished while taking out a book herself.

Ember sighed as she chanced places with Danny and took a different book that Jazz gave her. Both opened it and started studying, with Danny trying to help his girlfriend, but Jazz was clearly better at this than her brother.

Knowing that he better get prepared too, Danny took his notebook, along with an English book from his backpack and tried to study as well, but also had to listen to some stories of his parents when they were his age.

After an hour on the road, while Maddie gave her husband directions while reading the map, Jazz couldn't focus as driving inside the Fenton Ghost RV was not as quiet as in her room or in the library and began to speak out her frustration to her brother "This is ridiculous! You goof up, and I have to spend the rest of the weekend jammed in the Fenton Ghost RV."

Danny frowned back at his sister and reminded her "Hey! I'm not the one who suggested that Mom and Dad should talk more about their time at college."

"That's the Fenton Family Ghost Assault Vehicle, folks." Jack stated while showing what the specialized Fenton RV could do "Every button in this baby is a ghost's worst nightmare."

Ember showed some interest while going over to the front, where Jack showed her what kind of anti-ghost weapon the RV had in its arsenal. He placed the RV into autopilot before he pressed a button, making the steering wheel converting into a weapons-tracker battle mode.

"Cool." Ember said, being impressed.

Jack gave a nod, while Maddie showed what it could do "When facing ghosts, this one uses a laser cannon where you can fire 3 different weapons: Energy beam, Lightning and Extoplasmic goo."

Jazz narrowed her eyes and reminded Ember as she held up their schedule "Emily, we have schedule to keep up."

Danny formed a grin while pointing to where the schedule said 16:00 – 16:30: Break time "I believe it says; Break Time, and since it's 16:03," he said while checking his watch "That means it's time for a break!" he tossed his book away and takes out his newly bought portable CD-player and new earphones. Ember sat on his lap while both took a earphone and puts it into one of their ears and they started listening to the new CD that Danny had bought.

Jazz just sighed and took out a normal book to read.

While both Ember and Danny sat in embrace while listening to Rock music, Ember felt they could use some fresh air "It's a bit stuffy in here, don't you think, Danny?"

Danny nodded and searched for the right button to open a window "You're right. Which of these buttons opens the window again?"

"Don't press any buttons!" Jazz calls, not wanting her brother to activate any weapons from the RV, but was too late.

Suddenly, several weapons appear on the outside of the Ghost Assault Vehicle. A laser shoots chunk out of a tree, another weapons freezes a bird mid-air, causing it to fall, and another laser zaps a guy talking on his cell phone while driving. Then, a hose waves around and shoots green goo on Jazz's head, again.

Ember giggled, while Danny tried to hold his laughter.

Jazz glares at Danny "I'll get you for this."

A few hours later…

Finally, after some hours of driving, Jack pulled the RV over to a truck stop, which nearby had a restaurant. While everyone were stretching their legs, Jazz immediately went over to the restrooms of the restaurant to wash all the pieces of Ecto goo that were still in her hair. Some of the people thought it was strange that a redhead girl had some green colored goo in her hair, but Jazz tried her best to ignore them.

While Maddie was checking the map and Jack went to the restaurant to get a table for his family and their joining companion, Ember chuckled for a moment while playing a bit on her guitar inside the Fenton RV. Curiously, Danny asked his girlfriend while taking a bottle of water "What's so funny?" he asked before sipping some water.

Ember puts her guitar down and stated "How you made Ecto goo to splatter on Jazz's face was pretty funny."

Danny chuckled "Yeah, it was pretty funny. Though I think Jazz is going to be mad at me for the rest of the evening for it."

Ember gave a shrug when Maddie asked with a smile to Danny and Ember "Are you two coming? Jack managed to get a table for us."

Danny gave nod as he held hands with Ember "Sure, Mom."

While they walked together to the restaurant, Ember told her boyfriend "Honestly, when you let that ecto goo sprayed on Jazz's face, she wasn't as focused on tutoring me as usual."

That made Danny to show a bit worried look on his face "Oh? Is… is it bad?"

Ember smiled and shook her head "Actually, no. I was more thankful that you did that."

"Really? How come?"

"Trust me, if I was going to listen to her chemistry tutoring for another hour, I was gonna lose my mind." Ember said with a bit annoyance "Besides, I even have other classes to learn for when the tests are coming up next week."

Danny nodded "Yeah, that's true. Are you worried?"

"No, not so much as we've prepared for those together pretty well. It's only my chemistry class that I'm worried about."

Danny softly stroke her hand as they walked into the restaurant "Let's not think about that too much and just try and relax for a change?"

Ember felt a bit better after her boyfriend said that and rested her head on his shoulder.

After everyone sat at their designated table, the female waitress took their orders, with Jack ordering an orange juice and lots of fudge, Maddie a glass of water and a steak with some French fries, Jazz ordering water and a chicken-salad and Danny and Ember both ordering a diet coke and pancakes.

When the waitress came back after 40 minutes with their ordered meals and drinks, Jack said with a smile as he took a big bite from his fudge "Eat well everybody! I want the entire Fenton clan, Emily included, have their stomach filled and well rested when we meet Masters tomorrow."

Jazz was just about to take a bite from her chicken-salad, when she was surprised that Jack's old friend Vlad was actually Vlad Masters "Wait, wait, wait. Masters? As in Vlad Masters? Who was named Affluence Magazine's 'Billionaire of the Year'?" she held up a Affluence magazine which had a cover of Vlad Masters, looking with pride and holding his arms crossed while big letters said down the magazine cover: Vlad Masters – Billionaire of the Year.

"That's the guy!" Jack stated "In college, he was my best friend. We were very popular guys. Roommates, lab partners, we did everything together. Until the thick fingers of fate stuck themselves right in Vlad's eyes."

"What happened to him?" Ember asked, wandering what happened to Jack's old best friend.

*Flashback*

University of Wisconsin

(April 3rd, 1984.)

Inside one of the university's labs, 20 year old Jack, 19 year old Maddie and 21 year old Vlad, all three wearing lab coats, were working on a small proto-portal. While Maddie and Jack were pleased with their progress, Vlad was skeptical about this project, as their valuable time for science should have been spend on something way more important than a small portal that Jack claims would be a portal that would lead to what he called: The Ghost-Zone.

"I'm telling you, Jack, it won't work." Vlad stated, believing that this invention won't work.

"Bogus, V-Man!" Jack ensured his best friend "It totally will! This Proto-Portal is guaranteed to bust open the wall into the ghost dimension."

As Maddie shared Jack's believes that ghosts do exists, she forms a smile, feeling deep down that she and her two friends are going to make something historic.

While Vlad peers through the portal for a better look, though still pessimistic that this portal would actually open a way into the Ghost-Zone, Jack and Maddie walk over to another table, where Maddie looks over a stack of papers with calculations and Jack picks up the remote to activate the proto-portal.

But as Maddie reads the calculations on the paper, she notices that there was something wrong with it "Jack, these calculations aren't right-"

"BANZAI!" Jack yelled, not paying attention to what Maddie said and activates the self-made generator by using the remote, turning on the portal and swirls green in its center, which surprises Vlad.

"I… I can't believe it, Jack." Vlad said "It's working. It's actually-" but suddenly the portal shoots out an ectoplasmic blast and hits Vlad right in the face! "AAAAAAH! Bogus!"

When the blast stops, Vlad grabs his face with both hands cause of the pain. His black hair had turned white and green smoke came off his head. Jack and Maddie looked worried if their friend was alright. But as Vlad turns towards Maddie and Jack and drops his hands, they gasped of what happened to Vlad.

Wanting to see what had happened to him, Vlad took out a mirror from a desk, seeing his hair had turned white, his face covered with big pimples and his eyes glowing an electric blue, horrifying him "AAAAAAAAAAAH!" Vlad ran out of the lab, leaving a worried Jack and Maddie behind.

End of flashback…

Jack sighs as he remembered how Vlad reacted what had happened to him after the Proto-Portal incident "Vlad was hospitalized with a horrible case of ecto-acne. It devastated him… and killed his social life. We haven't spoken since that day." Jack then formed a smile again, being naïve "But the good news is, I think after all these years, he's finally forgiven me."

Ember felt bad for Vlad Masters that he had to spend years in the hospital for what happened to him after Jack's failed experiment. Both she and Danny shared a worried look, hoping that Jack was right and Vlad had indeed forgiven him for what happened to him.

When everyone had finished their meals and Jack had paid the bill, the whole group walked out of the restaurant, heading back to the Fenton Ghost RV. Jack headed in first, to pack out the sleeping bags for everyone so they could all sleep in the back of the RV.

Maddie however was thinking about a different solution, as the RV wasn't big enough for all of them as Emily has joined them for the trip to Wisconsin. She then remembered something she saw on the map and asked her husband "Jack dear, are you sure that we have enough space for all five of us in the car?"

Jack at first thought that it was okay and everyone would have plenty of space to sleep. But remembering what they'd discussed with the marriage counselor a few days ago, he started to see that perhaps Maddie was right and there wasn't enough space for all "Hmmmm… maybe you're right, Maddie." Jack then got an idea "Hey, we still have some tents in the back. Perhaps we can use those?"

Maddie agreed to that and stated while taking out the map and pointed to a location not far from them "There is a camping ground less than an half-hour drive from here. We can set up the tents there and spend the night."

Jack agreed to that plan "Sounds good to me." As he stepped in at the driving seat, he called to everyone else "Get in everyone."

Along the way, Ember said to Danny "You know, your folks are doing better after the whole 'forgetting their anniversary'."

Danny nodded "Yeah. The marriage counseling has really paid off. Although it's a long way ahead, I'm still glad that they sorted out and are not gonna split."

A few hours later…

After having found the camping site, Jack parked the RV at the place where they could spend the night. Jack and Maddie had set up the three tents for Jazz, Danny and Ember to use separately.

While Danny was putting his sleeping bag in his tent, he saw both Jazz and Ember coming back from the restrooms, with Ember having loosened her hair from her ponytail and now covered most of her back. Danny noticed that while Ember seemed to be fine, Jazz was shivering as she had it cold.

"You okay, Jazz?" Danny asked her as he stepped out of his tent.

Jazz annoyingly answered "Of course I'm alright! That is if there was enough hot water left in the restrooms!"

Ember raised an eyebrow "Really? My shower was working fine." But then some sparkling sound was heard.

"What was that?" Jazz asked "A faulty wire?"

Ember worriedly looked at her waist, hearing that that sparkling came from her Fenton Ghost-Disguise belt that she was wearing under her pajamas. Nearly going to malfunction, Ember tried to find an excuse "Uhhh… I… gotta go!" and ran inside her tent and closed the zip while she changed back into her ghost form without anyone to see.

Wandering what was bothering Ember, Jazz and Maddie, who'd seen her going into her tent in panic, walked over to her tent, with Jazz asking "Emily, you okay in there?"

Danny came over too, while Ember nearly stuttered while trying to find an excuse "Uhh-Uh-uh… Yeah! I'm… no… I'm not okay."

Danny could sense that it was something bad that bothered Ember, so he asked her "What's going on, Em? Need some help?"

"NO!" Ember quickly answered, surprising everyone. But then she answered "I… have a little… accident."

"Accident?" Maddie wandered "You mean, something really bad? You need some spare clothes or something?"

"No no no, not that Mrs. Fenton. I…" a few seconds of silence passed before Ember finally answered "…forgot my tampons."

Danny could sense that wasn't the real case and wandered what it was, but Maddie and Jazz seemed to understand with Maddie saying "Ahhh, right. Don't worry, you can use some of mine or Jazz's."

Jazz nodded and went to her over to her tent to get some tampons for Ember from her bag. When she returned, she held the tampons to the zip, which Ember opened it a little bit for only her hand to show and took the tampons before closing it.

"You sure you don't need any spare clothes, or something?" Maddie wandered.

Ember answered back by saying "Oh, no no no, I'm okay. Thanks… Jazz."

"You're welcome." Jazz said before going into her tent "Goodnight." And closed the zip behind her, while Maddie went to sleep with Jack in the RV.

Being sure if they were gone, Ember whispered to her boyfriend "Are they gone?"

Danny nodded and sat on a knee, close to the zip of Ember's tent "Yeah, they're gone. But what's wrong Ember?"

Ember opened the zip, revealing she was in her ghost form and had a worried look on her face "My belt!" she whispered in near panic "It's malfunctioning!"

Seeing that this could be bad, Danny stepped inside her tent and close the zip behind him.

"What happened to it?" Danny asked as he took her disguise belt and took a look at it.

"I don't know. I guess it got a bit wet while I was taking as shower."

Danny nodded in understanding while opening the belt buckle, seeing that nothing was severely broken because of the moister. He took a tissue and cleaned a bit, while using his Swiss pocket knife to turn a few chips.

After it was fixed he closed the buckle and puts it down "It's not severely broken, so that's a relief. I think its best you don't use it until the morning."

Ember nodded and planted a kiss on his cheek "Thanks, babypop."

"You're welcome, babe."

They both shared a long soft kiss, which slowly became more passionate as both their tongues made contact and danced in their mouths like a tango while Ember's flaming hair flared up, but didn't burn anything.

However, after 5 minutes, Danny slowly broke the kiss and looked into her eyes. He was thinking that though he like every moment he shared with Ember, he hoped that neither his parents or his sister would interrupt them and tell they should go into their separate tents.

Ember could sense her boyfriend's bit of worry "What's wrong?"

Danny sighed "It's my parents… and my sister… I'm a bit worried that they would come in here and say-"

Ember held her finger on his mouth, making him stop talking as she asked with a grin "Has that stopped you from anything?"

Danny thought for a few seconds and answered with a similar grin "Nothing will keep me away from you."

Danny and Ember then lied down on Ember's sleeping bag, while sharing many kisses.

After what seemed like a half hour, Ember lied on Danny's chest while he planted a kiss on Ember's head, making her to softly sigh. Ember liked this moment between them, and Danny too. The two didn't say a word and just lied together in embrace, while sharing a few smiles form time to time and Danny stroking her soft warm hair. It wasn't long before they began to close their eyes and fell asleep.

The next morning…

(Saturday, May 15th, 2004)

Ember opened her eyes, giving a soft moan as she slowly broke her embrace with her boyfriend, who was still asleep. After taking the Fenton Ghost-Disguise belt and placed it around her waist, Ember pressed the logo and was able to activate her human disguise again. She felt relieved and stepped out of her tent as she had to go to the restroom.

A few minutes later, Jazz had woken up and came out of her tent. She yawned and stretched her arms before she went over to Danny's tent, having noticed that his tent was still wide open and his sleeping bag was unslept "Hmmmm. Where could he be?" Jazz wandered.

Her question was answered when the zip of Ember's tent opened, revealing Danny as he stepped out of his girlfriend's tent.

Jazz was both shocked and confused of why Danny was inside Ember's tent "Danny? What were you doing in Emily's tent?"

Danny yawned as he answered while still partly being sleepy "Huh? Oh…!" as soon he realized what happened, he laughed a bit "Hahahahaha. I must have fallen asleep with Em last night."

Being suspicious about this, Jazz asked her brother with some seriousness "Did you two had sex?"

That surprised Danny "What? No!" but then he became angry that Jazz asked him that "Besides, what me and my girlfriend do is none of your business!"

Jazz gasped at that point, thinking Danny was denying it "Aha! So you two did had sex!"

"No, we weren't!"

Jack, who had awaken because of Danny and Jazz's argument, peeked his sleepy head out of the RV door and asked while rubbing his eyes "Hey, could you two kids keep it down? It's only 8 AM."

Danny rolled his eyes as he told his father while crossing his arms "Sorry, Dad. Jazz just thinks that because I spend a night with Ember in her tent, that we had sex."

"Really?" Jack asked as he winked his eyes. But then asked Danny with a bit of seriousness "I hope you've used protection, son?"

"Ugh! We did NOT had sex!" Danny nearly yelled.

Ember, who just came back from the restroom had heard everything, nodded as she came over to her boyfriend "Yeah! And what is it to you what we did last night anyway?" she asked with a bit of rising anger towards Jazz.

Seeing that they weren't denying anything and really hadn't done any 'funny business' last night, Jazz apologized while waving her hands "Okay, okay, sorry. I was… just surprised that I saw Danny leaving your tent that I thought you two-"

"Who wants breakfast?!" Maddie called, who just came back from the local bakery and had sacks filled with fresh bread and held them up.

While everyone was enjoying a great breakfast, they left the whole suspicion of Danny and Ember having slept together out of their minds, as they still had a long way ahead of them and didn't wanted to start arguing about something which is normal for a teenage couple.

After an hour, everyone packed their things and drove further towards their destination. Though there were a few traffic jams along the way when the Fenton family and Ember entered the state of Illinois, they made a few stops along the way.

As it was around 1 PM, their latest stop was at a large park in a nearby town. While Danny's parents were sitting down on a bench, enjoying their moment together as it all reminds them of when they started dating in college, Danny and Ember were walking through the park hand in hand.

Jazz had joined them only for a moment, with her saying proudly, unaware she was disturbing the couple "I gotta say, Emily, you've made some great progress. You've answered most of my questions right AND you even know the right formulas when we-"

"Jazz!" Danny interrupted his sister, clearly being annoyed of her interrupting their moment "Do you mind?"

Seeing that Danny and Ember wanted to be alone, she nodded in understanding "Oh, I see. No problem, I'll just go and do… something else." And then walked away.

Danny sighed in relief as he returned his attention to his girlfriend, who rested her head on his shoulder as they continued walking through the park.

While Danny and Ember bought an ice-cream together, they noticed a group of 4 women that were trying to raise some money for charity by playing music, but the people only passed them because they weren't playing that good.

One of the women, who was trying to play on her guitar, said to some people "Donation? It's for the local orphanage." while a different women from the group was playing on her self-made drum kit, the third one on a keyboard and the fourth one with the bass gitar, they tried to play and sing a western song, but nobody seemed to like the song and just passed by.

Danny and Ember went over to them, feeling sorry for the women who were trying to raise money for the local orphanage, but had only raised 5 dollars so far.

Ember then got an idea "Hmmm… they seem pretty desperate, babypop. Let's say we help them out." She suggested with a smile, wanting to help them.

"Great idea, babe. I already know a good song we could play." Danny said before they walked up to them, with Ember sensing what song her boyfriend had in mind. "Hey, want some help?" Danny offered the female group "My girlfriend and I see what you we're doing and we thought we'd help you guys out."

"That's right. We're muscians too and charity is a very important thing to give, especially to an orphanage. So, what about it?" Ember asked with a smile.

That Danny and Ember offered their help, placed a hopeful smile on the women's faces, with their band leader gladly taking their help "Thanks. We'd appreciate your help, kids. But… what songs do you know?"

Ember smirked as she and Danny had already a great song in their minds "We'll surprise you, Miss. I think you guys and the crowd are going to love this number."

Danny nodded and asked "You mind if I… take your guitar for a moment, Miss?"

The band leader shrugged as she handed over her guitar "Sure. Here you go."

When Danny and Ember were ready, Danny told the women with the drums kit and the women with the bass guitar what rhythm they should do. When they nodded they started to play, with Danny and Ember smiling to each other before glancing to the crowd, ready to give their very first live performance.

Jack and Maddie had heard the band's great song too and decided to see. Then both parents were shocked to see their son playing so talented on the guitar and singing like a professional singer.

"Is that… Danny?!" Maddie asked in nearly complete shock

"It… it is!" Jack said in a similar way as his wife, before he began to smile proudly "I… I never knew our son was this talented."

The crowd began to cheer as how wonderfully it sounded and all began to donate lots of money, which made the female band leader smile even wider as their donate box began to pile up with so much cash.

When the song ended, everyone cheered and applauded for Danny and Ember, even the female band members were impressed and clapped for them. Danny and Ember smiled to each other, feeling that this was a moment they would remember forever.

After a few minutes, once the crowd had left, Danny, Ember and the charity people counted the money they earned, which was at least 1800 dollars!

"Look at this! 1800 dollars!" the female band leader said, which made the others to cheer. She then shake both Danny's and Ember's hands "Thank you so much for your help. The orphanage will be so happy with what you did for them."

Danny shrugged while feeling modest "Ah, it was nothing."

Ember nodded "Yeah, we were just happy to help."

Jack, Maddie and Jazz walked over to them, with Maddie saying, while still being in a mixture of both shock and happiness "Danny! That was… you were amazing! I… I never knew you had it in you!"

Jack patted his son's shoulder "Who could have thought you were such a great musician." Then he felt a bit embarrassed about not noticing it sooner "I can't believe that your mother and I never noticed it before. You got talent, Danny. You really do."

Jazz just gave a thumps up while smiling "That was awesome, little brother."

Danny chuckled before he held hands with Ember and held her close "Thanks. But I couldn't have done it without Emily. She gave me the courage to finally come out of my shell."

Ember formed a sweet smile and planted a kiss on Danny's cheek.

Jack and Maddie thought it was cute. They both then took their wallets and too donated lots of money for charity, which was estimated to be over at least 2200 dollars!

When the Fenton family and Ember returned to the Fenton Ghost RV and resumed their voyage to Vlad's place, all they could talk about for hours was Danny's and Ember's performance in the park, with Maddie adding "You know what you should do, Danny? Maybe you and Emily can form a band?"

Ember shrugged "Actually, Mrs. Fenton, we're already working on that."

Danny nodded "Yeah, the both of us, together with Sam and Tucker are planning to perform at the talent show at school, next week." Then he scratched his head, admitting "Although… we're still working on a tittle for our band and what song we should play."

Jack proudly smiled as he glanced for a second to Danny, before returning his focus on traffic "Well, I'm sure that you will figure it out. If you can play and sing like what you showed in the park, I'm sure you can think of a great name and song in no time."

Danny began to smile, seeing that his parents were fully supporting him "Thanks, Dad."

Jazz gave Danny and elbow and said with happiness "I knew you were going to take my advice, some day."

Danny and Ember glanced at each other, with the both of them smiling.

Several hours later, Vlad's mansion…

When it was around 5 PM, the Fenton family along with Ember finally arrived at the city of Madison in Wisconsin. And a few more minutes later, they finally arrived at Vlad's mansion, which was like a large castle.

After they pulled over and exited the RV, Ember, Danny and Jazz were nearly astounded by the size of Vlad Master's home, but wandered why he would live at a place which was almost like a medieval castle.

The main door opened, revealing Vlad Masters, who still had still the same white hair as after the accident 20 years ago had tied it into a ponytail and a matching goatee. He was wearing a black suit, a white shirt under it with a red handkerchief in his left breast pocket with a matching red bolo tie and also wears black pointed shoes.

Vlad walks up to the front steps to greet them "Jack…" he said with a bit of cold tone "…and Maddie! You've never looked lovelier, my dear." he said with a more happier voice, being more happy to see Maddie than his old friend, Jack "Please, please, come in." he ushered Maddie, Danny, Jazz and Ember inside, ignoring Jack.

"Vladdie, my man! It's good to-" Jack was happy to see his old friend, but Vlad suddenly slams the door in his face, leaving him outside "Hello? Hello?!"

As they walked into Vlad's entrance hall, Vlad wandered as he didn't expected another girl to join them and asked Maddie kindly "Maddie, I never thought you and Jack had another daughter?"

Maddie laughed at Vlad's comment, thinking Emily was their daughter, or adopted daughter "Hahahahaha! Oh, Vlad. Emily is not our daughter, she's Danny's girlfriend."

Vlad looked with a bit confusion, but then chuckled "Ah, of course. Your son wanted his girlfriend to come along with him. I understand." He walked up to Ember, asking "So… Emily is it?"

Ember nodded and shook hands with Vlad while introducing herself "Yes. Emily McLain. It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Masters."

Hearing her last name was McLain, surprised Vlad a bit and began to think "McLain? Hmmm… where have I heard that name before?" but after a few seconds he left it out of his mind "Ah, probably some business man I had an appointment with and coincidental had the same name. The pleasure is all mine, Miss McLain."

Jazz and Danny watched the decorated entrance hall, which was in green-and-gold and filled with Green Bay Packers' football memorabilia.

"What's with the green and gold?" Jazz asked Vlad "You're a billionaire! Surely you could afford an interior designer."

Danny knew right away why Vlad Masters had decorated his entrance hall with green-and-gold, and had so many collections from the Green Bay Packers "Jazz, hello? Football helmets, jerseys, cheeseheads? He's a Packers fanatic."

Vlad chuckled while patting Danny's head "Oh, 'fanatic' is such a negative word. But, yes."

Ember then wandered and asked Vlad "But… you're one of the richest men in America. If you're such a great fan of the Packers, why don't you just buy the team?"

Irritated, Vlad answered "Because the Packers are owned by the city of Green Bay and they won't sell them to me!" he then regains his calmness and glances back at Maddie, saying a bit flirty "One of two things my wealth has not as of yet… been able to acquire." He finished with a small chuckle, while Maddie smiles innocently at him.

Ember raised a eyebrow and asked Danny and Jazz "Am I the only one who's noticing that Vlad Masters is hitting on your mom?"

While Danny crosses his arms, Jazz shrugs as she says "As long as he's got working toilets, and my Mom says no, who cares?"

Jack, who was still outside, knocked on the door "Hello?!"

Maddie, who was feeling uncomfortable under Vlad's gaze, walked to the front door "I'd, uh… better let Jack in."

Danny then took a look at a football, standing on a pedestal, which had Ray Nitschke's autograph on it "Whoa, cool!"

Vlad nodded as he picks up the ball "Indeed. This ball was autographed by the legendary Ray Nitschke himself. It's my prized possession." He finishes while hugging the ball to his face.

"Heads up, V-Man!" Jack suddenly barges in and tackles Vlad to the ground, grabbing the football as he stood up "Ha! I see you've still got the old moves."

Angrily, Vlad stands up and snatches the football back "Give me that!" after he placed the football back on the pedestal, he turned back to Jack, nearly yelling "I never had any old moves! All those years in the hospital robbed me of that!"

Everyone silently looked at Vlad, surprised over his outburst.

But then Vlad calmed himself "Yes. Well, it gave me time to chart out a course for my life, didn't it? make some decisions that helped to make me very wealthy, very quickly. And it never would have happened without you, Jack." He finishes while smiling creepily, which made Jack to smile proudly.

Maddie was however uncomfortable about this and suggested "Uh, yeah… maybe we should go?"

"No, no, you should stay with me." Vlad says as he walked over to Jack and puts his arm around him "That's the whole reason I'm throwing the reunion here in my castle – previously home to the legendary Wisconsin Dairy King." He shows the portrait of the Dairy King before continuing "Just so I could… reconnect with you, Jack. I insist you stay."

Jack doubted for a moment "Well, I don't know. We do have a really cool RV.

Faking a sneeze, Jazz said "Acchoo - Let's stay here!"

Danny played along and too faked a sneeze "Acchoo – Good idea!"

Making Jack's interest to stay at Vlad's mansion, Vlad formed a grin "You know, Jack, the Dairy King's ghost could haunt these very halls…"

"I'll get the bags!" Jack enthusiastically says, wanting to find the Dairy King's ghost and runs off to the Fenton ghost RV.

While the rest of the Fenton's and Ember too went to the RV to get their stuff, Vlad smiles sinister, seeing his plan unfolding perfectly 'Yes, Jack. Enjoy your stay here… while you can. Hahahahaha!' he mentally said, having sinister plans in mind.

Later that night…

After everyone had enjoyed a great and very expensive dinner, provided by Vlad's butlers, the Fenton family went to bed as they were still tired from the long trip to Wisconsin.

Ember was inside the guest room Jazz was using, as she was still tutoring Ember for her chemistry test. Despite that the both of them were tired, Ember was getting better and better, answering all Jazz's questions correctly. Finally, after a successful practice chemistry test, which Ember had to use actual chemicals in some test tubes, Ember and Jazz called it a day and while Ember went back to her designated room, both went to bed. But in case anyone would come to her room, Ember decided to remain in her human disguise while she slept.

When it was around 12:30 AM, in one of the other guest rooms, where Jack and Maddie were sleeping, Jack suddenly bolts upright from the bed "Bathroom."

Jack walked out of the guest room and walks into the hallway in search of a bathroom. But unknown to him, the 3 same vulture ghosts phased down through the ceiling and flew after him.

Inside another guest room, where Danny was asleep, his Warning Ghost Sense suddenly goes off, waking him up.

"Huh? A ghost? Here?" Danny asked himself as bolts upright, but then narrowed his eyes "Oh, great. Just what I need: a working vacation." he quickly transformed into his ghost form and flies out of the room in search of the ghosts.

Sensing that something disturbed Danny, Ember woke up too. Knowing that her boyfriend needed her help, she quickly pressed the Fenton logo on her Disguise belt, making her to transform back into her ghost form. But as she was about to fly off, her belt sparkled a bit, making Ember to groan as she tried to readjust her belt "Dammit! It better not go malfunction while helping Danny." She became intangible and phased through a wall, searching for her boyfriend.

Back with Jack, who was practically now sleepwalking as he kept walking through the same hallway in search of a bathroom, the ghost vultures smirked as they were about to attack Jack with their talons, but then Danny's hands phased up through the floor beneath Jack's legs, grabbing them, making Jack intangible and phased his father down through the floor.

Surprised, the first vulture says "Hey, what gives?"

Danny flies his half-asleep dad into the bathroom and flies out. Jack wakes up and notices where he is, which relieved him "Ah! Sweet relief."

When Danny phased through a different hallway, he felt his peaceful Ghost Sense going off, feeling that Ember was approaching "Danny!" Ember calls as she phased through a wall, joining her boyfriend and asked while become tangible again "I felt there was some trouble. What's going on?"

"The three Vulture Ghosts that were after my dad, that's what's going on." Danny stated.

Ember frowned, ready to teach those vultures a lesson for messing with her back in the Ghost-zone. She and Danny gave a nod and phased up the ceiling, into the hallway where the vultures are.

"Hey, punks!" Danny calls to them while punching a fist into his palm.

Ember telleported her guitar into her hands "Remember me?"

The vulture ghosts turned and saw Danny and Ember, but then freaked out and flew away in fear.

Confused, Danny and Ember glanced at each other "Okay. That was almost too easy." Danny told his girlfriend.

But then, another voice called from behind them "Ah, bright boy."

Danny and Ember turned around, seeing the vampiric ghost behind them, floating while holding his arms crossed and gave a smug grin.

Ember's anger rose once she saw it was the same ghost that nearly killed her before she met Danny, making her flaming hair flaring up "You!"

Still showing the same grin, Vlad chuckled "Well, well, well. If it isn't the Ghost-zone's heroine, Ember. How nice of you to drop by and bringing along your boyfriend, Danny Phantom."

Danny was confused that this vampiric ghost knew the name of his alter ego, but sensing from Ember that this was the one who nearly got her killed before meeting her, made Danny to frown and stood in his battle stance.

"This time I'm ready for you, asshole!" Ember screamed as she hit the strings on her guitar hard, shooting a powerful fist-shaped energy beam at the ghost, but he quickly moved out of the way! Danny swings a powerful punch at him, but he grabs Danny's fist in midair and flings him hard against a wall!

Ember then charged in with a powerful kick, but blocks her attack and fires a purple ghost ray at her, making her fall backwards, but quickly recovered and then threw her guitar at him like a boomerang, which the vampiric ghost easily avoided by ducking.

"Ha! I expected more from you." The vampiric ghost says while crossing his arms.

Ember only smirked as the guitar came back like a boomerang, hitting the vampiric ghost at the back of his head! Danny then fired a powerful ghost ray himself, sending the ghost backwards as he phased through the wall. Danny and Ember follow him, finding him in Vlad's private library while getting up from the floor.

Demanding for answers, Danny asked while his hands glow green and Ember ready to send another energy beam from her guitar "How do you know me?! And why do you want Ember dead!?"

The vampiric ghost smirked as he floated up, holding his hands at his back "I know everything, boy. You're the ghost boy who uses his powers for good. How quaint." He then flies around them, explaining while giving a smug grin "And as of Ember, you see, the Ghost-zone's brave heroine, had disrupted my plans in the realm of the ghosts for far too long. When my minions had failed, I felt I had to take care of her… personally, and taking her powers for my experiments." He finishes with an evil grin.

"Over my dead body, vampire freak!" Danny angrily yelled as he attacked him, with the vampiric ghost turning intangible, making Danny to phase through him.

The ghost chuckled in amusement "How entertaining." And fires a ghost ray at Danny, hitting him in the chest, sending him crashing into a bookshelf.

Ember hit the strings on her guitar, sending a purple shockwave at the ghost, but he blocked it with a ghost shield.

"Ha! Nice try, girl." The vampiric ghost said while crossing his arms smugly.

But that was when Danny flies up and fires several ghost ray's at him, joined by Ember who fired ghost ray's at the enemy too, but he was able to block them all and gave a fake yawn.

Danny and Ember weren't going to fool around anymore. They lunge at the ghost while firing many ghost ray's simultaneously. The ghost blocked the blasts, but was shocked to see Danny and Ember both delivered a fierce uppercut, sending the ghost flying backwards and hit the wall!

The vampiric ghost however quickly recovered and flew up, saying to Danny "Hmmm, you have been trained well, I see." But then he smirks as he asks "Tell me, child, can you do-" he then duplicates himself into three other copies, surrounding Danny and Ember "-this yet?"

This surprised Danny as he went back to back with Ember, carefully watching the vampiric ghost's duplicates "No, I can't! How are you doing all this?"

"Years of practice," the ghost and his duplicates said simultaneously "Which you, unfortunately, have no time for." And all four each shoots a powerful ghost ray at Danny and Ember, who scream in pain and fell to the floor!

Danny and Ember struggle to stand back up, before they were both continuously attacked by the vampiric ghost and send flying backwards, back into the hallway and both crashed to the floor!

Nearly motionless, Danny and Ember both tried to stay awake as they glanced at each other worriedly. Ember tried to reach her hand to him, but falls unconscious, followed by Danny.

The vampiric ghost phases out into the hallway, looking down at Danny and Ember. But then, Danny automatically transforms back into his human self, while Ember's Human Disguise belt malfunctioned, making her to transform into her human disguise and back to her ghost form several times.

The vampiric ghost looked surprised at the both of them "The ghost boy… is Jack's son?" he then glanced at Ember, transforming back to her ghost form for a seconds before into her human disguise. The ghost began to smirk "I knew I heard that name McLain from somewhere before. It is Ember's last name."

The vampiric ghost then transforms himself into his human form, revealing to be Vlad Masters!

Amused, Vlad said to himself while looking at the unconscious Danny and Ember "Well, what do you know? Jack's son has ghost powers too and the flaming rocker tries to fit in with the humans." He began to develop a new plan as this revelation could prove very valuable for his revenge on Jack.

Not long after…

In Danny's bed, both Danny and Ember were tossing and turning beneath the bedsheets.

"No! Get away!" Danny yelled in his sleep.

"Danny, nooo!" Ember yelled too before they woke up and Danny removed the bedsheets from their heads, finding themselves in his bedroom and Ember back into her human disguise.

Confused, they looked around "Huh? What happened?"

Both glanced at each other, not knowing or remembering they decided to sleep together in one bed "How did we…? Was it all just a dream?" Ember asked.

"I… I don't know." Danny answered.

Just then, Vlad appeared, saying as he walked into the room "A little busy for the night, hmm?"

Danny and Ember glanced to each other for a moment, feeling a bit embarrassed while Danny explained "Uhm… we… must've been worn out form the long car trip and…"

"And we… probably wanted to remain close for a while. We must've accidentally fallen asleep together." Ember added while standing up from the bed "I'll just go back to my own room."

Vlad shrugged as it was no big deal "Oh, that's all right. It happens to the best of us. Sleep tight, little lovebirds." He said while he first walked out of the room, followed by Ember who gave a blow kiss to her boyfriend before closing the door and walked back to her own guest room.

When she was gone, Vlad smirked before he evilly chuckled "Yes, sleep tight, love birds. Hahahahahaha."

The next evening…

(Sunday, May 16th, 2004)

After having spend the whole day at Vlad's mansion, enjoying all the luxury his place had to offer, Danny and his family and his girlfriend helped a few of the maids to decorate the ballroom.

When nightfall came, many people, who were college students from 20 years ago arrived at Vlad's castle for the reunion.

Ember decided to let her disguised brown hair down and was wearing a long blue dress that she bought a week ago when she was shopping with Kitty at the mall. She wear also her Human Disguise belt under her dress, keeping her in her human form. Though there were some close calls today because of some malfunctions to the belt, making her to nearly transform with Danny's family around, Danny was able to fix it so it would make her to remain in her human disguise, or so he hoped.

Not trying to worry about it too much and keeping her head together for her upcoming chemistry class, she met up with Danny in the same hallway as she walked out of her room. She noticed that he was wearing the same suit he was wearing before at the school dance. The two lovebirds approached each other, with Danny first saying as he admired Ember's new dress "Hey, babe… wow, you look really beautiful."

Ember smiled at him "Thanks, dipstick."

As they held hands while walking down the hallway, Danny began to narrow his eyes.

"Is something wrong, Danny?" Ember wandered as how he saw him like this.

Danny stated "Well… it's just because I was hoping for some more alone time and not being dragged into that college reunion where I probably have to listen to another tale about my parent's youth.

Ember understood, and softly stroke his hand, ensuring him "I know it must be embarrassing right now, but when it's over, we'll have more time for ourselves."

That did made Danny feel a bit better "Yeah, you're right. Let's just get this over with."

Maddie, who was wearing her normal jumpsuit, saw Danny and Ember coming and smiled bright how well her son and his girlfriend looked "Ooooh, look at you two! You look amazing." Then she reminded herself before going to join Jack at the reunion "Oh, could one of you check on Jazz in the screening room an see she'll join us?"

Ember nodded and went to check on her "I'll go."

Danny waited for Ember to return.

After a few minutes, Ember found Vlad's screening room, where some old football clips were being played about the Green Bay Packers. Ember peeked inside, finding Jazz watching the clips with a few other people.

"Hey Jazz. Aren't you coming to the reunion?" Ember asked as she approached Jazz.

Jazz however was not in the mood to go to the reunion and stated "What? And watch a bunch of old fossils pogo to new wave music? Pass. Did you know the Packers won the very first Super Bowl?"

Ember shrugged "Suit yourself." And left the screening room to join her boyfriend to be at the college reunion.

In the ballroom, were the main party was held, nearly all the former college students from Jack, Maddie and Vlad's year were gathered, enjoying the good food that the maids and the butlers served, many songs which were a big hit in the 80's and other entertainment that was provided.

Jack, Maddie, Danny and Ember walked into the ballroom, and Jack looks around before spotting an old classmate, Harriet Chin.

"Hey, Harry!" Jack called to her by her nickname.

In shock, the Asian women Harriet spits out food after hearing Jack's voice, making her narrow her eyes "Ugh. I'd know that voice anywhere." She walked over to the Fentons, trying to be nice "Jack. Maddie. How nice."

Jack told Ember and Danny who she was "Danny, Emily, meet Harriet Chin. She's a big-shot reporter for the Milwaukee Journal now, but back in my college days she was just Harry. Harry Chin! Haha! Get it?!" he asked if they got the joke why he and some other students called Harriet 'Harry'.

Feeling sorry for Harriet for being nicknamed by her old college name, made Maddie to apologize to her for her husband's behavior "I'm really sorry, Harriet."

Harriet shrugged while crossing her arms "Sweetie, you married him. You should be."

Just then, the DJ played a new wave music song, making Jack enthusiastic "Hey, my song!" Jack grabs Maddie by her arm "Come on, let's pogo!" and begins to pogo while dragging Maddie along with him and runs into people.

Danny and Ember both narrowed their eyes.

As some hours passed, though Danny and Ember tried at least to enjoy themselves a bit, they quickly became bored as they sit at a table.

Ember sighs in annoyance while a party guest pogoes past them "Okay, pogo was back in my day totally in, but seeing all these old people doing it now, it feels now totally out of touch."

Danny agreed while giving a nod "I agree. I'd choose Disco Paradise over anything but this." he stated as he'd preferred to be at the disco back in Amity Park.

That made Ember to form a sweet smile "Yeah… that would totally be awesome." She then suggested "Maybe during the summer vacation we could go again along with our friends?"

Danny like the sound of that "Sounds good to me."

Just then, Vlad walks up to the teenage couple and puts his hand on Danny's shoulder, saying "Well, son, you and your girlfriend look much better. I was wondering… if you two could do me a huge favor."

Danny smiled at Vlad "Oh, sure, Mr. Masters." But then he stated as he preferred to be called by his own name "But call me Danny. 'Son' is what my Dad calls me."

Vlad chuckled "Oh, yes, yes, of course. Now, could you two go to my lab, second door on the right upstairs? There's a present in there for Jack that I'd like you to bring down."

"Okay!" Danny and Ember both said as they stood up and left the ballroom together while Vlad has an evil smirk on his face. He then turns and glares at Jack pogoing on the dance floor while Maddie and the other guests watch him.

Vlad then focuses on Maddie, sighing "Maddie…" but then he frown with hatred for Jack as he stole Maddie from him "That lab accident cost me my youthful chance at you, but that's all about to change…"

After some minutes of searching, Danny and Ember found Vlad's lab, looking around for the present that Vlad wants to give to Jack.

"I don't see any present around. Do you?" Ember asked her boyfriend.

Danny shook his head, but then finds a framed picture of college-aged Vlad and Maddie on a table with the top-right corner teared off "Hey! Wait a minute." Danny wandered as he reached into his jacket and pulls out the torn picture of younger Jack the vulture ghosts had, seeing it's the missing corner from the picture!

Ember saw it too and gasped, while Danny backed up "No way." Both Danny and Ember realized that the one who ordered the vulture ghosts to kill Jack was Vlad Masters!

Suddenly, Danny's Warning Ghost Sense goes off. While he transformed into his ghost form, Ember pressed the Fenton logo on her belt, but it didn't worked and sparkled again.

Ember pressed many times in frustration "Ugh! C'mon you piece of shit!"

But then, they were both grabbed by two ectopuses and pulled them up into the air!

Danny and Ember kicks the ghosts off of them while Danny pulls the one who held him and slams it into the floor!

"Those ghosts…" Danny said "They were two of the first ghosts I fought!"

"But what are they doing here?" Ember asked while finally transforming back into her ghost form.

Suddenly, Danny and Ember were trapped into a net and shocks the both of them! When they looked who it was who trapped them into a net, they saw it was the Ghost-zone's greatest hunter and their enemy: Skulker!

"Skulker?!" Danny and Ember both said before breaking free form the net and kick Skulker into some talk-like units!

Standing in in their fighting stance while Ember made her guitar appear in her hands, Danny demanded from Skulker "What are you doing here!?"

Skulker smirked "A very excellent question, ghost child. But first," he then rolls out two small black cubes at Danny and Ember "Catch!"

The small cubes then suddenly grew and traps them inside larger glowing boxes.

Danny and Ember were surprised while trying to break free "Huh? Hey! I can't phase out of this." Danny said.

"Me neither." Ember added "Its… it's disrupting our powers!"

"And that's not all they do." Skulker said before pressing a button on his wrist, making the boxes shock Danny and Ember, making them both scream in agony!

Danny and Ember both felt weak and dazzled while Danny transforms back into his human self, with both their heads fall forward on their box. While Danny tried to gain consciousness, Skulker picks Ember's head back up by her hair and drew a glowing green blade from his wrist to Ember's neck, making her yelp.

Skulker then began to think "Now, who's head shall I take first?"

Danny struggled harder, trying to help Ember, but because he was stuck into his box, he couldn't go help her "No! KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF OF HER!"

Skulker shrugged before smirking evilly "Ah well, I guess I'll begin with yours, Ember."

Ember screamed in fear while Danny yelled, nearly begging Skulker not to kill the love of his life "NO! STOOOOOP!"

Skulker raised his blade… but only to be ordered to stop by someone "Enough!" all three looked, seeing it was Vlad, standing near the lab door "I ordered you to bring me the boy and girl, Skulker, not to kill them! Your work is done."

Skulker frowned while retracting the blade and sighed "Fine." He then activates his jetpack and flies away, phasing through the ceiling.

Danny and Ember frowned at Vlad, with Ember saying "Skulker? The ectopuses? It was YOU all along who send those ghosts to attack Amity Park!?"

Vlad chuckled evilly while walking over to the now captured Danny and Ember "Yes, I did. All the ghosts: the tiger, the rats, the ectopuses and many, many more."

"I don't understand! Why?! Why are you doing this?!" Danny demanded to know from Vlad.

Vlad rolled his eyes "Of course you wouldn't understand. You're, what, 14? Too young to drive and not in college yet? I sent all those ghosts to test your father's skills. Imagine my surprise when I found out that your girlfriend is actually the Ghost-zone's dear and brave hero, Ember McLain and YOU, the second ghost hybrid that Jack's foolishness created."

"Second?" Danny asked confused.

Just then, Vlad transforms into his ghost form, revealing that he was the vampiric ghost from last night and the one who tried to kill/capture Ember months ago!

"You!" both said at the same time, both shocked and angry.

"I'm going ghost!" Danny yelled, trying to transform back into his ghost form… but nothing happened "Going ghost!" but still nothing happened "This box… it's not only disrupting my and Em's powers, but also prevents me from going ghost?"

"Very clever, son." Vlad said "And you have a battle cry, hilarious." He said sarcastically while rolling his eyes before stating what those boxes were "These are spectral energy neutralizers, designed by Skulker, paid for by me. And as long as you two are contained within those boxes, you're as human as that idiot Jack."

"Let us go you asshole!" Danny yelled.

"If you're a real man, you would show us some balls and put up a real fight, Masters!" Ember yelled too.

Vlad chuckled at their demands "Very amusing, but I'm not being intimidated by your threats, or your foul mouths." He leaned over to Danny with a smug on his face "Didn't your father ever taught you any manners, boy?"

"Let us go!" Danny yelled once again.

Vlad crossed his arms "Why? So you and your ghost girlfriend can go back to stumbling through your adolescence, making the world a better place while desperately trying to get control of your powers, Danny? Powers, by the way, that I've had for twenty years." Vlad then demonstrated all his powers, including more powerful ghost shields, duplication and invisibility "And also, the name is Vlad Plasmius. I have experience, Danny. And the money and power attained through using those powers for personal gain, you see." He then offered Danny "Just imagine all these powers could be yours to control? Why keeping yourself stuck with the 'flaming rocker', if I can provide you all the knowledge you desire? I could train you, teach you everything I know. And all you'd have to do, is to get rid of the ghost girl who you think is even real and renounce your idiot father."

Danny was having none of it and said "Okay, first of all: you are one seriously fucked up fruit loop. Second: that is never EVER going to happen and THIRD: I already have a great teacher, and she sits right next to me, trapped in the same box as I am… who I would never trade for anything in the world." He finished while smiling at Ember.

Ember nearly got teary after Danny said that, telling how much he deeply loves her "Oh… babypop…"

Though this made Vlad angry, he then shrugged "Well, once your father is out of the way, we'll see how you feel." He then leaned over to Ember, saying sinister "As for you, Ember McLain… I have big plans for you! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!" Vlad Plasmius evilly laughs before telleporting away.

Back at the party…

Harriet was talking to Jack, telling about how successful her career as a journalist went, but clearly Jack wasn't looking interested in anything she was saying.

"Then, I covered the guerrilla uprising in Rumackistan, got an exclusive with the rebel leader that tor raves-" she stopped when Jack puts his chin on his drink glass out of boredom, making Harriet annoyed "Am I boring you, Jack?"

"Frankly, yes." Jack answered.

Right then, Vlad Plasmius phased up invisibly from the floor behind Jack and overshadows him, turning his eyes red.

"So, what do you say we liven up this shinding?" Vlad says while overshadowing Jack, picks Harriet up and throws into the punch bowl table, crashing it!

Shocked by her husbands behavior, Maddie ran up to Jack "Jack, what's the matter with you?!"

Vlad, still controlling Jack, turned himself, facing Maddie "Why Maddie, didn't you always know I'd turn on you? That when you chose me you chose wrong?!"

But suddenly, Jack grabbed his arm, trying to gain back control over his body "Get out. Get out of me!"

An angrily Harriet walks up behind Jack, who struggles with Vlad for control of his body "I don't know what's come over you, but when I write about this I swear-"

Jack clutches Maddie, looking desperate as he was losing control over his body "Ghost… overpowering me. Maddie, run. RUUUUUUN!" Jack yells as he floats high above the dance floor as Vlad takes over him again. Many of the party guests ran away screaming.

Harriet was shocked to see what happened to Jack "He's a ghost?" then she smiled bright "This is the story of the century!"

Maddie quickly grabbed Harriet by the arm and dragged her away from the ballroom "Come on! We have to get to the Fenton Family Ghost Assault Vehicle!" but worriedly chances her sentence "I mean, the RV!"

Back with Danny and Ember…

Both Danny and Ember were still struggling to break free from the boxes.

"GRRAAGH! C'mon!" Danny nearly yelled as he tried to open it but was really tight.

Suddenly, the ghost of the Dairy King floats down at them, surprising the two ghost heroes "Well, gosh and golly, it looks like you two could use a speck of help there, dontcha know?"

Ember recognized the ghost from the few portraits around the castle "Hey, you're the Dairy King!"

But then both became unsure and worried of the Dairy King was really coming to help them, so Danny asked "Uhhh… are you friend or foe?"

The Dairy King ghost smiled as he used his scepter to press the 'Open' button the side of Danny's box, freeing him and returned the box to its smaller size. Danny kicked the cube away and pressed the 'Open' button on the side of Ember's box, freeing her.

Seeing that the Daiey King ghost was a friendly ghost, Danny and Ember thanked him for freeing them "Thanks Dairy King." Danny said.

The Dairy King gave a shrug while he smiled "Oh, no problem. I've heard lots of tales about you two back in the Ghost-zone. It is my pleasure to help both Ember and Danny Phantom, heroes of both men and ghosts."

"Thanks." Danny said, feeling modest.

"Hey, will you help us fight Plasmius?" Ember asked the Dairy King.

The Dairy King ghost however friendly declined "I'm the Dairy King, kiddo's. Kings don't fight. They send other people to fight for 'em. That's Royalty 101 there, dontcha know?" then became intangible and said while floating up to the ceiling, phasing through it "Try the Gouda! It's dairy fresh!"

Danny and Ember both smiled as the Dairy King ghost was kind enough to safe them. Suddenly, Ember's Human disguise belt sparkled again, but worse than before, making her look in shock "What's happening?" Ember asked while trying to press the Fenton logo, but only making it shock! Ember yelped as she and Danny quickly removed the belt from her waist, dropping it on the floor. After a few more sparks, the human disguise power went down while a small black smoke came out of it.

Danny quickly took a look at it "Oh no. This is bad." He opened the belt buckle, only finding all the chips and wires having burned, making it useless "Ember… I'm afraid this one is beyond repair." Danny worriedly said.

Ember didn't know what to do, now that she was unable to disguise herself anymore.

Suddenly, both heard Maddie screaming "Jack!"

Both gasped as Danny's father was in trouble. Leaving the broken belt out for now, Danny instantly transformed into Danny Phantom and both him and Ember flew away to safe Jack from Plasmius.

Meanwhile outside, Maddie and Harriet quickly entered the Fenton Ghost RV, with Maddie sitting at the drivers seat and Harriet at the passenger seat, who held a record towards Maddie and asked "So, Maddie, when did you first realize your husband was a monster bent on destroying his smarter, more successful, and better dressed peers?"

"What are you talking about? That jumpsuit is incredibly stylish." Maddie answered before hitting the gas paddle and drives the RV into Vlad's mansion, passing by shocked guests and running into some items.

Danny and Ember at that moment phased through the wall, just as the Fenton RV drove passed them. Both then saw Jazz, who was peaking her head out the door of the screening room, seeing that her parents had messed up things again, making her to sigh in annoyance "I'm guessing we won't be invited back."

Ember then got an idea and told her boyfriend "Danny, you go and safe your dad. I'll be joining you soon."

"But what are you-" Danny nearly asked before being interrupted by Ember.

"Just trust me on this!"

Sensing what she had in mind, Danny gave a nod and flew through another wall, going to the ballroom, while Ember flew intangibly towards Jazz "Sorry for this." she apologized before overshadowing Jazz, giving her complete control over her body as Jazz's eyes glow green "Not exactly my favorite disguise, but for now, this'll do." Ember said while overshadowing Jazz and ran through the hallway, towards the ballroom.

In the ballroom, several guests ran out, screaming and one man jumps out of a window as Jack (still being overshadowed by Vlad) threw table around, flying and scaring people "If you live to tell the tale, remember that gib, fat Jack Fenton did this to you!" Vlad, said while overshadowing Jack and hits a man!

"Guess again, cheesehead." Danny called as he flew with speed towards his father, turning intangible and flies through Jack's body, knocking a screaming Vlad out of Jack and phased them both through a wall, while Jack falls to the floor.

Being angry for being used by a ghost to cause chaos, Jack yells "Nobody uses Jack Fenton as a human meat puppet!"

Vlad and Danny phased into Vlad's library as Danny knocks him in there. Danny tries to punch Vlad, but misses and Vlad kick him away.

"Daniel, stop." Vlad called, trying to tempt Danny again to join him "Think about the things I could show you, the doors I could open for you which Ember was unable to. You, Danny Phantom, and I, Vlad Plasmius. Together, we could rule!"

For a few seconds, Danny faked while thinking about it "Hmmm, what was that word again for an offer like that? Oh yeah! It says: FUCK YOU!" and fires a Ghost ray at Vlad, but absorbs it with one hand and shoots it back at Danny, but was able to deflect it with his ghost shield "Ember has showed me more than what I could dream off. She's a hundred times better than you being a mentor who uses his power for his own selfish desire!"

Angrily about this, Vlad duplicates again into four Vlad's and attempted to fire many ghost rays at Danny, but being more furious for trying to turn him against his girlfriend, Danny was more focused and stronger as he deflected all the blasts, absorbing them and fires it all back with one big Ghost ray at Vlad, shocking him as the blast send him flying backwards, hitting many bookshelves!

Vlad floats up, saying "Are you really that stupid, Daniel?! Your dear Ember is not even alive. She's a ghost! A simple ectoplasmic creation of her former self from the 80's. Nobody can love something that isn't even real."

"SHE'S REAL TO ME!" Danny furiously yelled as he lunches at Vlad, punching him several times in the face and then kicks him away "And I know more about love than you do, asshole! I'll tell my parents about your secret identity. I'll tell everyone what a monster YOU truly are."

That made Vlad to smirk as he wiped away some green blood from his mouth "And so will I. Honestly, if you expose me, you expose yourself… and your 'so-called' ghost girlfriend."

Suddenly, the Fenton Ghost RV bursts through the wall of the library, with Jack now driving it, making Danny and Vlad fly out of its path!

Seeing his chance, Vlad became intangible and phased his hands down through the top of the RV and grabs Maddie "Mind if I cut in?" and pulls Maddie out of the middle seat, shocking Jack and Harriet.

Maddie struggled to get loose while both became tangible again "Let go of me!"

"Never again, women."

Danny looked and saw his father jump out of the RV and chased after Vlad who flies away with Maddie in his grasp "Maddie!"

Ember, overshadowing Jazz, entered the library, seeing the same thing. She glanced at Danny, both nodded as Danny flew after Plasmius and Ember jumped inside the RV, sitting in the driver's seat, shifting the gear.

Harriet, being exited about this, said "And I wasn't going to come to this thing! Ha!"

Ember angrily yelled, while overshadowing Jazz, at her "Just sit down and shut up!" and then hit the gas panel, racing towards Vlad, coming to Danny's aid!

Danny tried to grab Vlad, but not wanting to hurt his mother, he held himself back, giving Vlad an opening and hits him hard with a Ghost ray, sending him hitting the ground hard!

Ember swerves the RV to a stop, almost below Vlad and Maddie. She pressed the same red button, making the steering wheel converting into the RV's weapons-tracker battle mode. A laser cannon appears out of the top of the RV "Eat this, punk!" Ember, yelling by overshadowing Jazz and fired an energy beam at Plasmius, but easily knocks it away. Ember then shoots a lightning beam at him, but it phased through Vlad as he became intangible. Having only one option left, Ember switched to 'ectoplasmic goo' and fires the green goo at Vlad, who shockingly looked before hitting him and knocks him back, causing him to drop Maddie. Danny quickly overshadows his father and used him to catch Maddie.

Maddie smiled at her husband for saving her "Jack! You did it!"

"It was nothing, Mom-" Danny said while overshadowing Jack, before correcting himself "-eh, Maddie. Sure, heh, Maddie." He then puts her down "You make sure Harry's are okay while I finish this."

Maddie nodded and ran to the RV, where Ember used Jazz to jump out of the RV and ran to aid Danny, who's still overshadowing Jack and lifts a now goo-covered Vald up off the ground, saying with a smirk "How's it going, V-Man?"

Vlad started to mock Danny, knowing he was overshadowing Jack "Ooh, you've overshadowed Jack. Ooh, I'm so scared. Now what's next? A magic trick along with your assistant, Ember?"

Danny then became serious and said as overshadowed Jack "Listen to me. I swear we'll just walk out of my dad and my sister right now and expose ourselves, unless you agree to a truce."

"You're bluffing."

Danny held Vlad closer, saying he was meaning it, with Ember agreeing while frowning at Vlad "No, we're not. My parents will accept me, no matter what. And when they hear about Ember being a hero and fights for justice for both men and ghosts, they WILL accept her too. But if we expose you…"

Ember, still overshadowing Jazz, smirked while crossing her arms, sensing what her boyfriend was thinking "Yeah, what would Maddie think of you?"

Vlad began to look worried at the thought of Maddie's reaction, knowing that he will lose his chance to have her, forever. He looked down in defeat while Danny sets Vlad down.

"You'll be miserable and alone for the rest of your life, unless you call a truce, right now." Danny warned Vlad.

Vlad then suddenly showed a small proudly smile "Using your opponent's weaknesses against him. I am teaching you something after all. Very well. Truce. But beware… eventually you will join me by choice, you and your mother, Daniel. But for now…" he clares his throat and floats up, being fake dramatically as Maddie and Harriet joined "Curse you, Jack Fenton! Your world-renowned expertise of all things ghost has defeated me!" he then evilly smirked "…Until next time, son." Vlad finishes before dramatically screaming as he dissipates into a green mist until he disappears.

Danny and Ember both phased out of Jack's and Jazz's body and fly off.

Harriet spoke into her recorder "World-renowned expertise! Outstanding!"

Jazz was dazzled while looking around in confusion "Huh…? What? Why am I here? What happened?"

Maddie hugged her daughter, feeling so proud of what she did "Oh, Jazz! I'm so proud of you! I knew there was some ghost hunting in you!"

"Wha… what?!" Jazz asked in total confusion, not remembering anything what happened while being overshadowed by Ember.

Maddie lets go of her daughter and hugged her husband "Jack! I'd never seen you like this! You beat that ghost all the way to Kenosha!"

Confused, Jack asked "I did?" but seeing his wife being proud at him, he played along while smiling with pride "Aw, heck, I'm just doing my job."

Maddie planted a kiss on his lips, which Jack returned.

Jazz stuck her tongue out "Eck! I'm right here, you know."

Jack then realizes, while breaking the kiss with Maddie "Wait a minute. Where are Danny and Emily?"

In a different hallway, Ember and Danny phased through the wall and laned on the floor while going tangible. Ember started to panic as there was no way she could turn into her human disguise again "Danny, what'll I do!? I cannot disguise myself anymore!"

Danny tried to calm her down "Ember, just relax. We'll figure out something."

"How?! I know that what you said was true that your parents would maybe accept me, but then you'll have to expose yourself."

Danny looked down, before glancing back at Ember, sighing "Maybe… I should tell them."

"You… you do?" Ember asked, being surprised that Danny was willing to tell his parents about his secret that he was half ghost.

Danny placed his hands on her cheeks "I rather face the consequences, than having to live a life without you."

"Danny?! Emily?! Where are you two?!" Maddie called from the hallway next to them.

Danny sighed, while transforming back into his human form "Well… here goes…"

Suddenly, Ember remembered something from both her studying chemistry with Jazz, as of something she heard from tales that ghosts had told in the Ghost-zone "Wait, Danny. Maybe you don't have to."

"What do you mean?" Danny asked as he turned back to his girlfriend.

"It's something that I just remembered, from both Jazz's tutoring and from tales of the Ghost-zone!" she held Danny's shoulders "Danny, if our bond is truly that strong, then we could… ecto-bond!"

"Ecto-bond?" Danny asked, not knowing what ecto-bonding is.

"It's that when two ghosts finding their perfect match, they… can form a bond so strong that they can even… share powers with each other."

"Share powers? Are you sure?!"

Ember nodded, but was doubting "I… it never happened in centuries, but it's our only shot." She held him close "If you do love me… you truly deeply love me… than this could give me the ability to chance into my human form without having to use the belt. But you have to proof it very very badly!"

"But how? How do we do it?"

"I don't know!" Ember said in near panic.

"Danny? Emily?!" Maddie called again, walking to where they were.

Danny thought of something quick, not having much time. He looked into her eyes, saying softly "Then… just think that… this could be our last minutes together in this world."

A tear fell from Ember's eye, thinking this could be their last moment together "Dipstick…" and both shared a deep kiss while embracing each other, feeling they would never see each other again.

Inside their souls, thousands of sparkles ignited, with both Danny's and Ember's DNA sharing some electric energy, sending something from Danny's DNA into Ember's. Ember's flaming hair flared as it glow bright and wrapped itself around Ember and Danny, not letting each other go while a blueish ring formed around Ember, splitting in two with one going up and the other down. Maddie saw a bright blue light from around the corner, making her gasp as she ran towards it.

When Maddie slide around the corner as the blueish light quickly faded, seeing both her son and Emily in embrace, sharing a kiss of true love.

Danny and Ember both slowly broke the kiss, looking at each other. Danny gasped as he saw Ember no longer in her normal ghost form, but now into her human form!

Maddie sighed in relief while he walked over to them "Oh, there you two are. What happened and what was that blue light?"

"What blue light?" Ember asked, but then gasped as she noticed that she wasn't looking ghost anymore, but human 'It worked! IT WORKED!' Ember screamed mentally of happiness, not believing that this 'ecto-bonding' truly worked.

But trying to stay in character, Ember made an excuse by saying "Oh…! Uhm… I… guess me and my boyfriend got a bit too much distracted to notice."

Danny gave a shrug while smiling.

Maddie understood and all three walked down the hallway, while Maddie explained what had happened while they were gone, telling about the vampiric looking ghost that had possessed Jack but was defeated by both him and Jazz who managed to use the weapons in the RV against it.

Danny grinned while whispering to Ember "Guess there's some ghost hunter in you after all, huh?"

Ember giggled "I guess."

When Danny, Ember and Maddie met up with Jack, Harriet came by and said "Jack, that was amazing! For all the years I thought you were a crackpot, I sort of apologize." She grabbed her notebook, knowing that this interview with Jack could skyrocket her career to a new level "Ghosts! This story will make your career – and mine!"

Not long after…

The Fenton family and Ember, having packed their things and placed it into the Fenton Ghost RV, drove away from Vlad's mansion, heading back home to Amity Park. With Jack driving at the driver's seat, Danny sitting in the middle seat and Ember (in her human form) sitting next to him.

However, something else was bothering some of them, with Danny saying "I can't believe they fired Harry."

Jazz, who was lying on a bed in the back where Maddie was sleeping in another bed across from her, said "Of course they fired her. She tried to file some crackpot story about ghosts. It's the Milwauke Journal, not the National Enquirer." She then turns herself to go to sleep, wanting also to forget what had happened, especially that she used the RV to battle a ghost which she had no memory off and hoped this wouldn't ruin her reputation.

Jack sighs "I can't believe Harry blames me. And Vlad was so mad, he didn't even say goodbye." He then looked down depressed "And we were all such great chums in college."

Danny shrugs while rolling his eyes "Oh, whatever. Who cares what you were when you were younger? It's who you grew into that makes you who you are."

"You think?" Jack asked his son.

"Hey. If you can cause that much damage in college, and still turn out to be this cool, ghost-butt-kicking adult, well, maybe there's hope for me yet." Danny said while Ember placed her head on his shoulder, making him smile.

Jack smiled too, feeling better after Danny said those encouraging words "Thanks, son… and with you being as talented in music, I'm sure you'll turn out just fine."

"Really?"

Jack nodded "Sure!" but then he said seriously "But your curfew is still ten."

Danny gave another shrug "I know. I promise I'll do better my best to be home on time."

"Glad to hear that, son. Glad to hear that…"

Not long after, while Jack decided to drive the Fenton Ghost RV all the way back to Amity Park through the night, Danny and Ember had fallen asleep, with having both their seats reclined and Ember resting her head on Danny's shoulder.

The both of them started to have a shared dream.

In a large stadium, thousands of people cheered for the band that was about to perform. The lights started to dim, with many people responded with hundreds of ignited picture flashes. A large blue flame flared out of the podium, revealing Ember and Danny.

"Hello, New York City!" Ember called through the mike.

"Are you all ready to rock!?" Danny called through his mike while hitting the strings on his guitar hard, making the people cheer more, calling their names and the band name, but couldn't hear what name their band was.

Neither caring, Ember hit the strings on her guitar, making the same three ghost bandmember appear, with one playing the drum kit, the second playing the bass and the third one playing keyboard.

As Danny played along, hitting all the notes perfectly, Ember started to sing her signature song, which everybody loved and made the crowd cheer even louder.

As the song ends, the whole crowd went crazy, cheering for Ember's name "Ember! Ember! Ember! Ember!"

"Danny! Danny! Danny! Danny!"

Danny and Ember shared a short glance, before returning to the crowd, both giving the rock'n'roll salute.

Slowly, the crowd's cheering for Ember and Danny's name faded and began to call out the band's name.

"Firing Spirits! Firing Spirits! Firing Spirits! Firing Spirits! Firing Spirits..!"

Slowly the crowd faded, hearing them calling their band name dimming.

Danny and Ember both slowly opened their eyes, seeing the sun was coming up. Danny glanced at his father, who was still at the driver's seat, feeling tired for driving all night. Danny felt bad for him, but then saw the sign saying: Welcome to the state of Ohio!

But as Danny and Ember still had that name of their band inside their heads from that dream, both glanced at each other, feeling that they had indeed once again a shared dream. Slowly, they formed a grin, knowing how they're going to call their band.

"Danny… you're thinking what I'm thinking?" Ember asked him quietly, not wanting to wake up Jazz and Maddie, who were still sleeping at the back of the RV.

Danny nodded before they watched the sun coming up at the horizon "Hell yeah, Em. It's the perfect name for our band: The Firing Spirits."

A/N: It is just amazing that after 10 chapters and almost 1 and a half year later, this story has become so very popular. But I cannot take all the credit, as it was thanks to all of your kind reviews and many tips and suggestions that has made this story a huge success. As of the start of October, this story has now become the most watched story on my channel, having surpassed my Assassin's Creed story.

Honestly, when I finally found about the High School's schedules in the US back in 2004 on the internet, I quickly made some chances that made sure I won't make any mistakes or big plot holes in either this chapter or the upcoming ones (guess I dodged a bullet right there, huh? Pfew!)

As for the part where Star had decided to safe Ember from being cruelly pranked and had her little encounter with her Shoulder Angel and Devil, came as both an inspiration to the Disney movie 'The Emperor's new Groove' (which is from my opinion one of the funniest Disney movies ever made) and also a pic from my good friend on the website, 'Dreams Come True 996' as I've seen it on a pic she made of having her own little conversation with her Shoulder Angel and Shoulder Devil.

A big thank you also to my good friend 'Wolvehulk' for helping me with some ideas.

As Star's mom or dad was never mentioned in the series, I just made my own created characters for those parts, making Star's mom, Fiona the Casper High school nurse. Star's backstory will also come as a surprise to you all, which will be revealed in a future chapter.

The big play that will be in a separate own created chapter will be a surprise to all of you. That one will play out after the summer vacation in this story.

The next chapter will also be greatly different, being an alternate episode/chapter of 'Fanning the Flames', with an alternate tittle and a new OC ghost villain, who will be inspired by a real hard rock-heavy metal musician, which will also greatly surprise you.

For now I'm going to be focusing on other stories before I'm going to start writing the next chapter (including the one-shot of Danny x Desiree that I promised)
