Everything was set. The weapon was aimed towards Abraxor, targeting the failed family of power; Bleylock.

Ta'Nakth, the leader of the attack force of Andro Zygna, a once prospering galaxy, until his species went too far. Power became the goal, control over resources and slave labour, the means of how to obtain it. They had overtaken several galaxies already.. And now, their last Galaxy was almost dried up, the resources plundered, they needed new livestock, new host bodies and resources. All that was needed was an attack, to spark the war. Ta'Nakth smirked, it was time to take over.

Brim Balarius called Sonny and Dame Simbai for a meeting. His conscience no longer allowed him to hide his role in the threat the Galaxy faced. He hoped they would be understanding, and that they could help him.

As he finished his story about being a creation to infiltrate and manipulate Galaxies for his Masters, he could see very mixed emotions on both their faces. Sonny looked thoughtful. Dame Simbai on the other hand, shifted between looking disgusted and furious.

"I have no words, Grandmaster. Your placement as Leader of the Flux Society was entirely planned. Did you kill Brim Simbra as well?" She asked, unable to hide her anger.

Brim Balarius looked down.

"It was part of my Masters' plan. Everything that happened on that Planet was." He admitted.

Sonny nodded.

Brim Balarius looked at him.

"Is this information enough to save this Galaxy from the same Fate as Andro Zygna?" He asked.

Sonny nodded as he clenched his fists.

"We need to act, as soon as possible, in getting the scientists freed and getting everything ready." Dame Simbai said.

Sonny agreed.

"Just tell me everything you know, Grandmaster."

The Chissian military ship was making its way towards where D'Jok had been rescued. On board were Corso and Bertrand. Corso was on call with the Abraxian military through General Bleylock, and the rebels through Bertrand. This was the first time the two fractions had to work together. The Abraxian Military raised their planetary shields.

They just had to hope it was strong enough but prepare for it if it wasn't.

Sonny looked at the tubes in front of him. They needed the cure for the Resonance, and he found himself unable to make it. He wished Corso was here to ease his stress like he usually was.

Now, he had to deal with it on his own.

Sonny sighed heavily. Where to even start?

Recent tests conducted by Technoid's science team were conclusive. The Resonance was not reversed naturally. They needed a cure.

How to tackle this? He needed to calm his mind.

Sonny sat down on the floor, took a deep breath, and tried to meditate. This was how Clamp found him a few hours later.

"Sonny, are you ok?" He asked, slightly concerned.

Sonny slowly opened his eyes, they looked determined.

He smiled as he got up, and took the hand Clamp held out.

"I'm fine Clamp. Just trying something new to help me think." He explained.

Clamp nodded with a small smile.

"Did it work?" He asked.

Sonny nodded, and took one of the tubes with Life Force.

"It's a long shot, but at this point, we have to try anything. Can you ask Rocket to come in for testing?" He asked.

Clamp nodded, a smile forming on his tired face.

"Alright, let's get to work." He said.

Sonny smiled.

"Yeah, let's." He said.

In the north of the Galaxy, The Black manta was traveling in stealth mode.

They were searching for Kuun Takashi, Corso's brother, who was located on this moon. They didn't tell Micro Ice that Kuun was his father, and Corso his uncle. They decided to keep that conversation until after he was freed.

At the command center, Artie and Bennett kept a close eye on the instruments.

A radar beeped, telling them where they were on the map. Artie kept a close eye on the heavy traffic.

Bennett looked over at him.

"We should be there within a few hours, Artie. I guess you got a plan of attack for this mission?" He asked.

Artie nodded.

"This is meant to be quick. Get in, get Kuun, get out." He said, not taking his eyes off the instruments.

Bennett nodded.

"When are we going to tell Micro Ice about his father and uncle?" He asked.

Artie shook his head.

"When he's safe." He said.

Bennett agreed.

"Let's go over the plan with the others." He said.

Artie nodded.

"I'll call them over."

The Black Manta landed softly.

Artie opened the ramp on to a place that had a foul odor.

He covered his nose.

"I hope this is only temporary. That smell is foul." He said.

"Great job landing us in the sewers." Micro Ice commented.

"Easy there." D'Jok replied.

Micro Ice made a face, and for some reason, D'Jok saw that as a good sign.

The group snuck forwards in the hostile terrain, ever so slowly. There was some vegetation for cover, but not a whole lot. They walked for what felt like hours, when they could hear voices.

Artie signaled for them to sneak closer.

As they peeked around a corner, they could see an army of droids, some Technoid's, some they never saw before. The amount of droids was massive. That might become a challenge. Artie tried to find a way to go around, when Micro Ice pulled at D'Jok's sleeve.

"What is it?" D'Jok whispered, noting how pale his friend looked.

Micro Ice raised a shaking finger and pointed to the dock, where two massive ships were stationed.

The droids were loading something onto the ships; containers, filled with liquid

"It's a synthetic Flux, right? If they use that on the Weapon… ." D'Jok stopped mid sentence.

Bennett nodded.

"Bennett, call Sonny, right now." Artie said.

The mix was ready, and Rocket sat on a chair, waiting as Sonny prepared the injection with a possible cure. Thrann joined today. He was in front of his laptop, getting ready to monitor the effects.

"Here we go Rocket, let us know if you feel anything." Sonny said as he emptied the content into his arm. Dame Simbai and Brim Balarius were also present. Rocket closed his eyes.

"How is it looking, Thrann?" Clamp asked.

Thrann smiled.

"It's working." He said.

Sonny grinned.

"Can you be more specific?" He asked, peeking over his shoulder.

"An increase in strength of 75%?" Sonny said, sounding shocked.

"How are you feeling, Rocket?" Dame Simbai asked.

Rocket clenched his were tears in his eyes.

"I feel… normal." He stammered.

Dame Simbai looked at Brim Balarius.

"What do you think, Grandmaster?" She asked.

Brim Balarius looked relieved.

"We might just stand a chance." He said.

Sonny was more skeptical.

"It's too early to tell if it's permanent. We need to do more testing." He said.

Brim Balarius smiled.

"Of course, but this is a step in the right direction" He said.

Sonny was about to say something when his transmitter went off.

Sonny opened the hologram, and looked into Arties worried eyes.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"We're running out of time." Artie whispered.

Sonny frowned.

"Why?" He asked.

Artie didn't answer, he just turned his hologram projector, and zoomed in, so Sonny could see it with his own eyes.

Sonny gasped as he saw the Andro Zygnian ship and what it was loading. He knew that Flux.

"Artie, focus on finding Kuun and free him, then leave as silent as you can. I'll alert the Military in the region." He said.

Artie saluted, looking dead serious before he ended the transmission.

Sonny looked at Brim Balarius.

"The Andro Zygnians are ready." He said.

Brim Balarius could only nodd.

Dame Simbai looked at them.

"Can someone please explain to me what's going on?" She asked.

Brim Balarius answered for them all.

"We're at the brink of War."

Yes, things are about to get tense. The Andro Zygnans have operated undisturbed behind everyone's backs for some time, placing armies of droids strategically throughout the Galaxy. Will the Pirates manage to defeat them?

Thank you Paranoidgirl for your hard work.
