Holy heck this chapter took longer than I thought I could make it and I just got back from my writers block.
Anyway sorry for the wait you guys I had gotten sick and got depressed but with that aside I had enough to write this so please enjoy.
The teens gasped as Eggmans machine of his diabolical invention descends upon all of them with surprise. Somehow the crazed scientist was able to recover from Sonic and Tails rescue and now has a new robot up his sleeve ready for another round against our heroes.
"Hahaha I've now found you here but this time I've got you for sure." Eggman grinned.
"Eggmans back!" Tails stood in fighting position along with Knuckles.
Sonic viewed the walking weapon from a distance but knew who it was. "Eggman?"
"There is no escape for you this time Vocaloids, now get a load of this!" Eggman announced aggressively as the six metal portholes within the center of Eggmans crab-bot opened their doors and unleashed a barrage mechanical three digit clawed tipped tentacles directly at the Vocaloids. Tails and Knuckles reacted quickly to the oncoming assault as Tails went for two of them in one direction while Knuckles went to the other.
Two of the tentacles reached for the Kagamine Twins, all Len and Rin could do was gasp as they both saw them coming their way but didn't know what to do.
Tails swiftly swatted away the robotic arm before it could get to the boy Vocaloid.
"Run!" Tails commanded the male Kagamine.
"Gah Rin!" Len quickly and worryingly gazed at his twins direction when he saw the other long arm head for her.
"Ah!" Rin tried to back away when she saw it coming for her but before she could get herself caught the foxboy was fast enough to sweep her off her feet as he placed his arms over her left shoulder and under her knees make the machine appendage miss its target getting her out of harm's way.
"Are you okay Rin?" Tails asked as he ran while holding her up to face him.
"Yeah thank you." Rin held him with both around the back of his neck as she let him carry her.
Elsewhere Knuckles went in front of Luka protecting her as tried to prevent three of the arms from capturing the pink haired Vocaloid. Luka stood from behind him as he struck blow for blow against the three relentless bot-hands attempts to take her.
"Don't worry I won't let them get you." Knuckles said with and intense yet confident fighting spirit as he boxed with the arms of the robot.
Luka nodded and easily listened to the Echidna boy as she was sure he could be trustful.
Miku on the other hand had no one to prevent the one tentacle from taking her. Miku was too vulnerable to defend herself which gave the slithering arm its advantage as it snaked around the pigtailed teen then it coils around both of her arms from shoulder to waist.
Ahh!" Miku screamed as she was in the tight grip of the machines grasp and she was lifted off her feet. With the ensnare a success the arm retracted in order to take away it's capture for the mad doctor.
"Woohoo yes I've finally got her." Eggman laughed in accomplishment.
"Miku!" Sonic saw Miku was in trouble and as fast as he could he rushed in to save her.
"Hahaha now Miku be a good girl and come with me." Eggman smiled as he saw through his window his prized Vocaloid.
Miku eyes were tightening as she tried to struggle free as she can but she could only moves her arms so much and the robotic snakelike arm had such a good hold on her that she felt her breathing easily losing against her situation.
Luckily for the almost doomed teen singer Sonic was well on his way enough as he ran from the field onto the seats in mere seconds and he released his blue aura surrounding him as he fired it out. He jumped in the air with great velocity and set his sights on the tentacle grabbing the girl his age and struck it with his own body headfirst so hard that it broke to pieces thus releasing its tight constriction of Miku Hatsune.
Seeing his chance Sonic hopped from the legs of Eggmans crab robot near his direction then jolted downward back to the other direction in order to save Miku from falling where he had already freed her. Sonic managed to get her in time as he caught her mid air. Miku calmed down as she felt the teen hedgehog held her with one gloved hand holding onto her shoulder while the other behind her upper thigh behind the knees bridal style.
Sonic held Miku close to him right under his chin feeling her green hair brush under his face. Sonic's expression was serious as all he cared about in the moment was not letting anything bad happen to the artificial human girl. Miku's eyes were closed before she could realize she was being carried by the human formed hedgehog boy but she started opening her eyes slowly as she felt Sonic holding her and his head was right next to hers.
When the super powered blue haired teen landed carefully back on the benches of the field he stood up straight and gazed at Miku to check on her.
"Are you alright Miku?" Sonic faced her.
"Yes thank you Sonic." Miku did the same as she locked her eyes on him and without realizing it she blushed.
They both broke up the moment when Eggman interrupted them and moved his crab-bot closer to the two teens in a rather confronting manner.
"How dare you deny me my Vocaloid!" Eggman angrily yelled in his microphone at the Blue speedsters' defiance.
"I see you can never give up after all those year's of me and my friends beating you." Sonic shot back at his enemy.
The egg shaped villain then looked at the spikey blue haired boy in confusion. "Who the hell are you?"
Sonic sweat dropped as and gave a weird look in his face in annoyance to his rivals ignorance while Miku was just watching his humorous response.
"Oh come on Eggman I don't look that much different!" Sonic angrily yelled at the doctor.
"Ugh?" Eggman was still confused but then took a further look at the teen before he finally noticed something familiar about him that he couldn't quite put his finger on.
"Hmn , Blue spikey downright hair, pointy animal ears, green eyes, and that voice. All of that put together sounds awfully familiar." Eggman tried to figure it out.
Sonic was still in irritation over Eggman trying to puzzle together who he is.
"Huh Sonic!? There is no way that's you!" Eggman thought.
"Well it is and yes I am human now as you can see!" Sonic said.
"Sonic a human? Bhuawh haha hahahaha!" Eggman burst out laughing which all it did was made Sonic feel stupid and a bit of anger.
Eggman nearly felt out of his seat giggling when he had for the first time in his life saw his long time rival who used to be an animal now turned human.
"Oh hoh you've got to be joking me." Eggman rubbed off his tears of laughter.
"I am Sonic I just got turned into a human that's all." Sonic tried to explain.
"So you're a human now I see, if that's the case then that means that there must've been some new experiments made by the company." Eggman figured. "For whatever the reason or the project I do not care I am here to get those Vocaloids so either way human or hedgehog you best prepare yourself Sonic!"
Eggman quickly brushed off the new trick pulled on animal eared teen and got back to his mission.
Eggmans new invention used its two crab designed claws for the first time then in seconds aimed them at the seating area where the rest of teens were, this time instead of using it's octopus like arms to capture them it speared it's left and right claws to capture atleast the two female Vocaloids which were Luka and Rin. The two girls found themselves caught between the claws and like Miku their arms and below were held in place.
"Gah!" Luka screamed as she was grabbed.
"Yah!" Rin followed in the same position.
"Dammit!" Knuckles hastily prepared himself as he had his fists up.
Back with the two blue haired teenagers, Sonic quickly carried Miku away from the area for safety as he took her far enough and set her down gently across the field.
"Stay here Miku I have to do something with my friends." Sonic zipped back the other way.
"Oh okay." Miku listened obediently.
The spiky blue boy rushed back to the battle to his friends side where the seating place is and Knuckles and Tails stood in fighting position waiting for a plan.
"Sonic? It's good to see your speed is still working." Knuckles complimented.
"No time for that! We all must attack together in order to defeat that thing." Sonic seriously jumped in.
"Well what's the plan?" Tails asked.
As they were discussing their attack the colossal sized robot brought the two Vocaloid girls infront of it's face, this allowed Eggman to yet again gloat through his window as he thinks he accomplished what he set out for while having the two struggling girls in his robots crab claw tipped grasp.
"Now that that's done I think I'll take my leave." Eggman grabbed the controls of his cockpit and operated the machine.
The egg shaped scientist commanded his robot to turn and leave the school with Luka and Rin taken. Seeing this happen Sonic quickly faced Tails.
"Tails you have to fly me and Knuckles as far up as you can." Sonic told his friend then offered his hand.
The crimson haired teen listened to his blue friends plan then followed by offering his own hand to their young fox.
Tails felt alittle discouraged. "I don't know guys it was too much when I just practiced it I'm not sure if I…
"Tails. Think about Rin because she's in trouble and she needs your help right now." Knuckles interrupted but tried to lift his friends' spirits.
The young boy swiftly changed his expression upon hearing the name of the girl Kagamine and nodded as he knew what he had to do.
Just in time as the giant mecha crab was walking away from where the team was the view of Miles Prower caught it's sight from a distance. The fox eared boy went through with the plan and had both of his older friends hold onto his arms whie he flew them straight up in the air with his twin tails successfully twirling around.
With a very confident expression across his face coupled with some sweat which showed a little exhaustion Tails with every ounce of his energy had kept on the trail of Eggman while ascending high enough.
"Just alittle bit closer Tails then leave the rest to us." Sonic directed.
"Got it!" Tails nodded.
When the three went up high enough and had Eggmans machine right underneath them Sonic saw the opportunity then prepared.
"You ready for this Knuckles?" Sonic faced his friend.
"Let's do it!" Knuckles readied up.
"Now with all of your strength to the fullest!" Sonic commanded.
With that being said both the Hedgehog and Echidna let go of Tails hands in order to carry out with the attack in doing so they dived straight downward like missiles targeting Eggman's tank.
Sonic still had his ability to use his blue aura dash attack so he went on to use that with enough of the altitude to support his move while Knuckles tried to do the same but with his fists as pinkish-red colored energy gathered around both of his twin spiked knuckles.
As the two gathered more and more speed they both glowed their signature colors surrounding them entirely until they appeared to look like incoming comets from a distance; obviously Sonics' was blue and Knuckles was red.
Back inside Eggmans cockpit he was still full of himself thinking he won as he walked his robot off and ignored everything except for the two girls in front of his window he had gotten still held in his grasp.
"Hahaha I did it and after I return to base I get to run some experiments with these two." Eggman giggled.
Eggmans robot was then taken by a big surprise attack by Sonic and Knuckles as their aim was précised and their self projectile attack both hit the center of the back of the machine but with enough force to cause a big dent which resulted in making an explosion from the inside.
"Wha..What?!" Eggman horrified.
Both Luka and Rin were just as surprised at what was going on as their evil captor as they gasped upon seeing the giant crab take a big hit.
The robot was damaged so much that it could no longer hold itself up and was forced to collapse, this meant that everything inside or attached to the robot will either blow up or go down.
"Oh why that Hedgehog!" Dr. Eggman said angrily then started pressing buttons.
Like always the mustached egg-shaped villain was smart enough to come up with an escape plan in case he would lose to Sonic or his friends considering the fact it was more than once it has happened. He had his famous egg pod built in his cockpit area which would detach for the current emergency after his defeat.
As Eggman had his ship separate from his former war machine the sounds of his pouts could be heard before flying off. "This isn't over Sonic! I will be back for those Vocaloids you stupid hedgho.. ..boy, Agh whatever you are now!"
"Oh no Rin!" Tails noticed.
Tails saw the claw that held Rin was no longer clamped and it released the girl upon its body's destruction.
"Yahhh!" Rin yelled as she fell.
The fox boy while spent didn't allow himself to give up helping as he quit spinning his tails and dove like his friends down but fast so that he could reach her.
Rin was now falling in mid air with her back facing towards the ground and her arms reaching upward, she very well could've fallen to her death as the height was more than enough to do it but luckily for her she caught a glimpse of her would be rescuer Miles "Tails" Prower.
Tails was just a few feet away from her but kept getting closer, as he did he reached his arm out in order get her before they reach the ground below and she did the same. Feet then turned into inches as their hands were nearing and in seconds Tails gloved hand grabbed her naturally born human one and in a quick amount of time Tails pulled Rin to his chest and he had wrapped his arms around her in a strong embracing hug. To save them both or her at least Tails turned his back away from the ground taking the Vocaloids place in the fall he spun his twin tails as hard as he could with every last of his reserved energy he may've had left so that he can reduce the momentum before the impact hits.
Rin was shocked at what this fox was doing now that he is a boy and pushing his limits for her safety with his courage and sacrifice.
"Tails?" Rin questioned at the moment.
When the two did hit the ground it was right on the concrete in between a couple of buildings. The impact caused the ground around them to shake abit with dust and gravel exploding out and rock hitting sounds echoed.
Rin managed to recover from the fall as she laid on top of the super powered animal young boy. Her hands were placed on his chest and her eyes were opening before she realized she was fine as she brought herself up.
"Tails?!" Rin gasped then checked on Tails to see if he is fine.
She saw the fox boys' eyes were still closed and his whole body remained motionless. Rin was right to think that the situation was bad when she saw what is happening right now.
"Tails wake up!" Rin placed both of her hands on his face trying to find life.
