Gruetly Bay Farm Life
Season one Episode three: A Puppy Military
Rock music started playing for the opening theme, and after a couple seconds, Lucky was shown to be skateboarding out of the barn with a confident smile. "London to Gruetly Bay is kind of a big change! (Patch is shown to be drawing something while sitting under a tree and hi fiving Lucky as he skates by) But Lucky's gonna take it on cause the mission's in range! (Two-tone is shown to be helping the pink pig from the intro with a dress as she waves to Lucky as he skates by) He and his friends are ready for whatever comes their way! (Rolly is shown to be reading a cooking magazine while giving a thumbs up to Lucky as he passes by) And they'll be by each other's side every day!"
Lucky is then shown to be talking to Roxie with the two showing clear feelings for one another. "Romance, (Lucky is shown to be punching a ferret that tries to attack him) action, (Lucky and his friends are shown to be various activities in the Bark Brigade) it doesn't matter! They're gonna work hard to make it better! (Lucky is shown to be punching Mooch right in the jaw) Bullies, (Lucky is shown to be struggling to sit through one of Tibbs' lectures) boredom, they can get through it! (Lucky is shown to be admiring his butt in a mirror before he jumps out the window) And Lucky is the leader who's gonna become most fit!"
The song then finished with the song finishing in an epic rock fashion as Lucky skateboards down the ladder to the window of the barn's top floor. "He's skateboard packed and ego charged! (Lucky is shown giving a sly grin and finger bang to some nearby animals who're annoyed by his ego) Cocky bugger livin' large! (Lucky spots Cruella about to hit one of his siblings) But when danger comes a knockin'; (Lucky saves his sibling and gets out of the way) he's ready for nose popping!"
Lucky and his friends then do their own individual poses with Lucky doing a peace sign, Patch giving a cheerful smile, Two-tone giving a friendly wave, and Rolly patting his stomach. "He's ready to get through the strife, (Lucky and his friends are seen spotting something in the distance) in his new Gruetly Bay Farm, Life!" The screen blows up with it then showing Lucky and a three legged Dalmatian in a headband giving determined and competitive grins and glares to one another as they were sharing lots of competitive banter, leaving PAtch Two-tone, and Rolly to roll their eyes with Patch smiling, and Two-tone and Rolly looking somewhat annoyed.
Lucky and his friends were running as fast as they could for something they've been looking forward to since they signed up for it last week. Lucky was quick to rush the others; not that they minded. They were as excited for this as he was. "Come on guys! It's right over here!" Just then, the three legged dog from the intro ran past Lucky's friends, and as Lucky noticed, he gave a competitive smile as he got ready to go at max speed. "Ah heck no!" Lucky ran at max speed next to the other dog, who took notice and ran at an even faster speed to catch up with him.
The two Dalmatian's were neck and neck, refusing to let the other pass them as they then started leaning on each other's sides while running to avoid getting behind. Colonel and Tibbs were going over a checklist as they noticed Lucky and the other dog running by, and both were glad to see the enthusiasm in the young puppies as Tibbs spoke up. "We've hit a gold mine Colonel! Those two could easily match a German Shepherd!"
Colonel got a look at Lucky and the other dog with the two of them arriving to where the two were, and then they looked at each other as they announced their victory. "I win!" The two then got even more competitive and got in each others faces while insisting that they won. "I win!"
Lucky then shoved the other dog on the side where his stump was and made him roll to the ground, making him grunt as he hit the ground with Lucky giving a smug grin as he spoke up with the rest of his friends arriving. "I win. Butthead!"
The other dog got up and spoke up about how that action didn't determine Lucky winning. "That didn't help you win Lucky! If anything you just proved you're a sore loser!"
"You're one to talk Tripod! You've been jealous of my gorgeous butt for ages!"
"Even if I was, that doesn't have anything to do with the race!"
"Then maybe you'd wanna have a rematch to prove your alleged victory!"
"Maybe I would! And I'd be happy to have said rematch after the entrance exam!"
Patch, Two-tone, and Rolly were all well familiar with Lucky and Tripod's rivalry as Patch joked about it. "It's like Romeo and Juliet if they were both boys and one was missing a leg."
As Lucky and Tripod continued arguing, Colonel spoke to Tibbs about their chances at getting a true top dog. "I think we should wait until ALL of the puppies get here. Perhaps then we can see if these two can back up these egos they hold." Tibbs took note of that as he then looked over the checklist one last time to make sure everything was set up.
Lucky and the others were lined up with a bunch of other students, along with Roxie and Bella, and on the end of the line opposite of Lucky, Mooch. Mooch wasn't at all happy to see Lucky and growled at him from the other end of what looked like at least twenty dogs, and one of them was a chicken. Lucky had to question what a chicken was doing there, but he felt he should keep his mouth shut for now to avoid saying something that would be interpreted wrong. Colonel and Tibbs then walked in front of the recruits as they began to explain the Bark Brigade to them.
Colonel was the one doing the explaining, since he was the founder of the Bark Brigade. "All twenty one of you cadets have signed up to be members of the Bark Brigade. For those who don't know what that is, you're about to learn. In this brigade, you will learn to defend yourself, and your loved ones, and all those you care for, by improving your combat training, your leadership abilities, and your teamwork! Your tasks may range from completing obstacle courses, to catching animal criminals in Gruetly Bay."
Tibbs then continued with the explanation as he told the cadets how this would work. "All of you will participate in a short, but efficient obstacle course we set up near here. All of you will remain cadets, even if you're in last, but the top three cadets will be the leaders of their troops."
Lucky and Tripod, who were standing on the opposite sides of Patch, gave each other competitive grins as Lucky spoke up. "I think we know who the best of the leaders is gonna be."
"I think you'll find you'll only be second rate." Tripod taunted back, and then Tibbs signalled the two to cease their competing and to follow him and Colonel, which everyone did.
All twenty one of the cadets followed Colonel and Tibbs to the obstacle course, which they arrived at in about a few seconds as Colonel explained what the obstacles were. "In this course, you will face three obstacles. The first one is-"
"Blah blah, talk talk; are we gonna start this or what!?" Mooch interrupted rudely from where he stood, earning a stern glare from Colonel, which quickly made him shut up.
Tibbs saw his point however, and realized that it would be better to have the cadets experience it for themselves. "I suppose it would be wiser to allow you to start the course and see what's ahead. (Takes out a starter's pistol) That way we could test your skills of observing on the fly."
Tibbs fired a starter's bullet into the air and the cadets took off with Lucky and Tripod making the lead. The first obstacle was a set of tires for the cadets to put their paws through the holes of while running past them, and Lucky and Tripod were neck and neck for this. Mooch was surprisingly ahead of everyone else, and even tried to cheat by grabbing Lucky's tail, but Lucky sensed it and took a step to the right. The second obstacle was a wall climbing segment; it was at least eight feet tall, and had a slide to go down when reaching the top.
Despite missing a leg, Tripod was able to climb up the wall with ease and alongside Lucky, even managing to beat him to the top and slide down just a couple seconds before him. Lucky was able to keep up with him after sliding down next, and then they both arrived at the last obstacle, which was a monkey bar crossing segment. Lucky felt he had this one in the bag and boasted a bit as he started climbing across. "Guess today was my lucky day Tripod. Meet your top dog yet! (Notices something) Huh?"
Tripod was shown to be on top of the monkey bars, revealing that he'd managed to climb up to the top of them and start running across. He reached the finish before Lucky, but he didn't care. He now saw Tripod as even more of a fun challenge than before, and his excitement was clear. "Nevermind then!" Lucky and Tripod raced for the finish, and Tripod arrived just a split second before Lucky. As they caught their breath, Lucky spoke to Tripod with clear respect for him. "Normally, I hate losing. But you impressed me with that win there dude. (Offers a fist bump) But I've still got the hotter butt."
Mooch arrived at third just as Tripod rolled his eyes while smiling, the smile being aimed at Lucky complimenting him. He still accepted the fist bump, since he respected Lucky too. "I don't really care about the butt thing." Everyone else arrived at the finish with the leaders being clear, and the two adults knowing who the best cadets would be.
Lucky, Tripod, and Mooch were now standing on a podium that showed their placements; Mooch in third, Lucky in second, and Tripod in first. Lucky was pretty proud of where he placed, despite wishing he'd come out on top of everyone. As he and the other winners stood on their podium, Colonel explained the next part of their initiation to the three of them. "Now that the three of you have proven yourselves to be the most skilled of the brigade members, it will be you three who decide your brigades. Tripod, since you won the race, you'll go first."
Tripod looked at the possible candidates for his brigade, knowing that his first pick had to be the perfect one. This would determine the right hand he'd have on his team, the one who would assist him in everything he decided for his brigade. After inspecting all of them, he eventually decided on a Dalmatian who was actually the runt of the family. "Cadpig." The choice confused Cadpig a little, but she walked up to Tripod anyway and smiled. "You may not look the part, but that's what can be deceiving about you."
"There's an interesting philosophy." Cadpig said in response, being ready for what Tripod had in store for her. "Just don't expect me to participate in the violence unless I have to."
Tripod nodded in respect with Lucky then instantly knowing who he wanted in his brigade as his second member. "Patch! Get up here dude!"
Patch happily ran over to Lucky and the two did their signature paw-shake, leaving Mooch to roll his eyes as he then made his first choice, which was clearly to mess with the two of them. "Bella." Bella wasn't exactly fond of being on the brigade of someone she couldn't stand, but she knew she'd have to make work with it and went over to him. Mooch then taunted Lucky and Patch while being subtle enough to keep it hidden. "Shoulda seen that comin'." Lucky flipped Mooch off with him and Patch looking at him angrily, since they knew what he was doing.
A few minutes later, all three teams had five brigade members, with Lucky having Patch, Two-tone, Rolly, Roxie, and a German Shepherd, who looked a little younger than the others, on his brigade. Tripod had Cadpig and four other Dalmatians, with Mooch having Bella and four other Dalmatians as well. Tripod made his third pick between two other Dalmatians and a chicken, and his choice was the buff looking one. "I could use Duke as my powerhouse." Duke then gave a girly squee as he ran over to Tripod, who was starting to question what he just said. "Can I?"
Lucky looked towards the chicken and the other Dalmatian, and he was already well aware of the flaws of the latter. He pointed over to Spot with his thumb with reluctance. "Get over here Spot." Spot happily walked over to Lucky, who was ready to let Spot know what he wanted. "I don't care how you do it. Help me flex on Mooch."
Spot took note of that as Mooch groaned while face palming, and as he rubbed his paw down his face, he spoke up about his new member. "I guess Whizzer's on MY team."
Whizzer walked over to Mooch with Tibbs then speaking up about another element of the Bark Brigade. "There are seven stages of the Bark Brigade. Cadet, Deputy, Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Captain. I stand as a Sergeant on this brigade, and Colonel here, stands as a Captain. (Smiles) But you can refer us by our real names if you want; this isn't the REAL army." Lucky liked the idea of freelance, and so did some of the other pups, as Tibbs continued. "Overtime, you can rise in the ranks, and possibly one day, become a captain yourself. And when you're ready, the advancement is your choice."
Lucky raised his paw with Tibbs giving him his attention as Lucky then asked his question. "So you can CHOOSE when you advance, but you chose to stay Sergeant. What kept you from taking the Lieutenant rank?"
"Oh, I'm just waiting for some other candidates to reach the Sergeant position. It's not a position you want to leave unattended." Tibbs explained, and Lucky guessed he could get behind that as Tibbs then called for the Lieutenants. "Lieutenants! Your cadet leaders are ready for you!"
Lucky and the other Bark Brigade students were confused by this as three animals were then shown running over to the area. One of them was the Golden Retriever we saw in the premiere, the other was a Pug, and the last one was a female German Shepherd. Colonel introduced them one by one along with Tibbs and started with the Golden Retriever. "The Golden Retriever is Connor." Connor started waving to the Cadets, and he then moved his head fur back a bit as Colonel finished. "He's our newest Lieutenant. He managed to prove himself on the first go."
Tibbs spoke up about the German Shepherd as she kept a professional profile, and was shown sharpening a knife. "Over there, we have Melinda. She comes from a long running family of police dogs, and came here to continue that line in her own way." The Pug was then explained next as he snarled and intimidated some of the Cadets. Lucky wasn't one of them. "The last one is Pug. I'm not entirely sure why we chose him for the position. Anyway, Lieutenants; please select your brigade!"
Connor already knew which Brigade he wanted. "I'm with Lucky's brigade. He gives me the best impression." Lucky was surprised by this, but was flattered when Connor walked over to him and shook his paw, leaving him to smile in response.
Melinda then made her pick, which was the brigade she saw the most potential in. "Tripod." Melinda walked over to Tripod, who smiled as he shook her paw, and then got a taste of what she wanted from him. "And I don't expect you to go easy on that Lucky kid just because my brother works with him. Go as crazy as you want."
The German Shepherd then spoke up as he waved to Melinda from where he sat. "Hi Melinda!"
Melinda waved to the German Shepherd with a smile as Mooch gulped while seeing the vicious looking Pug walking over to him. He instantly showed contempt and annoyance at the sight of this. "As if this family couldn't get any more annoying."
Lucky was at the barn getting to know his new brigade, or at least the members he didn't know much about yet; so... the German Shepherd and Spot. He was getting to know the German Shepherd first, and as the German Shepherd showed that he was a hyper sort, dashing up to Lucky and stating what he liked. "My name's Blake! I like video games, and chili dogs, and running, and chili dogs, and helping people, and chili dogs, and farting and video games in that order!"
Lucky was already taking a liking to Blake as he rubbed his head and made it clear. "You and I are gonna get along just fine." He then looked to Spot, who walked over to him to introduce herself. "What about you Spot? What's your deal?"
"My mom wants me to follow the family tradition of being a chicken on this farm, but I wanna do something no chicken's ever done before." Spot explained, getting Lucky's attention with her clear dedication to her goal. "And I'm also not confident; at all. I joined the Bark Brigade to change that. I'll do my best not to let you down."
Spot held her palm out with Lucky gaining some respect from her as he shook it. He had a feeling Spot was gonna be a worthy member on his brigade. "I'm still a little skeptical about a chicken being on a team where everyone else is dogs, but I can totally get behind wanting to prove yourself." Lucky let go of Spot's paw as he emphasized a bit with her predicament. "Believe it or not, I sometimes worry that I won't be able to prove my worth to others myself."
Spot was glad she could relate to someone on her team already. It made her feel more welcome to have someone to talk to. "If it helps, you're already proving to be someone I'd wanna hang out with regularly."
Lucky gave a proud smile in response to that as we then saw Patch, Two-tone, Rolly, and Roxie speaking to each other as Two-tone was currently talking. "And I think we could get Colonel to approve of this as well. It would be simply magnificent if we could all wear our personalities in the Bark Brigade."
"Just try not to make mine too skinny Two-tone." Rolly requested, knowing that his would need to be a specific body size for this plan to work for him. "I think this is one of those cases where size does matter."
Two-tone was already planning that, and after that exchange, the two of them, along with Roxie, noticed that Patch was distracted. Roxie spoke up, having a feeling she knew what this was about. "You bummed out about Mooch picking Bella for his Brigade?"
Patch flinched and looked to Roxie, Two-tone, and Rolly. He knew it would be impossible to hide this, so he sighed as he then fessed up. "Yeah; kind of. I know I shouldn't let it get to my head, but he clearly did that to mess with me. And Bella isn't someone who would sabotage someone she doesn't like."
"She would SO not sabotage someone she doesn't like." Roxie assured Bella, letting him know that he was right about Bella. "She's about being fair and square with this stuff."
Two-tone was quick to assure Patch that this wouldn't affect her chances with Bella without stating it outright. "I think it's safe to say you'll still be capable of getting close with her as well."
Two-tone winked to Patch, who caught onto what she was saying as Lucky came from behind him and startled him a bit while putting his paws on his shoulders. "And she'll also love seeing you help to take down her stalker!" Patch saw that point, and then Lucky realized that he didn't have any proof to justify that claim. "At least I THINK he's a stalker. Roxie, is Mooch a stalker?"
Roxie shrugged, not really having an answer for that as Connor then ran over to the Brigade and spoke up. "Alright guys, come on! We're about to reveal the Bark Brigade area for training, lessons, and mission briefing!" Lucky and the rest of the Brigade all nodded to each and followed Colonel, ready to see where they would be training from now on.
All of the Bark Brigade students were now getting a tour of the Bark Brigade training area as Colonel showed them the trailer he and Tibbs lived in with the cadets sitting down as he explained what it was. "This doesn't hold anything truly significant towards your training as Bark Brigade members. It's simply where Tibbs and I reside on the farm. If you want our assistance for anything, you can come here and we'll offer you the best assistance we can."
Pug suddenly spoke up, glaring at Tibbs as he spoke, much to the latter's irritation. "As if anyone would wanna go to a scheming cat for help! Who knows what he could use to trick you!?"
Tibbs gave a deadpan look to the audience with Lucky whispering a joke to Patch about that statement. "Better than asking a racist for help. Especially if he lacks subtlety."
Patch snickered a bit as Pug overheard the two talking and walked over to them, catching the other high ranked members off guard. "Ah; a couple of wise guys, huh?" Patch started to feel a little intimidated, but Lucky wasn't scared. He just stared at Pug as he looked right at him. "Speak up brat! What did you say about me to your friend here!?"
"Nothing too important." Lucky admitted, and then he gave a smug grin to Pug as he commented on his attitude. "Just that a discriminating jerk like you is the last animal I'd want advice from."
Pug then got into Lucky's face as he shouted in regards to his disrespect. "You'd better not expect me to tolerate this disrespect! I am a Lieutenant in this force! You will respect me and my authority!"
Lucky then got a cheeky idea, winking to the others in his brigade as he smirked to Pug. "You wanna know how much I respect you right now?" Fine." Then, as if on cue, Lucky scrunched his face and lifted his butt with it being shown as...
PFFFFFFFFFFT
...the horseshoe spotted Dalmatian unleashed a rotten egg scented fart, making a big yellow cloud exit his rear end and hit a bird that flew right into it. The bird stopped in it's tracks thanks to Lucky's fart and then died from the disastrous odor, and while some of the cadets laughed at the flatulence, others were grossed out, leaving Tibbs to snicker at how Lucky was disrespecting Pug, who was not pleased. "That is NOT how you treat your superiors you spoiled brat! Give me twenty two on the spot!"
Lucky gave a deadpan look as he refused to do anything Pug told him. "No."
"Then give me forty four on the spot!"
"No."
"Sixty six on the spot!"
"No."
Pug then got into Lucky's face as he spoke as calmly and as angrily as he could. "Give me eighty eight on the spot."
"No."
Pug then got furious and shouted at the top of his lungs, annoying Lucky with the sound of his voice. "GIVE ME ONE HUNDRED AND TEN RIGHT THIS MINUTE CADET!"
Lucky simply ignored Pug's command and looked into his eyes as he commented on the volume of his voice. "Scream any louder, and one might mistake you for a little girl." Pug started to short circuit as Lucky then looked to Colonel and Tibbs regarding the tour. "Can we see the training field now? This so-called 'Lieutenant' bores me."
"Hey! That's MY so-called lieutenant." Tripod playfully responded as he gave Lucky a sly grin, leaving Lucky to shrug as Pug then walked away as he continued short circuiting.
The cadets were now being shown the training area, along with the lecture area, which were fairly close to one another. Colonel explained what the training area was as the cadets all observed it from afar. "As you can see, this area will be used for you to train yourselves in speed, strength, and endurance, as well as your ability to think on your feet. It will also be where your assigned commanding officers, or anyone on the staff, can observe how skilled you are at a safe distance."
Tibbs then started explaining what the lecture area was all about when he was sure Colonel was done. "The area with the chairs and speaking stand is where we'll give you lectures, assignments, and announcements regarding the Bark Brigade. (Gets stern) And I can't stress this enough; this is not an area for fighting or doing anything violent. We put it next to the training area for convenience."
Mooch then gave Bella a flirtatious grin as he thought about how much fun he was gonna have using this area to make her his own. "Just wait until you see me out on the open field Bella. You're gonna be watching me every single day, getting better than the best, and plowing the rest."
Bella yawned with boredom as she then saw Patch take out a sketchbook as he asked Colonel and Tibbs a question. "Can I draw the training area please?"
Bella found this way more interesting than Mooch, and as she did, Colonel gave Patch permission to use his sketchbook. "Why of course. We trust you'll use that in a way that benefits you."
"Great; thanks!" Patch happily started drawing down the training course with Mooch wondering why Bella was more interested in that than in him.
Lucky was shown to be snickering as he was seemingly changing with how his arms were moving in a way that could mean he was moving stuff around. As he was doing this, Tibbs spoke up from behind and startled him a little. "Having fun?" Lucky looked back to find Tibbs observing what he did, and it was revealed that Lucky changed what was on the Bark Brigade sign. With Lucky's meddling, it turned into 'Fart School for the Gifted', a name that Tibbs couldn't help but call Lucky out on due to his mocking flatulence earlier. "You really like farts, don't you."
Lucky laughed a bit as he gave Tibbs an answer that pretty much gave him what he needed to know a little more about Lucky. "I will neither confirm, nor deny that. But I think you can figure it out for yourself." Lucky then headed off with Tibbs following from behind him as Lucky assured him that he liked it here so far. "Make no mistake though. Aside from Pug, the Bark Brigade is awesome." Tibbs was glad to hear that. He and Colonel didn't work on the Bark Brigade for as long as they did for nothing.
Lucky and Tibbs joined the rest of the Bark Brigade staff as Colonel stood at the speaking post with Tibbs standing next to him, and the Lieutenants with their assigned groups. He held a proud smile on his face as he began to speak about how happy he was that all of the current members of the Bark Brigade signed up. "I believe I speak for all of the Bark Brigade staff when I say the sight of so many members this early on is a joy to see." Connor got a look at Lucky, who was showing genuine interest in the Bark Brigade all day. "And I hope it continues to stay that way."
Connor smiled upon seeing Lucky and his siblings adjusting so well, and his mission seemed to be going well as Colonel continued his speech. "I can't promise that every time will be easy, as that would be lying." Lucky was listening to what Colonel had to say, knowing that this information could be vital for the future. "But I CAN promise that the members who will try their best, no matter how hard things get, will prove themselves to be worthy heroes in Gruetly Bay; and possibly the world."
Lucky was glad to have a shot at proving how awesome he was in the Bark Brigade, and Colonel's finishing words of his speech further emphasized upon that. "No matter what doubts you may have, or what trials you may face, we will be more than prepared to help you excel in this Brigade. A loyal member of the Brigade, is a friend to the end." Lucky took note of that and decided to give it his A+ game in the Bark Brigade. He knew that it'd be worth it; not just to flex on Tripod, but also to prove that he was worthy of doing something worth remembering in this world.
Lucky and his friends were walking around with Roxie taking them to a place on the farm, specifically the woods that were near it, that she felt they'd like. "You four are gonna love this part of the farm. Well, technically it's in the woods, but you get it." Roxie walked in between two trees with the other four following him, and when Rolly got stuck, he pushed a bit more and got himself through. He then continued to walk with the others, who stopped so he could get out. It was then that Roxie grinned and showed them what she meant. "Behold; Hiccup Hole!"
Lucky and the others were impressed by what they saw with some of the farm animals relaxing by what looked like a pond. There were also some animals by some kind of snack stand being ran by Connor himself, much to Lucky's joy as he commented on it. "Sweet! Our Lieutenant brings on the grub around here!"
"It's part of what the Bark Brigade stands for from what he told me." Roxie revealed, walking over to the stand with Lucky and his friends. "Even outside of missions, we can still help others and show them that we're more than just spoiled brats who whine a lot."
Lucky and the others sat arrived at stand as Lucky revealed that this was exactly what he needed. "Sounds like a good opportunity to show everyone how awesome I am."
Roxie then gave Lucky a sly grin as she spoke up about how competitive Lucky and Tripod were whenever they saw each other. "You seem to be desperate to prove it with that Tripod kid. (Sits down on a stool) That could make for a good history lesson."
Lucky and the others sat down with Patch speaking up about how exactly their rivalry started. "I won't say much, but I WILL say that both Lucky and Tripod wanna be the best. Though, that should be pretty obvious."
Lucky and the others laughed a bit as Connor then went over to the counter and smiled as he talked to the group. "If you wanna know where you can start swimming on hot days, there's another part of the pond way down there that's perfect for it. Just be careful of Lucy. She can be pre-tty cranky."
"Sounds like a risk vs reward thing to me." Lucky then got a look at the drink options and instantly went for the cherry soda option. "Cherry soda, in a swirly straw." Connor did as Lucky requested and the Dalmatian happily started sipping his drink. "Thanks dude."
As Two-tone ordered her drink, Roxie saw Patch thinking about Bella and assured him that it would be okay. "Don't let Bella being on Mooch's team get to you Patch. After that little stunt Mooch pulled with you after you first moved here, he's the last one she wants anything to do with."
Patch felt he could take Roxie's word for it on that one. After all, she WAS Bella's best friend. If anyone knew how she felt about someone, it was her. "Then let's hope I still have a chance."
Roxie then got a look at Two-tone's drink, which was some kind of vegan smoothie, which led to a question from the Blue Heeler. "How can a dog be a vegetarian anyway?"
Two-tone wasn't entirely sure how to answer that, seeing as she knew it'd be hard to explain exactly how this work. "It's complicated Roxie. Explaining it could take a while." Roxie took note of that with the puppies continuing to have their drinks and have a good time together by Hiccup Hole.
Patch was currently talking to Bella by the barn as he told her about how Roxie showed him and his friends Hiccup Hole. "It's a really cool place so far too. We've gotta check out the swimming part they have there when we can."
"It's more than worth trying out, trust me." Bella assured Patch, and then she started to think about Mooch being the leader of her Brigade. She clearly wasn't a fan of it at all. "I still hate that Mooch recruited me just to mess with you. I bet he's not even gonna let me contribute whenever his Brigade gets a mission."
"If it helps, he probably would've done the same thing to me if Lucky or Tripod chose YOU first." Patch admitted, and then Bella looked at him as he then flinched before hiding why he said that. "Not that I would know anyway. Just a hunch, since he's a huge jerk and all."
Bella had a feeling Patch was hiding something about how he felt, but she decided to ignore that for now as she smiled and looked over the farm. "Let's not think about that right now. I shouldn't have brought it up." Patch was okay with that, and as he sat with Bella, she spoke to him about how beautiful the farm looked in the evening. "That sunset always makes the farm look that much more beautiful. You can really tell how pretty it all is when nature calls for it."
Patch saw what Bella meant and instantly took his notebook out and started drawing. Bella took notice of this and smiled, hoping that she would get to see Patch's drawing when he was done. Lucky was shown to be watching from the window above and he smiled upon seeing Patch and Bella still bonding to one another. Patch's drawing of the sunset shining over the farm was then shown as the screen faded to black, ending the episode off.
An instrumental version of the main theme played during the credits.
