"Where do you think the comet will hit?" Elite Agent asked. Arctic Assassin, who usually went by Arc, looked to the bright blue object in the sky for a moment before returning her attention to her surroundings.

"I'm not sure," Arc said with a shrug. "But hopefully we'll find out something today." She knelt down behind a tree for cover while she could look up at the incoming comet. She lifted her sniper rifle to see if she could get a better view of it through the scope.

"The transmission gave the coordinates D5419 which on the map points to Tilted."

"That's what the fakes think too," Arc said turning her attention to the Tilted Towers area. "They've completely surrounded Tilted."

Something lit up in the atmosphere and rocketed toward the island. The two women watched the meteorite fall from the sky and slammed somewhere on the island.

"Oh, shit." Arc said. "We need to report back to RT." The two stood up and were almost immediately greeted with hails of gunfire. Both of them ducked behind some cover. "Where'd they come from?"

Elite opened fire with her assault rifle while Arc took aim at any exposed enemy she could find. She found a target and fired immediately at their head. The bullet slammed into the person's face and they disappeared in blue light.

Elite stole a glance from around the tree catching a glance of gunfire coming from a bush. She lobbed a grenade that bounced into the bush and incinerated it in the explosion along with the person hiding inside.

Arc pulled out her assault rifle, spun around the tree and relentlessly fired on the third person, taking a hit in the side herself but her aim was better than her opponent who dropped to the ground. The bodies melted away in blue light.

The two women snapped their heads in every direction looking for any other threat but found none.

"Here," Elite said. "I'm sure you need this now." She tossed her a med-pack to tend to her bleeding torso. She lifted her once white shirt to reveal her abs. She poured some green disinfectant on the wound that stung like hell before slapping on some bandages. The wound would be completely healed in a few hours. She didn't understand it but the most severe and even life-threatening wounds would be completely healed after a few hours. The small ones healed in minutes.

More meteorites lit up in the sky before slamming into the island, one of which was nearby. The pair felt the resulting tremor. Their radios kicked on with a distressed male voice coming through.

"Team Three taking heavy fire. Ambushed at riverbank across from Tilted. Requesting assistance."

"That's Havoc's team," Arc said. "We need to go."

Havoc, Brite Bomber and Sparkle Specialist were pinned down on the riverbank on the eastern side of Tilted Towers. Originally, there were four people to their team but Absolute Zero, Zero as everyone called him, took a sniper shot to the face and was on the ground..

"This is truly truly truly outrageous," Sparkle Specialist said.

"I think I'd use some more colorful metaphors to describe this situation," Havoc said. "No need to be G-rated here." He lifted his pistol and mentally readied himself to turn the corner and open fire to give cover for the other two to get Zero when there was a break in the gunfire. However, there was no break. It was a continuous onslaught. Havoc was certain they were being pressed and they would soon have the drop on them if they didn't act soon.

"Any of you have any grenades?" he asked. The other two shook their heads. "Damn it."

Suddenly, the riverbank was rocked by a series of explosions. The shooting didn't start back up once the explosions had ended.

"Thunder," Arc said.

"Flash." Havoc replied as he got to his feet.

"What happened?" Arc asked.

"We were returning to base when we got ambushed."

"It's probably best not to get too close to Tilted. The fakes have increased their numbers and now blocked off Tilted."

"We noticed. Zero wanted to get a closer look. Sniper rewarded him for his troubles."

Arc looked past Havoc's shoulder to the fallen Zero. "Any idea why they've taken an interest in Titled?"

"That's what Zero wanted to find out."

"Think it has anything to do with the comet and the coordinates?"

Havoc shrugged. "Beats the hell out of me but it can't be a coincidence."

More shots rang out and the two teams returned fire.

"We need to get away from here," Arc said. "Let's regroup at Dusty Depot and then plan a route back to base."

"Don't ya think these guys will follow us?" Sparkle asked.

"If they do then we'll take them out. They only have the advantage right here. We'll flip it on them once we get to the mountain area near Dusty. Now move!"

The five of them sprinted east toward Dusty Depot. The small band of fakes followed them while they continued to fire at them. The fakes looked similar to the inhabitants of the island but with slight differences. They also lacked a personality which is why no one had ever confused a fake with the real thing.

Arc aimed her sniper rifle at their pursuers once she reached the top of the mountain. The fakes didn't bother taking cover allowing them to be easily picked off. Arc wasn't complaining but it didn't make much sense as fakes typically do have some sort of strategy.

Arc lifted her head away from her scope and scooted over to her left to see another group of fakes coming in from the south.

"Shit," she said repositioning herself. "EA! Southside!"

Elite Agent turned her attention to the south and started firing at the flanking group. Brite Bomber jumped over to help.

"This seems like a lot of work just to take us down," Elite said.

"They don't want us near Tilted. That's for sure," Brite said.

"Anyone else remember life before the fakes arrived?" Sparkle asked shooting at her targets.

"No, not really," Havoc said.

"Yeah, me either."

"Then why ask that?"

"Just seemed like the right question to ask right now," Sparkle said. "You know, remembering easier times during times of certain death."

"I don't plan on dying just yet," Arc said.

The area began to get peppered with meteorites, some of which were taking out the fakes. The intensity of the raining onslaught caused Arc and her group to drop down to the ground and make a break for Dusty Depot.

That's when an overwhelming roar encompassed the island as everyone everywhere stopped what they were doing and watched the comet come crashing down. It flew right over tilted and slammed into Dusty Depot.
