Gruetly Bay Farm Life
Season one Episode two: A Dog's New Home Part Two
Lucky was heading up to the Dalmatian puppies' new room with Pongo as the two of them went up from the ladder to the top floor. Lucky could instantly tell where his bed was when looking at the ninety nine that the Dearly's, by some miracle, managed to fit there with three floors; thirty three per floor (It's best not to think about it). Lucky's bed had a blue teddy bear sitting beside two Dalmatian faced pillows, and an acoustic guitar on the side of it. At least Lucky knew where he would be sleeping, even if it was still in the same area as his siblings.
Lucky turned to his father, who knew what he usually needed after what happened right before this. "Listen closely dad. I could've just ruined our first impression with these guys, and if so, we'll never get that back. (Gives a serious look) I need twenty minutes where no one comes near me."
Pongo nodded in understanding and rubbed his son's head for comfort. He knew Lucky needed his space during these times. He then called out to Lucky's other siblings who were on the bottom floor as he went down the ladder. "Stay down here everyone! Lucky needs twenty minutes again!"
Lucky went over to his bed and sighed with intense conflicted thoughts as he did. When he sat down, he started to wonder if he could adjust to this place as well as his parents hoped he could. It was hard enough to live in the same house as ninety eight brothers and sisters before, but at least it was in a place Lucky was familiar with. Now he had to adjust to a whole new place, full of people who didn't know anything about him. He picked up the blue teddy bear, who was revealed to have rock n roll style clothing on. "This will most likely suck Miguel. Brace yourself."
Lucky set his teddy bear down and then picked up his guitar, tuning it to just the right setting before he started playing it. As he started playing the guitar, he started singing an unfinished, but still intriguing song, that he called To Be Normal. "When I came into this world... I couldn't look them in the eye... just like an angel... your love makes me cry... when you saved our lives... I knew then and there... that any resentment... would not be fair..."
Lucky's voice then started to crack, just as the Golden Retriever from before heard him playing when walking outside the barn. "I wish I was normal... (The Golden Retriever looks up) so very normal..." The Golden Retriever climbed a nearby ladder, making sure not to be seen as Lucky kept singing. "But I can't be... I just can't be... my emotions control me... and I know everyone can see..." Lucky finished playing his guitar and held back his tears, lying down on his bed with the Golden Retriever feeling his pain after he finished listneing to what he had to sing.
The Golden Retriever got an idea and took out some kind of flier in an attempt to get Lucky's attention, which he did. He then slid down the ladder as quickly as possible with Lucky grabbing the flier, not seeing the Golden Retriever when he did. He decided to look at the flier, and when he did, he saw that it was for a rock concert being held Gruetly Bay. That must've been the name of the town this farm was made near. Lucky was intrigued by this, but he knew his parents would say no after what he did earlier. He had to plan something to keep them at bay.
Being the schemer that he was, Lucky was able to get an idea relatively quickly. It was risky, but Lucky, as always, was confident that it'd work in his favor.
Lucky was in his room with his other siblings later that evening, and he was currently thinking to execute his plan to attend the rock concert. Not a lot of his other siblings were there, and everyone had just eaten dinner, so he took out a note and put it under his pillow to assure his parents that he was fine. He then looked to Patch, to remind him of his part in the plan. "Remember. You don't have to lie. Just tell them 'Butt Besties Code', and you'll be good."
"Got it." Patch replied, and then he went on to assure Lucky about earlier today. "Oh, and I talked to Bella. She said there's no hard feelings."
Lucky was glad to hear that, especially since it meant Patch still had a chance to get with Bella. He then did his signature handshake with Patch before jumping out the window and climbing down the ladder while making sure no one watched him. He also took his skateboard with him for good measure. As he was sneaking off the farm however, he saw Bella carrying some milk into the house. He figured it'd take too long figuring out how to evade her after a few seconds of thinking, and decided to just confront her, so he walked over to her as she went to open the door. "Hey Bella."
Bella looked at Lucky, being surprised to see him after what happened earlier that day with Mooch. "Howdy Lucky. I take it your parents let you off easy?"
"Yeah, Patch explained what happened and the worst I got was a scolding from mum." Lucky replied, and then he gave a remorseful expression as he apologized for that incident. "I'm sorry you had to see me like that. I won't say why to avoid making it look as if I'm begging for sympathy, but I sometimes... struggle, to really control my emotions. And when something really makes me mad, it's pretty likely I'm going to lash out in one way or another."
Bella had an idea as to what Lucky was getting at and smiled as she let him know that they were good. "It takes a brave feller to swallow their pride like what you just did. I can always respect someone, even at least a little bit, for that."
Lucky was glad to hear that, feeling it wouldn't hurt to ask Bella to keep this a secret. "You think you can keep me sneaking out a secret from my parents?"
Lucky had made his way to Greatly Bay, and he was able to get there at specifically eight o clock, which is when the rock concert was starting. When he got there, he was surprised by how easy it was to find the place. Granted the lights in the middle of town were a dead giveaway, but still. He took off once he got into town, and he saw a bunch of stuff you would normally see in any place, like restaurants, businesses, and even a skate park; that last one appealed to Lucky quite a bit. Though, it would be pretty hard to get in since he was a dog.
As he skated around, some of the residents of the town were nearby and watched him do his stuff, such as skating on public benches, riding in between people, and jumping over a sewer hole. His skills seemed to impress the people of Greatly Bay, and that made him happy as he went past them. He then noticed the cars stopping in the road and used his board to grind on one of them, much to his surprise as Lucky then continued to skate his way to the rock concert.
Lucky arrived at the rock concert entrance and hopped off his board, kicking it up as he walked on ahead. He then saw a rack for skateboards next to a bike rack and set his up, having a feeling that it was meant to decrease the amount of disturbance from the show. When Lucky went over to the entrance, he was greeted by a vicious looking Doberman, who looked as if he was about ready to rip Lucky's head off. "Where's your ticket?" Lucky shoved the ticket into the Doberman's mouth and walked inside, leaving the Doberman to spit it out and inspect it. "Yeah. Looks legit."
Lucky went into the concert area and gained a look of realization that there was a beach there. Now he knew why the farm wasn't right outside of town. He did have to question why the farm was there at all now, but he decided not to think about it for long. Instead, he got a good look around the concert area and saw that it had everything a concert would need from a snack bar to a gift shop. He also saw a bunch of people who lived in Gruetly Bay socializing, which revealed a lot of friendly faces.
Lucky decided to go ahead and get himself some food and soda, walking over to the snack bar in an attempt to get some grub. When he got there, he got a look at their menu and saw that they had everything; burgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, they had all the delicious meat food there! And no one on the farm was there to whine about it. The snack bar vendor saw Lucky and gave him a friendly greeting while making a recommendation. "If you're here for the Wave Crashers, which you should be since ya came, then the double bacon cheeseburger is for you. It's Guitar Gus's favorite!"
"If ya say so. I'll have that and a cherry soda please; no ice." Lucky stated, and the vendor nodded while getting that for Lucky. He then took his wallet out and pulled out a five, handing it to the vendor as he handed him his stuff. "Thanks dude. Oh; before I forget, is anyone in town allergic to dogs? I stole some of my parents' spray just in case."
The vendor laughed a bit at that last detail as he assured Lucky that he would be okay for now. "There are a couple people like that, but they've been taking allergy meds to keep track of that. This town is super animal friendly, so I can guarantee a good time for all dogs who come by."
"Awesome!" Lucky exclaimed, glad to hear that the people of Gruetly Bay were friendly to dogs. He then decided to leave, as to not waste the vendor's time. "Well, thanks for the food."
The vendor nodded in response as Lucky walked over to where the arcade games were, only to accidentally bump into someone as soon as he did and fell to the ground and spilt some of his soda. Thankfully, he was able to recover most of it, and recovered rather quickly put the lid back on as he apologized for his mistake. "Sorry about that."
"Not the first time a boy was dense around me." Lucky heard the female voice and looked to see a female Blue Heeler about his age trying to get a mustard stain off her fur. Despite the uncool first thing they did when crossing each other's path, Lucky was instantly starstruck and gained a nervous blush with an equally nervous smile. The Blue Heeler quickly noticed and smirked as she called him out on it. "You gonna sit there lookin' stupid or ya gonna pretend ya don't fart to impress me?"
Lucky couldn't help but laugh at the jab at how some boys act around girls, and he got up with his snacks to greet the Blue Heeler. "Hi; my name's mustard, and I can get that Lucky stain out-" Lucky then realized how he worded that and face palmed with his free hand. "Darn it! (Looks at the Blue Heeler) I mean I can get that mustard fart out of-"
Lucky then groaned with the Blue Heeler then seen to be laughing, making Lucky worry about what was going to happen next with the Blue Heeler speaking up. "Relax dude. Believe it or not, my hot dog's still fur free." The Blue Heeler wiped the stain out of her fur with Lucky being relieved that she wasn't mad at him. "You must be new around here. I've never seen you in Gruetly Bay before."
"Hehe; yeah, my family recently moved to the farm that's a couple miles off." Lucky told the Blue Heeler, and he then tried to make small talk with her, first my clarifying his name. "Lucky Dearly. Two Y's, two L's."
Lucky held out his paw for a fist bump, reading the Blue Heeler and finding that she was that type of girl, with her happily accepting as she introduced herself. "I'm Roxie Livona; no Y's, one L."
Lucky was glad to see that he was still making a good first impression and decided to try and get to know Roxie more. "You wanna... head over to the middle of the beach together? We were both headed there anyway."
Roxie thought for a moment and felt that it wouldn't hurt to get to know Lucky more as well. "Sure. Would be less boring to walk with someone who so far, seems cool." Lucky beamed when he heard that and walked over to the concert area with Roxie, and both of whom were seeming to have a good time with each other so far.
Lucky and Roxie were talking in the concert area as Lucky was telling Roxie a joke about how loud this was gonna be. "If this gets too loud I can totally see someone begging for a dog whistle just to make things less hell."
Roxie suddenly shot orange soda out of her nostrils, as she was drinking when Lucky was telling his joke. "Oh my God, yes!" Roxie laughed a little more as she then took a bite of her hot dog to recover a bit before swallowing. "I swear; my owner has a dog whistle and he uses it ALL the time on me. I had to sneak out of my house just to come here!"
"What a coincidence. I snuck out too!" Lucky revealed, and then the Golden Retriever from earlier was watching Lucky and Roxie from the gift shop roof with a smile. It seemed that his theory of Lucky and Roxie getting along was correct, so he made his leave to prepare for the next part of his plan.
Roxie had to ask about Lucky's reason for sneaking out, since she revealed her's and was curious. "So why'd you sneak out? Overly strict parents? Method you can't stand?"
Lucky then chuckled a bit as he nervously revealed his reason, still not being too proud of it. "Well... not exactly. I'm actually struggling to adjust to the move from London to here, and I kinda, sorta, got into a fight with one of the Dearly Farm residents."
Roxie took note of that and couldn't help but sympathize with Lucky. She knew that moving was never easy on a kid. "That doesn't sound like anything to scoff at. At least you have some balls." Lucky had to agree with that, and was feeling a little better about the move now that he had someone new he felt he could talk to. "I know it's gonna be hard from here on out trying to adjust to life after moving away from the biggest city in all of England, but I'm more than happy to show you as many good times as I can."
Lucky appreciated the offer. He could also tell that Roxie was being genuine with that. He was good at reading people. "I'd like that."
Lucky and Roxie looked at each other with smiles as one of the bandmates for the Wave Crashers spoke to the crowd. "Ladies and Gentlemen! (Lucky and Roxie look at the stage) Thank you for coming!" The band was revealed to be three punk rock looking humans with a guitarist/singer, a drummer, and a keytarist. They all wore black shirts that read 'Wave Crashers' in bright red. They also wore blue jeans with punk rock attire, but their hair helped them stand out. The guitarist had messy black hair, the drummer had fancy blonde hair, and the keytarist was bald.
The guitarist was speaking proudly as he announced how much he loved that his band had a gig in Gruetly Bay. "Let me tell you. To be here in the friendly town of Gruetly Bay, with the chance to perform for all the loving people in this town, gives me one of the greatest feelings I've ever had in my life. Now obviously the top moment for me is when my friends and I decided to make our band a reality, (The drummer and keytarist smile) but this is at least in the top five." The guitarist then went over to the mic to sing while playing his guitar. "So let's get ready to rock!"
The band then started playing with Lucky getting a kick out of their music and how well in sync it all was. Everything from the guitar playing to the drums to the keytar was on point, and he and Roxie were loving it. For the first time since he'd gotten there, Lucky felt like he was having the time of his life. He didn't have to worry about what happened with Mooch earlier that day, and he was just given the chance to have a good time and rock out to some good music. Roxie could tell the band was helping him too, and she was glad to see his fun side showing.
The band's song wasn't too shabby either, and their lyrics actually struck a chord with Lucky. "New place! New routine! Gotta know how to make a good scene!" Lucky felt that was similar to his encounter with Mooch from that morning, but he was jamming out so hard, that he spent little time caring about it and continued to jam out with the rest of the crowd as the band continued singing. "New neighbors! New house! At first ya feel as small as a mouse!"
Lucky felt like that related to how he was feeling a little less than the first one, but he brushed that off, as he knew the song wasn't directly written for him. As the two continued rocking out to the song, Lucky and Roxie already felt themselves creating a bond with one another, one that the both of them hoped would continue to be present with Lucky's time in Gruetly Bay continuing to last. They didn't know just how far something like this was going to go, but they did know that one thing was for sure. Meeting each other was by far a highlight of the concert.
The next morning, Lucky and Roxie were now passed out with Lucky on his stomach, and Roxie on her back, with Lucky's butt aimed in Roxie's direction. The two of them were enjoying their sleep on the beach, but suddenly...
PHHHHH-
Lucky ended up cutting a loud and bassy fart right into Roxie's face, waking them both up at the same time up with Lucky not noticing the Blue Heeler started coughing, only for Lucky to wake up as well and smirk as he lifted his leg and...
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHT
the fart ended up lasting for ten whole seconds, and then Lucky heard Roxie's cough, and he turned around and saw that he'd hit her with his eggy gas. He wasn't too worried about it, since Roxie didn't seem like someone who hated farting. Instead he was laid back and laughed a bit before he spoke up. "Sorry about that. Did I fart on you before I woke up?"
"Yes, and it was one heck of a wake up call." Roxie joked, and then she sat down across from Lucky as she then cracked a joke about her own farts. "I mean, other girls have been disgusted by mine, but they're heavenly compared to yours."
Lucky laughed a bit as Pongo and Perdita, who'd read his note and went to find him, and they spotted the two having a good time from nearby. "Well they haven't seen the hottest butt in the world yet, so just let me know when they're interested." Roxie rolled her eyes while smiling as the two of them then started to head back as Pongo and Perdita headed over to them, being glad that Lucky made a new friend, but not so much that he snuck out. Lucky then noticed them and flinched when he saw them. "Oh great; here come the discipline patrol."
Pongo laughed a bit at Lucky's joke with Perdita looking at him, leaving him to just smile cheekily when he finished laughing and Perdita spoke up when they both hugged him. "We've been worried sick about you Lucky. (Pulls Lucky away) If Patch didn't plant that dummy in your bed, we would've started a search party on the farm for you after he said 'Butt Besties Code'."
Lucky was impressed by Patch's thinking with that one as Roxie then spoke up about where Lucky lived. "That reminds me; I live on the farm too! It shouldn't be hard to hang out again."
Lucky beamed when he heard that, and Pongo quickly caught onto what he was feeling as Lucky then started talking about how awesome that'd be. "That's awesome! I'd love to hang out more after I figure out more about what this farm life is like!" Lucky and Roxie continued talking about what they could do together with Pongo and Perdita looking at each other with proud smiles. It seems as if their hope for Lucky adjusting to life on the farm was starting to take a positive turn.
Lucky was heading back home with his parents and Roxie as Perdita brought up what could happen to Lucky after his little stunt. "I would say no breakfast, but you already missed that when Nanny fed your siblings this morning. So I'll be confiscating your Playstation 5 until tomorrow."
"I was gonna get a look around the place anyway." Lucky informed his parents, starting to warm up to the place after meeting Roxie, even if he knew it was still gonna have some rocky moments. Roxie was also hopeful after hearing what he said next. "Here's hoping that last night was a sign of things to come."
Mooch was by the farm contemplating what'd happened the other day with Lucky and Patch as he thought to himself about it. 'Why did I just assume Bella was gonna take me over Patch after that? She hates senseless violence! Here's hoping I didn't blow it completely.' Mooch then noticed Lucky walking with his parents and Roxie, getting worried about what was going to happen because of it. 'Oh great; now Roxie's friends with them too!'
Mooch watched Lucky and Roxie in secret after Lucky's parents went inside with Roxie speaking up. "Maybe we can head over to my place now. That way you'll know where to find me if I'm at home."
"That'd be great! Let's do it." Lucky ran off with Roxie to where she lived with Mooch getting ready to convince Lucky not to tell Roxie what happened.
Lucky and Roxie were running to where Roxie lived with the two of them coming up to a log cabin. Lucky didn't expect such a cozy looking home after hearing Roxie's possible implication of her owner being abusive. "Not what I expected. And not just because we're on a farm."
Roxie laughed a bit, knowing why Lucky thought that as she then explained what a log cabin was doing on the farm. "There's actually a lake nearby that led to this part of the farm being built. Hiccup Hole, I think it's called. The goose who lives is super rude though, so watch out."
"Good to know this place has the local mood." Lucky joked, and Roxie snickered a bit upon hearing it as Lucky then wondered if Roxie would like to meet Patch, Two-tone, and Rolly. "Hey; you wanna meet my friends? I'm sure they'd all like you a lot."
"Sure. That sounds like fun." Roxie then opened the front door to get something she couldn't get before. "I forgot to get my hat before I left, so I'm gonna get it before then."
"Okay, no problem." Lucky assured Roxie, and then he adjusted his own hat to make sure he looked good for when Roxie got back out. He had the tip of it facing back, and he wondered if that made him look like too much of a pompous jerk or not. Then again, Roxie probably didn't care.
Just then, Lucky heard someone else's voice. "Hey; Lucky!" Lucky looked to see Mooch running over to him, and he was less than pleased to say the least. What could this string bean bully possibly want now? "Look. I saw you hanging out with Roxie, and I'm good friends with her. I can't let her find out what happened yesterday or she's gonna be super mad at me! You're gonna tell her that you and Patch were the ones who got violent yesterday, and in exchange, I won't turn you into paste."
"You mean like how I almost did to you yesterday?" Lucky shot back, leaving Mooch to flinch as Lucky then crossed his arms while sitting down firmly. "You want me to lie and speak badly about myself and my brother to cover your lanky butt?"
Mooch was about to speak up again, only for Roxie to come out onto the porch as she spoke to someone inside. "Don't worry mum! I'll be back for lunch!" Roxie then saw Lucky and Mooch on the porch and noticed Mooch's injuries. She instantly went over to him with worry and hoped she was okay. "Mooch!? What happened to you!?"
"It was Lucky's crazy brother!" Lucky and Roxie both flinched upon that, despite Lucky already knowing what Mooch was planning. Mooch then continued to lie in the hopes that Roxie wouldn't figure out what happened. "I politely asked him to let Bella choose between me and him on her own accord, and then he went psycho on me and beat me up! Just ask Lucky! He was there!"
Roxie didn't want to distrust Mooch, but she was well aware of his reputation on the farm. Thankfully, what he just said meant she could ask Lucky without regret, and she turned to him to do so. "Speak up Lucky. Were you there the other day?"
Lucky looked at Mooch, who gave him a nervous look in the hopes that he'd oblige. Lucky wasn't about to give in however, and gave him a scowl as he answered. "Yeah, I was there. (Looks at Roxie) And I can tell you right now that Mooch is telling you a bloody pile of crap."
Roxie sighed in disbelief, and then she gave Mooch an angry look as she responded with Mooch looking anxious. "Ya know what? That doesn't even surprise me anymore. (Looks at Lucky) What DID happen?"
Lucky hoped Roxie getting the context he was about to give wouldn't hurt Patch's feelings. He knew Roxie wouldn't understand completely without it. "Patch and I were talking about Bella, as he started talking to her after we moved. I was giving him some advice on how to approach her in the best way possible, and Mooch overheard us, getting all aggressive in the moment. To be fair, I did roast him while whispering to Patch in front of him, but that didn't excuse what happened next. He started beating up Patch, right in front of me, and shoved me to the ground."
Roxie inspected Mooch's injuries and knew that they couldn't have been from an accident. It was only his face that was injured, and more of his body would most likely be damaged if that were the case. "He looks pretty beaten up for being the instigator. How did he get those bruises on his face?"
Lucky didn't regret bringing that part up in the slightest, proudly telling Roxie about what happened. "I did that."
"Good. Sounds like he deserved it." Roxie then got into Mooch's face and spoke up about how she felt about his actions. "They've only just, moved here Mooch! Is this your idea of a welcome gift!? Getting into a fight with one of the family member's over a girl!? My best friend no less!" Mooch showed immense regret for what happened as Roxie then walked off in frustration as she finished her statement. "I can't deal with you right now Mooch." Lucky looked at Mooch and blew him a raspberry before catching up with Roxie, leaving Mooch to watch in anger at Lucky ratting him out.
Lucky and Roxie arrived back at the barn with Patch outside waiting for him to come back while talking to Bella. "So we all felt it sounded like a cool idea and Two-tone is getting out applications from Tibbs and Colonel right now."
Bella seemed excited when she heard that as Lucky then spoke up while walking over to them. "That sounds like we've got a group of yes in the Bark Brigade." Patch and Bella saw Lucky and Roxie walking over to them and happily stated how ready he was for the Bark Brigade. "Sure hope it's as much of a blast as a school of hero dogs sounds."
Patch and Bella were glad to see Lucky and Roxie walking up to them as Bella spoke up about what Lucky just said. "It should be with Colonel and Tibbs runnin' the show. Those two used to be in the army together, so they have to have a lot of cool stuff for us to learn."
"Army heroes, huh? No wonder Tibbs was brave enough to save all of us from Cruella." Lucky stated, being intrigued by this information.
Lucky and the others headed off with Roxie speaking to Patch while being worried about what happened to him yesterday. "Lucky told me everything about your incident with Mooch yesterday. Are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine, thanks." Patch assured Roxie, being grateful for the checking in. "Colonel actually warned me that he was thinking of becoming a member himself. Here's hoping we don't have to interact too much."
Bella then let out an annoyed sigh as she confessed something about Mooch. "Believe it or not, the two of us have been on an off for a couple months now." This information surprised Lucky and Patch, and Bella then spoke up more about the situation. "We were in one of our off segments when he got in your faces. After what happened yesterday, I plan to keep it that way."
Lucky and Patch were relieved to hear that as the two then assured Bella that they had her back. "Let's hope he doesn't hurt you either Bella." Lucky and Patch then gained a look of realization and looked at each other with excited smiles. "Jinx! Double jinx! Triple jinx! Quadruple jinx! Whatever comes after quadruple jinx! Infinity jinx!" Lucky and Patch laughed a bit with Roxie and Bella giving in small laughs themselves.
Two-tone and Rolly were near the Bark Brigade application stand as Two-tone consoled Rolly over something. "And even then, being obese doesn't mean you can't keep up with everyone else. You just have to prove that you have what it takes like the others. Any doubters will turn around once they see your determination."
"I guess." Rolly admitted, and then he explained why this particular event bothered him. "It's just... at least when Lucky does it it's brotherly teasing, and he's not trying to hurt me."
"Ya guys havin' fun gossiping about me?" Lucky joked with Two-tone and Rolly noticing him walking over to them with Patch, Roxie, and Bella as he then joked about what Rolly said. "Cmon Spotted Food Cake; let me know who I should punch in the face."
Rolly thought for a moment and didn't think telling Lucky to punch an adult in the face was a good idea. He then realized that the punching part was a joke and explained what happened. "Well, one of the commanding officers in the Bark Brigade is a Pug, and he said something along the lines of... 'you're so fat that your team will sink with you on it."
Lucky and the others, besides Two-tone, were shocked by this with Lucky being worried that he picked a bad time to call Rolly that nickname. "Did I, um..."
"No, you're okay." Rolly assured him, knowing that Lucky was just being Lucky. "I just hope we don't get that guy as a commanding officer."
Lucky had a feeling as to why Rolly was spoken to that way, but he decided to save that talk for now. He instead focused on introducing Roxie to the others. "Maybe we should get your mind off of it for now. (Gestures Two-tone and Rolly to Roxie) This is Roxie. We met at the Wave Crashers concert. Good band by the way."
Roxie gave a peace sign to Two-tone and Rolly, who happily bumped fists with her, and she then got a look at the applications. "Nice to meet ya both. And I can tell you first hand, even though the Bark Brigade is new to me as well, that they'll have at least four instructors due to all of the students we'll be having. So you may get someone cool as a commanding officer."
Rolly was relieved to hear that with Lucky speaking up about how he felt about the Gruetly Bay farm so far. "Well regardless of who we get, it should still be a fun time." The next part definitely made Roxie and Bella happy to hear. "And maybe, as time goes on, I'll start to like this place as my own home. A new home, where I can still make a good impact." Lucky and Patch bumped to that with Roxie and Bella looking at each other with smiles, and Two-tone and Rolly nodding to each other happily. It seemed that now, Lucky was on board with getting to know this place.
The Golden Retriever from before was shown to be watching Lucky as he wrote something down in his journal happily. "Mission accomplished." The journel entry was shown to be a writing of the Golden Retriever's mission to help the Dalmatian family start to adjust to this place with the words 'Help the new family' as the screen faded to black, ending the episode off.
As the credits rolled, the theme song for the story played with the events of the premiere playing back to rock music in the Johnny Test reboot theme. "London to Gruetly Bay is kind of a big change! But Lucky's gonna take it on cause the mission's in range! He and his friends are ready for whatever comes their way! And they'll be by each other's side every day! Romance, action, it doesn't matter! They're gonna work hard to make it better! Bullies, boredom, they can get through it! And Lucky is the leader who's gonna become most fit!"
The song then finished with the song finishing in an epic rock fashion. "He's skateboard packed and ego charged! Cocky bugger livin' large! But when danger comes a knockin'; he's ready for nose popping! He's ready to get through the strife, in his new Gruetly Bay Farm, Life!"
