Part 1
Fourteen Years Later
Ten years ago, Tsuruga Ren revealed his true identity as the prodigy son of the legendary Japanese and Hollywood actor Hozu Shūhei, or better known as Hizuri Kuu. With the reveal, came sad news where the actor decides to pursue his career to America, however under the same agency. After he left, Japan's eternal butterfly Kyouko-chan also announced her untimely retirement from the spotlight, right after her career rocketed to stardom and no-one-knew why, and no one knows where she is.
As fourteen years passed, Hizuri Kuon is finally home where his career started and took-off as Tsuruga Ren and made a happy announcement to finally and permanently stay. Though his main goal was to search for his missing Eternal Butterfly. His fans from the past as well as hers knew his true and intimate relationship with the actress and his favorite leading-lady.
With the whole Japan especially the former actress' fans on a mission, they finally found something to help his search. "Fourteen and flat six" Mogami Saena who have been keeping silent with the whereabouts of her daughter, made a single social media post where she stood in her usual business clothing and perpetual glare; standing beside a brightly smiling; tall and male version of the actress, with foreign features- started to circulate the social media.
With that one picture made the veteran actor rush and wait for the mother of his lover, outside her office. Never in his thoughts that the cold woman knew where his missing half is, "Mogami-san!" Kuon in disguise patiently waited for the woman, he felt shiver after the mother of his girlfriend glared at him, "I think you know why I'm here... Please, I want to see Kyoko again." He was in the verge of begging in his knees. Saena sighed and pulled out her organizer and wrote something, ripping the piece and shoving it to the actor.
"You get one chance." She snarled and left. Kuon out of shock watched her leave and noticed the paper on his hand; there's a contact and address written, however it was far from Tokyo. With the piece of paper he is now in an adventure to look for his other half.
Wasting no time packing and calling his manager, he frantically went to the airport. Of course with his hard earned fortune at any time he can fly to any country or place he desired after owning his own private jet. It didn't take long when he landed to Hokkaido, now all he needs to do is find the address. Thirty minutes of travel, he awed at the beautifully built modern designed house. Taking a deep breath and pressing the door bell, he heard the sweet familiar voice after fourteen long agonizing years, "Hi, mind if I visit?" he spoke from the doorbell.
A gasp came, "Kuon-san?" And immediately the front door swung open revealing the same beautiful woman he loved. Kyoko covered her lips out of shock, "I never knew you'd get here quickly!" she awkwardly said with a guilty smile. She opened the gate and right away Kuon attacked her with a tight embrace and kisses.
"Where have you been!" he said with tears in his eyes.
"I'm really sorry." Kyoko said in low voice, "I had to." Kuon continued to hug her tightly, "It's getting late, come inside and I'll have you meet someone." Kuon grew anxious that Kyoko might have her own family now and he is intruding her life.
Kyoko still looked the same as when she was nineteen, except she's glowing and packed plenty of figure, rocking her business dress; the fitting garment hugged and molded her perfectly shaped developed breast, hips and waist.
She served him some cold beverage, "You came in a perfect time, I was about to make dinner." the former actress sheepishly said. "Before I call him, I need to tell you something." taking a deep breath.
Kuon is starting to sweat in fear that his beloved is married, "Before you meet him, I just want to apologize for keeping you in the dark. I know you deserved to know, but I do not want to ruin your career after you finally made it, you were just spreading your wings and I want to see you grow it bigger that Otou-sama." She explained and Kuon is finally having the idea and his worries are starting to fade away.
"Aki-kun! please come down here for a second." Kyoko called in a gentle manner and immediately footsteps can be heard.
Soft spoken yet masculine voice replied, "Mimi?" it seems that the young man is still in his process of puberty having a deep cracking voice.
"Sweetie, I need you to meet your Papa." Kyoko introduced and the tall boy looked at his sitting father in surprise, Kuon however sat frozen, he had a hunch after Kyoko has been giving him the hints. However it didn't cross his mind that the boy in the picture with Saena is his own son, he thought it was Kyoko's cousin and the fans were just directing him to ask the former actress' mother.
"Uh… hello…" It was awkward but Kuon jumped off his seat and smothered the boy with a tight hug.
"I'm very sorry, I didn't know…" Kuon's embrace was tight, "Kyoko… thank you." He was over the moon to know he and Kyoko had a child, he was a little upset that Kyoko failed to let him know he was a father and having a son, but the anger went away realizing that Kyoko kept everything a secret putting his dreams and career first, to the point where she quit the second thing she loved in order to protect him and their child.
Clearing her throat, "Mom called me earlier that you went to her office asking for me." Kyoko mused, "Took you long enough." She was actually waiting, Kuon felt stupid for not thinking about her mother as a mode of communication and that the woman was never in hiding.
Feeling dumb, "I thought you and your mother are never in good terms, so I never thought of asking her for help." He sighed.
"Though, I might say... your ways of looking for me years back was daring." She giggled.
"And you thought that was funny?" Kuon chuckled. Kyoko cooked while he embraced her from behind. Kyoko couldn't blame him since they were apart for fourteen years.
"No. It was rather sad, I wanted to call you but you are still starting your career. Knowing I am doing well and managing despite having Aki-kun I am happy." She hummed.
"What have you been doing all these years?" He finally asked.
"I received a scholarship and went to England, I studied in Oxford and managed to graduate law school there, I took the BAR and passed. I managed being a single mother because of my job as a corporate lawyer working with the Nakahara Group and associate with Governor Usui."
"Wait… so you have been going in Tokyo?" Kuon looked baffled.
"Well, I need t have meetings with Misaki-chan." She awkwardly laughed.
"You're a lawyer too…" Kuon couldn't believe this sexy woman who popped him a son; is an international lawyer that works with the Nakahara Group and with the Governor of Tokyo. It finally sunk in and he stared at the amazing woman in front of him, "You're incredible." resting his forehead over her shoulder.
"Can you call Aki? Dinner's ready." She requested allowing the father of her son to have his introduction. Kuon on the other hand did not waste any time and sprinted to find their son.
Stopping by the stairs to turn to his baby-mama, "Which room?" he called for Kyoko.
"It has a name tag, you'll immediately know." Indeed it has, a wooden name plate with Autumn forest design after his namesake.
"Aki?" he knocked twice and he heard a responsive hum, "Uhm… son?" it felt new to him, "Can I come in?" he asked.
"Yes." Was a short answer and Kuon went in. The room looked organized, all gray and black in theme, the bed was neat and crisp without any creases, Aki's walk in closet is much more arranged than his- after seeing the interior from the glass door. Study table looked so much like Kyoko's in the past; full of stationary highlighters, pens and bookshelf with complicated books.
"Can I sit?" Kuon asked pointing at the offered mini lounge inside the boy's room; it went with the gray and black theme; with full glass coffee table full of skateboarding decals stickers.
"Sure."
Kuon didn't know where to start and he didn't want to blame Kyoko for not knowing his son's existence, "I'm very sorry I wasn't there for you and your mom, I didn't know." The only person he can blame is himself for being selfish and going off to live his dreams of becoming a top actor surpassing his father and leaving the love of his life and the one who supported him in his career to fend for herself and raising a very remarkable young man.
"I understand, Mimi told me everything. I don't blame you." He was surprised with his son's response.
"Still, I should've been there." Kuon felt so bad, "I wish I was there to teach you how to ride your bike, to help you in your first fight and even take you to school." Kuon had no idea how to be a father, but he desperately wanted to be one for his son.
Kuon chuckled after his son made a shrug that irritated his Kyoko, "It is okay…" Aki explained, "Mimi was there, she taught me how to ride a bike, took me to school and even sued the bully's parents for damages." Ren was shocked at the last one, "But thank you for being here now." With that Kuon tightly hugged him again. Kuon was supposed to call their son for dinner but ended up telling the boy one of his stories about Kyoko taking him to his scheduled appointment with a bike in the middle of traffic.
Since Kuon was taking long to call their son, she went to check on them and call for dinner, to her delight the father and son are already getting along well. "Are we going to have dinner or not?" Kyoko sternly scolded and the boys raced to go downstairs. After dinner Kuon offered to clean and wash the dishes, Kyoko joined him and started to catch up. It seems there was no more awkwardness or space between them aware that from the start they were never drifted, rather she was just giving him the space he needs to spread his wings and it was up to him to seek her once he was done with his goals.
When Kuon realized, "Fuck!" the actor started to swear after he remembered he forgot to book a place to stay.
Kyoko in concern, "What's wrong?"
"I forgot to book a hotel room and call boss!" frantically tapping on his phone and looking for any nearby hotels or inns.
The former actress rolled her eyes in disappointment. "Are you kidding me?" Kyoko's worry flew away, "Goodness, Kuon we had a child together and you're worried you're not allowed to sleep here?" she put her hands on her hips striking a pose. To Kuon's eyes she was dead attractive even after their son.
With a playful smile, "So I can sleep here?" he asked again.
"Ugh." Kyoko shook her head at Kuon's question.
"So if I can sleep here, can I sleep with you then?" Pushing his luck and Kyoko raised her eyebrow at him in challenge, "I'll take that as a yes." He grinned and tailed her like a puppy.
"Just please call Yashiro-san and Sachou." Kyoko sighed and Kuon gave her a smacking kiss on her cheek. Kuon went to call Yashiro and give him the good news.
The next morning, Kuon finally had a great sleep after years; all snuggled with Kyoko who that evening surprised him with her usual sleep wear; the white thin and silky short strapless sleeping lingerie.
After a long fourteen years, Kuon finally have her in his arms and indeed he gets to enjoy her as well. "Good morning." Kuon started kissing her neck.
She giggled after feeling ticklish, "Good morning to you too, you got a lot of energy today." Kyoko greeted groggily and yawned scooting close to him.
"Well, I get to finally recharge." He chuckled and pulled her close.
"I need to make breakfast, I still need to go to the office and make Aki-kun lunch, he has to go to school." Kuon forgot the important fact that he and Kyoko already have a son that attends Junior High School.
Kyoko left their bed and went straight to the bathroom with only their blanket on. Staying in bed for a bit he heard the shower started and shortly joined her in excitement.
Now dressed appropriately, he followed Kyoko down the kitchen only to find their son already raiding the fridge and dressed in his uniform ready to leave. It was a neat all white three-piece uniform with the school's insignia on his chest pocket. Kuon mused that his son was raised by two' stern, stoic and perfectionist Mogamis and somehow pleased the two women with the, neat, well-mannered and polite personality. "I guess it was for the best. I wasn't a great kid when I was a teen." shaking his head.
Despite being a teen, the young man likes to act childish towards his mother, loving her affections, "Bye-bye." Their son bidding his goodbye, leaving both of them kisses, "Will Dada stay?" his cute way of asking his mother.
Kuon was definitely pleased that his son called him in a sweet and endearing adorable title, "He is, don't worry, when you come home, he's still here." Kyoko giggled at how attached her son is already with Kuon.
"It is scary to think I'm already a Dad, but I'm really happy to have him. Though I worry if I am going to be a good father, am I prepared?" He sighed.
With a soft smile, "I was like that, when I had him at nineteen, I was scared and wasn't prepared, I do not know what to do and how will I care for him, but then, the drive of making sure I can provide, love and be there for him won over and thus I'm what I am right now." She explained, "You will be fine, see how much he loves you already?" Kyoko assured him.
"You really know how to comfort me." Kuon kissed her passionately which Kyoko returned.
"Mother talked to me after I had him and asked me what I would do next, of course I do not want to disappoint her, so I thought what would be the next best thing and she offered me to study in college first so I did; until I got the scholarship." Kyoko further explained, "But after having Aki, Mother and I talked more and she was more involved, she told me she felt the same when she had me, but scared on how she will treat me instead. However the urge of caring and providing for me won her over that's why she works hard to send money to those people she thought that can care for me better than her. But I wanted to be better of how she tried to raised me, so I pursued and been-hands-on with Aki."
"No wonder he is a sweet boy." Kuon appreciated.
Looking at the framed picture of Kyoko and their son, the boy looks exactly like him with bright emerald eyes, except his hair was raven black. Aki is exactly the carbon copy of Kuon except to the short trimmed-faux-hawk hair and there is no doubt that he is indeed their son. His personality however is a straight up stoic Mogami.
After Kyoko left, Kuon was left at home. With nothing to do, he took out his laptop and contacted his boss, indeed the man was furious but after Kuon explained that he had found Kyoko and they have a huge surprise for the man. Lory couldn't wait to know the surprise.
Remembering something, he rushed to get his bag and looked for the small box, sighing in relief he placed it on his pocket and started to browse the internet for a nearby flower shop and restaurant. By lunch time, he called his son for help, he was glad that the boy was on board.
Afternoon came and the boy came home earlier than usual to help his father set-up, "I have been meaning to ask your Mama to marry me for the past years but I never found her. But now that she and you are here, I want to jump into a chance where I can legally make your Mama as my wife and you as my son."
"I'm biologically yours though…" Kuon laughed knowing his son is a smart ass.
Both boys in matching white tailored suit; took a selfie, Kuon happily made it as his screensaver however he has another purpose to it that would create havoc to all his fans.
Writing, "We want the positive YES" he posted their picture online. When Kyoko came home she was confused as to why her house is dark and a line of candles only lit up a path going her backyard. Following the trail of lit up candles she found her backyard was decorated beautifully with hanging lanterns, candles, flowers and many more, speakers blaring with sweet love songs, the pool was loaded with petals and floating floating lights, her son wearing a suit and Kuon in matching outfit. The father of her son grinning into a big smile kneeling.
"I know I am fourteen years late with our son already standing beside me. I know you sacrificed your own career to save mine and have me spread my wings to out done my own father in his game. But most of all, I want to give you thanks for giving me a wonderful bouncing giant boy that I call my son. Kyoko I want to make everything right and official- start a new, we have encountered years of pain in securing our future, but with this, it is my chance and I want to have this family be a whole. Will you marry me?" he asked and Kyoko weirdly looked at him.
"You just appeared at my doorstep yesterday and you wasted no time. But since Aki really loves you, alright yes." She answered and their son who has been recording the scene was laughing.
"Are you really sure it is because of Aki-kun?" Kuon jokingly asked.
"Alright fine, for me too." This time Kyoko laughed, "But really though, you outdone on this one." Kyoko looked around the backyard's decoration.
The young man in protest, "I am not cleaning that pool though." Aki stared at the swimming pool.
"I'll clean that don't worry." Kuon laughed.
Before sleeping, while Kyoko in her gray lingerie tapped away still doing her work, Kuon took time to edit the video a bit and their first family picture. Posting the video created chaos in both social media and news, especially the two latest pictures he shared, one is with his son and the other is where the three of them.
Yashiro his manager who is shocked congratulated him, "Congratulations in both the bouncing baby boy and engagement with Kyoko-chan!" Ren laughed at that comment. With this he can freely flex his new family in his boring social media account.
Few days later, "Dada, when are you going back to Tokyo?" His son asked in a sad tone, and Kyoko from the kitchen knew her son wasn't pleased of the fact that his father will soon return for work.
"Oh… I filed a leave with boss and I asked him for some time off, I never said when I will be back, but for now I want to spend it here with you both. I gave my time flourishing my career and never with my family, so right now with this time I will think of what I will be doing next." He assured his son who smiled and hugged him. Kuon turned to Kyoko who smiled back at him.
After Aki left, "So what is your plan?" Kyoko finally asked.
"I'll pursue my career as an actor, however I want to be close to both of you, I still do not have any solid idea how to handle this since you work here in Hokkaido and…" Kyoko hushed him.
"I'm just here in Hokkaido for a short period; I'll be transferring back to Tokyo next month." She explained which surprised her fiancé. "I'm just here in Hokkaido after Sunako-chan asked me to deal with the legal crisis that her supposed officials are dealing."
"How am I so lucky to have such impressive woman like you in my life?" Kuon asked pulling Kyoko on his lap and kissing her. "Mogami Kyoko, CPA, MPA, J.D and Attorney at Law?" He teased making Kyoko blush.
"Stop flattering me." She gigged as Kuon showered her with affections. Kyoko noticed how great of a father Kuon is, despite missing fourteen years of their son and only knowing their son's existence just a few days ago, his knowledge in their son can rival the years he missed, Kuon never stopped to ask every little detail of their son to her.
One month is soon rolling and the family of three; packed their things to finally move back to Tokyo. At first Kuon offered his future-wife and son to stay in his old apartment, however Kyoko declined letting him know she has her own place and preferred to stay there since her work related necessities and files are in her home office. Kyoko and her son carried only their important and personal belongings since they already have a-well-secured-and-guarded house in a well-known-neighborhood that is being often used from dramas and movies since the houses there are luxurious and fancy. Kuon on the other hand grew a bit of stubble for a month wanting to make his disguise as realistic as possible. He wanted to spend plenty of time going out freely with his family.
Boarding Kuon's private jet, they flew back to Tokyo. It didn't even take an at least two hours and they finally landed, stepping out from Kuon's aircraft, he held Kyoko's hand in comfort. The former actress felt anxious meeting her bestfriends and former Love Me girls, Kuon kissed her knuckles and whispered sweet things to her. The actor turned his attention to his son, "You okay, buddy?" Aki only pulled the bill of his ball-cap to hide from the glaring sun.
"It's fine Dada, I just don't appreciate the brightness that much." Kuon chuckled and ruffled his son's head. Plenty of heads turned to the stylish and stunning family walking their way out of the arrival area, however Kuon did not appreciate the stares coming from the men towards his wife-to-be; Kyoko rocked a gorgeous fitting strapless knee length dress that matched Kuon's navy blue button down shirt and white casual shorts, behind them was their son with his navy blue tank top, and mini white jogger shorts.
Men ogled at Kyoko however upon noticing her hand with a ring and with Kuon beside her was an obvious sign she was already married, plus the fact the tall boy from behind with the mixed feature from his parents stood out like a sore thumb means the beautiful, classy and sexy woman they were drooling over already popped a son.
Meanwhile, "That's them!" Yashiro excitedly pointed after Kuon emerged with Kyoko from gate. Yashiro who was about to greet them noticed the tall boy that looks like Kuon but has Kyoko's hair and stoic feature, the president was stunned seeing them, Kanae was the first one to move and hugged Kyoko, she was followed by Chiori, they expressed their frustration and happiness that their Love Me number one is back.
"This is our son, Sean Julianne Miles." Kyoko introduced to them the boy who gave the sweetest smile to them; Chiori cooed and pinched his cheeks.
"Please call me Aki." He added and they awed at the young man.
"Kyoko did a wonderful job raising our kid alone." Kuon explained with a proud smile.
"Wait… Miles…" Kanae blinked as she realized something, "As in Miles, Hizuri-san's character from your first movie?" Kanae accused.
"Take a good look at Aki~" Kyoko gave a knowing smile and her son being the conspiring spawn of Kyoko gave the same smile as what the character "Miles" did in the movie, this made Kuon chuckle.
"Trust me it always amazes me that he is a carbon copy of me." Kuon shook his head.
Lory drove all of them at Kyoko's place, entering the modern designed home. Immediately her son bounded to the second floor, greeting the house keepers, "Welcome back Bocchan~" one of the old ladies gave a bow, Aki being a well mannered and kind boy returned the same greeting her back.
Kuon mused seeing the wall of the house full of picture frames with their photographs from the past with Aki's childhood pictures taken by Kyoko.
The maids happily prepared food for Kyoko and her guests, "I am proud of what you've become, dear." Lory finally expressed his feeling for his adoptive daughter, "But tell me the truth, are you happy like this? Do you miss acting?" he asked.
"In all honestly, I do miss acting and do what I love, but being a lawyer?" she looked down, "I honestly love it too, and I am happy. Yes, it is stressful, but I also love helping others."
"Glad you are happy on what you are doing." Hugging Kyoko, indeed her little LME family missed her so bad and they bonded throughout that day. By evening, Kuon was watching the little home videos, Kuon's eyes started to water after watching his little son hugging the television and calling him Dada.
"I wish I was there to hold him for the first time when you gave birth, I also wish I was there in his first words, step and first day in school." Kyoko felt bad for Kuon.
"He is still young, you will have more first with him." Kyoko kissed his temple.
Another month later, Kuon was finally back on track and resuming his work engagements. However after his little break, came a scandal revealing Kyoko finally and their son, Kuon was quick to defend and keeping the bad people at bay stating Kyoko's side why she left, Kuon's fans were having both mixed feelings, but realizing Kyoko's sacrifice and her achievements as a lawyer won them over and the fact that their son definitely took Kuon's "Tsuruga Ren" persona into life is no doubt his biological child.
Presently Kuon is on-site taping at the busy streets of Tokyo, while Kyoko is on her way to a café meeting with some of her friends from university bringing along Aki with her.
Pulling over her white Mercedes, she went out stylishly in her white fitting dress shirt with the buttons open and neatly tucked to her light gray pencil skirt; Kyoko's long hair is curled at the tip. Taking off her sunglasses revealing her sharp eyes made her extra gorgeous, men walking can't help turn their heads and trip, "Mimi?" The boy who is following behind in a matching theme of clothing; cute white polo shirt that matched his gray fitting cargo shorts.
"Yes, baby?" Kyoko turned to him noticing his concern, "What's wrong?"
"Mimi, I can't find my power bank." He pouted.
"Oh… I brought it since you left it on the sofa before we left.
His look brightened and appreciated his mother, "Thanks!" he said and politely received the item after Kyoko taking it out from her purse, they entered the café and greeted her friends.
"Sunako-chan, glad you can join us this time~" Kyoko greeted first and gave check-to-check kiss, "Baby, give you aunts and uncle Yuuri a kiss~" she asked her son and the boy happily greeted them.
Shortly, Aki joined the other teens from another table. While Kyoko and her associates started to discussed work and their future week off plans to have little barbecue party at Kyoko's place.
Meanwhile, Kuon's long time manager noticed, "Is that Kyoko-san?" Yashiro pointed at Kuon and immediate Kuon's stressed look changed a wide smile, his co-stars whipped their head to where Yashiro was pointing. Indeed there was the Eternal Butterfly, graciously sitting with a perfect posture and discussing with well-dressed and professional looking people, but what caught their eyes were the Nakahara Group CEO and the Tokyo Governor.
"The crew are still taking a little bit longer to set." Kuon assumed and Yashiro confirmed. Kuon out of nowhere jumped off the barricade surprising the fans and on-lookers and crossed the street to greet Kyoko. Yashiro shook his head and chuckled following him, except he did not jump the barricade but rather asked the staff nicely to allow him to pass.
Kuon went behind her and kissed her cheek, causing the poor woman to jump and give a little yelp, "Hi." He greeted and Kyoko's friends gave them a teasing look.
"Oh… the baby daddy is finally here~" Teased Yuuri and the other girls laughed leaving Kyoko blushing. Kuon greeted them all politely and included him in their plans.
"Aki's here." Kyoko let her baby-daddy know about their son's presence.
the actor turned his head where Kyoko pointed, "Can I take him to my work? It's just across the street." Kyoko nodded since Kuon always love spending his time with their son and wanting to catch up.
Calling their son and taking him to his set, the director notice the resemblance of the father and son, Kuon's female co-stars were going crazy giving all their attention at the tall boy.
Evening later, "Love?" Kuon called for Kyoko who was cleaning up their closet, "Mom and Dad are on their way here." Kyoko felt nervous after hearing those, she knew she was selfish for not following up the failed call after she left telling no one where she is and hiding their grandchild from them.
Indeed her hunch was correct, Kuon's mother scorned her for hiding their grandchild for so long and her supposed Otou-sama did not say anything, Kyoko apologized and told her story; "I honestly called both of you, however Otou... Hizuri-sama's manager thought I was one of the crazy fans, while Julie-san's secretary never answered. I understand why they were very cautious at that time, since Kuon-san just came back and the press as well as your fans were crazy during those period. I also lost my phone when I moved overseas even if I want to call or message you guys again. I honestly wanted to share my son with you, but requested not to let Kuon know before he accomplish his goals and be a distraction." Biting her lips, "I'm really sorry... and please excuse me." Everyone was silent and she left hiding in her home office.
The word distraction stabbed a nail to the actor's heart, never in his entire world would he think of her and their son that way. In fact, if he knew he would have strived faster. But knowing how reluctant and weak hearted his future-wife is, it was her only way.
And because of what happened, Aki their grandchild despised them, "My mom did all those things to protect father, but mom never failed to let me know that my 'father' would love me if we see each other and even told me you were kind, but you're not!" he emphasized in anger and stormed off going to his mother. Kuon was really hurt when his son's endearment to him changed to formal.
Kuon gave a sad look and sighed, "I appreciate your love and everything you did for me, mom, but right now, I missed years of Kyoko and Aki's life. She sacrificed so much for me and did not fail to be honest to our child with her reasons, I hope you understand." Kuon left his parents.
He found Kyoko crying and being hugged by their son, Kuon apologized repeatedly and stayed with them. For the whole week that his parents comes and visit, Kyoko would avoid and leave to her other office, while Kuon's son would lock himself in his room or head to his friends' house.
Kuu and Julie did not know how to apologise after Kuon showed all the home videos Kyoko collected, one of them is where Aki looking through Kyoko's phone with Julie and Kuu's pictures and videos, "Gramimi, looks so pwetty~" he giggled admiring Julie in the video, Julie's tears fell after Kyoko in the clip kept on complimenting her.
Julie felt so bad for accusing her future-daughter-in-law and remembered who Kyoko actually is, in the past she snuck and disguised herself to be close to the young woman and befriended her. Hell they were soul-sisters! She was a brilliant, kind and loving smart girl, but what did she do? She broke her heart and failed to listen to her reasons first, In fact Kyoko was willing to let them be in their grandson's life for the very start, "How can we make it up to them." Julie started crying.
Kuon sighed, "Honestly, I'm just glad Saena-san didn't get involve or this would be a huge mess." Kuon groaned, "She's terrifying and very protective of Aki." He admits after Mogami Saena's frequent visits for her beloved grandbaby and taking him to lunch, dinner or just hanging-out. "It is fine, just give them time, Kyoko had been through so much and I am proud of her for what she has become and raising our kid, it's a lot to take in but just give it time." Kuon advised, after Kyoko came home, he told her about his parents' regrets and Kyoko gave a sad smile.
"Just invite them for dinner tomorrow." She offered and Kuon smiled. The next evening they had dinner and the table remained silent, the supposed boy who has a matching appetite the same as his grandparents just sat there pecking at his plate and avoiding contact with his paternal-grandparents; clearly expressing his his dislike and hate towards them.
The coldness broke when Kuu finally spoke and apologized and thanked Kyoko for what she has been doing for years, introducing their grandchild to them, through pictures and videos, Julie talked how sorry she is in her words towards the former actress and never knew the real story behind. She as well thanked her for for understanding the circumstances in the past where their managers and secretary failed to take the important message.
And lastly they apologized to their only grandchild who remained quiet and still treated them coldly, "Mimi, can I stay with Baba, today?" He asked and she knew he is upset whenever Kyoko's mother's gets involved, Kyoko sometimes was jealous of how her mother spoils and take Aki's side.
"I'll take you tomorrow, is that okay?" She agreed since the boy needed space.
He had a sad smile, "It is okay, thank you Mimi." Julie noticed how adorable the boy with how he affectionately speaks, on the other hand Julie felt deeply envious at her in-law of how close she is towards Aki and the young man prefers the perpetual glaring lawyer instead. After he politely excused himself, Kyoko sighed and apologetically looked at the older couple.
"I did this, and I am sorry." Julie sighed. Kuon can breathe easy after his parents finally made up with Kyoko, but now they are in his son's bad people list.
"Let's give him some space, he'll come along. Aki-kun is a good boy, he'll forgive you." Kyoko assured Julie. They talked how long will the older couple will stay, but to their surprise, Kuu just retired and has plans moving close, while Julie still being a fashion mother and business woman, can at any time change her location.
"Why don't you stay with us?" Kyoko offered, "We have plenty of rooms to spare and in this way you can spend time with Aki, you missed fourteen years with him and that way you guys can be closer." Kyoko smiled in suggestion and Kuu thanked her again.
The very next day, Kuon asked for a day off and helped his parents move in, the poor boy was surprised that his dad's parents moved in with them, but he wasn't that upset after they apologized to his mother.
"Is Aki attending school?" asked Julie as she helps Kyoko choose dressed in her closet for her work.
"He does, but since it is summer break, he will be enrolling to Ouran High School in a few weeks." She let her mother-in-law know.
Julie looked surprised, "Oh, I thought he was being home schooled?"
"Oh gosh no!" Kyoko breathed, "His tutors couldn't keep up with him." She sighed.
Julie stared confused, "Why?"
"His tutors had him take the IQ test and he scored really high, with one hundred ninety-two." It shocked Julie how smart the young man is.
"What are his hobbies?" the woman growing interested.
"Music and dance, I think that is because when I was pregnant, I was watching Kuon's 'The Sad Song' movie." Julie giggled at the fact, "He is talented in instruments and singing through."
"I want to hear it someday." Julie gave a sad smile.
"You will, when he leaves his room open, you'll hear him play his ukulele and sing." Kyoko giggled.
The showbiz world exploded after Kuon and Kyoko released a picture; wearing all-white themed formals, Kyoko in a beautiful strapless white-queen-like-gown, full of sparkly little beads forming a gorgeous butterfly and white veil matching the dress, while Kuon in a handsome all-white-three-piece-tuxedo, both facing each other and kissing by the beach and another with their son hugging them both; dressed smartly in the same suite as Kuon, except with a red tie.
It created another chaos, but a good publicity chaos where Kyoko's fans and Kuon's rejoiced after finally being together after fourteen years later.

Yes it's selfish of both Kuon and Kyoko; Kuon leaving but he has plans to call and be in contact with his woman. But Kyoko being herself, she'll definitely not tell the dude of her circumstance and ruin his chance to be a bigger actor than his dad, especially having a thought of being a distraction.
