Chapter-33
Sigurd, Ruby
"I have some news." Ozpin spoke as Qrow, Glynda, Sigurd, Cú, Tristan and Shirou stood in his office.
"Is it about what happened this morning?" Tristan asked as Sigurd sighed. Earlier this morning, Tristan had been in Nepotain harbor on a patrol. He had spotted some ships arriving from the horizon and had attempted to shoot them down in assumption of an invasion. Thankfully, Shirou stopped him, although one of Failnaught's projectile's did create a gash in one of the Atlesian ships.
"Could you not have looked before you shot?" Glynda spoke with a sigh as Tristan shrugged. "I wasn't taking any chances of the white fang attacking, especially when the memories of The Breach are still fresh in the minds of civilians.
Sigurd frowned, remembering Ruby's decision to shoot the dust crates. He could see how much guilt had been weighing down on her in the immediate aftermath.
"Hey, at least he didn't actually bring one down." Cú spoke as Glynda rubbed the bridge of her nose.
"That is true. Anyways, as you are aware, the Atlesian army is now in charge of security until the festival is concluded?"
"Really? I'm really not one for politics, but are they allowed to do that?" Cú asked.
"In the Vytal Festival, the host kingdom becomes temporarily neutral territory. You can march troops of other kingdoms without the host complaining. But the problem is that it puts people in unease. Atlas has always had strained relations because of its actions in the Great War and attempts to bend the rules of the Vytal treaty to expand its power. So I did not want the Atlesian army to take over. But with our huntsmen being diverted to guard the Breach, we are low on manpower to maintain order in the other parts of the kingdom. The Council is even discussing rebuilding the Valeian army from the militias scattered across Eastern Sanus. But for the time being, Atlesian troops will have to do. Plus, there's the added argument of Atlas' importance to the Vytal festival."
The servants perked up. "Atlas was the host of the First Vytal festival, as an act of extending an olive branch to the other kingdoms. It was financed by Sophia Schnee while Thane hunted for engineers to set up the broadcasting equipment. Later on, Atlas designed the Amity arena as a symbol of unity. So, as you can see, Atlas feels it has a privileged status even when it is not a host nation."
"So, we are going to meet with the commander?" Shirou asked.
"Yes, James Ironwood. He is the General of the army as well as the Headmaster of Atlas' huntsman academy. Although he is brash, he is devoted to maintaining peace and security."
"And will there be anyone with him?"
"Just his top specialist, Winter Schnee."
"Winter…as in Weiss' sister?" Sigurd asked.
"Yes. So Qrow…please in the good name of the gods, DO NOT cause a repeat of the Last Vytal Festival." Glynda spoke.
Qrow scratched the back of his head with a grin. "Hey, she lost her cool. Isn't that against her training as one of Jimbo's cronies?"
"What happened in the last one?" Shirou asked as Ozpin choked on his coffee.
"Let's not discuss the 39th tournament. Everyone except Qrow has an unpleasant memory of that. What happened in Mistral, stays in Mistral." Ozpin spoke. "At any rate, I wish to inform that there'll also be other people coming with Ironwood. So please, behave and do not make me look bad."
Coming out of the room, Cú looked at Sigurd. "So, how much do you bet that these 'other people' are servants?"
"I am not putting that bet." Sigurd replied blandly. "If we servants have appeared all over Remnant, some of us must have come in contact with the other academies."
"Fair point. But that makes me worried. What if there's someone who doesn't like one of us in their ranks?"
"Don't jinx us." Shirou spoke with a sigh. "Although, Is there a possibility?"
Cú grunted. "Yes, if that whore Medb is among the servants arriving with Atlas."
"A berserker version of Lancelot?" Tristan spoke.
"Matsukara Katsuie for me." Shirou spoke.
"...My wife." Sigurd spoke as the others looked at him with a wince. "Enough discussion, now. We'll see who is there."
If Brynhildr was actually with the servants arriving from Atlas, then it would be a problem. Even if he would meet his wife, it would still be under the influence of their servant containers. He ultimately wanted to meet his wife as a regular human, not a spiritual copy of himself. And he did not wish to continuously fight her for the period of the Vytal festival.
The servants then walked off in separate directions, all to their respective work.
As Sigurd walked through the hallways, a red blur collided with his chest and fell back, turning into a groaning Ruby.
Sigurd sighed. That's the 10th time she's crashed into me. He thought as Ruby realized who she'd bumped into.
"Uh…"
"Ruby, one of these days you'll pull this stunt in front of Glynda, and then you'll be suspended from the armory again." He spoke in resignation as Ruby gulped.
"I am so sorry! I've been trying not to cut corners so quickly, but…" She threw up her arms. "...It's just a force of habit!"
"Hm. Speaking of which, what are you doing here? I don't believe there are any classes today, unless you've managed to land up in an extra class with Oobleck…"
"No, no! It's…"
"Ruby!" Weiss' voice echoed as Sigurd noticed Weiss round the corner. "You are not going before her like that!"
Ah. I can guess what this is.
"Weiss, I hate make-up! It makes my nose itchy!"
"No protests, Ruby! If you're seen like this, then I'll die of embarrassment on the spot!" Weiss spoke before noticing Sigurd. "Professor! Please explain to Ruby why its important to maintain some decorum in front of particular people!"
"Like your sister?"
"Yes…wait, how do you know that?"
"Me and a few others are going to receive the General Ironwood at the courtyard. I was leaving to get myself ready." Sigurd replied before Ruby flew up to him.
"Are you using makeup?"
"...No?"
"SEE?! What did I tell you?!"
"He doesn't need makeup, you dolt!" Weiss snapped before realizing the implication of her statement. "Uh, I mean…"
Ruby crossed her arms. "Now there's no way I'm putting that on my face!"
"Girls…let's calm down." Sigurd spoke in a pacifying manner coming between them. "The Vytal Tournament's opening ceremony is today. I think we should be calm." He spoke as his glasses glinted.
"Ruby, I do agree with Weiss. If you're going to meet her sister, you have to look presentable. First impressions are important for both you and Weiss in this case." He spoke as Ruby slumped in defeat while Weiss grinned.
"But Weiss, I also agree that you're going overboard with the makeup. A simple wash and a makeup sponge should do the trick."
Weiss looked at him with reluctance. "No offense to you and Ruby, but you'll frankly make Ruby look like a clown with that."
Ruby paled as Sigurd could see her head conjuring up an image of her dressed as a clown.
"Raidho." He quickly spoke as Ruby found herself stuck to the ground, preventing her from escaping.
"What…?"
"I've given my counsel. Now you girls sort it out." Sigurd spoke walking off.
"Wait, how did Professor Saber know so much about makeup…?" He heard Weiss speak and increased his pace.
Next, he came up on Cú talking to Jaune.
"I'm proud that you finally understood that you're not meant for Ice princess." Cú spoke patting Jaune's shoulder as the boy pouted. "I-Is there no hope?" He spoke as Cú snorted.
"In Ice Princess? No. In others? Morrigan's tits, yes."
"Language." Sigurd spoke as Cú sighed. "He's 17, Saber. At this point…"
"Even then."
He shook his head. "Anyways, take it from someone with experience. If you can't get one, look for alternatives…" Sigurd walked away from the conversation and into his room.
Why do I have a bad feeling that things are about to go very wrong? He thought.
Ruby pouted as Weiss dabbed the sponge on her face. Ever since Professor Saber used his semblance on her, she's been stuck to the ground, completely vulnerable to Weiss putting makeup on her.
"Am I going to be stuck here?" Ruby whined before sneezing.
"Don't worry about that. Professor Saber said it should wear off in a few minutes. Although that doesn't mean you're escaping." Weiss spoke with narrowed eyes.
Darn it! She read my mind! Ruby thought.
"Hey Weiss, is your sister like…?"
"Compare my sister to Yang again, and I'm going with my original plan."
Ruby shut her mouth. "Uh…So what is she like?"
Weiss smiled. "She is a professional. She doesn't lose her temper so readily, and she maintains a presentable look at all times. And she's of course disciplined and strict…"
"Oh great, she's you but even worse." Ruby grumbled before yelping as Weiss smacked her on the top of her head.
"Ignoring what you just said," Weiss spoke with narrowed eyes, "Have you ever put make up before?"
"No! I just washed my face like dad always told me to. Its not like I ever needed it!"
Weiss sighed. "I forgot who I was talking to for a moment!"
"Now that's just mean!"
Weiss' eye twitched as she pulled back. "Hm, you still look terrible. Perhaps a dress…"
"NO!" Ruby's screamed cut her off as the effects of Professor Saber's semblance wore off and she grabbed Weiss by the shoulders.
Weiss blinked before nodding. "I…see. I suppose it is too much to ask. Very well, let's go out to meet Winter."
With that, Weiss dragged her out and took her to the courtyard, which was bustling with students from different kingdoms. Many were talking excitedly about the Vytal tournament, some even boasting about them being the champions.
Ruby did feel a little nervous at how many people there were to give her competition. Some of the Atlas students pointed and whispered at Weiss, who paid them no heed and kept walking.
"Now, Ruby. Don't make me look bad." Weiss spoke with a sweet smile as Ruby recoiled in terror.
Oh gods, that's her creepy smile! Ruby thought before nodding vigorously.
Soon, Ruby noticed Weiss' face brighten up as the girl increased her pace to walk towards someone standing with a bunch of Atlesian soldiers.
They were a woman wearing a white military outfit with white hair in a bun to the side and some hair loose on the other side. Her eyes were just like Weiss, although to Ruby's horror, they seemed to be even more piercing.
"Winter!" Weiss spoke as the woman looked at them with a neutral expression.
"Weiss." Winter greeted back in a neutral tone as Ruby frowned. Was it always like this with Weiss and her sister?
Yang would pretty much glomp me and gush over me like I was a little baby if she were in Winter's position. Ruby thought.
"I'm so happy to see you!" Weiss spoke excitedly before blinking and curtseying with a calmer look. "Your presence honors us."
Ruby stared at Weiss as if she'd grown a second head. Is this how rich people greeted each other?
"Hm, Beacon. It's been some time since I last came here. The air is different."
"Well, they do say Solitas' air is very dry compared to the rest of Remnant, so…" Ruby's head snapped forward as Weiss smacked her. Ruby looked at her teammate with incredulity as she smiled, as if she hadn't done anything.
"Are you here for the Vytal Tournament?" Weiss asked.
"No." Winter replied.
Weiss tilted her head in confusion. "Then, what…?"
"Classified."
"How long will you be staying here?"
"Classified." Winter spoke as Weiss stood grinning. Ruby looked between them, unsure of what was going on before Weiss spoke again.
"Oh, you're going to love it here…"
"Yes, I am well aware that Beacon is different from Atlas." Winter spoke. "How it handles its…bureaucracy." She spoke, scrunching her face.
"Right! I'm sorry."
Winter sighed. "But, how have you been?"
Weiss brightened up. "Splendid! I'm at the top of my class, and the rest of my studies…"
This time, Weiss was the one who got smacked as Winter looked at her with a scowl.
"Silence, you boob! I didn't ask about your studies, I'm asking about you. Are you eating properly, have you taken up any hobbies, have you made new friends?" She asked with a soft smile.
Aw, even Weiss' big sister is caring. Ruby thought.
"Well, there's Ruby." Weiss spoke as Winter turned her gaze upon her, her eyes widening.
"So this is your leader. How appropriately…underwhelming." Winter spoke.
Oh no, she's talking to me now! I don't know how to respond! Ruby thought in a panic. Maybe it was a compliment?
She smiled nervously. "Thank you."
"Greetings, Ruby Rose. Thank you for taking care of my sister." Winter spoke.
Ruby! Don't say 'thank you' like a normal person. Ruby's mind chastised her. What did Weiss do? Oh, right!
"Oh yes! The honor is in my…" Ruby saluted with a grin.
Wait, that's a salute! Weiss did something like… Ruby slightly pulled up the sides of her skirt and bowed.
"...court." She spoke before her foot slipped and she almost fell.
Winter's expression didn't change before she looked back at Weiss.
"Hey, Winter! Where did you say the main entrance was again?" A man's voice spoke as Ruby caught a spark of irritation on Winter's face as she turned around.
A man with spiky green hair wearing grey armor and a red piece of cloth draped around his body walked up with a long spear in his hands and a shield on his back. Ruby froze when she noticed the man's bronze eyes had slitted pupils like Perseus' and Lancer's.
"Rider." Winter greeted in irritation as the man, Rider, laughed. "Still ice cold, I see. You'd fit with the people of Hyperborea." He spoke before looking at them. "So, this your sister?" He asked.
"...Yes."
"Cool. I'm Rider, a colleague of Winter's, pleased to meet you!" Rider spoke as Ruby grinned.
Oh thank goodness he's a normal person!
"Pleased to meet you as well?" Weiss spoke sending glances towards Winter who shook her head.
"Hello, I'm Ruby!" Ruby greeted. "Weiss' team leader!" She spoke as Rider chuckled.
"Huh, you look a bit young compared to the rest."
"Well…I was accepted a bit early." Ruby spoke as Rider whistled.
"Really? That means you're pretty good if the folks at Beacon think you can match your seniors."
Ruby blushed. "T-Thank you." She spoke in embarrassment as Winter sighed. "It's straight ahead on this road. And you're not supposed to go ahead." She spoke in a harsh voice as Rider waved her off.
"Oh stuff it, Winter. You really need to lighten up. Don't follow the stereotype of all soldiers having a stick up their ass."
Winter shook her head. "I still cannot believe your claims of being a soldier. I haven't even heard of this 'Greece'."
"It's far, far, away." Rider replied.
"But still, we have to be together when General Ironwood arrives."
Rider sighed. "Alright then. Hey, could you show us around? I do want to see how things work here."
"Yes, Weiss." Winter spoke as Weiss nodded before leading Winter and Rider away.
"I'll catch up with you later!" Ruby spoke waving before slumping in relief.
Phew! It's over! She thought. Maybe she could go look for Uncle Qrow.
As Weiss realized, Winter did not like Rider. And Weiss could see too. He was foul-mouthed and too lax about almost everything and Weiss had to appreciate her sister's nerve for not snapping at Rider to shut his mouth already.
"Hey there! Are you one of the dudes from Atlas?" A familiar voice spoke as Weiss spoke up.
No… She thought in panic as Professor Lancer sauntered up. Despite his useful teachings, Professor Lancer was a shameless flirt who had no qualms in flirting with students as young as first-years. Weiss couldn't count the number of times he'd tried to hit on her, or the times he saw him talking to Jaune and dousing the already burning flame with gasoline.
Him meeting her sister was a recipe for disaster.
"I am. Who are you?" Winter spoke as Lancer lazily lifted a hand.
"Lancer, snowflake." He spoke, flashing her a smile as Winter rolled her eyes.
"Charmed. Now please step out of the way."
"What? Nah, nah, nah, I'm feeling pretty down I didn't land up in Atlas, if all the ladies are like this." He spoke with his eyes closed as Weiss felt like pulling her hair.
Why?! Why did my day have to get this bad?! If Winter finds out he's a professor… Weiss thought in terror.
Winter narrowed her eyes.
"Besides, you're like a snowflake in the rare times snow falls in my homeland." Lancer spoke with a smile. "And like that snow, you're stunning in those few moments."
Weiss stepped up. "Um…sir, please step out of the way. We really need to be somewhere." She spoke, giving Lancer a pleading look.
Lancer looked at her and Weiss caught a tiny mischievous smirk form on the corner of his lips.
NO! Weiss thought before Lancer spoke the words that would be the end of her.
"What, Ice Princess? Did you get clonked on the head and forget about your teacher?"
Weiss could feel Winter's gaze on her back.
"What." She heard her speak in a murderous tone.
Weiss turned back towards Winter. "So…Winter. Meet Lancer, my wilderness survival teacher…" Weiss spoke before stepping aside as Winter's eyes took a wrathful look.
"You…are a teacher?" Winter asked, her tone a mixture of anger and disbelief.
"Sure am, little snowflake." Lancer spoke chuckling before looking at a raven sitting on the lamppost. His face scrunched up in disgust.
"Fuck off, you feathered monster!" He snapped as the raven cawed and flew off. "Sorry about that. I hate ravens and crows. They remind me way too much of a bitch I met in the past."
"You're telling me you've spent all this time with someone like him?" Winter hissed to Weiss who looked away.
"I…"
"You could have told me!" Winter snapped as Weiss froze up. "What have you been doing in Beacon all this time!"
She spoke as Weiss shrank.
"Now, now, don't get mad at the little Ice princess." Lancer spoke before his face shifted to a frown. "That's not how you treat your family."
Winter looked back at him. "This is none of your business."
"Listen up, snowflake. She's my student. And I don't like it when my students are treated unfairly, even by their family." He spoke in a serious tone. "Is this what they teach you in the Atlesian military? To be all stiff and constantly having a stick up your arse?" He spoke before sighing. "What can I expect from an army of robots?"
Winter's jaw tightened. "Excuse me?"
"You heard me." Lancer replied. "You're scaring the little lass. So drop it."
"Or what? Is this a threat to an Atlesian specialist?"
"Don't think that'll make me submit. With all the high and fancy stuff I've been hearing from the students, I'm starting to think you all are a bunch of sellouts. And I won't be convinced unless you show me what you're made of."
Silence fell upon the courtyard as Winter hand twitched towards her blade and Weiss' eyes widened. She pulled out her sabre and pointed it at Lancer.
"Do you want to see what this 'sellout' can do?" Winter questioned.
"Hold it, Winter." Rider spoke up as he stepped up. "Let me take a look." He spoke as Winter looked at him. Rider gave her a grin and nodded as Winter reluctantly sheathed her blade.
Lancer raised an eyebrow before his eyes widened as his slitted pupils stared at Rider's. "Oh heck yeah, I actually wanted to see what Snowflake can do by getting under her skin, but this is even better!" he exclaimed.
"So you were deliberately riling her up?!" Weiss yelled in outrage.
"Of course, princess. You know I always love a good battle." He spoke. "I haven't really got one for some time. So this should be fun!"
"Good to see your energy!" Rider complimented. "As I always say, 'If you don't laugh in battle, you don't get to laugh in the Elysian fields either'!"
"Huh, another Greek? Hopefully you're better than those twins." Lancer spoke as Rider pointed his spear with a smug look.
"Oh, if I can guess which 'twins' you're talking about, I can definitely give you a better fight than them." Rider spoke before charging at Lancer at blistering speeds.
"Woah!" Weiss exclaimed in surprise as Lancer met his charge by hooking his spear with Rider's and pushing it down before quickly pulling it out and stabbing towards Rider.
Rider pulled out his spear from its position and batted Lancer's thrusts before pushing it wide to counter with a stab of his own.
Lancer twisted his body to dodge Rider's stabs before using his spear's superior range to execute a wide sweep, forcing Rider to hop back.
Rider laughed and charged back in, getting past Lancer's stab by scraping past his spear with his own spear's staff and twirling it to swing its horizontal spikes towards Lancer's shoulder. Lancer sidestepped the swing but Rider smirked and quickly twirled his spear to attack from the other side in a flash.
Weiss gasped as Lancer blocked the blows, although Rider used the force of Lancer's blocks to build momentum into his arms and come back with even faster blows, using his spear like an axe. He attacked Lancer's legs who used his spear's rear end to block before skidding back as Rider struck with a particularly powerful blow from his spear. Lancer stabbed to ward away Rider stepping in and kicking Rider back.
"Ah…" Rider spoke, skidding back. "You're a lot faster than I thought." He spoke before baring his teeth in a maniacal grin. "Oh this day is getting better!"
"Took the words out of my mouth!" Lancer replied, coming in for a stab before his spear bounced off metal as Rider brought out his shield.
"...!" Lancer as Rider's spear point sailed past his ear as Rider stabbed with his spear behind his shield.
"Rider's…" Weiss commented.
"Strong, yes." Winter spoke. "Even if he is rough around the edges, I have to concede he is a formidable opponent."
"You've fought him?" Weiss asked as Winter nodded.
"Of course."
"What's going on?!" Ruby spoke as Weiss looked at Lancer and Rider. "Professor Lancer met Winter."
Ruby's eyes widened. "Oh no, did he get into a fight?!"
"He did."
Ruby looked at Lancer. "With Rider?!"
"Yes. And Rider's actually holding him off."
Ruby stared at them with a confused expression as Weiss looked on worriedly.
Rider turned the tables on lancer as he pushed his spear down and bashed Lancer with his shield. Lancer fell back but quickly put a hand to stop his fall and run off as Rider slammed his shield against the ground, smashing the pavement and sending chunks of stone flying.
Lancer came back at blazing speeds, his spear hitting the ground near Rider and smashing it, sending a cloud of dust as Rider shook his head before dodging a number of stabs from the cloud.
The two battled it out, as their spears sliced Lampposts in half and destroyed more pieces of the pavement. Rider and Lancer had turned into blurs as their weapons hit against each other.
Someone stop them! Weiss thought but realized that everyone was rooted in their spots.
She then noticed three people walking up and her mind calmed down in relief.
Oh thank goodness! Weiss thought as Rider went to stab at Lancer, only for a black blur to come in and block Rider's blow with a sword and push him back.
Rider stared in surprise as Professor Saber stood between him and Lancer, Gram in his hand.
"STOP!" He yelled as Headmaster Ozpin, Professor Goodwitch and Qrow came up.
Ozpin looked at the destruction and massaged his nose.
"Look, Oz, this time it wasn't me." Qrow spoke before looking at Winter and waving.
"Aw, fun's over…" Rider spoke before putting his weapons back. Lancer did the same.
"What is going on here?!" Another voice spoke as Weiss noticed General Ironwood himself come up, followed by someone in a futuristic suit of armor and a dark-skinned girl with purple hair and a black dress wearing a skull mask.
"Rider, what did I tell you on the ship?" The armored person spoke as Rider scoffed.
"It was just a little battle for fun! Its not like you or Assassin could give me any entertainment back in Atlas!"
The armored person sighed before stepping up. "Apologies. We shouldn't have let Rider go around on his own."
"The fault is also our for doing the same thing with Lancer." Professor Saber replied.
"Hello, James." Ozpin spoke in a tired voice. "I do wish if our greeting had been under…better circumstances. But oh well, nothing to do now. Please, come to my office. And Glynda…" Ozpin spoke as Goodwitch shot Rider and Lancer a glare before using her semblance to put the pieces back in the pavement.
"All of you, disperse immediately." Goodwitch spoke as the crowd started murmuring amongst themselves before going to leave. Ironwood stared in silence before he and the others walked off to join professor Ozpin.
Ruby went to cheer in excitement before remembering Winter was there.
"That was awesome! Did you see Rider go 'Hwah!" and then Lancer go 'Wuchah!" She whispered to Weiss.
"Well, I certainly didn't expect to meet someone who can match Rider in combat. Especially a shameless flirt."
"Well, Professor Lancer's strong." Weiss spoke in a timid voice as Winter sighed. "I'll go join General Ironwood. Then we'll talk." She spoke walking off.
"Goodbye, Winter!" Weiss spoke before turning to Ruby with a glare, who gulped.
"W-What did I do?"
"Nothing. It's what you were going to do." Weiss spoke in an icy tone. "Come on, let's go back."
"Ms. Schnee?"
"AAAAHHH!" Weiss and Ruby shrieked as a person suddenly spoke up behind them.
They had ginger hair with green eyes wearing a green skirt with a white shirt. A pink bow was tied in their hair.
"What the…?!" Ruby went to scream as the girl smiled.
"Sal-U-Tations!"
A/N: Here we are, people! Rowan's Shade has been doing great, but now its time to get back to Soulless Plains in the beginning of the final volume of the Vale Arc! Man, I can't wait to get started with the war with Salem after this!
So, I wanted to include some more things in this chapter, but that was getting a bit too much so those extras are appearing in a later chapter. And as I said before, this volume is focused more on the servants than on Team RWBY, so I started it off with a little fight between our resident Irish lancer and a certain Rider who you can guess from the look.
Anyways, Penny's finally here. The reason for that is of course my personal bias that it doesn't make sense for Penny to be left out in the open world considering she's supposed to be Mantle's line of defense against the grimm.
And lastly, I'll be uploading a Soulless Plains chapter before I upload a Rowan's Shade chapter. That's how my schedule is going to work.
Hope you guys enjoyed and constructive criticism is appreciated!
Response to reviews:
Neyl Boo: In case you haven't seen it, I responded to your review in the last chapter. Thanks for the criticism.
ZokuYuujinchou: Thank you.
Siegfriedfan1999: Great to hear you're enjoying the story. I know about the armor of Fafnir part, but I'm not much of a fan of servant parameters because they remind me of the 'gamer system' trope, something for which I have an intense hatred in fantasy settings, so I'm not really following the servant skills and parameters to the tee. Of course, I won't try to make significant changes just to maintain respect towards the source material.
Shigeraki: This is the second review that's mentioned the bait, and I'm pretty sure other people have also been baited but haven't mentioned it. So I've changed the description to just make sure Siegfried fans aren't baited. Sorry for tricking you, I had to put the Siegfried tag because there isn't one for Sigurd
Yes, I know there are grammar errors. I'll sit down someday to correct them.
