Lisa waited for a good ten minutes of non-stop relentless questions, accusations, threats, and gibberish that was so strange that even she couldn't process what they were saying.
It was only after they had to take a moment to breathe as their non-stop interrogations finally made them run out of breath that they had to sit down so they could breathe. After her family look like they were fully respirated with breath that Lisa other something.
"Are all of you done or do I have to wait for another ten minutes of non-stop ranting for me to explain what's going on?"asked Lisa as everyone held their finger in the air indicating that they wanted her to give them a minute.
"We're done Lisa please continue..."said Rita as she was the first person to regain her breath as everyone else started to get their second wind.
"Okay I shall explain what occurred that day although this is speculation on my part I can guarantee the outcome is with 100% certainty."said Lisa until she noticed that her family didn't understand a word she said.
She rolled her eyes as she decided to dumb it down as someone would say."I have a theory as what happened to Lincoln but I can guarantee you what happened at the end is what actually happened."said Lisa has everyone let out a sound that indicated they understood what she was saying.
"How did you figure it out Lisa?"asked Luna as she wondered how Lisa succeeded where some of the greatest detectives in Michigan failed.
"I can tell you it was not an easy puzzle to assemble but after confirming it with someone who I never suspected and thanks to his cooperation I have finally put all the pieces together and have managed to put together what happened."said Lisa as Albert stepped into the Loud House.
"Dad?"said Rita who didn't understand why her father was at their home as he didn't indicate he was going to visit.
"Lisa I'm assuming this is my cue to walk in."
"You are actually right on time Pop Pop as I was just about to call you in."said Lisa has Albert walk to the part of the living room where he could face everyone.
"Albert what is going on?"asked Lynn Sr wondering how this involved his father-in-law.
Albert took a deep breath before he looked everyone in the eye with a serious expression to which many were confused as it was rare for him to be so serious.
"Before I tell you all what happened to Lincoln I need to reveal some secrets I've kept from everyone minus your late mother Rita that I didn't want to talk about but after what Lisa told me and from what we came up with I feel it is time I revealed to you all what I have been hiding all this time."said Albert as Rita didn't understand what her father meant as it was not usually in his nature to keep secrets.
"Dad what are you talking about?"asked Rita as Albert took a deep breath before saying something that none of them would ever forget.
"I am not from this world."said Albert slowly and carefully so that everyone could understand... it took him only a few seconds to process everything he said and they all came to say one thing.
"WHAT?!"
"Pop Pop are you an alien?"asked Lori as that was the most logical conclusion she could come up with.
"No I'm not. I am human I'm just from another world."said Albert as he knew sooner or later his secret was going to come out so he decided to be ahead of it.
"Pop Pop what are you saying?"asked Leni as nothing her beloved grandfather was saying made any sense.
"I ended up in this world thanks to an ocean where the laws of physics and anything that is considered common sense does not apply."said Albert as his daughter looked at him.
"Dad why didn't you say anything all this time?"asked Rita who knew her father well enough to know that he was not a liar but now she was wondering why he kept this from the whole family for so long.
"I was so lost and confused until I met your mother and even though I told her everything she accepted me for who I was. I ended up taking her name as I felt like there was no way I could return to my old world so my old name meant nothing to me anymore. After a while I began to question if anything I remembered before I met your mother was even real and it was only after Lisa came to me with everything then I realized it was... I didn't mean to hide anything from you Rita it was just easier to keep everything to myself as... honestly I wasn't so sure until yesterday if anything I remembered was even remotely true."said Albert as his family looked at him with shock and understanding.
It wasn't that he meant to keep a secret from his family it's just he wasn't sure if anything he remembered was remotely true.
"Dad I understand but what do you know."said Rita who wanted to know how this all tied to Lincoln so Albert took a deep breath as he knew he needed to start from the beginning so that everyone would understand.
"My real name is Monkey D Albert and I'm originally from a place known as the East Blue. I joined the military force that keeps that world safe along with my brother Monkey D Garp. We were young Marines just barely starting out our careers in the ocean I was telling you about called the Grand Line. I was stationed in a unit under my brother who had risen through the ranks faster than I did as he was a vice admiral while I was still a rear admiral. After a certain incident involving a group of pirates known as the Rocks Pirates there was a massive battle where I ended up falling into the sea during said battle after the cabin boy of the Rocks Pirates hit me so hard I ended up falling into the ocean. The Grand Line is an ocean where the laws of physics don't make sense! Before I could call out for help I was dragged into some powerful whirlpool that must have been filled with some kind of strange energy and before I knew it I was cold wet and alone somewhere near the outskirts of Royal Woods. The only things I had left on me was my Marine uniform and a locket that had a picture of me and Garp after we graduated from the Marine academy."said Albert as he pulled out his raggedy old Marine uniform from all those years ago.
"Dad."said Rita as she and the rest of the family went to hug him as they clearly saw any expression in his face that it probably wasn't easy for him.
After all they can only imagine the confusion and fear he felt after finding himself in a world so different from his own and having no way to figure out where he even ended up there in the first place or how to get back to his world. It certainly didn't help that he had family and that other world and he had no idea if they were even still alive.
"So what does this all have to do with Lincoln?"asked Lola as she wanted everyone to get back on subject.
"I will take it from here Pop Pop."said Lisa is everyone took their seats as Lisa walked to where her grandfather was so she could face everyone.
"As we all know Lincoln went to Pop Pop that day to calm down and after an inventory check of Pop Pop's personal belongings our grandfather gave Lincoln the locket that had a picture of him and our unknown great uncle Garp."said Lisa is her family still wondered where this was all going.
"Lisa can you please get to the point already?"asked Lynn as she wanted to find out what they were getting to already!
"I am just getting to that!"said Lisa with an annoyed tone as Lynn was scolded and told to be quiet until Lisa was finished.
"Now as I was getting to before I was interrupted there is actually several factors that came into play. First was the fact that Lincoln was helping me test out a watch that with proper calculations and a proper power source would allow me to access other worlds."said Lisa as everyone began to recall that Lincoln indeed had a watch that day now that they thought of it as they found it unusual as he usually never wore a wrist watch.
"So what is your wormhole watch thingie have to do with Lincoln's disappearance?"asked Leni as pretty much everyone else was thinking the same thing.
"You see the locket was never cleaned ever so it still had residue from that ocean known as the Grand Line and as we all know it was raining that day around the time Lincoln was walking back to our house."said Lisa before she took a deep breath as she was reaching the climax.
"Pop Pop told me that when Lincoln left he was holding the locket in his left hand that had my experimental wormhole wrist watch. I can say though a highly investigated hypothesis that during the rain Lincoln started to get wet and as he was trying to duck for cover the residue that was on the locket started falling onto the wrist watch. Said wristwatch started to go haywire as it wasn't waterproof and after I identifying the ocean residue from the locket I suspect that it malfunctioned and teleported Lincoln to Pop Pop's original world."said Lisa as everyone's eyes widen upon hearing what she said.
They quickly deduce what Lisa was saying and did they not like it!
Thanks to Lisa's wormhole wrist watch and the residue from their grandfathers locket their brother, Lincoln Loud ended up getting teleported to their father/father-in-law / grandfather's original world as the device must have identified the residue when it went hey wire and it teleported Lincoln!
"Lincoln is in another world?!"said Luan upon coming to that realization.
"Oh no!"said the twins at the same time m
"We have to do something!"said Lucy as she was worried something bad might have happened to Lincoln in that other world.
"Yeah but what are we going to do."said Lana as Lisa pulled out a whistle and blew it as loud as she could so everyone would grow silent.
As soon as she was satisfied that everyone was silent did Lisa decide to speak again.
"Anyway as I said that other world is where Lincoln is most likely at but the good news is I have a way to bring him back."said Lisa as everyone leaned in carefully so they could hear what she said next.
"After building another watch and as of yesterday getting the power source for said wrist watch along with grandfather's old Marine uniform I suspect that I can reverse the effect and bring Lincoln home."said Lisa as everyone quickly grabbed her and started head towards her lab.
"Well what are you waiting for let's hop to it."said Leni who couldn't wait to see her little brother again.
"WAIT!"said Lisa causing everyone to turn their attention towards her just before they were going to go up the stairs.
"There are two things I have to warn you about."said Lisa as they put her down.
"What two things?!"asked Lucy although she was feeling she was not going to like the answer.
"According to my research of the known Multiverse, not all worlds work on the same time basis as one day for us could be a year in another world or a second in another world. I I'm not certain but I believe a large amount of time has passed in that other world so most likely the Lincoln we will bring back is older."said Lisa is everyone was not comfortable with that news.
"Are you saying the Lincy we bring back is not the Lincy we will remember?"asked Leni with a sad puppy dog face.
"Lisa are you sure about this?!"asked Lori even though she knew when it came to science Lisa was hardly ever wrong, but in this case she hope that she was wrong.
"I'm not sure but there is more than 50% certainty that that is the case. But let us not forget that no matter how much time has passed he is still our brother."said Lisa who had dabbled in enough psychology to know that reassurance was the best thing to do in situations like this.
"She is not wrong because no matter how much time passes he's most likely still my big brother we know and love."said Lola even though the expression on her face made it look like she wasn't totally certain.
"We can only hope and Great Grandma Harriet agrees."said Lucy although by the way she was gripping her arm she hoped that wasn't the case.
"Let's just try to fork this out guys..."joked Luan although based on the fact she didn't laugh at her own joke made her appear to look like she was very nervous.
"Let's just hope everything will work out."said Lynn Sr hoping that Lincoln will come back like the Lincoln they remember.
"Poo poo."said Lily in agreement with the others.
"Okay Lisa what's the second thing you have to inform us about?"asked Lynn as Lisa rubbed her arm a little before looking her family straight in the eye.
"I found out through some tests that anything that goes through the portal without protection of a special polymer will be affected greatly with body and personality."said Lisa as everyone looked at her as they didn't take a genius to understand what she meant.
Because Lincoln went through a portal to that other world without that special full body suit she was talking about his body and personality were most likely different from the one they remembered.
"Lisa...!"said Lori as she and the others were about to yell at Lisa before Albert stood in front of Lisa.
"This is not Lisa's fault as this was nothing more than an accident that we had no idea was in the making. All of us played a role in what happened to Lincoln so I will not allow any of you to single out anyone just to make yourself feel better!"said Albert as everyone looked at each other before a look of shame came on their face as they realized that they were about to take out their anger on Lisa for something that was nothing more than an accident.
"Sorry Lisa..."said her family who couldn't believe that they were about to scold Lisa for something that wasn't completely her fault as all of them had a role so they had no right to blame her.
"It's okay as all of you are only human so I understand your anger."said Lisa even though she herself blames herself as well.
"Lincoln is Lincoln and nothing is going to change that. Now how about we calmly and in an orderly manner head up to Lisa's lab and bring my grandson back to our world."said Albert as everyone nodded their head and started walking up the stairs with him and Lisa being the ones at the end.
"Let's hope this works."said Lisa she know that over 90% of science was trial and error.
"I have a feeling that it's going to work."said Albert as Lisa smiled before following him up the stairs.
Once everyone was in Lisa's room did Lisa place the second wormhole wrist watch into what look like some high-tech laser gun. Next Lisa took the Marine uniform from her grandfather and placed it into what looked like a high-tech scanner.
"Lisa what is that device?"asked Rita as she never saw that device before today.
"This device will scan the residue from the Marine uniform that also has never been washed and try to identify the unique resource of the strange properties of the ocean known as the Grand Line. Next the device that looks like a ray gun will amplify the signal and hopefully lock in on DNA similar to our grandfather. If this works we should be able to bring back Lincoln."said Lisa as she noticed that many did not like her choice of words.
"Remember everyone science is not 100% perfect so we can only hope that it works."said Albert and her defense as everyone perked up and agreed with him.
"Okay everyone let's get ready to welcome Lincoln back!"said Leni with a determined smile on her face.
"Yeah!"said everyone else as they had similar determined smiles on their faces as Lisa activated the device.
Soon the device that look like a scanner began scanning the Marine uniform before cutting out a a piece of cloth and dabbing it in water. Next the water was drained out of what looked like a tube that went directly into the ray gun. Next the ray gun look like it was scanning something and before long the screen on the ray gun said scan complete before it began to warm up as the chamber part of the ray gun began to look like it was heating up.
Everyone in the room was holding their breath as the ray gun was charging up as many of them were crossing their fingers and hoping that this would work and they would see their brother/son again!
Finally after an agonizing five minutes of warming up did the gun fire into the wall of Lisa and Lily's bedroom and soon a portal straight out of a sci-fi movie appeared on the wall. Everyone appeared to be relieved as it appeared like it was working before Lisa's device looked like it was starting to malfunction!
"Lisa what is happening?!"asked her father as he noticed that the portal seem to be becoming tangible as electricity was shooting out of the ray gun and scanner.
"I don't know I think there is a malfunction!"said Lisa before the portal grew big and sucked in both devices as they were going hey wire! As soon as they made contact with the portal did an inward explosion into the portal occurred causing the portal to create a powerful flash of light causing everyone to cover their eyes as a loud booming sound was heard!
The sound only lasted a second but it hurt everyone's ears as they could hear a tingling sound as many of them fell to the ground as smoke began to fill the room. Lisa was the first one to get up and open a window to let the smoke out as everyone was regaining their hearing.
"Where...am...I?"asked an unfamiliar voice as everyone turn to where the portal once stood and saw someone they didn't recognize
There weather portal once was was a young man who look like he was barely out of his teens who stood about 5 ft 9 in tall. He was wearing an open orange shirt with frilly ends on the sleeves and hem, Blue jean shorts held to his waist by a yellow sash. One his feet were simple sandals and on his head was a strawhat.
He was noticeably muscular and he had two noticeable scars. One scar under his left eye and a huge x-shaped scar right on his chest area. Many members of the Loud family wondered who this person was as they didn't recognize him until the gold hearted member of the family noticed his neck length scruffy white hair.
"Lincoln..."said Leni nervously as the young man looked at them.
"Leni?"said the young man with confusion as every member of the family looked at him with wide eyes.
He was older and taller but there was no doubt who he was!
There standing in front of them was without a doubt Lincoln Loud, their brother and son!
