Reviews:
SuperiorSpyder: Yeah, all things are coming to ahead in this chapter, and we're only halfway there.
Shooting Star Dragon 3000: You're gonna have to wait and see. But our cinnamon roll will be okay.
Toa Solaric: Well, they don't know Finis quite yet. You'll have to wait and see.
Pikatwig: Sougo and Alpina *are* married, it just happened during the time between post-ending but before the V-Cinemas. Yeah, it was a joke that needed to be done. And yeah, I think we're having fun writing this story.
MKDemiGodzilla-Warrior: Remember, we changed how the Another Rider lore works in Zi-O Revised, so Zea is still around, and Ark is still drowned. As for Horobi and Jin? Read on.
Spidey Viewer: Yeah, it's looking bad.
BSWAT: Thanks very much. And yeah, it was hard for Aruto to see Izu controlled like that.
Guest, chapter 2, Apr 17: We've got plans for Saber Revised, Grey and I are busy with other projects.
Here are some reviews answered by our own GreyKing46:
Guest chapter 2 Apr 17: Touma/Reika
BSWAT: It was not all HumaGear's. It was one hospital.
That was the idea for those two Armours being used.
Also, links do not work with Fanfiction. Nor do website URLs. Also going 'this was my reaction' and sending a link is kinda cringe, TBH
Spidey Viewer: Yes.
MKDemiGodzilla-Warrior: Oh trust us, you'll see.
Pikatwig: The final scene of Zero One took place roughly four months after it finished. With the family BBQ/meet up before that being one month after the final battle. Between those points.
Galmanous: It worked in the movie's context.
Shooting Star Dragon 3000: Well, you gotta read to find out buddy.
Raven Soriano: I will just say this. We. Plan. Things. Mwahahahaha

The large mechas were soaring through the skies, seeing the city getting further and further away, the city seemed to be another hellscape they had to leave behind. But their destination was something more depressing.
A lake. Filled to the brim with water to the absolute limit and blocked by a massive damn, surrounded by electrical and digital fences. The lake was deep; two, maybe three hundred metres tall, thick concrete and semi-abandoned.
It was a place that no one would willingly go to if not for maintenance purposes.
"Is this it?" Sougo asked, through the communicators.
"Yep, DayBreak." Fuwa answered seriously. "Careful, they're not exactly 'hospitable'."
"They don't have to be. If they know what's coming, they'll help." Yua added.
"So... where do we park?" Alpina asked.
"The forest there should be big enough for the mechas and enough foliage from being seen from above." Geiz commented.
"Okay, taking it in for a landing." Alpina responded as they began to carefully land their machines, bending the trees and almost uprooting them. "Sorry! Sorry!"
"Don't worry about it, I'm no better." Geiz responded as they landed with two heavy 'THUDS!'.
"Wow...Here within record time. And in flying Gigas to boot." Yua commented in awe as she could finally appreciate the craftsmanship of the machines.
"...Is that a machine that's around?" Geiz asked.
"It's what AIMS...used for a time." Yua admitted.
"My King, is everything alright?" Woz asked, running over to the other mecha to see Aruto still silent.
"He's in shock." Sougo explained.
Fuwa saw this and frowned, knowing full well what he was going through. He walked over and placed a hand on Aruto's shoulder, squeezing it supportingly.
Aruto slowly looked at Fuwa, looking at him with vacant eyes as he felt the most dejected he had ever felt.
Yua saw this and was stunned as he didn't tell Aruto to 'get over it'. He was being respectful to the young President.
Fuwa gave a single reassuring nod to let him know that he could take his time and collect his thoughts. This was Aruto's time to process what had happened.
Woz looked at this and knew what it meant too, the memories of what happened before, back when he was an enemy.
"Ms Yaiba, where exactly are this 'Metsubou Jinrai'?" Alpina asked quietly to Yua.
"Somewhere around here. They usually turn up when we're not-" Yua began to explain before she was interrupted.
"BOO!" A new voice proclaimed, scaring the group, except for Fuwa and Aruto.
Appearing before them was a young man; wearing a tattered black hoodie, neck length black hair and brown eyes, a studded belt around his waist, black leather bracers and a tattered dark pink shirt.
CLICK!
SHINK!
"Who the hell are you?" Geiz grabbed his weapon and aimed it at him, still on edge from earlier. Along with Sougo, Alpina and Woz.
"Jin?" Aruto asked hopefully, a spark of hope on his voice.
...
"You seem... Happy to see me, Zero One?" The new figure, 'Jin', blinked in shock.
"I am." Aruto nodded gently.
"We've had...a rough day." Yua explained.
"...whatever it was. Wasn't me." Jin answered defensively.
"We know that." Fuwa rolled his eyes. "We came for your help."
"You need our help?" A stern and cold voice spoke, almost appearing like a shadow as he had a katana blade to the back of Aruto's neck.
The weapons immediately turned to the second person, each of them glaring menacingly.
The person was wearing a multiple layered black, white-lined, and purple headband around his blonde hair; wearing tattered black clothing with a studded sleeved shirt, a purple sash around his waist and a long trenchcoat with torn black trousers and boots. Around his waist was a katana sheath that was a natural fit for the blade in his hand.
"Put. The sword. Down." Alpina ordered, sounding like a mother.
"You are new. Who are you?" The purple clothed man asked.
"Horobi, we have a problem. And by 'we', I mean all of us." Yua ordered, giving the blonde-haired person a name.
...
"Very well." 'Horobi' responded, sheathing his blade. "We shall listen to your plea."
...
And Aruto suddenly rushed up, pulling Horobi into a hug "Thank you! Thank you!" He cried. He cried, hugging onto the man tightly. "Thank you! He hacked Izu! He got her! He hurt her! Please help us!"
Jin's jaw dropped in shock as he saw this, his brain whirring in confusion as he saw this.
Horobi however, as stoic and cold as he was...was flinching and recoiling. This was *deeply* outside his comfort zone. 'What? Is? Happening?!'
"Err...huh?" Jin asked.
"Sit down you two. It's a long story." Yaiba sighed.
The two different Rider teams began to explain the situation; how this person, Sefy Asai barged into Hiden Intelligence and called the Hiden family thieves, the strange events on how he managed to take control over hundreds of HumaGear and finally took over the company and hacked into Zea. And how he stole's Izu freedom by breaking into her mind.
"...I don't believe it." Jin whispered.
"It's horrible." Geiz agreed.
"He can't do that to my friends!" Jin punched the rock he was sitting on.
"Jin. We are leaving." Horobi ordered.
"What? You can't just leave!" Woz responded.
"This involves you too! Another Zero-One has control of a Zea-!" Yua added.
"And who's fault is that?" Horobi questioned. "Is it in Hiden Intelligence's contracts that 'one must be a total sociopath'?"
"That's a low blow!" Fuwa glared.
"Jin and I must go into hiding." Horobi added simply "And lock off access to DayBreak. Wait for you all to deal with this."
"Don't you even care that Another Zero-One is going to take over Japan?" Sougo responded, to which Horobi remained stoic.
"We will survive. Metsubou Jinrai will survive." Horobi answered. "As will Ark."
"Horobi..." Jin nodded a little sadly as he heard that.
"Alright. Fine. Run and hide. But just know one thing...THAT psycho took control over the satellite in a matter of seconds." Geiz got up from his seat. "And from what I can gather...you two are on a different system...How long until you are under his control?"
"We will never-" Horobi frowned... Before his eyes flashed for a moment.
The group, Jin included looked at Horobi in shock as he remained frozen until he responded.
"Very well. It is Ark's will that we help you...and stop this 'Another Zero-One' from taking over." Horobi answered.
"Good to know you're on the same page." Geiz answered.
"Then, let's begin our plan...I'm not sure how long we have left." Woz responded.
*In Hiden Intelligence*
Sefy was walking through the halls of the company that he had now under full control in his hostile takeover. Fitting his tie around his neck as he walked into a meeting room, where employees and board members were cowering in fear.
The board members were tied to their chairs, some of the braver ones bloodied or injured. The room was filled with Hacked HumaGears.
"Hello everyone!" Sefy said proudly, his arms spread wide. "Hello, hello, yes. Your new president is here."
The board members looked at Sefy, some of their eyes were bruised, lips were bloody, bruises and wounds. They didn't know who this was, or if they did they could barely remember.
"Now that I'm here, my secretary and I are going to make some important changes around here!" Sefy smiled. He took a seat at the head table, crossing his legs dramatically "Do you like her new outfit by the way? I felt like changing the female dress code."
Walking in was Izu. She was wearing a scantily clad dress, showing a lot more of her legs; long black stockings, high-heeled black shoes, a white and green leotard that seemed to 'emphasize her chest' though it was just aesthetics, a ruffled green and white skirt, long green opera gloves and a circuitry styled domino mask.
"Doesn't she look nice? Designed it myself." Sefy spoke proudly.
"That... you are disgusting." Mr Fukuzoe hissed, glaring at Sefy.
Sefy turned to Mr Fukuzoe and pointed with his hand to one of his 'security guards' and without a word, the guard grabbed him and lifted him up from the seat.
"Gah! What are you doing?" Mr Fukuzoe called out, struggling to wriggle out.
"I remember you. The 'Failed Vice-President'. The one that my predecessor failed to discipline. Let's rectify that." Sefy answered, snapping his fingers.
THUMP!
Mr Fukuzoe was punched hard in the stomach and dropped to the floor, his mouth coughing up spit onto the floor.
"Shut up!" Sefy snapped
"What... did you even do, again?" Mr Fukuzoe snarked "If I remember correctly, weren't you fired before the project was completed?"
"I said, be quiet!" He snapped, clicking his fingers again
THUMP!
"Ah... Ah..." The Vice President panted "You... Really are pathetic." He smirked "The Hiden family outshines you magically."
snap!
THUMP!
"GAH!"
snap!
THUMP!
snap!
Snap!
THUMP!
THUMP!
...
THUD!
The HumaGear released the older man, the Vice President fell to the floor.
drip
Blood dripped out of Fukuzoe's mouth as he panted weakly, shaking.
"Soren Hiden and their entire line are thieves!" Sefy hissed.
The other members of the board looked on in fear as they saw Mr Fukuzoe getting manhandled by the hacked HumaGear, the emotionless visage of a mindless soldier attacking a human.
"Now. The female uniform. What do you all think?" Sefy asked, expecting a complying answer as he raised his hand ready to snap his fingers.
The hostages looked at each other, fearing for their lives and seeing what happened to Mr Fukuzoe had to answer in Sefy's favour. "Fine, it's fine. A good look."
"Good. I'm going to my office, and I want to see, every woman wearing this new uniform before the end of the day." Sefy ordered darkly. "Come Izu."
"Yes, President Asai." She answered emotionlessly and followed.
The board members immediately went to Mr Fukuzoe's side, helping him up out of worry.
"I'll call the hospital or the medics." Mr Yamashita, a member of the board responded.
"Hnn...I don't think they'll come, Sanzo." Mr Fukuzoe grunted, holding his stomach. "That militia outside won't allow it."
"But he can't just-"
"We have to...wait for AIMS. And Aruto." He answered slowly, his stomach soon settling.
*With Sefy*
Sefy had arrived in 'his office'; seeing the sight of the city outside. His company. His office. His chair.
Speaking of which, as he burst in, he aimed straight for it and was soon spinning with a goofy grin on his face. Almost like a child playing around. "Yes! I did it! It's mine!" He cheered.
"Yes, President Asai." Izu spoke, still with her hands folded and standing still.
Sefy spun back around and saw Korenosuke's portrait on the wall, smugly glaring at it. "Look at me now, President Hiden. It's mine; your family of thieves are ruined." And flung his legs over and kicked Izu's discarded clothing...and heard something 'clink'. "Huh? What was that?"
Izu looked down at her clothing and answered. "My discarded clothing, President Asai."
"I know that! Urgh. Stupid robot." He reached down and grabbed it, feeling around the fabric until he noted the lump in the pocket. "The hell is this?" As he pulled out a strange near-translucent yellow rock.
"That is a special mineral filled with unknown spectrographic energy that Aruto Hiden-" Izu began to explain.
THUNK!
CLANG!
Tossed into the bin. "Junk! I don't need to hear that." Sefy dismissed it.
He took his seat at the president's desk, smirking out of the window.
"It's mine. Zea is mine. Hiden Intelligence is mine."
"You seem to be enjoying yourself." A familiar voice grabbed his attention, revealing the woman from a few days ago.
"Oh, it's you." Sefy turned.
"Of course 'it's me'. You've got the company...but what are you doing?" She asked. The woman walked around the desk, frowning as she stood in front of him.
"Enjoying my victory."
"You're throwing your weight around. You're bullying people. It's honestly pathetic." She answered.
"'Pathetic'?! I've reached my dream! I've become president!"
"And what're you doing with it? Sitting on a throne and letting the company fall into ruin?" The woman responded.
"I don't have to take this from-!" He glared, reaching into his pocket...and couldn't find the Key.
"Looking for this?" She asked, having the gift he gave him in her hand. "Remember who gave it to you."
"Give me that back!" He whined and reached for it and her, only for him to miss and fall flat on his face.
Suddenly Izu brought her foot down, pressing the heel of her shoe against the man's spine.
"GAH!" He yelled in pain "What are you doing, bitch-bot?!" he snapped.
"They obey the one who holds the Key's power." The woman responded, holding the key JUST out of Sefy's reach "You may be a so-called President now... But remember who's the future Queen."
Sefy grunted in pain, wincing, and whimpering as he looked up from the woman's legs, glaring daggers at her. "Y-yes!"
"'Yes', what?" She looked down at him.
"Yes...Your Highness!" He grunted as Izu removed her heeled shoe from his back.
"Good." She returned the Key to him. "Should you turn on me...I'll turn your robots on you." And vanished from his sight.
"GET OFF ME!" Sefy roared at Izu, gripping her tightly.
Izu, still with her frozen face, apologised. "I am sorry, President Asai."
"Hnn!" He grunted and rubbed his back, feeling the indent of her heeled shoe. "Where the hell is Hiden?"
Izu's eyes whirred slowly, giving him an answer after a moment. "The large mecha vanished over the horizon. Their location seems to be in the direction of DayBreak."
"Ggrrrr..." He growled, running a hand through his hair.
"President Asai. There are other matters that require your attention." Izu suddenly added "The prices of stock are falling quickly, like a rock. Public opinion of Hiden Intelligence is dropping just as, if not faster. Many people are sending in complaints or trying to return their HumaGear. AIMS has been contacted and trying to get in contact with us about cyber terrorism claims. And there are news reports complaining about us and sharing all this information."
Sefy's eye twitched as he heard that. This...this wasn't supposed to happen! He was President! He invented Zero-One! How was he not beloved?! The company was his! How dare they go against his company?
Being a President was supposed to be easy, right?!
You just sat back and enjoyed all the money, relaxing all day and life was made! It was the 'easy life'! No hard work at all! So why?!
"I-I-I...Get the-get the PR people or someone!" He stammered. "Get the news people and silence them!"
"Yes sir." She bowed.
Sefy remained in the office, holding his head in anger and frustration. 'How? This wasn't supposed to happen!' He thought. This was his dream! No. No, no, no! It was Hiden's fault. Hiden's fault that he was in this situation! He must've sabotaged this! He grabbed his Another Zero-One Key and gripped it. "I'm going to find him. Find and kill Hiden! I'll make him pay!"
Izu was frozen as she heard that...and could only respond with "Yes, President Asai."
*With Aruto*
Aruto was looking mindlessly into the metal in front of him, sitting next to a large broken computer, as the group had gathered in a large abandoned building within DayBreak.
"So... How do we defeat this 'Another Zero One'?" Jin asked curiously.
"No, the first question is simple. How do his powers work?" Horobi countered.
"He was using something different, but it appears to work the same." Sougo frowned "It is called Another Ride Watch. Or rather, in this case, I guess it's an... Another Progrise Key, are they called?"
"Correct." Yua nodded.
"Well, basically it's like a glitch in time. Copying Kamen Rider Zero One's existence." Geiz explained "Two of the same thing, in the same state, cannot exist at the same point. So, the paradox seals away Zero One, Aruto's powers. His powers are like a parasite to time, trying to take the place of Zero One."
"So, a knock of?" Fuwa asked with a hum.
"In a way, yes." Alpina nodded with a small smile.
"So. How do we stop it?" Horobi asked.
"To stop Another Zero One, we need Zero One. Or at least his power." Woz explained, confusing the current Rider's.
"...Huh?" Fuwa asked.
"Okay. As simply as we can." Alpina responded calmly. "Our RideWatches." She gestured her own. "Are made from a special material called 'Quartz'. When made into RideWatches, they can copy the soul of a Rider without causing a paradox."
Sougo pulled out a different RideWatch. "Example, this. Plus this one. Equals new form with stronger powers."
"Like. When. Zero-One switches from Grasshopper to Bear?" Jin asked, gesturing his body like things were moving about. "Like...claws and shoulders with a bigger chest."
The Quartzer Riders looked at each other and nodded. "Kinda."
"It sounds ridiculous." Horobi sighed. "Additional parts on armour sounds cumbersome."
"...You've no idea." They answered, thinking about their different forms.
"But the only way to beat Another Zero One is to basically counter the power of Zero One WITH Zero One." Woz explained.
"So... Like matter and anti-matter?" Yua asked.
...
"I... Guess?" Geiz shrugged.
"So we need to find a loophole to reactivate Zero One's powers." Alpina said "Or somehow make a new RideWatch with Zero One's power."
"And we can't do the later since we have no Quartz." Sougo frowned.
"Why don't you mine some? Quartz crystals are naturally occurring stones; right?" Horobi asked.
"Quartz with a lower case 'q' are common. The type we use are special." Sougo answered. "And the place we mined them...is still 'under construction'."
"Then what do we do?" Jin asked. "Is there any of this 'special Quartz' around or something?"
"The yellow Quartz Aruto has. That would work." Alpina answered.
"Then we've got it."
"...no." Aruto whispered. "Don't...I don't have it."
"...I'm sorry, I couldn't hear it over the sound of whimpering and self-deprecation. Did Zero-One say 'he doesn't have it'?!" Horobi snapped before he was lifted by the scruff of his collar by an angrily glaring Fuwa.
"Izu has it." Aruto answered, weakly.
"Damn it." Geiz hissed.
...
"So, why don't we go and talk to the guy who made Zero One?" Alpina asked.
"The one who designed all the Rider systems we use was Soren Hiden. Aruto's HumaGear father." Yua explained with respect and a lowered head.
"Cool! Where is he?" Geiz asked.
...
"Dead. For fifteen years." Aruto frowned weakly.
The Quartzer group looked at each other and nodded. "Well. We can work with that."
"I'm sorry; what are you talking about? Didn't you hear? His father is dead!"
"We have our own means to fix this problem," Woz answered. "Our Mazines can do more than just fly and crash into things."
"'Magazines'?" Jin asked like a confused kid.
"Mazine." Aruto explained with a smile. "Basically wordplay that means machine devil."
"Wow! Cool!" Jin blinked.
"So, what else can your machines do?" Fuwa asked.
"Take a guess. Their full names are TIME Mazines." Geiz smirked, finally understanding why some of his senior riders were a bit... Much. It was fun being the one who knows everything
"...EHH?!" Fuwa, Yua, Horobi, Jin and Aruto asked in shock.
"Are you saying that those are time machines out there?!" Jin asked excitedly.
"Yep." Sougo chuckled, seeing how excited Jin was.
"That is impossible!" Yua called. But you could see a... A sparkle in her eyes, the same with Aruto. A fascination and excitement.
"You'd think that. But it's true. Time travel's real and dangerous if improperly used." Alpina answered.
You could almost see sparks coming out of Horobi's ears as he couldn't comprehend this. It was impossible. This had to be impossible!
"...I'm gonna see it!" Jin cheered excitedly, only to be held back by Woz.
"Not right now," Woz warned him.
"Oh..." He frowned.
"Now you see what we mean by 'paradoxes'; right?" Alpina asked.
"Look, I don't get all this time travel stuff. But answer me this: can we get help from Prez's dad? Yes or no?" Fuwa asked.
"Yes. If we know where and when he is, we'll be able to ask for his help." Sougo answered.
"But it'd also be bad if we ALL went back in time. We are gonna need to split into two teams. One staying in the present in case of an attack, and the others going back in time."
"Look at the king, taking charge." Geiz whispered with a smirk
"I'll go." Aruto said as he suddenly stood tall, the old Aruto peeking through for a moment "You'll need me there to convince him you're telling the truth, at least."
"That's one for 'going'." Alpina spoke.
"Ooh, oh! Me! I'll go!" Jin raised his hand excitedly.
"If Jin is going, I will-" Horobi began to speak, only for Fuwa to grab the pair of them.
"Like hell, you will!" Fuwa glared. "You two are staying here!"
"You insolent-" Horobi hissed.
"If you go back in time you'll change the past! Hack HumaGear's, assist your past self in some way! You'll change the future because you can! You have the plan all layed out, I bet! Exactly the buttons you need to push to turn the present into EXACTLY what you want!" Fuwa snapped.
"He's right." Yua nodded "And for that same reason, Fuwa, you are staying here as well."
"Yaiba!" He snapped.
"You are emotionally compromised with this situation." She frowned "You will try and save your kids from what happened. Or your friends. Or warn your past self. You won't be able to help yourself. You're too emotional Fuwa. And normally that's a good thing, but not when it's something so delicate! We need a scalpel, not a hammer!"
"Grrr..." He growled weakly but relented.
"Besides. You have physically stronger keys. You'll be able to hold them off if they try anything with the SECOND Mazine." She added with a small smirk.
"You're right." He admitted bitterly.
"So I guess you are going to?" Alpina asked Yua.
"Yes, because I won't let my emotions run wild." Yua answered. "I can probably help with the Mazine."
"That's two...Make it three. Because someone has to drive." Sougo raised his hand.
"Four. You aren't driving again." Alpina answered.
"Really? Why not? I'm a good driver!" Sougo almost whined.
"You crashed the last time." Alpina pointed out.
"That was to save the whole timeline!" Sougo explained, almost like this was an argument they had all the time.
"Is this a domestic squabble?" Jin asked Woz.
"It's a common occurrence." Woz sighed. "Even though it was noble, My King did destroy a Time Mazine."
"...Was it cool?" Jin asked.
"Now is not the time for childish questions, Jin!" Horobi groaned.
"It wasn't 'cool'. It was 'freaking awesome'." Geiz answered casually with a nod. "Guess that means, you've got me and Woz guarding these two here with you." He pointed between each of them.
"That works with us." Jin answered. "Right, Horobi?"
"...I suppose." He sighed and shook his head. "I will be waiting outside for the onslaught."
"No, that's where the Time Machine is!" Fuwa snarled and followed.
"We better get on guard," Woz spoke.
"Alright, we'll get ready." Sougo added.
"...I'm still gonna look at it." Jin spoke as he ran outside, as Geiz and Woz headed out.
"Are you alright to go?" Yua asked Aruto.
"I think so." He nodded. "I just...I need this."
"Try not to cause too much trouble, guys." Sougo spoke.
"You're the one dealing with stuff in the past. I should be saying that." Geiz answered.
"You can trust us, My King." Woz responded with a bow.
"Keep an eye on those two." Sougo whispered, pointing to an arguing Horobi and Fuwa, while Jin was staring at the Time Mazine in awe,
"You've got it." Geiz nodded.
"Sougo, Aruto, Ms Yua; ready to go?" Alpina called out.
"Coming." They responded.
"Fuwa!" Aruto spoke out. "...Thank you."
"Don't mess this up!" Fuwa answered back up.
Aruto nodded as they boarded the Time Mazine and Alpina input the time in the Mazine's computer. "Hold on; first-timers get sick from the turbulence."
"Is that normal?" Yua asked.
"It can be, it's like going fast then stopping abruptly. You'll be alright." Alpina reassured.
Yua and Aruto sat in the seats that were there, while Sougo remained standing confidently. "Please remain seated and keep your hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times." He joked.
"Here we go!" Alpina proclaimed.
FWOOOSH~!
"WOW!" The two gasped, as the robot took flight. They flew into the air, a portal opening before their eyes.
Aruto and Yua covered their eyes as the transition of natural light to a prismatic flash that turned white. The two flinched as they tried to get accustomed to it, from the sound of the Time Mazine went silent.
"Did-Did it work?" Yua asked before Aruto touched her shoulder. "What? What is-?" Her jaw dropped as she saw the splendour outside.
"Welcome. To the Time Stream." Sougo spoke as he gestured outside.
Outside of the Time Mazine; was a midnight sky, filled with stars. Deep but soft colours, resonating around the area like a heartbeat, small stars in the background were like diamonds sparkling with different colours.
Aruto's eyes began to well up as he saw this, it was like looking at the midnight sky without any light pollution. "It's...beautiful." He whispered.
"Yeah, it is." She agreed.
"Looks like it's healed just a little," Sougo commented, looking at it.
"It does. But we need to head a little further." Alpina answered as they flew through the Time Stream.
"Did you do this often?" Aruto asked.
"We didn't have 'adventures across time', that would've caused too many paradoxes," Sougo answered.
"Geiz and I came from a dystopian future to kill him," Alpina admitted, making both Aruto and Yua freeze. "At the time we thought he was a tyrannical monster bent on total domination of all Time."
Aruto and Yua looked at each other and then at the pair. What the heck kind of lives did they live?
"We managed to save everything though," Sougo answered with a smile. "And with minimal damage to the timestream."
Alpina simply pointed outside...where floating debris of a destroyed Time Mazine passing them by. "And that is why he's not allowed to drive again."
"Oh jeez." Aruto facepalmed a little as he saw that, seeing a 'henpecked husband' of the 'King of Kamen Riders'.
"Alright, we're approaching the time zone. DayBreak fifteen years ago!" Alpina spoke as they saw a ring of time, looking like a clock-frame open before them and shot straight through.
"Gah!" The two covered their eyes, while Alpina and Sougo remained normal about it as the clock-face opened up and revealed a cloud speckled blue sky and a city down below them.
This was DayBreak, fifteen years prior and not a secluded dam. It was a large 'New York Grid' with the roads looking like a computer chip; houses upon houses, shopping malls and businesses around each corner, schools for the people living here. Some tall skyscrapers with different logos on the front. All the companies that helped build the city itself. People who believed in this dream of humans and HumaGear cohabitating, neighbours, friends and family. They were all here together in this city.
Aruto's eyes welled up as he saw this, getting choked up with emotions as he wanted this. He dreamed of bringing back a future like this. He wiped his eyes on his sleeve as he was overcome.
Yua saw this in shock. It was Daybreak, it was the city she remembered as a child. They *had* travelled back in time. The submerged city was here before her.
PSSHEWWwww.
The Time Mazine slowly and carefully landed down on the open park, the sound of the engines turning off as they arrived in Daybreak. "Here we are." Alpina spoke.
"Alright, let's find Mr Hiden." Sougo spoke up.
Aruto was hesitant about it, stepping into the past...but this was real. He was hopeful, that he could see his dad again.
"President Hiden?" She asked, placing her hand on his shoulder.
"I'm. I'm alright." He answered hesitantly. "It's just...nostalgia. I think."
"Don't get too lost in it, Aruto." Alpina responded. "It's not a walk in a park...so to speak."
"Wow...it's like when we first met." Sougo commented as they stepped outside.
"I suppose it is." She nodded.
Aruto looked outside and saw the clear day and park, remembering the day back with his father. He felt his heart aching and took a deep breath. It was like how he remembered...but was also worried about what would happen. "Right, we have to find him."
"Right. What's his name?" Aruto asked, trying to be as kind as possible.
"Soren. His name was Soren." Aruto answered.
"Well, that's a good thing to go on," Alpina added.
"We could ask someone. There are some people over there." Sougo pointed...and soon regretted it.
"Magia!" Yua proclaimed as she reached for her Driver.
A group of Magia stumbled and then rushed at them.
These HumaGears were Old generations. Black undersuits, black boots, grey shins, faded white thigh guard; a robotic crotch area with a silver vertical plate and two white wires strapping it in place. A grey belt made from strapping wires with a blue pentagon buckle. White-grey shoulders with black rivets for securing them in place. Black bracers and padded hands; a white parachute-like chest-piece with an old QR code with the blue 'Hiden' logo underneath. The head of the Magia was black with a white and silver uncanny valley 'flat face' with a single blue visor for the eyes, and a pair of silver headphones with blue lights.
These were the Generation that Soren was.
"You've got to be-!" Sougo spoke angrily as he and Alpina were ready to fight with their Drivers.
KAMEN RIDER!
"Huh?" The group asked before the winds behind them picked up, dark blue-green and red lightning surged around as a large metallic grasshopper leapt and crashed about, missing the four while stopping the rogue HumaGear.
"HENSHIN!" A strange new voice spoke, but one voice caught Aruto completely off guard and filled him with emotions as the winds and red lightning obscured the figure.
CYCLONERISE!
Rushing through the cyclone and lightning was a black bodysuited Kamen Rider, turquoise armour clashing onto their body. Turquoise protection on black boots, hexagon pieces connected at the top of the boots with dark grey bindings over the top, red and silver heels; silver strap-wires latching turquoise and silver armour pieces onto their thighs. Turquoise and silver bracers strapped with grey wiring; silver armour under the arms, silver segmented shoulder guards with silver wiring straps; a turquoise chest piece with silver wiring straps underneath to keep the armour in place with a single red line going down the middle. A black neck guard with red markings in the shape of a DNA helix. A black helmet with silver straps around the head, latching the turquoise grasshopper-like face with magenta eyes and silver antennae.
ROCKING HOPPER!
And around this being's waist was a belt. Primarily silver with a dark grey right-hand side, a red segment on the left, a red arrow pointing downwards that was in the centre of the belt; a red grip that was extended out and a red 'hook' with a pair of dark grey wire in a triangle. Inside the belt was a black Progrise Key with a red grasshopper skeleton on the inside with a turquoise screen.
TYPE-1
The figure, this Kamen Rider was rushing forward and tackled the rogue HumaGear that were attacking and punched them away.
"Wait, another Kamen Rider?" Alpina asked in shock as she saw this.
"Ha!" The Kamen Rider proclaimed, pushing and attacking the Magia that were attacking.
"You two stand back, we've got this," Sougo spoke as he and Alpina readied themselves with their Driver.
However, something was going on with this Rider, they weren't aiming to destroy. It seemed like they were aiming to subdue. "Stand back!" He barked out an order, as their hand pushed the rampaging Magia about until it grabbed the headset and made it jerk about.
The Magia grunted and jerked until it slowed down and rested on the ground with its eyes that were a controlled dark blue turned into a light-blue colour.
The other remaining Magia turned angrily and aimed their ire at this Kamen Rider rushing at it and beginning their attack.
PUNCH!
CLANG!
KICK!
CLANG!
This Kamen Rider, despite being outnumbered, was dominating this fight. It grabbed one of the Magia, throwing it into the crowd which caused them to strike out and fall, and the Kamen Rider leapt up and grabbed their heads, one by one.
Sougo, Alpina, Yua and Aruto looked at this in shock. Seeing this Kamen Rider fight so strongly and so expertly, it was inspiring to see. And Aruto couldn't let his eyes leave the sight.
Reaching down he closed and opened his driver, energy sparking over his form. His helmet's eyes glowed bright, as the red lines around his neck guard began to glow.
ROCKING! SPARK!
The Rider knelt, his body being surrounded by green energy wind.
STEEL!
LOCUS! PURIFY!
SPEED!
"HA!" the new Rider called as he began to rush around at speeds far beyond a natural human, almost like a real wind.
"It's almost as fast as my Rushing Cheetah..." Yua blinked in shock.
"Incredible." Alpina nodded.
"He's almost like Ichigo. In looks at least." Sougo shrugged.
"Hmm..." Aruto muttered, looking at the Rider.
The red lines of the Rider's neck brace gave off streaks of energy behind him, like a flowing scarf in the wind, as he spun around purifying Magia after Magia.
Finally, he came to a stop as the HumaGear fell to the floor, a flash of light appearing behind him.
ROCKING SPARK!
Red lightning sparked them, freed of whatever was controlling them. This Kamen Rider stood tall as he stood among the called HumaGear, the freed HumaGear and took a relaxed breath. He turned to the Riders and to the machine they were in front and stepped forward only twice.
Step
He closed the Belt around his waist.
Step
He removed the Key and detransformed. The Rider was an older man, short black hair wearing a dark blue leather jacket, a black turtleneck shirt, black trousers with silver zips and a brown pocket flap and white shin-high shoes. But more importantly, around his ears were two HumaGear modules. "Why are you here?" He examined their faces in confusion with a stern face...before it softened. "Aruto?"
...
"Huh?" Yua, Sougo and Alpina asked in shock.
Aruto looked at Soren with happy glistening eyes and choked out a smile. "Hi, dad." And ran up to him, giving him the biggest hug, he could.
"I... how did he know?" Sougo asked.
The HumaGear person responded while giving Aruto a hug back. "Facial recognition, age approximation and reactions to my appearance." He answered. "...A father knows."
He held Aruto tightly, rubbing his back "I guess you all came back from the future?"
"I... how?" Alpina asked.
"Aruto." he responded "How else would he be 22 years old?" he smiled.
"Wow. Smart." Sougo blinked.
"Come along, let us go to my lab. We shall talk about this there." The older HumaGear said with a powerful nod.
