I will start this chapter commenting to the person calling itself Guest. If you want to give viewpoints, you can pm me. Reviews where you take on a demanding tone, as if you are in charge of this story, is futile. I work with a great beta reader, and the lay out is as it is, because I always have to remove a lot of things before postin, or the chapter is unreadable. I have no need for grammarly, I tried it, and didnt like it. Your reviews is an offence to my beta reader and me, and I ask you to stop, or I will have to block you from reviewing my story. Please, if you wish to continue advicing me, do it in pm, not reviews, as I think that is not ok and it does feel like you try to control the way others write or their stories, wich is not ok at all.

Everyone looked serious during the holo conference, hosted by Dame Simbai. As soon as Sonny verified what D'Jok told him, they made a decision. All Planets had to get Military Defenses. Corso received a promotion by the Generals of the Chissian military, to take on a Commanding role. He wasn't too happy with that, but knew that he was needed. All Flux Masters were divided into groups, with the surviving members of the Flux Circle, to cover all areas. Corso's group was placed near the moon where D'Jok was rescued by the Paladins. They ran a reconnaissance mission, in an attempt to breach it and capture who did this. Corso just hoped he was able to do this.

Sonny knew it would come at some point, but it still stung. Corso would head off in one direction, Callie would be working on reporting and communicating with Corso's team, and Sonny would be busy with the Resonance cure and a Booster for the stricken players. He was worried about their wife though. She was ready to deliver twins, but she refused to be sidelined. Callie agreed to evacuate if needed, but for now, she needed to stay on Genesis and report from there. That was the best compromise they managed. She also reminded him of the time they tried to keep something from her and how much that hurt. This put him on the spot. He had to keep her informed.
Sonny's military record was a short one and he didn't have any rank. Technoid pulled him out of it before he really had time to get anywhere, and spared him of being thrown into active war at the time. For Sonny, that was not a problem. He liked to be able to hand the reins to someone else, and focus on his and Callie's day to day needs.
Wrong. Duke Maddox called him to a meeting with many other scientists at his office, for a briefing on the situation. When he was about to leave, Duke Maddox called him back in for a private talk. As soon as Sonny took a seat in the sofa, Maddox handed him the papers he had obtained. Sonny sighed as he saw them. They were about Sonny's short stay in the air force. He never told the Pirates this. Duke Maddox made it clear, Sonny was called to serve with the air force as a strike pilot.
"I don't like this, Sonny. That's on the front lines. And they want you dead. I don't want you to get hurt again." Corso said as they slowly ate dinner.
Micro Ice agreed with Corso. Callie on the other hand, had something else to say.
"He's a grown man, he can make his own choices." She said.
Sonny nodded as he slowly ate. Both of them had a point. But he knew he was needed.
He would be with The Lightnings and The Xenons, to defend their Planets. But Sonny was also appointed overseer of Akillan.
Sonny grimaced as Corso struggled to hold back a laugh for some reason. When Corso was done, he told Micro Ice to wish the ones training with Sonny good luck. They'd need it.

They also received the news on who was the father of Callie's babies.
"Both of us? Is that even possible?" Corso said.
Sonny chuckled.
"It's not unheard of." He said.
Corso nodded.
"So where do we go from here? There's still health issues to look out for." He said.
"Corso, do you remember the name of the medications Kimberly received while in hospital? I know where to get them. If this comes up, we'll have options." He said.
Corso blinked for a second.
"I just remember it had to be frozen. And that it was really expensive." He recalled.
Callie looked at them. That rang a bell.
"Like this one?" She asked and turned the computer screen towards them.
Corso nodded.
"That's the one. The only way I could afford it was joining the army." He said.
Sonny rubbed his chin as he took the laptop, and entered a medicinal code. As soon as the information came up, Sonny nodded. He knew this medication. He helped develop it.
"I just wish people didn't abuse the need and just gave it away for free." He whispered.
Corso put his hand on his shoulder.
"That was outside of your grasp." He said softly.
Sonny sighed.
"Still, I could have done something." He said.
Callie decided to continue her work on her story on the old Military Camp on Akillian. Corso got ready to attend a meeting with the group meant to go to Abraxor. After that, the Flux Masters had to convene. That would give father and son some time together, before the next step. Corso finished his breakfast and promised to be home as soon as possible, before he kissed both his spouses goodbye for the day.
Sonny was ready to get up, when his transmitter beeped. It was Artie.
"I hope this isn't a bad time. It's something important. I need to tell you in private." Artie said.
"It's just Callie and me." He said.
Artie nodded.
"Callie already knows. She asked for my help. She wanted to know about Micro Ice's father." Artie said.
"Any news on that?" Sonny asked.
Artie nodded.
"He's still alive. He's held captive in a prison camp." Artie said.
Sonny nodded, as his eyes narrowed.
"What's his name?" He asked.
Artie looked at Callie.
Callie placed her hand on Sonny's arm.
"It's Kuun." She said, as Sonny's eyes widened in shock. "Corso's brother."
"I didn't want to say this while Corso was home, I'm not sure how he'll react" She said.
"That means Corso is an uncle. We should really tell him his brother is alive." Sonny said.
Artie nodded.
"I wasn't sure, do you really think so?" He asked.
Sonny looked at him.
"Let's save Kuun first." Sonny said.
Artie nodded.
"Sure thing Sonny. Just one question." Artie suggested.
"What is it?" Sonny looked at Artie as he asked.
Artie smiled.
"Let's bring Bennet, D'jok and Micro Ice on this trip."

As Corso arrived at the military base on Genesis, he couldn't help but think of how far away he was.
He put on his Chissian Military Uniform. He was a Lieutenant now. Well earned, he felt. He sighed. This was for his love. His children. Their future.
As he entered the room, a group of fifteen men, all Chissian special forces, stood up to salute him.
"At ease." He said, as he prepared for the mission briefing.

D'Jok was glad to be out of the hospital. He felt like he had been trapped there forever, when in fact it was only a few weeks. And apparently he was going on a rescue mission with Micro Ice, Bennet and Artie. He was the only Flux Master in their group. He was also informed on who Kuun was. D'Jok was happy on Micro Ice's behalf.
As they had their briefing with Artie, who led the Operation, Sonny came by and pulled D'Jok aside. He just hugged his son and told him to stay safe.
D'Jok gave one final wave to his father, before Artie closed up the hatch of The Black Manta, and they took off to rescue Corsos brother.

Something was brewing. The Pirates and Technoid were far too quiet. Professor Benson still remembered the calm yet cold look in Sonny's eyes.
That man was becoming dangerous. And the same went for his son, if he was still alive. They had to strike first.
As the holograms of his masters appeared, Professor Benson smirked.
"Let's take out the ones that betrayed you over and over first. Your little puppet Bleylock never fulfilled his job. So my suggestion is, attack and destroy Abraxor first."

Are the Abraxians ready to defend their planet?
How will meeting his father influence Micro Ice?
Will D'Jok's Flux return to full strength? And will Sonny and Clamp finally cure the Galactik Resonance.
All this and more to come.
Thank you Paranoidgirl, for the work you do.
