"Lincoln what are you thinking?!"said Lori with rage.
"We just got you back and have the nerve to say that!"said Leni with tears in her eyes
"Lincoln what on Earth is up with you!"said Luna through gritted teeth.
"This is so not funny!"said Luan with her fists clenched.
"You better take back what you said!"said Lynn with her fist closed, looking like she was ready to knock some teeth out.
"No I won't."said Lincoln nonchalantly as he was using one of his pinky fingers to clean out his ear.
"Why?!"asked Lola with tears and anger as Lincoln look like he pulled something out of his ear but he flicked it away.
"Because my crew is waiting for me. I made a promise that we would find One Piece together and that I would help the others achieve their dreams."said Lincoln with gusto.
"Lincoln Marie Loud we are your family!"said Rita with anger as they were finally together again in Lincoln wanted to leave.
"My name is Monkey D Lincoln and my crew are my family as well. We have lived together, eaten together, struggled together, and fought together side by side with blood, sweat, and tears! My crew had my back for everything during my journey as I can't navigate, I can't repair a ship for nothing, I also can't use a sword or gun with any skill at all! My crew is the only reason I'm alive today as they would willingly give their lives for me like I would for them!"said Lincoln with great will and determination as his family looked at him absolutely stunned by what Lincoln just said.
Not a single one of them could argue with what Lincoln had just said. Many of them could tell just by his words alone that not only did Lincoln consider his pirate crew his crewmates, but more than anything his friends and family! They could tell that he trusted them with every fiber of his being and would gladly die for them with his crew probably doing the same for him. Albert knew better than anyone how loyal a crew can become with one another after spending time with one another and have each others backs through the thick and thin. Garp, Himself, Sengoku, Tsuru were just a hand full of people during his time with the Marines that he would have gladly fought alongside with hand and hand and died for.
Albert knew the same thing went for pirate crew as even they had a sense of honor and it was considered taboo to go against the crew and more so to kill a fellow crewmate!
"Lincoln-!"began Rita as Albert placed his hand on her shoulder to stop her.
"Dad-!"
"Don't brother Rita. No matter what you say to him, no matter how much you scold him and ground him, nothing will change his mind. I can tell from the look in his eyes that he has seen many things and has experienced great pain, both physical and mental. Nothing you or the others say will change his mind as his conviction is absolute and no matter what we say he will do everything in his power to get back to his crew."said Albert as any shackles holding Lincoln to this world were probably long gone.
"But Pop Pop we just got him back!"argued Lola, who did not want to lose Lincoln again.
"Sweetie men are simple creatures. We fight with our greatest enemies and then the next thing we know we're sharing a drink with them. Our hearts are simple as we don't desire much in life. But for some of us we know that destiny, fate, dreams are unstoppable ideals that are ingrained in it the hearts of man, and as long as there are people searching for freedom in this life those ideals will never vanish from the Earth."said Albert as everyone was absolutely stunned by his words while Lucy was writing down what he was saying as she could use his words for future poetry.
"Me and Garp pursued our dreams to become Marines like our old enemy Roger pursued his dream to conquer the world. Men are simple creatures that will pursue their dreams to the very edges of the Earth. Many will give up their dreams as the summit is too far away but others will climb no matter how many hurdles are in front of them. It doesn't matter if they keep falling back down as they'll keep climbing back up. Lincoln has the Will Of D flowing through his body as I can tell that he long ago threw away being afraid as hesitation and fear will get in the way of his dreams. His crewmates will help them pursue that dream and he will do the same for them and their dreams."said Albert as not a single person in his family could argue with him.
This Lincoln before them wasn't the big fraidy cat they remembered several months ago. They could tell by the look in his eyes and how he stood up to mom that he was not afraid to stand up for himself or for what he believed was right.
"Yeah! I promised my crew that I would help them achieve their dreams when they came aboard. All of them are the reason I'm still alive as we all managed to defy the odds over and over again and despite coming so close to death so many times we have managed to come out of the frey alive."said Lincoln as he could remember how many times he was punched, kicked, shot, bludgeoned, stabbed, or burned during his many adventures with his fellow members of the Strawhat Pirates.
They had defeated several members of the Seven Warlords of the Sea! They declared war against the World Government in order to protect their friend! He has even challenged one of the Four Emperors with plans of saving his friend's country from that Emperor's tyrannical rule!
Rita and Lynn Sr meanwhile looked at each other with deep thoughts coursing through both of them as they turned around to face Lincoln.
"Lincoln are you sure you want to go back to that world. Your family is here and although you're different from the Lincoln we remember you are still our son. We need you."said Rita hoping to talk some sense into her son.
"Yeah your Lincoln Loud! The man with the plan who loves peanut butter and sauerkraut sandwiches and helping out your sisters any way you can."added Lynn Sr with a pleading look.
Lincoln took a deep breath as he looked his parents straight in the eye.
"Mom, Dad I understand where you are coming from. But I have to go back to the Grand Line! I promised Shanks that I would become a great pirate and return his straw hat to him when we meet again! I promised many loved ones of my crewmate that I would do everything in my power to keep them alive and safe! I'm an idiot who is not good at anything by himself but I am a man! What can I say to my crew?! Oh sorry my long lost family has brought me back home and I can't go back to our adventures...They would never accept that answer in a million years! When a man makes I promise, not even death can be used as an apology! When a man makes a promise he doesn't stop fighting until he fulfills that promise!"blurted out Lincoln with determination as his family was absolutely speechless at his words.
They could see in his eyes that he loved his crew and they loved him back! They could only imagine what they had went through to make them so close to one another that they are practically like family and all but blood!
Lynn Sr was brought to tears as he could not imagine that his son who had disappeared for a few months came back to be one heck of a man! He couldn't argue with his son's logic as truth be told he believes absolutely the same thing. He keeps his promises and even if the odds of keeping that promise are next to impossible he doesn't stop fighting!
Albert just smiled as he saw a bit of his younger self in his grandson. He also saw Garp and Sengoku's spirit of moral Justice flowing through Lincoln. He also saw Roger's will in Lincoln as he could have sworn for a second he imagined Roger in Lincoln's place.
Rita couldn't mutter any words. As much as she didn't want her son to go, she could see no fault in his logic. It pains her to admit it but she is actually kind of proud of the determination Lincoln has to reunite with his friends and to continue going on adventures with them.
'My baby boy has become a real man in the short amount of time we have been apart. It makes me sad has Lincoln has grown so much in that time we have not been together and none of us were there to see it.' thought Rita as material fell down her face but she quickly wiped it away.
"Lincoln... I know no matter what we say we cannot change your mind... but please for a short while can we be a family again... even if it's just for a little while"said Rita surprising her daughters as they couldn't believe she of all people was giving Lincoln her blessing.
Lola and Lynn were about to say something when Lori and Leni stopped them in their tracks.
"We have to respect Lincoln's decision."said Lori as many of her sisters were shocked as Lori was usually the most stubborn.
"Lori!"said Luan with shock as Lori shook her head.
"Lincoln has grown a lot since we have last seen him. It isn't right for any of us to stand in his way of his dream, especially when he's always been there helping us achieve ours."said Lori as none of them could argue with that.
"Lori's right guys. Lincoln has always been there for us helping us out every step of the way for our dreams, so the least we can do is help him achieve his dream by helping him become King of the Pirates."said Leni as tears fell down her face as it was clear that she was not fine with this decision even if she knew it was the right decision.
"They're right dudes. We have no right to stand in the way of his dream."said Luna who decided to support Lincoln.
"I can't believe you guys!"said Lola with tears that she ran up the stairs.
"Yeah what she said!"said Lynn she ran up the stairs as well.
"This isn't funny you guys!"said Luan, who like her sisters before her ran up the stairs.
"Give them time. I'm sure they'll come to realize that accepting Lincoln's decision to go back is the right decision no matter how much it hurts them."said Lucy who appeared behind Lincoln scaring everyone except Lincoln.
"Man they really haven't changed..."said Lincoln who felt like it was going to take a while before they could accept his decision.
"I'm surprised you're going along with this Lucy."said Lana as Lucy walk towards her.
"I'm not okay with it but their rights when they say that Lincoln has the right to pursue his dream."said Lucy as although she didn't want to lose Lincoln she couldn't stand in the way of his dream.
"Yeah I feel the same way but there's nothing I can do."said Lana who felt like she needed to talk to Lola and hopefully convince her to change her mind.
"Poo poo."said Lily although she didn't fully seem to grasp the situation.
"Unfortunately the special power source for my device will take some time to acquire. Not to mention that I have to reconstruct a device from scratch so it will take some time. In the meantime elder male sibling I suggest you stay with us since you really don't have anywhere else to go."said Lisa as Lincoln pondered on this.
"You have a point. It's not like you can rush things if your device is broken. Sure, I'll stay with you guys for the time being until the device is fixed."said Lincoln as his family let out a side of relief that he was staying... at least for the meantime.
"So... Lincoln... can you tell us about your crew?"asked Lana and she has been curious about these friends Lincoln has made that he trusts with his life.
"Sure, I don't mind talking about them."said Lincoln as everyone took a seat as they were curious as to what kind of people were in Lincoln's pirate crew.
"Let me start off with the first guy to join my crew. His name is Roronoa Zoro, and his dream is to be the number one swordsman of that world. He uses the three sword style technique."began Lincoln as one of them did a double take.
"Three swords?"asked Lisa wondering how someone could hold three swords.
"He holds two swords in both of his hands and one in his mouth. All of his swords were made by master sword makers and are some of the strongest weapons of that world. The sword that he usually holds in his mouth is Wado Ichimonji, it's super durable. The next sore that he usually holds in his left hand is Sandai Kitetsu, it is a cursed sword that likes to cut anything and everything but Zoro has managed to get control over it."said Lincoln as Lucy was interested as soon as she heard cursed sword.
"The final sword that he usually holds in his right hand is called Shusui, it is crazy sharp and durable. He got that sword after defeating a zombie Samurai in a duel."said Lincoln as Lucy was more interested.
"Zombie...?"
"Samurai...?"
"Long story... Anyway the next member of my crew is Nami, she's our navigator. Her dream is to make a complete map of the whole Grand Line. She is obsessed with money and tangerines and usually gets mad when any of us do any wasteful spending, like scary mad. She uses a special device called the sorcery Climba-Tact that allows her create storm clouds and unleash lightning."said Lincoln as Lisa made a mental note to ask this Nami about her weapon.
"Okay the next guy is Usopp, he's the sniper of our crew. He has a really long nose and is really negative and a constant liar. Dude is a major scaredy cat despite his dream is to be a brave warrior like his father, who is a member of Shank's crew. Usopp uses a slingshot that shoots out the special seeds known as Pop Greens that when they hit something they sprout into crazy plant weapons or creatures."said Lincoln as Lisa made another note to ask this Usopp about his special plant seeds.
Everyone was amazed by how interesting and unique these people sounded and unknown to everyone else Lola, Lynn, and Luan were listening from the bathroom through the air duct. They wanted to know everything about these people that their brother wanted to see so badly that he was willing to leave their family again.
"The next guy to join my crew is Sanji. He is our cook and he makes extremely delicious food. His dream is to find a place known All Blue where all the oceans of that world connect. He fights with his feet as he says chefs hands of his most important tool. He is also a gentleman who said he rather die than ever hit a lady and always tries to hit on any attractive woman he sees. He also has funny eyebrows that curl and for some reason one side of his face is always covered by his hair."said Lincoln as Lynn Sr wanted to meet this Sanji person as a fellow chef he wanted to see just how good his cooking is compared to his own.
"The next individual to join our crew Tony Tony Chopper. He is a small talking reindeer who is also the doctor of my crew. Chopper's dream is to be able to cure any ailment and become the best doctor of that world. Chopper can transform into a bunch of different forms depending on the situation. A lot of people think he's the pet of our crew and that really makes him mad."said Lincoln with a chuckle as many of his family wondered how a reindeer could talk.
"Next person to join my crew is Nico Robin. She's the archaeologist of my crew and her dream is to discover the lost history of that world. Robin is quite the mysterious type as it's usually hard to tell what she's thinking. She also has a dark sense of humor. She's fun and a really great friend who can make hands appear out of almost any surface."said Lincoln as Lucy wanted to know more about this Robin.
"The next guy to join my crew is Franky. He is a half human half cyborg who only wears a tropical shirt and speedos. His dream is to make a ship that could sail the Grand Line like Roger's ship the Oro Jackson. He has already done this as he is the shipwright of our ship and was the person who designed the Strawhat Pirate's current ship the Thousand Sunny!"said Lincoln with a smile as Lana wanted to meet this Franky.
She considered herself quite the mechanic, but she also respected shipwrights and wanted to see this ship that Lincoln seems to be so proud of.
"The next guy to join my crew is Brook. He is a tall talking skeleton with an afro. His dream is to keep the promise he made to his old crew. He is the musician of the Strawhat Pirates and I love listening to his music as I decided from day one that I wanted a musician on my crew. He like Zoro is also a swordsman although his swordsmanship is different as his is more centered around speed while Zoro's style is centered more around power."said Lincoln as Luna wanted to meet this musician and see how good his jams were compared to hers.
"The final member of my crew hasn't become an official member yet. He is Jimbe and he used to be one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. He is a Fishman, people who are basically half human half fish. He saved my life a lot and I can say with certainty that if it wasn't for him I would have succumbed to despair. He is crazy strong as he uses a style karate style known as Fishman karate as his punches really do hurt."said Lincoln as Lynn wanted to meet this Jimbe and see how good of a martial artist he was compared to her.
"Okay elder male sibling I have just ask a few questions. How can a reindeer talk? How is it that this Robin can make hands appear on any surface? And how can a skeleton talk and move?!"asked Lisa has her logical brain couldn't make any sense of anything Lincoln was saying.
"Hang on!"said Lincoln as he held up one finger to give his family a moment while he literally stretched his other hand into the kitchen to grab a giant turkey leg that was in the fridge.
His family were absolutely speechless as they, with shock looks on their faces saw their brother/son's arm literally stretched to inhuman lengths to grab a turkey leg.
"The answer is that they ate a devil fruit."said Lincoln as he took a bite of said turkey leg.
"WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!"said the Loud family as they just saw something that they would have never thought they would have seen in their lives!
Lincoln be well just took another bite of the turkey leg, not getting why everyone was getting all panicked.
