Chapter 3: The Dark Mage.
( Olga's Fortress, 5 years later)
Now in the Dark Fortress of Olga Discordia along with her dark elves along with her apprentice. Harry Potter who is now 16 years of age and has been Olga's protege ever since he set foot in her palace.
Our boy now wears black robes with emerald trimmings with a hint of silver along the trimming lines, wearing a emerald ring and silver necklace.
Behind our boy is his pet Basilisk which is his familiar. The ebony colored snake towered above her master, her name is Hancock. Harry's Basilisk, his friend and familiar. Over the years he raised the basilisk with some help from Echidna's snake Keltan. Though Hancock wasn't exactly a danger to Olga and the other dark elves. But the Monsters that serves Olga Including the Orges feared the giant black snake. Hancock was at least 50 feet long and she's still growing if she is fed more monsters or humans used as sacrifices.
Now back to Harry. Olga taught him lots of magic and Magical knowledge. Spell tomes, Rune Magic, destruction, illusion, Restoration, Alteration and Conjuration Magic. She had him go over a few books for him to learn more magic. She even taught him on how to make potions.
He is now her equal in becoming Eostia's Dark Mage while she herself is a Dark Sorceress.
The war between dark elves and The seven Shield alliance rages on this very day and has been going on for years since Harry's time here learning under the tutelage of Olga Discordia.
Soon it will come to an end.
However The Dark elves were unaware that the shield maiden alliance hired a group of mercenaries called Kuroinu to help them in their time at war against the dark elves. Celestine Lucross leader of the seven shield alliance and is the reincarnated goddess and is a High Elf. And the leader of Kuroinu who is called Volt agreed to helping the seven shield maidens while unaware of the man's dark intentions and his plot for Eostia.
As for Harry he is in his own lab that Olga had given him to work on his experiments, potions and testing magic. Hancock his basilisk was coiled in a corner resting knowing her master is playing with his experiments.
"Almost there" he would say pouring the right ingredients into the bowl while mixing it with a spoon.
A knock on the door made him pause.
"Enter." He says as the person who came in his personal lab was Chloe.
"Good evening Harry." She would say
"Chloe nice of you to stop by to what do I owe the pleasure of you coming here?" He asks without even looking at her.
"Olga-sama requests your presence." She would say as the boy stopped what he was doing and decided to turn his eyes towards her as He raised from his seat and decided to go see what his Queen requested of him.
Chloe led him to the throne room while Hancock stayed behind.
( Olga's throne)
Now sitting on her throne waiting for her apprentice to arrive.
The doors opened revealing to be Harry along with Chloe and Echidna.
As they reached the throne Harry bowed in respect to his Queen. As did the other two elves besides him.
"Rise." Olga says as all three of them risen.
"How may I help you. Your majesty?" Harry asks his Queen.
"I detect a Disturbance. north west from our kingdom there are sightings of possible vampires." She would say with looks of shock coming from Echidna and Chloe while Harry didn't seem worried about Vampires he of course read about Vampires and Werewolves in Olga's library.
In the northern part of Eostia where Olga's kingdom resides the north always have monsters and other unspeakable creatures. That Olga would use against humans.
"What would you have me do?" Harry asks
"See if you can convince the vampires to ally with us to fight Celestine's shield maiden alliance." She would say.
"And if they refuse?" Harry asks knowing Vampires might not be easy to convince to join them.
"Eliminate them. If it comes to that, we can't have those bloody parasites to make plots on overthrowing me and my kingdom. Take Echidna with you as your backup." Olga would say as both Harry and Echidna nodded.
"At once your majesty." Harry would say as he and Echidna had left the throne room leaving Chloe and Olga alone.
( North West of Eostia)
On their horses were Harry and Echidna. To see a group of Vampires and gain an alliance with them to fight Celestine's shield alliance.
As they reached to their location. Which was a mountain of some sorts and cave with trails of blood on the ground leading into the entrance of the cave.
"I got a bad feeling about this. Harry. I hope we don't ally with these Blood suckers." Says Echidna who got off her horse and held her curved sword and gorgon like shield watching Harry get off his horse.
"Don't worry. Let's just hope this is successful if not we know what we got to do. We can't allow them to become a threat to Lady Olga." Harry says as Echidna nodded at that as the two went inside the cave.
The cave of course was dark, cold and damp as Harry's left hand glowed as a bright ball of light flared in his hand and tossed it up using his Alteration spell: CandleLight.
The Hovering ball of light would hover around the two. As they walked into the dark cave.
As they went deeper they followed the trail of blood.
As they got there they entered the room with a throne along with unfortunate victims who were killed by Vampires.
"Who dares come to our lair!?" Hissed a Cold Raspy voice as the vampire leader came out of his coffin along with his other vampire subordinates. Death hounds appeared at least 6 of them, two Gargoyles woke from their stone stasis and roared. Two Giant Frostbite Spiders came from the ceiling.
( An: I hate those things with a passion in Skyrim)
3 Vampire thralls appeared and they looked like Mercenaries or bandits and are armed to the teeth.
"Greetings. My name is Harry Potter apprentice of the Dark Elven Queen Olga Discordia, and this is Echidna my dark elf friend." He greeted.
"And what brings you here to my cave human?" Says the Vampire leader who gave Harry a glare with those glowing dark yellow eyes.
"We've come to seek an alliance with you? Sir?" Harry says but the leader cuts him off.
"Broodwing is my name human. Best respect it." Snarled Broodwing with Echidna tensing sensing the hostility the Vampire had as she glanced at 4 other vampires including the thralls and creatures they had at their command.
"So you've come to me for an alliance? From your Dark Elf Queen? What does she require from us?" He would say
"We wish for an alliance with you to join us and help us in the war against the Shield maiden alliance that is led by Celestine." Harry explained while Broodwing gave the boy a cold look.
"Oh? And what's in it for us? Human? I never thought the feared and respected Olga Discordia would have a Human at her side, from what I heard she has a strong hate for humans." Broodwing remarked with a sneer as Echidna glared at the vampire with Harry giving the Vampire a glare of his own.
"I'm the only human she accepts." Harry answered with Broodwing giving a dark laugh.
"How amusing. I bet she's only using you as nothing more than a pawn." The Vampire said snidely
"I'm not her pawn. I'm her apprentice." Harry corrected.
"If you say so human. You never did tell me what's in it for me and my little clan to join your alliance." He says
"We will promise you human cattle to satisfy your bloodlust and offer more humans and high elves once we win the war." Harry answered
Broodwing stared at Harry for moment trying to think should he and his clan join these dark elves in their petty little war. He wondered what it would be like to have dark elves as Vampire thralls.
"As for your offer for an alliance. No. I don't want no part in your petty war and let my Broodlings get killed in your battle. However the dark queen was nice enough to send us dinner!" hissed Broodwing as he and his vampires and vampire thralls hissed and snarled.
"You are making a mistake Broodwing. You attack me means your attacking the dark queen herself." Harry warned with Echidna getting ready for a fight with her shield and sword.
"I can care less. After we've drain you both of your blood I just may target her myself and take her throne becoming the first Vampire king!" Broodwing Declared
"Get them!" He commanded.
Harry acted Quickly having studied about Vampires he summoned a very bright light in his palms. Vampires hate sunlight and thanks to his Restoration spell knowledge he casted a bright light and shot it point blank at the incoming vampires who screeched In horror and pain their eyes blinded by the sunlight this spell was called: Vampire's Bane.
Temporary blinded and weakened the Vampire thralls who are mercenaries drawn out their weapons and charged at Harry and Echidna how dare these two harm their master.
Echidna charged first and bashed her shield against one thrall and swiped her sword at its head beheading him. The other tried to intercept but she blocked with her shield and pushed him off. As they both clashed weapons.
Harry summoned his weapon.
He summoned a Large Scythe with a emerald blade. In which he calls "Deathscythe" he held Deathscythe and swinged it cutting down the Vampire thrall in two halves. As he saw two of the gargoyles growl and lunges at him with their claws, Harry swiped his scythe at their arms and wings cutting them off as he backed off and blasted a Firebolt at both gargoyles burning them the first gargoyle died while the other still remained snarling in rage at Harry as it attempted to lunge at Harry and bite him with its sharp teeth but Harry was quicker when he shot a Ice Spear through the mouth of the Gargoyle killing it.
The frostbite spiders made their move towards Harry who incinerated them with large flames making them hiss and screech in pain as they burned to death.
Echidna Beheaded the last Vampire thrall as she saw the vampires getting angry that their allies and pets were killed by these two.
"KILL THEM! MAKE THEM SUFFER!" Snarled Broodwing enraged seeing his three vampire thralls, two gargoyles and spiders killed by the dark elf and human.
The vampires charged at Harry and Echidna.
Harry slew the first two Vampires with his Deathscythe, Echidna evaded one female vampire that attempted to claw at her as she stabbed its chest and then beheaded it with her sword.
Harry blasted Flames at the vampire that tried to jump him setting it on fire and then beheaded it.
Broodwing enraged at seeing his clansmen being killed he lunged after Harry.
Harry who saw this widened his eyes and casted a Ice Shard to impale Broodwing the Vampire roared as he pulled the ice shard out of him which surprised Harry.
"I'm no ordinary Vampire, boy! I'm a Vampire Lord! I will enjoy drinking your blood along with your dark elf friend!" He snarled transforming into his true form which surprised Harry and Echidna.
The death hounds growled and lunged at The two.
Harry casted two flame cloaks around himself and Echidna as protection against the hounds. As they too were perished when they made contact with the flame cloaks. Now their attention was on Broodwing who is much taller. Big bat like wings. Red glowing eyes, sharp talons, a large mouth filled with sharp teeth. This is the form of a Vampire Lord.
"Harry... you think you can use that Light attack again?" Echidna asks now terrified of what she's facing.
"Hold on... hold him off." He says reaching into his pocket while she charges at Broodwing who growled lowly and swiped his claws at her as she dodged and evaded and sliced her sword into his skin only for the cuts on his body to heal which surprised her.
Harry quickly pulled out a blue potion and drank it. Drinking a magical daught to boost up his magic so that he doesn't get low.
Broodwing backhanded Echidna when she tried to jump and impale her sword through his neck as she was sent to a nearby wall hurt as she yelped.
Broodwing approached her ready to sink his fangs into her skin.
"I bet dark elf blood will taste sweet." He says with a sadistic smile as he opened his mouth and prepared to bite her only to roar in pain when a bright light struck his back burning it.
Harry had used Vampire's bane again which enraged Broodwing.
"Get away from her!" He says gripping his Deathscythe.
"You filthy HUMAN!" He snarled now having his sights on Harry and lunged at the boy. Harry fired another bright light at Broodwing who roared in pain but was ignoring it, he was too enraged to care how weak he was getting from the light that struck him twice as he swiped his sharp talons at Harry who blocked with his Scythe and pushed him back and swiped his scythe upwards at Broodwing's torso who snarled. As he swiped his sharp claws across Harry's torso who grunted in pain feeling the flesh clawed wound his torso received.
Harry blasted lightning at Broodwing which made the Vampire lord flinch and back away.
Harry this time backed away to recover he didn't have to to heal himself as he could see Broodwing get ready to attack him again.
This time he flared a Bright light on His Deathscythe, he added Vampire's bane. This should finish Broodwing once and for all.
"You are going to die human! And when I'm through with you and your dark elf companion I'm going straight to that dark elf queen and drink every last of her blood!" He declared lunging at Harry.
"I don't think so!" Harry says charging with his scythe
"Harry!" Shouted Echidna who was worried for the boy as she tried to get up.
Broodwing lunged and leaped wings span out and dived for Harry. Harry swinged his Deathscythe that is coated in Vampire's bane.
"Your fate is sealed now!" Roared Broodwing.
Harry swinged his scythe.
A bright flash had erupted in the cave as it forced Echidna to cover her eyes.
The light died down as silence had passed.
Echidna got up. As she looked around for Harry.
"Harry!?" She yelled for him
"Harry! Please say something!?" She called out looking for him as her eyes widened when she saw a figure standing against the wall as Harry made himself known dropping his scythe she ran to him and caught him.
"Oh my god! Are you okay!?" She shouted
"I'm fine... don't worry about me... I'll use my healing restoration to fix myself..." He says
"What about the vampire? Is it dead?" She asked as Harry pointed to the now cut in half broodwing who was turning into dust after being cut down by a Scythe coated in vampire bane.
"Come let's get back to the kingdom and tell Lady Olga.." He says breathing being slow and fatigued.
As she walked.
Harry collapsed as she ran to him and helped him up as the two left the cave.
As they left the cave and got on their horses they decided to leave. Harry clutched his right shoulder that was bleeding slightly as he looked at the shoulder... which shows a nasty bite mark.
He was bitten... and now he has to get to his lab to create a potion before it's too late at least an antidote to eliminate the possibility of him becoming a Vampire.
( Meanwhile at Olga's fortress)
Olga would sit at her throne waiting for Harry and Echidna to report back.
Grace brought her queen a goblet of wine. As the door opened revealing Chloe who is escorted by a group of men which made Olga Narrow her eyes with Grace looking worried.
"Hello Dark Queen." Says a Man that wore armor and has a large sword on his back.
"Who are you?" She hissed coldly getting up from her throne with her magical staff in hand.
"I am Volt. Leader of Kuroinu." He says with a smirk.
