Ross Morgan was moving to Whitechapel with his son Ethan and he was not happy about it as he sighed knowing how his kid was feeling his father turned to look over at him and tried to cheer him up.

oh come on buddy it's not that bad look on the bright side you'll get the chance to maybe make some friends Mr Morgan suggested.

well dad maybe i don't want to cause im a loner and i like being alone besides everyone's made fun of me before at our old place where we used to live and i doubt people will stop now since im gonna be the new kid again in this city Ethan replied harshly.

it didn't take long before the two of them were in the town once they saw the welcome to Whitechapel sign come into view so Mr Morgan started unpacking the boxes of their things and started getting settled in to their new home.

but Ethan didn't do much to help his dad though since he sat in a corner while looking out a window just then something peeked his interest as he looked over next door and saw an old woman putting flowers down to a gravestone in the front yard of her garden.

feeling curious the boy walked over next door to the house and knocked on the gate to the garden.

the old woman was startled but smiled once she saw Ethan wave at her oh my hello i wasn't expecting someone to be here please come in the woman said as she opened the gate to let the boy in.

hi excuse me im sorry to bother you miss but im your new next door neighbor Ethan Morgan and i couldn't help but notice you have a gravestone in your yard and are holding flowers as well so i know it's none of my business but is something wrong? Ethan asked.

nice to meet you dear im Evelyn Weir and yes there's a tragic family situation happening right now but thankfully the person is not gone yet so im praying that the person who means everything to me will come back the woman said.

well i know we just met but i hope things get better for you Ethan replied as he hugged her before leaving.

thank you Evelyn whispered to herself as she watched him go.

Ross was confused when he saw his son go off by himself especially being in a new place and all but he sighed with relief once he noticed that Ethan was coming back over to the Morgan residence.

son what were you doing over at the house next door? Mr Morgan asked.

i was just talking to a old lady named Evelyn who lives there she has a depressing family matter going on so i gave her my respects Ethan replied.

oh son im so proud of you that's so kind and thoughtful im so lucky to have you as my son anyway listen i spent a lot of time unpacking everything so what do you think? Mr Morgan said.

Ethan looked around seeing all the decor and furniture in the room and smiled at seeing all the work his father had done.

you did a good job it looks nice Ethan replied.

thanks son well you can go upstairs to your bedroom if you like and check it out Mr Morgan said.

actually im gonna enroll to the school so i can become an official student there Ethan replied as he left the house.

ok well have a great first day Ross said as he waved goodbye to his son.

Ethan was in the main hallway of the school and saw that all of the kids were looking at him so the boy tried to keep his head down as he walked to the main office.

um hello? Ethan asked as he knocked on the door.

ah the new kid come in i've been expecting you now im pretty sure your wondering where your locker is at well it turns out your locker buddy's with another kid who goes to this school Mr G said.

ok thank you Ethan replied as he left the office.

it wasn't long before Ethan found his locker and started putting his things in it he jumped feeling spooked when suddenly his locker buddy came up to him hi new kid im Rory a blonde boy said as he held his hand out and Ethan hesitated for a moment before he shook his hand.

um im Ethan the dark haired boy replied.

so you wanna hang out at lunch later after class? Rory asked looking hopeful.

sorry Rory i can't after class im gonna go play with my lightsaber Ethan replied.

NO WAY I LIKE STAR WARS TOO! are you sure you don't wanna hang out with me we can duel each other Rory said.

yeah i'm sure see ya later but maybe some other time we can play Ethan replied as he exited the halls and went into class leaving Rory there.

just then the boy's phone rang so Rory answered it hey girls what's up? oh we're still going to that place ok cool well i'll meet you guys there he said before he hung up and left the school.

hours later

Rory and his friends Sarah and Erica were now in the middle of downtown walking to an abandoned house in the forest preserve since they heard that it was haunted from the news but the girls didn't believe it Rory did though so they went to go inside but the boy got scared when he stepped on the floor boards making it creak.

come on Rory there's nothing there Sarah said with a bored tone in her voice.

yeah this is lame can we go now please Erica complained with annoyance in her tone.

no not until we prove this place is haunted Rory replied but he screamed in fear once he saw crows and rats coming out of the building.

let's go this place is creepy Sarah said wanting to leave.

im with you Sarah Erica replied agreeing with her.

the trio then ran out as fast as they could away from the creepy house when they came face to face with Ethan who happened to follow them as he spied on them from afar since he wondered what they were doing.

who are you guys? Ethan asked.

hey im Erica the blonde girl said flirtatiously.

my name's Ethan and sorry but your not my type the boy replied simply as Erica frowned from his response.

im Sarah the dark haired girl said.

so what happened where are you guys going? Ethan asked.

we're getting away from the haunted place that's on the outskirts of town Rory explained.

wow a haunted mansion exists here in Whitechapel that's so cool Ethan said smiling as his face lit up from what he heard.

no it's not we're warning you don't go there ok it's not safe anyway we gotta go so goodbye also it was very nice meeting you Sarah replied before she Erica and Rory went back home.

of course the boy didn't listen to the others and decided that he wanted to go check out the haunted building for himself so off he went.

time skip

Ethan was standing on the front porch to the mansion and opened the creaky door as he walked inside he then looked around and saw broken windows a decaying roof and missing floor boards.

uh hey anybody here? Ethan asked as a cold chill passed over his skin he then turned around and suddenly came face to face with a teenage boy ghost/spirit.

AHH Ethan yelled as his eyes widened in fear from what he saw hey im Benny the boy said as he smiled brightly at him.

wait your not gonna kill me? Ethan asked in confusion.

nope im a friendly ghost Benny replied.

you are? Ethan questioned.

yep Benny replied as he nodded.

well nice to meet you Benny im Ethan and im new to Whitechapel since i just moved here Ethan said.

you have a nice name i like it so can i be your friend since your not scared of me anymore Benny replied as Ethan blushed.

sure you can and thanks i like you too cause your pretty kind and friendly for a ghost but i gotta ask why are you in this creepy house and not with your family because from what i can tell you look pretty young for a ghost spirit Ethan said.

yeah i think i lost my memory because i can't remember anything Benny explained as he started getting emotional with his eyes getting misty.

woah it's alright calm down ok Ethan said trying to comfort the ghost boy.

how bout i help you get your memory's back Ethan suggested.

Benny looked at him with shock on his face.

really? the boy asked with surprise in his voice as Ethan simply nodded.

that means a lot to me thank you Benny said gratefully.

no problem now come on follow me Ethan replied making his way back towards the doorway to leave.

ok buddy lead the way Benny said as he followed his new friend out of the mansion.

over the next couple months the two boys bonded and grew closer when Ethan started telling the other boy all his hobbies of what he liked to do and Benny began liking all the same things as a result and they started having romantic feelings for each other as well too and went on dates people did give Ethan strange looks though because to them it looked like the boy was talking to thin air but the dark haired brown eyed boy ignored them as he didn't care what they thought.

while on the sidelines they tried to see if anyone who lived in Whitechapel knew who Benny was but sadly no one did it was almost like the young teenager didn't even exist so needing to clear his head from the frustrating problem that he was facing Ethan went back to the high school to go talk to the school's guidance counselor for help.

Mr Morgan i heard you wanted to see me the man said.

yes sir Ethan replied as he sat down in a chair.

go ahead and tell me what you're dealing with the man said.

ok well im kind of seeing a person who's not really there Ethan explained.

like a hallucination? the man questioned and Ethan just shrugged at the man's words.

look young man im sorry i can't offer you any advice if i don't know what you're going through the man said.

it's ok sir it's pretty complicated so thanks anyway Ethan said as he got up from the chair and left he was now standing in the hallways of the school lost in his head when suddenly Benny came up to him.

so any luck? Benny asked.

no im sorry B Ethan said apologetically.

it's ok E it's not your fault your trying and i appreciate it Benny said understandingly as Ethan gave him a smile.

thanks for being so patient about this B Ethan said happily.

your welcome also hey listen im kind of confused about something why is it that you're the only one that can see me and hear me when no one else can cause i've tried talking to other people around us and they don't react to me being in front of them or talking to them Benny replied.

i have no idea Ethan said.

at that moment Benny's eyes widened as memory's began washing over him and had flashbacks in his mind of seeing an old woman with him who was a family member of his.

wait E it's all coming back to me now i remember i have a grandmother Benny said excitedly.

that's great Benny what's her name? Ethan replied.

i don't know Benny said as he frowned Ethan then put a hand on his arm to comfort him.

don't worry we'll figure it out Ethan replied reassuringly they then left the school and began making their way to the lotta latte cafe to get coffee when Sarah Erica and Rory came up to them.

hey Ethan nice to see you again Rory said smiling.

hey buddy Ethan replied as he gave him a hi five.

wait i know them those are my friends! i can't believe i forgot them Benny exclaimed.

your friends with Sarah Erica and Rory? Ethan asked as he looked over at Benny who nodded at him in return.

um Ethan who are you talking to? Sarah asked looking confused.

oh i'm talking to Benny Ethan replied nonchalantly.

WAIT YOU MEAN BENNY WEIR?! Sarah Erica and Rory said in shock as Ethan just looked at them while Benny's eyes lit up at this.

yes that's my name Benny said with joy.

yes that's it Ethan replied as he nodded.

the trio of friends just looked at one another sadly before they turned back to face Ethan.

what? Ethan asked.

Ethan you have to go talk to Evelyn at her house Erica said.

that's my grandma's name Benny exclaimed.

why? Ethan asked.

just go Sarah said.

ok come on B Ethan replied.

right behind you E Benny said as he followed him.

Evelyn was downstairs practicing her magic spells when suddenly she heard the door bell ring so she went back upstairs to answer it as she opened the door she saw Ethan standing there.

hello Ethan what brings you back? Evelyn questioned.

hi Mrs Weir i came here to talk to you about your grandson Benny because i want to know what happened to him Ethan replied.

come inside first Mrs Weir said as she let the boy in the house with Benny not too far behind them as they walked into the living room area and sat down on the sofa.

would you like some tea dear? Evelyn asked.

no thank you Ethan replied.

well to put it simply dear Benny is the member in my family who is dying Evelyn explained.

WHAT?! Ethan shouted in shock.

it's true he got into an accident while driving to a party and he's now in a coma and the doctors at the hospital they're going to pull the plug soon Evelyn replied.

oh my god i remember it was awful Benny whispered to himself as the memory's of him driving down the road flashed before his eyes the memory then came to a halt once the car crashed into a stop sign and tree.

snapping out of his memory's Benny walked over to his grandma and tried to touch her.

grandma can you feel me? i'm here Benny asked but his hand went right through her.

GRANDMA YOU HAVE TO FEEL ME OR BE ABLE TO AT LEAST SEE ME CAUSE I'M RIGHT HERE IN FRONT OF YOU Benny shouted but Evelyn didn't react to the boy's voice at all.

can you tell the doctors to give Benny a little more time to pull through since he's not dead and is actually alive because he's my boyfriend Ethan begged.

im sorry dear but these past few months have been very hard on me so i've already signed the papers to take him off life support Evelyn replied with sadness in her voice.

i understand that i do but i think your making a mistake Ethan said.

i think it's for the best Evelyn replied.

ok look i know this is gonna sound weird to you but... the truth is Benny is here with us right now and is standing next to me and is begging you to not go through with this Ethan explained.

he's standing next to you? Evelyn asked.

yes and i don't know how or why but somehow i can see your grandson's ghost or spirit and i know it's crazy but i can also talk to him Ethan replied trying to reason with the old woman.

im sorry dear but i don't believe you now i think it's time for you to go Evelyn said as she ushered the boy out the door.

great what do we do now? i know this can't be it and we can't give up but i don't wanna spend my last moments fighting my fate Benny said as his eyes started filling up with tears.

you can do something with me to get your mind off of it Ethan suggested.

like what? Benny asked.

the boys were now in Ethan's bedroom in the bed completely shirtless with Ethan laying his head on Benny's chest as they snuggled up to each other and cuddled while having a hot and heavy make out session.

E i think if you could touch me i might wake up from all of this and be back in my own body again Benny said softly as Ethan smiled at him then the boys fell asleep.

the next morning

Ethan yawned as he opened his eyes and woke up.

Benny?! Ethan shouted looking around his room panicking since he couldn't find Benny anywhere and it was starting to worry him.

im right here Benny replied as he was floating by Ethan's computer chair and desk.

oh good i thought you were gone listen i know how i'm gonna save you Ethan said.

how? Benny asked.

im gonna steal your body Ethan simply said as he left his house and began walking down the street to the hospital with Benny not far behind.

E what are you thinking you can't do this Benny replied.

why can't i? Ethan asked.

because you'll go to jail Benny said as Ethan just shook his head not listening or caring about that.

if something happens to you you think i'll care where i'll be no because by doing this i can buy us time Ethan replied with determination.

ok Benny said as he nodded agreeing with his boyfriend's plan.

Mrs Weir was at the front desk when Ethan burst through the doors.

Evelyn you can't do this! Ethan shouted.

Ethan what are you doing? Mrs Weir asked.

im trying to stop you Ethan replied.

yes because i love him i do i love you Ethan said and Benny's eyes widened from hearing this as he was shocked.

no one's ever been in love with me before Benny said feeling taken back by Ethan's love confession to him.

fine i'll decline Evelyn said as Ethan hugged her.

Benny was completely comatose as his body was laying on the bed motionless and unmoving.

oh my god it's you it's really you look at you your body is healing you don't have any scars you look handsome Ethan said in amazement while he reached over and held his boyfriend's hand.

in his ghost form Benny looked down at his hand and saw it move from the contact.

my hand tingled Benny said.

see you are still connected to your body Ethan replied positively.

ok we gotta go now because i don't want them to kill my grandson Evelyn said.

right Ethan replied as he snapped back to reality and set Benny's body down on the gurney and started pushing it out of the building but being very gentle while doing so but unfortunately security found them and started to chase them down.

one of the guards tackled Ethan for a moment before the boy got out of the man's grasp and took off running but from this one of the guards accidentally yanked Benny's breathing tube off of his face.

Ethan was almost to the exit when he stopped in his tracks when he noticed that he was cornered by security.

HEY STOP RIGHT THERE HOLD IT! the guards yelled.

oh my god E my breathing tube is gone Benny said as he looked down at his own face which was unmasked.

what? no! what can i do? Ethan asked.

it's too late it's happening it's strong Benny said sadly as his ghost/spirit started fading away.

be stronger Ethan begged.

it's pulling me away Benny said as his spirit was almost completely gone.

no don't leave me Ethan pleaded as he bent down and put his lips on Benny's while cupping his face in his hands as he kissed him.

Benny while in his ghost/spirit form gasped as he touched his lips feeling the tingle of Ethan's mouth on his before his ghost/spirit faded away for good.

Ethan... Benny said as he disappeared from him.

BENNY! NO HELP HIM HELP HIM BENNY NO BENNY... Ethan said desperately as he shouted and yelled the boy's name in a heartbreaking tone as the machine flat lined in front of his own eyes until it started beeping again once more.

what's going on? Evelyn asked.

Benny then coughed as he slowly opened his eyes feeling relieved Evelyn ran over to her grandson and hugged him.

dear can you hear me? it's me Evelyn Mrs Weir said while looking at Benny with tears of joy in her eyes.

grandma... Benny said weakly.

yeah Evelyn replied as she nodded.

i think i bumped my head Benny said quietly and softly.

it's ok Evelyn said.

Ethan then walked over to the edge of the hospital bed and smiled at Benny feeling glad and happy that he was awake.

hey it's me Ethan said.

hi im sorry i don't... Benny replied as his words trailed off.

dear it's Ethan you don't remember Evelyn said trying to jog Benny's memory but it didn't work as nothing happened.

you don't remember me at all? Ethan asked as Benny shook his head.

Ethan then walked out of the hospital feeling completely devastated.

some time later

Ethan was used to living in Whitechapel now and loved being there as he finally found it to be his home as he spent his free time hanging out with his dad Sarah Erica and Rory and while all that was happening Benny was in his bedroom playing video games while still recovering from his accident when he heard a knock on his window and looked over seeing Ethan come in from outside.

hi Ethan said as he waved at him.

have i seen you before? Benny asked.

maybe from dreams you had Ethan replied as he gave the boy a half smile but Benny just stared at him.

look the last thing i want to do is scare you goodbye B Ethan said before getting ready to leave.

WAIT! Benny pleaded.

Ethan stopped in his tracks as he turned around and faced the boy.

Benny then ran up to Ethan and grabbed his hand holding it close and tightly to his chest once the feeling and touch of their hands meeting the other's skin happened it caused all of Benny's memory's to come back to him when he spent his time as a ghost/spirit.

it wasn't a dream Benny said as Ethan shook his head.

E i remember Benny exclaimed happily.

Ethan then smiled before they leaned in close and kissed each other.
